please tell me what brushes do you use and how do you make your drawings so textured? your artstyle is fucking beautiful and i wanna study it a little bit but I cant figure out how you make the colors have the noise they do

Gonna start with the fact that I’m working in ibis, and one of the brushes was added from the library, but I don’t have a qr code for that one, sorry, you still can try to find similar to it one

I dont use ALOT of brushes, and these four are my basic ones

I use this for sketches and line art

When you see me posting b&w art, it’s probably done using only this brush cause I’m obsessed with it

Coloring with this one, basic dip pen

That one I use to add more texture to the skin and some types of clothes. I usualky use it to create more blush, freckles etc on the multiplied layer or the soft light layer

That one is from the library idk how you can add this specific one, but you can try to find the brush that suits ur style

That one is for the final touches like light, some small shadows, more details, hair etc

Well that’s it! I hope i helped you with this one🫶 my art style is not that hard as you might seemed it is. I think my whole *thing* is rendering, adding lights, atmosphere, more shades of colors etc

Bump in the Night & Nevertober & Sleeptober Day 31: One Last Chance to Escape & Trick or Treat & Dark Signs

PHEW! Got these in, albeit late hahaha. But you can see why it took a while, bc I animated! Turned out really good, I think.

And with that, I’ve finished my art challenges for October. Thank you Hiwi for Nevertober, @thepromptfoundry for Bump in the Night, and @whitejawz for Sleeptober! Such a fun experience working with these prompts. They all challenged me creatively and made me create things I am really proud of. I created 57 pieces in all, which is insane!! Although I’m probably gonna stick to one art a day next year, bc keeping track of all three was a little much sometimes 😂. Hoped you all liked them, and I hope you stick around to see more of my stuff!!

Red and Sula work together so well, I know at some point in their lives together there will be a moment where Red feels like he doesn't deserve the current happiness and freedom he has now bc of the stigma he still feels deep down about his past and I know if he ever voiced that Sula wouldn't even bother trying to persuade or contradict him about it, she'd just be like "well you also didn't deserve any of the heinous shit that happened to you starting when you were an actual child, so what does it matter," and then probably get distracted going into a long list of her anti-Valeron grievances and descriptions of the violent fantasy punishments they would get if she had her way etc. and the moment would be completely defused 🤷‍♀️

Draper!

🌺 What does Draper do to calm down when they’re scared or after a nightmare? Do they have any special comfort items or need to be reassured by a specific person? How do they handle this if they’re alone?

OOOOO this is actually a very fun one! Draper very rarely gets scared nowadays, but definitely did a lot more in her past.

She does have a special comfort item, Mr. Froggie! He's a plush she's had since she was a baby, and all his stuffing is worn down and one of his legs is too short after an incident with a village dog as a child. She always keeps it on her in a special secret pocket of her coat, even after all her adventures.

Nowadays, if her husband Keane is around she'll also pester him for cuddles and to talk things through. (Though if he's not Draper's not beyond walking to her adoptive sister's house in the middle of the night LOL) Granted, if it's a combat situation, Draper's going to do her best not to actively show she's afraid, and her fight or flight response is most definitely fight, so she's going to start slinging very dangerous poisons around to resolve the situation as fast as possible.

If she's by herself, she'd rely mostly off Mr. Froggie, and probably busy herself with some alchemy to make something to knock herself back out and sleep. The perks of being your own pharmacist are that you can safely make extra-strength melatonin and sleep everything off lmao

Have some blorbo art to break up the artfight posts! Did a short ref sheet for Glory and the disguise she'll be using for the next town we'll be going to, where she will pretending to be an elf bodyguard by the name of Rose! Because of that, Glory took A LOT of inspiration from cool, tough, adventures and people she knows such as having a similar belt clasp, cape, and earing as Hope, boots similar to Optimal, and having her cool magic goggles on her forehead similar to Draper :3c
