A post of intersex positivity, to echo off of @status-quo-hater's post to express my own intersex joy:
I love that God created me to be born intersex. I love the many complex layers and conundrums of my intersex body and traits. I love that I have a face that can be seen as the face of a handsome woman or a beautiful man. I love that I have an androgynous talking voice that can either be high, animated and feminine or low, rich, quiet, deep and robust. I love that I have numerous overlapping and comorbid intersex variants. I love that I have both ovaries and internal undescended testes (ovotestes), and extra internal undescended testes. I love that I have streaks of body hair. I love that I have extra levels of estrogen and testosterone. I love that I have mixed and diverse chromosomes. I love that I can grow thick facial hair. I love my ability to look at myself and the world around me with a fluid gaze, and can fluidly switch between looking at everything within a feminine lens or a masculine lens, or an androgynous lens. I love that I have the intuitive ability to quietly understand and empathize with women and men equally due to me being born intersex. I love that my autism is a frequent trait in some of my intersex variants, thus making my autism and autistic neurodivergence a package deal alongside my intersex identity. I love that Jewish halakhic law acknowledges intersex folks like me and that my Jewishness and intersex identity are package deals alongside each other.
I love that my intersex body and intersex identity and expression is a complex, multilayered conundrum that other people can't put into a rigid box.
My existence is proof of my Heavenly Father's creativity, intelligence and greatness and I'm thankful for all of it. 💛💜💛💜💛💜✝️✝️

That animated bottle of Kikkomon Soy Sauce is a Funco Pop product. I kinda want one.
Oh believe me, I know. I'm not a Pop collector by any means but I do keep up with the new releases because I'm honestly kind of amused by the weird multilayered capitalism that goes into collectible figurines of forgotten advertising mascots. I've had the McDonalds Meal Squad Funko Pops sitting in my drafts folder for a while now because I can't think of a caption weirder than their blank-eyed grins; most "objects with eyes" I just say are Mimics but these are something worse. Haunted? Lingering spirits of a million discarded packages? Beings from beyond in yet another botched "we have chosen a form you would find appealing"?

Wondering the whole thing about loyalty being Percy's fatal flaw might actually be on a much more personal level rather than an encompassing "children of Poseidon"-trait.
This is to say that Percy's problem with unhealthy 'loyalty' could be a consequence of his upbringing. You see. The whole point is that Percy can be wary, yet once he deems someone an ally/ not-enemy, it's dangerously difficult for him to see them in a negative light. It's this sort of bipolar disorder but the categories are "Friend or Foe", each of which comes with a package of completely separate treatment. He put Luke in the Friend lot and he nearly died for that. He distrusted Nico but he didn't see him as an enemy and fell for the kid's trick still.
Revert back to his childhood. IIRC Percy had two parent figures growing up, i.e. Sally and Gabe. And here's a thing. They are basically two ends of the spectrum of Parenting. Gabe was an abusive, negligent, alcoholic, problematic stepfather whereas Sally was like a saint or something, who had sacrificed for him so much. So Percy had only experienced two types of attitude in his perspective-shaping phase: extremely loving and downright scornful.
This could thus limit his relationship categories, and later create a hole in his view of others' attitudes, I believe. His relationship table basically has only two columns, Friendly vs Not friendly. Percy puts people in those lots based on how they treat him, how they express themselves to him, how he sees them. But people are way more than just one facet. People can be many things at once, and so are the relationships. Percy's system is lacking, so he suffers from being twirled around in complicated, multilayer dynamics.
Imagine Percy, who only has two sets of acquaintances in his life, one of which gives him misery whilst the other fights for him, is thrown into a mess of two-faced lies and concealed intentions. He doesn't have the specialized code of reaction for that. There's no special section in his handbook dedicated to "People you need to beware of" or "These guys seem friendly, but better be safe than sorry". Once Percy has decided to put you in his mind as not an enemy - he would actively refuse to treat you as an enemy because that's not the way he does it.
And because Percy has so few 'Friends', you know, that he intrinsically, automatically puts you in the Friends column as long as he finds no hostility from you. Yeah, he has Sally, Grover, and Annabeth, but he also has Gabe and Nancy (?) and IIRC the bullies. He has always felt like he didn't fit in (no thanks to you, demigod-bonus ADHD and dyslexia). Percy has had to put too many in the unfavorable section that he, subconsciously or not, favors amicable acquaintanceships - that's why Luke got to him so effortlessly, just by treating him decently.
It's quite similar to the other category too. The best example I can come up with now is Bob/ Iapetus. Bob first made his entrance as Percy's enemy aka Iapetus, and later became harmless to him after getting his memories erased. You'd think Percy would rearrange the columns, but the fact is that Percy technically didn't even remember Bob, or Iapetus for that matter, after leaving him in Nico's care. If my theory is of any credit, I suppose Bob didn't make it into Percy's 'Friends' category, i.e. Percy hadn't considered him a friend. Bob landed in as a Foe and he stayed there in Percy's head - at least up until the Tartarus debacle.
So, like I said: a bipolar relationship classifying system.

Dear listener, it’s the end of the year, and I think I’m going to start making it a tradition to post classical music in every future December for this blog. If you’re one of the types that thinks classical music is too pretentious, too old to enjoy or too unlistenable compared to modern music --- I have an inquiry --- how listenable is modern music, really!? Back in the 1700-1800’s, this is the kind of music that represented the very pinnacle of human imagination and an organized opportunity to combine the varying musical talents of many under one singular roof… which had never been attempted in the same way before up to that point in human history. Immortal composers like Ludwig van Beethoven were able to weave the noises of many instruments into a symphony, a talent that even to this day is a rare feat for the decidedly few with only distinct and multilayered melodious talents. I like Beethoven’s work A LOT, but I like his piano sonatas the best. If you smash play above, you’ll be treated to a full version of Moonlight Sonata (Piano Sonata No. 14). I fell in love with that song when I was A KID, which should demonstrate right away how powerful the man’s tunes are. If you dig it, scroll on down for more, and happy holidays folks!
Tumblr media
The more information I read about Beethoven to put together this post, the more I began to like him and understand his mindset as a human being. We’re talking about an abused, gradually deafening wanker who managed to crank out songs that quite literally exemplified a seamless transition from Classical to Romantic era music in the Western Hemisphere. I enjoy his entire catalog because it’s everything I like about classical music all rolled into one brilliant package. Beethoven’s music is contemplative and often thinks as much as it moves and flows. When it comes to classical, I like stuff that sparks my imagination, not stuff that meanders off and peters out listlessly. Big B’s tunes had raw atmosphere going stronger in his favor than any other similar artist in my humble opinion as his music can be a totally immersive experience; often making you feel as if you’re a character in his world going through an emotional journey of sorts. Blunt and shockingly noisy in just the right mathematical places, then jaunty and light, airy, atmospheric and complex; the movements of his works are meant to trigger some very deliberate and logically timed emotions, and the extreme highs and lows of the compositions feel natural and graceful. Having the basics of musical composition beaten and smacked into him by an alcoholic father, Beethoven played his first concert when he was a mere seven years old. Ludwig was such a natural and so outrageous with his improvisational talents that he first earned a reputation as a piano virtuoso, then a performer, then a teacher (which he hated), then a shrewd businessman that would always try to make the maximal amount of money back for his auditory contributions to humanity. By all reported accounts, in his personal life Ludwig remained a bachelor, was lonely, was miserable, and fought with everyone including family as much as possible. Visual characterizations of him mostly sum him up as a steely-eyed, grumpy old twat. LvB was a flawed human, we all are. But this flawed human wrote music to honor Napoleon and stands close to historical writers like Shakespeare for his ability to accentuate the human condition through musical interpretation, maybe even inventing a few new things as he went along. He was so highly respected for his talents that he was sent by the elector of Bonn to Vienna to study with the likes of Mozart for a short time. There’s probably a lot more I could say about this classical artist but to keep things short and sweet, if you ever feel like an abused wretch that can’t possibly make a difference in this cold world, simply look at Beethoven’s works and life for inspiration. In his expansive 45-year catalog you will find lessons, a personal emotional adventure, and writhing lows punctuated with extreme effervescent highs. Just below, I found a version of his most outstanding works which I do hope you will listen to all the way through. What a FUCKIN’ GENIUS, folks! Join me next time for music by his mentor, Mozart!
youtube
If I had to submit my top three classical artists of all time, it would probably go Beethoven third place, Vivaldi second place, and Bach first place. LvB, to me, is endearing because he was darkly charismatic, a true poet with words, and made some of the most important musical contributions to humanity even as he was going deaf and later in his career, completely deaf. If that’s not worthy of being immortalized, I don’t know exactly what I can accomplish personally in my life that would hold a candle to such raw talent or devotion to one’s special craft. Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol (and Multilayer Plastic) Recycling
Ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) is a common copolymer used in packaging and medical equipment. While it is technically recyclable on its own, it is most often used in conjunction with other plastics in multilayered plastic materials. As such, EVOH is not typically considered recyclable, as separation of plastics is challenging. Most EVOH ends up regular trash streams. However, as with polymers and plastics in general, there is a growing interest in being able to recycle these materials. One particular avenue of research is the STRAP process, first published in 2020, that uses a solvent to separate out multiple plastics. Research like this is only the first step: the original work was only demonstrated on a polyethylene terephthalate, EVOH, and polyethylene film. More work needs to be done before EVOH recycling is commonplace.

OC Pride Parade (8/12)
Ferrero Geneson
Tumblr media
Everyone give it up for the only straight cis allo man in the lineup!
Some fun facts about him:
At one point had a one night stand with Hancock because why not? Don't die wondering (even if ur an immortal yellow journalist).
Still straight, but hey, might as well make sure after 200 years of not dying.
Before the war was an unscrupulous tabloid reporter.
Still views himself as that even though he's much more of an investigative journalist at this point (but he'll never admit that)
Will do anything to get a story. Even get shot in the head because he decided that delivering a courier package was the best way to get the scoop.
On the record, cannot stand Piper and hates what he refers to as her "Tabloid Reporter Masquerading as a Real Reporter" attitude
Off the record [REDACTED]
And some fun facts about his creation:
Heavily inspired by Eddie Flagrante from Zombie Prom and his big solo "That's The Beat For Me"
Likewise his first name, Ferrero, is in reference to the candy Ferrero Rocher as a multilayer reference to Zombie Prom
The last name "Geneson" is in reference to the private investigator from Arrested Development named "Gene Parmesan"
The yellow suit was actually one of my friends's idea (cause yellow journalism) (sadly i do not remember which friend haha)

EPR Registration for Plastic: Understanding CPCB Compliance
The alarming concern of plastic waste on the environment is growing in India day by day, forcing the government to take measures through regulation to address the issue. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has instituted an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme in compliance with the Plastic Waste Management Rules to manage and minimize plastic pollution. CPCB EPR plastic registration is now mandatory for all Producers, Importers, and Brand Owners (PIBOs) involved in plastic packaging under the purview of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
This article explains what CPCB EPR plastic registration involves, who needs it, how the process works, and how trusted consultants like BR & Associates can help simplify your compliance.
What is EPR Registration for Plastic?
EPR registration for Plastic is a regulatory requirement for all entities introducing plastic packaging into the Indian market. It mandates businesses to take full responsibility for post-consumer plastic waste—through collection, recycling, or disposal—ensuring that environmental damage is minimized.
EPR applies to four categories of plastic packaging:
Rigid plastic packaging
Flexible plastic packaging
Multilayered packaging
Compostable plastic packaging
Any business dealing with the above must obtain CPCB EPR plastic registration before commencing operations in India.
Who Needs EPR Application for Plastic?
Entities that fall under the EPR framework and must register with CPCB include:
Producers of plastic raw materials or packaging
Importers of packaged goods or plastic materials
Brand Owners selling products with plastic packaging
Plastic Waste Processors such as recyclers and co-processors
Without valid EPR registration for Plastic, these entities cannot manufacture, import, or sell plastic-packaged goods in India.
Steps Needed in CPCB EPR Plastic Registration
1. Data Collection and Documentation
Begin by compiling:
Company registration documents (CIN, GST, PAN)
Authorized signatory ID proofs
Product and packaging information
Previous year’s plastic waste data (if available)
2. Submit Application Online at CPCB Portal
Submit all documentation through the CPCB EPR registration portal. Applicants must enter plastic packaging types, expected annual volumes, and categorize packaging types according to CPCB guidelines.
3. EPR Action Plan Preparation
The applicant must submit an EPR Action Plan explaining how post-consumer plastic waste will be managed. This includes partnerships with CPCB-registered recyclers and processors.
4. Review and Approval
Once submitted, CPCB reviews the application and may raise queries for clarification. If found satisfactory, CPCB EPR plastic registration is granted through a certificate, legalizing the entity’s operations under the EPR mandate.
Why Need a Consultant for EPR Registration
The EPR compliance process involves complicated documentation, strict timelines, and evolving legal requirements. Mistakes or non-compliance can result in penalties or operational delays.
A professional consultant offers:
Accurate, error-free documentation

The Role of Flexible Packaging in Food Preservation and Safety
Tumblr media
In the dynamic landscape of the food industry, where innovation and sustainability are paramount, flexible packaging emerges as a star player in ensuring the preservation and safety of food products. This blog explores the pivotal role of flexible packaging solutions, delving into the significance of choosing the best flexible packaging company and understanding the advantages of multilayer flexible packaging.
The Evolution of Flexible Packaging
Flexible packaging has witnessed a remarkable evolution, transforming the way we store, transport, and consume food. This versatile packaging solution encompasses a range of materials, including films, pouches and bags, which can conform to the shape of the product and provide an effective barrier against external elements.
Preservation through Innovation
One of the key contributions of flexible packaging to food preservation is its ability to create a protective shield around the contents. Unlike traditional rigid packaging, flexible packaging solutions, often made from multilayer materials, offer enhanced barrier properties. These barriers guard against moisture, oxygen, light, and contaminants, thereby extending the shelf life of perishable items and preserving their quality.
Choosing the Best Flexible Packaging Company
Selecting the right flexible packaging company is pivotal in ensuring the effectiveness of the packaging solution. When it comes to preserving food, partnering with a reputable and reliable company is paramount. Jupiter Laminators has earned acclaim for its commitment to excellence in flexible packaging.
Consider the following factors when choosing the best flexible packaging company
Expertise and Experience:
Look for a flexible packaging company with a proven track record in the industry. Jupiter Laminators, with 20 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, ensuring the highest standards in multilayer flexible packaging.
Innovative Solutions:
The best flexible packaging companies stay ahead of the curve by offering innovative solutions. Jupiter Laminators, for instance, embraces cutting-edge technologies to provide packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of the food industry.
Sustainability Initiatives:

Multilayer Flexible Packaging
Multilayer flexible packaging stands out as a sophisticated solution that combines different materials to optimize performance. Each layer serves a specific purpose, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the packaging. For instance:
Barrier Layer:
A barrier layer, often made of materials like metallized films or aluminum foil, provides an excellent shield against oxygen and light, crucial for preserving the freshness of sensitive products.
Sealant Layer:
The sealant layer ensures a robust seal, preventing the ingress of moisture and contaminants. This is vital for maintaining the integrity of the packaged food.
Printable Surface:
The outer layer of multilayer flexible packaging is designed for printing, allowing for vibrant branding and informative labeling.
Advantages of Multilayer Flexible Packaging
Extended Shelf Life:
The combination of barrier properties in multilayer packaging significantly extends the shelf life of food products, reducing waste and ensuring a longer period of freshness.
Customization:
Multilayer flexible packaging allows for customization to meet the specific requirements of different products. This adaptability is crucial in the diverse landscape of the food industry.
Reduced Environmental Impact:
By prolonging the shelf life of products, multilayer flexible packaging contributes to reducing food waste, aligning with sustainability goals. The role of flexible packaging in food preservation and safety is undeniable. Choosing the best flexible packaging company, such as Jupiter Laminators, and embracing the innovative approach of multilayer flexible packaging are essential steps in ensuring the longevity and safety of our food supply.
As the food industry continues to evolve, flexible packaging stands as a reliable and sustainable solution, addressing the ever-growing demands of preservation and safety.

Manufacturing Process of Chipzy
Chipzy is a crispy, crunchy snack crafted with precision to deliver bold flavors and perfect crunch in every bite. Here's a step-by-step breakdown of the manufacturing process:
1. Raw Material Selection
Potatoes/Corn/Multigrain (depending on the Chipzy variant)
Only premium-grade raw materials are chosen to ensure consistent texture, taste, and quality.
2. Washing & Peeling
Potatoes (for classic variants) are thoroughly washed to remove dirt.
Automated peeling systems ensure uniformity and hygiene.
3. Slicing or Extruding
For Potato Chips: Thin, uniform slices are made using high-speed slicers.
For Extruded Snacks (like puffs, rings, sticks): Dough is prepared and extruded into specific shapes using extrusion machines.
4. Blanching (for Potato-Based Snacks)
Slices are blanched in hot water to remove excess starch and improve texture.
5. Drying
Reduces surface moisture to prevent oil absorption during frying.
6. Frying or Baking
Chips are fried in temperature-controlled oil (typically palmolein or sunflower oil) to achieve a golden, crispy texture.
For health-focused variants, baking ovens are used instead.
7. De-Oiling
Excess oil is removed using a centrifugal system or air drying.
8. Flavoring & Seasoning
Flavour powder blends are uniformly sprayed in a flavour tumbler.
9. Cooling
Chips are cooled before packaging to retain crispness and prevent moisture buildup.
10. Packaging
Nitrogen flushing is used to maintain freshness.
Packed in vibrant, multilayered foil pouches to preserve taste and texture.
