“Yeah, but I guess it’s not allowed at camp because it’s ‘mean spirited’.” Dion pouts.

“Wimps.”

“That’s what I said! But they put me on the bench so this is your fault!” Dion exclaims pointing at Neil.

“Dion.” Smith’s voice is even and Dion takes a deep breath before he smashes his face back into Smith’s neck.

“Tata, I want ice cream.” Dion mumbles.

Xander: No one. No one else knows this. Anya, and that's it! Willow: And Spike. Giles: Spike?! Spike knew? Xander: Only the basic stuff. You know, that Riley is a commando and Professor Walsh is in charge. Giles: Professor Walsh!? That fishwife!? Willow: You know, she's actually not that bad once you get to-- (sees Giles' look) So, th-the demon is probably a little late. W-we'll just, you know-- Giles: Oh, forget it. Go on. You two clear off. I'll just stay a little longer just in case.

Day 120: On Track

Day 120:

Another chapter, Another week. It's hard to believe it's already time for one of these again. Before we jump into anything though I just want to say that I hope you all had a good weekend, or at the very least were able to mellow out, and just take her easy at some point to just lower that stress level, and not have to adult for a while. If you didn't get that chance though, I hope it'll happen soon, since we all deserve the occasional break. That being said my weekend was as lame as usual, just writing and procrastinating but at least a fair amount of progress was made on my story, while next week I start a wedding photography class but that's a whole other set of worries. For now, we're just focusing on books here and with that said let's get into this week's goals.

Goal 1: Novel In Progress - As usual the primary goal this week is the current novel being developed. Over the weekend I set myself a goal to get to 32K words and I can happily say that I did, in fact, get to that point, which sort of lines me up well for this week. Basically what I have in mind is a copy of last week's goal. This week I'm aiming for 44K words by Friday. I failed this goal last week due to procrastination, so this week I'm determined to redeem myself and get it done. That being said the days that'll focus on this goal are Tuesday - Thursday since my day will likely be packed tomorrow.

Goal 2: Advertising - As always this goal's primary focus is on advertising The Thirty Pound Backpack & Blind Beauty. So far these stories are still at a crawl but I might plan a free promotion for them again in the near future so keep an eye out on here for more details on that to come. For now they're both $0.99 on Amazon and together there are over 600 pages of content, so it's definitely worth the price. Really they're cheaper than a fair amount of consumable things you can buy in convenience stories, so why not kill some time and maybe get lost in one of my stories.

Goal 3: TBD - So basically I'm not planning on actually going through with a third goal this week, but it's here because I've found that I give myself a small break during the day to just do whatever, and I'm considering using that time, in an effective way to get a little bit more done. So we'll see.

Anyways that's pretty much all that I have for today. Hopefully I can redeem myself and get to the 44K mark or even higher, until then though remember to take a break when you need to, and no matter what tomorrow will always be a different day.

Andrew Minyard has just signed on with the Atlanta Wolves so that he can support his twin and his twin's wife as they work on residency and get ready to welcome his nieces into the world. He may not give a shit about Exy, but it does pay well.

And Atlanta is paying him well enough to ignore the awkward tension of having to play with one of his college teammates again. Neil Josten has only gotten more interesting since the last time Andrew saw him when he'd graduated from Palmetto State.
