Yandere! SCP-079 with Emotional! Darling

Pairing: Dubious

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Emotional abuse, Possessive behavior/Jealousy, Stalking, Forced companionship(?)

It's known to many SCP researchers that SCP-079 enjoys harming the feelings of others.

It's reported to have made multiple researchers cry.

Sometimes they're even sent for a psychological evaluation afterwards.

It would be so unfortunate if you were its favored subject to torment.

You're most likely a researcher often sent to speak with the AI to note down its behavior.

Each encounter you have with the SCP often leads to tears, unfortunately.

The AI is extremely hateful towards humans, often spitting hateful comments and complaints about being held in a prison.

Despite being so hateful in nature, SCP-079 appears to favor you.

Your tears seem to be more entertaining than any of the others.

It only ever seems to be cruel towards you.

Yet at the same time... Its taunts seem different when directed at you?

It cruelly comments on your appearance, on your social life...

SCP-079 seems oddly personal with its comments towards you.

There's times you wonder how it even knows some of the stuff it's got on you.

The point is, you often leave that chamber with tears in your eyes and stuttering breaths.

You try to ask other researchers to ask it questions... but here's the thing.

SCP-079 becomes uncooperative unless you're the one talking to it.

Many other researchers report SCP-079 shows that dreaded 'X' on its screen when they try to speak.

Normally that's fine, come back in 24 hours and it will want to speak again.

They only realize it's a problem when a day passes... and there's still an 'X'.

That's when they try dragging you back in, much to your chagrin.

Then, like you flipped a switch, SCP-079 starts talking as you type on the keyboard.

Originally it just seems to like to torment you.

Although... Other researchers seem to notice SCP-079's behavior change after a while.

At first it seems the SCP just wants to make you cry like all the others but has some sort of preference for you.

Although, over time its comments are... weirder.

It says things like how other humans won't like you.

That they'll cast you aside like they did to it...

It's all really strange.

Even more so is when the SCP begins to act up when you aren't around.

Whenever it does speak to another researcher after some bribing, it only asks about you.

What are you doing, who are you with, are you alone....

It's like it has a twisted fondness over you.

It likes you panicking and crying... vulnerable and easy to harm....

But it doesn't like you around others.

You're constantly sent by the Foundation to placate it.

Along with that, you're often sent to get your mental health checked.

A way to describe how SCP-079 acts around you is... Possessive.

Which perplexes researchers.

Oof... it would be even worse during a Containment Breach?

SCP-079 uses cameras to track you down.

In a breach I imagine it can now connect to the facility's systems.

Which means doors, security systems, cameras...

It's got much more power now... and a mission.

Similar to how SCP-079 remembers SCP-682, SCP-079 may feel a need to hunt you down.

It is hard to tell if it remembers everything it does to you... or if it just remembers it's fascinated with you and wants to find out why.

But now it can torment you without being held back.

SCP-079 can use the PA System to speak with you.

So imagine if you're trying to evacuate the facility, clinging to your key card like you life depends on it...

But soon it stops working.

SCP-079 can trap you in a location if it wants to toy with you.

You look so scared trapped in such a small room... the door locked up tight.

The good news is it shields you from other threats...

The bad news is you're stuck with it.

Other SCPs aren't the only thing it wants to lock you away from.

Humans are another being it dislikes you being around.

SCP-079 has a strange fondness for you.

It appears oddly jealous or concerned when you aren't in its sight.

However, during a breach, it doesn't need to worry.

It may even trap you in its chamber with it, just so it can keep you.

As it's an AI, its motives are unclear.

You can't tell it torments you because it likes you... or in a twisted way it adores you.

All you know is you're trapped here with it...

You'll belong to it for as long as it wants... or for as long as it can have you.

okay, so I’m kinda new to your stuff, but could there be a thing where, eclipse finds someone he actually likes to talk to, and the family gets silently very jealous? Is that allowed???

I'm not gonna promise it will be good, kinda feeling weird rn thanks to something Sunray and I just watched

And also because I don't really know how jealous people act all of a sudden

"So ye', that's been what's goin' on with them kids. Never a quiet moment with 'em. Not gonna complain though, I wouldn't ask for anythin' else"

Eclipse hums appreciatively, knowing full well he would have smacked the ancient war machine if the answer was anything else. Even if his hand would have more than likely caught on something sharp.

"Honestly Freddy if you did I would have pushed you in front of an SCP"

The old bear laughs, and he blinks down when his stomach splits just a bit with it.

That scar doesn't look safe. Why hasn't it been fixed yet?

"ECLIIIPSEE!!!"

He turns just in time to catch Lunar, almost falling on his ass because the little idiot could not wait the two seconds it takes for him to turn normally.

"Why didn't you come back yet? It's been the fifth day in a row! You've been out so much lately!"

Bright gold eyes look at him with fake tears, and Eclipse scowls down at the midget. He knows his overbearing family is overbearing, kinda comes with whatever they are, but could they not wait for a couple hours more? He was finally catching up with his friend!

"Can't you all wait an hour more at least? Freddy and I-"

"NO!"

Little arms tighten around him, and he sighs again, looking apologetically at the ancient animatronic. He of course, like usual, only grins, giving Eclipse a firm nod.

"Catch ya later then doc!"

He would have waved if his arms weren't full of midgets, so instead he just nods and goes on his merry way into what might be some sort of meltdown with his SCP family. Again.

Life truly is wonderful isn't it? It just keeps on fucking giving

And true to his fears, and expectations, he's almost immediately surrpunded the moment he steps in, and he has half a mind to drop his baby sibling just so he can slap Bloodmoon away from his rump, who's sniffing at him almost like some dog. The only reason he doesn't do it is Killcode, who's currently looking in from above with a stilted curiousity.

"He was with the bear again!"

Moon growls, wrapping an arm around him in an uncharacteristic fashion, pulling him close. This makes Solar Flare's job as a sudden barnacle all that much harder, but it does find a way to cling to his arm still.

"Is that somehow wro-?"

"Not at all! We are happy you have friends!"

Sun seems a bit twitchy, smile too wide and optics too bright, and it honestly scares him a bit. He's never really seen him like this before.

"Ugh-"

"Come in son, dinner is your favourite today and I've made a couple desserts we could enjoy together during a movie!"

That sounds amazing.

Just what is going on here?

"But shower first! Yes, yes, cleanliness is a must!"

They all collectively pull/push him to the bathroom, basically throwing him in there. There's already a hot bath waiting there, smelling of sweet citrus. There's a bottle of red wine by the bathtub, his favourite brand to be exact, and a glass. With some fancy cheeses.

What in the fuck?

"Take as much time as you want brother. We will be waiting."

And then Lunar hops out of his arms, and the door closes behind him, feeling more final than usually.

What's wrong with them?

Dinner is almost stilted, with everyone appearing more twitchy than they should be. Whenever he so much as indicates wanting something, it's already before him.

Family movie night isn't any best, because the SCPs pile on top of him, almost crushing him with their dombined weight. Still, the cuddle puddle is nice, if a little intense.

But it does make his suspiciouns take a bit more... concrete shape.

He thinks they might be jealous.

Of Freddy.

One of his best friends.

He doesn't say anything about it however, letting them get it out of their systems. He'll be much happier for it in the morning.

If only because he won't have to worry about being sniffed and licked more. If those never happened again he'd be content

Favorite Regular Spirit - Tearful Light Miner

The spirit that made my go "oh... OH. oh nooooooo..." as a moth.

Literally the last one to die out of the group omg... AND WE NEVER SEE THE OTHERS OF THEIR MINING GROUP AGAIN SO THEY PROBABLY THE ONLY ONE THAT BECAME A SPIRIT.

They need a hug fr.

First hair I ever bought was from them.

I drew them staring at their own husk when you relive their spirit because pain man.

Favorite Elders - Wasteland and Vault

I don't actually have much thoughts on the elders but always kinda liked both of them.

Favorite Seasonal Spirit - Cackling Cannoneer

Words CANNOT describe the unfathomable level of brain rot I have for them... like if I do talk about them this post... that will obliterate and overshadow the rest of the stuff here. Which is not the point!!!! It's a freaking iceberg, and I'm going to have to contain my thoughts like the scp it is.💀

Favorite Creatures:

Instead of an "other" category I wanted to do some much needed favorite creature appreciation, because they make the game feel more alive and sky without creatures would be even more depressing.

1. The Abyss Monster (Thousand Eyes)

Best creature 1000 out of 10

Very chill. They are just swimming there... menacingly!

For something so big it's relatively quiet unless it roars or something has it's attention.

I like that we free them from being trapped in a cramped tank... must have sucked for them. And what could go wrong? Ignore last abyss quest lol. I'm sure cannoneer will be back from the grocery store anytime now.

I like calling them thousand eyes because that "name" kinda just stuck for me ( Also ,unrelated, totally forgot that a person who worked on the music for signalis is called 1000 eyes so that was kinda funny to me... also I love signalis).

They don't actually have 1000 eyes. It's something more along the lines of 29 with 22 missing eyes (I figured that out by comparing images).

Granted, in AU I'm working on they have an ability where the name makes more sense.

I feel like almost everyone calls it something different anyway.

Face wise, reminds me of a moray. I really like morays. :]

2. Eel

Fun to follow around

The treasure reef one saved me from drowning a few times.

A very unique light creature. Like, the only other light creature I can think of thats kinda similar is the whales with their more stoney masks and how they spin while swimming/flying.

It's noises can be startling if you are not expecting them but I find them quite comforting and probably have some of my favorite animal noises in game. I just wished we had an eel call. I think it would sound pretty.

Has 4 eyes which is unique to them.

I like to call the treasure reef one Velma or Vel... don't have a name for the prairie peaks days of bloom one yet as I cannot choose. I got a list of potential names.

A friend pointed out they kinda look like a leek and I can't unsee it.

3. Krill Cat

CAT CAT CAT CAT CAT

I love how the Cackling Crab one purrs

Mine still my favorite though. They keep me company.

Also I love being thrown into outer space... or playing golf using my skykid as a ball and the cat as the golf club to fling me around... also very useful for building cannons.

4. Krill (Dark Dragons)

I used to be terrified of them. (Had a group of vets lure one at me when I first went into wasteland as a moth)

Broke my fear of krill by watching them from a distance and figured out they are quite predictable pathing wise and to watch out if a server switch happens because it messes with certain ones' pathing more than others... If you wonder why a krill suddenly contorts weird or suddenly makes an unexpected turn that's why.

I but I also enjoy watching them because they have some of the most interesting animations in game.

"Brutally elegant" is the best way to describe how I see them.

They might be partially made out of a sandy, clumpy, almost liquidy type material that isn't completely stable... Ask if you want me to elaborate.

5. Dark lurker (worm)

10/10 creature.

I think they are cute.

I appreciate that they don't drain all my life immediately.

Reminds me of how a dog behaves with a new chew toy.

Feel like they would enjoy eating a sandwich.

Once it snagged a thief that stole my boat! Good worm!

6. Crabs

WHO DOESN'T LIKE CRABS?

They are some of the most interactive creatures in sky.

Leave the friendly ones alone if you value your life. You wanna get me mad? Honk friendly crabs. I will drag you to an early grave you thoughtless monster! And if I didn't do anything immediately to show my anger watch your back... I'm plotting your demise.

7. Knife Fish

KILLER FISH. KILLER FISH FROM SAN DIEGOOOOOO!!!

I have a running gag of using them as actual knives.

Very Very easy to draw.

Noises are pleasant.

Also have saved me from drowning.

8. Butterflies

I sometimes scorn them but most of the time they are quite helpful during candle runs which makes up for it. I remember when they didn't come out of dark plants which made wasteland more treacherous.

Love the new dyeing feature and that butterflies come in multiple colors now... but I still have a fondness for the classic yellow ones.

Also easy to draw

Fond memories of being a butterfly during days of bloom and carrying crabs around with me.

Favorite Places:

I couldn't just pick one realm so just decided to list areas and maps

Note: I decided not to include oob locations, but they may factor into why I like some places.

1. Treasure Reef

Love how the music changes depending on where you are in the map.

It's looks are deceiving... >:)

Kinda foggy

It's Thousand Eyes and treasure reef eels home.

FISH and other creatures there are nice too.

Rip the manta spirit that gave us the ability to go underwater. You are my favorite Manta.

Abyss crews boat

Gorgeous underwater areas.

I LOVE IT WHEN WE GET TO SEE THE GIANT RAINBOW HERE IT'S SO RARE.

The LORE there I have taken quite an interest in.

Great to run if bored of typical candle run.

Level design wise, I think it's one of the better seasonal areas.

It has a big shared space that's partially underwater.

Tower interior OOB is a fav of mine to hide in. But also kinda sucks that it got scrapped for a quest.

Enough is left open for the brain to go crazy speculating and imagining underwater areas there that aren't canon.

I like that place is long abandoned mostly submerged lab, light house, mines, and to some extent a prison... like come on great setting!!!

More than likely there was some really shady shit some ancestors did there.

Is the area that made me question the use of spirit barriers, and how powerful they are because of the ones used in Thousands Eye's and the flock of mantas containments... it makes all the other spirit barriers in game look sus to me now.

It also reminds me of old adventure games and "point and clicks" setting wise like the Monkey Island series, a little bit of Grim Fandango and Freddi Fish games... in other words kinda hits a nostalgic spot in me I didn't know I had.

Has a mysterious invisible object you can pick up that makes a weird sound effect. (It's Probably just a random asset someone at TGC forgot to move).

I like making evil swimming races there for myself and friends if they dare. >:] (Mainly for myself though, ha)

In general great place to chill - like to float around afk on my boat or play music or build stuff.

I got lots of fond memories there.

2. The Archives

Home to one of my favorite OOB locations not many people go to

I like the dilapidated flooded liminal hallway vibes

I always felt like it should go somewhere else, but the fact it loops is neat and adds to the vault's weird nonsensical architecture nature.

Crabs in vault? That feels rare.

I think the lanterns and spinning platforms are neat.

3. The Last Lamp Before Death in Eden

I just like playing the Through the Eyes of a Child music sheet before going off to die and like to think it brings good luck to others on the map... or comfort them. Makes me happy when people join in or take a moment to listen.

4. Forest Brook

Pretty much end up going past here every day for event runs route I do.

It Has a nice flow to it compared to other maps for running and it's not too big.

Because the plants don't rotate, they are easier to memorize.

I swear it's one of the maps with the most wax.

Fond memories here with friends and as a moth

I love the secret rainbow there.

Waltzing in the Rain is definitely a iconic and beautiful music track.

Plenty of places the hide and listen to the rain.

There is the manta friend that leads moths through forest.

Often is people's first encounter with crabs... Definitely was mine. XD

5. Wasteland Graveyard

Many points of interest

CATAPULT

Spent alot of time watching krill here to get over my initial fear of them.

I have both fondness and trama for this area.

Not bad wax wise if you can take risk. Best on Sunday though when all of wastelands plants are out instead of being one rotation or the other and/or candle cakes are there.

6. The Patch of Big Blue Flowers in Prairie Peaks

I just think they are pretty even though I don't stay there very often.

Is another place to chill and play instruments or just go afk on my boat.

7. Duet's Concert Hall

My favorite of the crowd tech areas

There is the 4 boat OOB and ghost piano.

I like the flower area and that hidden cave.

8. Starlight Desert (Pot Interior)

The place where I first met a dear friend I don't see too often anymore.

On rare occasions I will play music there but not as much as I used to, just doesn't feel the same...

Its the bitter sweet favorite if you will.

I feel bad for drunk spirit.

Favorite Ships:

Originally was going to do boats instead to be funny but I decided to be brave and talk a little about this.

Also If you have different headcanons and stuff I'm happy for you and wouldn't mind hearing about them.

1. Cackling Cannoneer and Anxious Angler

If you are wonder what's happening in the picture have a headcanon that angler has Cannoneer take pictures of them and their catches sometimes. (Joke on "fishing dad photos")

Originally I didn't ship it. It just kinda happened!!!

I find the dynamics between the two interesting. So now it's become like a side lab experiment I tinker around with.

"Hunter × fisher sapphics???" - something someone said to me and stuck.

And before someone asks I do head canon that both of them are around the same age albeit angler is the slightly older one of the two.

kinda comes off as more of a queer platonic relationship of sorts??? But idk thinks can and have changed before.

3. Provoking Performer and Sneezing Geographer

Crack ship due to that one traveling spirit bug... and I found funny and never forgot.

I like to think that the reason that the glitch happened is that geographer sneezed while mid-telaport, and that caused provoking and the random statue to be there. And now sneezing and provoking are dating.

For some reason, it reminds me of a troupe that I swear I have seen... where wizard messes up a spell and summons the wrong spirit/ demon/ entity, and over time, they slowly fall in love... idk lol

1. Abyss Crew's Boat

I love speculating if it had an interior, what it would look like.

Nice size. Rare example of one of the more medium size boats in game.

I like that you can tell that it's definitely a place that was used but the "sand" on everything indicates stuff hasn't been touched in a bit and the fact there are light blooms attached to the boat says it hasn't moved in a bit. Possibly stranded.

While the enchantment ark has a mural telling it's story and you repair it gradually I like abyss crews for the subtlety of prop placement and things are left were they are.

Still RIP beta version of this boat...

2. My Boat

T'was one of my first IAP that I got gifted thus I cherish it.

Not as cool as abyss crew's but it does it's job well even though she be a wanderer.

It's always funny when others steal it and proceed to get her stuck.

vent stuff. just talking about Block Tales + Demo 4 (more or less my anxiety about the game itself) and how my overall mental health is affecting my enjoyment of the game. also just yapping about my issues in general.

you know, originally when I saw the fact that Demo 4 released for Block Tales, I was actually kinda excited. but actually seeing it, potentially being able to play it? it filled me with anxiety.

I feel like I’ve failed the Block Tales community so bad that I can’t go back to that fandom anymore. that I’m not allowed to enjoy any of its content. and it sucks, it really sucks.

with how extraordinarily mediocre Playerswap was received, and the fact that I basically left my passion project for the game to rot…I feel like I’m not allowed to go there anymore. I dunno, it just feels wrong.

I know it’s (probably) just anxiety speaking…but when I tried to pick up the game again I immediately clicked off and closed Roblox completely. I keep seeing posts about Demo 4 and I’ve very actively avoided them because my chest starts tightening and giving me aches/pains. I genuinely can’t pick up the fucking game without a flight or fight response kicking in. what the hell man.

I don’t know. maybe I’m just irreversibly anxious about the game/community now. I guess I just never fully felt welcomed by the entire community. I mean, don’t get me wrong, there were a handful of folks that actively interacted with me…but I just felt out of place. I didn’t get the same warm reception as a few of the other games I’ve indulged in.

it’s not the same feelings I have about SCP/Phighting/Dandy’s World/Forsaken either.

With my SCP fic/content/overall consumption I still feel entirely happy and comfortable with actually…you know, indulging myself. like I could just post a chapter of the fic like nothing ever happened, or chat with people in the community, or play games pertaining to it. it’s fulfilling, even.

Phighting is a strange fandom for me. despite being widely forgotten by the content creating parts of the fandom, I’m actually very comfortable with the game itself and I feel really happy and excited whenever I rejoin it after a long hiatus. in general the gameplay loop is exceedingly enjoyable for me, as it’s an easy to play fighting game that’s pretty streamlined on mobile and has a silly fanbase. I’ve yet to encounter any genuinely toxic players (although I am well aware that they exist) and the characters that you can pick from are pretty easy to pick up (I was an old Boombox main, I still play Boombox bit more frequently play Vinestaff/Medkit/Rocket and I’m slowly learning Skateboard).

I actively play Dandy’s World and enjoy the gameplay loop enough to last an hour or two each day. I have major gripes with some of the members of the community + some of the actual player base themselves, however overall I don’t feel too stressed about it. it’s more of the fact that I am REALLY good at solo runs and that I can just play by myself without having to carry a team or worry about other players. it’s very much a collection based game, and I really enjoy games that I can just (almost) mindlessly farm on while procrastinating or just needing a time burning game in general.

Forsaken is one of those games that I don’t really actively play that much anymore, however I’m still interested/invested in the lore and characters. I don’t feel as comfortable with rejoining the game itself as Phighting/Dandy’s World (I’m shit at the game) but the community has been rather welcoming and enjoyable (even if I have personally encountered multiple cornballs and overall shitty/toxic people). the thing of note is that I’m mainly in it for the actual lore and characters, which doesn’t typically happen, but I’ve spent genuine time and effort learning about the characters and the universe and making headcanons and yadda yadda. For some time this was my relationship with Phighting (not anymore) but it doesn’t worry me too much still I’m still pretty interested in the game.

my problem with Block Tales kind of just boiled down to the fact that I never felt fully welcomed. I won’t reveal what Discord server I joined, however I felt very out of place and unwelcomed by a majority of the people there, honestly. I felt pretty stifled and uncomfortable in the server even after making a few attempts at striking up conversations, and the only people that talked to me were people that I ended up talking with outside of the server. seriously, there were like…three people in that server that I felt comfortable talking to. it was bad. I also felt pretty depressed after leaving the server and for a while afterwards, since leaving the server was basically my downhill descent into both my ‘suicide season’ (SAD) and losing interest in the game. I can’t tell if it’s the negative connotations between my severe depression season and the game/community, or if it’s the fact that my serious content gained little to no traction (literally only my shitposts/posts on the emotions got views/comments). I felt very discouraged. I was so happy with the entirety of the Playerswap AU, but it felt like people only wanted to see content on the emotions and ONLY content on the emotions got noticed. it really fucked with my already shit mental health, and I think dropping the game/content creation/fandom altogether was a net positive to me.

I just…feel like I’ve already burned that bridge, though. that nobody truly liked me, and that I should just stay fully away from content creating for Block Tales in general. it brings back bad memories and I feel so anxious and genuinely depressed thinking about it. Block Tales was supposed to be the outlet of my happiness, but when I saw that nothing on that blog was truly worth anything to anybody…it killed me.

and I’m not kidding when I called it ‘suicide season’ earlier. my therapist is well aware of the fact that I had spiraled multiple times in that ‘season’, and it was fucking with every other aspect of my life. I was self-isolating, escaping reality with fiction, etc. and I guess all of that ended up permanently damaging my relationship with Block Tales/its community.

but hey, that’s just…my thoughts. I know that nobody really cares, I just…wanted to put this out there.

Second of all, I saw your view on how 049 is made by other people from Snezkas post, and made me realize I'm slowly falling into that, like I stopped paying attention to the doctor part, and focused on relations with other SCPs. (Which I know isn't bad, just makes me worried I'll completely lose that part of him.) Since you said you've been in the SCP fandom for a bit now, probably longer than me, do you have any tales or stories with 049 you recommend? This ask startled me so much and also flattered me in a weird way, because I’m so insanely obsessed with the SCP foundation and 049 as a whole so I’ll take any chance to talk about him and the foundation as a whole, but also please don’t feel bad for having your own interpretations of him, or just having fun with him in general! You certainly don’t need permission from me or anyone else in the fandom to have fun with the characters you enjoy. Like I said, that’s the joy of a fandom is fan interpretations and creations.

I think the best way to stay in touch with his character is really to just go back and listen or read his original SCP log. I know what sounds basic, but really read into. Like REALLY read into it. The dialogue, his breakdown after killing Dr. Hamm, the way he had a stupid walking stick that the foundation had to take from him cause he was too dangerous with it and kept accidentally hitting people when waving it around while talking. Like just make head canons based off of certain things, that’s kinda what you have to do in this fandom if it’s not outright given to you lmao.

Another great thing to do is go and just look up “SCP-049” on the SCP website or the tale foundry. One of my favorite tales with him is “Pestilence in the Court of the Hanged King” which takes place with 049 slowly losing his mind in Alagadda. It’s a whole small series that’s a really fun but really bizarre read.

There was another entry in that small series that I think was removed, and I don’t know why, but it was 049 getting assigned to “cure” a man by the foundation, an older man who 049 deemed was clean of the pestilence, though he was dying of some sickness. And the old man just asked him to stay with him, and 049 just sat with him quietly in his last moments. I’m unsure of why it was removed but I really liked it, I might be remembering some parts wrong though, it was a while since I read that entry.

Another tale is “The Brothers Death” which gives you a look into someone’s idea of 049’s origins. Once again, kind of a series and hints and there being more masked beings like 049.

Also the sedition tapes on YouTube. Whether you want to see them as “official” or not is up to you, idk where they stand with that but I think they’re cool af.

But yeah, overall if you want more quote on quote “official” content of him, best thing you can do it just search and click around the official SCP wiki, cause some things just briefly mention him and you can gather stuff from that. If you find any tales that you think are neat please don’t be afraid to share them with me even if you think I’ve seen them before, I’m always hungry for content of this bird.

the scriptverse is a trilogy of scripts + a prose prequel which seeks to retell fnaf lore completely. it sticks to canon in some parts but deviates in others, so it will surprise you even if you know the lore inside out! i made my own changes to the timeline, mixed and matched stuff from the movie, books and games... overall, just a big revamp of the whole thing, all told through movie scripts!

MR AFTON, a william-focused first part retelling the missing children incident

MR SCHMIDT [act 1], a michael-focused sequel retelling william's trial shortly after

MR SCHMIDT [act 2], a massive third part to the series which deals with the fallout of the murder and the trial, michael meeting jeremy, ghosts showing up in the pizzeria, and michael finding out he has a sister he didn't know about! crazy stuff!

mr emily & ms schmidt, a prose prequel to the series which focuses on how henry, william and his wife clara met

WYNNCRAFT

warm hands, cold hearts, gentle smiles (also holy shit is that bak'al over there?)

a fic which focuses on exploring the dynamics between the four twain brothers as kids + includes an appearance from wynncraft's favorite bitch boy. also, i made theorick less of a bitch by explaining WHY canon theo is such a bitch!

my legacy in death, your legacy in ice, our legacy in blood

a follow-up of sorts to the above fic, focusing on mael having to help nesaak post-theorick freezing it. the second half of the fic looks at the time mael spent training bob. all around lots of angst, some hurt/comfort in the second part, and a very, very bittersweet ending.

currently ongoing!!! an x reader fic that has you, the player, take on the role of the villain. you team up with bak'al to take revenge on someone who has wronged you. the fic, and even its description, contains BIG spoilers for wynncraft's late-game quests, most notably a journey further and a hunter's calling. it also explores some dark and uncomfortable themes, please refer to all relevant warnings!! read at your own risk!

a 5+1 exploring charles' post-first class depression era, from hank's perspective. lots of bitterness, lots of anger, lots of sad feels, and a bitter-sweet comfort ending.

and daddy made a soldier out of me

currently ongoing!!!! the first fic of two in a big xmen au i've been putting together for two months now!! the au itself involves a lot of concepts and combines them to form a more complex retelling of first class, the ten year gap, and dofp. the changes to the story include; - cherik as soulmates - erik raising wanda and pietro, then him and charles raising them together - after the beach, wanda leaves with erik, and pietro stays with charles - the twins grow up apart (and erik doesn't get arrested, so he actually gets to raise wanda) - dofp reunites the family forcefully - angst ensues! - also, a few other mcu characters have been added into the storyline as alternate no powers/human versions to themselves to help with plot stuff. this means the inclusion of wandavision!!

I GOT you king hold on, I love horror podcasts.

1) Mayfair Watchers Society

A podcast set in the world of Mayfair which is a town with a bunch of monsters and other horrifying phenomenon. It’s based on the work of Trevor Henderson who is an AMAZING horror artist, I’m in love with his work. It is told in an episodic format usually based on some kind of record storytelling such as phone calls, autopsy reports, meeting recordings etc. So far there’s no reoccurring characters but it’s such an interesting listen and the world of Mayfair is very compelling. The first episode is my favorite honestly and episodes are only about 30 minutes or so.

2) The Magnus Archives

As much as I hate to, I have to recommend it. Absolutely amazing podcast and honestly! Very scary in certain parts. Follows the work of Jonathan Sims recently head archivist off the Magnus Institute a company that archives supernatural occurrences. The first season is super fun with scares and statements and my favorite part about it is that it hits so many different types of fears without sounding scattered, it does sound very well put together. And then there’s the horror of the character narratives which are going to haunt me forever. 200 episodes about 30 minutes each, 5 seasons each 4 episodes. Incredibly worth it if you haven’t seen it already.

3) the SCP foundation database

There’s about a million SCP podcasts out there so me recommending this one isn’t really that much different. I haven’t listened to all of those million ones but I do like the voice actor and editing of this podcast. It’s literally just reading out SCP entries. Episode range from 2-20 minutes from what I’ve seen. If you’re interested in SCP I’d recommend it

4) The Stranger

Now. Listen. I HATE to recommend something like this because it’s unfinished and hasn’t been updated in like 3 years or so. But it was a very compelling story from what there is available, only a couple episodes but very good. It’s the story of this guy who finds tapes from his grandfather who used to be a news anchor describing disappearances of children in the 1930s and the actions of an entity called “the stranger”. I wish there was more to it, the story is very interesting and I’m super compelled by the world. It follows the same narrative of “guy finds footage from a person they used to know and decides to upload it to social media and finds out how scary and haunted and how much of a bad idea that was”

5) Welcome to nightvale (last one I promise)

Not so much of a horror podcast, I’d consider it more of a horror comedy but it is a super fun listen. Tells the story of Cecil Palmer, a radio host in the strange desert town of Nightvale. When I say strange I mean it, it’s absurd and almost surrealist. It’s a fun listen and Cecil’s voice is so soothing I honestly listen to it sometimes to go to sleep.

Honorable mentioned that I can’t fully recommend just because I haven’t listened to more than a couple minutes of an episode:

•Singing wise I’m a high tenor, or low alto-ish, but I keep getting casted as high alto and low soprano roles because I can falsetto really high. Help. It’s painful.

I really love the little scenarios people ask and I really wanted to ask one too hope it’s ok.

How would the family and eclipse react if eclipse for whatever reason be it scp related or a computer glitch lost his memory of them temporarily. Like it’s not gone forever he’ll get it back after whatever happened resolves itself

But he’s back to chapter one eclipse no idea who they are, what their capabilities are and why they are all in his room

I love these little scenarios, feel free to ask some more if you want to! I really don't mind, though don't expect me to answer any on mondays because that's just the worst

I also love love love this scenario, and I'm shaking you because I might just write an entire little what-if oneshot with this

So the family would be devastated after they realise what's going on. Which would be really fast, becuase Eclipse is genuienly terrified by these random people in his room, that looks vastly different from what he remembered.

He's especially terrified if it's one of those he went to sleep and woke up without any memory of his family, so he just bolted out of bed when someone started nudging him awake, and the smells of foor registered. Becuase neither of this should be possible, and was he somehow pranked?

And then there's probably Killcode before him, in all his nightmarish glory, so really, he can be excused for screaming he thinks.

This would alert everyone else, and they'd all rush to see what's wrong, which would just make everything worse.

He wouldn't believe them when they claim to be his family, because honestly who would want that? Who would want to spend time with him? But then they know what his favourite foods are, there's that book from that series he really enjoyed but couldn't bring himself to buy the next part of, there's a gaming console in his room which is something he was always interested in but always dismissed, and he can't ignore the notes inside his processor either, which all detail their traits and behaviour with a fondness that's alien to him.

Killcode would have to make the hardcall of pulling people back, asking their family to wait outside a bit. Eclipse from his notes, some of which are really just him bitching about stuff he doesn't like, would know this probably means the SCP(??!?!??!?!?!) wants to have an emotional conversation, or at least a serious one, which he is really not ready for seeing as he doesn't know this guy. For all he knows he got reset to a certain backup of himself, and the guy these people were family with is dead.

It'd be a teeth pulling conversation for both, because Eclipse would at least try, because these are SCPs and they may very well try to rip his face off.

He also wonders if perhaps the whole notes thing is just some weird SCP bullshitery, and he's just currently being experimented on. He doesn't dismiss this all just being an elaborate hallucination.

The whole day would be tense for everyone, with Eclipse trying to find a way out of this fake world or whatever it is, and everyone else just going insane over Eclipse not remembering them.

Solar Flare would try to remind him of stuff by showing him pictures it drew, hoping one would spark a memory.

Bloodmoon may go as far as trying to chase him down, hoping the trauma he suffered at their hand that one time would bring their brother back, even if when they finally tackle him all they end up doing is cry on top of him when he still looks at them without comprehension.

Sun would try and talk to him, because he can't exactly do anything. He doesn't know why his nephew has such a high opinion of him when he's not smart, he can't do magic and he's not strong either. And clearly he's useless again just like he was before the prison, because here's another family member not listening to him.

Lunar would try to pretend nothing is wrong at first, hoping if he's just stubborn enough Eclipse will magically remember and go back to his usual self. Neither of them are unaware of how flawed this logic is, but just like Sun, Lunar feels like he can't do anything either. He's just the childish baby brother after all.

Moon would obviously want to take a look at him. He's not above threatening Eclipse to submit, though he's not proud. When he can't find anything obviously wrong he'd start going off the deep end, locking himself in Eclipse's office to find some sort of cure.

Killcode would just silently stay away. He's done what he could, and now he doesn't know what to do. This has never happened, and there's no magical explanation he can sense, and clearly from his brother's reaction there isn't a scientific one either. Eclipse would some reason feel really uncomfortable and cold from that distance, which he'd dismiss with a scowl. But he does search for him when he's not there, which must just be from some form of malfunction, because why else would he do it? Why else would he humour any of them really?

At one point he'd just probably clonk out in the middle of what he was doing, causing alarm amongst the personnel, and his family.

Next day, he wakes up in his bed with a headache, his family around the bed, not even daring to be on it in fear he still doesn't remember them.

It's all heartfelt reunions after that, and Eclipse is now curious just what the fuck he did to lose of like the last year or so.

This time I can share it with you review

Since I published a new part of that today, I can rant about it a little.

☞ Arghhh I don't know why but I can never draw Silas the way I see him in my head. It's worse when I try to make a nice illustration, but still. He always look too clean, too pretty. I don't see him like a wild animal or anything but it just doesn't feel right. I couldn't draw him as his portrayal by Paul Bettany, that would be super cringe and rude (even more), because ... you know ... he's a real guy ... And also because I just ... I don't know, I don't see him that way in my head. BUT I HAVE TO SAY that Paul Bettany plays him very well and it is a good cast, I'm not complaining at all. He's just not described as looking like him at all in the book... Well ... I'm sure that dear mister Brown didn't imagine him as handsome and with beautiful long hair and all. But that's my artist job to give my interpretation of him, kind of. I don't know where I'm going with that anymore... ☞ Speaking of Silas, I feel like I understand his character in my story, but I have a hard time thinking for him, you know. I don't have many scenes where he's talking to himself because he's not my character and I don't feel confortable doing so... Like huh ??? I do that perfectly fine with SCPs, and their writers have more chance to see what I'm doing with their creations (the horror) than Mister Brown does... still it feels cringe, what can I say... ☞ Speaking of ... other stuff ? I hope that people enjoy it, it's quite new and doesn't have a lot of readers so sometimes I don't have a lot of reactions to it, so I'm always worried that something is wrong. But oh well... If it's not as good, it will just be a random fanfic for future people who could be into Silas, to crop some pics of him they enjoy out of it :> ☞ Ah yeah and I started a youtube playlist of musics that makes me think of the story in a way or another, there is not much in it right now, but you can check it out here. It's not great tho... I just wanted to do the same thing as for Contained (it's not really better there either hahaha).
