My brain, attempting to vibrate out of my skull: Nope.

Me: what do you mean nope?

My brain: can’t do. Things. Can’t do things today.

Me: which things?

My brain: T H I N G S

Me: Why can’t I do things today? It’s my day off. I’ve got all day!

My brain: too much time. Too many things. Much stress.

Me: Okay. So the to-do list is too long and it’s stressing me out. What if I take some things off the list?

My brain, ready to shut down: You. Want. Me. C H O O S E ?!

Me: Got it. Bad idea. What if we relax instead? Enjoy the day off?

My brain, overheating: No things. No do.

Me, frozen in decision paralysis: …

My brain: …

Me: …

I am once again thinking abt Apollo justice and making that everyone else’s problem

One Apollo HC that I am just absolutely obsessed with is Apollo having a very intense negative reaction to Phoenix getting his badge back. He’s not rlly around many attorneys or people who are particularly formal— Trucy is in costume and Ema and Klavier spit on the concept of a dress code. The last time he was really in an office or spending a lot of time around people in suits was with Gavin and Co., so when Phoenix gets his badge back something changes

Phoenix is back in his element— he looks more confident, more in control. He has a cool-toned suit and his dress shoes click on the floor like his sandals wouldn’t. He stands a little straighter. Sometimes you can see the defense attorney badge glinting in the office lighting. I think it changes the perception of Phoenix in Apollo’s mind but also scares him a little, bc he can’t just see Phoenix as that cryptic piano player or some husk of an attorney anymore. Phoenix radiates confidence, credibility, and charisma in a way that Apollo hasn’t seen in a long time, and so every time he hears the swish of fabric behind him or the click of dress shoes on the floor, every time there’s someone cool-toned and formal grabbing tea in his peripheral or picking up a pen he dropped, he can’t help but see someone else

If you're here, you're either lost, or you're exactly where you want to be.

I've gone by many names over many journeys, but you can call me Vex Takor.

I'm an LGBT+ author making LGBT+ stories for all types of adults and young adults alike. My goal is to wrap personal themes of self discovery, generational trauma, self-acceptance, and finding your place in the world in a blanket of fantasy, monsters, and supernatural tales that would be right at home in an animated series.

When I'm not writing, I work as a freelance illustrator and animator. I love cats and their criminal ways, my favorite food to make is soup, and my ambition in life is to have a physical copy of my book(s), "Find Your Wings," in my hands in the next five years. I wanted to make an animated series, but a book is much more affordable. ;>

Find Your Wings is about the meek owner of a local hang-out club that has the spirit of a monster. When someone finds out his secret, he has to fight for proof that he has a reason to exist, or risk losing everything that gives his life meaning.

Full of mystery, magic, laughs, and deeply personal themes of self-discovery, it is my hope that Find Your Wings finds its place in a few hearts.

I imagine a few especially nasty side effects came with vex possession, both different for Scar and Cub, (I might go over Scars later), but Cub specifically gets ‘base urges’. While just working on one of his bases, or chatting with friends or just living life, he will have a sudden and violent need to kill/eat. Head hurting, cold sweat, gnawing on his tongue, it's all consuming. He’ll usually slink off for a few hours just to get away from people (who are looking more like food every second), and hunts down some warm blooded animals. He just destroys them, and if he can't get away in time, he hates that he could’ve done that to a person. Everything hurts and he's shaky and his mouth tastes like metal and his teeth ache, and he's having an existential crisis about how he really is a monster.

When he gets home drenched in blood and gore, Scar is usually watching movies on the couch or eating a late night snack waiting for him to come home. He gives Cub a sympathetic look, before helping him get cleaned up and making him real food. Then they curl up together and watch movies on the couch, Scar staying awake until Cub manages to drift off. 

On a sillier note, if Cub can't get away in time, Scar will let him gnaw on his arm like a chew toy. He doesn't mind, and Cub always helps him with his vex-related problems in exchange.

Assuming there are no fights in the last episode, we now have the final tally on deaths and K/Os across all campaigns.

Deaths: Vex has the most at 5 (2 post campaign), Vax second at 4, Grog, Percy, Scanlan tied for 3rd at 2.

K/Os: Caleb has the most at 17, Vax second at 14 and Beau in 3rd with 12.

Vex has the most deaths in Vox Machina. Across both the Mighty Nein and Bells Hells campaigns, no one died more than once (with most of the party tied for first with 1 death.)

Vax, Caleb and Orym have the most K/Os per campaign (congrats to Liam for keeping the streak going.)
