He does! but not very often, as there are not a lot of things he actually finds brills or aces, unfortunately.

He mostly uses them for sarcasm and when Charles does something that is, indeed, brills.

Charles likes to use them too, in a "this is... what's that thing you always say, old friend? Ah, aces" sort of way. It's a bit of harmless teasing

I know it would have been kind of redundant/off topic to focus on, but I wish they showed more of the kind of... morally-gray-to-in-all-honesty-bad things the Defiant Dragons got up to.

Like, we're clearly seeing them in a specific, very brief lens where it's a no-brainer to side with them (as opposed to the obviously-morally-bad Ga'ran etc). But it isn't like Dhurke's been doing nothing these past 23-ish years.

Hell, they set off a bomb on/in the courtroom, and Datz straight up tells Phoenix that he would have killed him if it turned out he was working with the queen. The whole lot of them are responsible for at least (at least) a handful of deaths and some destruction, some of which was likely collateral.

One Piece Omegaverse with Omega Ace would be so, so good if only for the distress all the Whitebeards would be in when he first starts attacking their captain.

This little (comparatively to all these huge ass pirates) omega who reeks like anger and anxiety and stress and -- worst of all -- like loneliness. It isn't that he's unmated, it's that he's unmarked. He doesn't have a pack-scent. There is a faint whiff of some other smell on him, something like sea salt and sunflowers sunk deep enough into his skin to know that at least he's connected with someone, but the bitter, cloying stench of unbonded, unmarked, unclaimed, lone omega has two thirds of the Whitebeard crew damn near climbing the walls with the urge to get this kid to a safe place and pile him with food and nesting supplies and make soothing noises at him until his scent goes pleased-safe-happy and the tension bleeds from his shoulders.

Instead, Whitebeard accepts the kid's challenge and then FLINGS HIM OFF THE SHIP.

The crew is all like god Pops please at least stop yeeting him into the abyss think of our blood pressure we can't take this and Whitebeard, also an Omega, is like "Skill issue" and backhands Ace overboard again.

By pure coincidence most of the omegas onboard happen to be mostly older and veteran pirates, they're pop's nurses, they can tell this kid is not ready to join the pack and god knows none of them would ever let some overbearing alphas and betas convince them to stay somewhere they didn't want to, so while everybody else is tearing their hair out because POPS PLEASE LOOK AT HIM HE'S JUST A BABY HE'S SO SAD AND LONELY AND SOPPING WET Whitebeard and the other omegas on board are like lol. Lmao, even. Get good or get dunked.

plz picture all of the non-omega crew members going crazy with all kinds of instincts and damn near staging a mutiny because pops keeps hurting the sad damp kitten. Ace, of course, sees all of this happening and just gets even more murderous.

I know it’s been a while since you wrote about it but I just thought of the utter chaos if RSA met student Yuu.

It’s bad enough when it’s an adult Ace, Eliza, and Epel teasing about how grumpy and gawkily cute student Yuu is. (Some cheek pinching is involved. Yuu will forever deny hissing like a cat in response.) It’s bad enough when Jack marvels at how light they are when he scoops them up to rescue them which results in Deuce and Sebek clamoring for a turn. It’s bad enough when a slightly taller version of Grim proclaims he’ll graciously accept the “kitten” as his minion as well.

It’s bad enough when an adult Idia arrives in response to an adult Ortho’s repeated summons, and just keeps staring at them while muttering “chibi Supervisor…” over and over.

But then there’s a burst of bright light in the center of the room, and when they peek out from behind Yuuken’s back, there’s an adult version of that guy from the VDC and his dwarf backing stars. All posing in glowing, frilly dresses. Shedding glitter everywhere.

And that guy for some reason takes one look at Yuu, has his big round brown eyes grow even bigger and rounder, and lets out a truly earsplitting squeal.

Yuu would like to go home to the universe where people don’t snatch them up without so much as a by-your-leave while babbling about how adorable they are right now, please.
