I made these works of art in honor of the late Neil Bonnett and decided to combinded them with the footage that inspired them.

I also decide to use some audio of one my favorite quotes to show his mindset ; I want show what kind of man was and how powerful the thrill of racing was for him.

PLA Mizumi - Return

It’s strange seeing older Ingo after all the Hero of Bombs stuff lol…I missed him ;u;

When I got back to Jubilife Village, I immediately ran over to Ingo, thinking that he’d have something to say, at least a “I see you have returned to this station safely.” Honestly hurt my feelings a little when he just repeated his regular dialogue, but knowing how very kind Ingo is, I figured maybe this was why. 🥲

Meanwhile, Mizumi isn’t sure why exactly she broke down on Ingo of all people - maybe it’s because he comes from the modern era like her, or maybe it’s because unlike Professor Laventon & Sasmu, Ingo didn’t openly express his relief (at first), giving her a blank slate to express her own feelings. Either way, Ingo knew how to respond, not unlike how he responded years ago for her descendant…🩵
