Testing out art styles and stuff so I can feel more satisfied with my art. Ending up questioning if Jack understood the other two were orphans or not, and if maybe he hoped for a little bit that their parents were coming to help. Because that's what parents do! They show up and help. So why are they still trapped there?

Also I kinda headcanon the events were too blurry for Jack to understand, so he doesn't know his parents are dead, just that he can't see them again for a mysterious reason. So they're sitting there, being tortured, forced to work all day, and Jack is waiting for people who will never show up.

Kevin I think has long accepted nobody will ever "save" him for being a "monster" and "problem" child so he's kinda just "well this is my life now until i kill everyone or die myself. No way of getting around it. Certainly no option where an adult is trustworthy."

Matthew I think wouldn't know what to say, because he'd want to make Jack feel better. But he doesn't want Kevin to feel worse, and honestly, what can he even say to that? Their parents are all dead? No one is coming? They'll probably die there? These poor kids man. I'm gonna go cry about them now.

Not much to say about this other than I was testing a few things, mainly working with airbrushes more. Sketching certainly felt easier but everything else was tedious. I think it helped make Doey look more dough-y though, the colors mixed more like real play-do.

I'm not super satisfied with this especially since I got lazy and didn't finish their bodies, but I think it's an improvement. Matthew was so close to being bald because I just did not want to try and think up a hairstyle.

Sorry if the testing of different styles clashes weirdly. But. Look. It's the boys!! They got drawed:3
