You Must Do Better

Hey… how are you? What’s going on inside that mind of yours? This place, we’ve been here before. Every small decision, like a drop in an ocean, Ripples into a storm. I need you to be careful, to choose wisely. We can’t afford to drown in the past.

I like you sometimes, But sometimes, I loathe you. All the money in the world, yet you stand at the gates, Hands trembling, pockets empty, Reaching but never touching. What are you not doing? Or is it me? Am I alone in this darkness? I wish I could do better. I must.

Sometimes, success feels like my birthright, Like it was whispered into my bones. But then, reality laughs in my face. Nothing is guaranteed. Not unless I reach for it, Not unless I fight for it.

So why do you let the darkness in Every time it comes knocking? You don’t even resist. You welcome it, Lay out a seat at your table, Let it feast on your soul.

Can you invite discipline instead? Let him sit beside you, Let his presence shape you. Follow his footsteps, Walk where he walks.

Or will you keep living the same day Over and over, Like a mirage flickering on the roadside? Moving but never arriving?

I want to rise, to reach beyond the sky, But I still cling to my chains, Still find comfort in my prison. Someone save me. Or should I just keep drifting?

I defeated you once, But you came back different, stronger. Will I put you down forever? I will. But will it take a second, a day, Or a lifetime? Because now, I see him every day, That ghost, that enemy, Staring back at me in the mirror.

I want to win, but winning isn’t for the weak. I crave it. I hunger for it. I want it.

Hold on. Suffer a little. Let the fire shape you. When you suffer, you prosper. When you endure, you rise.

You are not alone.

The one at the top and the one at the bottom Both started from the same place. Only choices made them different
