im still going fucking insane about my last tags

there's NO possible way of victim not seeing something that was streamed on alans channel and respectively streamed in the outernet. its canon that avm original was streamed there. even if it wasnt every episode of avam it is still there. victim lives there and knows what outernet has (and most likely knows about oranges and cg existence. not their powers but existence from at least an avm original episode)

and given that vic learned about chosen and that he was wanted. that victim KNEW about their existence and chased after them. that he had seen something that made him realize that chosen inherently had ties with alan??

one of my thoughts is that only specific stuff is accessible to outernet in canon. maybe not even the whole content of vids. (though the avm original was sixteen minutes and in "the king" it is seen that the video streamed is also sixteen minutes) which could explain how victim only knew a small bit of stuff and didnt just see the a bit of a whole thirty minute willingly and went "well thats all i gotta know about it".

its likely victim accessed chosen(and possibly dark) videos streamed and connected the dots by recognizing alan, similar methods of torturing chosen and the interface of alans pc.

(since its canon victims torture is on youtube and possibly chosens its kinda fucked if they accessed it as well. which perhaps made them even more vengeful)

thought. was showdown something that was streamed or something that was uploaded on youtube? at least the beginning of it?? and victim knew only bits of it???. it could be possible that victim knew about chosen&dark place of living and darks technology. from just bits of information and his company couldve investigated it? but ultimately didnt find chosen nor dark there. and therefore placed a damn bounty on chosen. and they mightve used leftover darks technology there for their own shit. victim knowing about darks tech and possibly small pieces of the showdown could also be explained that he didnt seem to mind the events taken before yellow coded the cursor into the outernet when going through chosens memory. but it does make me think whether victim knew that the cg went back to the pc and therefore didnt place wanted posters of them ??? did he know about darks death and therefore didnt place wanted posters of dark?? wouldnt he try any means to find how to get to alan? is it possible that only the cursor and tscs awakening parts of the showdown video were erased and vic, again, wanted to see more to it (i had a thought that he couldve known what is up with the showdown due to having surveillance technology but im doubting it because chosen and dark lived really secludedly from the city).

but in case the showdown was somewhat seen? by other sticks? and vic couldve known about darks and chosen terror shit from other sticks/a news outlet? oh my god i just realized something

so theres a comic about me wondering how did sticks treat chosens&dark terror in the internet and possibly outernet too. that dark blasted a whole fucking beam in the sky near the stickcity and it wasnt unable to be seen. could victim see that???? could he connect the dots that it was hollowheads power??

the rocket logo. dude. i JUST THOUGHT about it yesterday. and it made so much sense to me

my possible thought was. that victim did escape alanspc through the ip/pc sky. somewhat. in one way or another. and it was the reason why a rocket was picked as the corporations logo.

a rocket is something that is able to literally fly to the sky. to access the higher parts of the world. the ip/sky part of it that had a wormhole to alan in it. the person victim chased after.

and given that rocketcorp specializes on tech. another reason to it besides victims knowledge and ability to use it before and deciding to bring it into the outernet and devote a whole company to it. a rocket is literally something that is made of technology. and since they had to chose a logo that symbolizes tech

victim chose something that represented his goal.

fucking insane about it

i basically treat it as a base for my theories that victim established/reformed a corporation that used internet technologies he himself brought into the outernet (in one way or another). but his company is widely known as a regular tech company that produces all different kinds of it. including domestic stuff like tvs and surveillance cameras and also weapons. but due to technology and digital stuff literally forming the internet and outernet itself they also act as some force in the outernet that upkeeps and protects its citizens. since theyre the only ones with that kind of power

and all these projects that cover many areas of technology that are made by them are used to cover their shady underground shit like. the box and torture and victims true goal (which i believe he could be secret about even to his mercs and colleagues)

and that the point of victim bringing internet technology there. his whole plan of revenge.

it is done in order to protect his kind from something that he experienced. giving them a mean to defend themselves. ESPECIALLY after knowing cursors of users can be manifested in the outernet and damage sticks.

and he is the kind to be ruthless about it if it means creating safety. something he lacked.

(violence and oppression cant be solved with peaceful talks kind of mentality)

im fucking INSANE about this right NOW.

also. another thought

giving the possibility that victim "fell down" from the ip/sky. him providing the internet with basically "divine power" that regular kind of outernet sticks didnt have. him trying to protect outernet sticks from danger and death.

makes the interpretation of victim with angelic/halo symbolism in the fandom so much more sense. and so fucking amazing. oh my god i NEED to make something about this idea.

tom you opened a whole different dimension to my thinking and it fills in the holes ive thought about. im going to be so fucking insane and annoying about this.

Summary/Synopsis:

Imagine sitting at your desk, writing the ending of your own book. When all of the sudden you wake up in a world that you literally made! Goodness this is an author’s wet dream! At least that’s what Alan is supposed to feel, until he remembers what kind of person “Alan” is in his story….

Where Alan Becker, the author of Animation vs Animator and his standalone Animation vs Minecraft (kudos to Mojang) was suddenly sucked in his own book, now he finds himself in place of his self insert character named “Alan”.... He’s supposed to be glad because he’s meeting his own creations (his own characters! Can you believe that?!), until he remembered he’s the “supposed” villain of the story.

Oh well, he can change things up right?

Ugh, right…. He is the villain, and being a villain means it’s hard to gain your character's trust (why did he even write his character as a villain?......a right because he couldn't think of any other villain, so naturally he wrote himself as one.... ugh).

LORE:

“Alan” in this AU is the villain, the creator of victim, The Chosen One, The Dark Lord and The Second Coming: The Chosen One’s Return. He was the worst out of the worst, he only thought of them as some play toy. Telling them what to do, and such. He was the fucking worst, at least to their point of view…. Actually, scratch that, he was the worst to everyone’s eyes. Even the Color Gang hates Alan (and somehow, they were the “chillest” out of them all). They were so used to Alan treating them like dirt at this point. Then all of the sudden he’s all kind now? What games is he playing?

Alan Becker is just an author, a really well-known author that created Animator vs Animation, originally a story he created as a teen then he tweaked it a little bit when he got older (his writing was atrocious, it clearly needed some work). But nevertheless, he was proud of his work, he even gained a fandom because of it. Met a lot of people too, and friends too! As a child, he always wanted friends on his own computer, always fantasizing how he would be with them and how fun it would be. So naturally he made a story, and that story became a sensation years later. He really should be thankful for his family and friends for giving him a push to actually publish it. After losing his interest in drawing (he clearly was not improving) he decided to just hone his writing skills better, after all a lot had said he was better at writing than drawing. And somehow, he’s glad he actually continued it. So, tell him, why the fuck did he suddenly wake up in his own story?!?! Not only that, but he also has no face?! Oh god he has no face (actually it was his fault for not really going in depth on how “Alan” looks like, now he suffered the consequence of losing his own face).

Now he's stuck as his own self insert character, forced to play a villain role, before deciding, fuck it and fed his characters kindness and love, because for the life of him he cannot act like an asshole; he feels too bad............ Naturally, he also knew how the story would end, and it won't end on a good note. So thankfully, acting kind will MOST PROBABLY change their ending... Hopefully, oh god out of all books he gets sucked into, it's his own book which probably has so many plot holes?! Someone please save him now!!!

Alan Becker Theory: How Victim Returned

Ok so this is my first real Tumblr post, but basically I want to talk about the Animator vs. Animation series and its first and now most recent villain: Victim. More specifically, how he "returned" after seemingly being killed by the Animator at the end of his first appearance.

When we first saw Victim in AVA 1, he was deleted by the Animator. He closed the program without saving changes, without saving Victim onto anything, thus removing him from existence. Something like that seems pretty hard to come back from...

...but, 17 years later, he has come back without any scratch (besides turning gray).

Now, it's not the first time a character survived being deleted, but none of the previous examples are similar to Victim.

Orange survived being deleted by Task Manager and then stabbed by the Dark Lord's Vira-Blades, but he's clearly special in a way: from knowing a lot since creation to having superpowers that not even he knows of (until he saw a video of him killing a guy with them). He's far from a normal stick figure.

The Chosen One survived being hit by several code-erasing blades, but he's a superpowered being compared to the completely normal Victim.

Herobrine survived being deleted with the rest of Minecraft, somehow resurrecting several years later, but he's not even a stick figure, and another superpowered being that's arguably even weirder then Chosen.

So, how does the completely normal, powerless Victim survive being deleted with no superpowers or anything special about him?

It's simple. He didn't.

I'm not saying that Grey Dude is actually a burnt Dark or something, that was debunked and never made sense anyway. What I'm suggesting is that the AVA 6 Victim is not the Victim. Rather, he's a copy.

... well, a better word to use is recording.

Animation VS YouTube was always a weird entry, in my opinion. It somehow makes every entry in the series an actual video in-universe, it somewhat breaks continuity by having the Minecraft icon on the task bar, and it just gets weirder every time it returns (such as that one scene in Showdown). But, I think AVA 6 made it really important in hindsight.

While fighting YouTube, Green and Orange encounter a recording of the first AVA 1 and witness Victim's birth. In the climax, Green defeats YouTube by putting himself inside a video and destroying it from the inside, thus destroying the website's sentient avatar.

I think Victim came back in a similar way. Thanks to the Animator posting AVA 1 on numerous websites and it being reposted countless times, there are countless videos of Victim: thus, countless opportunities for a Victim recording to escape a similar way Green did. The AVA 6 Victim - let's call him Vic - is one of those: a recording that came to life and broke out. He's not the true Victim, just evidence that he once existed, but he has his memories and will continue his fight with the Animator.

But, there's an issue: Green entered a brand new video, he didn't record himself. A clear difference. Which is why I think Vic didn't escape his video by himself. Someone freed him. But, who?

Well, think about it. Who is Vic close to? Who is special and gets attention from IRL Alan, compared to the others? Who has the most important role in AVA 6, aside from the hollow-heads and RYGB?

Who does Vic trust so much, he puts his own life in their hands when entering the Box?

I think the Glasses Guy - let's call him Agent cause that's the best nickname I've seen - is the one who freed Vic. It would explain why Vic would trust him so much or why he'd get so much attention besides just "the villain's right hand who is badass".

I also think that Vic's trust in Agent is what will fuck him over in the end. That he will not be the final villain of AVA 6.

If you watch The Box closely, you'll see Vic is saved on the Box's files. Nothing special or surprising, right? I mean, he's in the Box, of course he'd be saved as part of it. But... Chosen is not.

In fact, none of the items on the list are inside the Box, aside from Vic. Not the sword, not the chains, not anything. But, they can still be summoned. Which means that the Box doesn't work like "You go inside it, you are part of its files": You need to be saved onto it, and once that happens, you can be summoned whenever one wants, even when you're not inside the Box. What does that mean?

That, at any point in time, Agent can clone Vic hundreds of times, as many as he needs. That Vic is replaceable.

I think that's the big twist of AVA 6: Vic will be killed by Agent sooner than anyone would think, allowing Agent to become the true villain and create a Vic Army. What is Agent's motive? Why did he bring back Vic, only to plan to kill him when he's no longer needed? Frankly, I have no idea. We don't know enough about him to speculate his motives. But, I know one thing:

Vic cannot escape who he is. That, behind the different color and the fancy company and the fact he's but a copy of the real deal, he is still Victim. And who is Victim?

A stick figure who was mistreated, killed and forgotten by a man with animation tools.

!! STORY UNDER CUT !!

A beeping. An incessant, annoying beeping disturbed Noogai’s slumber. But it wasn’t actually slumber–it was more of a lucid sleep. He was still aware of the cheap-leather couch latching itself to his skin, aware of how slightly cold and sweaty the skin will be after he gets up. He was still aware of the time, albeit going a lot faster than it usually would. Still aware of the fact that he wasn’t letting himself fall asleep. Couldn’t would be a better word.

Oh, and he was especially aware of the beeping.

Noogai groaned as he lifted his head slightly, accidentally-yet-also-sort-of-purposely pushed his phone off the couch as heard the rubber dunk it made when hitting the wood floors. He reached down and searched for it, found it, turned down the volume. He reached his free hand over to the side table and grasped for his blocky glasses that always drew Second’s attention away from his midday nap.

He put them on and suddenly the world wasn’t bleary and didn’t look like it was weaving itself together. He officially turned the alarm off after being unblinded. A forced cough from behind made him look around, making eye contact with the Dark Lord himself.

“Hi papa!” Dark sat with his legs handing over the topside of the couch, lightly swinging before sliding down to regular couch-sitting height.

“Dark. Hello. You didn’t sleep last night, did you?”

“No. The dollies were telling me a story about this girl who ran away from home and found a dead body. It was cool. Happy birthday!”

“Oh. Well, thank you.” We’ll escape this place one day. We’ll escape with Second and we’ll get you help, Dark. “It’s the eighteenth already?”

“Vicky reminded me. And Choo-Choo. I think he’s still sleeping. I think he slept in a box last night. I heard him crying. He interrupted my story. That wasn’t nice. The dollies weren’t happy.”

Noogai stood, ruffling Dark’s already messied hair, and started towards Dark and Chosen’s room. Dark jumped off the couch, following his father before running ahead. Noogai looked in the room, seeing Dark standing on tippy-toes, peering down into a stray cardboard box. He heard quiet and soft sobs escaping through the open top.

“Chosen?” Noogai walked closer to the box, leaning down and finding a child, blackened hair, curled in on himself on one side of the box. “Oh, Cho.” Noogai reached down and lifted the child into arms, Chosen’s head automatically hiding in the crook of Noogai’s neck.

Noogai rubbed at Chosen’s back for a few minutes, just until he stopped crying. He noticed Chosen’s bed was made, telling him that Chosen didn’t sleep in it last night. He hadn’t slept in his bed ever since Second had gone missing.

Chosen looked Noogai in the eye, scratching at his eyebags, making them more red. He pointed to the door and scrambled out of his fathers arms. Noogai let him down easily, but Chosen gripped onto his sleeve. He dragged Noogai with little effort back towards the door, Dark taking his other sleeve, leading Noogai in the same direction. “Kids, please.”

“We have a gift!” Dark’s smile seemed to brighten. It would’ve been more of a happy scene if it didn’t emphasize just how little sleep he seemed to be getting.

“Kids, I just woke up…”

“It’s already the afternoon.” Dark pouted, Chosen whined. “We have a present. Vicky made it! Come on, come on!” Dark pulled harder and Noogai went with it, willing himself to keep an open mind.

Dark and Chosen dragged Noogai through the living room, equipped with the couch and Noogai’s phone, to the kitchen, where Victim stood on a stool crying. Dark and Chosen let go as Noogai rushed over to Victim.

“Vic? Vic, what happened?”

Victim looked at his father, pouting and whining, seemingly crying harder at the sight of his dad.

“I just wanted you to have a nice birthday!” Victim started, crying harder as Noogai enveloped him in a hug.

“Vic…”

“No! B-because you’re always stressed and you don’t get a lot of sleep at night and now Second’s missing and I just wanted you to have one single day where you don’t have to be stressed and you–and we… we could eat cake a-and… be a family!”

Victim sobbed into Noogai’s chest. Only now does Noogai register how messy his kitchen is: a cake pan with a burnt cake (Noogai only assumed it was supposed to be a cake) sat on the counter, surrounded by black crumbs of burnt cake; silverware of different kinds were unorganized on the counter; there was dirty water in the sink from God-knows-where; and cleaning supplies was scattered all over the floor. It seemed like Victim knew what he was getting himself into.

“I couldn’t get the oven to work.” Victim wiped at his nose.

“Oh, Vicky… that’s alright. I don’t need anything for my birthday, I’m happy as is.” He knew that Victim knew that was a lie. Noogai let go of Victim, putting the cake pan in the sink, cowering away from the suspicious filthy water. Victim sat on the stool, hunching over himself. Noogai could tell he felt guilty. “Hey, Vicky, how about you help me clean up around here? Dark, Chosen, you two can help too. We can get this done much faster if we work together.”

“But–” Victim perked his head up, ready for an argument.

“No, no buts. We’re all gonna calm down and we’re all gonna clean.” Victim silently hopped down from his stool, quickly grabbing a dustpan and hand broom and starting with the crumbs that fell on the ground. Noogai picked a Lysol bottle from the supplies and handed it to Chosen. “You two can get the counters; you know where the stools are.”

Noogai began to sweep the extra burnt crumbs towards the sink, watching them plop in and viewing his reflection in the water. At least the reflection he could see; the water was really, really, dirty.

Cleaning didn’t take long. It didn’t take long because Noogai was doing most of the work. Not that he didn’t mind teaching his kids how to clean, but they were really toying with his patience today.

Now, everyone was sitting outside on the porch. Apparently, it had rained earlier, as the grass and wood of the deck was damp, moist. It took every ounce of the patience Noogai had left over from the day to convince Dark not to go running in the puddles and making a mess of himself and his clothes.

Victim leaned against Noogai’s arm, Chosen in his lap, Dark fidgeting with his sleeve. Chosen seemed to be zoning out, eyes locked yet unlocked on a button on Noogai’s jacket.

“Uhm, papa?” Victim piped up, disturbing the silence between the four. “What… What do you want for your birthday? I’ll get it for you next year, I promise I will, I’ll make up for this year! I’m sorry!” Victim looked like he was about to start crying again. Noogai stroked his hand from Victim’s head to his back, gently, soothing the child as he hugged his fathers arm. He took his hand away from Dark, much to the annoyance of the young child, and reached into his pants pocket, pulling out his wallet. He opened it and searched for a second or two for a picture. “Oh.”

The picture was the first picture ever taken of Second, after he was just made. He was crying, fussy, biting at Noogai every time he tried to help the small baby. Orange locks were covering his head, almost completely covering his eye sockets. Small tears spilling out as Noogai tried his best to comfort him. Somehow, Noogai had managed to swaddle the child in a soft blanket, which seemed to calm him down some–make him a little drowsy, even.

“Papa? Mm… I don’t think I can find him. I’m sorry.”

Noogai kissed Victim’s forehead. They would escape this place someday.

Not today, though.

Hello, I'm Aedyn (she/her)!!!! I am a minor but idc abt nsfw or adult blogs interacting. My pfp is my Hollow Knight oc bc I'm working on my persona. My Carrd is also a work in progress.

I mostly post HK drawings, but I do lots of doodling during the day and post too. I want to post more digital stuff but my Clip Studio Paint is being mean again and I can't save pieces, so...

Because I feel crazy just having them rattle in my head, here is a list of song animatics I would do if I had the knowledge of how to do it in the first place and then the skill required

Fallen Kingdom (Minecraft parody) for Her Imperious Condescension from Homestuck. Been rattling in my brain for a long time. The original song as opposed to the parody could work too, but I grew up more familiar with the parody and have specific Thoughts of scenes that use the minecraft lyrics. Would span her reign over Alternia, her being boxed into the control of Doc Scratch and Lord English, her hiding away on Earth as Betty Crocker, and up to the bad end of the original timeline vs. after John's retcon. God I would love to have this one finally be real.

Two Birds on a Wire for Naruto and Sasuke following them over the course of their series. Yes Two Birds on a Wire is The animatic song and yes I found one (only one surprisingly) person has already done it, but I have my own ideas in my head that rattle extremely loudly every now and again.

Interlude IV for an interaction between the MC and V from Mystic Messenger regarding Ray and Rika after the events of V's route

Also a Mystic Messenger idea, Here Before with the lyrics focusing on Unknown, the MC, and 707 in that order. (there's honestly a lot of Mystic Messenger ones I'd like to do but these two rattle in my head the most as actual ideas rather than just feelings)

Don't You Dare Make Me Fall in Love With You for Misato Katsuragi towards Ryoji Kaji from Evangelion. I feel like it really lines up well with their relationship over the first version/timeline of the series. It's the only version I'm willing to subject my heart to so far so I'm not sure if it would be difficult to hold up in the rest of the narrative or if it'd spurn more ideas and make this one rattle louder.

A short silly one, Bon Appetit by Tom Cardy for Rody Lamoree from Dead Plate, optionally with Vincent and Manon watching on with growing concern. This man burns pbj. You cannot convince me that he eats well.

The Chemical Worker's song for Still Wakes the Deep, first just focusing on the already horrible working conditions of the oil rig before encroaching into the unnatural horror that overtakes it in the game.

A Good Song Never Dies for Harry du Bois in Disco Elysium. I have some thoughts and ideas building already from what I've played so far and it just seems to fit with his personality.
