i realized that the last time i drew @littlestpersimmon 's phoebus and andromede was two years ago and got very nostalgic all of a sudden so here are the babies + a house parasite!!! i never post on tumblr anymore but this definitely belongs on here 🤠✨

The idea of radiation poisoning is what kills him is very intriguing. Tell me more????? Please

In Phoebus and Andromede, they live on a rogue planet and Dallas is an engineer- albeit a rather “stupid” one. Their safezone is running out of oxygen, so Dallas goes out to collect the oxygen that rains down, because he is the “stupidest” at the team, and if he dies during the mission, it won’t be a blow too hard. Eitherway, Dallas becomes exposed to something like the elephant’s foot, and he comes back the safe zone, with only a few weeks left to live-

(Malek is obviously, distraught.)

Dallas dies by radiation poisoning: Malek takes Dallas to the last moon base to watch a simulated moonrise together with him- The moon base offered a model of how earth was before the sun died: The high tides, the night sky, the constellations- it was almost real.

Someday, Malek says, as though Dallas would live to see Someday-Someday we'll climb mango trees together, and pick shells from a sea that isn't frozen over-Someday, I'll take you to see the ocean, and count all the starfish that'll wash ashore-

(Put back all the sand dollars into the water, so that they may have the chance to life that was robbed of Dallas)

What would Dallas be doing as a career if he didn't become a Baseball player? Does he have any other hobbies?

Hmm. He'd probably study either art, or botany. But he doesn't really have much confidence in his drawing skills, and he doesn't think he's smart enough for science stuff. He'd much rather sit down and listen to his friends ramble. Parker with insects, Malek with marine biology, Phoebus with astrophysics, and so on, and so forth. Poppy also paints, but she's so talented at what she does, whenever she'd try to peer into Dallas' notebook, he'd have to stand at his full height and lift his notebook. Seeing a girl as tall as Poppy trying to wrestle a boy as tall as Dallas is probably the funniest, simultaneously cutest thing the baseball team has seen. Poppy: omg Dallas' bag Malek: *taking the bag and hiding it protectively within his arms* Poppy no he trusted you to respect his privacyPoppy: damn you.. guilt tripping me like this.. Poppy: fine. Malek: good kid *puts the bag down* Poppy: *snatch* sike!!!!!!!! Dallas: *running across the campus* stop!!!!!!!I had to dig up my old notes for this ask. But I keep reminding everyone that Eerie Crests is like, a sister story to Phoebus and Andromede, and in Phoebus and Andromede, Dallas was a botanist. (Dallas is also Kinda dead in Phoebus and Andromede omfg poor Malek )Botanist Dallas though? Surrounded by plants all the time, always calm and happy.

Heyy person who made that post about one fear being the major character death warning, for one, SAME OMG but also if Dallas is dead (that's what the creator said rigjt? Idk my fam) in the Phoebus and Andromeda (I'm sorry f I got the names wrong I can't check I'm on mobile sorry) then like I'm so afraid it's gonna be Dallas ahh

dude phoebus and andromede is my lifeblood and trust me…i would die for that story and it’s not even written, like not kidding when i say my phone automatically suggests i type andromede after any ‘and’ i write BU T T i do not think dallas being dead in that will give any indication for eerie crests

like okay ….first of all ?? that WOULD be a killer twist (hehehe) but mmm im just not sure if it would fit, i mean in ec dallas is the relatable main character who gets left behind when his friend “dies”/goes missing/who tf knows what happens to malek, and him actually dying or like secretly having been dead the whole time(??) or smth wouldn’t have the same Kick™ ukno?? he needs to be alive and have Many Emotions about this whole thing

thinking about starting Phoebus and Andromede as a whole comic already pros: SPACE ADVENTURE Rogue Planet Phoebus is the best boy and the main character cons: Dallas is dead Dallas being dead means Malek ends up with someone not Dallas thoughts?
