I’ve been speaking a lot about Noha these days, so I’ll choose them! Also hehe gonna take some inspiration from @illarian-rambling ‘s Illaros Illuminated, check it out! It’s really cool ✨👌

Noha walks into the room, slowly at first, looking around to see if anyone else is there. When they’re satisfied that they are alone with the interviewer, they take the only seat in the room and face the camera.

“Let’s just get this over with,” they grumble, cutting off the interviewer’s introduction.

They cross their arms and wait for the first question.

Are you named after anyone?

“Not that I’m aware of.”

When was the last time you cried?

They pause, then begrudgingly answer: “Two months ago.”

Do you have any kids?

“No.”

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Their eyes narrow, and the interviewer is fairly certain Noha’s scowling at them from underneath their mask. “Why don’t you tell me?”

What is the first thing you notice about people?

They think on this one. “If they’ve got weapons on them. If not that, then how they walk. It’s telling.” Noha shifts a little in their seat, giving the interviewer a glimpse at a knife hidden underneath the layers of black they have on.

What’s your eye color?

“Brown.”

Scary movies or happy endings?

They’re confused, if the eyebrows furrowing from underneath their fringe is anything to go by. They ponder the question for a moment, long ears twitching in thought. “…Happy endings.”

Any special talents?

There’s no pause here whatsoever.

“I like to think I’m good with knifework. And moving around in the dark.”

They flick one of their ears a little, adding: “These help with the latter.”

Do you have any pets?

“No.”

What sports do you play?

“None.” A tiny pause, then: “Unless dance counts?”

Noha shifts again, but uncomfortably. Seems they didn’t mean to let that slip.

How tall are you?

They start to answer, but then a piece of paper magically pops up in their lap. They blink once, twice, thrice at it before picking it up and reading it—with a bit of difficulty. “…It says here I’m 5’6” in your measurements. Whatever that means.”

They crumple the note up and stuff it into a pocket out of view.

What was your favorite subject in school?

“Didn’t go to a traditional school,” they shrug.

When the interviewer nudges them for a more in-depth answer, they sigh and reply, “I did like mathematics.”

What is your dream job?

The longest pause yet follows, and the interviewer starts to repeat their question, thinking Noha missed it. Before they can do that, however, they answer, quieter than ever:

“…I’d like to be something different from what I am now.”

They are staring holes into the floor, and when the interviewer dismisses them, the whole room goes dark. After a few moments, the lights come back on and Noha is gone.

We need to bring back The Muppet Show and not that shit they did a couple years ago the ACTUAL Muppet Show like I want Kermit to be interviewing stiff Dakota Johnson while Gonzo rides a flaming bike into a mound of chickens and being heckled by Statlor and Waldorf and Fozzie is playing the kazoo and Kermit goes crazy cause all he wants is to ask Dakota her experience in Madame Web
