Being an important secretary, he's busy from sun rise to sun down doing all kinds of work ranging from making up schedules and helping organize appointments to stage crew stuff traveling and setting up shows- all while taking care of the group and his boss! He's also in my lore what i call a ministry "info-sec" or information secretary, in charge of important files and tech support that keeps them running- including helping others learn how.

It's an exhausting position but he's very good at what he does! He finds it rewarding to be such a big help to the group even if he doesn't get to be on stage with them...

When he's actually got his down time (which is hard because he's a workaholic who has to be FORCED to take breaks at times), shadow actually loves making art; he draws and paints! He's also a beginner trying to learn electric guitar with cheaper gear for it, getting some lessons now and then for it when they have time. Lounging and quietly using a computer otherwise is his go-to brain rot time lmao

he's quiet and sweet and always running around like a busy-bee when he's not hiding away from everyone!

POOR PINK OMG… seriously you don’t know how much i love this, like i could squeal about it forever like did spam just lead pink on or was there some emotion, the way you hc orange’s and spam’s relationship in DR is there like a reason my man was beheaded bc �� idk i’m just rambling ignore me

oh there was ABSOLUTELY some emotion! but i think a large part of what defines spamton as a character in both dr plain and also slasherrune is that feelings of sentimentality don't really seem to... STOP spamton at all from screwing over the people he loves/cares for. we see that in regular dr where he blames tenna for a LOT, he even takes his friendship ("friendship") with kris for granted and tries stealing their soul twice. spamton as a person has this fatal flaw that... if given the choice between companionship or power, he'll always go for power. and that's kinda what happened here. spamton loved pink... but he loved the idea of power more.

now, the Pink Ghost haunts the first floor living room, listening to an old record player, hoping that one day, his dearly beloved will come back for one last dance...

AS FOR ORANGE! i wanted to make each of the Four Ghosts kinda ironic, yknow? both based on their colours and also how i write them.

yellow is electricity cos he's yellow, and also i usually write him as pretty abrasive and hard to get close to- like something electric is, cos youll get shocked if youre too close!

with blue, he's the colour of water, but he's also pretty wishy-washy and feels bad for himself a lot.

pink is the colour of love, and pink addison is all about those dating and divorcing shoes and rings of various origin. he also plays off the idea that if you're in a horror movie, you should NEVER stop to romance someone. doesnt end well for you.

so that leaves orange! him being beheaded is a play off the fact that in dr, he has the mannequin- mannequin heads pop right off, y'know? but he's also orange, like the pumpkin head of the headless horseman so. beheaded. but i also write him as a big "ideas guy", so someone who "uses his head" a lot would get it lobbed off, y'know? wink wink

basically for this, i am a big big sterek fan, and teen wolf (hence the hale part of halestrom) and i love werewolf fics, and ive been wanting a werewolf fic and as i was debating one i came across the moon moon post again and the two ideas conflated.

basically, bradley is moon moon. but only when jake is around. and bradley's trying to woo him. but hes fucking moon moon but most of the time bradley is SUPER GOOD at his job. but hes also cranky bc hes a dumbass around jake so he gets snippy as a result. (hes SO GOOD AT WOOING i promise)

The first time Bradley saw Jake he was in the middle of a full shift on a full moon run with the rest of the pack as part of the Western delegation for the meeting of the Alphas. Jake hadn’t shifted, not that most people had ever seen Jake shift after the attempted coup five years ago, but he joined the rest of his pack, running casually, and having no trouble keeping up with them despite being on two legs instead of four. Even from a distance Bradley had been able to see the smile on his face, how bright his eyes looked and the strength in his arms and legs. And when Jake looked over him, a smirk crossing his face, Bradley couldn’t look away and it was the last thing Bradley saw right before knocking himself out by running into a tree.

I know Lighter/Billy is a reasonable popular one in the East community, but even that one I see barely pop up in the Western one.

Idk I wish Billy got more ship-attention at all cause there’s so much fun to explore there!

How would he experience love? Does he even know what that feels like? Does he feel insecure cause he’s a robot when in a relationship with a human or Thiren? Or does he relate with Thirens cause of being minorities in their society? What does his body do he experiences these feelings?

So many fun things to think about!

Do you think all blood tastes the same or maybe Strahd and/or other Ravenloft vampires have preferences?

ooh I LOVE this question! in my opinion and from some sources i love to pull from, i can super excitedly say all blood taste varies!

strahd can taste alcohol, drugs, or stuff that can influence the blood

strahd can taste the flavor/texture/quality of it, which he can use to make educated guesses on their condition/illness/state of health

strahd can gain more/less sustenance from a creature based on their alignment

good alignment creatures (even religious ones) give more sustenance, and more likely to be an addictively delicious flavor

corrupt/dark/undead creatures give less/no sustenance, and may taste like anything from dull to addictive

creatures with high faith/religious influence may have a stronger/'negative' flavor

blood is/can be allergenic

emotion (of the creature and of the drinker) affects the flavor

both creatures have an intimate experience related to the process of it, this intimacy is based on vulnerability, and a sensation of an internally woven connection of your veins/blood/heart to theirs

the deeper the intimacy/willingness of both sides are, the more intense/dangerous/vulnerable it feels for both sides

blood can be stored/saved, but loses its 'freshness'/sustenance due to not inhabiting the creature/'soul' it belonged to

speaking of flavors! its my head canon that...

willing blood tastes sweet with bittersweet/savory undertones (like a nicely prepped filling/satisfactory meal)

unwilling or resistant blood tastes more sweet/savory, more potent (like how we feel for 'junk food')

fear and disgust have 'negative' flavors, such as sour, spicy, bitter flavors (like dirt, black coffee, dark chocolate, spicy food, citric, acidic)

blood from creatures with faith/religious affect can have a 'negative' flavor or undertone, can cause physical burning, numbness, nonlethal but negative physical reactions (spice/peppers, cinnamon powder, bitter medicine)

healthy creatures taste balanced with a blend of flavors (muscled creatures have a hearty, rich flavor; frail creatures have a more simple/less 'seasoned' flavor; creatures' consumption intake influences the taste of their blood)

adrenaline (regardless if excitement or fear) heats up the blood, making it taste more fresh (like microwaving your meal)

the type of creature/species affects the blood, but mostly due to their culture/adaption/diet/consumption accessibility, as well as how their genes/body work with their blood (like a lightweight alcoholic vs a heavyweight alcoholic will taste different, because the heavyweight has genes/evolution that give them higher alcohol tolerance, so more fermented blood)

oh i 100% believe the ravenloft characters definitely do have preferences, based on the people/creatures/personalities they pursue!

i'll be SO honest i wish i had like. insightful interesting opinions on them but i've always been a Young Justice kid and sort of. breezed past consuming Fab Five Teen Titans content-

but of what i *do* know, from the few comics i've read with these characters is this is one of the best ships for Dick, honestly. it always deeply annoys me when fanon content breezes past the Titans as if they're just some distant teammates and not some of Dick's closest friends, if not a second family. *especially* the Fab Five. for most, if not all of them, it's the first time getting to actually connect with other teen heroes. so there's something fun about how sort of terrible they are at it, at first. they all care about each other a lot. but they're kind of chucked into the deep figuring out how to work with each other and get along with *very* different personalities, so it's fun to see where the conflict comes.

as a ship, i do really love it. the Titans are a family. like we call a lot of teams found families, but for the Fab Five, that shit is the truest. they depend on each other and trust each other. when Dick and Bruce are on outs and Bruce fires him, he goes to the Titans.

i also enjoy how, to an extent, all of them are outsiders of some kind. Donna is alone in a new world she's never experienced, the same as Garth. Roy is still new and awkward to living the rich life with Oliver. Wally doesn't connect to his parents well. and of course, Dick has lost his parents and only has Bruce, who isn't the most emotionally available. of course they're going to cling to each other, as the first people they can really develop connections too. they're very clingy with each other and i think that's both cute and *fun* to explore like, codependency issues with them. how protective they can be of each other, how they default to trusting each other over their mentors, etc. it's all very interesting for a polycule, especially since for most of them, it's their first real relationship. i'm a big fan of "none of us know what dating looks like bc we've had such strange childhoods so we don't understand the Rules very well. we're all just going to date each other bc why would i date only one of you. do teamups count as dates now." vibes with teenage polycules. and the Fab Five just. have that on lock. they each fulfill a different "niche" in the group. Garth is the softer, more emotional one you can go to if you're upset. Donna is the one for planning bright fun trips and making sure you don't wallow. Roy is protective and can pretend to be suave, but he shows affection through gift giving and grand gestures where words fail him. Wally can cheer any of them up with jokes and distractions. and of course Dick is the logical one who makes sure they all keep their heads on and don't drown in the responsibility.

overall i think it's a really cute ship and i do wish i just. knew more about them to be able to write them/read fic of it because i do love their dynamic. and i'm just a firm believer in the Titans being Dick's family, just as important to him as the Batfam. they're a disaster and for that you gotta love them.

Surprising no one this is ALSO from a Dreamzzz fic i have planned. It isn’t one i’ve thought about much in terms of actually writing it but a play a lot scenes from it in my head all the time.

Basic premise of the fic is that the Garcia’s plus Jasmin, Cooper, and Z-Blob go to Coney Island for a fun little trip but then the mood is completely shattered when it turns out Izzie/Mateo’s mom also decided to go to Coney Island on the same day and they accidentally see her there

So yeah, its kinda a harsh blow for the Sibs thus it kinda turns into a hurt/comfort fic

The actual line from the tag game is a line from Cooper who’s talking to José about that whole thing. José also a little bit messed over from seeing his ex wife too, but yk not as bad as the sibs. So yeah the line/conversation is just Cooper reassuring José that he understands that José + Sibs aren’t in the best head space at that moment and that its fully ok that they’re not because, yeah, families are messy especially when they hurt you. Especially when people leave (*cough* plug in ‘Cooper & Garcia mom parallel of both of them “leaving” -> Cooper by ditching Mateo to befriend Logan and their mom for just straight up leaving’ here).

“Families are messy” But it’s Cooper 50% talking about his own and 50% taking about the Garcia’s and how he’s tied to both

PROBABLY in sections and by which joints are used the most/need more regular maintenance. Hands, elbows and arms, and her knees, legs, and hips the most frequent!! Everything probably comes in cycles of repairs and it'd absolutely be HELL if she did everything at once.

I don't know if it's just me but I've recently discovered that.. A lot of people don't take Billy seriously. Like borderline at all. Now I know he's obviously not like Angst Master 300 but like. Come on guys. An ancient android specially augmented for combat and killing? His history with the SoC?? Just because he's silly doesn't mean we should just dumb him down :( Idk it just makes me sad cause I like him a lot but maybe it's just me 💔 the whole phenomenon really around silly characters not being taken seriously just makes me frown is all

I've mentioned it here and there, but never in its own post! The plan is 3 books, though I'm fairly focused on making sure Lonely Shore itself feels like its own standalone experience, as well!!

Does this mean that the main plot of TLS will be resolved within this book? And the rest will be more like sequels developing the story after more and dealing with new issues? Is there anything more you can tell us about it without spoiling stuff?

Also how many chapters are you planning for this book just approximately?

Ahhh great questions!! I can't dig too deep without spoiling, but what I'll say is that some of the big mysteries will be solved this book, while others will continue to build into the next two!

The following books are a continuation of MC's story.
