hey sky kids! this is the weekly light, a sky cotl fan run newspaper, please know that although we report on real sky cotl news we are by no means official and a lot of what we write about in the advertisements area of the paper are fan made stories from the creative writers who work on the paper! we will try to make it as clear as possible which areas are real news reports and which are made by the community. below is information that will help if you have interest in this project!

one of the most important things for this paper is that proper credit is given to the creators. if you are to send something in it is necessary to state how you want to be credited or at least have some way of knowing a username, we do allow fake names or just requesting to stay anonymous and won't share any details like your blog, but it is important we can trace who made something and have actual permission to do so. if you don't fully reach requirements, we will try to reach out however if we can't contact you, we will not be able to put it in the paper and if we are promoting something we will always make sure to have permission from the creator to do so.

Turn your character to chaos challenge

Hello!

Today I have come with a little project which has been in my head for quite some time, my own challenge for Mortal Kombat character creators (whether it's of OCs or particular take on canon characters).

It's a simple challenge really: make the counterpart of Havik's timeline shown in Khaos Reigns of your character. I thought this could be an interesting challenge for character creators, at least I can assure coming with ways to turn my characters into chaos goobers was fun. 😌

Here is the template I have made for this challenge:

Design (optional):

The name. Optional because I understand it can be the most difficult part to do depending on each creator’s way of coming up with designs.

General Information:

A general description of the story and/or role of the character in the chaos timeline.

Vision of Chaos:

What ‘chaos’ means to the character, their philosophy (or lack of).

Remaining core traits/Contrasts:

What makes this version of the character still the character despite their differences. If there’s no remaining trait, what makes them contrast with the original version?

Extra (optional):

Anything each character creator may want to add.

Carmilla

Design:

General Information:

A Vampire, former follower of Havik back when he didn’t attack other timelines. While once loyal, when Havik started merging other timelines to his and coercing his own vision of chaos into its inhabitants, Carmilla grew disappointed. 

With her vision of chaos, she couldn’t tolerate her leader’s actions, and so she decided to abandon his followers. That caused her to be persecuted by other Havik’s followers and live on the run, which was a great plus for her. What a new fun and exciting way of life! 😄

After Havik’s defeat, she has stopped being persecuted, and with the amount of freedom she has gotten from that fact she has decided to become a guide and instructor for anyone towards the realms who agrees with her vision of chaos and wishes to learn from her.

Vision of Chaos:

She believes chaos is not meant to have an absolute definition, or else that would be order. To her, everyone is meant to freely develop their own vision of chaos, without it being enforced into them. In short, she sees chaos as absolute, unfiltered freedom, from freedom to choose one’s own destiny, to freedom to fight to the death because you gotta give some excitement to life ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Remaining core traits/Contrasts:

When developing AU versions of Carmilla (which I may like to show in this blog one day), she has always ended up being some kind of leader/guide, just like her main counterpart is a military commander. While in a very different way, that stays in this version.

Extra:

Since I thought many common aspects of the chaos skins of MK1 wouldn’t fit my characters (mohawks, deformed appearance and so on), when making the chaos designs I just put priority in giving them a lot of green and orange common in the chaos skins. The exception is Carmilla because she would have changed her clothes' colors when she abandoned Havik’s followers. She kept the dyed hair and her eye paint with those colors, though, just because she liked it and didn’t feel like changing it.

Arranad

Design:

General Information:

A half-Tarkatan warrior and another former follower of Havik. Arranad especially enjoyed combat quite a lot, as shown by the scar in her eye, which she doesn’t even remember how she got because she was probably enjoying the fight too much to notice she got it.

Unlike Carmilla, Arranad followed Havik in the first attacks to other timelines. It was just perfect for her at the start. A lot of fighting, disarray and death, it was just glorious! 💯 But that feeling just didn’t last long. She started feeling the process of merging other timelines was just becoming repetitive, always the same procedure. While Havik was apparently thinking of some plan to accelerate things, Arranad had just grown too bored to really care. 😕 She decided to leave Havik’s followers too at the end.

While on the run, Arranad ended up meeting with Carmilla, and they both decided to work together. Arranad was especially glad, because being with a friend made things a little more different from time to time. With Havik’s defeat, she has decided to become an independent agent of chaos, looking for interesting things to do while still collaborating with Carmilla in guiding people from time to time.

Vision of Chaos:

Arranad prefers not to have a concrete defined vision of chaos. She thinks not being able to define what she sees chaos as through words is the good part of it. She prefers it vague and undefined. The motivation for her actions can usually be summed up to ‘she felt like it/found it curious’.

Remaining core traits/Contrasts:

As a half-Tarkatan, and since she grows up in a Tarkatan village that, while different from most others, still has their characteristic warrior culture, main Arranad puts a lot of importance in combat, and so does her chaos counterpart.

Also her relationship with Carmilla. Their main counterparts are a couple. The chaos counterparts are not (at least not full time, because compromises are kinda orderly), but still close to one another.

Tojira Karad

Design:

General Information:

An independent follower of chaos, who never really followed Havik directly. She instead dedicated her whole life to her own vision of chaos.

Tojira is an historian. Her objective is compiling all knowledge of history and letting everyone have access to it. This has caused conflicts with other fellow followers of chaos who see historical facts as a form of order. Tojira disagrees but respects their vision, and so she allows them to try and attack her library, which has a warning signal just in the entrance telling any visitor that it’s full of traps that they will have to surpass to get to her or her books (she says she would let anyone read her books, not that it would be easy to get to them).

Recently, Tojira managed to compile everything which happened at the pyramid fight Havik took part in, thanks to meeting with a counterpart of Tanya who used Kitana’s weapons. This caused said counterpart of Tanya to miss the conflict which ended in Havik’s defeat. Now that Havik is gone, Tojira will surely have a lot of new events to compile in her books.

Vision of Chaos:

She sees knowledge, especially that of history, as a key for one’s mind to be free. The more one knows, the better they can think and reflect, the better they can make decisions. That freedom of one’s mind is the key to chaos for her.

Remaining core traits/Contrasts:

I don’t mention it in her bio because it’s just her introduction, but her main counterpart will become an historian sooner or later, motivated by her will to preserve the history of Onaga’s reign (which Shao Kahn tried to erase and, whether she likes it or not, is an important part of her realm’s history), and possibly cultures which had almost been erased from history like the Cryomancers. Her chaos counterpart retains this trait, but with her vision of chaos.

Extra:

The book she is holding has black pages because she usually likes to write white text in black pages rather than black text in white pages.

Ulima

Design:

General Information:

Another independent follower of chaos. Ulima believes that life lacks any kind of meaning or purpose… just like it should! 🥳 That way nothing is set in stone, everyone is and will always be free!

Ulima spends her time wandering through the realms, looking to do any kind of activity which fascinates her. One of those activities is mixing different kinds of magic (such as light magic and blood magic) just to see the results. You can be sure she has somehow caused one or two natural disasters while doing it.

Recently, while practicing Cryomancy with a variant of Quan Chi she coincidentally met, she learned that Havik had been defeated. That raises curiosity on her, and knows it will change things a lot. She can’t wait to see how while still wandering through the realms.

Vision of Chaos:

As mentioned, she thinks the key to chaos is the lack of real meaning in life. Since life has no meaning, nothing is set, anyone can do as they decide. The more spontaneous and unpredictable those decisions are, the better for her.

Remaining core traits/Contrasts:

One of the core aspects of Ulima’s main counterpart is that she sees no value in life anymore. She is, putting in short, (my exaggerated version of) a nihilist. The chaos counterpart keeps that, but instead of it being a source of bitterness, it’s one of joy, since it allows her to fuel her vision of chaos.

OOC Update, Blog Update, Mini Vent

I truly wonder sometimes if it's the tumblr system fucking me over and not sending me notifications when people interact, or if it's just folks losing interest in plot/thread ideas and quietly dropping them. Then again, I haven't really been online since the new year started. Even back in November, my activity was spotty at best, fueled by little bursts of creativity and fumes from the excitement of October. But fumes run out eventually. And the little bursts of motivation to post online become fewer and father between.

I'm going to be so real; I've been tired of the tumblr RPC for a while. I stuck around for almost 10 years because it introduced me to some AMAZING people, and I genuinely had a lot of fun creating new things with people, and talking about the funny little characters we all have together. But the formatting is tedious, I switch interests at the drop of a hat but cling to others that have lost relevancy with the RPC as a whole, and I just feel like it's harder and harder for me to maintain partnerships with folks only using tumblr.

Not to mention that my senior dog's health looking like a Rollercoaster track with all the ups/downs/loopdiloops, and new challenges facing my intermediate school workplace, have been taking their toll on my energy. I don't want to spend my energy on a platform that I already have to exert extra effort to make tolerable, with so little interaction and feedback to make any of the effort worth it. I want to put that energy towards friends and projects that actually lift me up and bring me joy in what is a very trying time in my life atm.

That all being said, I'm not going to keep anybody in the dark any longer. I'm officially putting this blog into a winter hiatus. All the other blogs associated with this one, like @nomans-land-rp , @the-trails-we-blaze and @plague-on-the-run , will similarly be put on hiatus as well. I'm just going to ride the rest of this winter out trying to keep my head above water, and putting my energy into things that bring me comfort and joy.

I'd like to say that I'm going to spend the winter revamping my blogs, updating character stories and plot lines behind the scenes rather than in public posts, and finally adding characters I've been itching to write again from my early 20-teen years in the RPC for a big comeback in spring. I want to say that's what I'll be doing, because that's what I WANT to do, and HOPE I can accomplish it. But as of right now, I can't guarantee any of that. I'm taking everything one day at a time, and I'm allowing myself the grace to change my mind without any pressure or guilt.

In case I do come back in the spring, this post will be deleted and replaced with a new promo, featuring updated characters, rosters, and storylines. All withdtanding threads will be dropped to open up space for new plots, and new interactions. In case I don't come back, it's been a wonderful time getting to know everyone, i am so thankful for all the interactions and friendships i've made, and I wish everyone the best of luck, and for your RPC experience to continue being a fruitful one.

If you want to keep in touch with me, I am happy to share my discord info with folks who reach out to me in my DMs--although please keep in mind that I reserve the right to pick and choose who I share this information with. - PERSONALITY : A charming and polite French magician who practiced the art of the Wand. He desperately crave for the attention and impress the mass audience. After being booed and thrown banana peels off stage, he now wants to show all of Robloxia that he’s the best magician, despite the ways he used to get their are quite harmful. Deep down, he does feel very bad about killing his audience for revenge and is very insecure about his magic tricks. To cope with those feelings, he gives the survivors cards that can give them abilities to defend themselves from killers like Artful and uses a very limited amount of tricks that he feels the most ‘proud’ of to kill off survivors.

- BACKSTORY: Not much is known about this Magician and his origins other than his first appearance on stage where he was booed off stage and was thrown banana peels at. Now in a post apocalyptic world after many strange and horrific events, he roams around the empty and destroyed streets of Robloxia, thinking that this could be his perfect chance to preform his biggest magic trick yet… too bad the only thing holding him behind is his own audience…

actually trying to do nanowrimo for the first time, albeit nontraditionally and jumping between a few projects. (yell at me about which ones if desired.) so here’s an excerpt from a bg3 oneshot on the november agenda: lae’zel and my rogue gnome girlie millie having an emotionally constipated debrief following All Of That at the crèche. no real spoiler warning for this one since they are being vague, but a small warning for idle but insincere suicidal ideation + character cracking joke on said topic 

Millie swung her legs back and forth, dangled off the ledge of the cliff.  She leaned back, palms pressed against rock, looking down at them — at the skin growing more weathered, dry and cracked by the day — rather than down into the chasm. She would wait here stubbornly, she thought, until someone came looking for her. 

If she was lucky, she thought, that would mean she would wait there forever — wait sitting right there for ages there until she grew too weak for her body to hold itself up, and she went limp and plummeted off the cliff in her sleep none the wiser, before she ever had to worry about losing herself to the tadpole.  A soft whisper of wind that never reached to brush her skin told her she was not so lucky.  Attuning her ears to the barely audible rustle of the footsteps told her everything else she needed to know — light, airy and quick, but forceful and sure.  “Lae’zel,” she noted flatly, without lifting her gaze from her own hand pressed against cragged rock. How often do you think about the fact that Revivebur has canonical PTSD related to swords? I think about it a normal about and it doesn’t add extra angst to anything I write, especially not a death scene or anything (some of the biggest lies ever told)

I think about c!wilburs ptsd a normal amount! I never particularly think about his trauma revolving swords tho. I think back to the moment in the finale stream where I think c!tommy pulls out a sword in anger (excuse me it’s been over a year since I watched the final stream) and I think about how that would’ve affected c!wilbur. I like to think his body tensed up and his eyes widened and he flinched back a little in that moment. Thinking it was happening again.

Hello, all! Welcome to kaleidoscope, my weird little Taylor Swift fanfiction project. Basically, this is "what if the betty/cardigan/august love triangle was actually the entire folklore and evermore albums?".

To be honest, I'm not even that huge a swiftie, but this is what happened to my brain when I first heard folklore - it's so rich, from a storytelling perspective, that I couldn't help but want to do something with it.

So here we are! Kaleidoscope - not anything to do with the Netflix miniseries (I actually came up with the title long before I ever knew that was a thing), but a collection of chapters following the lives of Betty, James, and Inez, each one based around a song from either folklore or evermore.

Just to get a few things cleared up:

These won't be full out, regular chapters, but short vignettes, accompanied by a moodboard and the corresponding song, because it's just a snapshot of that point in the character's life, not a full description of everything that's going on - I wanted to try and translate the same vibes of the albums and of listening to the songs that way.

This will be non-linear storytelling - it won't follow the character's lives chronologically, but instead by the track order of the original albums. It's kind of like a puzzle, where each next chapter, each snapshot, reveals more of the full picture. Once it's all posted, though, I'll fill in the links for a chronological viewing of the chapters, if you want an easier understanding of it.

Finally, yes, I know Inez isn't originally the name of the other girl in the love triangle, it's meant to be a whole other character, and I do include that in the story, but the very simple explanation is - I like the name, and I wanted to use it.

Also, while the main story is just these 34 chapters, I might, in the end, write some bonus chapters, just because I really love this story and these characters, so let me know if you'd be interested in reading that.

Hello there and Welcome to a revised edition of a blog that looks at the Terminator film Franchise including the making of the original Terminator film from 1984 and the 2 sequels that followed it Terminator 2 Judgement Day and Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines for ease of reading the blog has been split in two chapters the second chapter deals with the other 3 films in the series Terminator Salvation Terminator Genysis and Terminator Dark fate as well as what links the film to the Toleramce Project

Today the 26th October marks the Terminator 40th Birthday of its original release at the cinema

Overview

The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction action film directed by James It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will one day save mankind from extinction by Skynet, a hostile artificial intelligence in a post-apocalyptic future. Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) is a soldier sent back in time to protect Sarah. The screenplay is credited to Cameron and producer Gale Anne Hurd.

Defying low pre-release expectations, The Terminator topped the United States box office for two weeks, eventually grossing $78.3 million against a modest $6.4 million budget. It is credited with launching Cameron's film career and solidifying Schwarzenegger's status as a leading man. The film's success led to a franchise consisting of several sequels, a television series, comic books, novels and video games. In 2008, The Terminator was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.  

Casting The Terminator

It's hard to believe, but it's been roughly forty years since James Cameron changed movies forever with the release of The Terminator in 1984. At just 30 years old, this was Cameron's breakthrough, with his only other feature film being the low-budget Piranha II: The Spawning in 1981. His story about a cyborg sent from the future to kill the mother of a future resistance leader against robots who have taken over the Earth set Cameron on a path to becoming one of the most influential filmmakers ever. Before any of that could happen, however, Cameron needed to find the perfect face for his robotic monster. As we all know, the role went to Arnold Schwarzenegger, sending his career into the stratosphere, but before it did, there was talk of another famous name playing the part. Then one conversation with James Cameron changed everything, shaping history into the form we now know it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Says O.J. Simpson Was the First Choice

In 1984, James Cameron might not have been famous yet, but Arnold Schwarzenegger was. He was the larger-than-life Austrian bodybuilder who had won seven Mr. Olympias and four Mr. Universe bodybuilding titles before transitioning to acting with roles in films such as Conan the Barbarian in 1982. Two years later, the same year a Conan the Barbarian sequel, Conan the Destroyer, was released, Arnold met with the unproven Cameron about his next project, a film with a much bigger scope than killer fish.

Cameron Says Simpson Was Never Considered To For ‘The Terminator’

In a 2023 interview with the eponymous host of Max’s talk show Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, James Cameron set the record straight about a persistent rumor over the decades about fallen NFL star running back O.J. Simpson being considered to play the Terminator.

During the interview with Cameron, Wallace asked the writer-director to explain how the supposed consideration of Simpson for the role began.

“Very early on, a highly placed person at one of the two studios that funded that film had a brilliant idea and called me up and said, ‘Are you sitting down?’ I said, ‘Well, no, I’m not.’ He said, ‘Are you sitting? O.J. Simpson for the Terminator!’ I said, ‘I actually think that’s a bad idea.’ It didn’t go anywhere,” Cameron told Wallace (via Variety).

In a 2022 interview with Graham Bensinger, Schwarzenegger went into great detail about what those early interactions with James Cameron were like. Arnold said that when he got involved with the film, O.J. Simpson, then a beloved retired NFL running back who had transitioned to acting, was supposed to be the Terminator, with Schwarzenegger playing Kyle Reese, the good guy role who protects Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and fights against the Terminator. The role would eventually go to Michael Biehn. Arnold was told that he'd be meeting Cameron for lunch, because Cameron had to sign off on him playing Reese.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Convinced James Cameron To Give Him the Terminator Role Instead

At the lunch, Schwarzenegger told Cameron his thoughts about the film and focused on the Terminator, who he wasn't cast to play. He brought up Yul Brenner's killer robotic performance from Westworld, saying "Everything was kind of off because he was not like a human being, there was something wrong here, but you couldn't identify exactly what it was." Arnold was fascinated by Brenner's mechanical movements and told Cameron that whoever played Terminator had to be trained to act like a machine. "He cannot go and look down and have the magazine be put into the gun... This has to be done like a machine, therefore he has to be trained blindfolded."

Schwarzenegger said Cameron was impressed by his opinion and completely agreed. So, right then and there, he told Arnold, "There's no one who will understand the Terminator better than you, so therefore, I think we're all in agreement that you should play the Terminator." To this, Arnold said no. He saw playing the Terminator, who barely had any lines, as a regression in his acting career. He wanted to be Reese, who had all the lines and was more of a challenge. Cameron would not be dissuaded so easily. He told Arnold, "Trust me, I will shoot the character so that you're not only the number one villain they've ever seen, but the number one hero." Cameron told Schwarzenegger to go home and think about it for a few days. He did just that, going back and forth between visualizing himself as the hero and the villain. "Eventually one day I woke up and said to myself, you know, he's right. It would be the most memorable character if it's played right

The Terminator director James Cameron says Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn’t exactly who he had in mind to play the now iconic movie character.

The sci-fi movie classic will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its domestic release on October 26. In the film, Schwarzenegger stars as the title character—aka the T-800—a cyborg from the future who travels back in time to assassinate Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), the mother of a future leader of a war against AI machines who have become self-aware.

In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Cameron admitted that while Schwarzenegger isn’t the person he envisioned for the now-legendary role, he’s the reason for the longevity of the Terminator franchise.

Me and The Terminator Franchise

There have been 6 films in The Terminator franchise I must admit I have not seen them all so I won’t comment on those but I think the first 2 films in the series are the best ones in the franchise as a whole.

 I would have stopped the series after Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines after all it would have made a nice little trilogy. I actually saw the 2nd Terminator film Judgement day first.

 

I only saw that because I was intriged by a spoof pop single in the British charts by Arnie and the Terminators which you can listen to by clicking here  

Quite a lot of people seem to agree with me that perharps the Terminator Franchise should have stopped after Terminator 2 Judgement day in 1991 the film even had a different ending shot for it that would have stopped the franchise after 2 films as detailed here

The epic saga of the "Terminator" films nearly had a far more conclusive ending in its second installment. James Cameron initially planned for a future-set epilogue in which an older Sarah Connor watches her son John, now a senator, playing with his daughter in a peaceful, Skynet-free world.

This would have sealed the fate of our beloved characters, leaving no room for a sequel, let alone the multiple that followed. As apocalyptic as the "Terminator" franchise tends to be, it's amusing to imagine it wrapping up with a peaceful picnic scene.

Screenrant again published an article on their website called 10 Movies that should have ended the Franchise and Terminator 2 Judgement Day was on their list at number at number 7 this is what they had to say.

There are several reasons why Terminator 2: Judgment Day still holds up today. Apart from the impressive effects and performance that brought the T-1000 to life, Terminator 2 compellingly raised the stakes and further explored the plot's ethical implications. It also pulled off the impossible by turning the first movie's villain, the T-800, into a hero and father figure to John Connor. With Skynet's defeat, Sarah and John finally had a reason to be optimistic in the ending, which brings the story to a full circle. The disappointing events of Terminator 3 and the succeeding reboot sequels only strengthen Judgment Day's place among movies that should have ended the franchise.

James Cameron himself explained why he felt Terminator 2 Judgement day was the best of the Terminator films he directored

During a recent interview with Empire Magazine (via Screen Rant), James Cameron, the visionary director behind the iconic Terminator franchise, offered insights into the evolution of the series and his personal growth as a filmmaker.

Cameron explains, "I look at each of those films as a slice of the cultural media zeitgeist of its time. The Terminator wasn't the first action film of the '80s. It was one of a group of action films, most of which came later. Army of one, giant body count, it was part of a zeitgeist. Terminator 2, there was a shifting consciousness. It was also just a better-made film. Physically better made, better realized. I look at them as moments in a career for me as a storyteller, that have specific meaning to me as well. Could I, with where I am now as a person, after all these school shootings, write The Terminator right now and get excited about it and want to go make it? No. I'm a different person, and that's fine too. That's the way it should be. We should evolve as artists. We should evolve as a society."

BACKSTORY

Vinnie was born to Mara and Victor Foster. She has an older sister, Andy. When Vinnie was very young, her whole world changed. Her father, a member of a dark coven of warlocks, was killed. Her family was left to grieve and rebuild their lives.

While not as strong in magic as her sister, she does her best to try and match her spell for spell. She took extra magical training from her godfather, Mason, when it became clear she wasn’t as adept at spells as Andy. It was through these training sessions that she discovered she had a talent with herbs and with growing plants, and switched her focus from her seer talents to study herbology. She began honing her skills by tending gardens with her mother.

She was young when Andy started exhibiting signs of dark magicks misuse. It was a very uncertain time and Vinnie remembered spending time with her mother in hiding while her sister turned to the dark side. Andy eventually returned home after a harrowing experience. Her relationship with her sister became somewhat strained after that, particularly when she began to realize Andy would always be more powerful, more beautiful, and more popular than she could ever be. It certainly didn’t help with her insecurities.

Vinnie strived to remain positive though, keeping her focus on what she knew she was good at and helping her sister whenever she could when they opened the magic shop Embers & Ashes.

Between online college courses, working in the shop, and studying magic, Vinnie likes to read as many books as she can. She wants to travel, settle in with a cat or three, and some day open her own greenhouse or apothecary type shop.

CANONS

She constantly feels inadequate compared to her older sister, Andy, when it comes to power, magic, and most other things. She takes some consolation in the fact she’s better with plant magic and can actually cook, whereas her sister pales in comparison.

The eight year age difference between Andy & Vinnie doesn’t give them much closeness, but Andy is still protective over her little sister. As witches and as women, they have to stick together, even if they annoy one another more often than not.

Of all the Foster women, Vinnie is the least connected to the visions. She has only had a couple of them, and always when sleeping. She had hopes that she might be able to develop the talent as her sister had, but it has more or less eluded her. She discovered her talents were rather different. Though she is unaware of it, her affinity and ability with plants and herbs comes from her father’s side, as his mother had a natural talent with agrokinesis, terrakinesis, and herbology. It still bothers her that she isn’t on par with her mother’s or sister’s talents.

Vinnie lives in her own apartment, but more often than not she stays at the coven house or with her mother. She likes having her own place.

Vinnie’s favorite color is green. She also likes Yellow.

She has a knack for botany and magic involving plants. She has her own garden,

Her knowledge of plants and herbs gives her an advantage in making healing potions, salves, poultices, and more. They sell them in the shop.

Vinnie has recently discovered she has a talent for astral projection and travel. She discovered it when she realized the dreams she’d been having were moments of her astral self remote viewing something. She’s decided to work and hone the skill so she might hopefully astral travel and use it at will.

Vinnie grows that good weed. All magically infused and well cared for with her earth-based witchy talents. She doesn’t sell it though. Its strictly for personal use in rituals or recreation for herself, family, and friends. It’s guaranteed to be very good shit.

Her formal book of shadows contains mostly information on herbs and plant magic, as well as potion recipes. A more informal book of shadows is kept online on a blog she manages.

Vinnie is pretty organized when it comes to her book of shadows. It’s pretty neat, and her entries are labeled, and she also has an online index, or an online book of shadows, that she maintains too. She might not have as much power as her sister, but she knows her shit.

Vinnie hasn’t had much experience with relationships or sex, but she definitely prefers females to males. She crushes on nearly every female she meets.
