The Glam Life: daily routines for a polished life. 💋

Sunday: Reset & Reflect Start with a deep cleanse—face mask, detox tea, and a peaceful journal session. Reflect on the past week, set intentions for the next, and list three things you’re grateful for. This is your day to unwind, reset, and prep for success.
Monday: Fresh Blowout & Big Shades Start the week strong with a fresh blowout. Smooth, glossy, and ready to conquer. Pair with oversized sunglasses for that mysterious, empowered look. Bring an extra boost by planning a bold outfit that makes you feel invincible.
Tuesday: Brows & Browsing Shape your brows to perfection—it’s a small detail that makes a huge impact on your overall look. Afterward, treat yourself to a quick scroll through your favorite style inspiration, bookmarking anything that makes you feel iconic. Style starts with inspiration.
Wednesday: Mani & Diamond Shine Keep your nails sharp and sophisticated, opting for a classic French or deep red. Slip on a ring or two (or five). Hands tell a story, so make sure yours speak of elegance and confidence. Midweek is the perfect time to touch up on hydration, too—think hand creams and cuticle oils.
Thursday: Exfoliate & Hydrate Buff away the week’s worries with a luxe body scrub, followed by a rich, hydrating body lotion or oil. Glowing, smooth skin radiates confidence, so keep it moisturized and ready to be admired. Pair with a hydrating face mask to keep everything refreshed.
Friday: Glow Serum, Gloss, & Signature Scent Skip the self-tan and reach for a brightening glow serum instead. This will give your skin a fresh, natural radiance that looks effortlessly luminous. Follow with a glossy lip and your signature scent to add allure. Enter the weekend looking polished, radiant, and ready to take on any room with grace and confidence.
Saturday: Active Beauty & Leisure Today, beauty meets movement. Whether it’s a dance class, yoga, or a brisk walk, get active and enjoy the natural glow that follows. Afterward, embrace leisure: light a candle, sip on your favorite drink, and give yourself permission to relax with a facial roller or a nourishing hair mask. You deserve it.
Each day brings a fresh intention and a luxurious touch to keep you feeling powerful and radiant all week long. It's a full week of showing up as your best self—stylish, strong, and completely in your element.

୨♡୧ how to deal with academic burnout | guide by mindy ୨♡୧

hiiiii faustina ♡ @milkoomi
thank you for your sweet message, angel! i'm so touched that you've been enjoying my content. i absolutely love the content you've been posting!!!! your question about academic burnout is so important, and i want to share my personal experience and tips that have helped me through those challenging times. this post will be a bit lengthy, since it's an important topic and i want to give you the best answer to your question possible!! <333 thank you so much for asking this faustina, hopefully this post can help you!
⋆。°✩ understanding academic burnout ⋆。°✩
first, let's acknowledge that burnout is completely normal and valid. it's your mind and body telling you that something needs to change. i've been there multiple times, especially during exam seasons, and i've learned that recognizing the signs early is crucial.
signs i've noticed in my journey:
↳ feeling disconnected from your studies ↳ overwhelming exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix ↳ losing interest in subjects you usually love ↳ difficulty concentrating on simple tasks ↳ emotional sensitivity about academics ↳ physical symptoms like headaches or tension
⋆。°✩ immediate steps for relief ⋆。°✩
when i feel burnout creeping in, these are my go-to immediate actions:
gentle reset ritual: ↳ close all study materials (put everything away, close tabs) ↳ make a cup of chamomile tea (or any tea) ↳ step outside for fresh air (even just 5 minutes) ↳ put on soft instrumental music or a calm playlist ↳ light a lavender candle
physical reset: ↳ take a warm shower ↳ change into cozy clothes ↳ do light stretches ↳ practice deep breathing ↳ give yourself a facial massage
⋆。°✩ long-term healing strategies ⋆。°✩
here's my detailed approach to recovering from burnout:
schedule reformation: ↳ implement a "sunset time" for studying ↳ create designated rest days ↳ break study sessions into 25-minute chunks ↳ schedule joy breaks between subjects ↳ use time blocking instead of to-do lists
environment refresh: ↳ rearrange your study space ↳ declutter desk and materials ↳ bring in plants or fresh flowers ↳ change your study location occasionally ↳ create a cozy corner for breaks
mindset shifts: ↳ replace "i must" with "i choose to" ↳ celebrate small progress ↳ practice self-compassion ↳ set realistic expectations ↳ remember grades don't define worth
⋆。°✩ my secret recovery techniques ⋆。°✩
these are some personal methods i've developed:
the "joy subject" method: ↳ study one subject you genuinely enjoy ↳ approach it with curiosity, not pressure ↳ use creative study methods ↳ connect it to your personal interests ↳ share what you learn with others
the "aesthetic reset": ↳ create a new study playlist ↳ buy one special stationery item ↳ write notes in a different style ↳ change your study spot aesthetics ↳ start a fresh notebook
the "gentle productivity" approach: ↳ focus on learning, not achieving ↳ use the "just 5 minutes" rule ↳ incorporate movement between tasks ↳ practice mindful studying ↳ reward small accomplishments
⋆。°✩ preventive measures ⋆。°✩
to prevent future burnout:
daily practices: ↳ morning journaling ↳ evening reflection ↳ regular movement breaks ↳ nature connection time ↳ social connection
weekly rituals: ↳ sunday planning sessions ↳ midweek check-ins ↳ study-free evenings ↳ creative hobby time ↳ self-care dates
schedule reformation (detailed breakdown):
implement a "sunset time" for studying: create a strict cut-off time for academic work, ideally 2-3 hours before bed. i personally stop at 7:30pm, allowing my mind to fully disconnect. this creates a gentle boundary between study time and rest time, helping your brain develop a natural rhythm.
designated rest days: choose specific days (i recommend wednesdays and sundays) where studying is completely off-limits. use these days for hobby exploration, friend dates, or simply existing without academic pressure. treat these as non-negotiable appointments with yourself.
25-minute study chunks: this isn't just regular pomodoro - i recommend theming each chunk (like "active recall," "concept mapping," or "question creation") and using different colored lights or scents for each theme. this helps your brain compartmentalize different types of learning.
joy breaks between subjects: schedule 10-15 minute "joy snippets" between different subjects. during these breaks, do something that brings pure happiness - dance to one song, water your plants, draw a tiny doodle, or write one page in your journal. these act as palate cleansers for your brain.
time blocking vs. to-do lists: instead of overwhelming lists, create time "containers" for different activities. color-code these blocks and leave intentional buffer zones between them. i use a special system: pink blocks for challenging subjects, blue for review, and lavender for creative work. i recommend using notion calendar or google calendar if you prefer digital planning.
environment refresh (expanded guide):
rearrange study space: shift your desk position according to natural light patterns. create different zones for different activities - a reading nook, a writing station, and a review corner. this helps your brain associate specific spaces with specific tasks.
declutter with intention: sort materials by energy level required - keep high-energy tasks at eye level, calming activities in lower drawers. use the "touch it once" rule: every item should have a designated home. implement a "one in, one out" policy for study materials.
living elements: choose plants that purify air (like snake plants or peace lilies). position them at your periphery vision points. bonus tip: name your plants and talk to them about what you're studying - it sounds silly but it helps with information retention!
location rotation: map out 5-7 different study spots with different energy levels. libraries for deep focus, cafes for light review, parks for creative thinking. rotate through them based on your energy levels and study needs. this is so fun!!! i imagine i live in stars hollow when i do this <333
cozy corner creation: design a specific "burnout recovery station" with comfort items: soft blankets, inspiration cards, comfort snacks, and a gratitude journal. this becomes your safe space when overwhelm hits.
mindset shifts (detailed approach):
language transformation: create a personal dictionary replacing pressure words with gentle alternatives. instead of "deadline" use "timeline," instead of "must complete" use "choose to explore." keep this list visible during study sessions.
progress celebration ritual: end each study session by writing one small win on a pretty note card. collect these in a "victory jar." when burnout hits, reading through these becomes a powerful reminder of your capability.
self-compassion practice: develop a "study self-care menu" with different options for different situations. categorize them by time needed: 5-minute resets, 15-minute refreshers, and 30-minute renewals. include both active and passive options.
expectation recalibration: use the "reality check journal" method - write down your expectations, then create three different versions: ideal scenario, acceptable outcome, and minimum viable progress. this helps break perfectionist patterns.
grade perspective shift: create a "whole life pie chart" showing all aspects of your identity beyond academics. update this monthly to maintain perspective. keep it visible during study sessions as a reminder of your multi-faceted existence.
⋆。°✩ advanced burnout prevention toolkit ⋆。°✩
emotional regulation techniques: ↳ create a "feelings first" check-in system ↳ develop personal stress signals recognition ↳ implement energy tracking methods ↳ practice boundary setting scripts ↳ maintain an academic emotion diary
physical wellbeing integration: ↳ design movement + snack breaks between studies ↳ create subject-specific stretching routines ↳ implement desk yoga sequences ↳ practice eye strain prevention exercises ↳ develop study-friendly hydration systems
social support cultivation: ↳ build a study buddy network ↳ create accountability partnerships ↳ schedule regular check-in calls ↳ join study-focused communities ↳ develop support circle protocols
academic burnout isn't a reflection of your capabilities or worth. it's simply a sign that you need to adjust your approach and care for yourself differently. take these suggestions slowly, implementing what feels right for you.
sending you the gentlest hugs and healing energy. remember that this phase will pass, and you'll emerge stronger and wiser. feel free to message me anytime if you need more specific advice or just want to talk.
with warmth and care, mindy ♡

Blue and Fire Engine Red Pt 8
Kara tries to pivot them back towards the normal they’ve established so far. After all, nothing for her has changed– Lena is still a hero, and Kara still… Kara still wants to love her. But she can sense the difference in the way Lena behaves towards her. Responses to Kara’s texts over the following days come fewer and farther between, personable enough but lacking the spark they’d held before. Soon, Kara realizes that what little communication there is, Lena’s stopped initiating.
There’s a wall between them, even when they manage to sneak a dinner together midweek. Lena’s smiles are thin, distant, like a wall has been erected between them. Lena guards herself now in a way she hadn’t before, and the longer Kara lets it be, hoping things will naturally drift back to the way it was, the more Lena pulls away.
Finally, on a night Lena begs off a meet up due to pulling an extra shift at the firehouse, Kara goes to visit her– only to find Lena not there and not ever scheduled to be on duty. A finger of icy dread creeps down Kara’s spine as she drives to Lena’s.
When she arrives, she pounds on Lena’s door. “Lena! It’s me! Open up!”
There’s music from inside, loud and angry and patent evidence that Lena is within. She pounds again and again, then ceaselessly until finally she hears the lock snick back. The door opens, revealing Lena sweating and flushed, hands wrapped for boxing.
This time, Lena doesn’t bother to feign interest in Kara’s presence. Her eyes remain dark, features stormy when she retreats back inside without a word, leaving the door open to follow if she wishes.
The music continues to blast from the mid-sized speaker in the corner, soon accompanied by the beat of Lena’s fists slamming into the punching bag again and again. Kara waits a moment for Lena to pause and catch her breath, but she continues without flagging, until Kara loses her patience and yanks the speaker’s power cord from the wall.
It does nothing to slow Lena’s pace. The force of her blows swings the bag to one side then the other, to the point that it rattles Kara’s bones when she moves to brace it. Still, she refuses to back down.
“We need to talk,” she states with a calm she doesn’t quite feel.
“So talk,” Lena huffs, jabbing with an uppercut that nearly knocks Kara back a step. Kara doesn’t relent.
“I said we.”
Lena’s jaw visibly clenches, and she finally breaks away from the bag, breathing heavily. Kara hesitates, suddenly unsure what to say to navigate the storm gathering around Lena. She crosses her arms over her chest to steady herself.
“Shutting me out after I told you I wouldn’t push is a dick move.”
Lena snorts. “Yet here you are.”
“Because I care about you. Respecting your boundaries doesn’t mean I have to just stand there as you drift away. Not after everything–”
“Everything? Everything over, what, a month? How special.”
“Don’t,” Kara growls. “Don’t trivialize how I feel, and don’t you dare pretend you don’t feel it too.”
“And so what if I do?!” Lena’s shout cuts through the air. “Compatibility consists of more than just good sex–”
“Oh fuck you,” Kara snaps back. She takes a step forward even as Lena moves back. She sighs. “Look. I know I pressed closer than you were ready for. I’m sorry.” She gazes at Lena, searching for her girlfriend beyond the anger. “Could we just– reset?”
“Reset? Really?”
Kara nods. “Yeah. Because one month or no, I like you, Lena. And that’s all I’m asking for. You.”
That at least, seems to give Lena pause. She hesitates, brow furrowing as she studies Kara. In the end though, her gaze slides away once more. Kara’s heart falls.
“It’s not that simple,” Lena murmurs.
“And that is 100% your choice,” Kara shoots back. Complicated doesn’t have to be complicated if Lena doesn’t want it to be. If she does, Kara doesn’t care. “I’m not looking for simple.”
Lena scowls, but says nothing. Kara scowls right back.
“You have trauma. Trust me, I get it. But you don’t get to punish me for caring about you.” At that, Lena nearly flinches, guilt flashing behind her eyes as she looks away. “And waiting for me to drift away is just mean.”
Lena still doesn’t say anything, but now it feels less guarded and more at a loss for words.
“I get that you’re not ready to share, okay? And I get that you may never want to. I just want to be the one there if you do. That is what I’m looking for.”
When silence answers her yet again, Kara loses patience. “And if that’s not something you want– if I am not what you want, fine. But at least have the balls to tell me outright.”
With that, Kara turns on her heel and storms out. She’s just jabbed the button for the elevator when she hears a door open behind her. “Kara!”
Turning, Kara sees Lena standing in the middle of the hallway. Her anger seems to have evaporated, leaving her bereft of anything more to say. The elevator dings open behind Kara, and she has half a mind to enter it out of spite, but her heart speaks louder. She retraces her steps back down the hall, drifting to a stop in front of Lena. She waits.
Lena takes a breath to speak, then another, but nothing comes out. Green eyes meet Kara’s, as though imploring her to understand whatever it is she can’t say. Though the ball of anger in her gut cools, she stands firm.
“I’m not a mind reader,” she says.
Exhaling, Lena closes her eyes. Again, her words seem to fail her, but Kara gives her time to gather herself. Finally, Lena rallies against whatever ties her tongue.
“I like you,” she says, her voice low. “More– more than I should.”
Kara frowns– she doesn’t necessarily like the sound of that. But at least it’s honest.
“I don’t– jesus.” Lena wipes the sweat from her upper lip, her frustration plain. “There are things… things I never want you to know.”
In spite of herself, the words kick Kara in the chest. She means it when she says she doesn’t need Lena’s past. But she does want her trust. Kara releases a breath. “I told you I don’t care.”
Lena shakes her head. Suddenly, Kara realizes it’s not the only part of Lena that shakes. Her hands tremble, as much as Lena tries to hide it by picking at her hand wraps.
“You say that now–”
Kara’s features harden. “Don’t insult me by comparing me to anyone else, and don’t you dare assume for me that I’ll change my mind.”
Lena swallows audibly, and only then does Kara realize the anguish in Lena’s posture. She’s never seen Lena like this, and she knows Lena had pulled away from her because drifting away was the easiest way to let her go. But right now, Lena is facing the most difficult path– for her. Kara softens.
“Hey,” she says, reaching out to still Lena’s fidgeting hands. “We’ve been having a good time, haven’t we?”
Lena exhales, nodding. “Yeah,” she breathes.
“And we were having a good time before Hector told me anything, and without me knowing anything you don’t want me to know. We can keep this going without it.”
“But…”
“If anything changes, for either of us, we can have this conversation again.”
Lena frowns. “It’ll be harder then. To let you go.”
Kara offers her a thin smile. “That’s the risk we take, when we decide to share any part of ourselves with another person. But I promise you– all I want is now, with you. Now, and however much of the future we get.”
The next thing she knows, warm lips press against hers. Lena’s mouth is soft, transferring the salt of her sweat to Kara’s tongue. Wrapped hands frame Kara’s face, before Lena’s forehead rests against hers.
“I want that too,” Lena breathes. “God, I want that so much.”
Kara hears the shake in her whisper, the tremble in Lena’s hands against her skin. She’s afraid, Kara realizes. Truly afraid. Questions and dread bubble in Kara’s chest, but she tamps them down, curling her fingers around Lena’s and giving them a firm squeeze.
“Then let’s do it. Together.”
Lena takes another quaking breath.
“Okay.”

Greetings Folx! This week holds uniting energies, some life level changes, and, healing For the week of November 11, 2024 💚 The week begins with the energy of The Lovers; love creating a union of two definitive parts; a union of people, energies, ideas, or even, parts of yourself.
It will require you to reconcile your emotions over what will change because of the union, and what you will have to let go in order to unite two into one. Your heart or your head, past or present; whatever the choice, look at it with love and choose what your heart desires, for your highest good. The right choice will be made if you have accepted others and yourself. Where the choice brings you joy, let it radiate through you; spread the love. 💙 Midweek, you may find a sudden, unexpected shift in your status quo. Typically, this appears in an area that supports the structure of your routine, or beliefs, requires you to reassess what you think is true, and/or ‘right’, and creates a need for new structures, beliefs, and plans. Like a Jenga puzzle, sometimes pulling a piece away causes a small tremor and sometimes, it can bring down the whole structure. Whether it’s a small shift, or a rude awakening, try to see the change as a beneficial ‘reset’; the Universe pulling down what doesn’t work for you so you can see new possibilities. Once the fault in the structure is exposed, you can see the truth, and choose how to move forward. 🧡 The weekend offers balance, and opportunities for renewal, and healing. Temperance is about the alchemy, or delicate blend of energy and focus required to keep all aspects of your life on the right track. This may be a good time to focus on any deeper personal issues you have been putting aside; time to work through them and integrate them; to heal.
Wherever you decide to focus your energy, do it with courage and the knowledge that the Universe supports your endeavours to embrace your highest good and highest healing. Gus an ath thuras (Until next time), Darlings. Have a wonderful week Peace Out

What to expect from the stock market this week

Last week, the review of the macro market indicators saw with just one full week of trading to go ahead of the election and November FOMC meeting, equity markets were set to go into the week after one of choppy trading. Elsewhere looked for Gold ($GLD) to continue its uptrend while Crude Oil ($USO) consolidated at the bottom of a broad range. The US Dollar Index ($DXY) continued to move to the upside while US Treasuries ($TLT) pulled back in consolidation. The Shanghai Composite ($ASHR) looked to continue the short term move higher while Emerging Markets ($EEM) consolidated in their young uptrend.
The Volatility Index ($VXX) looked to remain low and stable making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. Their charts looked strong, especially on the longer timeframe. On the shorter timeframe both the $QQQ and $SPY had reset on momentum measures as they moved sideways. The $IWM continued to disappoint with another sputtered break out reversing.
The week played out with Gold ripping to a new all-time high before profit taking left it little changed on the week while Crude Oil gapped down Monday and slowly recovered through Friday. The US Dollar met resistance and consolidated at the late July high while Treasuries held in a tight range consolidating the pullback. The Shanghai Composite shifted to consolidating the move higher while Emerging Markets continued to drift lower threatening the short term uptrend.
Volatility ticked up to touch recent resistance and held. This put pressure on equities midweek and they pulled back Wednesday and Thursday before a bounce Friday. This resulted in the SPY breaking its 5 month winning streak in October and the QQQ falling just short of retesting the all-time high. The IWM continued in its own world moving mostly sideways. What does this mean for the coming week? Let’s look at some charts.
SPY Daily, $SPY
The SPY came into the week consolidating near the all-time high and above the 20 day SMA on the daily chart. It continued to hold there in a tight trading range through Wednesday. Thursday saw it gap down through the 20 day SMA and run to the 50 day SMA and lower end of the Bollinger Bands®. This was the 1st touch of the 50 day SMA in 6 weeks. It held there with an inside day Friday, a possible bottom signal. The RSI also pulled back, bouncing at the September low, and remaining in the bullish zone. The MACD is dropping but positive.
The weekly chart shows a second down week with a longer body candle. It remains well above the 20 week SMA though in healthy territory. The RSI on this timeframe is pulling back in the bullish zone with the MACD looking to cross down and positive. There is support lower at 565.50 and 556.50 then 549.50 and 545.50 before 542. Resistance higher is at 571.50 and 574.50 then 580 and 585. Pause in Uptrend.
SPY Weekly, $SPY
With October in the books and heading into the election and FOMC meeting, equity markets experienced a Halloween spooking. Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its uptrend while Crude Oil consolidates at the bottom of a broad range. The US Dollar Index looks to consolidate in its uptrend while US Treasuries pullback in their consolidation. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the short term move higher while Emerging Markets pullback in their uptrend.
The Volatility Index looks to remain at a neutral level, above the base established this year, likely at least until after the election. This could make for choppy light trading for equity markets to start next week. Their charts look strong on the longer timeframe though. On the shorter timeframe both the QQQ and SPY have reset momentum measures lower and could reverse or turn bearish, likely a couple of days’ time will tell. The IWM does not seem concerned about an election or Fed policy churning sideways. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

Midweek Fic Rec
Welcome back everybody. This week I want to recommend to everyone my favorite Steter fic that I read in 2024 - bending back by frankie_31. I'm actually so obsessed with this fic that I have been sending it to my irl friends who have never watched teen wolf and making them read it. I've even spent the last couple of weeks making a teen wolf explained powerpoint to show my irl friends so that they can reread this fic with a better understanding of some of the references. This is a time travel fic where Stiles travels back in time and saves Laura from Peter and is sort of adopted into the Hale pack. Meanwhile Stiles is very traumatized and morally grey from his original timeline and Peter is still insane since he never died and "reset". I honestly cannot express enough how often I think about this fic in my day to day, watching these two super messed up ppl fall in love but their love is aggressive and violent because that's the only way they can express love. There is some unsafe BDSM in this fic, so heads up, but it ties into the whole "aggressive and violent love" thing.

The market melt-up is in full force as we enjoy the Thanksgiving trading week.
This is easily my favorite holiday. I get a midweek break in the market action filled with food, family, and football — without the added stress of exchanging gifts and all the cleanup that comes after a busy Christmas morning with the kids…
This year, the vibes couldn’t be more bullish. The crypto and market bulls have converged into one massive year-end rally for the ages. And with the election and major earnings announcements out of the way, there’s now little standing in the way of higher prices into 2025.
Stocks have exploded higher following the election, quickly reset, and then continued on their journey to new highs as some of the most speculative areas of the market have seized key leadership roles.
Melt-up conditions are exciting times for traders. Even better, we were totally prepared for this rally! I’ve spilled more than my share of virtual ink talking about this melt-up since the early days of fall.
If you ignored this message before, here it is, again: The market’s in the perfect spot to continue running into the holiday season – maybe even well into Q1 2025. If you’re looking to kick your trading into overdrive, now is the time to take on more risk. You could make your entire year in just a little more than four trading weeks left on the 2024 calendar.
Of course, not every holiday season triggers an automatic stock market melt-up. Sometimes, the market even reveals critical information when it fails to melt up during the final months of the year… and begins to lose ground.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m going to show you how to spot a stalled-out holiday rally. You’ll see the telltale signs of a distressed market cracking under the surface of the major averages. We’ll also review what happens after a melt-up fails…

The key phrases for the Last Quarter lunar phase are “turn away” from what we’ve been doing, and “tear down old structures that no longer serve us well.” Might not be much of a choice about anything, either, along with some nasty vibes - hopefully not from ourselves.
Sunday, September 10, 22:33 UT - Balsamic Moon, 2°57’ Leo
The key phrases for the Balsamic lunar phase are “let go of the past” and “envision the future.” We begin by insisting on having our own way, but practicality (if not generosity) eventually sets in.
Void of Course Moon
Tuesday, September 5, 16:46 UT (Taurus) - 20:07 UT (Gemini)
Thursday, September 7, 22:22 UT (Gemini) - Friday, September 8, 05:00 UT (Cancer)
Sunday, September 10, 12:47 UT (Cancer) - 16:36 UT (Leo)
Retrograde/Direct/Etc.
Pre-retrograde shadow: Vesta/Gemini
Retrograde: Mercury/Virgo, Jupiter/Taurus (starting Monday the 4th), Saturn/Pisces, Chiron/Aries, Uranus/Taurus, Neptune/Pisces, Pluto/Capricorn, Eris/Aries
Post-retrograde shadow: Venus/Leo
Transiting Jupiter stations retrograde on Monday, September 4, 14:10 UT, at 15°35’ Taurus. We’re on our own for four months.
The Sun-Mercury inferior conjunction (a big “reset” for Mercury) happens on Wednesday, September 6, 11:09 UT, at 13°37’ Virgo. We want to be sure we’re making our own decision, free of others’ manipulation.
Et Cetera
There is one Opportunity Period this week: Monday, September 4, 12:08 UT - Tuesday, September 5, 20:07 UT. “This OP is ideal for constructive and innovative projects, but Mercury retrograde and the waning Moon make it preferable to keep up with work started before mid-August.”
Midweek we may feel tired and jittery - a lot of mutable energies, all fighting each other. Take time to breathe, meditate, pray - and beware distractions. We can focus, but it’s difficult.

Today's Focus

Recent tshirts I got
06.25.25 - Can't forget my phone when I'm already home! We have made it to midweek my friends, and oh boy am I grateful for the ability to sleep a little later today. I have been so tired; we put the window AC units in last weekend and I'm having trouble adjusting. I'm not an AC girl okay? I love summer and would rather be under a sheet using a fan to stay cool with the windows open.
Work - It's a good thing it's the day that it is; I have redacting to do again and it's a lot. It's not pages; it's only like 300 pages but it's logbooks for a facility's solitary confinement unit. This means every time an inmate enters/exits a cell, it's recorded with name and inmate number. I need to redact every name/number that is not the plaintiff's. This is a lot more redacting than the documents I'm used to going through from DOCCS.
Background Noise - I'm home, so I'm using the DVR as background noise; Dad says he has something like 14 hours saved back for me and we're pretty full again so I'm going to appreciate it as I redact.
Of course, I also want to try and keep watching YT. I made it to 34 videos yesterday and I know I probably won't do that well today but I want to try.
Study - It's visual study day, which makes juggling this with redacting much easier. The DVR has six (6) hours each of 60 Minutes and CBS Sunday Morning episodes so no matter what I'll fulfill this today; on top of that I have specific YT videos I've been holding back for today.
Yesterday went off quite well. I read: four (4) press releases, four (4) sections of Shielded from Justice, an (1) essay on disasters and repetition, 14 different news articles and several pages of other articles/essays/reports I simply didn't finish.
Extras - Wednesday means I clean the catbox and vacuum the rugs; dinner is takeout but I don't know what. I'm in the mood for something similar to last week but I don't want to order from the same place. Then I have three (3) episodes of Go-Onger to watch, and my everything shower/skincare/self-care midweek reset stuff.
