but maybe with stoic!reader, it's not that affection doesn’t come easily to you because you don’t feel, but because you feel too much. and the only way to cope is to stay composed or disassociate. but ofc gojo sees through it—he can tell you’re soft inside because you’re always quietly attentive.

kind of a random thought, but i really appreciate that it takes holmes a while to figure things out. if he's untangling a problem he's sitting on it for a while, there's no instantaneous bolt of lightning- and it's usually one small, but obvious detail he's missing, not some grand drawn out plot. he just needs to give himself a moment, which is something (not to project, but also yes to project) i'm having to learn being something currently unmedicated for adhd.

sometimes you just need to let it sit, or come back to it later, or whatever needs to happen. it's not going to happen in an instant, and that's okay, because it will eventually~

Very hard to pick a favourite because I love all fish, but I’ll admit that I do have a particularly soft spot for blennies. Particularly those from the genus excenius. Every time I see one I feel happy.
