The first time David Whitaker tried to go undercover in his own company, he wore a ten-dollar polo from a strip mall, khaki pants a size too tight, and an ill-fitting baseball cap he found in the back seat of his driver’s car. He looked like a man playing dress-up—more sitcom character than sanitation technician.
Still, he tried.
He showed up at the Midlands BioWaste Division unannounced, with a fake name, a fabricated work order, and a cheap badge that looked real if you didn’t look too long. His assistant, Andrew, had arranged it all—found a makeup artist to darken his skin slightly, widen his nose with putty, even add faint calluses to his palms using silicone. The wig was glued down with care, short and curly, and he’d grown out just enough facial hair to pass for a bearded guy who didn’t quite keep up with his grooming.
When he walked in that morning, he believed—deeply—that he could pass.
“Hey, new guy,” one of the crew had barked. “You lost or something?”
David gave a tight smile, trying to adjust his voice. “Nah, man. I’m supposed to be with Tony’s team?”
The other man squinted. “You got a whole-ass camera crew followin’ you?”
“No,” David said quickly. “Just… orientation. Transfer from another plant.”
But someone was already pulling out their phone. Someone else muttered, “That look like Mr. Whitaker to you?” and then, louder, “Yo, isn’t that the CEO dude?”
The prosthetics had taken four hours to apply.
They lasted twelve minutes.
David didn’t make it past the safety training room. He’d barely sat down before a supervisor recognized the shape of his jaw, the cadence of his voice, the way he walked with his hands half-clenched like he always did on investor calls.
By noon, the whole floor knew.
He had to call security—not to remove anyone, but to extract himself.
That night, sitting shirtless in his penthouse, scrubbing adhesive from his cheeks with industrial remover, David stared at himself in the mirror.
It wasn’t just that he had failed. It was that who he was was un-hideable. He had crafted a life so specific, so visible, so perfectly elite, that no disguise—no matter how well done—could ever let him fade.
“I don’t want to play pretend,” he said aloud, to no one.
He wanted something real. Something where he didn’t have to act like a different person. He wanted to become one.
That’s when he made the call.
Two weeks later, in a nondescript facility under a NovaGro lab in Raleigh, he stood in a concrete chamber lined with biometric locks and fiber-optic panels.
Alina, head of Transformation Ops, met him with a tablet and a thick file. Her eyes flicked down to the bruises still faint on his cheek from removing the nose prosthetic too quickly.
“You’re sure?” she asked. “This isn’t reversible. Not in the short-term. It’ll be full integration. Your body, brain, endocrine system, vocal cords, memories—will all take on the template of the subject.”
“I’m not interested in partial,” David replied, already pulling off his tailored jacket. “No cameras. No makeup. I want a life that’s not mine. I want to feel what it is to be them.”
Alina nodded. “We ran compatibility scans. Based on your baseline metrics, there’s one candidate we believe will give you the most extreme—and instructive—contrast.”
She tapped a file and turned the screen toward him.
Jamal T. Thompson.
David stared at the photo. Then another. And another.
Sweat glistening down heavy shoulders. A grin that curled upward only on one side. Southern-born. Grew up in a single-bedroom home with four siblings. Works waste ops. Likes basketball, black-and-milds, homemade biscuits. Gay, proudly. And solid. Stocky. Compact like a brawler. Loud laugh. Tattoos up both arms.
The file scrolled, showing more pictures, video clips, audio samples.
David leaned closer, watching the way Jamal’s body moved, the way he talked with his hands, the ease with which he leaned into his own life.
David whispered, almost surprised at himself, “He’s… perfect.”
“We thought so,” Alina said. “You’ll be his twin. Not just in body. But in culture, behavior, hunger, and temperament. You’ll feel what he feels. Desire what he desires. You won’t just know what it’s like to be him. For a time… you will be him.”
David nodded slowly. “Then let’s begin.”
This time, there’d be no wig. No latex. No cheap accent. This time, he’d disappear entirely.
And when he came back?
The room smelled faintly of antiseptic, ozone, and engine grease. David stood on the metal platform in nothing but a black cotton robe, arms outstretched like he was about to be crucified. Overhead, a dozen articulated scanner arms moved around his body, flashing beams of blue light across his skin, taking full biometric and skeletal reads.
He’d already shaved—everywhere. Head, face, groin, chest, legs. They needed a blank canvas. His scalp felt raw, almost vulnerable. His jawline, now completely exposed, looked sharper than he remembered. Alina had noted that with a slight smirk.
“You’re going to miss that cleft chin,” she said, scrolling through readouts. “Jamal’s got a softer jaw. You’ll be chewing differently. Speaking differently. Swallowing’s going to feel odd at first, especially with the shift in tongue thickness and palate height.”
David just nodded. “I’m ready.”
“You say that now,” she muttered.
The table rose with a hydraulic hiss, angling him backward. Soft cuffs secured his ankles and wrists. His heart began to race—not from fear, exactly, but the kind of adrenaline he hadn’t felt since his Series B pitch fifteen years ago.
A nurse dabbed his temples with cold gel. “You’ll be under in sixty seconds. Just focus on what you’re doing this for.”
“I am,” he said quietly. “I built this company with people like Jamal on the ground floor. I need to know what it really cost them.”
The IV slid in. The lights dimmed.
Warmth hit him first—a heavy, smothering warmth, like waking up beneath a lead blanket soaked in sweat. His limbs felt thick, like they were submerged in syrup. He tried to roll to one side and couldn’t—his body didn’t move how it used to. Muscles responded, but not with the sharp, clean coordination he knew. These were denser muscles. Bulkier. Slower. The joints flexed differently.
David’s eyelids peeled open with effort. The ceiling was low. Concrete, unfinished. A fan spun lazily above, stirring air that smelled like antiseptic, cocoa butter, and… funk. His own funk. That realization hit somewhere deep in his groin.
“Good morning,” came a voice. A man in slate gray scrubs stepped into view, tablet in hand. His badge read Technician HERNANDEZ.
David grunted.
The voice that came out wasn’t his. It was deep. Resonant. With a Southern rasp to it. It rumbled through his chest and vibrated at the base of his skull.
“Yeah…” Hernandez chuckled. “She’s calibrating. That’s yours now.”
Another tech appeared. A Black woman with long braids and a no-nonsense air. “Vitals holding. Let’s start full integration.”
David felt the soft weight of a robe over his body. His hands rested across his belly. Or rather—Jamal’s belly. Round, heavy, firm with thick muscle and a layer of fat. He lifted one hand slowly.
The skin was deep brown. The fingers thick. The knuckles worn. A callus sat below the ring finger—decades of hard grip. The nails were blunt and imperfect. Hair dusted the back of the hand. A dark tattoo curled along the wrist: BLESSED, in bold gothic font.
“Try wiggling your toes for me,” Hernandez said.
David shifted. The sensation was dull at first, then overwhelming. His feet were broad—flat. The soles ached even as he flexed them. He had never felt such pressure just from lying down.
“That’s all you,” the woman said. “Your new feet. Years of concrete floors in those. No arches. When you stand, you’re gonna walk wider, heavier. You carry weight differently now. Thighs rub. Calves thick. Your center of gravity’s lower, further forward.”
David grunted again.
“You’re sedated slightly,” Hernandez said. “Not fully. Just to keep the memory integration smooth. You’ll feel flashes. Desires. The sound of your new laugh. How you like your eggs. Let that stuff settle naturally.”
David nodded. Or tried to. His neck was thick. When he lifted his head, the weight of it shocked him. His traps tensed automatically—meatier now. It wasn’t pain. Just… density.
“Go slow,” the woman murmured. “Gettin’ up’s gonna feel like moving furniture inside your skin.”
David flexed his abs—only they weren’t abs. They were thick slabs of core muscle padded by soft fat. He felt the roll bunch and shift as he leaned forward. The robe stretched.
“Take a look at your chest,” Hernandez said.
He did. Broad pecs—soft but firm—hung heavy. His nipples were darker, thicker, surrounded by curly hair. He reached up and felt his beard. Coarse. Damp with sweat. It connected to thick sideburns and a tight fade that met a shaved neckline. The skin of his scalp was different too—more sensitive.
“Can you speak for us?” the woman asked.
David licked his lips. They were full. When he parted them, his tongue felt wide and heavy. He blinked, then rasped, “Mornin’.”
Even he startled at the sound. The accent. The rhythm. It didn’t just sound like someone else. It felt like someone else.
“Good,” Hernandez said. “Nice and gravelly. You’ll smooth out by lunch.”
David took a slow breath. Beneath the robe, he could feel his balls resting heavy against his thighs. His cock hung warm and wide, resting sideways. He could feel it in a way he never had before—every swing, every pulse.
“Alright, Jamal,” the woman said, eyes warm but focused. “Let’s sit up.”
He gripped the sides of the bed. His hands grunted against the rails. Arms strained—thicker now, tattooed, bunched with strength. His belly compressed as he sat forward. Sweat beaded along the curve of his spine.
He sat up.
And groaned—his own sound now, low and guttural.
“We’ll walk you through standing in a moment,” Hernandez said. “But first… we’ll give you a few minutes to explore. You need to understand what you’re working with.”
They both stepped back.
David looked down at his body—his new body—and let out a long, shaky breath.
He reached for the belt at the front of his robe. His pulse ticked faster. The cotton was damp against his chest. His new scent rose from under the fabric—earthy, sour, familiar in a way he didn’t want to admit yet.
He loosened the knot.
And slowly, deliberately, opened the robe.
The cotton robe fell open.
Heat rushed up from his groin like steam from a manhole. His chest expanded on instinct, like he had to make room for what he was seeing—what he was now.
His belly rose in a wide dome, a stretch of rich, dark skin mottled with freckles and a faded scar to the left of his navel. His pecs were thick, meaty, each with a dark nipple that pointed slightly outward, ringed in curly hair. A gold chain rested in the valley between them. His thighs spread wide beneath him, black and powerful, touching from mid-groin to knee. A stretch mark shimmered silver on one hip.
David’s breath caught as his eyes dropped lower.
His cock was half-hard already, wide at the base and resting sideways against his thigh, heavy and uncut. The skin there was darker, smoother. It looked used to friction. Behind it, his balls hung low and full, twitching slightly from the breeze of the overhead fan. His pubic hair was trimmed—more from wear than grooming—and sweat made it glisten.
Jesus… that’s mine now.
He swallowed. His new tongue rubbed differently inside his mouth. Focus. Just breathe.
He reached out slowly with both hands. The palms trembled—calloused, broader than his old ones. When his fingers touched his belly, a shock ran up his spine.
“Shit,” he muttered. But the voice came out with drawl and grit: “Shiit…” The way the ‘i’ curled and the ‘t’ dropped… it wasn’t David’s accent anymore. That was Jamal’s.
He tried again, softly, talking to himself. “C’mon now. Ain’t no reason to be actin’ scared.”
What the fuck did I just say? The voice didn’t sound scared at all. It sounded practiced, like this body already knew how to calm itself down. The cadence. The rhythm. It wasn’t rehearsed. It just was.
He touched his pec next. It gave under pressure, but bounced when he let go. Then he pressed in again—thicker, weightier than anything he’d ever had on his chest. His fingers lingered on his nipple. It twitched.
David exhaled through his nose. “Damn, this body don’t miss.”
Who even talks like that? He did now, apparently.
He ran both hands over his stomach, feeling the way it sat. Solid. Not flat like before, but strong. He twisted a little, watching how it folded, how the weight shifted. When he bent forward, his thighs compressed his balls in a way that made his whole lower body twitch. Not pain. Just… mass. Heat. Life.
The scent from under his arms hit him next—cocoa butter and musk, something faintly like peppercorn and sun. That’s me now. I smell like that. I carry that.
He reached up and touched his face. The beard was dense, wiry. A little damp. He rubbed his cheek, watching the way his hand looked against his own skin. Dark on dark. Real.
He stood.
Slow. Careful.
His thighs tensed to lift him, and he immediately felt his center of balance had changed. Wider hips, heavier ass. His feet settled flat on the floor with a dull thud. Toes splayed wide, grounding him.
“Feel like I gotta… walk different,” he murmured.
The woman tech nodded. “You do. You’ll lead with the thighs now. Your knees don’t lock the same. And your back’s shaped to lean just slightly forward.”
David stepped once. Then twice. The robe swayed open behind him.
He stopped, rubbing the back of his neck, chuckling low. “Damn. I walk like my ass just told the room I showed up.”
The accent was undeniable now. Southern. Smooth. Deep in the throat. That wasn’t David pretending. That was Jamal, rising to the surface.
“Vitals holding,” Hernandez said. “Integration is stabilizing. You’re thinking like David but moving and speaking like Jamal. Your subconscious is doing its job.”
David scratched his chest absently. “This is wild… I ain’t never— I mean—I’ve never felt this grounded in my body. It’s like… I take up space now. People gonna look at me different.”
“That’s the point,” the woman murmured.
David turned and looked at her. “Yeah… yeah, I see that.”
His hand brushed his cock, shifting it to the left side out of habit. It bounced slightly, swaying from the base. He caught himself smiling.
“This man got a lot goin’ on,” he laughed.

Further, an offline version of the game was released in 2014, and a remaster, Ciel nosurge DX, was released exclusively in Japan for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
In the title, players communicate with an amnesiac girl from another dimension, Ion, who is next in line to be the emperor of her world. Players can also romance her gradually across several interactions. The direct sequel, Ar Nosurge, was later released and even localized on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita despite Ciel Nosurge never leaving Japan. These two titles are also set in the same universe as the Ar Tonelico series.

yknow what, I'm just absolutely sick of how often i end up feeling like my x files opinions are wrong, stupid, sexist, indefensible, backward and unforgivably ~wooby apologist~ for not preferring gentol puppy malewife-himbo Mulder or believing that all of Mulder's frustration with Scully was "mean" and "bad behavior" and "totally unwarranted and unearned" instead of A) not being nearly as bad as people make out and B) a human and earned reaction to Scully's moody, uncommunicative game playing and sudden reversals of opinion for the last couple of years until they get to where they are in late s5/s6.
It's not like her writing is inconsistent enough to say that all of it is done 'for the convenience of the plot.' Yeah, they boxed themselves in with the 'have to make the characters take opposite sides of the skeptic and believer dynamic every situation' dynamic and yeah, that can be explained away as a plot function. But the part where Scully resists and protests and fends off and lashes off about every level of change in their relationship and her belief system, and expects Mulder not to push her too much, which is fair, that's a boundary. And then she suddenly decides "okay i believe this now" or "I want this now in our dynamic" with no or very little communication to Mulder and he's supposed to catch up instantly and not hesitate or be confused or have any questions or she reacts with hurt and betrayal and retreats again or lashes out in some way.
This is a pattern with her character, and maybe it was part of how they staved off the ship and the shippers, but it is in the text. Consistently. The thing about the X-files is that the mytharc rambles all over but until the last season and a half + the 2nd move & revival (through a lot of factors, many of them simply being time) the character behaviors and motifs and haphazard growth arcs do stay consistent. Throwing that out because people want a good guy (girl) and a bad guy (boy) seems like a waste of depth and nuance.
Scully is a very flawed, very complex and raw character, who is, beneath the surface level, noticeably more unbalanced than Mulder despite all his trauma, or at least she lacks the self-awareness of why she's acting irrationally when she does vs Mulder's 'fully aware but doing it anyway because he can't convince himself he can stop' situation. And to be honest that makes her fascinating, especially with the way none of it is done with a wink at the camera and a big pantomime of the tropes like there is with so many of the 'genius girlfailures' in shows today.
Yeah, Mulder is sarcastic and intelligent and stubborn and that's fine and he doesn't have to apologize for it before they can fuck. Yeah Scully is unhinged and impulsive even though she covers it really really well, and yeah she can be a little manipulative and unfair even while disdaining and trying to protect Mulder from other people who manipulated him on a much greater level.
Lets be frank here, Dana "other fathers" Scully would get bored of a man who wasn't a little mean to her sometimes, and wasn't smart enough to keep up with her, and Mulder wouldn't even notice a woman who didn't manipulate him just a little bit. That's fine, they're allowed to not be perfectly healthy and to have these compatible foibles.

Note
whats the status of like. using linux on a phone. it feels like there are two parallel universes, one that kde lives in where people use linux on phones, and one where if you google linux phones you discover theyre almost usable but they can barely make phone calls or send texts and they only run on like 4 models of phone
don't have much experience with linux on phone so anyone please correct me if i'm wrong but
one of the problems with phones is that every vendor and manufacturer adds their own proprietary driver blob to it and these have to be extracted and integrated into the kernel in order for the hardware to function.
as companies don't like to share their magic of "how does plastic slab make light", reverse engineering all your hardware is quite a difficult task. Sometimes there just isn't a driver for the camera of a phone model yet because no one was able to make it work.
So naturally, this takes a lot of time and tech is evolving fast so by the time a phone is completely compatible, next generations are already out and your new model obsolete.
Also important to note: most of this work is made by volunteers, people with a love for programming who put a lot of their own time into these things, most of them after their daytime jobs as a hobby.
Of course, there are companies and associations out there who build linux phones for a living. But the consumer hardware providers, like Pinephone, Fairphone and others out there aren't as big and don't have this much of a lobby behind them so they can't get their prices cheap. Also the manufacturers are actively working against our right to repair so we need more activism.
To make the phones still affordable (and because of said above driver issues) they have to use older hardware, sometimes even used phones from other manufacturers that they have to fix up, so you can't really expect a modern experience. At least you can revive some older phones. As everything Linux.
Then there's the software providers who many of are non-profits. KDE has Plasma Mobile, Canonical works on Ubuntu Touch, Debian has the Mobian Project and among some others there's also the Arch Linux ARM Project.
That's right baby, ARM. We're not talking about your fancy PC or ThinkPad with their sometimes even up to 64-bit processors. No no no, this is the future, fucking chrome jellyfishes and everything.
This is the stuff Apple just started building their fancy line of over-priced and over-engineered Fisher-Price laptop-desktops on and Microsoft started (Windows 10X), discontinued and beat into the smush of ChatGPT Nano Bing Open AI chips in all your new surface hp dell asus laptops.
What I was trying to say is, that program support even for the market dominating monopoles out there is still limited and.... (from my own experience from the workplace) buggy. Which, in these times of enshittification is a bad news. And the good projects you gotta emulate afterwards anyways so yay extra steps!
Speaking of extra steps: In order to turn their phone into a true freedom phone, users need to free themselves off their phones warranty, lose their shackles of not gaining root access, installing a custom recovery onto their phone (like TWRP for example), and also have more technical know-how as the typical user, which doesn't quite sounds commercial-ready to me.
So is there no hope at all?
Fret not, my friend!
If we can't put the Linux into the phone, why don't we put the phone around the Linux? You know... Like a container?
Thanks to EU regulations-
(US consumers, please buy the European versions of your phones! They are sometimes a bit more expensive, but used models of the same generation or one below usually still have warranty, are around the same price as over there in Freedom Valley, and (another side tangent incoming - because of better European consumer protection laws) sometimes have other advantages, such as faster charging and data transfer (USB-C vs lightning ports) or less bloated systems)
- it is made easier now to virtualize Linux on your phone.
You can download a terminal emulator, create a headless Linux VM and get A VNC client running. This comes with a performance limit though, as a app with standard user permissions is containerized inside of Android itself so it can't use the whole hardware.
If you have root access on your phone, you can assign more RAM and CPU to your VM.
Also things like SDL just released a new version so emulation is getting better.
And didn't you hear the news? You can run other things inside a VM on an iPhone now! Yup, and I got Debian with Xfce running on my Xiaomi phone. Didn't do much with it tho. Also Windows XP and playing Sims 1 on mobile. Was fun, but battery draining. Maybe something more for tablets for now.
Things will get interesting now that Google officially is a monopoly. It funds a lot of that stuff.
I really want a Steam Deck.
Steam phones would be cool.

The Absolute You (Story)
(CanaryAnne_) Posted on 5/7/2023
Hi all! I was wondering if I could have some other people look at this thing I stumbled upon, maybe figure it out. I truly, truly feel like I’m going crazy. So I went to Dresher University, and a while ago I was scrolling through their old social media posts out of boredom, and just a few years before my first semester there I found an obituary for a girl named Elodie Carter. I’ll go ahead and attach a part of that here.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that, on 10/7/2015, Dresher University student Elodie Carter lost her life shortly after a car accident at the age of 20.  Elodie was a bright student and charismatic speaker according to all those fortunate enough to connect with her. The aspiring physicist’s contributions to Dresher’s PRISM society pushed forward the organization’s capacity and ambitions to great heights, and even at such a tragically short span her life will have a positive impact on many to come. Even in her last few hours at the hospital, she was thinking about the wellbeing of others, comforting friends and organizing where her belongings would be allocated. Elodie was a bright light on campus, and we will never forget her. In the wake of her tra...
Ok, so really sad, but pretty normal all things considered. But as I was looking at it I got this really weird, like, reverse-deja vu moment where I felt like I was forgetting something that I should know about, but couldn’t tell what. So I looked into it a little bit, and I found this news article that references someone of the same name, at Dresher, dying on the same day. But instead of a car crash report, it’s a totally different story about some kind of mugging, which I have absolutely no memory of. And I… can’t think of any explanation for this? Both of these documents are public, and I just can’t see this being a coincidence. I’ll attach a bit of the article below, but can you guys help me look into this?
Student shot and killed during mugging at Dresher University (Published 12/7/2015) This Wednesday, Dresher University junior Elodie Carter was fatally shot while walking home from a party. Campus police were called to the scene after two gunshots were heard outside the Erwin Residence Hall, where they found Carter’s deceased body with two deadly gunshot wounds and purse missing.  Security camera footage reveals that the incident occurred just as Carter entered a blind spot, however, a blue truck not known to belong to any Dresher student can be seen quickly exiting the area moments before authorities could arrive.  Peers who attended the party she was leaving testify that nothing seemed unusual about her behavior, only that one friend warned her to be careful while walking home alone. The local police department is continuing to search for any signs of a perpetrator, and is discouraging students from being out alone in any context.

God fuckin damn casually dropping you got into Dresher. Jealousy aside, you’re right, this is really weird. As far as I can tell, there’s nothing off about either of these sources other than the fact that they contradict each other. I think it is technically possible that there were just two Elodie Carter’s at Dresher who died on the same day, but that just doesn’t sit right with me. Maybe this is just my conspiratorial side, but I feel like maybe this is some sort of cover-up and the media mixed up their stories.
(CanaryAnne_) Replied on 5/7/2023 to (Str4ng3r)
I guess that’s possible? It just seems so coincidental, like, besides the fact I can’t find anything they’d have to cover up (which I guess is kinda the point), wouldn’t anyone with the power to do that at least ensure that their super basic stories are… y’know, at least compatible?
Also my student loans are still KILLING me so don’t feel too jealous about not getting in.
(Str4ng3r) Replied on 5/7/2023 to (CanaryAnne_)
Alright this is officially fucked I found another account of her death, I looked through the account that posted her obituary and it still shows she is still following it (I guess they don’t delete accounts of ppl who’ve passed) and i chose a random person following her, scrolled down to around the time it happened, and there was nothing. But there was a post one year later commemorating her and-
AmberFoster (10/7/2016): It’s been a year since we lost Elodie. Walked to the park where we were on the night when she first said she was feeling strange, then she had a stroke, and just a day later she was gone. I don’t really know why I went back, it just made me feel awful. I guess on some level I feel like I owe it to her, I know a lot of people aren’t going to remember so I have to be there for her. Elly, if in some universe, in some way, you can read this, know that I’m only okay because of you.
This is crazy. And before anyone asks, no I’m not going to message them further that would be so weird.
(xpp0q) Replied on 6/7/2023 to (CanaryAnne_)
Alright, I started looking into it more, it doesn’t get any less impossible. I was looking at Dresher’s website and found one of their physics professors that’s been there a long time, figured if Elodie was a physics major then they would have crossed paths. I shot him an email asking if he ever taught her and if he knew of her passing, without mentioning the discrepancy we have here. He got back right away, this is the email and obv I censored both of our names.
Dear ████, Good evening to you too. Yes, I can confirm I taught Elodie in my Advanced Experimental Physics class around 2014. As it was a while back, I don’t remember a lot of the specifics, but I definitely recognize the name. I do have some emails coming from her that I won’t show you out of respect, but from what I can tell she was very involved with some of the deeper research happening on campus, and her suicide was very unexpected. Best of luck with whatever you’re looking for.  ████, PhD
I have no clue what to do with this. I asked him if he could show me proof or any email/document that it happened, and he said he had none but heard it by word of mouth.
I did some additional digging, and found the studies that the prof said she was working on. Well, sorta, I looked for them in the database and got results, but all of them were blacked out. I think they got intentionally expunged somehow. This sort of leans into the “government coverup” theory I guess, but still doesn’t really make sense. What research could she possibly have been doing that was secretive, yet known to a random professor, sensitive, yet released to the public at some point, made her dangerous enough to get killed, but not dangerous enough for her story to be written with any consistency, created all these messed up narratives, but not enough for anyone to notice until years later - it’s nonsense, I don’t know what to make of this. And that’s assuming it is a coverup at all, and we don’t know that.
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 7/7/2023 to (CanaryAnne_)
Hey, what the hell is going on here? This isn’t funny.

This account has been around for FIVE YEARS, dude. I read this forum. You can find posts of mine talking about Dresher and engineering advice really recently. What are you guys trying to do here?
(CanaryAnne_) Replied on 7/7/2023 to (Elly_Carter94)
You… Aren’t dead?
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 7/7/2023 to (Str4ng3r)
What do you think? I don’t know where all of these reports are coming from but they sure as hell aren’t about me. I had that professor, am still dating Amber, and have a job and everything now.
(CanaryAnne_) Replied on 7/7/2023 to (Elly_Carter94)
I’m really sorry you had to see us talk about you like this, but I mean… look at all of the different accounts we found, isn’t it reasonable that we thought that you were dead? None of us have found any evidence that these are fake, do you have any idea what this is?
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Str4ng3r)
I mean, no, I don’t know what they are. I’ve never seen these before. Sorry for my initial reaction, y'all aren’t doing anything wrong. You’re right, it is weird. I can tell you that my “involvement in research” was long enough ago that I can admit that I wasn’t actually super involved in it. My mom was the one actually in it, I just got a freebie internship that let me do accounting stuff for the researchers. I really wanted to be involved, but I just never got let in. There was only once I got any kind of action, there was someone missing that apparently was supposed to be there and I subbed in.
(xpp0q) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elly_Carter94)
What did you do when you got to work?
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (xpp0q)
I can’t remember most of it, but it was boring. I just had to stand in a specific place and press a button. I couldn’t even fully see the machine, but it was huge and underground. There actually was some kind of malfunction that day, a bunch of red lights and sirens told us that we had to leave like halfway through, and that was that.
By the way, I asked Amber to look through her posts for the one you guys found, and it is there but she doesn’t remember ever posting, nor would she have any reason to. I’m just as confused as all of you.
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 8/7/20██ to (Elly_Carter94)
Oh my god it worked, I actually have a connection. Ok, please listen to me. I’m not here to make jokes or anything like that. I might be able to explain but I don’t have any time. For you all it’s 2023 but right now it’s 2015. And it's two days until every other Elodie dies.
(Str4ng3r) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
What are you talking about? What the fuck do you mean it’s 2015?
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
Who are you??
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 8/7/20██ to (xpp0q)
I’m sorry, you’ll just have to trust me. I’m Elodie Carter. A different one. Your Elly didn’t get to be a larger part of the research program but I did. And I don’t have a lot of time, so I’m just going to have to be blunt: I’m not from your universe. The research we were doing was about investigating if parallel realities existed - or at least that’s what I was told. That was a lie, they were already certain of it. This whole time, they’ve actually been working making an “absolute timeline,” which would destroy all the others.
(CanaryAnne_) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
That’s… so we’re saying multiverse theory is correct?
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 8/7/20██ to (CanaryAnne_)
Doesn’t it make sense to what you’ve been seeing? A bunch of versions of the same person impossibly experiencing different things?
(xpp0q) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
Hold on, if all this is true, why is your universe wanting to destroy all of the others?
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 8/7/20██ to (xpp0q)
We don’t want to, we just discovered that we can, like you guys did. We realized that it's theoretically possible for a timeline to be made "absolute," as in turned into the one, true timeline which cancels out all the rest. And because we found out that it's possible, that meant anyone else could do it at any time. And the only way to prevent us from taking the blow is by being the first to do it.
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
What does this have to do with us? Like, specifically you and me?
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 8/7/20██ to (Elly_Carter94)
You guys were the first. Not to make your universe absolute, since obviously I’m here right now, but the first to make a person absolute. Something becoming absolute means that there only can exist one across all universes. Whatever accident happened in your lab on the 9th, it turned you into an absolute being, and as a result every other Elodie can't exist after that.
(xpp0q) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
So why and how are you here to tell us this right now?
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 8/7/20██ to (xpp0q)
I’ve gone under the radar using the other researchers’ equipment to try and warn all the others, I guess our timelines are slightly staggered meaning my now is your before. But more importantly, we need this business to stop. If we can coordinate everyone, maybe we can agree that NOBODY has to pursue an absolute timeline. If any of the universes does it, they’ll ensure their own survival, but cause the deaths of literal infinite others. Most universes are similar enough to have some form of the internet, so I’ve been trying to bridge them. And I think it’s working, since you guys are seeing posts from other timelines. Unfortunately, that’s also how I learned that I think it’s over for me soon.
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
Okay, that… Thank you. I mean really, thank you so much. I will try to continue what you have going here. I’m so, so sorry that it happened this way.
(CanaryAnne_) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
Yes, thank you. I don’t know how anyone is gonna believe us, but… We’ll try.
(Str4ng3r) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
Yeah, me too. It’s definitely crazy, but I think if your internet shit works even a little bit then we’ll start to amass more evidence.
(xpp0q) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
Same here. Is there anything else you want from us?
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 8/7/20██ to (xpp0q)
Just- Elodie, can you take care of Amber? I know it’s a different one and you’re doing it already, but I feel so awful having to leave her all alone. Just help her out. I don’t know what mine is going to do, but you can help yours. Will you do that?
(Elly_Carter94) Replied on 8/7/2023 to (Elo_Cart)
Of course. I promise I’ll take care of her, and I promise that yours will turn out alright. We can take it from here, your work is done. Go spend time with her. If you’re the same as me, then that’s probably all that’s on your mind right now.
(Elo_Cart) Replied on 9/7/20██ to (Elly_Carter94)
Ok. Thank you. Goodbye.

Are your gb camera pics made using a plain cart or a modified one that can use lenses? We've been thinking about getting one ourselves and it looks like there's a fairly easy and fully reversible shell mod (camera+ from 2BitToys) to add lense compatibility and im curious about your thoughts on it
my pics are from a totally plain gb camera, no mods. i might look into that eventually when i feel like investing into lenses and extra carts eventually

Making-You-In-Spore's Editor Mod List
not mods, but highly recommended for enhanced playing experience
4GB patch - Tutorial - patches spore [and other 32bit programs] to be able to use 4gb of RAM. recommended if playing a highly modded copy, and makes the game more stable.
Reshade & ReSpore - post-processing injector & shader that alters the appearance of spore, giving it more detailed shading and vibrant colors. i use this for gameplay and screenshots. runs on GPU power, so excellent if you have a strong graphics card
HD graphics fix - this doesn't actually seem to work for my copy, but it alters the textures of base spore to be more high-quality.
mods that are absolute must-haves
these mods are ones that i use in almost every creation, and add a lot of QoL to the editors. if i forget a mod in a creature png i post, it will be one of these.
Dark injection - THE spore mod. it's likely a lot of other mods you'll download will mesh well with dark injection. you can turn off whatever you don't want to use through the installer.
Universal Property Enhancer - a library mod that many other mods require
The Smoother - a useful tool for building muscles and smoothing out your creatures' bodies
Enhanced Color Picker - a requirement for super detailed creations, enables hexcode color picking and color wheel selection beyond normal limits of spore
[UPE] Infinite Part Scaling - allows scaling of parts near-infinitely, beyond the limits of the original game
Project Skyncraft - adds new creature skinpaints
Unshackled - adds nodes and limbs for creating custom wings, heads, hands, etc. a little bit unstable, i mostly use this for wings.
Spore Stacker - allows stacking of any part
Subtle Rotations - reduces part rotation snapping
Advanced CE - adds building editor manipulators to the creature editor
Every Part Costs Nothing - self explanatory
Rotate Anything - lets you rotate anything, including feet and hands
Advanced Creature Paint - allows for individual coloring of parts on a creature, like in the building and vehicle editors
Ambient Occlusion Disabler - removes baked-on shadows for creatures
Delta Paints - adds new skinpaints
Valla's Skinpaint Switcheroo - adds duplicates of all vanilla, C&C, and GA creature coat and detail skinpaints into their opposite category
Valla's Vanilla Style Parts - adds several parts which mimic the vanilla style
Delimbiter - increases the amount you can scale limb parts, and allows for more crazy movements of certain limb parts
test drive related mods
these mods are not required to download the creatures i post, but are recommended for the test drive.
No More Creature Editor Animations - turns off the animations that play when you add eyes, mouth, feet/hands, etc
Sevan's TF2 editor animations - adds multiple animations from tf2 into the creature test drive.
Mx3's Dance Animations - adds a multitude of dance animations into the creature test drive.
Tenebris's Creature Test Drive Animations - adds many animations from within the game to the creature test drive.
EditorBG - adds extra editor backgrounds
Ramone Kemono's MMD Drag Ball - high-effort dance mod complete with special effects and a reverse engineered camera system
part mods
these mods add parts to the editors.
DroneParts 2017 - adds many mechanical and polygonal parts useful for machine creatures, i like to use it for building clothes and markings.
New Drone Parts - a sequel to droneparts 2017, compatible with the old version. install both at the same time if you want to be able to use creatures from the old droneparts mod.
Himeric Engine - adds horror-themed parts to the creature editor.
Spore Resurrection Next Steps - adds a few parts to the creature editor and several new textures to the building and vehicle editors.
Dinosaur Parts - adds parts based on dinosaurs and other animals. mostly heads.
Strange And Beautiful - a now-discontinued, reuploaded mod that adds unusual and unique parts to the creature editor
Bionicle parts - adds a few bionicle pieces to the creature editor
Little Box Of Horrors - adds many parts with an overall horror theme. some are animated.
Pandora's Toolbox [1.0] - adds a multitude of basic shapes and polygons to build with
Replicant - adds non-textured animating parts and non-animating parts in a separate tab. good for if you want to use hands, limbs, etc without them animating or adding stats
Armoured And Dangerous - adds a few high detail mechanical looking parts.
Wordsmith 2.1 - adds letters to the creature, building, and vehicle editors
Kaiju parts - adds several parts based on popular kaiju
Organic Help - adds many membrane pieces to the creature editor, for creating wing webbing among other things
Project: Mad Mannequins - adds many human body based parts. and a horse for some reason
A Mouth For All Seasons - adds alternate versions of all vanilla mouths [and all unused cell mouths] with alternate diets

Hello, can u please read sohee personality and his ideal type or maybe what kind of person is compatible with him? Thank you!
Sohee's personality reading
One thing at a time haha I'll do his personality reading for now. I don't know who he is except for his group, so as usual take this with a grain of salt. It would be fun to know how accurate this is!
Disclaimer:
My readings are made for fun and you should read them for fun too. So don't take them seriously.
Tumblr media
Cards: rev the hermit, rev fool, high priestess
He isn't the most sociable person, he might have the tendency to withdraw.
It might be similar to what people close to Hoshi or Dahyun said about them: they're very engaging on camera, but get exhausted by it and tend to be very quiet or loners off-camera.
The hermit reversed might also imply a lack of self-reflection as well as a tendency to not listen to others. It's a card that indicates escapism and fear of dealing with your own limitations and face the real world.
In other words, he might be the type to bottle up his feelings or he might isolate himself if his mental health isn't at his best.
He might be a bit naive, he trusts too much others or people took advantage of him. Maybe be's the type of person that can't say no and some people around him used this to their advantage to ask him favors, use his stuff etc.
Probably he isn't much of a planner? He might not have a very clear idea about his future, he's more focused on the present.
He always seems calm and relaxed, as if nothing truly fazes him.
He's empathetic and observant, I'd say he's a nice talker and decent at human relations.
He isn't excessive in his behavior or too out there, but this doesn't make him seem too shy or awkward though. He's probably ok speaking in front of an audience, if he's asked to.
He seems a chill dude overall, he wants to seem nice and he's comfortable around people, but he really needs some alone time to recharge. He might be part of the club of idols that have a bright stage persona, but who prefer a quiet and calm life off-stage.
I think this ambivalence might give him a certain mysterious aura, it's possible he isn't really open about his thoughts/feelings. He really gives me Dahyun vibes tbh.

Austin Butler/ future spouse reading
This reading was done 11/4
1: Where are they now?
Pantha oracle: withdrawal/relaxation/third wheel
Modern Lenormand deck, the mice/the heart/the book, the ship/ the ring/the house, the anchor/the fox/the bouquet
Lenormand is all about the combinations, they read like a sentence, I this case I read it as three sentences.
Constant doubts whether we're truly loved/To feel too little love, or feel loved too little.
A conflict between thinking and feeling.
Dwindling love.
To be an easy victim for being short-changed or used because of being too soft.
Commitment to something means that changes have to be made.
A predictable departure; it's predictable that a person won't stay/commit.
Conflict between a person who is committed and another person who isn't.
To have a habit of leaving.
To plan a change.
To stop, take a break
To hold on to something selfishly, out of self-interest.
To be cautious about letting someone hold on to you or confine you too much.
To be wary of settling down, tying oneself down.
Friendliness as self-defence.
Distrust of compliments; to not trust someone's kindness.
Be cautious of being too generous!
I feel Austin's relationship is going to dwindle down in future . I do not feel Kaia is his future spouse. He's very sweet, but seems to be insecure. His insecurity could drive him away. He's also overly friendly because he is a shy man, but that's kind of draining.
As for his future spouse someone has taken advantage of this person in the past. I don't think they are in a healthy relationship at the moment. They may be wary of settling down at the moment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Austin's past/future spouse past
From the light shadow tarot:
Austin: 7 of pentacles/six of wands
If things go fine, he feels really good and he is really trying to give the love his lover deserves. He really is trying to make his present relationship work, he cares for his partner
future spouse: ace of pentacles/four of wands
They seem to have to take care of themselves, they're better at caring for someone else. But on meeting Austin they will recognize immediately their bond is special.
Tumblr media
3. First impression from Austin of the future spouse:
8 of swords (feeling trapped, blind to the truth, self-inflicting
He seems to deny that the relationship he's in now, probably has run its course, or he doesn't want to see they're not compatible. If things go fine, he feels really good and he is really trying to give the love his lover deserves. He seems blind to the fact that this is not working, but his eyes will be opened as soon as he meets his future spouse. I have a feeling he will fall hard and fast.
4. First impression from the future spouse of Austin
7 of cups reversed (lack of options, avoiding issues, reality check)
They seem to think what they have now is real love, but they are spending a great deal of time trying to make their lover happy, compromising their true self. When they will meet Austin, they will immediately know they have found someone special for them.
Tumblr media
5. Austin's feelings for his future spouse/ future spouse feelings for Austin
the love angels oracle cards: (top is Austin/bottom ft sp)
different paths/patience/true love
now is not the time for Austin. He has to deal with some things first in order to open up for the right person. He will in the end, when the timing is right.
be honest/pay attention to red flags/distance
They really have to 'coach' Austin to show bits of himself I feel he's not so easy in opening up. They have to pay attention to not losing connection, communicate with each other. They will be fine if they are. There may be a separation period, but they will come back together and eventually they will have a beautiful bond.
Tumblr media
6. How will they meet?
situation love oracle deck: sunglasses/picture/camera
ft sp maybe a model or someone in the same line of work as Austin, it won't be someone like a teacher or a nurse, but someone in the spotlight like him.
7. when will they meet?
from the mystical moon oracle: timing is pushed back due to blockages/let it be a mystery
This person is probably not in Austin's life right now, or he doesn't consider them as a possibility. I think he needs more time to grow still. But as I said before: timing is really hard in tarot, so I'm not surprised the answer is a vague one.
Tumblr media
8. their connection
Lovers oracle: trust/ reflection/ criticism
Island time wellness love oracle cards: love call/addiction
yin yang oracle: separation/longing, avoidance/stalemate
When they get together they will have an open and good relationship. They will trust each other and think about how they are going to say things to each other. They can both be critical, but it will be constructive. At the moment, Austin's relationship is more like a safe option for him, no hassle, no real worries, comfortable, in a way addictive because he doesn't have know anything else.
Tumblr media
9. ft spouse zodiac sign:
Air sign: might be a gemini/libra/aquarius
Tumblr media
10. challenges
from the blocks to love oracle and the hidden truth oracle: see picture below
Austin seems to be an introvert and rather shy. Bit insecure in love. He has to believe he's worth it to be loved. The ft spouse seems to be someone who understands their connection right away and will encourage Austin to open up.
Tumblr media
11. description of the ft. sp.

Types of Mobile Application Testing You Shouldn’t Ignore
Tumblr media
Mobile applications are no longer just an extension of your business—they are your business. But delivering a smooth, secure, and seamless mobile experience is anything but simple. In our last blog, we dove into the Top 10 Mobile Application Testing Challenges, uncovering the critical roadblocks QA teams face. Today, we take that conversation forward—not with problems, but with solutions.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the types of mobile testing every QA strategy must cover—from functional to non-functional testing layers. Whether you're launching a mobile banking app or a fitness tracker, understanding these testing types isn't optional—it’s mission-critical.
Let’s break it down.
1. Functional Testing – Ensuring Core Features Work
Functional testing validates what the app is supposed to do. From login workflows to payment processing, this is where testers ensure the app behaves as expected across different devices and OS versions.
Key Checks:
User authentication
Input validations
Data synchronization
Business logic rules
Tools: ✅ Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, TestComplete
2. UI/UX Testing – Validating the Experience, Not Just the Interface
Functional correctness alone doesn’t win user loyalty—intuitive design and responsive UI do. UI/UX testing ensures visual consistency, layout alignment, touch responsiveness, and seamless navigation.
Key Focus Areas:
Usability across screen sizes
Consistent design patterns
Accessibility and responsiveness
Tools: ✅ Applitools, TestFairy, Kobiton, Selenium (mobile view)
3. Performance Testing – Apps That Don’t Lag Under Pressure
Nobody tolerates sluggish apps. Performance testing checks how your app behaves under real-world loads—fast, stable, and resource-efficient.
Performance Metrics:
Load time and response time
CPU, memory, and battery consumption
App start-up time under stress
Tools: ✅ JMeter, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Gatling, k6
4. Security Testing – Fortifying Mobile Data and Access
With rising data breaches, security testing is non-negotiable. This type focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, encryption weaknesses, and authorization flaws.
Key Validations:
Secure data storage and transmission
Authentication and session management
Protection against reverse engineering
Tools: ✅ OWASP ZAP, MobSF, Burp Suite, Veracode Mobile
5. Compatibility Testing – One App, Many Environments
Your app needs to behave consistently across a jungle of devices, screen sizes, and OS versions. Compatibility testing ensures seamless operation on this fragmented landscape.
Test Areas:
OS version compatibility (iOS/Android)
Screen resolution and form factor
Hardware-level behaviors (camera, sensors)
Tools: ✅ BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Kobiton, AWS Device Farm
6. Localization Testing – Speak the User’s Language
If your app serves a global user base, localization testing ensures language, region, currency, and cultural elements are spot-on.
Checks Include:
Accurate translation and formatting
Layout adjustments for right-to-left languages
Region-specific compliance
Tools: ✅ Globalyzer, Applanga, Phrase, Lokalise
7. Installation & Update Testing – Seamless Delivery Across the Lifecycle
A good app experience starts even before launch. Installation testing validates how your app is downloaded, installed, updated, and uninstalled across environments.
Must-Test Scenarios:
Clean install and reinstall
Incremental and forced updates
Error handling during network disruptions
Tools: ✅ ADB (Android Debug Bridge), Fastlane, Firebase Test Lab
8. Non-Functional Testing – The Often-Ignored Backbone
Beyond functional testing lies a category many teams overlook—non-functional testing, which includes performance, usability, scalability, recovery, and more.
Why It Matters: These tests define how the app behaves under the hood. Even if your app works, poor memory usage, slow load, or awkward recovery from a crash can lead to uninstalls and bad reviews.
Conclusion: Covering All Bases with a Strategic Mindset
Every type of mobile application testing—from functional vs non-functional to UX and localization—plays a distinct role in ensuring product quality. Ignoring even one can cost you user trust and business impact. Mature testing is not about checking boxes—it’s about thinking holistically.
At Testrig Technologies, we specialize in delivering end-to-end mobile application testing services that go beyond surface-level validations. Whether you're just launching or scaling across global markets, we help ensure your mobile app performs flawlessly across every user touchpoint.
