HOW TO CHANNEL SOMEONE
{or channel memories from your dr/people/higher self}

Channeling is connecting with someoneās energy or consciousness, allowing you to receive memories, messages, or answers.
There's a lot of ways to channel someone but I'm going to go through couple of them;
Methods: meditation and visualization/automatic writing/channeling through dreams/using a necklace or a pendulum
{a little tip}
Relax and trust the process. Often, memories and answers will come to you naturally when you're not actively trying to force them. Pay attention to sudden thoughts, feelings, or deja vu momentsāthey might be glimpses from your DR. Be patient.
1. MEDITATION AND VISUALIZATION
Sit or lie down in a quiet space.
Close your eyes and visualize any place you want.
Picture the person from your DR you want to connect with. Imagine their presence vividly, including their voice, appearance, and energy. Or if you want to channel your higher self you can simple ask.
In your mind or outloud, ask them to share a memory or whatever you want.
2. AUTOMATIC WRITING
Grab a pen and notebook or you can use your phone/anything you can write on.
Quiet your mind and think of the person you want to channel.
Set the intention: āI invite [Name] to share their memories with me/answer my questionsā
Begin writing whatever comes to mind, without overthinking.
3. CHANNELING THROUGH DREAMS
Before bed, set the intention to meet the person in your dreams and ask for whatever you want.
Visualize the person clearly as you fall asleep, focusing on their energy and presence. Or ask a question for specific person/higher self.
{tip; set the intention to remember the dream vividly or keep something you can write it in as soon as you wake up}
4. CHANNELING WITH NECKLACE OR PENDULUM
{remember: necklace must have some kind of pendant on it}
Cleanse the tool: Run it under water, pass it through incense smoke, or visualize white light surrounding it {OPTIONAL}
Sit in a quiet space and relax. Set your intention: Hold the necklace or pendulum and say, āI call [Name] to connect with meā
Determined the movements example: back and fourth=yes. Side to side=no. Circle= maybe.
{you can write it on a paper and put it under it as your channel}
Begin channeling, and if you want to make sure it your person ask questions they will know to answer to.
You can even put a keyboard under it and have it move towards the letters as it makes a sentence.
At the end you can say goodbye.
LITTLE ADD: HOW I PERSONALLY CHANNEL AND CONNECT TO PEOPLE FROM MY DR EVERYDAY
{tips; you can make sure the pendant on your necklace is heavy enough/be in a room with no wind/ put your elbows on a hard surface as you do this to keep your hand steady/trust that connection will guide your hand.}
SOME AFFIRMATIONS YOU CAN SAY:
SAFETY
1. My boundaries are strong, and only safe connections are allowed in my space.
2. The universe (God or whoever you believe in) supports and protects me at all times.
3. Only energies that align with my highest good can reach me.
4. I am grounded, centered, and completely safe.
CHANNELLING
1. I easily connect with [Name] from and receive.
2. I am open to communication with [Name], and it flows effortlessly.
3. I am fully aligned with [Name] and those within it.
4. Memories from my DR flow to me naturally and effortlessly.
Focus on the people you want; their energy, your relationship, scenarios... and basically relax and set the intention or ask them to be present in your cr by sending your messages/signs or whatever you want. I keep this connection open and they are welcomed every day to send me messages.
A little warning:
Don't let this take over your shifting journey; remember shifting and experiencing it first hand is much better then just having memories or talking to people from your dr. Yes this can be great motivation but don't let it take over.
This is not to scare you but to warn you and remind you of what can you really have:)

The Ol Switcharoo (pt5)
Stan x reader / ford x reader
Summary: you are forced to question the life you've lived for 30 years.
Warning: none
āanyone on my tagliatelle who isn't seeing this when I Tag them let me know ik I've been having problems tagging a few of ya'll
~~~~~~~~ā~~~~~~~
"I'm feeling little over dressed for the occasion." You said stepping into the kitchen wearing one of your best outfits for the date Mable had prepared for you and Stanford.
Stanford stood in the kitchen with a smile. "Are you kidding!? Look at'cha, you're stunning!" Stanford said you smiled as he reached out a hand and guided you to the table, pulling out your seat before pushing you in and sitting down himself.
Mable insisted your first date be at home, Dipper and Soos dressed to a T in fancy waiter outfits the table set with the nicest/ least stained tablecloth in the house. And Mable in a chef hat.
"I promise to take out out somewhere real nice." Stanford whispered as Mable scooped whatever she had on the stove onto plates. You chuckled in response before Dipper and soos presented you with the meals.
Your eyes widened. You looked at Stanford mouthing a thank you for the real date dinner in advance. Stanford managed to get you away from Mable and Into the car for some real food.
"Most fancy places are closed for the night. The best I can offer is burgers." He said, driving down the quiet road. "I love Mable, but anything is better than that." You both laughed. Eventually, you had your food as he pulled up to the lake, and you both sat and ate. Talking Like two teenagers on a first date.
For the following weeks, you found your rooms were now shared, and mornings and evening were greeted with quick kisses. It was a new routine you found yourselves falling into. Mable noted that stan was "a lot less grunkler" since the change. Even when everything was crazy it still worked.
After everything in your lives had finally calmed down, after saving the shack, repairing it, a Zombie apocalypse. You found the house was silent with what felt like the first night of peaceful sleep.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Y/n! I have been trying to reach you for a while!"
The voice that pulled you from your sleep boomed loud enough to startle you awake. You sat up in bed seeing the world around you was greyscaled Stanford fast asleep next to you and a familiar glowing freak above you.
His single eye staring down at you.
"Wh...will?..what are you doing here?"
You asked, sitting up as you did the world around, turned up right, causing you to slide straight out of bed into a chair. "Relax, we're in your dream, and the names BILL though I can't say I blame you, I was a complete and total secret but trust me y/n I know all about you."
You stared at him squinting, you where far to tired to understand what he was saying to you right now.
"What do you want?"
"A truce, I came to apologize for breaking into stans mind and almost killing shooting star and pine tree. And to warn you."
"Warn me?"
"Something big is coming something that will change your life! And I want you to know I'm on your side."
"On my side? Bill, I don't understand what you are talking about!"
"Trust me, you will, and when you do, you'll want a friend to be there for you, I'm offering myself for when everything you know changes. By the way, how well do you really know that stan?" He asked, pointing to Stanford asleep in bed.
"That stan?" You turned back, but as you did, you shot up in bed, clutching a piece of paper, breathing heavy. You looked down at the paper that looked like it had been torn out of something.
"Contact me, BFF!" Was scribbled across the top, and twoard the bottom was a cipher and some sort of incantation. You still fought to catch your breath. Your hand moved to shake Stanford awake, but your hand fell straight through the air and hit the empty space of your mattress.
"Stanford?"
That was a couple of weeks ago. You had folded up the page and tucked it under your mattress, trying to forget about the whole thing.
But every know and then you would get this hotrible feeling, you started to look at stanford weird and did your best to shake off the feeling. Luckily, Stanford had promised to take you out to dinner just the two of you. He told you he had something important to tell you.
"Aaahh, what if he asks you to marry him!?" Mable said excitedly from behind you as you had let her brush your hair. "I highly doubt that. You said clipping your last earring into place.
"Dipper! Doesn't y/n look beautiful! Grunkle stans going to ask her to marry him!" You rolled your eyes and looked at dippers worried face in the mirror.
"What's wrong?" You asked, turning around and crouching to his level. "Y/n There's something important I want to share with you I wanted to come to you first but I went against my better judgment and told stan first now i know you where the right choice."
"Of course you know you can tell me anything, dipper."
"OK you know about how strange and unusual gravity falls is." You nodded thinking to every monster, dinosaur, and ghost you had encountered with the twins even recalling some of the stuff from when you were young. Then the feeling set in again.
"Something big is coming something that will change your life as you know it!"
Rang out in your head. You wondered if what Dipper was about to tell you had anything to do with this. "Ah, c'mon dipdip can't this wait till after y/n and stan get home?" Mable asked, appearing from behind you now covered in makeup. Dipper rubbed his arm. "I guess..."
"Are you sure, Dipper? I can listen." He nodded. "OK, I'll see you in a few hours, ok?" You said ruffling his head. "Call if anything happens.
That was an hour ago already. You sat nervously at the restaurant Stanford promised to meet you at after he finished a few things up at the shack.
You tapped your glass and counted cars as they drove past the window you were sat by and looked at the gifted (more like lifted since it was a stolen antique store in portland) watch on your wrist and saw how late it was getting.
You sighed, resting your head on the table, watching the water droplets race down your glass. And you watched as the glass went up as the hair that fell around your face go cup as well. You pushed yourself up only to find yourself lifting out of the chair into the air before crashing back into your booth.
You paused only for a moment, trying to wrap your head around what that might have been, then ran to call the Pines family.
There was no answer for a long time you hung up and refilled several times before giving up. You grabbed your things and raced to the shack only being stopped by the same phenomenon as before.
Was this part of what Bill was trying to tell you about? Where are Stanford and the kids ok? So many thoughts raced through your head as you ran as fast as you could home.
"WHY would they call him unnamed!?"
"Unless stan isn't really stan"
The two kids looked up at the large painting of their great uncle on the wall behind them in horror.
"But there has to be some explanation as to why he would have all these fake ID'S and why that news paper says he's dead." Mable said trying to rationalize as Dipper continued to pull things from the box
"What about Y/n!? Is y/n even y/n!? What if she's in on this!?"
"In on what?" You asked pushing open the door.
The kids both screamed at your appearance.
"Are you kids ok!? Where is your grunkle and...what is all this?" You asked stepping further into the room to get a better look at what they had laid out on the floor in front of them.
In a different universe, Stanford Pines was an honest man. In a different universe, he didn't lie or cheat. He showed up to his date on time, there was no weird gravital anomalies interrupting your day.
You thought about this alternate reality as you stood over the fake IDs, news paper clipping, pass ports, the screen from the shack security cameras glow portraying a man you only assumed to be Stanford pines carrying gallons worth if toxic waste into the gift shop.
"What is this?"
You asked staring down at it afraid to move. "Is this why there are government vehicles surrounding this place?"
"You mean you don't know why stand has all this?" Dipper asked.
You shook your head.
In another universe, Stanford agreed to visit your family, even to just get away with you. In that same universe, he never changed, you where still hunting monsters and doing science stuff. In that same universe, you move out of the shack into a lovely home you share together, you teach together, and you live a beautiful and adventurous life. And he was still your Frodsy.
You didn't realize, but there was a ringing in your ear that tuned out the two children as they talked. All you could do is let time pass as your brain tried to work out yet another explanation.
Then Mable found the code.
"This isn't like any code I've ever seen before." Dipper said.
"The vending machine." You said quietly.
Your body had a mind of its own as you followed the twins to the vending machine in the giftshop.
"How well do you know that stan?"
This had to be what Bill meant by "that stan"
Without thinking, you typed the code into the vending machine as the kids distracted and fought off Soos, Without thinking...
"He swore he blocked this off..." You going down the stairs you hadn't seen in 30 years.
You felt as though you could throw up. Whe. You saw what was going on in the basement, the portal up and running, and with only a few moments to go. "So this is what's been causing problems... this is where he's been going!?" You half shout half say to the room.
You stare down at the desk seeing two familiar red journal. "The journal..." You and Dipper say at the same time.
"You know about these?" You ask in unison again.
"Your grunkle and I wrote them? How do you know about these?"
"When I said I wanted to tell you something." You watched Dipper pull a third journal from his vest.
"Grunkle stan wrote these?" Mable asked when you took the journal from dippers hands opening all of them to reveal the blueprints for the portal that sat in the room adjacent the one you stood in.
"What is it?" Dipper asked, looking at the pages. You glanced up at the timer and suddenly felt yourself fliat back into your body and realization kicked in "We have no time.We need to shut it off now. Kids stay here. Soos come help me. " You moved quickly. "We can help!"
"No! Please just stay safe! If your grunkle gets back, do NOT let him out of this control room!" You ordered them.
You and soos worked quickly enough to turn off the emergency kill switch just like you rememberd doing years ago. You felt a million emotions trickling inside you. Most of all, you felt angry that he would lie about keeping the portal, lie about working on it, and keep you out of it.
You scanned the room as the portal whipped your hair around you finally spotted it.
30 years never felt more wasted than it did in this very moment the moment it took you to walk from the key switch all the way to the shiny red button.
"Y/n Wait!" You frozen looking over at Stanford in the door way as the kids and now soos pushed him back.
"Don't touch that button, please!"
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!"
the kids couldn't hold him any longer, and he pushed past them running to meet you only to stop halfway, noticing you inch closer to the button as a defense. "Please! Just wait! Don't do anything! I can explain!" You watched Mable and Dipper get up. Dipper made eye contact with you as if he were trying to telepathically tell you something. It only took you spotting Mable trying to sneak around you for you to realize.
You stepped forward, pointing an accusing finger at Stanford. "After everything! You lied to me!? For how long!? When were you going to tell me? DONT YOU REMEMBER ALL THE HORRIBLE THINGS THIS THING HAS DONE!?" You asked poking him in the chest with a finger pushing him away from the button where Mable now stood.
"Yes! I wanted to tell you sooner! I was going to tell you today-"
"Today!? That's why you wanted to have dinner." You were getting off track. Before anyone could say anything else, your feet lifted off the ground, and you were in the air. "Now, Mable, press it now!" You heard Dipper yell.
"Mable, wait!" She froze as Stanford dove through the air for her as she gripped onto the pole.
Dipper soos and yourself took onto the task of catching him and pulling him away from her.
"30 YEARS OF NOTHING! STANFORD PINES! I CANT BELIEVE I WAISTED ALL THIS TIME JUST FOR YOU TO PULL A STUNT LIKE THIS!" He watched your angry tears roll down your cheek then up into the air around you.
"It wasnt waited, just hear me out all of you!" He plead as you held him against the wall. He stared you in the eyes a sad look met your furious gaze.
"I wanted to tell you all, your going to hear some bad stuff about me, some of it's true but believe me everything! Even this is for my family for a of you." He said the last part pointedly at you.
"Hit the button mable!" You yelled.
"Don't trust him!" Dipper followed up.
She looked around at everyone when her eyes locked with stanfords you knew what she was going to say
You quickly made a move to push it before her, but Stanford grabbed your hand and held you back. "I'm sorry! Trust me." You stared at him.
"I trust you grunkle stan!"
rating: Smut, 18+
You couldn't deny that you had feelings for Lucifer, you often thought about holding his hand or what it would be like to date him. So you couldn't help but smile when he offered to Tutor you for upcoming testing. It was a rare occasion for Lucifer to be able to tutor you instead of sticking it on Satan again, on account of the workloads Diavolo annually places on him.
āāŗāā āāāāā±ą¼ļø ⢠ą¼ļøā°āāāā āāŗāā
You had brought your schoolwork to Lucifer's room, setting the stack of papers on his glass table, and sitting down on his couch. Lucifer came to sit next to you, pressing his leg against yours.
Clearing his throat, Lucifer said, "Let's begin with Spells and Potions..." Trying not to be distracted by his thigh touching yours, you jotted down the most important things.
"So, What do you think this one is?"Lucifer said, pointing towards the question and leaning over.
"I think that the answer is..." You trailed off, unsure if what you were about to say was right or wrong.
"Hm, Almost correct, Can you tell me what's wrong with this excerpt here?" He said, lightly placing his gloved hand on your knee, using his other hand to point towards the line of text you misinterpreted
"Uh," you paused, trying to sort your thoughts, there's no way Lucifer did that on purpose, it must've been an accident, no reason to get worked up... "Right here where I wrote eye of eye of newt, it's supposed to be, uh.."
Lucifer's hand trailed up from your knee to your thigh "Eye of hellfire newt, a small but distinct difference, it's easy to get confused when making this potion. The effects are, adverse and unwieldy." he chuckled lowly, lightly squeezing your thigh
"Let's continue, next is...Anatomy class," He continued, removing his hand from your thigh to pull his coat off "You need to understand a Demon's anatomy," his hands drifted to his necktie, wiggling it slightly before pulling it undone.
"Our bodies inside and out are actually quite similar, except for a few differences..." Lucifer explained, going into more detail, pulling his gloves off to unbutton his shirt, the first few buttons popping away from their spots, revealing his soft skin, and collar bones. "So tell me, where do you think my heart is? Go ahead, point." He shifted his body towards you on the couch, welcoming you to make the next move.
"W-wait what?" Your face flushed, Why did he just strip?! "I, I'm not sure.." you said, looking away, even though you wanted to stare.
Even when Lucifer went to the beach, with you and all his brothers, he wore a SPF shirt, never showing his muscles in their full glory, but now, you could finally see what he hit underneath his shirt. His ample pecs were decorated by his flush, pink nipples. You could eat up the sight for hours,, but it's wrong to look at somebody like that when they're trying to be professional, or at least that's what you thought was going on.
In all reality, you were completely oblivious to the fact Lucifer was coming on to you. And Lucifer was completely oblivious to the fact you were a virgin.
"Here, I'll show you." He said, smirking, guiding your hand with his towards his chest "If you press firmly enough, you can hear my heartbeat."
your breath stopped for a moment, his heart beat rapidly, and you could feel it radiating in your fingertips. Something about the way your hand pressed against his chest lit a fire in your loins. As soon as you felt it, heat flushed through your face, looking away and pulling your hand back.
"uh- sorry, yeah I felt your heartbeat," you said, awkwardly, feeling embarrassed. You subconsciously let your hand wander to your face, trying to hide a bit in your hand.
"Hm, Whats wrong, Mc?" Lucifer sighed, in a flirtatious tone. He reached out, guiding your head to face him with his index finger under your chin, with his thumb lightly placed on your chin.
He smiled, "Feeling embarrassed? That's hardly the most...sensitive subject for Demons." Now staring you down, with those gorgeous ruby eyes, there's no way you can look away.
He gripped your hand with his, guiding it to his frame once again "Lungs, spleen, liver,,," He continued to guide your hand down, with the corresponding areas of his organs, until, he could guide no longer, reaching his waistband.
"Mc," Lucifer edged closer, leaning in, cupping your face with his hands. "Kiss me."
Blush covered your face, stunned, you squeaked out, "Why?! I..I thought we were studying.." You said, reluctantly.
Lucifer laughed, "Mc, I want to be with you. Must I spell it out further? I want to have sex with you" He blurted out, shutting his eyes, blush creeping onto his cheeks.
"But..." you paused, looking away "I'm..uh, I'm a virgin!"
Before you could look back to see his reaction, Lucifer was on top of you, pressing his knee in between your legs. "Don't worry, I'll be gentle." he chuckled, kissing you softly while tugging at the buttons of your blouse.
Lucifer took his time, savoring the moment when the buttons came undone, revealing your gorgeous skin. He trailed his kisses down, nipping at your neck, down to your chest. He used one hand to gently roll one of your nipples around his pinchers, lightly squeezing and pulling them as he took the other into his mouth. He would circle his tongue around your nipple, ever so lightly grazing his teeth on them and nipping, earning a surprised gasp from you.
He pulled away, gliding his hands down your sides to the waistband of your bottoms, sliding them right off. Drifting his hands down your stomach and dipping his fingers into your underwear, Lucifer used his middle and ring fingers to slowly circle your clt.
pushing one finger into your wetness, curling it before pulling it almost out, then repeating the process until you were ready for another finger. two fingers, then three, then he figured you were ready, not for a fourth finger, but for him.
He pulled his fingers out, sitting up over you. he unbuttoned his pants, tucking his thumbs into his waistband, freeing his touch-starved cock, It twitched, begging to be pleased.
He slid his dick in between your folds, teasing you before putting it in, He pushed against your entrance until he met resistance. you rolled your head to the side, wincing a bit, feeling a tearing sensation.
As resistance snapped, Lucifer groaned, throwing his head back momentarily as he fully entered you. He sighed, "I want to see your reaction, look me in the eyes, Little lamb."
He slowly rocked his hips in and out, raking his hands towards your chest, squeezing your boobs, and rubbing your nipples with his thumb. He trusted deeper into you, causing you to gasp. He chuckled, His hand drifting from your chest to your clit again, using his thumb to rub circles while pounding you into next week.
"Oh, Lucifer!" you moaned without thought, but that only fueled him to vigorously fuck you harder.
He pulled out, flipping you on your stomach like you weighed less than air, he gripped your hips, bringing them into the air before pressing inside you again. "Mm~ you're so tight" Lucifer groaned, leaning into you, reaching deeper than he did before. He thrust in and out, slamming into your G-spot, every time he hit that sweet spot you saw stars.
At this point, you weren't aware of how much and how loud of noises you were making, being fucked numb, heat swelled in your loins, tickling you just the right way. You were so close to finishing, but couldn't quite get there
"Ah, Don't stop, Oh shit, Please don't stop!" You cried out, a panting, blubbering mess.
Lucifer only pushed himself deeper inside you, withdrawing his hand to spank you, slapping your ass then squeezing the area. You yelped when his hand hit your ass, looking back at him with pleading eyes. He smirked at you, proud of how easily he could make you crumble
"I'm so close," he sighed, the room filled with both of your moans and pants of pleasure "Mc, Mc!"
He slammed into you, your legs shaking as you were sent over the edge, feeling waves of pleasure crash into you, before being filled with hot liquid, bringing your orgasm to a peak. you grabbed desperately onto the couch, knuckles nearly turning white as you moaned out Lucifer's name.
After a moment, he pulled out of you, his cum spilling out as well. you both caught your breath for a minute before you sat up,
"Um, thanks for helping me study, Lucifer," you said, blushing, covering your body with your hands.
he laughed "Do you think I'm done with you? Not yet, stay in my room tonight, Mc." He looked at you with those seductive eyes "You're mine, remember?"
āāŗāā āāāāā±ą¼ļø ⢠ą¼ļøā°āāāā āāŗāā
"Whats that on your neck, Mc?!" Mammon asked, on the walk to school
"oh, um, its nothing, you know humans they're super fragile!" you laughed nervously, hoping he wouldn't realize it was a hickey from your 'study' session with Lucifer.
"Humans are so weak, nothing like The Great Mammon!" He boasted, quickly forgetting what just happened
"sure, humans are fragile!" Asmo laughed, knowing the truth behind the 'bruise' on your neck.
(side note: thank you for enjoying my stories enough to send an ask, sometimes I get writers block and its extremely helpful, I hope this wasn't too short. love ya, Reader, and Anon!)
TRUCKER!CREGAN BLURB!!
MASTERLIST
Imagine,
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan driving on a long empty road that stretches for miles without a single car insight when something catches his eye, a pretty little ass bursting out of some tight jean shorts as a body peeks out of the hood of a pulled over car.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan slowing down and eventually stopping at the side of the busted car. The body removes itself from the hood and turns, aware of the large shadow that came upon them, masking their skin from the sweltering sun.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who adjusts his worn jeans to hide his thick bulge before getting out of his truck after you agreed to let him help you.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who calls you darlin' as he messes about with your car (idk car stuff sorry guys š). He definitely doesn't miss the way your thighs squeeze together softly and your teeth catch your bottom lip.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who wipes his oil covered hands on his jeans before moving one to the small of your back as he brushes by you, not failing to press his bulge into your plump ass.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who, well, fucks you against the hood of your car when he got the chance, I mean, why wouldn't he want to see your ass rippling from his hard thrusts??
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who finally, actually fixes your car as you lay limp in the passenger seat, his cum oozing out of you.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who goes into his truck and grabs a pad and pen that he always keeps there and hurriedly jots down his number, oil smudging most of them. He stuffs it in the back pocket of your shorts, snapping the thin fabric of your thong before shutting the door and going back to his truck, driving off and just letting you collect yourself. What a gentleman, I know.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who lowkey forgets about you. He has long nights and early mornings and has to drive hours upon hours, and without a call or even as much as a text from you, you slipped his mind.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who completely forgot about you until he saw you in a dive bar almost two months later, and his only thought was 'bitch'.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who downs a few beers before walking over with a confident swagger to you. He greets you, cold but seemingly warm. Then he questions you, asks why you didn't call him, message him, anything. Was he that bad of a fuck to you?
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who quickly downs another beer after you giggle in his face, pulling out a piece of paper and showed him how most of the numbers where pretty much unreadable. Was that a six? Wait, no, an eight? Fuck, maybe it's a zero. To be honest, Cregan had a few too many to even remember his own number so he was just as confused as you.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who doesn't really apologise but you know he's sorry as he drags you to the gross toilets and sets your hips on the sink, shoving his head in between your thighs and diving (hehe see what I did there⦠yk⦠cus they're in a dive bar⦠ykw nvm š) straight in and lapping up all your sweet slick.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who has your juices dripping down his beard as he forces his lips onto yours as he ruts into you, basically ripping the sink off of the wall with the force.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who makes you repay him for eating you out earlier (yes, I'm sorry, in my head Trucker!Cregan is NOT a respectful dude š I mean, bro literally left you on the side of the road, what do you expect). In his eyes, eating pussy is a chore, even though he did get hard when he tasted you, but no! no! He was just horny! (That's what he tells himself (girl just admit you love to MUNCH)).
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who grips your hair in a ponytail as he guides you up and down his cock while he drives to his next stop. Fuck your car or whoever you came with, Cregan needs to fuck your throat and he needs to do it now.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who fucks your throat as he gets close, accidentally speeding up, the truck gaining momentum before having to swerve violently as he starts to merge into the neighbouring lane, nearly crashing into a car.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who cums abruptly down your throat from the adrenaline, accidentally keeping your head trapped there, gagging on his cock as thick hot seed spurts down your throat.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who finally pulls you off his cock, having you sputter and cough, his cum dripping down your chin.
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who basically just treats you as his own personal sex doll, seeing you nothing more than holes to fill whenever his balls get heavy. I mean, with the amount of times he's filled you, you're bound to get pregnant soonā¦
š»ā¢Trucker!Cregan who I might write about more with a pregnant!reader..š and maybe even more different reader ideas cusā¦š«£
Lemme know if ya'll want more!! I actually really enjoyed writing this but I do admit I was a bit lazy with it.. š
Please I BEG send asks and stuff about Trucker!Cregan or any other Cregan AU's I do, I wanna be y'all's fav AU Cregan writer.šš„²
I also feel like I've read something similar to the start of Trucker!Cregan fucking you on your car hood but I've searched everywhere and literally cannot find anything!! Also I only read on Tumblr so that's the only place it can be. If anyone finds the author, tag me in it or tell me their tag/the name of the fic so I can give creds here!!
(Also just realising I might have read a fic like this that wasn't Trucker!Cregan but a completely different characterā¦)š
Also, I'm working on a Cregan fic.. (I KNOW I KNOW DONT SCREAM AT ME I KNOW I HAVENT FINISHED MY THOUSANDS OF OTHER ONES BUT HEY, SUE ME!) and itās inspired by both Twilight and @aeralux 's Lucerys Velaryon fic 'I'd rather be with you' (girl youāve been inspiring me sm recently what) so if I ever finish writing it, maybe go give it a read?..š)
Notes: Anaxagoras drabble pre-release because I simply can't resist a blasphemous scholar. Steal this and you're getting every airborne pathogen I know. Tags: Anaxagoras x reader, implied friends to .... well, sfw, 800 words Minors DNI
The forces governing all phenomena must operate based on universal fact. An all-encompassing set of 'laws' when explained through our language. But how do we even begin to comprehend what we cannot perceive, and by what means do we discover the blind spots?
Anaxagoras had always been fascinated by that which he could not explain, a trait coveted by adults when you were both children. The pace with which his knowledge expanded had been nearly frightening, swallowing it up as though a vortex existed in his midst.
"Truth," he continued, one hand covering an eye as he peered into the starlit night, "is what we make of it, what each of us can perceive and prophecy the bridge between what we know and what we see."
A soft hum left your lips, merely signaling that your attention was still on him. The two of you had been friends for far longer than a decade, so used to the ideas spurred on by his now scorned curiosity that nothing he said could rattle you. Not even the idea of prophecies being lies.
"But there must be something, somewhere, that perceives all, possibly even orchestrating it."
Your hand left the cold rock that you were both resting atop, reaching towards the stars alongside his. Blots of ink and faint red lines from where paper had cut his skin stained the delicate hands that had wiped countless tears from your cheeks.
His monologue halted for a moment when your fingers laced with his, guiding his hand back down to place a kiss in his palm. The content sigh he let out made you smile, knowing you'd once more halted his detachment from the ground. If not for the fragility of the physical body, surely his spirit would've long since taken a seat among the stars.
"I propose the existence of a 'mind' governing and ordering everything. If all is made from the same base components, it must be given shape to create all that we see," his voice had softened to an almost melancholic tone, "I will not pretend to know the laws that govern all, but this must be part of the truth as I view it. I've termed it 'Nous', the cosmic mind ordering homogenous chaos into this-"
A white flower was placed in your hand, the rarity of the gesture translating to something foreboding as you completed his sentence, "orderly chaos, but chaos nonetheless."
Worse still was the feeling when he moved your hand to rest atop his heartbeat. "I'm almost led to believe you pay attention to my words." Even with the lightness of his words, nothing in their meaning lessened the weight settling on your soul.
Still, it would be cruel to let it show, instead responding in a way he knew, nudging his shoulder gently. "I always do."
Satisfied, Anaxagoras saw fit to continue, "This Nous, of course, implies the existence of not only life beyond what we know, but also of forces mightier than our Titans."
"Have you heard what they're calling you?"
He turned his head, bright eyes piercing both the darkness and your heart, "A fool? I-"
"Some of them take it further than that, calling you a blasphemer," truly, you had no desire to oppose the man beside you, the regret no doubt seeping into your words, "maybe exercising some restraint in public would do you good?"
It was unreasonable for him to cup your cheek at a time like this, your throat tightening in anticipation of the gentle press of lips against your own.
"Only those with something to hide are angered by questions," his words were almost lost to the ringing in your ears, "the truth I've suggested challenges the validity of their prophesies, should it not then be their honor to disprove me instead of lashing out like cornered beasts?"
You let him guide you closer by the back of your neck, foreheads touching when the words you'd been dreaded were spoken into existence. "I'm leaving."
"I know," your voice trembled far more than you would've liked, his attempts at gently rubbing your skin all but soothing this time. You'd always known this day would come, his bearing in itself enough to know that his path would be a lonely one.
"I'll present my ideas at the Grove of Epiphany, blind faith in the Chrysos Heirs and a prophecy alone cannot be the only way forward. I will force their eyes closed if I must to let them glimpse reality beyond what they see."
You inhaled his scent, fresh and crisp like a cold morning in the sun, determined to commit it to memory, so engrossed that you barely heard the whispered apology and a confession better lost to the breeze.
šš ACE YOUR EXAMS šš
This is a guide for people who have exams coming up. It consists of what to do if you want 100% on your upcoming exams, study tips, and more!
Study tips:
Check this masterlist by @merakinotes and also this post+ masterlist by @areistotle it has everything youāll ever need.
Bank of questions / past papers study method: you can create your own questions on Quizlet or any online quiz maker or use past papers/ revision resources.
Study everyday. If your exam is even a month away, thatās good because it means you donāt have to study hours everyday, but you can at least keep a goal to study 30 mins a day or to learn/ understand/ memorise a new thing part of that topic every day.
Feynman technique. Basically pretend as if youāre the teacher and teach the topic to someone/ something (ex a stuffed animal)
Record yourself talking. When youāre revising, record yourself talking about some of the stuff so you can listen to it later when youāre unable to study.
Visual learning!! Personally, I love this one. If youāre studying something like science, history, etc, then draw pictures! Draw pictures to better help you understand a word/ concept. (Example: in science I couldnāt remember the whole definition of combustion so I just drew a stickman image of the atom and the oxygen and then those 2 chemically combined)
During the exam:
Never turn the exam in early!! Are you finished? Then re read the exam and re take the exam. Double check, triple check etc your answers. Keep looking through your answers again and again, step by step. Only give the test in at the very end.
Watch the clock! Donāt spend lots of time on one question trying to figure it out. Look at the time and make sure you still have enough to complete all the questions and maybe also recheck them.
If you donāt completely understand a question/ itās more complicated: skip it and go to the next question. Come back to that harder question later.
Manifesting:
Remember: the 100/100 grade is already yours. You just need to claim it!
Affirmations: you can create your own set of customised affirmations or you can use THIS affirmation list that I made for high grades
Subliminal: Iāve made a playlist on YouTube with all my favourite academic subliminals. You can also search up 100/100 grades or full marks in tests subliminals.
More resources:
(These are just to further help you if these tips do not help. Remember that watching videos or reading about studying/ study tips is not studying. Itās procrastinating. Consume these in moderation.)
next chapter :)
.ć»ć.ć»ćāć».ć»ā«ć»ćć»ć. .ć»ć.ć»ćāć».ć»
the classroom was organised with a focused, minimalist setup, with rows of sturdy tables that filled most of the space, each paired with two hard-backed chairs that left barely enough room for you to move around without bumping into someone else's desk. you stared up at the whiteboard which took up much of the wall, its surface freshly wiped but faintly marked with smudges from the writing by your favourite teacher in the world āĀ kento nanamiĀ ā who had made you sit at the front for the sole purpose of doing a one-to-one session on the easier questions that you still somehow struggled with.
a projector hung from the ceiling above, casting crisp, blue-tinted notes and problem sets onto the board. his desk was positioned directly beside the whiteboard, immaculately organised, with a stack of ungraded worksheets, a coffee cup, and a single pen resting beside his computer. you thought satoru could use some tips on how to keep his work space as clean as kento's; you knew he wouldn't listen.
around the room, colourful display boards brightened up the neutral walls, each one crowded with pre-calc formulas, visual aids, and student projects ā some crumpled from years of use, others meticulously laminated. none of them were of use to you, not when you found yourself stuck on something as simple asĀ functions and transformations.
"try again," kento ā orĀ mr nanami,Ā as he constantly demanded you refer to him as ā patiently guided you, sliding a fresh worksheet with extra space for you to do your working out on. the previous one you'd been given had been a complete mess of scribbles, doodles, and working out that made no sense whatsoever.
you spun the pencil through your fingers in a dramatic manner, eyes squinted as you addressed the complicated questions on the sheet.
and gave up the second you saw the graphs.
"i'm failing this class," you decided with a sigh.
kento āĀ mr nanamiĀ ā shook his head at you, his lips in a straight line as he tapped the sheet.
"you haven't even given it a go," he stated sternly, his cheeks hollowing as he stared down at you. "remember what we went through."
"i already forgot," you admitted, abashed.
kento nanami's gaze was a perfect balance of sternness and patience as he looked down at you, his expression unwavering; his eyes were sharp, fixed intently on you with a hint of exasperation glinting beneath his otherwise calm exterior. it did not look as though he was going to let you give up that easily, no matter how deep your sighs of defeat ran. he tapped the sheet again, and despite it sounding like a couple knocks on the table, it really was a beat that spoke in strong tunes, one that saidĀ you're going to try again, whether you like it or not,
so you picked up your pencil, frowning at the size of the eraser attached to its rear end (knowing all too well that it was not going to be enough to keep your paper from becoming a mess of lead by the end of the lesson) and got to work, reading the question, and then re-reading it, trying your hardest to understand it down to a t.
kento had left you to tackle the problems alone as he moved across the room, pausing by other students' desks to offer guidance.
...and then returned to find that your paper was now full of doodles and scribbles. he furrowed his brows and let out a sigh, rubbing his straight brows from where they began, to where they angled downwards, the lines on his forehead more prominent as he tensed.
"i tried," you said, looking sullen.
"i can see that," he replied, and it wasn't just the mess of lead he was talking about; he could see the parts of the paper where youĀ hadĀ made an attempt at answering the question, only to give up and then fail miserably.
he leaned against his own desk, peering down at you through his circular glasses. they looked odd to you, specifically the way they stuck onto the skin around his eyes like that. it was almost as peculiar as that weird, spotted tie he always wore.
"how often do you study at home?" he asked you, and the tone of his voice, serious, made you suck in your stomach, an unsettling feeling resting in your tummy.
"every friday," you lied. it wasn't as though he'd know you didn't.
only, he somehow had.
"i know you and your family spend fridays at gojo's," he told you, his brows furrowed.
you paused.
thought of your answer.
and then reconsidered it just in case there were any loopholes he could find.
"yeah," you agreed, nodding, "but i study there too. before dinner."
"no she doesn't."
megumi had approached kento with his notebook and worksheet in hand, his handwriting neat, each letter and number placed with a precision that seemed almost methodical.
you scowled at him as he looked straight at your teacher, barely even regarding you with a simple glance, apparently unbothered by your reaction.
"can you grade my questions?" he asked, only looking down and meeting your gaze with a glare when you kicked him from where you sat.
"you're beingĀ rude,"Ā you snapped, watching him shake the foot you had kicked.
he looked down at his foot, then at you, then back at his foot, as kento took the notebook out of his hands. "you literally just kicked me," he stated with a deep lour.
"yeah, 'cause you interrupted me when i wasĀ talkingĀ to kento," you shot back, brows furrowed.
"you mean when you wereĀ lyingĀ to him," megumi corrected you, an accusatory brow raised.
your cheeks warmed as you averted your gaze, barely managing to suppress a scowl. you crossed your arms, focusing on the scribbled doodles and half-erased notes on your worksheet, ignoring megumi's pointed look as you tapped your pencil against the paper in a futile attempt to appear unaffected, but the stubborn heat on your face betrayed your feigned composure.
"check that last question," said kento, handing megumi his notebook back and pointing at something on his page with the end of his red pen. "otherwise, well done megumi."
megumi nodded, muttering a quiet thanks before sitting back in his seat that was somewhere behind you; you didn't bother checking where after his attitude.
"you," kento began, brows furrowed at you, "need a tutor."
you would have beamed at the idea, if not for already being in a particularly sour mood after megumi's comment. still, you vouched for yourself, even though it meant pushing aside your stubborn pride.
"megumi, he said you have to tutor me," you said, turning around to speak to him ā he had been sitting on a table with yuji on his left and nobara on his right. you found yourself seething with envy that you were so unbelievably terrible at math, your friends got to squish themselves on a table for two without you.
"i didn't say that," kento added dismissively. "i said youĀ neededĀ a tutor, not that it'd be megumi."
at that, the both of you peered back up at him, dumbfounded.
"i've done it before," your friend informed your teacher, his brows raised expectantly. "she takes forever, but ā"
you narrowed your eyes at him.Ā "was that really necessary?"
kento shook his head regardless.
you frowned, looking back at megumi, and you could have sworn you'd seen his shoulders deflate slightly too, but your teacher remained firm, regarding you with tight lips and furrowed brows.
"you get distracted very easily," he told you, his hands resting in the pockets of his formal pants. he nodded in the direction of where your friends were sitting without you. "specifically with megumi."
"megumi and i work very well together, actually," you corrected, unaware of yuji shaking his head in disagreement behind you. he'd stopped when you turned to see where kento's eyes had slowly drifted, suspicious. "even though he's really rude when he teaches me ā"
"ā i'm not rude ā"
"ā andĀ superĀ judgemental when i get something wrong," you continued over him; he was most likely glaring at the back of your head, you didn't need to see him to know that, "i still learn a lot."
"while that might be true, something always happens to go wrong when the two of you work together," said kento, and even though he was gentle with his approach on this topic, it still felt like a harsh kick to the stomach. "you aren't sensible."
"i'mĀ sensible," megumi openly disagreed.
you did not appreciate his obvious jab at you. "whaāĀ so am i!"
and to your dismay, yuji had intervened.Ā "no you're not!"Ā he jumped in, expression fierce as he pointed at you accusingly. "you told mr haibara my art work was made out of a toilet accident!"
"well itĀ lookedĀ like a toilet accident," you shot back, your face relaxed, eyes half-lidded.
"heĀ askedĀ for her opinion," said nobara ā your sweet nobara ā coming to your defence without a second thought. she leaned over megumi to speak to yuji directly. "what did you expect her to do, ignore him?"
"if she's capable of saying my art piece looks like a pile of shit smeared on some paper, she's capable of ignoring someone!"
it was kento's slight groan that had the four of you looking up at him, and when you did, you'd been met with the sight of him pinching the bridge of his nose, his glasses lifted by his fingers as he let out an exasperated sigh. kento did not enjoy it when the four of you would argue: he said it distracted the class despite your peers having discussions, jokes, and even arguments amongst themselves, unaware of the little spats you'd have with each other.
"enough,"Ā he voiced coolly, before regarding both you and megumi with a look of finality. "you have proven my exact point."
"i wasn't evenā" megumi began, but you cut through him straight away. it wasn't like he was going to vouch for anyone but himself anyway, the selfish bastard.
"we're not like this at home," you argued passionately, brows raised in a desperate attempt to get kento to consider your situation, even if it meant dealing with a very judgemental megumi, who was never gentle when teaching you.
it seemed that your statement had only strengthened kento's decision to assign you a tutor who wasn't megumi, for his brows had drawn into a firm line, his gaze much harsher as he stared you with what seemed like a mix of finality and resolve.
"i saw the two of you at gojo's birthday last year," he'd said calmly. "the piñata was meant for him, not you."
ah.
kento was talking about the incident where you hadĀ 'hijacked'Ā (as satoru had eloquently put it) his birthday piƱata. you scoffed ā he lived to tell the tale, with that goofy look on his face that was apparently meant to make you sympathise with him, but lived nonetheless.
it wasn't as though anybody was harmed in the process.
kento adjusted his glasses and regarded you with narrowed eyes. "it was also meant to be beaten open with aĀ weapon,Ā y/n.Ā notĀ megumi's head."
"arguably, his crazy hair is a danger to us all, and therefore a weapon of mass destruction," you stated, and found yourself internally pleased when you heard both yuji's and nobara's quiet snickering. "the piƱata would agree."
you heard yuji and nobara's chuckles sputter into startled groans, abruptly cut off by a telltaleĀ thunkĀ that had megumi written all over it. you couldn't help a sly chuckle as you glanced their way, where the pair nursed their sore heads with matching looks of betrayal, nobara muttering something that sounded a lot like a threat on megumi's life.
he, of course, remained unfazed, still glaring at you, looking about as done as kento had seemed, and sensing his icy gaze narrow further, you quickly schooled your face into a mask of innocent defiance.
"i'm not tutoring you," megumi replied bluntly, and you barely had the time to process that and groan before kento had intervened again.
"that settles it," he said, no longer leaning on his desk and now holding a finger up in a silent motion ofĀ 'no more'Ā when your lips had parted to speak. "i will search for someone who i think will be best to tutor you ā"
"but megumi ā"
"ā and isĀ willingĀ to do so too," he said, before picking up a folder, searching through it, and handing you a new worksheet with a different set of questions. "have a go at these before i come back, y/n."
he had left to go and approach other students, moving briskly towards those with raised hands, leaving you with only the fresh worksheet in your own hand, and a sigh caught somewhere between your frustration and reluctant determination.
you only hoped your tutor would be someone you could get along with.
.ć»ć.ć»ćāć».ć»ā«ć»ćć»ć. .ć»ć.ć»ćāć».ć»
yuji and megumi walked side by side down the bustling hallway, their steps quick as they wove through clusters of students lingering between classes.
yuji had animatedly recounted an outrageous tale about how choso and todo had finally met, and how it had gone terribly wrong in only a matter of seconds. megumi was silent throughout the story, his mind wandering elsewhere, but he still managed to pay attention and had got the general gist of the story. in fact, megumi was certain that he could summarise it all in one simple sentence, something that yuji had failed to do: yuji'sĀ brothersĀ did not like each other and were essentially fighting over him.
yuji squinted his eyes as sunlight streamed in from the tall windows, casting warm beams across their path as they neared the business classroom. megumi raised his arm to shield himself, blinking off the colourful spots in his vision.
"when did all that happen?" he asked, a crease between his brows from the frown he'd been holding up.
"after practice last week tuesday," said yuji, casually, "when i tried catching the early bus, remember?"
"i thought youĀ gotĀ the early bus," megumi replied, the two of them taking a right where they'd find their classroom. they'd been stalling for a bit, walking round in circles in different areas of the school, but it was nearly time before the bell rang.
yuji nodded. "i did, but todo insisted on dropping me off. i said no, but ā you know him, he doesn't take no for an answer."
megumi knew that quite well. when he first met todo and he'd demanded megumi to tell him his type, no matter how many times he'd refused to, todo remained persistent.
it was annoying.
"and then they met ā and then everything was just ā"
when the pink-haired boy had stopped speaking so abruptly, megumi glanced over at him.
yuji's gaze drifted into the distance, his eyes widening slightly as he seemed to lose track of his story mid-sentence. megumi furrowed his brows at him, watching his mouth hang open for a beat, the usual spark in his expression dimming as he focused intently on something across the hall. slightly confused, megumi turned to follow yuji's line of sight, the silence between them suddenly weighted, and megumi could only lour at what he'd seen.
"hey," yuji began, voice distant, "isn't that tsumiki?"
across the hallway, kamo stood beside tsumiki, his posture formal yet oddly relaxed, hands resting in his pockets with a quiet attentiveness. tsumiki, in turn, seemed engaged, her expression open and bright, using light hand gestures and motions that she usually did when explaining something.
megumi had seen the same thing in different areas of the school: during study hall, he'd seen tsumiki wave kamo goodbye, just before lunch had ended, he'd seen kamo walking her to her english class, and for the nth time that day, he was watching them interact, watching as tsumiki listened attentively, nodding along with something he was saying.
what the hell was going on? since when did kamo and tsumiki talking to each other become so frequent? was that ever a thing to begin with? megumi couldn't comprehend any of what he was seeing.
but he couldn't blame himself for his lack of understanding here, for everything that had happened in the past week regarding kamo had been odd, especially since that conversation his teammates had had in the locker rooms before practice.
and with a more relaxed, loose expression, megumi realised what that meant; how had this not been the first thought in his mind?
tsumiki was someone that both megumi and yuji knewĀ pretty well.Ā he'd completely ruled out the possibility that kamo would find interest in someone older despite majority of his teammates doing exactly that ā they liked older girls.
he just did not believe that any one of them would be interested in hisĀ sister.
"yeah," megumi nodded, biting his inner cheek to avoid the natural scowl that he knew was trying to make an appearance. "it is."
"why's she talking to ā"
"i don't know," said megumi, now wanting more than ever to enter class early, if only to get rid of the disgusting sight before him. he wished he could also say that he did not care, but he was curious, and he wanted to know what was actually happening between them. "let's go."
"oh, she saw us!" said yuji, raising a hand to wave. "she's saying hi!"
megumi didn't look to see whether this was true or not, but he didn't doubt it, only choosing to ignore his sister entirely and go to his class, half annoyed when he realised that kamo would follow behind him soon since they shared the same one.
"megumi, she's ā she's saying hi ā" yuji repeated, sounding taken aback by megumi and his cold response of ignoring her entirely.
megumi stepped into the classroom, his expression tight and shoulders tense as he made his way towards his usual seat at the back. the lively hum of conversation around him felt distant, each sound fading as he focused on shaking off the odd irritation from the hallway, and not even a moment later, yuji had trailed behind him, loudly questioning why megumi was ignoring tsumiki, his voice ringing through the quiet room. his obliviousness hung in the air, adding to megumi's quiet frustration as he sank into his seat, mentally urging his friend to just sit down and stop broadcasting his every thought.
to his dismay, yuji did not stop, not even when kamo had entered the room, walking over to his seat parallel to the two.
the rest of the class went by as usual, the only difference being the constant voice at the back of megumi's mind ā nagging and pressing ā reminding him of what he'd seen throughout the week.
.ć»ć.ć»ćāć».ć»ā«ć»ćć»ć. .ć»ć.ć»ćāć».ć»
megumi stood just outside the theatre hall, his figure casting a long shadow on the tile floor as the late afternoon light filtered in through the high windows. the hallway was quiet now, only the faint sound of distant chatter echoing from a classroom down the hall, while the smell of fresh paint and worn wood from the theatre room seeped faintly into the corridor.
dressed in his football uniform, his hair still damp from practice, he idly scanned the posters pinned on the corkboard outside the door: upcoming plays, rehearsals, and auditions for the semester. there was even a picture of you from one of the plays back in sophomore year,Ā a huge success,Ā according to the school newsletter attached to it. he remembered that one, a re-telling ofĀ rosalindĀ and how even through the mess your family had caused behind the scenes, you had remained professional enough to take your role as the lead and make something better of it ā it was admirable, not that he'd ever tell you that.
he crossed his arms, leaning back against the wall, his eyes occasionally drifting to the door as he waited, his gaze relaxed. when he heard footsteps at the other end of the corridor, light and unhurried, he turned his head, brow twitching slightly as tsumiki closed the large distance between them, a gentle smile tugging at her lips, holding a file to her chest as he swiped the damp strands of his hair away from his forehead.
she stopped just short of him, glancing down at his feet. he followed her gaze, frowning when she didn't speak.
"what?"Ā he said, defensive.
she pointed at his socks, stained with grass. "you're gonna walk in your house withĀ those?"
megumi shot her a look, half grimacing, half glaring. "no," he snapped, snippy. "i'm gonna take them off at the front door."
she shrugged, holding her pink folder to her chest as she leaned against the same wall he had been leaning against.
"i knew i'd find you here," she said, the fluorescent lights above softening her already-gentle features, casting a warm glow that blended with the late afternoon sunlight filtering through the nearby windows.
megumi grunted in response. it was enough to show that he acknowledged her comment. she understood that well enough.
"what do you need?" he asked her, flinching when a random cymbal crash had sounded from inside the hall. he could bet his two dogs it was because of you. "i'm not doing your stats homework again."
"no, silly," she laughed, nudging his side and relishing in the slight hiss he'd let out ā yuji had tackled him hard on the field during practice, driving his weight into megumi's side and slamming him mercilessly against the grass. the impact bit deeper than he'd expected, the sharp sting lingering even an hour later. "i was gonna ask you a question."
"ok."
...
"you're not gonna ask me what it is?"
"you'reĀ the one that needs to ask the question here."
"stop acting like aunt maude, megumi," scolded tsumiki, making an attempt to pinch his side. he slapped her hand away, cross and displeased with her playful nature. "anyway," she sighed, apparently having given up on trying to tease him any further than he'd let her, "don't get mad at me when i ask this."
he looked down at her, a feeling that still felt strange. only this past summer had he finally outgrown her, and after spending most of his life looking up to meet her gaze, he still wasn't quite used to the new perspective.
he didn't like the look she was sporting. it was something in between a sensible smile and a mischievous grin.
"don't say anything to make me mad," he shot back, brows furrowed.
tsumiki held her file closer to her chest, like a mother protectively cradling her baby.
"let me say a quick prayer before i ask," she said, meeting his sharp gaze with a small frown. "what? i don't wanna get attacked when i ask."
he scowled. "i'm not gonna attaā"
but she wasn't paying attention, her eyes closed as she cupped her hands and whispered her prayers into it. megumi could have sworn he heard her mutter something along the lines ofĀ 'protect me from the evil standing right next to me'.Ā if he hadn't been taught that disrupting a prayer was a form of evil, he would have hit her twice on the head by now, but the last thing he needed to do was prove a point.
once she'd blown into her chest, she faced the wall opposite them with a smile, letting out a small breath.
"that was stupid," he muttered, unimpressed.
"didn't ask," she hummed, before clearing her throat. "are you interested in anyone?"
he was wrong ā perhaps sheĀ didĀ need that prayer after all.
megumi peered down at her, a brow raised, judging.
his usual sharp composure faltered for a moment as he processed her question. a frown twitched at the edge of his mouth, and his eyes narrowed slightly, as if trying to decipher the motive behind her sudden curiosity. this wasn't like her usual teasing ā it had an edge of genuine interest that unsettled him in a way he couldn't quite place.
"what the hell?" he demanded, visibly disgusted and audibly confused.
"you're making this bigger than it needs to be," she huffed, bringing a hand up to tuck a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. "it's just as simple as any other question."
"except you've never asked me that before," he retorted, glowering as she shrugged, her eyes tracing the display board, the one with your image on it.
her expression shifted to a thoughtful calm, taking in each photo and flyer pinned neatly on the cork surface, her fingers tapping lightly against the folder she held, a small, almost imperceptible smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.
megumi didn't understand what was so amusing about her question.
it was confusing; it made no sense.
"so?" she prompted, nudging his side for the second time that day; he shrugged her off, annoyed. "is there any girl you like? any girl youĀ thinkĀ you like?"
"what's it to you?" he interrogated, placing his helmet over his head to block her out of his peripheral vision. maybe if she wasn't being so annoying, he wouldn't have to do that.
she didn't hesitate when she answered him.
"i'm asking because of an event," said tsumiki, and as she spoke, the sound of shuffling had penetrated megumi's thick helmet, entering his ears, prompting him to turn and glance down at her to see what she was doing. from the lines on his helmet, he could see her shuffling through pages in her folder, before eventually pulling out a purple flyer and offering it to him. sceptically and suspiciously, he took it. "'cause i'm organising it, i get vip tickets for friends and family. i wanted to give you one, and if you have anyone in mind, give her one too. but you're being so secretive."
"i'm not being secretive," said megumi, barely reading the flyer's contents. he was sure he wasn't going to go anyway, he never usually did anyway. he handed it back to her, waving it when she wouldn't take it. "i just don't have anyone."
she sniffed, pushing the flyer back towards him. "could've just said that."
"you were being suspicious," he sneered, eyes narrowed as tsumiki shook her head at him, disagreeing. he clicked his tongue, disapproving. "i don't even go to any of the school stuff anyway."
tsumiki raised a brow at him, visibly sceptical.
"what about homecoming?" she suggested, and megumi was thrown back in time to when he'd been struggling to avoid satoru and his 'bonding time' (which was essentially just picking out expensive suits together). "winter formal? spring fling? the spring formal last year?"
he remembered all of those quite well. still, he remained stagnant.
"i only went to those 'cause y/n dragged me to them."
tsumiki reached up and knocked on his helmet. he scowled and harshly moved her hand away, failing once, twice, three times before she finally stopped.
"did y/n hold a gun to your head?" she asked him, watching as he slowly took his helmet off and shook his hair out of his eyes. he was in need of a haircut soon, he thought to himself, reminded of his mom who politely nagged at him every day about it.
"mentally, she did," he commented quietly. he locked gazes with tsumiki and looked away not even a second later. "does."
a flicker of thought crossed megumi's mind. he recalled the multiple times he'd caught glimpses of tsumiki with kamo throughout the day ā small moments, brief exchanges, but enough to catch his attention. she'd been smiling, animated even, in a way that felt unusual.
he acted on this prickle of curiosity, brows furrowed.
"areĀ youĀ taking anyone?" he questioned, looking down at the flyer to clarify. "to the... choir?"
tsumiki shook her head, a look of mild frustration pained over her face. "ever since satoru and your dad scared derek off last year, i... i stopped looking."
megumi raised a brow at her, very clearly critical of her hesitant response. "you stopped looking or they stopped approaching you?"
tsumiki's usual warmth seemed dimmed, her kind expression weighed down with a mix of weariness and irritation, brows knitted slightly with a faint line of frustration formed between them as her gaze shifted to the side, avoiding megumi's probing look.
"they stopped approaching me," she admitted with a sigh, but she was smiling, so megumi assumed it wasn't a massive bother.
not when she seemed to be hitting it off with kamo, apparently...
"so why do you keep talking to kamo?" he asked, straightforward and blunt. there was, in his view, no point beating around the bush or sugarcoating it. it would take too long for her to explain and equally longer for him to just get to the point. he did not have the time nor the patience for that.
there was a gentleness in her face, but it looked stretched thin, as if the weight of the question had caught up, stunning her momentarily. her lips parted briefly, like she wanted to explain, but ultimately came to the decision where in the end, she would not.
"wouldn't you like to know?" she settled on saying, her lip curled.
it irritated megumi.
"i don't," he lied, his voice distant and quiet.
"kamo's a nice guy," said tsumiki, as though trying to feed him this information little by little, like a child being monitored with how much candy they consume. "aĀ reallyĀ nice guy, actually."
megumi did not particularly agree with this, but he was not going to communicate that with tsumiki, not when she seemed so starstruck by him. megumi didn't even think she felt this strongly about derek carter from the basketball team; it rubbed him the wrong way, knowing that he might have to see one of his football teammates ā other than yuji ā turn up to dinner at satoru's every once in a while on fridays.
even so, he didn't necessarily believe kamo to be aĀ badĀ guy.
he was decent: megumi respected his ability to never indulge in gossip as well as the company he always chose to keep ā except for todo, that was something he silently critiqued.
but kamo and tsumiki...?
odd pairing,Ā he thought to himself.
"he can hold a conversation better than i thought he could," tsumiki added thoughtfully, slightly nodding to herself as she spoke. "and... he's considerate."
megumi averted his gaze back to the display board, now uninterested.
"will i be seeing him around more?" he asked her without actually looking at her properly. he wasn't in support of this odd pairing, but if tsumiki genuinely liked noritoshi kamo, he wasn't going to actively try and prevent them from happening.
that did not, however, mean he couldn't silently judge them in his head.
and perhapsĀ verballyĀ with nobara, too, since she did feel quite strongly about his teammateĀ ("he acts like he doesn't care about anything, with that 'i don't care' attitude, but look at his face! he's trying too hard, so he definitely does!").
"possibly," said tsumiki, smiling gracefully.
as the muffled sound of voices grew louder, both tsumiki and megumi instinctively turned their heads towards the theatre hall doors, where a steady flow of students began spilling into the corridor. the doors swung open, and megumi's gaze sharpened as he and tsumiki lightly searched the crowd, his eyes moving over familiar faces until they landed on you, standing and walking amidst your classmates.
you approached the two with a smile.
"ooh, tsumiki, you walking home with us?" you asked brightly, adjusting the strap of your bag as you shoved your papers inside. judging from the format of the text, megumi assumed it was a script for another play.
"mamaguro invited me over for dinner," she explained casually, "but she said absence isn't an option, so..."
"ugh, i'm jealous," you frowned, gesturing to your bag to clarify what you meant. "i want to come over too but i have a script to memorise by next week,Ā andĀ i need help with the pre-calc homework kento gave us today."
tsumiki's eyes darted between you and megumi, her lips pursed as though she had been missing something significant.
"megumi's... not able to help you with that?" she asked, her voice an octave higher with apparent confusion.
you raised your brows. "no, he can."
megumi aided you. "i just won't."
tsumiki's head tilted ever so slightly, and a faint crease appeared on her forehead, the kind she only got when she was trying to piece together a particularly baffling puzzle. her lips then parted as if to ask something, but she hesitated, scanning megumi's indifferent expression and your casual one with a slow shake of her head.
"i'm not gonna ask," she settled on saying, before you noticed the flyer in megumi's hand.
leaning in closer, you scanned the leaflet's front, eyebrows lifting in genuine surprise. the fact that megumi of all people was holding onto one left you momentarily speechless, lips parted as you took in the big, bold text, still a little stunned.
"what's that?" you asked, barely waiting for an answer before reading it aloud.Ā "'choir day: join us and learn the trombone'Ā ... you're actually going to that?"
"no,"Ā hestated, looking down and shaking the flyer at tsumiki as though he'd forgotten that he had been holding it. "i'd even pick your stupid plays over some choir show here."
you nudged him with your foot, not hard enough to hurt him, but enough to remind him of who he was speaking to.
"they're notĀ stupid,Ā they'reĀ fun,"Ā you corrected him with a scowl, pleased when he stepped away from you and threw you a light, warning glare.
tsumiki clicked her fingers at him, making him turn his head and his attention over to her, attentive, like a dog.
"and you'reĀ sureĀ you're not taking anyone?" she'd said, brows raised as she opened her folder and tapped at a sheet of paper in it.
you perked up, nonplussed. "you're taking someone?"
"no,"Ā he snapped, turning to tsumiki again with a glare. the three of you had started walking out of the hallway now, making your way to the exit. "iĀ toldĀ you, i'm not into any girls."
tsumiki, placed in between the two of you, nodded thoughtfully. "ah, so you swing the other way?"
without hesitation, megumi gave her a firm shove, sending her stumbling sidewards ā right into you.
"don't beĀ stupid,"Ā he'd said over your loud protests, planting his feet firmly onto the ground as tsumiki stood behind him, regaining her balance.
"no, tsumiki, he likes princess jasmine," you told her over his shoulder, watching her enthusiastically nod in agreement.
"i don't ā"
"that's why little you's cheeks turned red when her outer robe fell off ā" you teased as you walked right up to him, prepared to attack because of his careless shove against tsumiki.Ā
but he was one step ahead of you.
just as you moved to strike, he planted the helmet on your head and delivered a solid smack to its top. the sound reverberated around you, ringing in your ears, while a dull ache radiated from the point of impact.
your brain had too much fog to focus on what he was now doing to tsumiki. all you could see, through several hard blinks and the stupid face mask lines, was megumi's back, which meant that he was now towering over tsumiki and launching a range of attacks.
you had an idea:
bending over, his helmet now in line with his behind, you charged forward like an angry bull, your head colliding with his back (a stiff one, you had to mention) repeatedly.
"what theā"Ā you heard him grunt.
you couldn't see it, but he was looking down at you from over his shoulder, confused and inwardly concerned with your choice of attack.
it did hurt though, so he'd have to put a stop to it anyway, and that would've been easy to do if tsumiki wasn't now tugging on his hair and stomping on his foot.
from the far end of the hallway, a teacher spotted the scuffle and rushed forward, his expression quickly shifting from irritation to outright disbelief. apparently, he'd first assumed it was a classic tussle between a group of rowdy boys; the vigorous shoving, stomping, and grunts gave that impression from a distance, but as he got closer, he had blinked in surprise, recognising that the three of you involved were a pair of girls and only one boy.
"right, just... walk home safely, you three," he'd said, eyeing megumi's creased jersey and dishevelled hair with a grimace. when his eyes darted to you, the helmet still on your head, he nodded. "bye... y/n."
"no i'm megumi, can't you tell ā"
"let's go,"Ā megumi grumbled, gripping onto your elbow and tugging you forward with a little more force than necessary.
you shoved him off and walked beside tsumiki again.
the rest of the journey home was filled with collective bullying, laughter, and a disgruntled megumi who vowed to keep you and tsumiki away from each other at all costs. you were rubbing off on her and he didn't like it.
bonus scene:
toji shoved satoru off of him once the door had been kicked shut behind him, his chest puffed out in an attempt to appear more intimidating, but he knew the childish man wouldn't flinch even if he bit at him.
"you touch me again and you're gonna end up in a hospital bed you white haired ā"
"shut up,"Ā satoru groaned, his words drawn out in apparent exhaustion.
toji did not like this demand, parting his lips to say something ā no doubt some sort of threat ā but satoru had been quicker: for the first time since toji's known him, he was jumping straight to the point.
"look, i don't like you, and you don't like me ā"
"incorrect," said toji, arms folded over his chest, though his fists were still clenched where they rested on each side of his waist.
satoru grimaced.
that look āĀ staring back at him with one side of his upper lip lifted, his brows raised and contorted, his nose scrunched. toji wanted nothing more than to punch it right off, a clean swipe.
however, it seemed that he didn't have to, for his face had shifted into one he recognised even better...
the cocky one.
he hated that one even more.
"see, i'm flattered, fushiguro," he began, grinning as toji's nails cut right into each of his palms, leaving half moon crescent marks behind, "really, i am, but i have a wife ā"
toji's nostrils flared dangerously.
"shut-the-fuck-up-before-i-shove-my-fist-in-your-fucking-mouth-you-cocky-fucking-bastard ā"
satoru raised his hands in mock surrender.
"woah there buddy ā"
"you got itĀ fuckingĀ twisted," snapped toji, stepping up to the other male with a menacing glare. "i hate your guts. i wouldn't spit on you if you were on fire ā and even now, i wanna squash you where you stand, like a bug. consider yourself lucky my wife likes you ā"
"iĀ am not the enemy here!" satoru interrupted him loudly.
without breaking eye contact with the enraged, bulky man before him, he pointed at the door behind him where laughter and chatter sounded from members of the gathering.
"we have a common enemy out there. and just this once...Ā aside from the time the serial-hump-er was out for us men...Ā i offer a truce to get rid of the brat."
derek carter was, by all outward appearances, exactly the kind of guy most people would be thrilled to see with someone like tsumiki. he was relentlessly polite, with a clean-cut look and a warm, ready smile that seemed designed to put parents at ease. always prepared, he carried her books without needing to be asked, laughed at all the right moments, and brought flowers to meet the family ā not that toji or satoru could find anything wrong with him,Ā on paper.
and maybe that was the problem.
he was tooĀ perfect.
perfectly timed smiles, perfect grades, perfect compliments... to toji and satoru, he seemed like he was performing rather than being genuine, and that subtle insincerity ā whether real or perceived ā set them both on edge. neither of them bought it, and both of them, despite their very obvious differences, couldn't shake the feeling that he wasn't quite what he appeared to be.
toji's defensive posture shifted, shoulders loosening as satoru's offer had started to sink in. his glare had softened, the tension in his clenched fists releasing as he glanced from satoru to the closed door behind him, where derek's too-perfect laughter rang out.
for a moment, toji just scowled at the ground, processing, and satoru had assumed he had lost the deal, that they would not be able to collectively get rid of the perfect brat of a date that tsumiki had brought out. but then, toji looked up again, and gave him a quick, almost reluctant nod.
satoru gave him a toothy grin, which was not returned.
"what did you have in mind?" toji began, his voice gruff with obvious reluctance.
"hate to say it, but i'm gonna have to be the brains behind this," said satoru, sounding all too pleased with himself.
if toji hadn't been so pissed with the sight of thatĀ carterĀ kid, he might have actually spent time being suspicious with the white-haired freak. what if he was setting him up again? it certainly wouldn't have been the first time...
"believe me, i'd love to be in on the action too," he continued, still smiling that dopy smile, "but i'm aĀ teacherĀ at the high school. got a rep to keep up. and... i could lose my job, obviously..." he glanced at toji with a small, cheeky grin. "you wouldn't be able to relate ā"
"ā get to the fucking point ā"
"ā all right."
the plan had been made, enacted, and even altered slightly during it.
the chaos that followed was a carefully orchestrated disaster. satoru's brilliant plan had required toji to bring back a bothersome personality trait he had put at rest from meeting his wife onwards, turning an already uncomfortable event into a whirlwind.
plates clattered, chairs tipped, and the silverware clinked at the most inopportune moments, all while derek had tried to keep his composure, only to grow more visibly unnerved as the night went on. between satoru's subtle, deadpan remarks that derek barely caught, and toji's unexpected, pointed comments that cut through any remaining calm, derek found himself squirming, second-guessing every word. and when toji made a point ofĀ 'accidentally'Ā standing too close, arms crossed, looming like a silent bouncer, that had been the final straw.
tsumiki's date excused himself with a pale face, disappearing through the door as fast as he could without actually running.
in turn, tsumiki had not spoken to either of them again for a whole, entire week.
at least the brat was gone without any legal reinforcements.
(needles, dubc0n, body modification)
After going a little too wild at a party last night, you found yourself in quite a bit of debt. Eager to lift up some of that, you signed up for what promised to be a clinical study of the effects of....hexalophin? Something like that, you didn't exactly look at the sign too closely, instead just focusing on the $10,000 payment offered on completion.
When you enter the building it mentioned on the paper, it looked oddly barren, a sleek white lab setting with machines you barely understood scattered around. Eventually, you see me, the scientist who's name you'd seen put as the lead project runner. When we make eye contact, I seem to light up, running towards you after putting down a beaker, my hands quickly grab yours as I almost immediately start pulling you along.
"come come! There's much work to be done!" I say in...what could only be described as a sinister voice, already putting you on edge before you enter the room I'm guiding you to. In the room, there's simply a normal chair in the middle, and a cabinet to the side, no sophisticated machinery or equipment to be found. Sitting down in the chair, you get ready to ask a question about the procedure before suddenly cuffs pop out and hold down your wrists and ankles, keeping you stuck in the seat.
Starting to panic, you ask me what I'm doing, giggle leaving my lips as I go over to you "oh nothing really, those cuffs are for your safety! I've been told the chemical can really make you... squirm~ and we wouldn't want you knocking over anything dangerous now would we!" Once I finished speaking, I moved over to the cabinet, pulling out what looked to be a syringe.
Inside the syringe, you see a pink fluid, strangely seeming to almost glow as I move it closer to you. Just before you think I'm about to inject it, you see me pause and look calmly at you "do I have permission to inject this? I have a tough idea of what it will do but this test specifically requires not being aware, is that okay?" At first, you're about to say no, but when you remember the money being offered, you give a hesitant nod, watching as the needle slowly slides into your skin~
You watch as it's injected into you, the pink liquid sliding effortlessly into your blood, not even a sting being felt as it enters. Then, as easy as it came in, it's pulled out, a wide smile on my face as I look at you. At first you get ready to say nothing happened, but after just around a minute you feel your chest starting to heat up, and was your shirt always so tight?
With your clothes feeling tighter, you decide there's no choice but to throw them off, not realizing how your chest jiggles and sways around when you do so, even as your pants are pulled down, you fail to notice your ass wobble as well. In fact, everything seems perfectly fine, I mean, of course you had milkers like those, and of course you had a fat ass, that's normal.
As you realize how nothing happened, you let out a loud giggle as I stare at you with a smile, seemingly noticing something you're not. But as you get ready to ask if something's different, a ping of energy shoots through you, reminding you that good bimbos don't argue~ and it makes soooo much sense that you don't even try to speak again, instead just leaving with a happy smile on your face, knowing that you were a good bimbo today~
part one, welcome to camp daylighted.
YOUR CAR IS PACKED FULL OF A SUMMER'S WORTH OF BELONGINGS.
it speeds down the dusty backroads into the middle of the woods, faded signs indicating that you were heading in the right direction. every few miles, the woods gave way to open plains painted in the deep gold of a setting sun, the occasional flicker-and-glow of lightning bugs like glitter sprinkled over your surroundings.
it's peaceful. you can do this for a summer, you think. disconnected from society to connect with nature and peers your age while being a guiding eye to a group of kids relying on you? yeah, it was definitely something that you could do.
the radio filters through the speakers in your car, a faint soundtrack to the last winding paths of dirt roads, and you talk yourself through, in your head, of what you're getting yourself into. a checklist, to make sure you've gotten every bit of your job's requirements and guidelines down pat.
a) make friends! interacting with your peers and befriending them is a great way to make your summer-long job more bearable.
b) get to know them! have a question about someone's likes or behaviorisms? ask them! you wouldn't want to be misrepresented, even by accident, would you? plus, talking to others about themselves and yourself is a great way to make friends, too!
c) 1k word minimum! when it's your turn at the helm, you have full control¹ over what happens in the plot, and amongst the characters. this is not going to be a shortform task because of this. take advantage of the playing field, and make things happen! ⤷ full control = go crazy! you have complete creative freedom. use this however you please.
d) open up the floor! at the end of your contribution to the storyline, don't forget to put a vote at the end. here at camp, we operate on a democracy. everyone gets a say in the big stuff that happens!
easy peasy. this job was going to be nothing but fun and made memories; exactly why you'd signed up for it.
you pull your car into the parking lot, the faded paint lines in the gravelly rock about halfway full with other cars. it seemed that you'd pulled up at just the right time, not too early or too late.
for now, you leave your belongings in the car, wanting to get a good feel of the place that you'd call home and clock in for every morning for the next few months. a large log-cabin lodge greets you, the front doors slightly cracked and creaking evidently in the slight summer night wind. behind its rustic walls, you can see the beginnings of a half-circle of smaller log-cabins, smoke flickering from the center of the shape made with the camp's landscape.
the other counselors must have started a bonfire. in an attempt to familiarize you all, the director had instructed all of you to arrive a few days early to both help with camp preparations and to get to know each other. it seemed that they were taking advantage of the director's early shuteye in the name of getting to know each other.
still, you leave your things in the car, and don't yet follow the rock trail from the wooden-gated entrance to the bonfire. instead, you step up to the lodge's front doors, eyes catching on the yellow fluttering paper taped to the right of the doors.
COUNSELORS & TEAM ASSIGNMENTS / roommate assignments & counselor cabin keys behind front desk! one per team!
right. you'd need this information, and maybe the order of them, too . . . better store it away in the back of your mind, for safe-keeping. first, you'd figure out what team you were, and then head inside to see if anyone had taken the key for your team yet or not, and your roommate.
putting it in the back of your mind, you push open the doors to the lodge, the faint glow of the scattered lanterns on top of the setting sun making for a warm, peaceful ambiance.
there, in the center of the room, is a large wooden desk. beneath the heavy base of a lamp was another sheet of yellow paper, the words 'roommate assignments' in thick letters at the top.
you step up to it, your eyes scanning over it for your own name, and who your roommate would be.
you nearly miss it. the wind flutters through one of the open windows, carrying the smell of campfire smoke and hushed laughter through its little gap. the curtains billow in the breeze. and, in front of you, the papers flutter.
papers, because one was hidden away beneath the roommate assignments, was your role assignments.
report to head counselors first before going to the camp director!
there's a sticky note taped to the landline phone on the other side of the desk. the camp director must really like leaving notes, you realize quickly. did she trust you lot of campers enough to leave you all for the few days before camp's opening with nothing but instructed notes, or did she trust you all so little that she had to leave these little reminders and infosheets for your finding?
you probably wouldn't find out that night. the interior of the building is lit up only by the moonlight and flickering bonfire outside. the entirety of the staircase and where it leads up is dark, as if you're the only living being in the place.
you pluck the sticky note off of the phone receiver and hold it in the light to read it.
this phone has limited minutes! ask before using, unless it is a life or death emergency.
right. you'd heard this rant from your parents a million times about phone minutes and limitations. it was nothing new to you. maybe someday past this grueling 1989 summer, they'd make phones a little more easy access and user friendly than this.
with all of your new roles and information memorized, you turn around to look back at the front doors. your things are still packed away in your trunk, waiting for you to retrieve them and unpack properly in your room for the summer. behind you in the center of the camp are your summer coworkers, the muffle of their voices drifting again through the open window.
you can either go get your things and settle in for the night and meet your coworkers in the morning, or join the bonfire.
the choice is yours, lyra.
A/n: Not a one-shot but crack hcs! Hope you enjoy. I don't often write crack stuff but it is really fun when I get to it :)
Content: Dr. Ratio x Reader, can be read as platonic or romantic, no pronouns used, just crack overall, short and sweet
-While Ratio can have lots of patience for people of all walks of life, he has found a challenge within you and your form of intellect.. It would be arguably the first time Ratio has found himself in some form of a stumped state due to some of your questionable actions or phrases. He just has to sit back and wait for a moment until his brain sets itself back in place and he can think straight again
-He often scolds you, but no matter what he says it's like your brain translates it to something completely different, and even if his words are harsh you take it as if he complimented you and praised you to no end?
-Man is confused. To say the least
-Once he caught you losing nearly all your money against Aventurine, stating āthird time's the charmā. YOU DONāT EVEN KNOW POKER?! Even Aventurine was laughing along in all the confusion one can show without being odd, and he had to say he wouldnāt have taken the money,Ā this was just a āfriendly-fireā sort of thing, he says. Well thatās lucky for you, considering you had rent and food to pay for!
-He drags you away while you jest about it and also apologize too, because he looks like heāll explode
-Ratio may or may have not hit the top of your head with his codex..once or twice, but itās all in good spirits - trust
-He really does mean well, especially if he seriously sees you struggling with something. He wonāt hand you the answers on a silver platter unless it's a last resort sort of thing, but he would prefer to guide you to the answer, basically making you think outside the box and such until you arrive at the answer yourself. He is always open to advice and keeps an open mind, and with that he could entertain an idea you may have, yes.. even the more... silly ones. But also be ready to be shut down immediately for the absurd ideas you may bring up. He doesn't waste time nor does he like or plan to.
-Dr. Ratio is the voice of reason in your life, and he's there to reel you back to the ground when you may be getting ideas for something that would not benefit you, or god forbid - if you plan to do something risky that could harm you or your reputation.
-He often goes out of his way to make sure youāre doing things on schedule, so waking you up, sending you a message to eat (no crisps, go eat something good, something healthy), heād send you articles about things he remembers interest you, papers on your favored topics
-A more tender thing he does is do your hair. Itās a simple thing yet it means a lot to him and you. Just a few minutes of quiet as his fingers thread or comb through your hair, brushing through it with meticulous moves, making sure he doesnāt pull or yank.Ā
Finally made a skeleton arm for my Ianthe cosplay! Video does not do justice to how shiny this is. I debuted worst girlās skelly arm at FanimeCon 2024 this past weekend and got a lot of questions about how I crafted it.
ā¬ļø Details are below the cut ā¬ļø
The TL;DR: Each bone was a piece of craft foam wrapped in gold spandex fabric (via tacky glue) and tacky glued and subsequently whip-stitched on to a matte black glove.
Why I chose the materials I did:
Comfort in cosplay is a very important to me, so I wanted to ensure that everything on my hand would be able move comfortably on my arm. Thin craft foam, spandex, and tacky glue were all materials that I knew could hold up to my hand flexing. Tacky glue has the added benefit of being non-toxic. I selected the āThunder Hologram Spandexā from Blue Moon Fabric in āGold Goldā as my fabric choice as I felt it could give some good texture and dimensionality to the individual bones that I knew would be pasted flat on the craft foam. I didnāt want to make the base glove, so I purchased one of the seamless gloves from WeLoveColors in black.
Patterning:
I traced my hand and looked up reference images of skeleton arms and used it to draw a skeleton hand fitting the dimensions of my own hand. For my forearm, I used a classic cosplayer patterning trick: I first wrapped my arm in cling wrap, then covered with duct tape. I then drew on the forearm bones based on my reference material. I used transfer paper to then trace the pattern on to the craft foam, and cut out the pieces with scissors (an x acto knife wouldāve worked better but I couldnāt fine mine and I was feeling lazy). I kept my drawn pattern of the skeleton hand to keep my many foam pieces organized.
āGildingā:
For this section, I will be referring to the foam pieces as having a ārightā and āwrongā side. The right side is the side of the foam that will be lying up, and the wrong side is the side glued to the base glove. I rolled out my gold spandex fabric, with wrong side facing up with a layer of parchment paper underneath. I applied a thin layer of tacky glue using a brush on to the right side of the foam, then pasted it down to the wrong side of the gold fabric. I left plenty of room between the foam pieces glued to the fabric as I would need to wrap the edges of the fabric over to the wrong side of the foam.
Once the tacky glue was dry, I cut out the pieces, being sure to leave an allowance of fabric around the foam to be wrapped over to the wrong side of the foam. Each bone contained many convex and concave curves, so I clipped and notched the fabric allowance as necessary. See guide below:
Once the fabric was clipped and notched, I used a brush to apply tacky glue to the allowance on the wrong side of the fabric. Then I folded the allowance over to the wrong side of the foam, held in place, and used a hair dryer with my free hand to help accelerate tacky glueās slow dry time. Once the glue was tacky enough to hold the wrapped fabric in place, I let completely dry on parchment paper wrong side of the foam down.
Attaching to glove:
Now that my bones are dry, I can attach them to my glove! To initially place down the pieces, I put the glove on to my arm, used a brush to apply tacky glue to the wrong side of the fabric wrapped foam piece and then placed on to the glove, using a hair dryer to help speed up the glue process, then moving to the next piece once every piece was set. For this step it is extremely important you use a non toxic glue, as some glue will seep through the glove and get on your skin. It will take a while for the glue to dry, so be patient and take some time to watch some TV or listen to a podcast/audiobook.
I made sure to show it off to my cat.
Once dry, I carefully removed from my arm. I knew immediately I couldnāt get away with solely glueing the pieces down. I had some gold metallic thread in my stash already, so I used that to whip stitch each piece on to the glove. Metallic thread can be a little annoying to work with, so be sure to look up some tips online before purchase some.
Then I was done! I definitely think this is one of the coolest things Iāve made. Iāve been brainstorming how to make this for quite some time, so I feel very accomplished and so happy other people appreciated my handiwork.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions, Iāll do my best to answer them!
hellooo, i have a silly question:
how can i be more productive and have a better mindset? i'm currently in high school, and my grades are terribly dropping. i have 0 motivation, and i cant seem to focus on anything. i really want to be productive, but uhhh i also have strict parents.. i need help!!
hi pookie AAAH u are going through a lot let's break all that into chunks first !
How to be productive !
1.Visualize Success
Picture the outcome of completing your tasks to stay motivated.
2. Plan Your Day
Make a To-Do List: Write down tasks in order of priority.
Set Specific Goals: Break larger tasks into smaller, actionable steps.
3. Create a Routine
Establish a consistent daily schedule to build habits.
Start with high-energy tasks in the morning and save lighter ones for later.
4. Avoid Multitasking
Focus on one task at a time for better quality and efficiency.
5. Minimize Distractions
Put your phone on silent or use apps to block distractions.
Work in a clean, quiet, and organized environment.
6. Use Time Management Techniques
Pomodoro Technique: Work for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break, and repeat.
Time Blocking: Allocate specific hours for tasks or categories.
7. Take Care of Yourself
Sleep: Ensure you get 7-8 hours of rest.
Nutrition: Eat a balanced diet to maintain energy.
Exercise: Physical activity improves focus and reduces stress.
8. Avoid Perfectionism
Aim for progress, not perfection. Sometimes "done" is better than "perfect."
9. Reward Yourself
Celebrate small wins to stay motivated.
how to improve your mindset ?
I have a blog where I talked about that with details (click here!)
High school study method
I feel you I'm also in high school and grades are ONE AND FOREVER thing to care about .Improving your grades back in high school is completely achievable if U take small consistent steps and focus on progress rather than perfection as I said before .. First, create a study plan that breaks your day into manageable chunks of work and restāthis will help you avoid feeling overwhelmed. Start with your most difficult or important subjects when your energy is highest, and review class notes daily to reinforce what youāve learned. Donāt be afraid to ask your teachers for help; theyāre there to guide you and will appreciate your effort. If you struggle to stay motivated, remind yourself why education is importantāwhether itās to achieve your dream career, make your family proud, or prove to yourself that you can succeed. Celebrate small wins, like completing an assignment on time or understanding a tough concept, and reward yourself with something you enjoy. Remember, you donāt have to do it alone .. study with ur friends (I mean ppl who have interest in studying), use online resources, and focus on one step at a time. Youāre capable of so much more than you think ..
Study methods !
The Active Study Cycle
1. Preview the Material
Skim the chapter or topic youāll study before class. Look at headings, subheadings, key terms, and summaries to get an overview.
2. Attend and Engage in Class
Actively participate, ask questions, and take notes in your own words. Highlight key points your teacher emphasizes.CHANGE UR MINDSET study = great future
3. Review and Organize Notes
After class, rewrite or organize your notes neatly. Use diagrams, bullet points, or flowcharts to simplify complex concepts. TRY TO REWRITE UR NOTES UNTIL THEY STUCK IN UR BRAIN
4. Apply Active Recall
Test yourself regularly by asking questions about what youāve studied. Use flashcards, quizzes, or apps like Anki to reinforce memory.
5. Practice Spaced Repetition
Review the material multiple times over several days instead of cramming. This method strengthens long-term retention.
6. Teach Someone Else
Try explaining the topic to a friend or even to yourself . Teaching reveals gaps in your understanding and reinforces knowledge.
7. Use Past Papers and Practice Tests
Solve past exam questions or practice problems under timed conditions to familiarize yourself with the format and improve time management.
8. Break the shit Down
Divide your study sessions into 25-30 minute chunks with short breaks in between (Pomodoro Technique). This prevents burnout and keeps you focused.
9. Create a Study Space
Set up a clean, quiet space with all the tools you need (notebooks, pens, etc.)
10. End with a Summary
At the end of each study session, summarize the main points of what youāve learned to solidify your understanding.
strict parents and motivation!
I FEEL YOU CUZ SAME
Dealing with strict parents while staying motivated as a student can feel overwhelming, but remember: Tough times never last, but tough people do. Your parents' strictness likely stems from their desire to see you succeed, even if their methods feel harsh. Instead of focusing on the pressure, channel that energy into proving to yourselfāand themāthat you are capable.
Your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow Stay consistent with your efforts, even when itās hard. Break your goals into small, manageable steps and celebrate every victory, no matter how small. Treat your studies as a way to build your dream life, not just something to satisfy your parents.
When things feel too heavy, remind yourself: You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think Youāre not alone in this journey, and every challenge you face is shaping you into a stronger person.
Finally, keep in mind: Success is the best revenge cuz One day, when youāve achieved your goals and created a life you love, youāll look back and thank yourself for not giving up. Trust the process and keep moving forwardāyouāre stronger than you think!
Stay focused on your goals and remember that small steps lead to big results. Challenges, like dealing with strict parents or tough situations, are opportunities to grow stronger. Trust yourself, keep pushing forward, and know that your effort today shapes your success tomorrow. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
HOW TO GET THE GIRL: A LOVERS GUIDE
CHAPTER NINE: about jiwoo. (1.6k)
WARNINGS: angst, reader is referred to as woman.
ā previous ep. ā¹ masterlist ā¹ next ā¹
Weeks have gone by since you started tutoring Riki. To say you've started to like him more was a vast understatement. Once you dropped your "cold" act that lasted for a mere 3 sessions, You started to become accustomed to him.
Although you had gone many years without interacting with each other, it felt like the spark you had imagined between you two never left.
The both of you had grown comfortable with each other to the point you started to interact with each other outside of the usual library doors.
At first, it was embarrassing to have your name shouted at the other end of the hallway, however, it turned into a typical routine where instead of keeping your head down and speed-walking away from him to avoid lingering eyes, you'd wave back.
During these study sessions, you learned more and more about him. How he microwaves his strawberries, he has a dog named Bisco, he can play piano, and he has a large fear of bugs that you've sadly had to learn the hard way after he accidentally pushed you aside to run away from a nearby wasp.
Something else you learned about Niki was that his grades did not match up with his knowledge. Sure, he was inconsistent with his attendance and would rarely turn in classwork if any at all, but he was smart and an extremely fast learner.
It had gotten to the point where you'd just set a small bulk of his past-due assignments in front of him and study for your other classes until he finished.
The study sessions quickly turned into more of a hangout. Staying in the library together hours after completing whatever workload had stacked up over the week to share hushed laughter and talk about everything under the sun until the library had to close down for the night.
You'd even go as far as to call him your friend, and so would members of the Newspaper Club.
"You're in a rush." Lily offhandedly mentioned as she typed away on the school's computer. Her posture had straightened at the sound of you hastily packing away your belongings but her eyes refused to stray away from the screen.
"Hm? Oh, yeah. I'm supposed to meet up with Riki." you answered before slinging the book bag over your shoulder.
"To do what exactly? It's a Friday and I thought you only tutored him on Sundays." J suddenly butted in, a playful yet accusatory tone to her voice as she suddenly invested herself in the conversation.
"I don't know actually, he asked to meet me at the school gates when our session ended."
"Oh? Is he walking you home? That's pretty cute." Yoon commented, a teasing smile growing on her face. "I don't know why he would, I meanā he's never done it before. So, I don't see why he'd want to do it now." You replied with fake unconcern.
You were being honest when you said you didn't know why Riki had suddenly made this decision to meet you at the school gate, but if it was to start walking you home on a frequent basis, you're 100% sure your knees would give out.
"Did you guys need any more help before I head out?" You suddenly questioned, trying to shift focus away from your last comment.
"Nope, we got it from here. Only thing we have left to do anyway is restock the printer paper." J assured with a small smile before hoisting herself up to sit on a desk.
"Okay, I'll see you guys later then." You quickly replied as you made your way towards the exit,
Lily only hummed in response to your statement before saying "Have fun, don't get into any trouble."
A smile crept onto your face as you resisted the urge to roll your eyes at how much she sounded like a Mom sending her daughter off. "And text us when you make it back home!" Seeun responded, suddenly bordering out of the storage closet with a box filled to the brim with different bulks of paper.
"Okay, Moms, will do."
"About time." Riki groaned out, loud enough for your approaching figure to hear as you made your way into eye view. "Oh, shut up," you said as he pushed himself off of the gates.
"I feel like I've been waiting for forever." He whines as he follows behind your figure. "Yeah, right. Couldn't have been waiting that long since it looks like you went home to drop off your backpack." You pointed out, silently relishing in the feeling of freedom as you got farther and farther away from school grounds.
"I didn't feel like carrying that thing around all day. Plus, it'll be easier to carry yours." He stated nonchalantly.
He reached over to slip your bag off of your shoulders before flinging it across his own, his delicate fingers brushing over your own as he did so. But just as quick as his touch arrived, it was just as quick to leave.
His simple actions shouldn't ruffle you like they do, yet it still happens. You know that when Riki does things like this he never has an underlying intention which makes it all the more pathetic when you feel your stomach brim with butterflies the moment you make skin-to-skin contact with him.
You cleared your throat before wrapping your arms around your stomach, a meek attempt at trying to calm the raging storm of feelings that was happening inside of you.
"So, why did you want to walk me home all of a sudden?" You asked, shifting your gaze around the growing shrubbery to avoid looking in his direction.
"Oh, right. I wanted to ask you something." He shyly uttered, his free hand that wasn't holding your bag made its way to the back of his neck, nervously rubbing it as he looked down at his sneakers.
You glanced in his direction to see that whatever was on his mind had been weighing in on him for a while. "Yeah, what's up?" you asked softly before shifting your gaze forward.
"Um, you're friends with Jiwoo, right?" he asked, out of the corner of your eye you could see him turn towards you. Trying to gauge your reaction and see what you'd say.
It took a moment for the question to fully translate in your mind as if he was speaking a foreign language you had never heard before. Once it did register in your head you couldn't help the shock that overtook your body, nearly making you stumble over your feet.
You opened your mouth to speak but no words came out, it was as if you were a fish out of water. Your mouth had suddenly gone dry and it felt as if you saw the fantasy of your TV romance crashing in front of your eyes. "Yeah, Jiwoo and I are really good friends." You finally managed to push out.
"Why do you ask?" You quickly follow up, your eyebrows unknowingly furrowing.
"I asked because I wanted to know if she was single." He replied, his tone went from nervousness to giddiness in a matter of seconds.
You couldn't turn towards him because you could hear the smile in his voice at the mere mention of her name. You were afraid that if you saw how he beamed at the thought of her that the butterflies that were swarming in your stomach just a few seconds earlier would escape onto the concrete in front of you.
"She's single," you affirmed with a stiff nod.
"Do you think you could set me up with her?" He immediately asked, a hopeful tone in his voice. Each word that came out of his mouth felt like a blow to the gut, killing off each butterfly one by one.
Your head shook 'no' before you could even form the words. "I-...I don't think I could."
"Oh, come on, please?" He suddenly pleaded, turning towards you once again. He wanted you to look at him, whether intentionally or not he knew that if you made eye contact with him you'd fall into his trap just like everyone else.
"Just get one of the basketball players to help. Or one of their cheerleader girlfriends." you tried to reason. "It's not the same," he muttered, tilting his head towards the sky, another whine threatening to come out of his mouth.
"Come on, you'd be the perfect wing-woman. you're good friends with her so it'd be easy and less weird when someone she barely knows tries to set her up with me," he argued, adding onto why he wanted you to set him up with her.
You bit your lip in contemplation. It felt like the obvious answer was 'NO!' but another part of you wanted to agree to set them up. You were happy with the relationship you and Riki had started to build together and you didn't want an elementary crush to get in the way of that.
There was always the lingering possibility that you and him were only ever meant to be friends and nothing more, and maybe, just maybe, Jiwoo was the one for him.
"What do I get out of this?" You quietly asked after the lingering silence.
"Anything you want. If you do this for me I promise I'll pay you back" He swiftly responded before stopping in his tracks, instinctively making you stop alongside him. "Please, just do this for me." He begged, his hands fidgeting with the rings on his fingers as he waited for your answer.
"Fine, I'll help you."
