For the lovely @platypanthewriter, for their fic "Strangest" (this scene is adapted from one of my favorite scenes from chapter 20, where Steve has made a ... thing ... for Billy. Home-made presents are the best, right??)
ALSO. Fun fact, but Denise actually exists in real life. I love her. XD

Me, on the welcome desk in the library: Good morning, how are you today?
Customer: I have welcomed Jesus into my heart and so I am well today and every day.
Me, a little unnerved: Okay then! Is there something I can help you with?
Customer, digging around in his bag and pulling out an iPhone in a box: Unfortunately, Jesus can't help me with this fucking phone, so I came to the library.

You'll never guess the "strangest" prop that Simon Pegg has kept from his movie roles
Mission: Impossible star Simon Pegg has revealed the bizarre, oddly specific prop he kept from the set of another big franchise. The actor plays IMF tech expert turned-field agent Benji Dunn in the Mission: Impossible films, with the saga now returning for one, probably final, chapter in Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning. Answering fans’ questions on Reddit to promote the movie, Pegg…

I am filled with love every time someone brings me their cat and she’s named some variation of “Mama” or “Momma” or “MommyCat” or whatever because a lot of the time it means that that cat had kittens at one point and even though her babies were probably painfully cute and bouncy in the way all kittens inevitably are, Mama’s owner decided to keep her for themselves instead.
I just find it so sweet to think of all those kittens getting snapped up by adopters because they’re so cute but then their mom gets to have a happy ending too with a family that loves her just as much. It’s like a tiny little self-contained story of love every time I see a Mama on my schedule.

Sha Hualing: I think your husband is cheating on you
Luo Binghe: Keep speaking ill about my Shizun and I'll rip your tongue out!
Sha Hualing: Just listen for a second! I heard Mobei-Jun's weird husband serenading Lord Shen with a romantic song!
Luo Binghe: ...what song?
Earlier
Shang Qinghua, very off key: We're no strangers to love~ You know the rules and so do I!
Back to the present
Luo Binghe: Oh, that is apparently a normal human custom. Singing that song unexpectedly to another is akin to a minor act of war. Shizun will probably retaliate by standing motionless by Shang-shishu with his arms spread out
Sha Hualing: Human culture is so weird
