Surely, knowing the sort of person that Midorima is, he'd gift Yasuken whatever Aquarius' lucky item is similar to how he gifted Kuroko on his birthday. Naturally, Yasuken isn't all too picky with what she receives. In fact, most times she just has a lot of trouble even remembering off the top of her head what she would want. That said, Midorima could have given her literal charcoal and she'd thank him nevertheless, after staring at it with bereft unamusement. Since not being picky didn't mean that Yasuken was the sort of person to blindly accept anything with a smile.
However, breaking through expectations, Midorima would also have a second gift prepared for her which would be to be given once they were alone.
Midorima is not utterly ignorant, especially not to when his friends are the subject. Yasuken just happened to be within his earshot when he heard her mention to her friends what she'd like for Christmas in passing.
"I like surprises. So, for me, anything's fine. But.. If I really had to make a choice... I'd like.. an ornate hairpin, or something like that..."
On a day where Cancers happened to be first, Midorima and Takao passed by an accessory store. "Stop." Midorima says, fixated on the store front. Takao sighs, putting the rear-cart to a halt, "Already did, Shin-chan. We're at a stoplight..." Both former and the latter are true, but one thing unsaid is the cheeky smile that appears on Takao's face as he turns back to catch Midorima looking at the accessory story they stopped nearby. He hooted, "Didn't know you know tomorrow's lucky item already." The other says quickly, "It's not that."
'Parking' the rear-cart where the bikes are and securing it with tape and a lock just to be sure, they both head inside. Entire time, Takao also takes the time for himself to check what he could get his sister as an additional gift. Meanwhile, Midorima is meticulously calculating and deliberating just what would sit Yasuken's tastes (and his own). It's a series of him thinking he's found the one before setting it back where he found it after finding one of seemingly prettier quality.
But he isn't looking for peak prettiness, he's looking for the one. The hairpin that would speak to him and he'd be sure would speak to Yasuken as well. Midorima knows that Yasuken wasn't picky and didn't even give any elaboration beyond the keyword 'ornate', but he still couldn't just find it in himself to just pick one of the many ornate hairpins and leave. "Shin~chan. I already got mine, what's taking you so long?" "Hush, Takao." Midorima quickly hushes Takao, after half an hour of searching, he'd finally found it.
Red and black and gold, a beautiful traditional smoke and other japanese patterns, tassels. It displayed elegance, a sense of extremity that Midorima knew best described Yasuken outside of who she presented herself as to acquaintances, a sense of maturity that he was typically fond of.
After purchasing, they both get back on the rear-cart after freeing it from the safety measures that Takao had installed earlier, and go home.
In his bedroom, Midorima has a rare smile on his face, looking down at the small handcrafted box he made which now contains his gift for Yasuken. All that awaits now was the day and time where he could give it to her.
I love knowing what yall f/os give u as gift hehhe

@pinkreveluv6 i worry my reply might reach its limit, so here’s my response as to why i like kiyoshi and kagami in a post! :
hmm i don’t really have a solid answer, i just like their dynamic. after szn 2’s first games (vs. shutoku and vs. kirisaki daiichi) where we see kiyoshi in official games for the first time, i liked kagami’s reactions to him. teaming up to block midorima, kagami finally having support on the inside rather than seirin swapping btwn him and mitobe, kiyoshi’s overall dependability on the court. to me they’re two sides of the same coin in a game: kiyoshi isn’t as outwardly aggressive as kagami when he’s playing center, but he’s definitely tough whereas kagami is, from the get-go, very obviously someone to keep an eye on because of how brash he is.
knb generally doesn’t have much one-on-one interaction off the court unless it’s practice, a flashback, or two characters making some sort of pledge, so thinking of kykg interactions off-court is where things get flexible with them. kiyoshi is very much an older brother figure, and i think kagami needs that! of the few people we’ve seen capable of getting kagami out of his head, kiyoshi has been one of those and has done it with the least words (i.e. just patting his head)
overall, kuroko’s basketball has a lot of boys will be boys relationships, friendly or platonic. by which i mean: we see friendships develop through the course of them spending time together, and gradually see everyone become comfortable with their respective teams. kiyoshi and kagami, in particular, have chemistry from defending the inside together and from the aforementioned wordless comfort. i feel that’s something that can easily be translated into interactions off-court.
edit/add-on: from this, you can probably gather there’s not much of them that’s super obvious (as compared to kagakuro, aokise, midotaka, etc.) so as a writer, that = freedom. with popular ships, there’s a lot that has been done already and while any new take on a trope is wonderful, kiyokaga is one of those that’s able to have a first. from having their first AU - worldbuilding, new characters, added traits, maybe even magic - to having their first ficlet tagged lazy morning.
there’s a lot of material that’s not there, and that’s one of the things i like the most.
#knb#kiyokaga#cringelord rambles#sorry this got so long! honestly it helped me sort some thoughts out so thank you for asking!! <3

Takao makes sure to lose touch with Midorima after high school because he was in love and it hurt. He had tried confessing once but Midorima shut him down. But it was clear that Midorima knew what Takao wanted to do but wanted things to remain the same. But Midorima found himself full of regret and longing since Takao left. 6 years after high school, at Aomine and Momoi's wedding Kagami lets slip to Midorima that Takao is now with Izuki and that Mr & Mrs Aomine will be their new neighbours...
//Oooh why do I feel like this one might hurt a bit? Lets go~Phew this got rather long so I’m using the usual read more tag. //
((With Takao sick and unable to attend the wedding, the oblivious ace of Seirin returned from America encouraged by the new bride the tsundere and the hawk meet again… But can six years of distance and pain really be overcome over one night?))
~.:.~Flashback to Team Graduation Day~.:.~Following Shuutoku’s tradition after the final game the seniors had to leave the team, and take the remaining time to study and prepare for school. There were quite a few seniors who had remained even though they didn’t get much play time, thanks to the talented rookies only one or two players in the same year as Midorima and Takao got to even be on the bench normally. There was a small party to see off the seniors, then a spartan drill lead by the third year regulars before they were freed. Everyone had split up, and as normal the former ace and point guard were together. There wasn’t really anyone around so he built up the resolve and stopped walking. Takao’s intent wasn’t missed by Midorima who was concerned at the moment the hawk faced him.
Midorima had looked at Takao with eyes full of confusion and disdain, he hadn’t been attracted to anyone that he was aware of, basketball was the thing that took all his time so he recoiled from Takao saying “Shin-chan… Since we’re going to be graduating soon I wanted to tell you something. After all, I don’t want to regret anything after we leave. So hear me out.” His smile was more fragile than normal, but that probably escaped the ace at that moment. The ravenette had taken a breath and looked up at him “I like you, I fell for you pretty hard somewhere along the line… We spent so much time together I didn’t even realize at first… But I can’t ignore it since I noticed… I really like you a lot.” The unchanging expression of shock changed to something similar to hurt and very similar to disgust, Midorima shook his head “…Takao… I…. That’s not something I can do…”
He refused to cry in front of him, and waved it off. The hawk had smiled and nodded “Of course… It’s not fitting for someone from a lineage like yours to be with a guy… I get it~ I just had to say it.” He had glanced at the clock on the wall and smiled wryly to himself “Right… I was supposed to meet my sister soon, I gotta run Shin-chan. See you around.” Turning on his heel he left Midorima reaching toward him hesitating, he could tell something was wrong, but he didn’t know what to say… Things between them had been so precious to him, to both of them he thought, and he wanted to protect that.
Takao might not have been a track star, but when he needed to he could run. And right that moment all he needed to do was run, so he did, leaving his bike at school he bolted off campus heading to a park no one went to anymore. He couldn’t get Midorima’s disappointed and disgusted looks out of his head. Tears were burning in his eyes by the time he got to the park, he threw himself at the ground back to a fence separating the weeded park from a decrepit basketball court.
~~A few weeks later~~ Shuutoku Graduation day~~
Graduation day at Shuutoku was always a grand affair, there were so many students and so many athletes continuing on to greatness. The hawk and the tsundere would have probably been standing together if things hadn’t cracked… Takao built up his resolve and after they graduated from the team, confessed to the former ace, who hadn’t taken it well. Takao knew that Midorima was bad with expressing his emotions to begin with, but the disgust that had seeped out made the forgiving hawks heart shatter.
Midorima was surrounded by people trying to recruit him last minute, family and team members who were congratulating him. That day Takao was glad to be part of the shadow family, he slipped out of the press of people after he got his diploma and a couple photos for his family. He avoided the buzz and slipped off campus for the last time like a shadow in the night. He’d lost weight from pushing himself to study, he enrolled in a nearby school knowing that Midorima wouldn’t be going someplace so small he was relieved. As he was aimlessly walking the street a familiar voice had called out to him with a bad joke “Ah! It seems birds of a feather do flock together! An eyesore has appeared!” Perhaps it was the memories from playing Seirin over the years, or maybe it was because he did feel a kinship to the eagle, maybe he just finally lost it… But the tears started falling again and Takao had tried to escape. Izuki had noticed something was wrong and caught him without meaning to at first, and brought him somewhere to talk.
~~ 6 years later ~~
Takao was bundled up in fluffy pajamas decorated with little eagles, he had a facemask on eyes red from lack of sleep and fever. Still he managed to joke “Jeez Shun… Everything will be untied if you stay like this.” With his trembling hands he fixed Izuki’s tie smiling under his mask. Gently he leaned his forhead to the other’s shoulder when he finished “You have to go for both of us… Momoi would kill me otherwise, especially since they’re moving into the apartment across the hall… We can’t just be flighty neighbors” Izuki couldn’t help but laugh at the bad joke and gently kissed Takao’s cheek before helping him back to the bed, his fever was insane. Honestly Izuki wanted to stay and look after him, but Takao would force himself to go if he’d attempted to do that, so there was an impasse. Takao’s little sister was going to drop by around dinner to make sure her brother ate some porridge, since she was attending university nearby she stopped in sometimes.
Reluctantly after tucking his little hawk into bed and putting a cool cloth on his head the eagle headed out with a sunset colored gift bag in hand. The pink and the blue colors had been so perfect for Aomine and Momoi’s wedding gift that the two birds had picked it before they decided on the gift itself. As Izuki headed to the reception hall to drop it off he crashed into Kagami. They chatted and walked to the venue for the wedding together, it’d been a while since Kagami left for America, he came back since Momoi made sure to invite him. After all who would skip inviting on of her husband’s best friends and rivals to their special day. Izuki caught Kagami up on everything he knew about, how Akashi was sponsoring different basketball events as he took over for his family. About how Midorima and Takao hadn’t talked since school, and how he didn’t know what the green miracle was up to but that he was seeing Takao. About how Kuroko became one of the most diligent preschool teachers around, despite his disappearing act. About Murasakibara opening a sweet shop, Kise was staring in films and on television now. Most of them still played ball in their free time as well, Kiyoshi had gone to America to get the best treatment for his leg. The coach and Hyuuga finally got together, they took over the sports gym and barber shop so they alternate what needs to get done. Kagami filled him in of what it was like abroad, how Alex was doing, about having met Nijimura the former captain of the miracles and such. After they arrived and took their seats they settled in to watch the wedding unfold, it was stunning how gorgeous Satsuki had gotten, she was glowing. With Kuroko and Kise standing behind Aomine and Riko behind Momoi everything was radiant. No one believed Daiki could be so gentle as he lifted the veil over his new wife’s face, there were plenty of cheers and tears as the two promised their lives to each other.
Hours later at the reception Izuki was apologizing to the Ao couple for Takao’s absence, he offered to help them move their gifts back to the apartment from the hall as well so they wouldn’t be late for their flight. While they chatted Kagami spotted a rather miserable looking Midorima, it seemed like he had taken the road of being a doctor. Midorima’s eyes had swept over the crowd a few times, appearing rather sad, drawing Kagami over to him without knowing it. They chatted about their professions, since Midorima over exerted himself in high school he had damaged some of the muscles in his arm. To help younger athletes avoid similar injuries he took the path of medicine, he heard a lot about Kagami playing pro overseas. They chatted a bit about the past and Kagami realized how much he was missing Takao, since Izuki-san hadn’t mentioned that Takao didn’t want to see the carrot he didn’t see any harm in telling him how the hawk was doing. Midorima’s hand curled around the small plush bird in his hand and he trembled slightly thanking him, then he dipped out to take a call from his job. Kagami wandered off to catch up with the others and congratulate the couple. Kagami was stunned to learn that the cake was made by Murasakibara, and the catering was done by Mitobe and Kogenai who now ran a catering company.
As the night was winding down Midorima saw Izuki helping Daiki and Satsuki and offered to help, since he had driven down in case he had to leave for the hospital. The blue-pink pair smiled and left Midorin and Izuri to handle the gifts so they could go on their short trip since it was only a few days. Satsuki handed Midorima the key smiling saying “If you could set things up Midorin I’d appreciate it~ You can leave the key with Izurin afterwards” She hugged the two and dragged Aomine away. It was her consideration, even Izuki couldn’t help but sigh. Good intentions pave the road to hell they say, her intentions were so pure no one could argue. Maybe her name should have been Shiroki instead of Momoi. Even Midorima was surprised by the obviousness of her intentions and looked somewhat apologetically at Izuki. After everything was loaded into the car he drove to the parking lot designated for the building and helped carry the gifts upstairs, between the two of them it took about three trips to get everything inside up to the third floor and into the apartment. It would take Midorima a few hours to sort everything and unpack it for them. He was probably going to be house sitting for the newlyweds for the night, Izuki couldn’t help but pity the awkward doctor. Midorima had taken out his phone and was searching for nearby restaurants, after all he’d have to eat something and probably buy toiletries or something. Granted being a doctor he likely had a stash in his car incase he had to stay out overnight.
Taking pity on him Izuki steeled himself and smiled “Why don’t you come over and eat dinner with us… Takao might be sleeping though, he caught a pretty bad cold when he was out doing his last photography exhibition shoot, he was trying to get the perfect photo for Aomine and Momoi’s wedding gift and he fell head first into the ice cold ocean… He’s been recovering for about a week now… I don’t know how he’ll take to it though, after all when you’re sick it’s hard to hold anything together…” Midorima hesitated and Izuki could see the internal struggle, he clearly regretted hurting Takao back then and missed him… Izuki couldn’t help but wonder just how much.
After a bit of coaxing and deliberation Midorima followed Izuki across the hall to the apartment the bird pair shared, they took their shoes off at the entrance of Aomine’s and Midorima just used slippers to cross over since he had to come back to unpack anyway. His little bird plushie was snuggled into his breast pocket since he’d needed both hands to carry that insane amount of gifts. Izuki was startled to see Takao sitting curled up in a ball hugging a deco pillow on the sofa sound asleep. It seems his sister had come and helped him eat, but then had to leave. She left a note on the coffee table ’Sorry Shun-nii, Kazu refused to lay back down and I have a lecture tonight for astronomy so I couldn’t argue! so I bundled him up before I left. He seems to be doing a bit better, his temperature is coming down! Good luck!’ Midorima had frozen in place seeing the hawk, although he had clearly aged, with that mask on and the flush from fever he looked nearly identical to how he was in high school. Izuki stroked Takao’s hair and murmured quietly so Midorima wouldn’t hear “Kazu, wake up love, we have a visitor if you’re up for it… An old friend of yours.” Takao’s eyes fluttered open tiredly and even with the mask his overjoyed smile was obvious on his face as he released the pillow and wrapped his arms around Izuki’s neck pressing his forehead to the eagle’s much cooler one mumbling tiredly “Shun you’re home… I missed you…” He affectionately cuddled for a moment and Izuki stroked his hair smiling, he was really cute like this. A few moments after he finally woke up he froze his steel eyes showed something that startled Izuki, they were full of fear when he noticed Midorima. He returned to hugging the pillow causing Izuki to almost lose his balance as he caught himself of the sofa, stroking his hair he said “Kazu, Midorima is unpacking for Momoi… I invited him over to eat so he doesn’t have to go to a restaurant… Is that okay?” The eagle was concerned seeing his lover so startled, he regretted his choice more seeing him visibly tremble. Midorima was about to say he’d go out after all when Takao’s voice finally responded “I-it’s fine…. Shin-chan probably still hates eating out… Especially alone… He finds people too noisy… And he got teased a lot back then…”
Both Midorima and Izuki were surprised by the answer, but the hawk wasn’t looking at his former teammate he was staring at the tie he fixed for Izuki earlier. Izuki kissed Takao’s forehead and nodded “Alright love, would you like some ice cream to eat with us? Your throat sounds sore.” Takao nodded and looked at his lover clearly nervous. Izuki whispered to him again “It’s okay Kazu, I’m not going anywhere… If you can’t take it anymore just call for me.” Reluctantly he nodded as he watched Izuki pull back and stretch glancing at Midorima smiling “Sit down for a bit, relax I’ll make us something light since it’s late.” Izuki the headed into the kitchen which was separated by an island toward the back of the large room.
Midorima sat in the chair closest to the exit, he smiled almost tearfully at Takao as he was the first to break the silence that spread between them “It’s been six years… Have you been doing well?” Takao was startled that Midorima took the initiative to break the silence and nodded. “I graduated from the same school as Shun with a business degree and a photography certificate… I’ve been doing photography for a few years and playing ball with a local team…. I’ve been together with Shun for about five years now…” Squeezing the pillow tighter to his chest he almost whimpered out “How have you been Shin-chan… I haven’t seen you since graduation…” Midorima blinked smiling kindly nodded “I finally finished my doctorate, I’ve been practicing progressive medicine since I hurt myself a bit in our last year from over exertion. I’ve been busy with my family as well, my father wants my assistance frequently. At the last alumni team meeting the senpai were asking about you, they asked me to pass their contact information to you if I got the chance as your number changed from back then…. I’ll be sure to leave it with Izuki-san for you so you have it when you’re feeling better… You know Miyaji-san has always been a worrier, and he was concerned that you were missing.” A small warmth took the edge of fear out of the hawk’s eyes hearing about their former seniors. The eagle in the kitchen making them fried rice relaxed a bit, this was going better than expected… Though they were rather formal with each other, clearly those two ex-best-friends didn’t know what level of distance to have anymore…
The two had small conversations, about the seniors, photography, their little sisters, their old friends, nothing substantial. This continued over the meal, they ate at the coffee table since Takao probably shouldn’t sit in a dining chair trembling as he was. Izuki sat beside Takao with a cushion between them at the hawk insisting that he might still be contagious. Slowly the eagle was dragged into reminiscing about Seirin and Shuutoku in the past, how him and Takao had hooked up and so on. The pace changed slightly when Izuki went to take the dishes into the kitchen after turning down Midorima’s offer to wash them. Swallowing his pride Midorima gave Takao the little bird plushie that had been his lucky item and said “I’m glad you’re doing well with Izuki-san Takao… Since you left back then I was worried… I didn’t want things between us to change… I loved you…. But you were like a brother to me, I didn’t know how I should respond… I couldn’t handle thinking I might lose you… But because of that, my selfishly believing that nothing would change… I did lose you… I won’t stop by anymore since it’s obvious you don’t want to see me anymore… Thank you for being my best friend and partner in the past… Stay well Takao” After that Midorima had thanked Izuki once again for inviting him and disappeared across the hall, locking the door and unpacking for the newlyweds. Before dawn Midorima had already left, leaving an envelope with the senior’s contact information with the key the the Aomine apartment in Izuki and Takao’s mailbox.
Takao was in shock for a few days and ended up getting more sick from stress, it took Izuki a few days to calm the hawk down and soothe him back to being himself. True to his word they didn’t see Midorima again, but Momoi promised he was doing well. Aomine accidently let it slip that the tsundere had gone on a vacation to recover from a heartbreak. That was the end for them. It was just as jagged as their start… A perfect ending for an imperfect pair, maybe once the hurt was gone once the nightmares of disgust and distance stopped plaguing them they’d be able to attend one of the alumni meets together, instead of one going by day and the other by night… A true light and shadow story. The hawk plushie sits in the bottom of a shoe box in the box with Takao’s Shuutoku things that Izuki refuses to throw away, knowing one day his lover might really regret it.

kagami shivered as you stimulate his sensitive nipples, his aching cock twitching on his tummy.
"please mommy, wanna cum" he whimpered, melting even further in your arms, head resting on your shoulder.
"then cum baby, i know you can do it just from your pretty tits" taiga melted at the way you referred to his pectorals. "go ahead baby, do it" you left a kiss on his cheek.
kagami ended up dirtying his torso with the thick ropes of cum he let out, his whimpers and moans filling the room.
"good boy, you're such a good boy for me" you praised as he melted in your arms once again.

Just a little aokaga fic you can find from me on ao3 :
He woke up way too early.
An hour before six-thirty and the world was still on pause, a soft spring breeze whispering its way into the bedroom, dulled with a deep blue, the color of Daiki’s hair.
Taiga got annoyed at first. Resting on his back, he glared up at the ceiling and cursed lowly under his breath. The morning was still on standby right now and if he could go back to sleep before the sun made an appearance, that would be great.
But then a soft snore sounded to his left and somehow all of this no longer felt important.
As quietly as he could, he rolled over and stared.
There was really no other way to describe this- Daiki looked beautiful, awake and sleeping- there was no in between.
Hair in his eyes, he snored softly, curled up, safe and warm against Taiga’s side, that little crease between his eyebrows nonexistent, that little bit of drool, dried up on the corner of his mouth, having dripped on Taiga’s shirt during the night.
Smirking softly, the redhead shuffled closer and propped his chin in his hand. Outside the window, the world was waking up, bus engines and car horns on par with distant birds, fast and calculated in their morning muse.
Taiga thought about closing it, but moving would mean waking Daiki up and he didn’t want to do that. Just a little longer.
In contrast to his thoughts, he reached forward, gently, ever so gently and swept a strand of hair from his lover’s face, the warmth of his skin against his fingertips, smooth as Taiga skimmed down to his cheek, caressing gently before traveling further to thumb his dry lips.
And it was like this. At five thirty in the morning before sunrise and Daiki was sleeping and Taiga was in love with him.
“You have no idea what you do to me,” he mumbled. “No fucking clue.”
Seconds later and Daiki started to stir, his face scrunching cutely. Taiga pulled away, only to bring his hand back when his lover reached blindly for him, fingers curling around his wrist as his eyelids fluttered.
“Taiga…wha-“ his morning voice would forever be a sin in itself but they both agreed for the time being that Taiga’s was hotter.
“Shh, shh, I’ve got you.” Reaching forward, he wrapped his arms around the bluenette and pulled him into his chest, lips finding the top of his head and lingering; soft kisses in blue strands.
“Go back to sleep babe…didn’t mean to wake you up.”
Humming quietly in response, Daiki snuggled into his neck and went still again, fingers going slack against the redhead’s shirt as Taiga rubbed his back, continuing the lazy onslaught of kisses to his hair.
Yeah sure. He might have woken up too early, but damn, he’d do it again for the rest of his life if it meant having a moment like this.
With that familiar warmth nestled close against him, small puffs of breath ghosting against his throat, Taiga fell back to sleep.

Ooooh, I'll do it! How about Kuroo and jumping into a pile of leaves you just finished raking? - 🥺
The cool Autumn breeze feels amazing on your skin now that you’re semi-bundled up and starting to work up a sweat doing yard work.
You’ll never regret it, buying your little house outside the city.
It’s a longer commute for Kuroo but he doesn’t mind, not when it makes you this happy at least.
You’ve just about finished raking all the leaves from the two giant maple trees that sit on opposite sides of the long driveway when you hear him.
The love of your life.
“Tetsu can you grab the trash bag for me?” you ask, not turning to face him which you immediately regret when you hear a suspicious flop and his muffled laughter.
“Kuroo Tetsurou!”
“Aww kitten, cmon...have a little fun.”
“Oh I’m going to,” you reply, stern expression morphing into a mischievous one. “And you’re going to rake all these leaves again and put them in the bag all on your own.”
You don’t make it far though before he tackles you into the opposite pile and you’re kicking at him and hitting against his chest, laughter peeling out of you without permission.
“I hate you,” you say, though you both know it’s a blatant lie.
“Mmm,” he mumbles, wrapping around you to try to keep the cold, wetness of the ground from sinking through your clothes.
“I’m going to take a very long bath and you’re going to clean all this up and order takeout,” you say, still not really in a hurry to get up.
“It’s beautiful in the autumn.”
“Yeah...it is.”
He peppers your face with kisses before finally letting you up, but you’re not nearly as stressed or angry when you go and that, you imagine, was the whole point.
Your clever cat isn’t nearly as sneaky as he thinks he is.

red rose | nash gold jr. x f!reader
word count: 400 additional tags: smut | fingering | fluff | romance | comfort note: honestly I don’t even know how to title this one but here ya go. Happy International Women’s Day! gotta get some that love from our magician too and now imma get some of that pudding I wanted to have whole day already
When you get home, you see a single red rose on your bed. Your eyes widen, but a smile quickly spreads across your lips as you hold it and bring it to your nose. You leave the bedroom, your mood immediately getting better thanks to the small surprise that you unconsciously bring it along into the bathroom. You place it on the sink before you get rid of your clothes and step into the shower.
It’s quiet in the apartment, your humming and water running the only noise.
It’s not long until Nash comes home and he smiles when he hears you humming. You heard the door of the bathroom open and almost immediately relax, knowing who it was.
Warm arms wrap around your middle, pulling you against the chest and you laugh. You feel lips on your shoulder and you lean your head back.
“How was your day?” Nash’s voice is quiet, barely heard over the running water.
“Manageable.” you answer. “We got chocolate at work, but that’s all. Thank you for the rose.” You turn your head enough to kiss him on the cheek.
He hums as one of his hands slides between your thighs, his fingers gently rubbing at the sweet spot that makes your knees weak. Your eyes flutter shut and you part your lips, a shaky breath leaving you as you hold onto his arm. His touch is burning, fire spreading inside you to every corner of your body.
Before you can prepare for it, you’re already coming undone and his touch is gentle, soft like a feather that tickles you. Your legs that turned into jelly, almost buckle if it weren’t for Nash holding you against him. He’s showering you with kisses as you’re slowly coming down from your high, now panting into his chest.
“So good…” he murmurs against your head. “You did so good, princess.”
You whimper at his nickname, your nose nuzzling into the crook of his neck. “Mm-baby…” you call softly, your hands on his sides.
“What is it?” he asks quietly. “Can’t have my princess giving up on her day already, can I?” Before you know it, you’re scooted off the ground and already leaving the bathroom, neither of you bothering to dry up.
You find yourself in the comfort of bed sheets and warm arms, lips against your wet and burning skin as Nash begins to take his sweet time.

Confessions of a Blueberry
Tell her how you feel, Aomine-kun.”
Aomine gave Kuroko a slight glare as the frustration rose from his mouth, to his eyebrows then to the vein 1.5 inches away from his left temple. He shook his head and leaned into his chair.
“You don’t get it, Tetsu. If she doesn’t feel the same way I do then what’s the point? I don’t have what you have.”
Kuroko’s eyebrows quirked a bit.
“You have more confidence than anyone I know.”
“I know that. I mean you’re used to losing.”
Kuroko’s typically impartial face showed a slight annoyance.
“I have a girlfriend, Aomine-kun. Something you will never have if you don’t talk to her.”
“Tetsu, your bragging sucks. Having Satsuki as a girlfriend is too easy for you.”
Tetsu finished his shake and stood.
“Momoi and I are not a couple.”
“Wait, what?! She’s been throwing herself at you for years!”
“Aomine-kun, my love life is private. If you want talk to her then Kagami-kun will. I’ve heard them speaking and they get along very well.”
The vein of frustration returned in full force. He crushed his cup at the sheer audacity of Kagami pushing up on HIS girl! When she walked to her usual coffee shop with her parasol…that little sashay is for him and him alone!
“Oh no! Bakagami isn’t winning anything when I’m around! Definitely not MY woman!”
“She will never be your girlfriend with that kind of speech. Respect her. She’s worth it.”
Aomine nodded and grabbed his phone. He kept an adorable picture of you waiting at a crosswalk with coffee in one hand parasol in the other. He took a deep breath and dialed your number.

Because it's Groundhog Day, I got this idea for a Midorima and Takao fic where Takao is stuck in a time loop:
He keeps experiencing the same day over and over. He wakes up late, his sister eats the last of what he wanted for breakfast, Midorima went to school without him, and the bike for the rickshaw loses a wheel. Not to mention, he forgot about an exam and left his bento at home.
If all that wasn't bad enough, their coach announces that they're going to have a practice game against Rakuzan that evening. Which they lose.
All in all, not a great day.
And when it repeats the following morning, Takao just thinks it's déjà vu. Until it finally hits him that he's actually experienced all of this before.
He tries to tell Midorima, but he won't believe him. Who would? So, he gives up and waits it out, chalking it up to a weird phenomenon, and finishes his day.
What were the odds of him repeating it again?
Pretty good, apparently, because it happens again the next day. And the next. In a seemingly endless loop.
However, he finally gets Midorima to believe him on the fourth day.
"I know what your lucky item is."
"Anyone could have checked Oha Asa."
"I know all the answers to the exam."
"That's cheating, Takao."
"Coach is going to tell us we've got a practice game with Rakuzan."
"... So, how many times has this day supposedly repeated?"
It gets easier to convince Midorima each day because Takao knows what his partner needs to hear to believe him. And soon, his Ace begins to help him figure it out.
"Have you determined the reason you've been reliving this day?"
"I wish! Then maybe it would finally end," Takao laments. "C'mon, Shin-chan, let's get ready for club."
"Yes, we have our practice game against Akashi."
Then it hits them. Rakuzan! Their eyes widen as they share the realization. Maybe they're supposed to beat Rakuzan!
Easier said than done.
No matter how hard they try, they can't seem to win. It was the Winter Cup all over again.
On the plus side, Takao and Midorima are getting closer. Even though it's a fresh day for Midorima, he seems even more at ease with Takao, believing him immediately when he says beating Rakuzan will break his curse.
"Scorpio is in last place today, after all."
One day, during their strategy session, Takao kisses Midorima. It has been leading up to this. And maybe it's only been a few hours for Midorima, but it's been weeks for Takao. And all the feelings that had been building up since their first year, heck, since Takao had lost to him in middle school, start to overflow, shifting into something else.
"You... love me?" Midorima questions. And it's then that Takao realizes he said that, right after Midorima made a brilliant suggestion and right before Takao pressed their lips together.
"Yeah." He smiles. "I do."
They win their game against Rakuzan.
The whole team celebrates with dinner afterwards and Midorima is the one to escort Takao home. They kiss again and Takao tries to remember everything he did today, all the choices he made, so he can perfectly replicate it tomorrow.
Only...
Only, when Takao wakes up, it's to his alarm and his sister calling him down for breakfast. Their mom had gone grocery shopping.
After eating, Takao walks outside, ready to grab the rickshaw, only to find Midorima waiting for him, a slight blush on his face.
"I suppose that means it worked." Midorima is looking anywhere but at him.
Takao grins. "Yes, I suppose it does." He dashes forward, wrapping his arms around Midorima’s middle. He's not sure if it was winning the game that did it. In fact, he's pretty sure it was something else. "Let's go?"
Midorima nods, his face flushed. But he still cups Takao’s cheek and brushes his lips against his. "We'll be late," he mutters and then mounts the bike.
Yeah, Takao is a hundred percent sure it was something else.

Title: Don't Count the Stars
Pairing: Midorima x Takao
Rate/Tags: Teen above, fluff, established relationship
Summary:
Once Oha-asa declared Scorpio was at the last place, and that the best way to achieve good luck was to go to a place that reaches the stars, Takao knew his weekend plans were done for. Midorima rang him the second the reporter finished, requesting formally that the raven haired be prepared for a hundred- foot journey up a mountain.
"But why the mountains!?" he guffawed, already walking with Midorima to the train station in their hiking apparel with their backpacks on and Midorima still itemless. "I get it, we need to get your lucky item from a souvenir store at the foot of the mountain-"
"A Hannya brimstone is more likely to be effective coming from its original store location."
"Pffft. It's not like luck dimishes with delivery. That's how you get your other items! But seriously, a planetarium is less of a hassle."
"Takao," the ace said, voice reprimanding, "To do the best--"
It was drowned out by the sound of the train that wheezed past them and the two boarded with Takao laughing at how Midorima's legs will always be too long for the accomdating seats. Midorima found nothing funny. He was restless throughout the ride, only comforted once they secured his lucky item to which Takao commented "scarier than any apparition up the mountain peak."
"This is yours." the ace proceeded to hand him a Tengu brimstone charm.
"It's not my lucky item, Shin-chan. It's something about stars, remember?"
"Of course I remember-nandayo. It's a partner of mine, they must not be separated."
"I don't think this will save me getting lost in the mountain, though." he took it gratefully.
"Why do you think you will get lost?" Midorima asked before shooting his boyfriend a devastating look. Of course Midorima knew the reason. Takao only gave his ace-sama a grin.
The trail was dry given the approaching summer. The sky was the bluest with ample clouds that shielded them from the glaring sun. Much to Midorima's chagrin, the hike proved to be challenging, not because of the leg excercise (they have Shutoku training menu that could kill the unfit), but of Takao's innate skill to be care less. Midorima knew Takao was not immune from being, well, Takao. It was like the point guard wanted nothing to do with the safe trail. Once or twice, Midorima had to chastise him from pointing at paths no feet had ever treaded upon with an obvious look of excitement on his face.
"No. Don't forget your rank for today."
"You're right, but wouldn't it be awesome to know if there were hidden lakes or waterfalls in unknown webbed corners?"
"Unlikely. It would have been spotted by aerial cameras for geographic purposes. There are no such things here."
"That's why I said hidden."
"Do not forget our goal here, Takao." Midorima said, pulling Takao by his back collar for trying to casually go off to another path. The ace had kept a careful eye on the pointguard who naturally was pleased with the attention. It was one thing to invite his ever so firm boyfriend to embrace the sense of adventure and live life a little since they rarely hike up mountains, but it was another to convince Shin-chan that with his Hawkeye, he could definitely get them back on the trail in no time.
"Don't you trust me?"
"Let's not tempt fate," Midorima said, running his long taped fingers on Takao's hair and smoothing out a leaf that had gotten stuck there. The flush that rose to the point guard's cheeks was easily covered by his already red and perspiring body after two hours of walking.
Takao behaved after that.
The summit was empty when they reached it. Takao dropped dead on the ground while Midorima proceeded on fixing their tent. Everything was alright when Takao volunteered to get the woods for a bonfire. It seemed what hikers say was true, there is a different energy for when you reach the top of the mountain.
Midorima sighed and went with him anyway.
"You really don't trust me, eh?" Takao said bitingly. Midorima only pushed his glasses back at the bridge of his nose.
"It's not a question of trust, but of ranks."
Takao hummed, then glanced at his ace-sama thoughtfully, "So the best thing is to really stay with Shin-chan after all."
Midorima agreed. His luck would have to help Takao get through it. Plus, they were indeed, near the sky.
Dusk found them outside the tent, Midorina reading a book as he leaned on a tree while Takao chatted animatedly. They did not miss the sunset, the orange orb sinking in the horizon, bringing with it the light of the day, while around it the sky swirled of colours, red and pink then purple as darkness began to reign and consumed everything. The first star appeared just as they were preparing their dinner, cool breeze enveloping their skin as they watched the stars occupy the black veil like glitters. They stayed around the bonfire a few hours after cleaning up dinner, Midorima taking out an extra clean blanket to use as cover for the ground. The best hours to stargazed was between midnight and twilight and that they did not miss. It was a party of stars in the milky way to behold.
"They're all really up there," Takao said in awe, speaking for the first time since Midorima woke him up for the promised starshow. "There's so many no one would notice if one of them dropped out and fall to the ground. I mean look, even if I count-"
"Don't." Midorima said quietly, his glasses reflecting that star light, "It's been said it's bad luck to count the stars. A legend said you'd die when you reach 100."
Takao considered chuckling, only to find his breath taken at the spectacular view.
"Who'd count those anyway,"
"You can with your sharp eyes."
"Oh yeah-"
"Don't."
"You realized you just tempted me to do so?"
"I'd rather not have my long life partner to be haunted by badluck."
"Oh, Shin-chan? Did you just propose to me? Again? " Takao snickered while Midorima only gazed back the sky. It was nothing surprising. Midorima, from the time they became a couple, had been threatening to propose every minute of the day. Takao was baffled at first, but it was just like Midorima... To do everything he can as best as he could once he set his eyes upon something. So Takao could never feel he will ever be unlucky. Not with this, not with what they have. Maybe until Shin-chan gets tired of him, something which Takao didn't have the heart to deal with. As long as Shin-chan was still happy with him.
"Hey, Shinchan-" he pointed up. Midorima quickly wrapped his taped hand around Takao's knuckle.
"Don't count. Takao, know I don't want anything close to badluck when it is about you." Takao pressed his lips at how affected Midorima was about it. He does care about their relationship to the extent of paving the way to even make fate agree.
"I'm not," Takao whispered, gulping at the warm touch that gradually slid off his skin as Shin-chan let go but the lingering feeling remained, "But I was saying... that's Cancer right?" he pointed at the pattern on the sky. The mountain was too dark, the stars were like lamps, they all could be seen like fire.
Midorima was quiet.
"Yes."
"And that's Sagittarius?" there was a pause where Midorima frowned.
"That's not your sign. That's Akashi's."
Takao chuckled. "I know that. We both know all the Generation of Miracles' star signs, we even know their Oha Asa! What I mean is... Look at that? Cancer and Sagittarius are much closer up the sky than say... Scorpio beneath Sagittarius. Even the Zodiacs declares it. It's really not close, yours and mine." then as an after thought, a whisper to himself, "I wish our signs are closer."
The stars twinkled with no care for his melancholy. The world continued to revolved and he remained a tiny speck.
"Where are you looking at, Takao. Your Cancer is right here."
He glanced beside him. Shin-chan's eyes were on him, fiery and firm. The ace reached for his hand again and held it tight, knocking out the air from Takao's lungs as they gazed at each other, long and meaningful.
The stars were there in Shin-chan's eyes.
"It's closer, isn't it?". Midorima demanded quietly. Takao blinked, then brightened a she beamed and drew closer to the warm of his ace-sama, butterflies awoken in his stomach and flapping even to his ears.
"That's right. We didn't really have to go here, Shin-chan. I have all the luck... because Shin-chan is my star."
Midorima's silent agreement could be seen in the crinkle of the corners of his eyes and his soft smile that made Takao feel like stars just exploded in his chest. He entwined their hands together and tugged Midorima closer.
"The tent looks cozy now," he whispered, glad for the darkness that masked the blush of his cheeks. Midorima raised himself on one elbow, leaned to him and captured his lips. It seared hot Takao's body, ridding of any part of his skin that remained cold under the cool twilight breeze. Midorima continued to set fire in his body, crawling on top of him, Takao clutching the front of the shootingguard's shirt as they made a mess under the milkyway with stars as their witness.
"You just dragged me here for the milkyway makeout," Takao accused once Shin-chan pulled him to his feet, his lips still burning from the passionate kiss.
"The weather did say it is the best date for stargazing."
"Well, it is the best date so far." Takao let himself get wrapped around Shin-chan's long arm as they headed to the tent. "But if Shin-chan is my lucky item, even if we really did go off the trails, with you beside me, we're bound to get lucky!"
Midorima grimaced as he prodded Takao into the tent, leaving the zippers open as the bonfire danced outside, helping Takao out of his clothes while the raven haired chased his lips to continue where they left off.
"I would not recommend it. Not after we're done here until dawn." Takao's burst of laughter was music to his ears.
"Oh, Shin-chan, you animal!"
The Hangul and Tengu charms left outside the bonfire reflected the blazing fire, grinning up manically at the night sky.

⁂ Innocence (Ryouta Kise)
Genre: Fluff, Romance ☁
Word Count: 596 ☁
Pairing: Reader x Kise ☁
World: Kuroko no Basket ☁
━━━━━━༻🌧️༺━━━━━━
You let a sigh pass your lips as you left Kaijou high school. Your school bag had been placed with care over your shoulder and in your hand, you held a scrap of paper. Scrawled on said paper was a list of things you could do to get a guys attention, courtesy of your classmate who knew about your strong feelings for Kaijou’s star, Kise Ryouta.
You and Kise have been good friends since middle school, but lately, you’ve been having deeper feelings for the blonde. Stronger feelings that scared you just a little bit. You didn’t want to ruin your friendship, after all.
You had gone through half the list already and he still acted the same as always. You didn’t want to say he was dumb, but rather clueless when it came to such things. His mind was always too focused on basketball and defeating Aomine, but you weren’t one to give up so easily.
“Y/Ncchi!” A smile graced your lips at the sound and you paused to wait for the blonde to catch up. He did so with ease, beaming brightly at you. “Can I walk home with you?”
“I’m actually not going straight home.” You paused, going over the list in your mind. “I need some things from the store, so I’m going there first. You can come if you want.”
He nodded. “We haven’t been spending much time together lately.”
“Things have been pretty hectic,” you laughed.
“Yup, but we can relax this weekend!”
“You’re not going to practice this weekend?”
“I asked Kasamatsu-senpai if I could take a break. He wasn’t happy,” he rubbed the back of his head where Kasamatsu had kicked him. “But he did agree!”
You smiled. “That’s great, Ryouta! We can watch the final act of Inuyasha.”
“That’s finally out?”
“It’s been out for a while.”
“Eh? Why didn’t you say anything Y/Ncchi?!”
“I figured you knew,” you stuck your tongue out playfully. He pouted, bottom lip jutting out as he tugged at your shirt. Your breath caught at that look, a small blush covering your cheeks. He was so unbelievably beautiful and he didn’t even know it. Or maybe he did know and his innocence was just an act.
“Y/Ncchi?”
“H-Huh?”
“Are you okay?”
“Y-Yeah! I’m fine!” You laughed awkwardly as you continued walking, but you didn’t make it very far before Kise grabbed your arm, pulling you back around to face him.
“You’ve been acting really strange lately,” he frowned. “What’s wrong?”
So he had noticed the change. Maybe he wasn’t as clueless as you had originally thought. You bit your lip and looked up at him through your lashes. “Isn’t it obvious, Ryouta?”
His head tilted to the side. “No, that’s why I’m asking.”
“Idiot,” you scowled, grabbing the back of his neck and smashing your lips together.
His brown eyes widened in surprise before slowly sliding shut. Your lips danced as you embraced one another, bodies fitting together like a puzzle. Your hands ran through his silky blonde locks while he held tightly to your waist. The need for oxygen arose and you broke apart, lips hovering only inches from one another.
“Put two and two together, you idiot. I like you!”
“I know,”
“What?” You blinked dumbly at his grin.
“I knew all along, Y/Ncchi. I just want wanted you to admit it!”
Your face grew red and you slapped the back of his head. He laughed, bringing his lips to yours once more.
No, Kise Ryouta was not innocent at all, but you didn’t really mind.

akafuri soulmate au ☺️ thanks!
Better late than never? This is probably a touch-your-soulmate!AU or maybe a see-colour!AU… I’m not sure.
meme here.
Kouki tooka deep breath and steeled himself for what was to come, nervously touching the handleof his teacup- he wasn’t really thirsty- and watching the other customersof the small cafe happily chat with each other. He did not know how to start totalk about the elephant in the room or where his feelings stopped and where his soulmate’s began- someone really hadto say something now but that was kind of hard, when all the fears andexpectations he had for years now were running through his head- which was why hereally couldn’t explain how his mouth suddenly whispered, “This doesn’t have tomean anything.”
The redheadon the other side of the table looked up from his own cup and searched forKouki’s gaze, his mouth slowly turned upwards in slight humor, “Let’s startsimple. What’s your favorite color?”
