Introduction: Embarking on the Journey to a Machine Learning Certification Course Online
In today's tech-driven world, Machine Learning (ML) has become a game-changer. Whether it's self-driving cars, personalized recommendations, or even your phone's voice assistant, ML is behind it all. Naturally, the demand for professionals skilled in this domain is skyrocketing. For those aiming to break into this field, obtaining a certification is a crucial first step. This is where a comprehensive AI Intelligence Course in Noida can come into play, offering the knowledge and credentials needed to stand out in a competitive job market.
Finding the right online course to get certified in ML can be overwhelming. With so many options out there, how do you choose the one that suits your goals? Do you go for a short-term course or a more intensive one? And what about the credibility of the certification? These are the questions that often swirl in the minds of aspiring ML professionals. Fear not! This blog will guide you through the essential steps to getting a machine learning certification online, making sure you don't get lost in the sea of choices.
In this guide, we will explore how to select the best online Artificial Intelligence Institute In Delhi, understand the prerequisites, and ensure that you gain the right skills to excel in the ML field. If you're looking to jump-start your ML career from the comfort of your home, read on to find out how you can achieve your certification goals efficiently and effectively.
Choosing the Right Machine Learning Certification Course
1. Understanding the Different Types of Machine Learning Courses Available Online
The first step in obtaining a machine learning certification is understanding the different types of courses available online. Machine learning courses can range from beginner to advanced levels, and they often focus on various aspects of ML, such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, or deep learning.
It's essential to assess your current skill level before enrolling in a course. If you're just starting, look for courses that offer a solid foundation in the basics of machine learning. These introductory courses typically cover essential topics such as linear regression, classification algorithms, and data preprocessing. On the other hand, if you already have some experience, you might want to consider more specialized courses that delve into advanced topics like neural networks or reinforcement learning.
For those aiming to find the best courses, searching for an Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning Course in Noida online can lead you to well-structured programs tailored to different skill levels. Just like how you wouldn’t dive into deep waters without learning to swim first, starting with the right course level will ensure you build a strong foundation before tackling more complex concepts.
2. Evaluating Course Content, Structure, and Certification Credibility
Once you have a clear understanding of the types of courses available, the next step is to evaluate the course content, structure, and credibility of the certification. A good machine learning certification course should offer a well-rounded curriculum that covers both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
Look for courses that include hands-on projects, case studies, and real-world examples. These elements not only make learning more engaging but also provide practical experience that can be invaluable when applying for jobs. Additionally, ensure that the course offers a recognized certification upon completion. Certification from reputable platforms like Coursera, edX, or Google can add significant value to your resume.
Finding an Artificial Intelligence Institute In Delhi that offers a balance between theory and practice is key to getting the most out of your learning experience. Consider the credibility of the platform and the instructors as well. After all, you wouldn’t want to invest time and money into a course only to find out that the certification holds little weight in the industry.
3. Considering Course Duration, Flexibility, and Cost
Another crucial factor to consider when choosing an online machine learning certification course is the duration, flexibility, and cost. Depending on your current commitments, you may prefer a self-paced course that allows you to study at your own pace or a more structured program with set deadlines. Additionally, the duration of the course can vary significantly, from short-term courses lasting a few weeks to comprehensive programs that take several months to complete.
When searching for an AI Intelligence Course in Noida, make sure to choose one that fits your schedule and budget. While some courses are free, others may require a significant financial investment. It's essential to weigh the cost against the potential benefits of the certification. Remember, just like investing in quality ingredients can lead to a delicious meal, investing in the right course can lead to a successful career in machine learning.
Preparing for the Course and Maximizing Learning
1. Ensuring You Meet the Prerequisites Before Enrolling in the Course
Before diving into an Artificial Intelligence Institute In Delhi, it's crucial to ensure that you meet the prerequisites. Many machine learning courses require a basic understanding of programming, particularly in languages like Python or R, as well as a solid grasp of mathematics, including linear algebra and statistics. If you're new to programming or math, consider taking introductory courses in these subjects before tackling machine learning.

Fulfilling the prerequisites will not only make the learning process smoother but also allow you to get the most out of the course content. Think of it as making sure you have all the ingredients before starting to cook a complicated recipe—you don't want to be halfway through only to realize you're missing something essential.
2. Utilizing Additional Resources to Enhance Your Learning Experience
While a good Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning Course in Noida will provide you with the necessary knowledge, it's always a good idea to supplement your learning with additional resources. Online communities, forums, and study groups can provide valuable insights and support as you progress through the course. Websites like Stack Overflow, GitHub, and Medium often have articles, tutorials, and discussions that can help you deepen your understanding of machine learning concepts.
In addition to online resources, consider reading books or watching tutorials to reinforce what you've learned. Engaging with different learning formats can help solidify your understanding and provide new perspectives on the material. Just like seasoning a dish enhances its flavor, utilizing additional resources can enrich your learning experience.
3. Gaining Practical Experience Through Projects and Challenges
One of the best ways to solidify your machine-learning knowledge is by applying it to real-world problems. Many online courses include projects as part of the curriculum, but it's also beneficial to seek out additional challenges on your own. Platforms like Kaggle and DrivenData offer competitions and datasets that allow you to test your skills and work on real-world problems.
Participating in these challenges not only helps you gain practical experience but also builds your portfolio, which can be a valuable asset when applying for jobs. If you're enrolled in an AI Intelligence Course in Noida, make sure to take full advantage of any project opportunities and seek out additional challenges to further enhance your skills.
Think of gaining practical experience as the final step in cooking a meal—you've prepared all the ingredients, followed the recipe, and now it's time to taste the finished product. By applying what you've learned to real-world problems, you'll be able to see the fruits of your labor and build the confidence needed to succeed in the field of machine learning.
Conclusion: Achieving Success with Your Machine Learning Certification Online
Embarking on the journey to obtain a machine learning certification online is an exciting and rewarding endeavor. By choosing the right course, evaluating the content, and ensuring it fits your schedule and budget, you set yourself up for success. Once enrolled, meeting the prerequisites and utilizing additional resources can further enhance your learning experience. Finally, gaining practical experience through projects and challenges will solidify your knowledge and provide a strong foundation for your future career in machine learning.
For those in India looking to get certified, enrolling in an Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning Course in Noida is a valuable step toward becoming a skilled machine learning professional. So I've been teaching people IRL how to play Dungeons and Dragons 5e for around 4 years now, and I've finally decided to start hosting online classes through startplaying.games! If you want a face-to-face (well, discord video call) meeting with an experienced player who can help you get started, you're in the right place!
Why learn to play with me?
I have a lot of experience teaching people of all experience levels, including no experience!
You don't need any materials, except a device to access the class, a discord account, and an account on startplaying.games! I provide everything for you (including a bunch of cheat-sheets and handouts for making the whole process easier).
Learn how to make a character! A lot of introductions to D&D start you with a pre-generated character, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it means you have to figure that part out on your own later. Since I think making your own character is part of the fun, I'll walk you through the whole process and teach you important mechanics along the way, making jumping into a game much easier!
Get one-on-one help and immediately have questions answered by a friendly, patient, and queer-inclusive DM! Classes are held through discord as a small group and are not pre-recorded.
Get introduced to the game in a safe, low-pressure environment with no pressure to do anything you're not ready for. Not ready to jump into roleplay immediately? No problem! Worried you'll have a hard time picking up mechanics? No sweat! I'm ready to work with you and help however I can.
This course has a no AI generated content guarantee. Everything was made completely by me, a human person!

Hey!
I majored in anth at a p awesome school for it (had a so fun class where we hands on used paleo to neo lithic techniques- from making stone tools to processing hides) but there wasn't much available for prehistoric art (+ I was a major switch from microbiology so bio anth, epidemiology and forensics stuff, made more sense with my course history). Been out of school for almost 10 years now and unfortunately doing nothing even remotely related, but I'm wanting to learn more about prehistoric art of all sorts. With search engines being overrun with AI misinfo I'm not really sure where to start other than Wikipedia. Do you have any favorite resources you'd be up for recommending?
Thanks a ton! Happy holidays, and may the new year be kind.
Hello! I should preface this with saying I am just someone with a general interest and not remotely an expert haha! Getting to do hands on stuff sounds really fun!
A lot of my reading has been restricted to Upper Palaeolithic Europe, and cave art at that, so I can't really recommend anything outside of that.
I've been concerned also with avoiding misinformation - there was a painting I saw a while ago where it was obvious the level of research involved was typing "Lascaux" into pinterest and just using whatever results came up (the art used was from Cueva de los Caballos and Mesolithic) and it's been driving me nuts. I've been sticking to books for information, almost everything I've read has been through Internet Archive, and majority are over 30 years old so could be outdated, can contradict each other, and should be noted are can be very racist.
Putting the list of everything under a read more as it's quite long, I hope there's something useful in amongst all of this! Happy holidays, I hope you have a good new year!
Books and other resources I've found useful in no particular order:
The Cave of Lascaux: The Final Photographs by Mario Ruspoli (1987) [Is on Internet Archive but currently unavailable, the German version is still up.] When Lascaux was closed to the public Mario Ruspoli was hired by the French govenment to document the entire cave on film and wrote this book afterwards. Even though it's focus is Lascaux I found it a good introduction to the topic of cave art. I have tried to find the footage online with little success so if anyone knows... do tell. This book brings you through the cave and gives a good idea of the layout and where paintings/engravings are in relation to each other. I would love if there was something like this for other caves but I'm not aware of anything 🤔
Lascaux Virtual Tour [Link here] The video isn't toally clear but it gives a good sense of the layout, and you can click the little 'i' icon to see clearer photos and get more details.
Images of the Ice Age by Paul Bahn and Jean Vertut (1988) [Internet Archive Link] This book is also a good starting point! There's also Journey Through the Ice Age which is the same book.
Cambridge Illustrated History of Cave Art by Paul Bahn (1998) [Internet Archive Link] I haven't gotten around to reading this yet but it appears to be a broader scope and not restricted to Europe.
Palaeolithic Cave Art by Peter J. Ucko and Andrée Rosenfeld (1967) The main appeal of this bok is that it goes through the different possible reasons for cave art. I had to buy a physical copy as I couldn't find it online.
Kindred: Neanderthal Life, Love, Death and Art by Rebecca Wragg Sykes (2020) [Aeon article link "Sheanderthal: Not all Neanderthals were ‘cavemen’: half were women. What can archaeologists tell us about how they lived?] Not solely focused on art but she does talk about what the neanderthals made including a large circular structure in Bruniquel Cave - there is footage of the cave in the recent netflix documentary Secrets of the Neanderthals (not great, at one point the narrator says neanderthals lived in the neolithic lmfao but the interviews with experts are interesting).
Don's Maps [Link here] Really great website. Some books will mention a painting/engraving/sculpture but no image, so my first place to check is Don's Maps as everything he includes is either from a book which will be referenced or from his own visits to caves.
The Neanderthal Museum Digital Archive [Link here] Despite the name is not exclusively Neanderthal, lots of photos of cave art in the Wendel Collection (including a photo of the one known instance of a saiga antelope in cave art that I hadn't been able to find a photo of before!).
There's also the Archaeology Podcast Network and sites like Academia.edu but I don't have any specific recommendations at present.

Software Engineer 👩🏾💻
I recently learned that you can become a Software engineer without a degree. I found a free Introduction to software engineering course on YouTube. It was created by a computer science professor and he goes over everything that a beginner needs to know and what is learned in a full semester. I also found these free Harvard courses and after you complete them you can purchase a verified certificate. The certificate will look so good an a resume and it will show that you know the material.
💌 Being a Software Engineer isn’t the only option for a high paying job without a degree. This is just the one I am choosing.
There are so many resources online but after this I will most likely enroll into a software engineering boot camp since this is what most people do. I found that there are a lot of software engineers who do not have a degree but are still making a ton of money because the work is so valuable. I learned that you can get almost any 6 figure high paying job without a degree except in the medical field. This job will not be replaced by AI which is a relief.
The starting salary for an entry level position is around 70-80k in the United States as of June 2023. Even 60k would be great but there are people making 100-250k a year as a software engineer. The people who work at the big companies make even more than that.
This is a great way to set up your financial future. Imagine being able to save $1000-$2000 a month. Imagine where you’ll be at in 10 years. You can even use this as a starting base to set your life up financially. You’ll be able to afford to live anywhere in the world especially if you get a remote job. Places like San Diego, New York, London or Hawaii. You can afford the cost of living. You can afford to live in any of the major cities and have a really comfortable life. You will have lots of money that you’ll be able to multiply. You’ll actually be able to save up for a house and have actual money to invest. So many opportunities will be available to you. You can live below your means in the best way possible.
Personally I’ve always wanted to live by the beach in a city. By this time next year I’ll be living in a new city with a great high paying job. My current job will look amazing on my resume because I work side by side with engineers and technicians on a daily basis at a reputable company so I can totally jazz up my resume to sound really good. Which totally counts as ✨experience✨. I’ve been working here for a couple of years now which will look even better because it shows longevity.
I definitely plan on moving to San Diego or Hawaii next year when my lease is up. I will update y’all in a week on my progress.

How can technology negatively impact as AI continues to progress?
With artificial intelligence growing and many other similar platforms being released I think it will bring lots of uncertainty to older generations and low-income families as some are unable to keep up with the technological updates or simply can't afford advanced technology devices being released today. Especially with many jobs relying on artificial intelligence to store or collect information of others personal information. “Though these systems have the most destructive and deadly effects on low-income communities of color, they impact poor and working-class people across the color line.” (Eubanks,2018). As Eubanks pointed out many people don't become aware they are being targeted by mistakes the system made leading to many employees not listening to your concerts because they simply “ trust the system” not taking into consideration the system might have made a mistake. This can negatively impact minority communities since it could leave them without essential resources due to system errors.
Are people supportive of cyber feminism?
Over the years, we have collectively evolved to be more inclusive of women and minorities. Some places are more than others, of course, but there are still many people who have pushed away from cyber-feminism. But many people do not notice. Many jobs today pay women less while their male co-worker gets paid more for the same position, but they don't know since the company does not disclose the information. Many women in tech are more likely to be harassed at their male-dominated jobs and are often ignored when they seek help. Many jobs promote being inclusive to women so that they look good to the public, but they are often ignorant. This also applies to many people's beliefs, especially parents who often restrict their children from having an interest in sports, toys, and characters that are socially viewed for a particular gender.
Do we practice cyber feminism today?
I think we do practice cyberfeminism today since we see more employers hire women for important roles in the tech industry. Many women who work in these male dominated roles often advocate for younger girls and spread awareness of their accomplishments to motivate the youth of girls to show them that women can be incharge in the world of technology. I feel like in the past many girls were restricted from technology, especially from devices due to the stigma that it was something for boys. For example a console not being given to girls because it was seen as a male toy, I personally was affected by this constructed idea when I was younger.
Another example would be the women in the car industry who are overseen due to the idea of women being unable to have knowledge of cars.
Is the algorithm being used against us?
I have always loved how accurate the algorithm has been when it comes to understanding my humor and pushing videos that I enjoy on my feed. But I had never thought about how it could be used against me or how it's been used against me in the past. This not only applies to me but also to many other people. We are being watched by companies that can see what we enjoy or what we are most likely to take in, and this could lead to an intake of misinformation. “Online community neighbor apps such as NextDoor and Ring devolve into fear-based racial profiling community mobs” (Nicole Brown,2020). As Nicole Brown explained, many people are being targeted on apps without having actual evidence just due to an assumption. Then others will believe the person posting the post created a group of misinformed people. Companies could also use the algorithm to push ads to sell us products we don't need or even push political ideas we are most likely to fall for.

How the Metaverse Could Help Education Grow
Introduction
Education is undergoing rapid transformation thanks to emerging technologies, and the metaverse is poised to be a game-changer. But what exactly is the metaverse, and how can it contribute to the growth and improvement of education worldwide?
In this article, we’ll explore how the metaverse can revolutionize learning by making it more immersive, interactive, and accessible — transforming classrooms beyond physical boundaries.
What is the Metaverse?
The metaverse is a virtual, interconnected digital universe where users interact through avatars in 3D environments. It combines elements of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain to create realistic simulations and social experiences.
Unlike traditional online learning, the metaverse offers fully immersive educational environments that can simulate real-world or entirely new scenarios.
Ways the Metaverse Could Help Education Grow
1. Immersive Learning Experiences
Students can engage with subjects by stepping into virtual environments:
Explore ancient civilizations by walking through digital reconstructions of historical sites.
Conduct science experiments safely in virtual labs.
Visualize complex concepts like molecular structures or planetary systems in 3D.
This active learning helps improve retention and makes education exciting.
2. Remote Accessibility and Inclusivity
With the metaverse, students from remote or underserved areas can attend virtual schools, removing geographical barriers. It can also better support students with disabilities by customizing experiences to their needs.
3. Collaborative Virtual Classrooms
Instead of passively watching lectures, students can collaborate in real time within virtual classrooms — brainstorming on shared whiteboards, participating in group projects, or attending virtual office hours.
4. Gamification and Motivation
Educational games and quests embedded in the metaverse keep students motivated and engaged, turning learning into an enjoyable challenge rather than a chore.
5. Practical Skill Training
The metaverse can simulate real-world environments for vocational training — such as medical surgeries, mechanical repairs, or architectural design — allowing students to practice without risks or costs.

Benefits of Using the Metaverse in Education
Enhanced Engagement: Immersive environments capture attention better than textbooks or videos.
Better Understanding: Visual and interactive learning aids complex subject comprehension.
Personalized Learning: Virtual environments can adapt to individual student pace and style.
Global Classroom: Learners worldwide can connect, share ideas, and collaborate.
Cost-Effective Training: Virtual simulations reduce the need for expensive physical resources.
Challenges to Consider
While promising, metaverse-based education faces challenges such as:
Technology Access: Not all students have VR headsets or reliable internet.
Training Educators: Teachers need skills to design and deliver virtual lessons effectively.
Privacy Concerns: Protecting student data in immersive platforms is critical.
Content Quality: Ensuring accurate, unbiased, and high-quality educational content.
Real-World Examples
Universities like Stanford and Harvard are experimenting with virtual campuses and immersive courses.
Platforms like Engage and Virbela offer metaverse spaces for education and training.

Stay Up to Date: The Value of Ongoing Education in Stock Market Classes

Introduction
It’s interesting how older investors always look for new knowledge. This is because the stock market is always active and known for never staying the same. On one day, it appears to be going up, but the next, it can dip in price like a fast roller coaster. If things move this fast, being updated is not a choice—it’s absolutely important. If you want to be in the know and keep earning from stock trading, make sure to keep studying Stock trading all the time in the best stock market classes in Pune.
Understanding Stock Market Education
What is meant by Stock Market Education?
When people think about the stock market, the first thing they hear is: “Buy low, sell high.”
This means: Buy a stock when the price is low, and sell it when the price goes up—so you can make a profit.
However, real stock market education extends far beyond this line.
It’s about understanding how the market works, how prices go up and down, how news and world events affect stocks, and how people behave while investing.
It teaches you how to make smart decisions, manage risk, and grow your money the right way.
Who Can Benefit from It and Why?
Do you believe stock trading is meant only for skilled financiers or high-powered bankers? Think again. Many entrepreneurs, retirees, college students, and those who stay at home are investing in the stock market. Why? Knowing how money grows gives you more control over your money.
Learning traditions compared to learning used today
In the past, students had to put up with boring lectures and bulky textbooks. At present, there are YouTube videos, webinars, apps, and platforms for traders that allow you to connect socially. Studying has become more fun, flexible, and suits the needs of each learner.
The Ever-Changing Nature of the Stock Market
Frequent changes and trends in the market
Markets respond to economic reports, political elections, major international issues, and online comments. That’s the reason why yesterday’s plan may not be effective today. Gaining knowledge allows you to adjust faster to changes in the market.
Technological Advances
The rules behind trading are now being recreated by AI and machine learning. If you fail to learn about them, you risk being behind. Taking more classes helps you use the latest tools instead of ones that are no longer modern.
Changes in regulations and events worldwide
A range of external events, such as higher interest rates and conflicts, influence the stock market daily. These classes give you knowledge on adjusting your strategy to fit new changes in policies and situations.
Why Ongoing Education is Crucial
Staying Ahead of Market Trends
Education helps you anticipate rather than react. Learn the signs of a bull or bear market before the media catches on.
Learning New Investment Tools
New platforms, tools, and indicators pop up constantly. Keeping your skills fresh means making smarter, more efficient trades.
Adapting to Algorithmic and AI Trading
The rise of bots and automated trading systems means you need to know how they work—and how to compete or leverage them.
Advantages of Regularly Learning New Things
Improved Decision-Making
Having more knowledge gives us better choices. Knowing how investing works decreases the chances that you’ll be fooled by the crowd.
Plans for reducing various risks
If you know how to hedge, diversify, and wait for the best time to enter the market, your savings may be protected from a crash.
Handling the Variety of Market Conditions
Being educated allows an investor to handle uncertainty with ease. You will have the tools to face inflation, an economic recession, or even a crash in the world of cryptocurrency.
Types of Stock Market Courses Available Today
Beginner to Advanced Level Courses
Online vs Offline Learning
Certifications and Professional Courses
How to Choose the Right Course for You
Establish Definite Learning Goals
Which skill or knowledge are you interested in gaining? Day trading? Value investing? Decide on what you want to achieve before anything else.
Check the Reliability of Educators
Make sure the traders, professionals, or certified educators you choose are active in the market.
Look at How Flexible and Accessible It Is
Pay attention to how the course will match with your daily schedule. On-demand videos? Weekend workshops? Try something that fits your lifestyle.
Gaining guidance and experience from experienced professionals
Study of Real-Life Examples
The ideas shared by experts tend to be more applicable than the information in textbooks. Seeing what works and what doesn’t for them is like getting a golden lesson.
Being part of professional networks
The correct course links you to a group of traders who share advice, useful information, and chances for success.
Practical Applications of Stock Market Education
Creating a Successful Portfolio
Manage your risks and gains wisely like someone who knows what they are doing. A good educational background allows you to develop a reliable portfolio.
Day trading vs investing for the long term
Be sure to tell them apart and choose the one that helps you achieve your goals and stay within your risk limits.
Diversification Strategies
Understand the risks of putting all your money into one place and find out how to invest your funds more prudently.
Integrating Education with Real-Time Trading Tools
Using Simulation Platforms
Before using real money, you can practice in a safe way using simulation platforms (also called demo accounts).
These platforms work just like real stock markets but without any risk.
You can test your strategies, learn from mistakes, and gain confidence—without losing actual money.
Combining Theory with Practice
Don’t just read or watch videos—try what you learn.
Take notes during classes or tutorials, and use those ideas in a demo account.
This way, you turn knowledge into experience and slowly get ready for real trading.
Common Mistakes to Avoid in Stock Market Learning
Outdated Resources
Was that the course you took in 2005? Well, looking at everything, it doesn’t seem to pass. Use learning materials that are modern and up-to-date.
Assuming You Know Everything
Just having a few accomplishments doesn’t make you an expert. Constant learning makes you remain humble and sharp.
Far too often, people ignore risk and their emotions.
Stock trading requires you to be mentally prepared. Handling emotions is as important to managers as making calculations.
Learning Should Be Ongoing To Benefit In The Long Run
The more topics you understand, the better your earnings can be.
If you want to earn better in the stock market, you need to keep learning.
The more topics you understand—like strategies, risk management, and market trends—the better your chances of making smart decisions.
Just like saving money grows over time, learning also adds up slowly and gives you more power to grow your money.
A Mindset for Continuous Learning
The stock market keeps changing, and that means your learning should never stop.
It’s good to trust your instincts sometimes, but it’s even better to keep gaining new knowledge.
Keep reading, exploring, and updating yourself regularly—because that’s what helps you grow and earn in the long run.
How Successful Traders Embrace Lifelong Learning
Stories of Top Investors
One of the greatest investors in the world, Warren Buffett, for instance, reads and learns for around 80% of the day. That demonstrates the true power of knowledge.
Books, Podcasts, and Workshops They Follow
Top traders often read books like “The Intelligent Investor”, listen to finance podcasts, or attend online webinars and TED Talks to stay updated.
They never stop learning—and that’s one big reason why they stay successful.

INTRODUCTION
Hi!! My name is Lizzie! Figured it was time I introduced myself!
Age: I’m 18
Where I live: I’m from South England
Pronouns: She/her
Sexuality: Lesbian
Who am I?
I’ve been a fan of Stranger Things since 2018, and a Byler truther since 2022.
Id say i’m someone who values, above all else, kindness, humour and creativity. If there’s anything i want to achieve online or offline, it’s to appreciate the people in my life more and encourage others to always be curious! The most valuable answers are the ones that invite more questions.
My hobbies include painting/drawing (specifically portraiture - I use oil paints, watercolour, gouache and pencil — i really want to get into digital art also!), skateboarding, knitting/crochet/sewing, writing, reading, editing, vlogging, and listening to spotify like my life depends on it!
Some little things I love:
byler
The sighs my dog makes like he lives a hard life
garden spiders
old videos
my parents
rain and thunder
my bedroom
Sci-fi and science
retro technology
lace
urban decay
jewellery
the colour pink
my queer friends
my straight friends who really don’t get it but have my back anyway
Things i hate:
generative AI.
any and all forms of discrimination
media illiteracy
YT: @lizbetlovestolove
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/user/31enezmoygjn7vcsfkpasocxubb4?si=sQNoc1WfSKqYE8rqkHcyLg
Tiktok: @ lou_2111 and @ lizbetlovesbyler
I’m somebody who has struggled with a lot of comphet and internalised homophobia in the past, especially so in the last year, so a lot of my work on here is inspired by that experience and the value of acknowledging it.
My blog mainly focuses on Stranger Things (specifically Byler) but there are other fandoms you may see me indulge in/reference from time to time!
Film
The Black Phone
The Hunger Games
The Goldfinch
TV
Stranger Things
Squid Game
Anne With an E
Alice in Borderland
IANOWT
The Last of Us (game also!)
Black Mirror
Comic/Animated Media
The Promised Neverland
Heartstopper
Attack on Titan
Into/Across the Spiderverse
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory
The Owl House
Amphibia
If you couldn’t tell, I’m a SUCKER for queer/queercoded media and media with social commentary. I believe film and television today hold upmost power in influencing pop culture and politics, which is what makes analysing media so important to me. (Especially with BIG shows)
I’m currently in the middle of my A-level exams (English end-of-school exams) for Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I take the most interest in Physics, largely influenced by my early obsession with Sci-fi (Star Trek, Dr. Who and – of course – Stranger Things), and I hope to begin my integrated masters in the subject next year. I never have, nor plan to, take any legitimate classes or courses on film, film history or film media, a lot of my ideas are influenced by what i’ve learnt online in my free time.
Most of my work will include fanart (once i can afford a new laptop), fanfic, analyses and general shitposts/memes.
I hope to become a lot more active once my exams are done - they feel like they’re going on foreverrrr.
Always open to DMs and Asks!
Thanks for visiting my blog!

AI and the value of labour (but only if it's yours)
Few of you have missed the whole AI/AI-art/ChatGPT-debate by now and even though few have the technical literacy to actually know what it is and its implementations, it hasn't stopped people from having opinions on it, and wow they sure are Opinions. It's mainly about how it's art-theft and will put already struggling artists out of business because now there's a chance that their dandelion found in a deviantart furry artwork they made using GIMP once will now be seen made sort of in the same style on a 250x250 pixel generated picture from a free online generator. And now I'm going to be snarky about it but also highlight a problem seen from the other end of this - the value of labour, and I'm not talking about the artists labour here.
But first let's look back a little bit for some well-needed perspective:
The logic for this is nothing we haven't seen before; you can't copy art and have it made available for just everyone to use like this! In the early 2000's it put musicians out of business and destroyed music forever with the introduction of napster. Pirate bay is why movies no longer are being made. It has destroyed art as we know it when people tauntingly right-clicked on a cryptobro's NFT and clicked "save as" (which I assume is also very problematic for the people who are vehemently against AI art? It's a literal 1-to-1 copy of your work). Media corporations are dying because intellectual properties are no longer protected under the copyright laws after 70 or so years. In the 90's there was even some video star who literally murdered a radio star. With the introduction of vinyl, it even killed live music forever.
So technology has been destroying just about all forms of art as we know it for a while now and each time it's the same doomsday predictions from the newly formed kind of art-christianity where some art has soul (Good, Skilled Laboured artists) and others hasn't (Evil, of course).
Now for the informative part of the post:
In the 1970's, computers as we know them today began forming, and with it, the value of a computer programmers skill and labour. Alongside with this, they saw a growing problem: Corporations owned everything they made, and corporations will also have the whole say about what will be present on a computer and the price of everything present on it.
This was not very appreciated by neither the programmers, and nor the customers (although few saw this growing problem coming). So in a weird twist of fate, programmers became one of the most left-wing labour-rights occupation you could find by forming Free Software Foundation, GNU, and essentially setting the stage for you to be able to use the free GIMP software instead of buying a staggering price for Adobe's Photoshop. It enabled you to download firefox instead of buying a copy of internet explorer. Because yes, before this kind of software activism formed, and the general environment of software development became to make it as freely available as possible - and having an outright despise for corporations like Novell and Microsoft for taking such huge amount of money to their own pockets instead of the developers, literally every piece of software cost money. A LOT of money.
This kind of 100% for free software usage we're used to has also led to us no longer being appreciative of the work and skill that goes behind keeping a software not only developed and updated continuously for decades, but also spending money on keeping it hosted and delivered to you for free. We even joke and scoff about the mere thought of having to pay 0.99 Euro for an app we'd use daily and a developer spent 2 years in the making. Meanwhile, when someone offers to pay someone merely 10 euro or so for a handmade blanket, there's an outrage about the value of labour and skill. And rightfully so! I support that, and so should you, even if it's labour that you weren't the one making.
And it doesn't end there either - we all know corporations has no trouble finding new ways to charge you money. Organisations like Free Software Foundation, various Linux projects and Mozilla have campaigned for a freer usage in general, leading to fair-use laws, campaigning for the right to repair your technology instead of having to buy new one all the time, as well as preventing corporations from banning every other piece of software on a computer that they don't want you to have (from a competitor or free alternative of their software).
I mentioned Adobe specifically, because in the wave of anti-AI-art outcry, artists are campaigning for a ban on making software that uses other peoples artistic similarities (not copies mind you, similarities, meaning making it a copyright infringement to have art that is similar to yours, since that's what AI-art algorithms create), and I'm sure right off the bat many of you can see the huge problem with that, but Adobe sure isn't. They're also gladly in on this, because that would mean that free alternatives of Photoshop like GIMP would also become a copyright infringement. So would a lot of our other free software we use daily and take for granted.
That's all I wanted to say about this I think. The TL;DR version is basically to value labour even if it isn't yours, and to not take it for granted. As a final part to remember about AI is that it is a tool, and like any tool it can be used for good or evil. AI is what made it possible for us to make sense of the large hadron collider data and made enormous leaps in scientific discovery in just a few years, that would otherwise had taken 500 years to sort through by humans, and with a much higher rate of error.

VS AMBIVALENZ 2nd ; EP.2 Kratzspuren of Light FIRST PART [ENG Translation]

video form on youtube | official vsa channel’s video
In order to maintain a fair audition, the VS AMBIVALENZ 2nd Documentary Drama will be published utilizing automatic editing via state-of-the-art AI. Please understand that there may be cases where the video footage becomes distorted.
Luvnosuke: This is the lesson room…
Luvnosuke: The bedrooms…
Meguru: The bathroom is rather large as well.
Luvnosuke: The laundry room is here too…!
Luvnosuke: And this is the dining room…
Riam: To think that this kinda place is underground—
Luvnosuke: Amazing! This is the Internat from the Documentary Drama!
Hiromi: That’s what you’re surprised by, huh?
Luvnosuke: This is that Internat, you know?
Luvnosuke: This is a holy pilgrimage, you know?
Akashi: Holy?
Akashi: Is this a place affiliated with some particular religion?
Shimba: Hahaha!
Shimba: Do you want someone to snap back to that?
Mikera: The interior design’s been renovated quite a bit.
Luvnosuke: IKR…
Luvnosuke: Even though there was no need to renovate anything.
Luvnosuke: I wanted to take a selfie with the past candidate’s scratched up walls and stained floors…
Kyouya: I’d rather things be clean…
Luvnosuke: Hah?
Kyouya: !?
Luvnosuke: Kidding, kidding, it’s just a joke♡
Luvnosuke: C’mon, it’s about time we did that.
Riam: That?
Luvnosuke: We’re in the dining room, so it’s that, you know, that!
Cate: Woahh~!
Cate: The kitchen, it’s huge, huuuge!
Luvnosuke: Yes! There, there!
Luvnosuke: I wanna see over there too!
Riam: What’s with this skit?
Akashi: These are the lines Cuc-senpai and Taiyo-senpai said at 1:23 in episode 1 of the VS AMBIVALENZ Documentary Drama.
Meguru: You are quite knowledgeable about this.
Akashi: I did exhaustive research of all relevant information regarding the audition I was to attend in advance.
Akashi: This much is simply common sense.
Riam: Huuh?
Mikera: …!
Mikera: Hold up, you definitely went too far there.
Akashi: Huh?
Kyouya: There are some things that you shouldn’t say even if they’re true.
Kyouya: My big brother told me that.
Mikera: You should know that if you saw the first documentary drama, right?
Mikera: Both the candidates for red and white got into fights because of seemingly innocuous comments like that, so we have to be careful.
Meguru: Hoh…
Meguru: So the documentary drama covered those sorts of contents.
Meguru: That seems rather interesting.
Riam: *Sigh*…
Riam: Common sense…
Riam: Common sense, huh.
Everyone: !
Riam: Well, guess that’s true too.
Riam: Coming here without doing any research in advance is probably crazy of me, huh…
Everyone: …
Riam: ?
Riam: What?
Mikera: Well…
Mikera: I just didn’t think you’d accept it so readily.
Riam: Huh? Why?
Akashi: You’re more honest than I expected for someone who does hip-hop.
Mikera: Hey, I’m telling you, you really need to filter yourself!
Mikera: Not to mention, you’re being way too prejudiced against hip-hop!
Riam: No, seriously.
Riam: What’s with you, you’ve been naggin’ us since we got here.
Luvnosuke: That’s your fault.
Luvnosuke: You threw all those lyrics into the self-introduction video, of course we’re gonna think you’re a hugely annoying weirdo!
Riam: A weirdo, you say… I could say the same thing about you!
Luvnosuke: Hah? Who are—
Luvnosuke: !
Luvnosuke: I can’t, that’s no good.
Riam: ?
Luvnosuke: The kind and considerate Ainosuke-kyun will teach you all about it.
Luvnosuke: The final audition of Vivalenz is streamed online as a documentary drama.
Luvnosuke: This was kept secret from the participants during S1.
Luvnosuke: However, it’s different for S2.
Riam: What’s different?
Luvnosuke: You’re so slow.
Luvnosuke: We already know that they’re streaming a documentary drama, don’t we?
Riam: HUH!?
Riam: This is being live streamed!?
Meguru: Oho! So we are being streamed right now?
Luvnosuke: Though I guess there’s some people here who didn’t know…
Luvnosuke: Anyways!
Luvnosuke: That is to say that it can’t be made under the same conditions as S1!
Riam: So, why—
Shimba: In the first season, since the candidates didn’t know they were being streamed, Glanz could decide on how to vote after seeing them act without pretense.
Shimba: But…
Mikera: In the second season, given that we already know about this, we can keep showing off only the sides of ourselves that we want people to see.
Kyouya: Um, meaning…
Hiromi: Meaning that we can keep parts of ourselves hidden.
Hiromi: The hidden sides of our personalities that would be inconvenient to reveal in this audition, for example.
Riam: Hidden sides…
Luvnosuke: Well, that’s pretty much it♡
Cate: It’s okay⭐︎
Cate: We can just talk about fun things!
Cate: Cate can do it!
Meguru: Speaking of which, from where to where exactly will we be streamed?
Akashi: What do you mean… from where to where?
Kyouya: In the bath!?
Kyouya: In the bathroom…!?
Akashi: Using the restroom aside, going into the bath would…
Akashi: Depend on the situation, I suppose.
Luvnosuke: I welcome them recording my bathing with open arms⭐︎
Luvnosuke: It’s all fanservice⭐︎
Inamoto: There is no need to worry.
Cate: HIYEH…!
Kyouya: Since when…
Luvnosuke: Amazing!
Luvnosuke: It’s the Vivalenz classic where Inamoto-san appears out of nowhere!
Luvnosuke: Seeing it happen in the flesh makes me so happy~!
Mikera: Huh.
Mikera: You’re happy about that…?
Inamoto: I’m grateful.
Inamoto: By the way, everyone.
Shimba: ?
Shimba: Why’re you pointing at our feet?
Hiromi: !?
Hiromi: Wh— Are you okay?
Monet: Zz… Zzz…
Hiromi: He’s sleeping…?
Mikera: Huh? Since when?
Mikera: He was awake when we got here, right?
Cate: Poke, poke…
Cate: Heyy, wake up, wake up!
Monet: !
Monet: The documentary drama!
Monet: I watched all of it…
Monet: Zz… Zzz…
Mikera: C’mon…
Mikera: Don’t go back to sleep after you've managed to wake up…
Mikera: Hey, you over there.
Mikera: Kyouya.
Kyouya: !
Kyouya: Me…!?
Mikera: This guy is your rival for the black position, yeah?
Mikera: Do something about him.
Kyouya: Like what…
Shimba: Alright! Stand up straight!
Shimba: ‘Kay, you take him!
Kyouya: Please walk properly…!
Hiromi: The scarlet duo are great at managing the situation.
Cate: Riiight~
Cate: Cate is great at chatting!
Hiromi: Hahaha…
Meguru: Hiromi and Cate, you two are emerald, yes?
Meguru: It seems you will get along rather swimmingly.
Hiromi: Umm…
Hiromi: What exactly do you mean by that?
Meguru: I mean exactly that.
Meguru: Do you disagree?
Cate: Nope!
Cate: Cate and Hiromi will totally be great friends!
Cate: Meguru and Akashi, you navys will totally be great friends too!
Akashi: Great friends?
Hiromi: Great friends… Well…
Hiromi: Is that okay?
Cate: Do you not wanna be friends?
Hiromi: It’s not that I don’t want to…
Akashi: It’s okay for us to not get along in the first place, so there’s no need to be friends with anyone.
Akashi: At the end of the day, we’re rivals, after all.
Cate: Oh…
Meguru: Hm, I see.
Meguru: So that’s how my rival plans to approach our situation.
Inamoto: I do apologize.
Inamoto: May I return to the topic at hand?
Hiromi: Oh, I’m sorry.
Hiromi: Please, go ahead.
Inamoto: Thank you very much.
Inamoto: Just a bit ago, you were worrying about what exactly would be streamed in the documentary drama, but please do not worry.
Inamoto: Not all happenings here will be streamed.
Inamoto: Please look here.
Inamoto: This is Cut-kun, a highly efficient editing AI developed by REISEN Productions and Tailwind Office.
Cut-kun: All sensitive material will be cut in a flash!
Cut-kun: I’m Cut-kun!
Cut-kun: The footage will get distorted sometimes!
Cut-kun: At your service!
Inamoto: Thanks to having watched the first season in advance and understanding the nature of these documentary dramas, you candidates might hold back in your behavior.
Inamoto: The solution to that is—
Cate: Cut-kun…?
Inamoto: Correct.
Inamoto: This editing AI, Cut-kun, was trained using the first documentary drama and social media information without sparing any expenses.
Inamoto: That is to say, Cut-kun is a specialized editing AI responsible for properly cutting out sensitive circumstances from the VS AMBIVALENZ Documentary Drama.
Inamoto: The only parts that will be broadcasted will be the information necessary for Glanz to use for their votes.
Mikera: So, you’re saying that we don’t really need to wear a mask and we should just behave like we normally do?
Inamoto: Precisely that.
Luvnosuke: The heck, I was worried for nothing.
Hiromi: Yeah.
Akashi: Worry?
Akashi: You mean to say that you have some kind of side you don’t want people to see, Ainosuke-san, Hiromi-san?
Hiromi: Huh? No, that’s not…
Luvnosuke: What a nasty way to ask that.
Luvnosuke: I don’t have anything like that.
Akashi: I didn’t mean…
Akashi: I apologize.
Akashi: It seems my wording was improper.
Shimba: Well, I doubt anyone would think to appear double-faced, yeah?
Mikera: Not worrying about it might be the best we can do.
Mikera: Like Inamoto-san said, sensitive things will cut themselves out.
Riam: Well…
Riam: That’s true.
Inamoto: Moving on, this is for you all.
Meguru: ?
Riam: A phone?
Luvnosuke: That’s…!
Inamoto: Your lives as idol trainees will, essentially, be made public through social media posts.
Inamoto: This phone is for that purpose.
Meguru: Only one?
Inamoto: Yes.
Inamoto: You all will share this one phone.
Riam: And what about my phone? The one you took at the entrance.
Riam: You’re still not gonna give it back?
Luvnosuke: LMAO~!
Luvnosuke: That’s the stuff you ask when you don’t know anything, huh~?
Riam: HAH?
Luvnosuke: Ah, sorry. Go on, go on.
Inamoto: Allow me to explain.
Inamoto: While you are here, all contact with the outside world apart from your activity on social media is prohibited.
Kyouya: Huh…!
Kyouya: Even calling and texting…!?
Riam: EVEN STICKERS!?
Inamoto: Yes.
Meguru: Hahaha!
Meguru: Is that not practically imprisonment?
Kyouya: Huh, so the final audition is that kinda thing?
Kyouya: We can’t contact the outside world…
Luvnosuke: Haa~~~ This is the best!♡
Luvnosuke: Even though the people are different, to see this historic back-and-forth in person…
Luvnosuke: I’m sooo glad I joined Vivalenz!
Riam: What are you on about? You’ve been making a racket this whole time.
Luvnosuke: Soz, soz♡
Luvnosuke: As an otaku, I can’t NOT comment on how this is going down.
Luvnosuke: Then after this, wouldn’t it be great if we all get together and decide on chore duties and make pancakes when we’re hungry and trip on the wires and get covered in flour and then have a fight?
Inamoto: That brings back memories.
Inamoto: It happened just as you said.
Riam: Chore duties? Covered in flour?
Meguru: Has it already been set in stone that we will fight as well?
Mikera: What’s it called when that happens, again?
Hiromi: Oh, like when you leave someone you just met behind?
Hiromi: If I’m not wrong, that’s…
Monet: A canon event…!
Monet: ZZzzz……
Mikera: That’s it…!
Hiromi: It’s a little different.
Luvnosuke: Oh! What should we do about the commemorative photo?
Luvnosuke: Y’know! You took one with everyone, right?!
Luvnosuke: Saying Ambivalen—Z!
Inamoto: Before that.
Shimba & Mikera: ?
Inamoto: Would you all gather in the Center Hall once more?
ーGLITCH
Riam: ?
Riam: What?
Luvnosuke: To think someone like you would be my rival.
Riam: What’s that mean?
Luvnosuke: Oh, nothing.
ーGLITCH
Luvnosuke: But I’m glad~
Luvnosuke: My opponent is one of the losers, so I have a huge advantage.
Riam: You…!
Riam: You sure it’s fine to talk about that?
ーGLITCH
Riam: Isn’t this conversation being streamed?
Luvnosuke: It’s fine.
Luvnosuke: Cut-kun will do something about it, yeah?
ーGLITCH
Luvnosuke: Ahhh, now that I know stuff is gonna be edited and that my rival is a non-otaku, I feel like I’m the only pick for this~
Luvnosuke: The orange position is all mine♡
Riam: …!
ーGLITCH
Inamoto: Thank you for gathering here once again.
Inamoto: I will now tell you all about a special event we have prepared exclusively for VS AMBIVALENZ 2nd.
Luvnosuke: An event?
Luvnosuke: There’s something else besides Cut-kun?
Inamoto: There is someone who we would like to introduce to you all.
Shimba: What the, the ceiling…!
Hiromi: It’s lowering…
Cate: There’s someone there…?
Luvnosuke: !
Luvnosuke: The people you want us to meet are…!
Riam: Seriously…!?
Subaru: It’s nice to meet you.
Subaru: I’m XlamV’s Subaru. I was a candidate in VS AMBIVALENZ 1st.
Taiyo: Heya!
Taiyo: I’m fun4re’s Taiyo, I was also a candidate!
Shimba: Previous candidates, you say?
Mikera: Why are they here?
Subaru: We’re here to serve as mentors for all of you new candidates.
Monet: Mentors…?
Inamoto: Mentors are meant to become role models to guide new talents and young people, play a role in their individual growth, and offer mental support.
Inamoto: The original candidates from the first season have been called here to serve as guides for your way forward.
Riam: CALLED HERE!?
Riam: Why on earth are you doing whatever—
Luvnosuke: Why on earth would you do such a–
Luvnosuke: Ah, no…
Luvnosuke: What I’m trying to say is…
Luvnosuke: Why on earth are you surprising us like this all of a sudden?
Luvnosuke: Ehehe…
Subaru: We apologize for catching you off guard.
Subaru: We look forward to working with you for this short time.
Taiyo: We’re looking forward to it!
Taiyo: Oh, right!
Taiyo: Futaba asked me to take a picture of you guys!
Subaru: Are you going to take it?
Taiyo: Oh, is that bad?
Inamoto: Leave it to me.
Inamoto: Now then, let’s do it.
Inamoto: VS AMBIVALEN…
Everyone: Z!
ーGLITCH
Luvnosuke: Why… Why is that person here?
Riam: Why… Why is that guy here?
ーGLITCH
Luvnosuke: He’s the one…
Riam: That’s the only guy…
ーGLITCH
Riam & Luvnosuke: I absolutely didn’t want to meet…

A warm welcome to everyone who's discovering Paranatellonta after Worldcon 2024 in Glasgow, and to everyone who's been here for a long time and may be rediscovering this project now!
For a quick introduction, we are Fie and Minerva. Fie's photos have been inspiring Minerva's 10-sentence stories since August 2013. We were initially inspired to pick up this concept because we were admiring Erin Morgenstern and Carey Farrell's Flax-golden Tales.
The main page will lead you to the newest stories, the chronological page will show you where we started in 2013, and the random button will let the fates decide to which of our 380+ stories you'll be led. We cannot promise that all of them are equally amazing, but we do promise a new edition on every 1st and 15th day of the month. (Up until October 2017, we had one every week!) All of those editions can be accessed here for free.
(Of course we do ask you to mention our names and link to the original if you are telling your friends about this, and none of these materials can be used for generative AI learning or financial gain.)
Minerva was on the Worldcon 2024 panel "Flash Fiction: The Art of Storytelling in Under 1,000 Words", moderated by Stephen Granade, with Aimee Ogden, Istvan Vizvary, and @microsff as fellow panellists. The panel talked a little about experimental forms, so among the most recent Paranatellonta stories Minerva would recommend Edition 372 (Extract from "A Travel Guide to the Fairy Realm"), Edition 366 (story in poem format), and Edition 364 (dialogue) as examples of that. As our photographer has a cat, there are also quite a few cat pov stories to be found!
For those who want to find the flash piece Minerva recommended at the end of the panel, that was @avakellyfiction's claustrophobic love story "Silence, Entwined" from queer horror anthology Neon Horror.
Ava Kelly was also the guest photographer and writer for Paranatellonta's fifth and tenth anniversary. They are the author of the beautiful book Alia Terra: Stories from the Dragon Realm, illustrated by @mspencerdraws.
In case you're curious about reading longer work by Minerva, xyr queer fairy tale novella The Dragon of Ynys came out with Atthis Arts in 2020, and xyr website is the place to keep an eye on for news.
Among the flash fiction pieces recommended by the other panellists were The God of Arepo (Tumblr, 2018), The Night the River Meets the Sky (Fireside Fiction, 2022), and Good (Flash Fiction Online). An additional recommendation from the audience was Litany in the Heart of Exorcism (Flash Fiction Online).
We also recommend Small Wonders magazine, co-edited by Stephen Granade, for more SFF flash fiction and poetry.
Enjoy all these flashes of imagination! We hope you, too, will be inspired. Thank you for being here!
