our biology is different. we are built for survival, endurance, resistance. we are made to last through time. you can see this in so many aspects of female biology.

imagine how cool it would be to have our own sports that highlight our physical power properly. or like competitions last an entire month so we can compete at the appropriate phase of the cycle and we’re all judged fairly. imagine if we had different sports created on the different phases to embrace how we change in a month. i’ve got so many ideas going through my head of how it could be.

i’d like physical activity way more like this. i wanna live in a world like that.

What I imagine has happened to Lyle is that his dopamine receptors are just being blown tf out. He's as happy as he physically can be without it like, killing him.

Before he was obsessed with Sam, now its more like a severe chemical addiction. You try to separate them and he starts shaking and getting violent. Its less so that he's been 'overwritten' in some way that he could break through, and more just being blissed out of his mind in a way the clumsily intensified everything that was already wrong with him.

There is a chance he'll start coming down from the high sometime. A brain can only be barraged by that many happy chemicals for so long before they stop having the same effect, but it will take a while and I doubt it will be pleasant or clearing for him.
