Repost for the tags: The JaegerCon Michigan meetup will be held in Grand Rapids, Saturday August 10th at high noon! Meet at the Schuler Books at 3165 Alpine Ave (just north of I-96 exit 30) for cosplay shenanigans, games, and fanwork brainstorming, with a possible screening of Pacific Rim, then food at a tasty restaurant to follow.

Even if you can’t make it, please pass this post along so Pacific Rim fans in the area can find out about the meetup. If you plan to attend, email me (vensre @ gmail) to confirm, so I can contact people if plans change unexpectedly and also so I know how many donuts to bring.

ASHEVILLE JAEGERCON MEETUP

Okay so. This is VERY TENTATIVE, what with mary and myself having a part in organising this whole con (AND THEREFORE BEING VERY BUSY), but goddamnit I need to see this movie again.

If the Carmike over by Target is still showing Pacific Rim on SUNDAY AUGUST 11th, Would anyone in the Asheville, NC area want to join us? I know there are a handful of people that were interested, but are there any more? LET ME KNOW. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE PACIFIC RIM WITH YOU.

We would aim for the 1pm screening, but we can shift to the 4pm if needed!

Singapore Jaegercon Meetups

MEETUP #1- 7th August, Wednesday, 3pm at Harbourfront MRT

We will be seeing the 4pm screening of Pacific Rim. $8.50 per ticket. You can send me an ask and I will answer privately with my phone number. Please identify yourself in a text once you have received my number. If you are uncomfortable with sharing numbers with someone, you can look out for the girl in a black T-shirt with 'LOVE' in large white lettering. I will be waiting in the MRT station until 3.30pm before heading to the cinema with whoever has arrived.

If you cannot make it to the screening, it should end at about 6.20-6.30 pm, give or take. You can contact me to get our whereabouts. I cannot guarantee how long we will be hanging out after that, so we'll see.

Meetup #2- Friday 16th August, 5.30pm at Harbourfront MRT

Just a walkabout at Vivocity. There's plenty of space and places to eat and chitchat. Again, you can send me an ask and I will answer you privately with my phone number. Please identify yourself in a text once you have received my number.

St. Louis Screening Meetup

Alrighty folks in the St. Louis area or surrounding counties that are part of Jaegercon!

Tomorrow, August 11th at 4:35, St. Louis Mills/St. Louis Outlet Mall (depending on your preference). Pacific Rim Screening!

I will be there between 4 and 4:15 wearing a green shirt that says Irish and Crazy along with a sign that says 'Jaegercon Meetup'. I will be waiting in front of the ticket booth.

If you're coming from 270, north or south, you want the 370 Exit toward St. Charles. The exit for the Mills/Outlet Mall is the first exit once you're on.

If you're coming from 70, either take 270 to 370 or if you're near Mid Rivers Mall, you want the 370 exit and take it to the Mills Exit.

Once at the Mills/Outlet Mall you want to find Regal Theatres. That is where we will be watching the movie.

Updated info: Well I work all weekend of Jaegercon.  so that count me out of doing a meet up/screening :(, if someone eles want to get one going in this area good luck! ^_^ 

As for me, I’ll be going at least one more time to the movie. On Wed 8/7 at the Regal Oviedo Mall Stadium. Either the 7:45 or 10:45 showing. If anyone want to meet up that day, let me know! ^_^

Chicago "Double Event" PR Meet up!

Hello kaiju groupies! 

just a quick post to see if people are still interested in meeting up to see Pacific Rim on Friday but don't want to travel downtown if they're not going to the con.

I looked up showtimes for the York Theatre and is seems that they're no longer playing the movie (boo on them) however the Marcus Cinema in Addison is!

If anyone is still interested please reblog or like and comment with the preferred showtime (majority will win out). Afterwards, if people like, there is a Baskin Robins/Dunkin Donuts near the theatre so we could drown our post-movie feels in ice cream (or somewhere else depending on the time). Jaegercon Netherlands

Didn't get any replies on my previous post about a Jaegercon meeting in The Netherlands (not really a surprise to be honest) but I'm going to a screening with some friends on either Saturday evening (the 10th) or somewhere on Sunday (the 11th).

If you live in the netherlands and you would like to tag along, let me know, you are more then welcome to join us.  We are going to Pathe Arena in Amsterdam. The schedule for those days will be released later today so will update with times later.

So on Saturday it's screening at 20:50 and on Sunday it's screening at 17:10 or 20:35. All these showings are in 3D.
