Cracks knuckles. SO. TIME FOR ME TO ACTUALLY WRITE OUT MY INTERPRETATION OF SCOUT AND SPY'S FINAL RELATIONSHIP SHOWN IN THE 7TH COMIC. 

Spy still has not told Scout that he's his father. Why, you may ask? Well.... Scout doesn't need him. Scout went his whole life without Spy, and he's made a new life for himself now. Even if Scout were to learn that information, it really wouldn't do anything but possibly destroy him and Spy's current relationship. In Spy's eyes, Scout will always be his son. But from Scout's, Spy will never be his dad, even if he finds out. Spy knows this. He knows Scout doesn't need him. He knows that if he really wanted to have a father-son relationship with Scout, he should have been there when he was a kid. 

Remember this line from Scout? I think thematically, it could have possibly been referring to Spy too.

And honestly? I truly wouldn't be surprised if Scout already knows. Learned way back in the day at RED. He's smarter than everyone (including himself) gives him credit for. He just needs to get his head outta his ass in order to actually use said smartness. Like in the comic, you can see he's clearly matured, and he's clearly doing a great job. He's honestly fairly intelligent! Anyway... I wouldn't be surprised if Scout already knew, and decided to not give a shit. Scout might have had the same logic as above, he doesn't need Spy, and Spy will never be his father. And i could also see Scout TELLING Spy that he knows! But telling him that same thing, Spy will never be his dad. So the "I'm.... Your father's friend from work." Line could possibly be... Scout doesn't view Spy as his *dad*. So therefore, he probably wouldn't want his kids to view Spy as their grandfather, because it could be complicated. Scout just doesn't care about being Spy's son. He doesn't wanna make up for lost times and have a father now. He cares about Spy, and wants him in his life, but not in a father-son way. And Spy's okay with that. It still hurts, not because Scout rejected him, but because he knows this is his own fault. Moments like that, where he's talking to Scout's kids, his heart aches.

I always show pics of my snakes, and I show some of the wild herps I've encountered, but I don't think I've shown yall my frogs. This is my iiiittty bitty Cuban tree frog! I got him for free when he snuck into one of my bioactives via a tropical plant order. This is why you should always check your plants! Its not the first time I've gotten a free frog with my plant imports lol. They're invasive here in the U.S and their chirps have been known to mess with native frog species mating- ontop of that, these frogs are some of the largest tree frogs in the U.S and will often eat Native tree frogs or out-preform them. I've gotten native frogs on my plants too- those Natives I typically release during the night. But this little fella? I consider invasive species who are actively hurting the ecological balance free game. He has a nice 4ftx2ftx2ft enclosure to roam around, plenty of isopods, springtails, and the occasional dump of flightless fruit flies with supplements I give him. He's nearly tripled in size since he's appeared. He's still just a lil fella, but he's doing pretty great!

Saw a post on here that basically boiled down to ‘anything you can digest without killing you that gives you *some* form of nutrients is healthy food’.

I guess the definition of ‘healthy’ is pretty vague. But like…you need a balanced diet. Processed sugar and fats etc are fine as long as you balance them with dietary fibre, protein, and other essentials to enrich your gut micro biome and such.

Because in the hyperbolic world you’re describing whisky is healthy just like water is healthy but these are clearly not equivalent things. (And water doesn’t even technically have nutrients in it but you sure do need it to live!)

And no, there’s no inherent moral component to what you decide to put into your own body. But everyone has their own degree of morality. Taken to extremes, what and how much you eat will affect the way you want to live, and will affect the people close to you.

Not eating enough will starve you, and your friends and family will have to watch you become hospitalized or even die. Same thing goes for eating too much.

Extreme colitis runs in my family and although I don’t have it I stay away from excess inflammatory foods because I know something could happen to me, and I don’t want to put the burden of my health on my family if I can help it. Is that a moral decision? Would it be equally moral to eat whatever I felt like despite the risk?I guess that depends on your own moral compass.
