• he’d get a dog after coming back to whale island. probably an outdoor one that he’d show around the island—keeping him occupied for days.

• in fact, i think he’d always wanted one but because he was waiting most of his childhood to become a hunter/find ging, he didn’t want to raise a pet just to immediately leave for years while he searched.

• you know when you’re mad at someone, so you don’t talk for days? he’s the kind of person who would practically force you to interact with him unintentionally.

• like he’d wake you up for breakfast or call you when he heads to the market to ask what you want—forgetting you’re supposed to be fighting.

killua

• he had restricted media access growing up, so now he loves binge watching shows and movies.

• of course, everything is better for him when you’re around, so he’d force you to watch them with him. the perfect afternoon for him is gathering some snacks and watching whatever for hours, and he might even let you be cuddly.

• he has a lot of twisted ideas about what love looks like. there would be moments where he feels like you don’t love him because you’re not as overbearing and controlling as kikyo/illumi.

kurapika

• finds the sound of breathing very soothing, especially his s/o’s—sometimes while you sleep he’ll just lie beside you, watching your chest rise and fall and listening to your breaths.

• he’s pretty tenderheaded, so if you ever try to brush his hair or run your fingers through it while it’s tangled, he’d ask you to stop.

• adding onto that; i feel like you’d have to be very, very close for him to eventually allow it. the action would just remind him too much of being a child and having his hair taken care of by his mother.

leorio

• loves jazz and oldies music + occasionally will sing or hum along (he’d do the thing where he sings one part and then points to you to finish the lyric) (please match his energy).

• he becomes very chill at night compared to his usual intensive personality. what that looks like is him speaking often but in a softer, ramble-type voice. he’d narrate his actions, occasionally talking to you as he basks in the quiet atmosphere.

• as for his actions, he’d do nightly chores around the house regardless of your insistence he doesn’t need to. he hates the prospect of being useless—something he feels often with his friends. so around you, he just really wants to help.

hisoka

• he has harmful and harmless magic tricks. he loves to show both off.

• none would be harmful to you, but you’d have to establish early on that you’re not okay with him pulling things like the flower petal trick in front of you (unless you are 🧐).

• if he had a pet, it’d be a bunny. and on that subject, he completely disapproves of animals in magic shows (thinks they’re cheap tricks).

illumi

• this man cannot cook to save his life. and can you blame him? if i had servants on servants, i wouldn’t pick up a spatula either.

• still, he hates not being able to do things, so he often finds himself asking you to teach him. with cooking, not everyone is made for it.. he is a perfect example. no matter how many lessons, how great the advice or recipe is; it won’t turn out if he’s in the kitchen.

• his behavior towards killua would be entirely different from how he treats you. he views you as his equal, not a puppet, and it’s not his job to change/mold you. so generally, he’s nowhere near as controlling or manipulative (though because it’s his nature, i wouldn’t rule it out).

chrollo

• the gentleman act he puts on for people like neon is probably how he’d act around his s/o a lot of the time. not to manipulate you, but just because he’s not used to showing his natural self around non-spiders, so he puts on a facade he knows you’d like.

• the longer you spend around him, the more you’d begin to notice his real personality creeping through. it’d start with small remarks and comments that he doesn’t tell others, almost like he’s on a reality tv show and you’re the audience. eventually, he’d become more comfortable with you seeing him while he’s emotional.

• he’d read all the books you read so you could have conversations on them. even leaving sticky notes at certain parts so he remembers to tell you about his initial reaction.

ngl, i’m tired of pretending that i hate the hxh dub lmao. 💀

like, sure, it’s not “perfect” or wtv, but i honestly rly like it. 🤷

imo it’s not rly anywhere near as bad as ppl like to say it is (esp since most ppl are constantly hating on all dubs regardless, so their opinions don’t rly matter anyway 🤷), and some of the translations are actually very enjoyable. 😭

just some examples i rly rly liked off the top of my head (and yes, these are all from ep. 147… sue me):

“well, the truth is… after you told me you were gonna defeat pitou alone, not to mention that it was ‘none of my business’, i got… pretty depreeeeeeeessed.” killua teasing gon (i love petty killua & i loved the delivery. 😭 he can be such a little dickhead sometimes lmao. alluka’s “big brother!” and killua’s little evil chuckle were also so cute, i love them lol.)

“why are you just telling me that NOW⁉️⁉️” gon to killua after killua finally told him that alluka’s power (nanika) is who healed him (i just absolutely loved the delivery here, he sounded so genuinely annoyed & exasperated lmao 😭).

“it’s sort of a… complicated family thing, ya know?” killua to gon after gon’s reaction (i just absolutely love this line. 😭 it manages to be an absolute understatement while being completely accurate at the same time LMAO).

“she was locked in our house for a real long time… for the crime of being too awesome.” killua to gon abt alluka/nanika (i personally love this translation choice sm… not only was it comical, but it honestly felt like it encapsulated killua’s character & his opinion of his sisters very well.)

“wait just a minute, i don’t need you planing play dates! isn’t she great?” (one of the cutest things killua has ever said. he sounds so genuine when he says it 😭)

i also honestly think that alluka/nanika has such a cute voice, i love it sm. i honestly might like it more than their sub voice.

Character Reaction Fanfictions (watching the show/movie or reading the books) -Recs -

One of my favorite tropes in fanfiction is characters being forced to watch/read/react to their own stories. Unfortunately, a good majority of these are crap. Readers looking for these stories often have to dig through a lot of coal to find just one diamond in the rough. Here's a list of the ones I’ve managed to find. Ones that aren’t just a written recreation of their source material.

Is This The Way It Ends Now? by Seastar98 (Death Note) (Finished) This is one of my favorite Death Note fanfictions for a reason. It doesn’t make us watch or read the dialogue or action of the show along with the characters; It assumes we’ve already seen it and focuses on the character’s reactions (what we’re actually here for) and gives more character development to some of its minor characters (Mello, Near, and Matt being clear examples. I was happy about this in particular since my favorite characters in Death Note are Matt and Matsuda). L and Light end up together, but romance is not the focus.

Hunter x Hunter / Assassination Classroom by EternalQuestForGoodFics (Finished) Basically, Killua ends up in the Assassination Classroom world. To go home, he must eventually allow his classmates to watch the HunterxHunter series to learn more about him and where he came from. These two fandoms are a great matchup, and Killua is one of the best characters to end up in the AssClass world. Seeing Killua bond and make a new friend out of Nagisa made it worth reading alone. Their reactions are part 2 of the series. 

MHA X Hunter by makifinity (My Hero Academia / Hunter x Hunter) (In progress) This is a good fanfiction where the My Hero Academia characters watch the HunterXHunter anime together instead of their own show. What makes ‘this’ great is how different the two worlds are and the morals that hold them together. I love that the villains are also involved in this viewing room since, in most My Hero reaction fics, the villains are left out of the experience and don’t get to have their own voices and opinions about what is happening on screen.

The Journey of the Unholy Trinity by Arremi (Code Geass) (In progress) If you’ve been in the Code Geass fandom long enough, you’ve probably seen a few of these stories. This one is the longest, most well-written, and most complete I’ve found.

Code Geass: The Blame Game: by AllHailThe99th (Code Geass) (In progress) One thing I like about this Code Geass reaction fic is the author’s obvious and stated hate of the character Suzaku. Suzaku is on my list of most hated characters; I like reading people judging and calling him out constantly on his shit. It’s a very therapeutic read. I recommend it to anyone who felt a similar rage when watching the show.

Appearances by McKinney_Wylis (Marvel / Avengers) (Finished) This story has the Avengers going to Asgard to check on Loki when they find a weird video clip online that scares them into believing Loki may have broken free. It turns out the video clip was from a different universe (our universe), and they suddenly had access to the Marvel movies that were available at that time. They watch the Thor movie and learn things about Loki, unknown before. The watching of Thor actually doesn’t take up the whole fic, but this story still counts. It takes place during the Thor: The Dark World storyline.

In terms of pairings…well, I’ll read any pairing if it’s written well enough. Even a story with Loki and Steve shacking up. I don’t like Steve, but I like how he was written in this fic. The way he and Loki interact is cute enough that I can look past it.

Part of the Journey is the end by hunkahulkaaburningfudge (Marvel / Avengers) This series starts with the characters watching Infinity War and has been going through the continuing movies and TV shows; with great writing and lots of material, this is definitely one of the best. I loved the Wanda and Loki reactions. And the ‘What if?” storylines were hilarious.

Avengers Watch Snippets by Ifihadatardis (Marvel / Avengers) As advertised, the characters watch little snippets of scenes of each other’s lives. Sometimes, these fics are preferable because the characters can learn about each other without going through their entire movies.

All the Days of Our Lives Series by ElrondScribe (Marvel / Avengers) This series has the characters react to Captain America, Iron Man 1, and Iron Man 2. It takes place after Civil War and has them watching the movies in Wakanda. I like the Tony Stark and Pepper focus in these fics, and I thought the writer did well with the other character voices, even for the ones I didn’t like.

School Watches Assassination Classroom by TheSteinsGateFormula (Assassination Classroom) (Finished) This is not just one of the best reaction fanfictions of all time but one of the best, period. The author not only had the original class and teachers watching the show but the entire school (baring the Principal, thank god) yet still managed to keep everyone in character and give everyone a distinctive voice when trying to keep up with so many people.

Attention is given to situations that were mostly glossed over without consequence in the actual show, like the students who came from abusive households. My favorite characters, Nagisa and the younger Asano, get a good amount of attention.

The only negative of this fic is how long it is. Over 700,000 words. It takes some serious reading time, but it’s worth it. Trust me. But once you start, you might not want to stop. Make sure you have the time to dedicate to it.

Lucifer Reacts to Supernatural by SilverWolf7 (Lucifer/Supernatural) As much as I love Supernatural and wish I had more good recs for it, this is one of the best options I can offer in this category. I haven’t seen the show Lucifer yet (I’ve been meaning to), but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this fic. Seeing Lucifer’s love of Sam’s character and hearing him rage about many of the things in the show that frustrated me or he thought were inaccurate were giant highlights of this story. Warning: If you’re a Dean fan, you might get defensive about how much Lucifer bashes him (I live for it, but that’s me). One of the other characters that he’s watching it with even rage-quits on him for how much he was dissing her favorite character. If that doesn’t bother you, this might be the fic for you.

Watching You, Watching Me, Watching You by trippedandfellintopurgatory (Supernatural) This is one of the only good Supernatural watching-the-show fics I’ve found. So, of course, it only has 19 chapters, sits at 30,000 words, and has a slow updating schedule.

Blank Disc by TheFallenArchangel (Supernatural) Another of the few good Supernatural watch-the-show fics. This one hasn’t been updated since 2014 and has only seven chapters. Dean and Sam are teenagers, and their father and Bobby watch with them.

The Void by iAnneart (Yugioh: Duel Monster/ Yugioh Abridged) This fanfiction was one that I used to love, and I hate that it still hasn’t been updated and doesn’t look like it ever will be. The characters of Yugioh react to their own abridged series to hilarious effect. This fic was the entire reason I watched the Abridged Series by LittleKuribo - still one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen, and admittedly much better than the actual show. Another fanfiction is more popular and has them watch more episodes. But this fic was much better written with only ten chapters.

Under a Watchful Eye by my secret thoughts (Harry Potter) A story where the Harry Potter characters read the books. It focuses on Harry and Sirius. There is no actual recitation of the books (thank god), but it’s written well enough to tell what they’re reacting to. So far, this is the only reaction fic like this in the Harry Potter fandom I’ve liked. It takes place during their 5th-year, and the other characters are mostly Order of the Phoenix members.

Truth Revealed by Lucifer swift (Full Metal Alchemist) One of the first reaction fanfictions I ever read. It's been reuploaded on fanfiction.net. In this reaction series, the characters are forced to relive the pain they witness themselves having on screen. Any of you who have seen Full Metal Alchemist know that is leading to an agonizing time.

No such thing as a painless lesson by RoseJennison (My Hero Academia) The best My Hero Academia fanfiction that’s actually still going and might eventually catch up with the episodes…maybe. The characters in this are also forced to suffer the pain they see themselves experiencing onscreen. Think about all the times Midoriya breaks himself and imagine him having to feel all that again continuously.

In the Grasp of Schadenfreude by ThoughtSpinner (My Hero Academia) The parents and teachers/heroes watch the show and find out what's been going on with their children and at school. Needless to say, these parents have a lot of thoughts. 

Reaction Ritual by PreshByPyre (Naruto) This is only six chapters, but I hope the author returns to it. It’s a good idea, and well-written Naruto reaction fics are rare.

A number of fragments by eliscool (Naruto) Exactly what the title suggests. Instead of watching Naruto episode by episode, the characters are watching random fragments of the show and have to try and put together what’s happening. This occurs when Naruto and the kids are still in the Academy - but before Itachi commits the massacre.

Old stories, new discoveries by Daniablazin (Discontinued) (Miraculous Ladybug) This is my favorite Miraculous Ladybug reaction fiction. Unfortunately, it doesn’t go past the first season. It’s been discontinued because the author said they didn’t like where the show was going. A real shame. The writing on this was amazing, and it had serious potential.

What are our children up to? by o0Lithium0o (Teen Wolf) The parents of Teen Wolf from earlier in the timeline get to see what their children are up to and their future. The kids aren't actually in the room with them. Probably for the best. They are so grounded for the foreseeable future once they all get back.

As Above is Below by kswriter (Shadowhunter Series)The characters of the Shadowhunter series (pretty much all of them) sit down to read the books. This goes by the book canon, not the show canon. I mainly love this series for the Mangus and Alec content. This is the only reaction fic I've seen with these characters.

Headcanons Series: The Zoldyck children and their sibling dynamics. Part 5 Kalluto

Kalluto

Illumi – Kalluto idolizes Illumi and wants to be just like him when he grows up. He sees Illumi as the ultimate assassin and models how he behaves off his eldest brother. Illumi is not at home as much as he used to be as he’s often away on missions or trying to keep tabs on Killua. This means Kalluto doesn’t get the same amount of 1:1 training with Illumi as his siblings did which is disappointing (Kalluto was the only one who enjoyed Illumi’s style of training). Whenever Illumi does come home Kalluto always tries his absolute best to impress him, showing off whatever new skill he’s learned, or trying to beat his personal best records for training and missions. He just wants his brother to notice him! When Illumi joins the Phantom Troupe Kalluto tries to hide it, but he is delighted and can’t wait to show off his perfect brother to his new friends and to get some precious time alone with him between missions.

Milluki – Illumi believes Milluki is lazy and a disgrace, therefore, that’s what Kalluto thinks too. He often tries to spy on Milluki (who calls him creepy) because he just doesn’t understand what is so great about that bedroom and computer that he never leaves the house for. Kalluto finds it annoying that Milluki doesn’t take contracts like Illumi and even himself, yet seems to have no consequences for his inaction. Kalluto feels that Milluki treats him like a baby (all the Zoldycks treat Kalluto like a baby. But it annoys him most from Milluki) and underestimates both his current skill level and future potential. Kalluto trains with Milluki when Illumi is absent but he hates these sessions and feels Milluki goes wayyy too easy on him.

Killua – Killua has always been cold and distant towards Kalluto. He doesn’t know why though. However, the dislike is mutual. Killua may well be the heir and everybody else’s favourite of the Zoldyck kids, but Kalluto doesn’t see what all the fuss is about. Sure, his nen potential and skills are impressive, but his attitude stinks. He’s rude and arrogant and gets away with being mean to everyone. He stabbed their mother! And didn’t even get punished??? (Milluki tried. But his punishments aren’t exactly up to much). Now he’s ran away to go travel with a friend??? (Assassins don’t have friends, didn’t he learn ANYTHING from Illumi?). He hopes Killua never comes back, that he keeps his word and refuses to become the head of the Zoldyck family. Illumi is way more suited to the job and he deserves it more.

Alluka – Kalluto hasn’t ever interacted with Alluka in person. There are some photos of the whole family together, so Kalluto assumes he must have met them at some point, but he was too young and doesn’t remember it. What little he does know about Alluka is very vague and mostly contradictory. For example; Illumi says Alluka is a boy, but Killua says they’re a girl. He’s also been told that Alluka is his sibling, but then later told that they’re not really siblings and that Alluka may not even be human. What’s absolutely certain though, is that Alluka lives in the basement, in the most secure room in the entire estate and Kalluto is absolutely forbidden from ever going near their room or attempting to interact with them in any way, shape, or form. Alluka’s nen is apparently very strong and very dangerous, to the point that even Mother and Father seem afraid of it. Killua seems to think Alluka isn’t dangerous though and acts like they (it?) are just a regular child. Kalluto doesn’t know for sure either way, not having met Alluka (that he can remember at least) so for now he chooses to do what he always does and trust Illumi’s judgement.  Whoever, or whatever Alluka is, is dangerous and should be avoided at all costs (The fact that Mother and Father seem to share this belief reassures Kalluto that it is the correct opinion).

Random question but your post about the silva/kikyo relationship made me wonder what do you think is the actual relationship between those two? If they do have any martial friction, do you think it is contributing to any of the zoldyck trauma that the kids go through or do you think that is unrelated (since killua seems to think that they are in love meaning that if they have any disagreements they never let it near the kids?) Sorry, I just love talking about the zoldyck family and their weird dynamics, and also speaking as someone whose mom has a lot of mood swings.

i think they have a relationship them and everyone around them would describe as fine/good and by Zoldyck standards is fine/good but by normal person standards would look horrible. which is par for the course </3 . like Silva does genuinely care about Kikyo—we know because he prioritized her life over keeping Alluka locked up—and I think she knows it which is probably partially why she acts the way she does*

i do think Kikyo disagrees with Silva a lot when it comes to parenting—Silva seems sorta standoffish and not emotionally invested, while Kikyo is obviously obsessive and over-involved. *in my brain i think Kikyo might dream or desire a more "normal" or loving family with more normal dynamics, which she occasionally sees glimpses of so she tries to impose it onto the existing dynamic (she seems really proud of Killua for being a good brother, for example). she may project onto the kids or further normalize the abuse by insisting everything is standard.

despite the fact that i don't think Kikyo would be the type of person to escalate fights with Silva, he seems very cavalier with harshly shutting her down. it'd be easy for a kid to pick up on the vibe that Kikyo doesn't have much power compared to dad, which would increase the feeling of not having power themselves. when it comes to the butlers and Illumi & Milluki, it seems that them sharing traits with Kikyo, rather than Silva, is used to covertly disparage them. they probably picked up on that growing up and it colored their perception of their dad/how they think their dad sees them, thus how they see themselves

in general i do think the fact that a power and respect disparity exists would contribute to the trauma, regardless if there weren't many big fights or if fights were had away from the kids

when it comes to Killua specifically, Silva obviously leverages Kikyo's demeanor to position himself as the reasonable/cool parent, making Killua trust and admire him more while disparaging his mom. i do think this is largely a Killua-only thing though—or at least a Killua-only thing by intention, there'd definitely be collateral—because the other kids seem to have at least a little more respect for her than he does, considering he attacks her and threatens her and the others do not do this looollll. for Killua growing up, having one parent want him to act one way and another wanting him to act a different way, serving as the vehicle for their disagreements, was probably confusing and distressing. it might've caused him to rely more on Illumi as a consistent "parental" figure and contributed to his rebellious behavior. he probably considers them as really loving each other despite being more exposed to their friction because, like, they weren't beating each other or locking each other up in cellars, and probably did have nice moments where they were chill and caring. which goes to show where his bar is at lmfao

it's also pretty obvious that the whole family have internalized the golden child dynamic to some degree (excluding Silva and Zeno because they're the ones that perpetuate it). it gives Killua power over them (emotional power in addition to hierarchical power in the case of Kikyo, and emotional power for Illumi—he takes strongly after his mom when it comes to needing control and general volatility, so imo it can be inferred his preoccupation with using Killua's affection/attention/compliance as a resource through which he can self-validate comes from Kikyo as well). they might see that as the reason why he doesnt like mom—he's higher up in the pecking order. maybe that's where Milluki thinking he's a spoiled brat comes from. spitballing

Speaking of the kiriko standing in for Gotoh, I’ve been rewatching HxH, and there’s a scene from when Gon and co. are trying to retrieve/rescue Killua where Gon gets on the phone with Gotoh and Gotoh says he can’t let him come near the mansion because even if he does believe his claim that Killua has a friend now, how would he know that Gon is really Gon? Maybe he’s somebody who’s altered their voice for this phone call, and even if he met him in person, maybe somebody had managed to alter their body enough to pass as Gon.

When I was watching it, I once again presumed that Gotoh’s logic fell somewhere between the justified paranoia of a professional assassin’s employee and an excuse so over-the-top that the “fuck you” nature of it is easily understood . But later I remembered the kiriko trick at the end of the series and was like fuuuuck, the real explanation is so much simpler. Ofc he finds it very plausible somebody could fake being Gon: the butlers are canonly aware of the existence of kirikos and that they can be hired for shapeshifting services so perfect that even a nen-using trained assassin who’s known him his entire life doesn’t notice the difference.

Right? I noticed this as well, and I love this observation--it's a fantastic example of Togashi's writing and how well thought out it is! It does seem somewhat overly paranoid at the time...until you think about all the further context provided in the series. Also, there's such an irony in Gotoh being the one to say that, and then after his death he's replaced by a Kiriko mimicking him...

It's also worth remembering that Illumi himself has an ability to change his face, so of course the Zoldyck family would be on guard about shapeshifters and people/creatures with the ability to mimic voices and such. There are many ways someone in the HxH world could potentially be deceptive, with the wide variety of nen abilities and magical creatures.

Youger than Killua

Say hello to your new big brother.

It doesn't matter if you're a few months younger, if you tell him that he's technically older than you, he'll naturally go into a brotherly mode, which is never good seeing as his best examples for sibling behavior is Illumi or Milluki.

Killua will naturally take on an older sibling role with you, even more-so if it's before Alluka is rescued.

He will buy you a lot of gifts if you're younger than him.

Like Illumi, Killua will become insanely protective of you if you're younger than him.

Hisoka will get his ass whooped if he comes around you at all. Hisoka's already pretty creepy in general, and he's also the most frequently seen threat.

All it'll take is one slip up, one moment of being too creepy and Killua will maul him even quicker.

He's the most overtly protective to a younger person, and Gon and the others don't actually mind. They understand his past, Kurapika is the same way with his friends, and Gon would trust his friend's judgement for the most part, so Killua'd be regulated, but not actually stopped.

Killua does his best to not be a negative influence to a younger person, but he will sometimes slip up and will sometimes emotionally manipulate, be imperitively overly cautious, and just accidentally teach you harmful stuff.

Since he's so touch starved, Killua will carry you around on his shoulders or back, grab onto you, or do other small things. He won't punch you in the head or use painful ways to get contact, he's been raised not to do that, and he's definitely not going to do so to someone younger and not in the zoldyck family.

He's much more likely to share his candy with you if you're younger than he is.

Killua wouldn't be the most obvious yandere if you were his age, but if you're compassionate or similar to Gon in personality, he'll be extra protective.

One big sign of his yandere side is the fact that he has a shorter fuse around danger.

Even with Illumi's needle in his head, Killua's more likely to attack, we'll say Hisoka, to keep villains away from you.

He's usually pretty chill with you befriending others though, but only if that person joins the main group. If you have your own personal friend outside of Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, and himself he'll try to scare them off or drive the two of you apart.

He might get a bit physical clingy. He'll mostly just grab onto you more, pop you upside the head, sit kinda close, lay next to or near you, shove you, generally just be a bit more physical with you, he's the same way with Gon.

Killua has a very small friend group, including you he's up to 4-5, and isn't close to his family, so if someone threatened one of those ties, Killua won't react nicely.

Illumi, Hisoka, and Chrollo skip that step, being entirely on sight if they even approach Killua's friends, especially Illumi. Hisoka might be able to earn a hint of wiggle room, but one fuck-up will destroy that centimeter of allowance.

Usually, Hisoka walks a thin line between friend and foe, so he gets a bit of room to be a nuisance, but it's a very, very thin wire, and Killua will put the man in his place if he puts a toe out of line around his friends.

You might get a few gifts from Killua, this is a pretty good sign that you're a close friend.

Older than Killua

He'd form a warped sort of crush on you.

Killua'd never form a romantic crush on a friend when younger, more of a Squish, but due to being brought up in a family with the only form of attachment being marriage or family it'd take a while for him to realize that he doesn't feel that way towards you.

Once he realizes that, you've unlocked a new level of his yandere side.

He'll naturally come to you with questions as he grows, since his family is at best questionable, at worst completely hated. So, you get to answer the awkward questions. This is not only a sign of great trust, but is also a big test. If you pass, you officially cannot escape his friendship.

He'll get a bit more physically clingy. Not only will he shove you, punch your shoulder, or pop you upside the head like he does Gon, but he'll also grab your hand or let you grab his hand, hug you, sit next to you, lay beside you, let you carry him if your tall enough, and even ask for piggy back rides from time to time.

If you're older than him, his protective habits will expand to include protecting you from any relationships.

If you're powerful, Killua will still protect you, but instead of doing it all around, he'll mostly get protective around Hisoka and Chrollo.

He's not jealous usually with friends, at least not too badly, but if you start to date? He'll do everything he can to sabotage the relationship.

If you bring your partner around to hang out, Killua will cling to you like a starfish, hog conversations with you, do stuff to gain your attention, and will leverage your compassion or motherly side to exclude your partner.

If you go out on your own personal date with the partner, there's a 50/50 chance Killua will pop up in person to interrupt the date, and 100% chance that the date will be sabotaged, whether you actually see Killua or not.

If all of that fails, he will finally resort to intimidation or even murder to get rid of your partner. He'll even go so far as to ask or hire his own siblings to kill the person for him, but that's only if he's dangerously close to being caught in his antics by you. Otherwise, he'll just do it himself.

He'll also not hesitate to guilt-trip, gas light, or manipulate you in any possible way to keep you close to him.

Killua will also share candy with you from time to time,

If you are 18 or above, Killua will go into terrifying detail about his family, mostly Illumi and Milluki.

This isn't to push you away, it's to dissuade you from falling into his brother's sociopathic charms if he comes around. Killua will just all around keep you far, far, far away from Illumi, not about to let his brother turning his affection on you.

Hey! Ty for the question! This is like the longest running discourse huh... I'll do my best to share my perspective! Putting some of it under a cut because I accidentally wrote too much ^^;

I do see the ickiness of the phrase 'shipping two kids' when you put it like that, but I think that's because the word 'shipping' has this... umbrella connotation of like. HEAVY romance with adult and often sexual implications attached to it. Which is a huge red flag when u think abt kids that way?? and obviously you shouldn't??? and there’ll always be some nasty fans who do, but I think a lot of us see them the way we see most ships in kids' shows.

Because BECAUSE the thing is, we see romance all the time in children's media. Kids have crushes. Kids get into stupid relationships at 13 where all they do is peck each other on the lips awkwardly and pass notes to each other in class and hang out on ‘dates’ at each other's houses to watch TV. And it's totally normal! So when people say 'ew shut up gon and killua are only friends, stop thinking abt them like that, they're children' you have to wonder where that's coming from. Bc would they be saying the same thing about a boy and a girl of the same age?

To bring up specific examples: think about aang from atla (is a 12 yo with an enormous crush for a majority of the series, and gets together with her in the end) and sam and danny from danny phantom (are 14 yo), and these are shows with like. An actual on-screen KISS at the end. Nobody bats an eye at that, and not to be dramatic but the double standards are showing. It's implying that 'queerness' is what's vile and adult but like. Queer adults were once queer children, right? Gon and killua are 12 at the beginning, and nearing 14 at the end, so the discourse of 😡don’t ship 2 kids!🤬 stops being valid when you think about it in a larger perspective, in relation to similar media. Like sure, you’re welcome to see them in a strictly platonic way, but if the ONLY REASON ur not ok with a wholly harmless, innocent romance is because they’re children, and harass other fans abt it, then to me it sounds like a load of bull to cover up ur homophobia.

As for hxh specifically, my take is that the subtext is deliberate. Togashi would have to be pretty ignorant of his own writing if it weren’t; killua is so heavily coded as developing a very romantic, very boyfriend crush on gon and considering togashi’s history with queer rep it wouldn’t be far-fetched for anyone to call it intentional. And who are any of us to take that away from queer fans who see themselves in these characters? 

And as for me, using the word ‘ship’ makes me feel weird (which is totally a silly personal thing) but I think my feelings on killugon can be summed up by this exchange—

They go from talking about dates to killua thinking to himself that he’d rather just stay with gon forever, and like... to me that’s IT. So it’s my personal opinion that, all things considered, what gon and killua have transcends any platonic or romantic connotation; it’s more like a ‘you’re IT for me’ in whatever way you choose to see it. Do I think killua has a big fat crush on gon?? yeah. Do I think anyone seeing their friendship as ONLY a friendship is valid? also yeah. 

The only thing is that justifying them being strictly bff bros because 'they can’t be more bc they’re children ew’ isn’t gonna fly. Bc if you take it to mean anything more than an innocent depiction of young love then you're the one making it weird. As long as we’re not sick in imagining gross things then what’s wrong in just wanting them to hold hands?

Kalluto simply doesn’t care.

Kalluto is the youngest member of the Zoldyck family and has recently joined the phantom troupe as their number 4.

He has shown his independence as well as his capabilities proving him to be worthy of his ranking in the group.

But as much as we are now aware of some of his abilities as well as what he hopes to seek, many fans have yet to understand how his mind works.

And this all led to one question that many wish to find the answer to one day:

“Why does Kalluto not care how you call him?”

Throughout his journey (from what we’ve seen), every time Kalluto encounters a foe or meets up with a member of the Spiders, the people around him always call him by different pronouns.

Whether it was female (she/her) or male (he/him), Kalluto has shown zero reaction to their assumptions.

These cases have directed many people to headcanon Kalluto as a non-binary or a gender fluid person.

Some assumed he was a girl simply because his looks reminded them of Sailor Saturn which was a character made by Naoko Takeuchi, known for her Sailor Moon series as well as being married to Togashi.

The fans also presumed him to be female due to Nobunaga, Kikyo and a chimera ant using female pronouns on him.

(Kikyo is an exception and will be explained why he lets her call him that later on.)

But there is an extensively better explanation as to why he wouldn’t respond to any of these claims for a much more practical reason.

And that is: Family.

The zoldycks don’t care about anyone else other than themselves.

They work as a family business and don’t pair up with any other assassins for an assassination.

We can recognize this when Silva and Zeno declined to collaborate with the other assassins that were similarly called to kill Chrollo.

Since Kalluto’s father and grandfather would be bound to those rules, he would follow their example.

Kalluto’s obedience and loyalty to the family are clearly shown.

He follows and assists his mother at all times, doesn’t make a dispute if ordered around and joined the phantom troupe so he could grow stronger to bring his big brother back.

He solely attends to his relatives meaning that the rest should be irrelevant to him.

When he became the newest member of the Phantom Troupe, they were sent back to Meteor City, their hometown, to exterminate the Chimera Ants that were attempting to invade it.

They ntered Zazan’s base and separated, leaving Kalluto alone until he met his opponent.

As he confronts his adversary, it immediately started threatening him and concluding his gender to be female since the youngest zoldyck looks like a girl.

But instead of correcting it or acting at least a bit taken aback by its claim, Kalluto doesn’t do anything about its mistake and just says he doesn’t want to get near it.

*It being the chimera ant

From what we just learned about his obedience and loyalty to his family, he doesn't bother fixing its error because the ant is simply insignificant in his life.

Like Illumi (only less extreme), he deeply cares for his family and ONLY his family.

If someone outside of the Zoldyck circle ever addresses him or attempts to talk to him, he will either ignore them or simply spare a single glance at them.

He doesn’t see the point of speaking to the people that don’t hold a place in his mind as well as his heart.

To him, it would be unnecessary to talk to them or utter a full sentence towards them if he doesn’t require their attention or time.

However, there is an exception: and that is Kikyo.

Kalluto and Kikyo have a loving bond towards each other so it would be logical to see him always following her wherever she goes.

But she’s the only person in his family who calls him female. And Kalluto does nothing about it.

It was said that Kikyo always wanted a daughter but never got one.

Since Alluka is a dangerous ‘thing’ and Killua, Milluki, Illumi already have male features, she chose Kalluto to be her doll.

Someone who is young enough to be dolled up and look like a girl.

He keeps his feminine clothes because it makes his mother happy and would most likely not mind the fact that she would use female pronouns on him.

So in short, Kikyo is the only exception to label Kalluto as a female and make Kalluto accept the assumption.

As for anyone else, he would only respond on the condition that he has to or if he needs answers.

He speaks when he's confronting his prey such as taunting and stressing the chimera ant that he fought.

And he speaks when he’s curious by asking questions if he doesn't understand a situation or problem.

Chapter 224 to 229 were the only chapters that truly concentrated on Kalluto’s behavior and personality.

He mostly keeps his thoughts to himself and doesn't make an effort to stand out from the rest of the group.

You would detect a much bigger amount of thought bubbles rather than speech bubbles.

If you take off the panels where he speaks, you'll find the majority of his bubbles to only be filled with his thoughts.

In conclusion, Kalluto could care less about people misgendering him or wondering in what category he falls in because he doesn’t care about the people in the first place.

He doesn’t care so he doesn’t talk to them.

It is a silly childish thing to do in general but despite Kalluto’s abilities and power he is still a child nonetheless.

Kalluto simply doesn't care what anyone thinks about him besides his family.

Analysis of Kite's conflicting moralities, relationship with death, and the toll reincarnation may take on one's psyche

So, today I decided to compile all the thoughts I have had about Kite's interesting worldview since the first time I saw him into one post, mostly for my own sake, really. If you're familiar with the few posts I've made, you know it's gonna be a mess, but hopefully a comprehensible mess.

A heads up, this is going to be spoiler-heavy, and very much deal with subjects of death and dying as a whole. Also, some of these conclusions are drawn from my own experiences and close brushes with death, I'm not going to go into much detail but it might get personal and definitely dark. I'm not even sure if I can call this a meta-analysis, and I'm obviously no expert, so mayhaps take all of this with a grain of salt.

Been getting into drawing lately, and during the more simple and mindless part of the painstaking process of dotting every single star in this, I let my thoughts wander through the latest part of the fic I'm writing, and I got a better grasp on what exactly made Kite such an elusive character to me.

I'm not quite sure why I got so attached to Kite. Perhaps it was the air of tragedy surrounding him, how despite his sordid past he remained still open and gentle even if outlined by a healthy dose of cynicism.

But sometimes, I think it's the fact that he is so paradoxical. He's brave, yet fears death to such a degree that creates a whole Nen ability around it, is a pacifist yet will not hesitate to spill blood for his own sake or someone else's. Despite the many ultimatums and warnings of 'I will not protect you', he gave his arm and then his life to save Gon and Killua. He approaches each hunt and battle with a clear plan of action in mind, but his Hatsu takes the form of a roulette that gives him random weapons which are never what he wants, but what he seems to need for that exact situation, which he cannot dispel without using. When he draws a weapon, the decision is locked in and his or his opponent's fate is sealed. That's why each time he dubbs his weapon a bad roll. Every time he has to gamble, he sees himself as having run out of luck. When it comes to having to choose between himself and somebody else...well, there had never been a choice. In fact his aversion to using it may feed into its sheer power that we, unfortunately, saw too little of.

Let's go over his very first appearance when he saves Gon from the mother Foxbear.

It's not hard to see the strain searching for Ging has put on him; he's rash, prone to anger and punching a child for daring to get into trouble. In his mind, he's failing at his most important task, has not yet earned the right to call himself a hunter despite being in possession of his very own hunter license.

After killing the mother Foxbear and raging about having done so, he says this interesting line:

So yes, he finds killing for any reason rather irksome as most would do, yet I think something deeper caused him to absolutely lose it in this scene:

He had not been aware of Gon's identity, and despite being an animal lover and a naturalist, he made a choice to save the human instead of allowing nature to run its course. In fact, he says: 'No beast that harms a human must be allowed to live.'

How does one weight one life against another? How is the worth of it determined? The value of life... an impossible choice he's faced with and a choice which he seems to regret to some degree.

The Foxbear cub.

Here, he's speaking from experience, a tangible loss he has felt himself, and a hard and bitter life he does not want to impose on the cub.

His backstory is exclusive to the 2011 anime adaptation but there are hints alluding to it in the manga, for example, the fact that he does not seem to know his birthplace, or:

The choice of words is chilling.

Reading between the lines, one could draw the conclusion that he is an orphan. Something supporting this hypothesis is how he visibly deflates after Gon tells him his parents have (presumably) died.

So we see he is willing to go against his own moral code of not killing as to not doom another living being to the life he led, a lonely, hopeless existence that could barely be called one. He saw it best to put down the cub rather than leave it to die a painful, slow death.

The reason Kite himself isn't as cynical and cold-hearted as one would be after witnessing cruelty in its rawest form is those small crumbs of human kindness which he may have found in Ging.

It was not only a chance at an honorable life being Ging's apprentice gave him, but it also 'saved' him from being broken and twisted into what he hated and worst of all, death.

If we take that one minute of backstory as canon to his character-which I find myself inclined to do- these quirks of his make much more sense. He lived on the run. He lived on the knife's edge between giving up or pushing forwards. He lived as so a wrong move could be the difference between survival and the end.

Between rock and a hard place creates a mentality of black and white, absolute good or extreme evil, this or that. Except in reality, it's much harder than that. Deciding who to save and who to strike down is a heavy burden to bear.

It's almost easy to see how struggling to keep surviving could lend itself to a crippling fear of death and subsequently developing a Nen ability which once more goes against his own moral code in order to give himself a second chance...yet something about it strikes me as unlikely when I look at it this way.

Living life knowing it could end at any moment has the opposite effect, at least for me it did. One comes to accept that it is fleeting and while not eager to let it go, when death eventually and inevitably does come, there is no fighting it.

Especially when there is no hope that tomorrow will be a better day than this one.

Frequent near-death experiences numb one's fear in a way, even if it drives them to take precautions that render it unlikely to happen again and results in c-PTSD, but still, it does. It sparks a certain nihilistic view of 'if it all can end so easily, then what's the point of it all?'

Unless there are things to live for, a sure promise of a better future, and Ging gave Kite that. When he faced the threat of losing his second chance at life:

Really, what else could lead someone to develop the ability of 'the hell I'm going to die like this'?

I think a separate event, an even more brutal near-death experience that almost cost him his life as the hunter he so strived to be set him off to develop the secret roll of Crazy Slots, what I call Roll No.0, Ars moriendi. Unlike other weapons, it cannot come up in random and is directly summoned by him, or better said, summon by his overwhelming will to keep going and hopelessness of fighting a losing battle. I don't believe roll No.3 was the weapon that allowed him to reincarnate. I've named that one Wand of Fortune, a sort of armor instead of an offensive weapon since I find it hard to believe Kite, a Conjurer, would not focus on defences as well, and I will go into both mechanisms of these weapons hopefully in his backstory.

Despite knowing this battle to be a pointless one and being acutely aware of his soon to be demise, he did not immediately draw Ars moriendi, no, he stayed back and fought for the sake of the boys, kept Neferpitou occupied until they could reach safety. We can see evidence of this in the aftermath of the battle that seemed to have gone on until dawn, a torn apart landscape only signaling a fraction of the devastation that was Kite's power unleashed. It still wasn't enough.

In the anime sub I watched, when Gon apologizes to Ging about Kite's death, Ging said a sentence that infuriated me, because it belittled the utter suffering of the NGL trio.

"He would not die in your place." (No screenshot, sorry)

And I remember practically shouting at the screen, screaming 'how could you possibly say that? Of course he did. He absolutely did die in their place. How could you not know your own apprentice? Why-'

It was only last night that it hit me why Ging would say that.

Once upon a time, maybe Kite would not have given his life for anybody under any circumstances, even if he had a way out of it all. He would still need to die to come back to life.

His Thanatophobia could be attributed to the (possibly untreated) PTSD of the near-death experience in his later life, being so certain of dying that finding himself alive afterwards drove him to never want to go through that again. He quieted his fear by creating a sort of a loophole, that even if he lost the battle he would remain. Ging remembered that, but as evidence shows, something changed. Maybe he healed a bit, perhaps growing up dulled his fear to a certain degree, but eventually when it came down to his life or another's, he didn't choose himself.

Now, I can hear you saying 'but he didn't die, so what are you going on about??' And so I reply: Yes, he is alive, but he did die. He experienced that painful, horrible moment of staring death in the eyes and thinking 'This is it, this is the end', went through the actual process of having his soul removed from his body. And that moment stretches into infinity, ten lifetimes condensed into the mere seconds before oblivion.

Dying isn't so hard if one stays dead.

It's not so easy to open one's eyes and find oneself alive again after that, no matter how much that is the heart's desire. It's difficult, nigh-impossible to reconcile with life and walk amongst the living when everything had been so final, when death had been accepted to its fullest.

So Kite awakens, the twin of Meruem and back from the dead, his mind and identity both intact and fractured. In that he is Kite is no mistaking, yet he is not the same gentle pacifist whose first reaction upon sensing a monster's aura was to shield two kids from it at the cost of his arm.

I don't think many of you are familiar with Zoroastrian ideology, but Togashi is known for loving his religious imagery, and it's not only Christianism he derives inspiration from (evidence of which can be seen all over Kite's character and resurrection).

In Zurvanism-a branch of Zoroastrianism- there is talk of the twin spirits: Ahura Mazda -epitome of all that is good- and Ahriman -epitome of all that is evil-, the parent god Zurvin decides that the firstborn may rule in order to bring "heaven, hell, and everything in between."

Upon becoming aware of this fact, Ahriman forcibly tears through the womb to emerge first. Sounding familiar yet?

Zurvan relents to this turn of events only on one condition: Ahriman is given kingship for 9000 years, and then Ahura Mazda may rule for eternity.

Meruem ruled for 40 days, his death leaving the throne vacant for ant Kite, wearing a dead girl's face and seeming to be brewing some nefarious plan. No more is there any sign of that unrelenting pacifism and the sanctity of life he held so high, losing his own may have only served to show him how meaningless the pain and suffering he went through had been, dying only to be reborn as a member of the species that killed him. It may be that he has no desire to rule over the remaining Chimera ants or create an army of his own-

Yet I dread to think what a broken mind possessing limitless power might do to the world.

🎣I can imagine him as the clingy and lovestruck Yandere. Gon loves nothing more than spending time with his darling and would give up on nothing for this. He loves the s/o with his every being and in his eyes they’re the most prettiest person that has ever existed in this universe and he makes sure to always tell them this.

🎣Also the obsessive type. He wants to know everything about them and every time he thinks he has found out everything that is there possibly to learn about his darling he discovers something new. There’s so much to learn about them and he won’t stop until he knows it all! He can also be put in the category delusional since he likes to think that between the two of you everything is fine.

🎣Gon gets easily jealous, but it’s the harmless kind of jealousy. He starts to pout and stares holes into the person who made him jealous and it’ll be one of the cutest things you’ll ever see. He’ll tell the person surprisingly friendly to go away, but his aura will be only a bit too sinister.

🎣It takes a lot until this guy kills someone. They would have to do something really bad for example nearly killing the s/o. Then Gon loses it and the little sunshine will turn into your worst nightmare. The thing is that he can’t even clearly remember what he did afterwards only remembering pure rage pumping through every inch of his body. Whoever person he killed won’t be able to be recognized, that’s how bad he beat them up.

🎣Most of the times he clinges onto his darling’s side and most of the time he’s satisfied with that. Something extreme would have to happen for this boy to want to kidnap you. A few examples are when the s/o was nearly killed or when he confessed and they rejected him. But if this doesn’t happen then you’re free to wander around.

🎣Overall Gon is an innocent bean who just wants to make you happy, but don’t get too comfy with him because if you witness what happens when he gets into his killer mode you won’t be able to sleep for the next few days. Luckily he kills rarely and ensures that you won’t notice.

Killua Zoldyck Zoldyck

🪀Killua is a Zoldyck and in my opinion all Zoldyck’s are possessive. No exception for him. Also the overprotective one, especially when his s/o gets anywhere near his family he makes sure to always be alert, he can’t trust his family with the darling. On the delusional side as well, he thinks everything he does for the darling is justified through the large amount of love he holds for them. Sometimes even the manipulative type, but he only uses this when he’s with no other option left. He hates to manipulate his s/o.

🪀Also the lovestruck and touchy one. He sees in his darling everything he’s ever looked for and since he’s never got much physical affection when he was younger he’s very touchstarved for his darling. He loves cuddles! Give him lots of cuddles!!

🪀Killua will never tell when he’s jealous and his darling probably won’t even notice, but the other person will. The look he’s giving them is enough to make even the toughest guys pee into their pants.

🪀Most of the times his killer look and the sinister aura that’s surrounding him is enough to keep every person who could possibly be a threat for his darling away, but if that doesn’t work he has no problem with killing this obstacle. And believe me, no one wants this guy after them!

🪀He never really liked the thought of kidnapping his darling and would only do it in a few cases where the darling likes someone else than him or when they suddenly try to break of their contact with him and he can’t convince them otherwise. That’s when Killua would get desperate and decides to take the s/o with him.

🪀In my opinion Killua is, even though he’s sometimes quite the Tsundere, a more harmless Yandere. After he kidnaps you he makes sure to spoil you with everything a human could ever ask for and would never even lay a finger on you. He could never forgive himself if he would hurt the only good thing ( besides Gon of course ) that he has in his life. Expect to his guy to be your personal cuddle bear. The only problem are his delusions that his actions aren’t wrong.

Kurapika Kurta

⛓Congratulations for getting one of the scariest ones from the list. Kurapika is the possessive, overprotective and aware one. The moment he realized he’s in love with you was the moment he became paranoid. What if something happens to the s/o when he isn’t there? What if the Phantom Troupe attacks them? He realizes that his feelings aren’t anywhere near normal, but he just can’t help it. That leads him to quickly becoming possessive and overprotective over them. He doesn’t let them do anything alone, too scared that they might hurt themself.

⛓Also the obsessive, manipulative and desperate one. He wants to know everything about them, wants to know their interests and wants, wanting to be as perfect as he can for them. Whenever the darling gets annoyed with his overprotectiveness he’s talking them slyly into thinking that he’s just making sure that nothing bad happens to them. Who knows what might happen the next moment. His darling’s safety is his first priority, but he does yearn for their love and affection, wanting to be loved by them.

⛓Kurapika doesn’t trust anyone with the darling. What if they want to hurt them? What if they want to take the s/o away from him? Whenever someone even looks wrongly at the s/o the next moment Kurapika is already towering over this person with his eyes glowing scarily. Jealousy isn’t even the right word to describe this. It’s pure paranoia!

⛓This guy will spill gallons of blood if it means keeping his darling safe. Everyone he sees as a possible threat will be eliminated quickly.

⛓It won’t take long after he discovered his feelings for you. His possessiveness and paranoia are a horrible mix. He kidnaps his darling fastly, dragging them to a place where they’re going to live from now one. Don’t even try to escape, he won’t let that happen and will kill anyone who might know where you ran off!

⛓Kurapika is an intense and scary one, especially if he stares at you with those red eyes of his. You’ll never see other humans again, Kurapika is too scared that they might want to harm you. He does know that his behavior is wrong, but he decided eventually that he doesn’t care. No one can take the only person he loves so much away from him! He’s hesitant about hurting you and will only do it in extreme cases for example when you tried to run away from him. But if his darling would be a survivor from the Kurta Clan this would be an even worse story.

Leorio Paradinight

🧳I can imagine Leorio as the overprotective and lovestruck Yandere. This guy is hopelessly in love with the s/o and would follow them to the ends of the world and this makes him naturally overprotective over his darling.

🧳Also the clingy and touchy one. He won’t even give the s/o space to breathe and loves to have physical contact with them, doesn’t matter to him if it’s more sexual or not, he’s happy with both.

🧳He gets jealous so easily and it will be too obvious. He’ll have a clearly annoyed and angry look on his face and is definitely the type to pull his s/o to his side and glare at the other person whilst throwing a fit.

🧳I don’t think Leorio is the type to kill. It’s more likely that if he finds out that someone hurt his darling he’ll search for this person and starts beating them up whilst yelling at them. In really extreme cases he might also ask Gon, Killua and Kurapika for help to pay the person back who harmed you.

🧳He doesn’t enjoy the thought of kidnapping the s/o, but then again he’s the overprotective Yandere and if something triggered him enough he won’t think twice and lock you up in his house, keeping you until he’s calmed down. That means you’re going to stay there for a while.

🧳He’s one of the more harmless ones. He isn’t really violent with anyone, only if angered enough, and lets you walk around freely, but he makes sure to always stay by your side. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that he can be quite the perv sometimes.

Hisoka Morow

🃏... Oh god... Hisoka is possessive, cruel, a stalker, manipulative and the removal type. He views the s/o more as a toy than a human and the s/o is his favorite toy so he’s very possessive over them. He’s more the type to watch his darling from the distance and this man is talented in lying. He’ll mess with your mind until you don’t know what to think anymore. I can also definitely see him as the removal type, meaning he’ll kill everyone the darling is close to.

🃏Also a sadist, masochist and a touchy one. This guy will hurt his darling when they don’t behave and he certainly takes his pleasure in it. But he also loves it when his darling is hurting him. Every time they do this it gets him excited~ It isn’t a surprise that he is the touchy one, is it? His hands will always be on his darling’s body, touching them in more and less appropriated places ( most times in less appropriated places ).

🃏He has patience with his darling, but that doesn’t count for other people as well. He doesn’t like sharing his favorite toy with anyone and he also has this kind of ‘jealousy’ that he feels when someone hurts the s/o or the s/o hurts someone. That makes him really angry. He’s the only one who’s allowed to hurt them and he’s also the only one they’re allowed to hurt!

🃏The problem here is that Hisoka enjoys killing others way too much so he’s willing to leave a trail of dead bodies behind, taking his time to toy with them before killing them when he gets bored with them.

🃏This guy has as mentioned above a lot of patience with his darling and just watches them for a very long time, but eventually that wasn’t enough for him at some point and so he took them. You can bet that he didn’t miss the chance to play a bit with them before, seeing it as a hide and seek game. Guess who won at the end.

🃏Hisoka is a toxic Yandere to have. He’s so good with messing your mind up and will most likely talk you into thinking that you’re worthless and no one loves you and you should be thankful that he hasn’t killed you yet. Another problem is how perverted he is with you, he won’t stop touching you and if you hit him he gets even more turned on! The same goes for when he hurts you! But I think that all of his behavior comes simply from the fact that he doesn’t know how to act with his feelings. He never was really interested in anyone before, but that changed when he met you and he has no idea how to handle this. Another good thing is that he has a lot of patience with you because he never gets boring with you. If you manage to help him understanding his feelings he might become the tiniest bit better.

Pokkle

🏹Wanted to give it a try with this guy here, I was honestly pretty disappointed when he died. I think he’s the lovestruck and obsessive type. Such a weakling for his darling and obsessed with them in every sense possible. Similar to Kurapika he wants to be as perfect as he can for them. Very clingy, he doesn’t know what the word private space means.

🏹Also the worshipper, delusional and desperate Yandere. He thinks of the s/o as some kind of angel which fell from heaven and treats them like a god/goddess. He’s almost like your personal slave. He’s also pretty dependent on their affection and love they give him. He’s very confident, but at the same time very cautious of his abilities and when the s/o showers him in affection and compliments about his abilities this man will be over the moon.

🏹As mentioned above, he’s very dependent on your attention and love and if you give it to someone else, he’ll feel deeply wounded. There are two ways how he’ll react to this depending on whether he lets his pride or his self insecurity get the best of him. If his pride wins he’ll quickly pull the s/o behind his back and starts yelling at whoever they interacted with. If his insecurity wins he just stands there silently, watching his darling interacting with other people, suffering quietly. But in both cases he’ll be even more needy for your attention and love for the rest of the day.

🏹Pokkle sees his darling as a god/goddess and whoever hurts them will get some kind of punishment. He’ll kill anyone who might mean danger for his darling. Than he’ll either use poisened arrows or his Nen ability rainbow.

🏹Pokkle is as mentioned delusional and can get very paranoid from time to time which leads him to locking the s/o from time to time up in his house. The same goes for when they’re giving someone else too much attention which he desperately needs. At least he only locks you in for one or two days, but it happens way too often.

🏹He can be a real cutie for you, but his constant need for attention, love, affection and his clingyness can be pretty tiring. The fact that he locks you constantly away isn’t all that great either.

Ponzu

🐝Another death which saddened me very much. I think Ponzu is the aware one, meaning she knows how unhealthy her feelings actually are. Also the stalker type, but not her, her bees will watch her darling for her.

🐝Also the obsessive type since her bees are constantly watching the s/o it honestly isn’t hard for her to find out very much of them in a very short time. And she remembers every single detail.

🐝Ponzu is very composed and has a good amount of patience. She won’t get that easily jealous, she can let her darling have fun with other people. But if she thinks it’s enough she’ll send her bees towards the person, letting them attack the other person the s/o was talking to. And believe, it won’t be everyday that you see someone that fastly running away. No one wants to be stung by a bee. And certainly not from a whole swarm of them!

🐝Ponzu is very reasonable and can judge how bad someone’s crime was towards her darling. Most of the time the persons get away with stings littering their whole body, but if someone tries to kill her darling then she sees this as the worst crime possible and then this person will be stinged to death by her bees.

🐝It takes a lot for her to kidnap the s/o and only does it in the worse case scenario where they are nearly getting killed and she couldn’t protect them. Then she makes sure to kidnap her darling. After that escaping is as good as impossible since her bees are always watching.

🐝Since Ponzu is very reasonable with you and has a lot of patience with you it won’t be that bad. If you act up the worst that could happen are one or two stings from her bees. If you’re allergic to them her punishments consist of locking you for the rest of the day up in your room. But if you behave well she’ll even let you out for a few hours.

Hey Nysh! What are your favorite fictional bonds/relationships? I'm not talking about romantic ones only, but also about platonic or familial ones. You have Great Taste on anything so I was curious 👀

Hmmmmm...🤔 let me think....I'd say my favorites consist of establishing very strong foundations - like mutual respect, trust & devotion for example, where the bond between acquaintances, platonic friends, rivals, or heck even enemies has the potential to develop into something more over time. (Aw heck, when looking at it this way, it usually satisfies my demi/ace spectrum side.) It's when you can feel there's something very strong & profound there, that defies all other conventional labels - but eventual 'soulmates' or life partners for example, even when not explicitly romantic, where they actively challenge or push each other towards becoming better people, are ones I tend to appreciate most. :'3

Let's take some rare m/f relationships in shonen I've liked for example - which may or may not always lead to romance (it's a bonus), but I really enjoyed the bonds between Ed & Winry (fma), Soul & Maka (Soul Eater), Yoshimori & Tokine (Kekkaishi - where the mc admires the rival girl who's older/more talented, which I found refreshing) and most recently between Power & Denji (Chainsaw Man) - where Power truly showed how she was The One eventually earning that most trustworthy/rewarding 'do or die' bond with the mc - very satisfying to me. :'3

As for same gender relationships, I probably don't need to elaborate why Deku & Kacchan (bnha) are probably the most compelling emotional crux of the series (thematically and symbolically, thru an entire roller coaster of angst and rewarding feelings), but also Gon & Killua (hxh) have something quite special, especially the devoted lengths Killua goes thru to save a devastated Gon from himself once he...[spoilers]. :')) (And more recently, speaking of such pure, unwavering devotion, the lengths Lan Zhan will go to protect Wei Ying in mdzs, against the ingrained rules of his clan towards what he now decides is morally righteous, is very impressive.)

As for more traditional rivals, I remember the main rivalry in Hikaru no Go standing out to me - because near the end, the rival stepped up to support/uplift the mc in a slump (while grieving over [spoiler]) which stuck with me as very strong. And in Glass Mask (very old school shoujo drama) the two rival girls went to such elaborate lengths pushing each other thru thick & thin. :'D

Ah, and speaking of shoujos...the most excruciating slow burn to end all slow burn romances is probably between the main m/f pair in Skip Beat - cause aaa the long torment thru hidden/secret/repressed feelings, yet mutually inspiring/pushing each other and keeping the reader invested thru all the other fun stuff going on - but most importantly you can feel the why & how their romantic feelings actually developed, which is a big plus I look for in any convincing romances played straight. :'D

yandere gon and killua headcanons?

Gon:

• Gon is such a sweet boy.

• At first you wouldn't be able to tell, he would be as kind and loving as usual. Though he would be easily flustered by even talking to you. I imagine him being fairly shy considering his old man is shy, so smiling back at a compliment he gave you will make his heart flutter.

• Being an Enhancer, he is fairly straight forward in his flirtation. He would buy flowers, chocolates, or small stuffed animals. He would be adorable when complimenting you, and if you fight it would be a bonus. Imagine fighting one-on-one with someone and he yells from the side how amazing that one technique you used was.

• You probably wouldn't know he was a Yandere for you, after all his advances are adorable, he isn't violent towards you or his friends, and he couldn't be something like that... right? Even if you don't show any interest in him, he'll stay tame.

• He would only show his Yandere tendencies if someone was to hurt or insult you.

• If it was an insult he would be more lax about his reaction. Gon would yell and throw fists at whoever would do such a thing. It would seem over the top for sure but he wouldn't easily let it go. He would only let it go if they said sorry or if you stopped him from going any further.

• But if it was someone deliberately hurting you, then lord have mercy on their soul. Gon would have little tolerance for something like that. He would fight them and give them hell, probably accidentally killing them in the process. I mean the little bean is really strong.

• Of course if he killed someone he wouldn't feel guilty about it, I mean they tried to hurt you.

• Gon wouldn't be clingy or cuddly, instead he would stay around you and do his best to make you happy. Still he has been through a lot so I'm certain he would love some affection in return.

• The little bean would be a relatively tame Yandere, only showing that side whenever someone tries to hurt you. I also don't think he would accidentally chase you away, he's just too sweet and innocent to leave behind. So his goal would be to keep you close without chasing you away, even when his little crush is obvious.

Killua:

• Killua is a pretty scary Yandere unlike Gon. He would defiantly take after his father and grandfather in regards to obsessive and possessive behavior.

• He wouldn't be below kidnaping, after all his last name typically deters new people. Though it wouldn't be his first instinct.

• Killua would first try to court you similarly to Gon. He would easily buy you gifts you've always wanted yet never told him about. A new game you've wanted? He just so happened to think you would like it. The nice yet expensive hoodie you had your eyes on? Killua thought it would look good on you.

• It has gone to the point that he would SHARE HIS CHOCO ROBOTS WITH YOU!

• Killua would come from behind and hug you or lightly tease you on your adorable looks. Though I imagine he would lightly tug on your hair and smack your ass just to get a reaction.

• He would be a bit more touchy than Gon but still would have a boyish charm to his antics. His Yandere tendencies would show when you say something he doesn't like. Example would be if you say you aren't interested you will be able to notice the shine of his eyes dim a bit.

• More importantly if you try to leave he will blackmail you first, probably forcing his brother Milluki to get some information on you. After all he is part of a famous assassin family that would do almost anything for him. If that doesn't work than your family members or friends will be threatened next. If that doesn't work than he will simply resort to kidnaping and torture if need be.

• He would keep you by his side at all times, after all being the obsession of a Zoldyck would make you a huge target. He would smother you in hugs, I feel like that would be his favorite.

• Anyone That does anything to you will be promptly taken care of, the assassin switch would be turned on and he would serve no mercy. If he wanted to kill them because of something petty he would take them out without you with him. Probably would make it look like an accident. Though if it was something worse he wouldn't care if you were near him. I mean if you watch him kill someone you would be less likely to leave, right?

Poly(Gon+Killua):

• Just because I can and just because these two brain cells would defiantly work together.

• If these two find an obsessive interest in you, then you aren't going anywhere. They will be two sides of the same coin, if Killua is dealing with someone then Gon is protecting you, and vice versa.

• Gon would be the more sweet one while Killua would be the more touchy one. Defiantly expect them to surprise kiss you on the cheeks whenever anything happens. They seem to work as a single mind somehow. If Killua hugs you Gon is right there doing the same. If Gon buys you a gift Killua will race to give you his first. The two will practically challenge each other for your affection.

• Again escape will probably be impossible, Killua will be the main one to make sure of that.

• Gon and Killua will go to each other for advice and will gossip about anything you do to each other. Their conversation would be them conversing about how amazing and perfect you are. If one mentions your body the other will mention you personality and the conversation would never end.

• Playing favorites would be impossible, if you end up trying to stay with Gon because Killua murdered someone in front of you, Gon will force you closer to Killua. The white haired boy would do the same thing, after all they need each other just as much as they need you.

  Uvogin

Uvogin is often described as animalistic and you need to know this is not limited to when he is fighting: This man is the sort of person who is fartoo connected with his most primal instincts. Normally, this is not exactly abad thing, but in his case, it is and it can easily become worse when he’s pushed into Yandere Valley, especially considering his personality,not to mention the “take what you want even if by force” mindset of the Troupeand how they already don’t exactly give a damn about who they hurt to achievetheir goals.

 While not one to beat around the bush or hide his interest once it isprovoked, Uvogin is not stupid and the Troupe is the only thing that mattersfor him, so he is usually careful with “normal” interactions and tends to preferone-night stands (far safer in his opinion and besides, he doesn’t have anyemotional attachments outside of the Spider and doesn’t care to have), meaning itwill be a surprise for him when he realizes he is thinking of you with far morecare than he’s used to and also more often… It would be easier if it was simplylust, but somehow, it doesn’t feel like that.

 Despite the initial surprise, once this starts and realizes it (whichwill be pretty soon), Uvogin won’t want to put an end to it or try to forget you(while, in fact, his obsession grows). It’s simply not in his nature. In fact,once he realizes he wants you, whatever past might be between you won’tmatter, even if you’re meant to be enemies or if you’re hunting the Spidersdown (in a way, in his obsession, Uvogin may find this exciting). Once he issure he wants you for life, he’ll also make his intentions clear.

 Hey, it’s not that you actually have a choice, but he thought you mightappreciate the pretense all the same. Sorry, sweetheart, he isn’t a chocolateand roses kind of guy, remember? When the Spiders want something, they take itand he’s no different.

 Despite the circumstances that led to you two meeting, even if yourealize the danger you’re in and decide it might be smarter to find a hell of agood place to hide for a while (hoping he’ll get over you or something), thiswon’t do more than buy you a few days. Going to the authorities and beingplaced in a safe house is useless just as well. The Spiders stick together and isvery likely some of them (such as Shalnark) will help him get to you if things geta little more complicated. While some stalkers may give up their currentobsession with time, this tactic won’t work with Uvogin. No matter where youare or the security you have, he will find you.

 Hey, if he has to kill (read: slaughter) some morons along the way, it’snothing that will keep him up at night. It will be a pretty gruesome scene andunless you’re unconscious, you’ll see it as he drags you along with him. On a note, Uvogin might not kill your family (at least not this time) or your friends (if he’s completely sure they are indeed just friends, thoughthe chances are not as good as with your family). Also, contrary to someothers, Uvogin won’t drag this “game” for longer than necessary or just take histime as he corners you. Yes, he is a predator and a hunter, this sort of thingis fun and all, but why waste time when you’re so close? Especially if you’vemanaged to stay away for what he deems to be too long. What may happen is that,when the perfect opportunity to get you comes, he will let you run -literally-and believe you’re safe before catching you. Uvogin doesn’t mean this as torture,it’s just that it’s too fun for him to let it pass.

 From then on, it’s hopeless.

 You can reason, cry, argue, or yell that this isn’t love, but Uvogin won’treally give a damn, even if he doesn’t enjoy to see you in distress (if hislevel of obsession allows him that, at least). In his mind, you can call thiswhatever you want, but he wants you with him, so that’s it. Besides, there aremany types of love, and this is the love of a thief. Get used to it,little love, because you’re not going anywhere. Note that Uvogin isn’tdelusional enough to insist that you do love him and just doesn’t knowit yet, but this doesn’t mean he will care whether kidnapping you was crossinga line or not. While won’t take pleasure or be indifferent to your suffering, itwon’t make him regret his actions not even for a moment. If anything, hemay point out that the sooner you get used to your new life, the sooner thingswill start to get better.

 He just knows he loves you and wants you with him, so what else matters?

 It’s pretty disturbing how Uvogin will act all nice and gentle when you’renot trying to escape even if you’re defying him (this if his obsession isn’t onthose hellish levels where the instability becomes far too intense for him toeven resemble who he used to be, in this case, it’s better to keep your mouthshut) and, surprisingly, for someone who can be so ruthless and brutal whenfighting, it’s unlikely Uvogin will be violent around you (well, with you). It’s not that his personality will change, but in his own way, he’ll be affectionate…

 Not a sight anyone who has fought him would expect and not that it makes thingsany better, no matter how much he says he loves you while dismissing how muchpain he’s causing you. Uvogin will often want you near him, wanting to enjoythe moments he has with you when he’s not doing some job with the Spiders. In thosetimes, if no one can stay back to what you, Uvogin won’t hesitate to force you insidea cage or place a chain around your ankle and locking you in your room. If youcry, he will just joke that he’ll miss you too, love.

 The rest of the Troupe is no better, either, but then again, did youexpect anything different?

 When you try to escape, Uvogin is likely to allow you to go until acertain point before catching you… It’s an interesting game of tag and whatbetter way to make you understand you can’t ever leave? If you keep insistingor if we’re talking about a rescue, though, it won’t be pretty… At all. Manyanimals get irritated with what they consider an invasion of their territory ora “threat” to their mates and, well, remember how Uvogin bit through a man’sskull once? Yeah, what happens will be along those lines and he won’t hesitateto make you watch.

 Or maybe you can try asking nicely for him to spare their lives?Maybe you can be kinder to him in return? Yeah, Uvogin won’t hesitate touse them as levarage to force you into showing him some affection, even if it’sfake (which he’ll escalate into an attempt at seducting you very soon).

 Of course, you don’t need to know he killed them anyway (or thatsome other member of the Spider did). Come on, you didn’t really expect them tolet someone get so close and just walk away, did you?

 Silva

Silva is not a man who has much of a care for morals and even in a normalstate of mind he’ll consider all the options he has to achieve his goalsand get what he wants. This relentness will only become stronger once hebecomes a yandere for you and while this can often be said for any Yandere, the fact that Silva already has this streak doesn’t mean anything goodfor you. Silva is already used to do disregard limits, already has connections and means, so he won’t hesitate when he decides to pursue you evenafter you’ve rejected his advances.

Not being an impulsive man, it’s unlikely that he’ll become obsessed withyou after a single meeting (though some interest might be incited), regardlessof how you first cross paths: Maybe he met you while chasing a target, maybeyou’re a friend of Killua and came with Gon, Leorio and Kurapika to rescue him,so on. Your following meetings might be brief, he may just hear something aboutyou, but eventually, he will find himself growing… Curious. He’ll then decideto find more about you whenever the opportunity arises, since there are very veryfew people he considers “interesting” outside of his inner circle. You don’t evenhave to be a Hunter for that to happen.

At first, it will be apparently harmless enough (for a Zoldyckassassin, it should be said): He may read about your work, or watch a match ifyou fight in Heaven’s Arena… In a sense, at first, his view will be completelyanalytic: If he watches you fighting, for example, Silva will first focus onyour style, your abilities, your strong and weak points (only later he’ll be focusingmore on you). It’s extremelly hard to say what he’s thinking, but there probablywon’t be any darker intentions just yet. Silva is truly just curious.

There will come a time when second-hand information won’t be as satisfyingfor Silva and he’ll decide to watch you from afar personally. It is nothing outof ordinary for him, after all, there have been times when he observed histarget for some time before killing them… Well… He knows he doesn’t want tokill you, but he isn’t that sure of what he wants with you either (at least atfirst) and this will frustrate him for a good while, as it’s rare for him toget confused or unsure of what he things or feels.

Watching you from afar, seeing you personally, seeing you smile tosomeone else, will change that. Silva will realize very soon that he wants you… He may take one or two days to consider the situation, to think about whatis happening and if this isn’t a passing idea or if he isn’t mixing things up(an irony, considering obsession isn’t love). In the end, Silva will decidethat while things did not start this way, it’s how they are now.

What about Kikyo, you ask?

It depends… We haven’t seen much of their interactions to be completelysure of whether or not there is actual love in that marriage. When it comesdown to it, there are two options: They truly love each other (as strange as itmight seem considering how this family is) or Silva met Kikyo, saw something inher that would be useful for the Zoldyck’s bloodline and manipulated her to thepoint she is completely devoted to him now (I’ve read somewhere Kikyo came fromthe Meteor City. If that’s so, then marrying a powerful, rich man with areputation such as Silva must’ve seemed a dream come true to her, so no wondershe would do whatever he desires). As such, there are also two options of howthings might work in this scenario: Either Silva would kill Kikyo and make itlook like an accident (which he would be able to pull off to the point even hischildren wouldn’t think otherwise) or Kikyo, due to her blind devotion to Silva,wouldn’t mind him having a mistress (which she would consider as a pet of sorts).

In a way or another, Silva won’t care about what he has to do to makesure you’re his, regardless of your (or anyone else’s) opinion on the matter.

At first, Silva will try more normal means of getting to you (courting you,we might say) since he’d much rather have you coming to him willingly, but itwon’t take long for him to determine whether this may get the desirable resultsor not (Silva is great at reading people and remember he won’t have problemswith “checking” on you to know how this idea is going). From them on, hisattempts will start to get unsettling, as there will be an undertone of threateven with the most innocent of gestures: It’s his way of telling you this isyour last chance of doing this the easier way. He’s being nice for now, butthis can change. While most guys may be somewhat insistent without it becoming harassment, it won’t be so with Silva. Long before the time comeswhen he warns you he is not taking “no” for an answer, you’ll alreadyhave the feeling you’re in serious trouble.

Silva has many means of getting to you: From kidnapping you when you’remost vulnerable, to threatening your loved ones to bribing policemen working onkeeping you safe to just hand you over… He has many options and he’ll know whichone works better depending on the circumstances. He will prefer to not involveyour family or closest friends, since it would be counter-productive in thelong run.

While with Illumi you at least can walk around the mansion and thegardens, it won’t be so with Silva: You’ll be kept in a room deep within theZoldyck estate and the only times when you’ll get out will be accompanied byhim, when Silva decides you need/deserve a walk around the gardens. As he willtell you with a smile, there isn’t any way you can escape, so don’t bother totry. Don’t worry, though, you’ll have anything and everything you might wishfor. And it’s true, Silva will have no problems with pampering you even if younever ask for anything.

In a way, it’s not so different than it was with Alluka and, just like itwas with her, it won’t mean anything when you don’t have your freedom. Don’tbother asking for it either. Silva won’t ever let you go (and he will tell you thatquite clearly if it’s necessary).

While some Yanderes might at least feel bad about seeing you suffer,regardless if they understand the depths of what they’re doing and how terribleit is, it won’t be so with Silva. Oh, he knows what he is doing and he believes he loves you, he does, but he’s not a man to be moved by the suffering ofothers even if he claims to care for them. Your tears are just a necessary eviland Silva won’t let you go just because you’re crying. The most compassionate reactionhe may have is to just hold you close and start whispering how things will bealright once you realize how much he loves you.

One thing you should never forget, and that makes the situation evenworse, is that Silva is and always will be, a manipulator. Being theonly one who you have contact with (he may let the butlers serve you from timeto time, but they won’t be allowed to really talk to you), he knows theloneliness will end up making you talk with him. At first, it will be innocentconversation, nothing that appears to have importance…

But Silva will reach the topics of your “previous” life and twist thingsto his advantage. You talk of how you love your friends, how you miss them?Silva will lie that they haven’t even tried to rescue you or remind you of badtimes and arguments you had or anything else he can use against them (andbecause he stalked you, he knows quite a few things), slowly poisoning yourmind with doubts, while acting all sweet and caring.

Silva won’t isolate you just physically, but mentally and emotionally aswell, doing his best to convince you he’s the only one who truly loves you, whounderstands you. He wasn’t kidding when he said he wants to be the only one you’llever think about.

Also, while other Yanderes may truly want you to love them, Silva won’tcare as much. Oh, he wants you to love him, he does, but asfrustrating as it might be if it doesn’t happen, he will content himself withhaving you there. Besides, he knows it will be just a matter of time until yourgive in and accept the situation…

After all, it’s not like you can ever leave, is it?

like I said here, I think Illumi gets along the best with Kalluto

he’s also the only one of the siblings who he can train with

and that means playing hide and seek, trying to hide their Auras while the other searches

Kalluto secretly enjoys this a lot (what a sweet baby 💕)

Illumi feels a bit nostalgic because he used to do this with his other younger siblings as well when he was younger himself

Illumi doesn’t really bother any of his other sibling, except for Killua

and that’s mostly because of his parents and Zeno’s words and influence

rarely goes to Milluki for help, but when he does, he always bring Milluki something he knows he might want or like (a figurine or his favourite character, for example, even if he already has like 12 of them)

Kalluto just loves being given attention, especially since he’s the youngest

so if any of his brothers do it, he almost always feels like following them around like a little puppy

just... silently begging for a bit more attention

he doesn’t really like Alluka, mostly because of how easily she makes people like her and expresses her emotions

plus he remembers that time when Alluka pretty much pulled Killua away to play with her and her dolls

even though he was already playing with Kalluto

will sometimes make a pillow fort and sleep in it because he thinks his room it too empty

wishes he could ask Illumi to come and sleep in his pillow fort at least once, but since he’s really busy and is afraid Illumi won’t accept

he invites Milluki instead

he accepts sometimes, mostly because he knows Kalluto wouldn’t really ask unless he really wanted that

Killua used to make pillow forts with him and even camp in the gardens of the estate

when it comes to Milluki, he honestly looks up to Illumi and respects him a lot

but he almost felt like killing Illumi at one point when the latter wondered, aloud, why would Milluki prefer a pillow with a drawn woman on it and not an actual girlfriend?

doesn’t really pay much attention to his siblings, but he’d drop pretty much everything if he actually had to help them or the family - this applies to pretty much everyone in the family

we all know how much Alluka and Killua love each other, right?

well, Alluka is honestly one of the few people who Killua would willingly give his ChocoRobo-kun chocolate balls to

though Alluka insists on the two of them sharing and Killua accepts almost immediately

Alluka loves making flower crown and even when it’s winter and there are no flowers outside, the butlers bring her flowers anyway and she makes them with those

always loves listening to Killua tell her stories about where he’s been and what he’s seen and done

Killua would honestly like to interact a lot more with Kalluto

but only if that meant they wouldn’t be disturbed by Kikyo or anyone else

maybe except for Alluka

and he always bring things for Alluka whenever he comes home to visit her - sweets, toys, jewellery etc.

she’s always so happy and then she’s even happier with knowing that it’s from one of her favourite brothers and that he gets to stay with her for a while
