TAILS GIJINKA BREAKDOWN!

FINALLY!! i put together some tails gijinka/humanized stuff LOL!! see below for some goodies and an in depth (kind of indulgent) breakdown!!

[for the third image: sonic gijinka design belongs to @noka-exe !! i havent really come up with my own but i like theirs :-) ]

thisss gijinka is packed with headcanons LOL.. beware!! for starters...hes just a little guy!! i took visual inspo from markl (howls moving castle) and simon (gurrenn lagann)!! mostly simon bc i find a lot of similarities between him and tails.. short and unassuming shy boys who are also compassionate and brave!! (isn't it also awesome how simon and tails both have an older brother figure who encourages them to be brave.. 💥💥🤯 and they both have some sort of space opera and id go on but thats spoilers!!) i also went with a prosthetic leg to kind of represent his tail!! i think it could parallel to how tails' tails can act like a mobility aid, and he'd get the opportunity to tinker and repair them too!! it could also possibly correlate to how tails makes something he was picked on and bullied for, his tails, and uses it to his advantage! and again tying in his interest for mechanics and being able to customize and repair it is a concept that i find neat!! (maybe some inspo from fullmetal alchemist.. bahahaha..)

speaking of customization. i also love the idea of him covering them with stickers!! i've already added tails' own emblem on there but this has prompted me to look into adding some more!

(sorry that im singling you out again @tornado1992 LMAO i just loved your input!!) but i also love the hc that tails gets hand me downs from sonic!! for instance his gloves.. ik theyre not directly from sonic but it is such a sweet detail that tails has a rubber band around those oversized gloves to mimic sonic! and tails definitely has the means to make his own fitted gloves yet he still has those bands on in his modern models!! auhgh!! so yes.. lets say the hoodie is so oversized and oozing with swag cause it originally belonged to sonic! :-) maybe tails likes it so much that he designs the cyclone after it!! just some ideas... more depth into his clothes: i drew a lot of inspo from already existing tails-related designs!! the main outfit i draw him in is a large short-sleeve hoodie with some elements pulled from the cyclone and tails' racesuit design from sonic speed simulator! he also has his goggles and shoes from sonic riders, with some slight details added on!! see below for a better look at the outfit LOL

(the pins on his crossbody bag are a fly-type emblem, a mint, and a red star ring! theres also a sonic keychain that i keep forgetting to add/switch out with the fly type emblem LOL)

yes i did make a classic design for him!! his younger hair is more of that nice vintage orange-yellow but as he gets older itll turn amber then maybe gold? i was also thinking he dons some red clothing to reflect his admiration for sonic but later starts implementing his own style with some grays and blues!!

i'll also point out that i lean into more of a space-pilot design instead of the usual aviator pilot!! tbf i was raised on sonic x season 3 which is just a huge space opera.. 😅😅 but i still do love the aviator pilot concept!!

Here's just a few random headcannons cause idk, the forsaken hyperfixation has come back full force cause of Noli

-Everyone can hear the killer's chase themes, 1x composed all of them (except Noli's, he made his own). 1x actually enjoys making music, as much as a being of hate can enjoy anyway

-Two Time is the tallest survivor, they're uncannily tall, despite this they're really light, easy to pick up

-Taph is a kleptomaniac and has stolen from the other survivors and even the killers, Noli looks away for one second and suddenly Taph has the Void Star. Builderman is the only person Taph hasn't stolen anything from

-Post-Forsaken Two time would end up in a wheelchair, the whole second life process would definitely cause some chronic back pain, probably also shoulder and hip pain which catches up to them after Forsaken

-Noli is like a kenku from D&D, he can only repeat phrases he's heard before, he doesn't have his own voice. He can also perfectly mimic sounds he's heard like the beeping of tripmines and Builderman's buildings, that skill makes his hallucinations much worse to deal with

I could probably elaborate more on the what’s and whys at some point hhhh….

I have been thinking about Scott’s ability. Obviously, I want their powers to mimic the ones they had in wildlife. Cause it’s a wildlife au. But I really want him to have shape shifting in general not just animals. I’m thinking drawback wise tho.

He can shift fully into any animal, for any length of time, usually used for spying and distractions.

He can also ‘merge the animal dna with his own’ (but not like fully if that makes sense) to give him the features of animals, he usually uses that in battle for stuff like, claws for fighting, like, dog ears for enhanced hearing. :^ without a time limit, but it’s just exhausting to keep up, the ability kinda snaps off if he looses focus. He’s gotta be hella locked in or really emotional/passionate to have multiple features at once.

When it comes to complete humans.. there’s a big cooldown Due to it being a very big mental drain trying to replicate a ‘false human appearance’. (Even the iconic blue hair he uses with his villain costume wears him out to have consistently. He’s just tired a lot lmaooo)

But anyway, animals and animal features, small appearance changes etc hair , although tiring, can use for as long as he likes. If he’s disguising as a whole different preexisiting human, he can only keep it for about 10 minutes before it automatically switches him back.

Also words about Cleo… she can raise the dead to do her evil doings /silly but truthful HSHS . Both zombie humans and zombie animals. She rode into battle on a zombie horse before. She’s just cool like that.

No one’s sure if she is ‘spawning in’ brand new undead creatures, or if they were previously living. No one really wants to ask. And she doesn’t talk about her abilities much, especially outside of battle plans

SO... BUGGY FNAF KART GAME HUH... i watched some videos and to be honest, the artstyle rocks...,,aside from some quality inconsistencies, i think it's pretty good!

so i kinda had to make mimic mimicmi mimc......... and this one's quite different from the usual since i hugged closer to the canon/accurate mimi design, give or take some few details from my interpretation. he's weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, i mainly used the flaf mangle & springtrap as references!!! AND, here are some design notes from studying the models and art a tad:

- big, dark eye rings - eyes are big and round but not that circular - very round, but can be sharp and angular when needed - body and legs are usually around 1.5 heads tall each?? (kinda broke it here, mimic too long...) - cartoony and expressive, quite simplified - BIG round endo joints

i think i nailed it mostly, i ALREADY draw mimic all silly cartoony so i know just how to stylize and simplify him :] just had to start from scratch and stay close to refs

I was around Hilda's age when I got pregnant, too. I wasn't expecting it. I wasn't ready. My life was just beginning, and I had no money, and I had just escaped from a household that wasn't being very kind to me. I was NOT ready to be a parent. I was extremely distressed. My partner and I talked about it. We decided that, although it broke our hearts... it wouldn't be fair to bring up a child in the circumstances we were living in. We promised that one day we would try again, when things were better, when we'd both grown up a bit. So I booked an appointment, shamefully borrowed $1,000 from a friend, had a surgery... and I wasn't pregnant any more. And that was 9 years ago. I am still sad about it, because I think about what my child would look like, what their favourite animal would be, what their favourite food would have been. I will never know.

In those 9 years, I've been living my life. I'm 30 now, and I have only just started to feel like I understand myself, and what's important in life, and how to participate in the world. I am strong, I am brave, I am good.

But it's not the end of my story. I still get to look forward to meeting my child. I feel capable of raising a kind, gentle, creative child that becomes a passionate, strong, thoughtful adult. The thing is, although they were still overwhelming for me, my circumstances then were so much better than Hilda's are now. I had food, I had a safe place to live, our hospitals are free and operational. I WISH Hilda had that privilege right now. How will she cope, if she's already struggling to find food, taking vitamins in place of meals because she has no other choice? If her tent is already flooding, her bedding soaking wet and freezing cold? Will she have a safe birth with medical care, or will she be alone and afraid and in pain? Maybe Hilda would make the same decision I made, if she had the choice. I think she's very brave. I know she's very lovely. I have no doubt that if her child makes it into this world, she'll do an excellent job with the limited resources that she's got. I would be overjoyed to know that her soul carries on in the spirit of the next generation. I would hope so dearly that her child might grow up in a safe environment, that the war will end soon, that this crisis is something that her child is taught ABOUT, rather than having to live through and experience firsthand. I hope so. I really hope so. What I do know is that we are Hilda's best hope to survive this monumental life change, as safely and comfortably as possible. Whatever happens, I want her to know that she is loved and supported. That she matters, and so does her unborn child, whether they make it into this world or not. That they are worth fighting for. Give a little, or give a lot.

CopyKat came later to join the group after basing them on @havockingboo 's mimic species.

The idea just stuck after realizing they are the silliest cat alien in the galaxy. Their character is literally every cat meme rolled into one.

Already planning on writing a comic for the trio. So if they would have any major villains it's THESE GUYS!

Brutus and Deoxy were developed by both me and my partner after we realized that if they're gonna fight bad guys. They should have some bad guys!

Took a while to make them and figure out what exact aliens we wanted for these guys!

But orugh the final result for them so far has been good :]

Deoxy still has a long way to go.

But Brutus is perfect.

You're a support phighter who had just joined the program, with your gear being healing potions.

And oh, you're dating one of the other phighters, Rocket!

You and Rocket, quite the duo!

"Rocket! You've gotta stop blowing yourself up!" You yell, hurling a healing potion at him. It shatters on impact, the shards discintegrating into thin air.

"Yeah, but it's efficient! And my limbs are intact!" He replies, as he launches himself in the air.

You sigh dramatically, pulling out more potions from your stash to pelt at the other phighters on your team.

"Chucking potions, huh? Quite the method there!" Valk, one of the announcers states, voice ringing throughout the stadium.

After you exit the locker rooms, Rocket comes running up to you.

"Baby! You did amazing! It was so funny when you threw a potion at Sling, and it went like- KABOOM!" He says, using his hands to mimic an explosion.

"I know, right?!" You exclaim with a giggle, throwing your hands in the air victoriously.

"You wanna get ice cream to celebrate?"

"HELL YEAH!" You cheer, sprinting towards the ice cream shop you two frequented.

"They sure are a pair, huh?" Sword states in amusement, watching Rocket chase after you.

You were also.. a prankster. A menace, as your unsuspecting victims would call you.

"...So is there a reason why shuriken is currently speedwalking towards us with a murderous glint in his eyes?" Rocket asks.

"Oh-! I almost forgot about that!"

"About wha-"

He's cut off abruptly by Shuriken, clearly annoyed.

"It was you, wasn't it!" He pulled out a hunk of about 6 shurikens, all glued together.

There's a short pause, before both you and Rocket burst out in a giggling fit.

Well, you help him unstick all his shurikens. You're not heartless, after all.

But you still feel that tinge of satisfaction watching Shuriken walk away with an embarassed huff, mumbling something under his breath.

Because of this, Zuka didn't like you at first.

You were loud, and he viewed you as annoying for quite a while.

That is, until he saw you and his son, out on a date.

Rocket looked so.. happy. So at peace.

"Honey, you have something on your cheek!"

Before you had any time to react, he quickly kissed your cheek. He used his free hand to reach for your ice cream, snatching it as he giggled nonstop.

"HEY-! C'mere, you!" You pull him close, planting a kiss on his lips. As you pull back from the kiss, you laugh at his flustered expression.

Zuka smiled slightly, seeing you both so happy.

"You have no idea how happy you make me, starlight. ♡"

General

Switch, but very aggressively lee-coded when it comes down to it—he’ll never admit it, though 😤

Most ticklish spots are his sides, ribs, and underarms (like, don’t even look at those spots or he’s already twitchy), but his feet and ears are also major weak points

His laugh is erratic, crackly, and wild—sometimes loud and barking, sometimes wheezy and breathless depending on how deep you get him

SO reactive. Just a poke and he’s already squirming and yelling “HEY—DON’T YOU DARE!!”

His supercharged energy makes it worse—he’s hypersensitive and high-strung, so everything feels like it’s dialed up to 11 ⚡

Constantly trying to fight it (both physically and mentally) which only makes it more fun to mess with him~

💥 Lee!Fleetway 💥

Tickling him is like setting off fireworks—he explodes into motion, laughter, and half-screamed protests the second it starts

“I’m not ticklish!! I’M NOT—GAHAHA!! SHUT UP—!!”

He tries SO hard to act like he’s unfazed, but he’s a total disaster the moment you hit a weak spot (ribs or feet? Instant meltdown)

Gets super flustered when teased about enjoying it, and will definitely threaten revenge through half-giggled snarls like “You’re DEAD when this is over—”

But never actually gets revenge. Because he keeps letting it happen. Again. And again. 👀

Trashes around so much you often have to pin or trap him—bonus if he’s got his arms up somewhere and can’t escape 🌀

His body crackles with chaotic energy when overstimulated—it’s like trying to tickle a live wire, but that just makes it more fun

If someone calls him “cute” while tickling him?? Short circuits. Shuts down. Tries to play it off with angry flailing but he’s glowing

Secretly loves when someone he trusts (like Tails or Classic Sonic) gives him tickles that slowly wear down his walls and let him relax for once—he’ll deny it forever tho

🔥 Ler!Fleetway 🔥

Unrelenting. Absolutely ruthless. And loud about it. You’ll know you’re doomed the moment he smirks and cracks his knuckles

“Ooh~ what’s this? Someone’s got a little weak spot, huh?” is the last thing you hear before you’re in tickle purgatory

He’s chaotic and fast—zipping all over your body with scribbles, pokes, and zaps of teasing static to keep you laughing without a break

Lives for reactions and teasing. He’ll mock your laugh, mimic your pleading voice, and cackle as you beg him to stop

Surprisingly clever with his technique—he doesn’t just go wild, he learns your weak spots and exploits them with scary precision

Will 100% say things like “Aww, poor thing~ look at you squirming~” while revving up the tickle attacks

He’s at his most dangerous when he’s in a playful mood (aka the least safe time to be around him)

That said, he can be gentle in extremely rare cases—like if he knows someone’s feeling low, he’ll still tease, but tone it down for the sake of comfort (he pretends he’s doing it for fun but he cares, secretly)

Once again, thank you so much for supporting "Echoes of a Turnabout: Franziska von Karma"! We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to play the game's demo, to comment on our itch page, or to leave a rating and review! It means the world to us and we can't stress that enough!

Unfortunately, while we originally were shooting for a full game release in January 2025, it seems that that short of a timeframe to finish development was too ambitious--especially for a passion project many of us are working on in our free time. As such, the team has decided to push back the release date for the full version of this Franziska von Karma fangame until it has been polished, fully play-tested, and ready to go for your enjoyment.

We're grateful for your understanding and patience as we make this difficult decision.

At this point in the game's development process, however, we are excited to share that we:

- have only one character sprite left to render - have finished rendering all additional evidence - have written over 12,000 more words since our last devlog update -  are in the process of finalizing the look and function of our "dossier" system (to mimic the "court record" in canon AA games)

So we're getting closer and closer to the finish line day-by-day! (Even if that make take a few more days than we originally planned...)

We're still hoping for an early 2025 release, though, and hope you stay tuned as we continue to update you on Echoes of a Turnabout's development!​
