Imagine if Machete was Muslim instead of Catholic. His name would be something like Saif سيف, and Vasco would probably be something like Dhahabi ذَهَبِيّ

I pray Thee, Lord, for Mercy For I'm a sinner. Thank You God that You forgive All the times I lie, neglect, lash out, and pilfer. What a blessing it is To confess, to repent, My sins no longer clandestine. I pour my heart into the Light Where God does wash its stained form white. Ugly iniquity replaced with Beautiful Grace… The Holy Spirit comforts and convicts me simultaneously. As I repent I hear God's Voice, The joy of Salvation stirs once more: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are Mine." And in my Lord's scarred Hands I cry, For after all I've done God calls me, "Mine." Thank You Jesus for Your Mercy, Thank You forever for forgiving me.

How to Catch Sin Before It Grows
You don’t fall into sin by accident. Nobody just “slips” into adultery.Nobody just “wakes up” addicted.Nobody just “accidentally” walks away from God. It always starts small. It always starts inside. It always starts with something you could have caught if you were paying attention. And if you don’t kill it early. It will kill you later. “But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed…

God is calling us to repent of our sins.
Repentance doesn’t just mean to stop committing them, but to feel sorrow for doing them in the first place. It’s a call to reject the old way of life, and begin a completely new one in Christ Jesus.
But why? Why does God call us into this new life?
The answer is simple: so you can live in the next one. The Bible states that the Father’s will is for everyone on Earth to be with him in the next life: to reject the god of this world, and embrace the God of the next. It’s a lifeline to pull you out of the mire and muck of sin, and finally run like a calf released from its stall.
It’s a call to accept God’s mercy as he (the perfect and most holy being) invites us (those who are imperfect and unholy) to be part of his everlasting kingdom, his family.
No father wishes to see their children get punished, and God wishes to spare us from eternal punishment: so much so that he died a humiliating and tortuous death, just to secure this lifeline for us.
Repentance is a call to live forever for him, for his pleasure, for his glory, and for his love for his creation.
It’s through his death and resurrection that we can finally live and be resurrected into a new life, with him at its center. A life lived for him, and for those around us: to give instead of receive, to love instead of hate, to spread joy instead of terror and false news. It’s a call to a life of purpose, and thinking of others before yourself.
This an invitation to live a life of humble service, to God and to your neighbors. But make no mistake, this is an invitation, not something you are forced into. The choice is yours, but the offer is limited time only.
Make your choice while you still can, because who knows when your time will come.
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️

WHAT IS GOD’S JUDGMENT TODAY ON AMERICA?
God’s judgment on a nation is a serious and spiritual reality. Scripture gives us clear signs of what judgment looks like, and many of those signs are clearly visible in America today. These aren’t just political or cultural problems. They are spiritual consequences of turning away from God.
1. MORAL DECAY AND REJECTION OF TRUTH
When a nation abandons God’s truth and embraces lies, especially in areas of identity, sexuality, justice, and life, it invites judgment.
“They traded the truth about God for a lie.” — Romans 1:25
2. WIDESPREAD IDOLATRY
Many pursue self, fame, sex, power, and wealth rather than God. Many chase the gifts and forget the Giver.
“They worshiped worthless idols, only to become worthless themselves.” — Jeremiah 2:5
3. UNRIGHTEOUS LEADERSHIP
When people reject God, He often gives them leaders who reflect their rebellion. Corruption and confusion in leadership can be signs that God is allowing a nation to reap what it has sown.
“I gave you a king in my anger, and I took him away in my wrath.” — Hosea 13:11
4. ABANDONMENT TO SINFUL DESIRES
One judgment is God ceasing to restrain sin. When society indulges in depravity without conviction, it’s not freedom. It’s evidence of judgment.
“God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired.” — Romans 1:24
5. NO REPENTANCE DESPITE SUFFERING
Disasters, division, and moral collapse should lead a nation to repentance. When there is no turning back to God, it shows hardened hearts under judgment.
“But still the people did not turn to the Lord for help or seek him.” — Isaiah 9:13
6. DIVISION AND VIOLENCE
Mass shootings, hatred, racial conflict, and lawlessness are more than social issues. They are spiritual consequences of rejecting God’s design.
“Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.” — Matthew 24:12
FINAL WORD ON JUDGMENT
America is experiencing judgment, but it is also still under mercy. The door to repentance is open. But that door will not stay open forever.
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
RESTORATION
To step out from under God’s judgment, America must return to Him, not just in name, but in truth, humility, and obedience. Scripture outlines a clear path for any nation or people who desire restoration with God.
1. Repent of Sin
“Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” — Acts 3:19
America must acknowledge its sins, not justify or normalize them. This includes repenting of abortion, sexual immorality, pride, injustice, idolatry, and rejecting God’s truth.
2. Seek the Lord Humbly
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways…” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. National revival begins with humble, broken hearts before God, not self-righteousness, not religious performances, but genuine surrender.
3. Restore Reverence for God’s Word
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” — Psalm 119:105
There must be a return to the authority of Scripture. God’s Word must once again be the standard for truth, justice, morality, and guidance, not personal opinion, culture, or political trends.
4. Rebuild the Family and Honor Marriage
“Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage.” — Hebrews 13:4
God designed the family as the foundation of society. America must protect children, honor the role of both fathers and mothers, and uphold biblical marriage rather than redefine it.
5. Do Justice and Care for the Oppressed
“Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.” — Isaiah 1:17
Righteousness isn’t just private, it is public. A nation that honors God must also care for the vulnerable, pursue fairness, and defend those who cannot speak for themselves.
6. Preach the True Gospel
“Go and make disciples of all the nations… Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” — Matthew 28:19–20
The Church must preach repentance, not comfort. Truth, not tolerance of sin. Love, not silence. The Gospel transforms lives when it is preached boldly and biblically.
7. Return to the Fear of the Lord
“Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” — Proverbs 1:7
There can be no revival without fear of the Lord. America must stop mocking God, stop taking His name in vain, and stop using religion as a cultural accessory. God is holy, and He will not be mocked.
Final Thought
God is still patient, but patience is not permission. If America truly wants to avoid destruction, it must do what Nineveh did:
“The people of Nineveh believed God’s message… they put on burlap to show their sorrow. Even the king… sat in dust and ashes… Who can tell? Perhaps even yet God will change his mind and hold back his fierce anger.” — Jonah 3:5–9
And what did God do?
“When God saw what they had done and how they had put a stop to their evil ways, he changed his mind…” — Jonah 3:10
God’s mercy is still available, but are we willing to humble ourselves and return to Him? I truly pray we are. 🙏

What the Church Can Learn From Hazbin Hotel
Another nerdy devotional from probably one of the last sources of media you expected a holy revelation from. But read on to see what I say; some of the points may surprise you.
Okay, if you’re heard of this series, then you may be wondering how I’m making a devo out of this. Just stay with me. For those who don’t know, lemme give you a quick summary. Hazbin Hotel is the story of Lucifer’s daughter, Charlie Morningstar, who creates a hotel to rehabilitate sinners in hell so that they can work their way into heaven. No, I didn’t make any of that up. It debuted as a pilot…
