I managed to make myself sad about yet another awful character.

So… When Pharazôn was a kid (also: how do the kings' names work? He *was* called Pharazôn as a kid, right??? And his family on that one side would call him Callion but we'll get there) he was friends with Amandil. And we're talking real, actual friends. That is in the Fall of Numenor book, even if not fully in the Silm.

He was hanging out with the Faithful in Andunie, even as a young man (teenager at least) he and Miriel kinda fell for each other. He was a great guy, I suppose. Or at least a Boromir-like guy (brave, hot headed, but a great friend).

But his father messed him up and then he doubled down himself on "I'll make myself a great Numenorian who never listens to any of my good impulses because that's what being a Numenorean is".

Also, if he was named "the golden" as a child, I'm sure ha had gold hair. You know, like Earendil (and Tuor). Numenoreans were an ethnic mix, he could have had golden hair.

So, the list of idiots extends.

All these haters, including Lesyle Headland, make the Jedi bashing even worse because the Jedi are inspired by inspired by Asian culture, aka my people's culture and religion. Buddhism is NOT Catholicism. And to see the Jedi portrayed by an Asian woman in episode 5 get horrifically killed by Darth Annoying Asshole aka Qimir (who is portrayed by an Asian man also), Master Sol portrayed by a Asian man, and there's a Brendok witch who died in episode 7, and portrayed by Amy Tsang, an Asian woman, plus all the awful Jedi hate ("the Jedi are BAD, confirmed" NO THEY AREN'T!!!) just makes me wonder about how Disney, a Western company (run by several racist, ignorant assholes) and Lesyle Headland (thst racist BITCH) makes me really wonder about how white Westerners feel about Asians. My people and their culture deserve better than how white Westerners treated them!!!

#ITS SUCH AN INTERRSTING LANGUAGE TOO the number of other languahe influences is crazy #i wld LOVEEE to know more abt hlhow the grammer and vocab is effected bt them #it more or less uses english as a base #but words like me/my/I/etc. are all simplified to “mi” (I THINK) rather than having multiple versions #would be interested if thats how west african languages work or if thats jusy a product of it being a creole #the participles are so interesting too #the function to cobjugate verbs but work entirly differently than that of english #i wonder again if thats an infkuence of west african languages #then there are paticiples like “fi” which have a TON of different uses where english ones tend to only have one #it expresses posession or obligation. it can be used as “for” in some cases. so cool #I mentioned this with “mi” but often the pronouns dont have much change between like. position #i forgot the word. I mean like “He” and “Him” are the same word (im)#“they” “them” and “their” are all the same too (dem)#theres also a plural you which I always enjoy #it has a lot of notabke similarities to spanish esp. jn the different “to be” verbs #which is cool bcs I wld usually thnk it wld be omitted from a pidgin and creole #it does have spanisha and portuguese jnfkuence but considering its mainly english and west african languages it makes me wonder if #WA languages also have that equative abd locative “to be” verb
