Hi there!

The LVL UP gave us a new trailer full of expectations, as well as a preview of Stolas and Blitz's song from Full Moon.

Here are some considerations which, admittedly, may contain annoying spoilers.

YOU ARE WARNED!

I've scaled this analysis down to share one thing in particular about a X's post.

So now is almost confirm the chronology: Full Moon set on September 29th 2023.

There was a verbal clash between Blitz and Stolas, both are right and both are right.

The way I think:

Stolas has reached the limit and, accustomed to a situation in which other people's feelings have always been clear to him, he demanded an answer. Yes or no. He had already decided how to behave because he always assumed that Blitz didn't have masks.

Blitz, on the other hand, was raised in a context of manipulation, where the only certain thing was that his name was enough. He doesn't believe in the possibility of being loved for two reasons:

1. They keep repeating that wherever he goes, he only hurts

2. He doesn't believe himself enough to be

The two reactions were therefore: Stolas "I am not enough, therefore I am abandoned" and Blitz "I am abandoned because I am not enough".

I think we need to really find out what happened to Blitz's mother to find out more, but Applogy Tour could also start to clarify this story.

The song Is magnificent!

Apology Tour may be scheduled for October 31st, Halloween. There seems to be a party, that both Verosika and Stolas attend. Blitz will have to face both and will take the hit heavily. Did he get into the hole following Stols or did he end up there by chance?

The scene where all of Stolas' memories of Blitz are broken could have two meanings:

Rejection

Remorse

Ghost Fuckers should be specifically about Millie and Blitz and delve deeper into the latter's story.

Surely, you will have seen some boards with drawings of a ghost, Millie and Moxxie hanging from a chandelier and Blitz running to save them with Loona.

Not familiar to you? I hate to admit it, but I think those boards weren't fanmad...

Mistermaind will be a real bomb:

We have already seen the Angels and Agents, but it definitely doesn't end there. Their army of bishops has yet to be mobilized. The situation is so tragic that it sees to forced I.M.P to flee or even abandon someone…

We also see some new memories from Blitz, specifically:

A scene with his mother

Cash Buzko taking him away from the crashed Fizz (Here's the “them” of Oops?)

Finally Sinsmas, obviously set in December. Here too, an incredible load of characters: The Goetia with Vassago (Parrot Boy on X), Andrealphus, Mammon and Satan.

They are probably also in Lucifer's palace.

There were also sad leaks for this episode: Via's song and the final confrontation with her father, who seems to have taken a holiday… Is it Blitz's fault?

I need to recover and at the same time the new episode...

I love the thought of snarking becoming a bit of a love language between Blitz and Via. Via feeling secure enough to know nothing she says can really push Blitz away or come between either of them and Stolas while Blitz finds familiarity in affectionate razzing as bonding. I tried a lot of different stuff with this one artistically, and I'm pretty happy with all of it! I'm not sure if I'll ever settle into a consistent comic style, but I'm having lots of fun 😌 Bonus doodle comic of a slightly rough start below the cut! 😂

You know what kills me. Via understandably feels like she's been left behind, like Stolas has chosen Blitz instead of her. That they've gone off and formed a relationship she can't be a part of.

And in the same episode as she confronts Stolas about that, she has no idea that the "shitty boyfriend" is daydreaming about not just having Stolas and his own daughter in his life, but about HAVING VIA THERE TOO.

Like I completely get why she thinks she's been left out, but the irony of the very guy she thinks is the cause of her exclusion, actually of his own accord, without prompting from anyone, yearning for her to be part of it, to become family.

It is killing me. In Blitz's perfect family daydream, he has TWO daughters, not just one. He's gonna love her so hard when she's willing to let him.

Feelings and junk under the cut~

This one's been sitting awhile and in that time I've gone from feeling relatively certain about what I'm trying to express, to no longer having any idea what I'm expressing, to once again feeling kinda sure about it! It was meant as hopeful but I can't fully say it ended up that way; the little perspective shift at the end was originally intended as optimistic, because without it things felt to 'final', but in retrospect I might've just made it worse 😂 I had all kinds of feelings going into this, thinking about all the little private ways we try to measure our worth in other people's lives and how badly that can miss the mark, but more than anything I think I was trying to ask myself something from Octavia's perspective. When someone goes through something life-alteringly traumatic, eventually they always find a new normal. No matter how devastating something is in the moment, given time, things will always settle. So what does that feel like when you are the thing someone you love is 'settling' from? It's not fair to assume that someone's life is better without you in it just because they're still out there living. But what does it feel like, to see first-hand that they have either somewhat healed or hidden a wound that you carved in them yourself. Because you don't want them to hurt (well, you kinda do a little) but you also don't really want them to forget (even though you told them they should) and then it all becomes a jumbled mess in your head. Thankfully, I don't think Via and Stolas are going to be estranged long enough for this to become the kind of obstacle I'm portraying here. Pretty sure I accidentally stumbled into some of my own old teenage angst there - always a fun time 😂 I handled this a little clumsily, I think, and I have a few nitpicks with the formatting (beefing with past me's approach is a time-honored tradition for these things 😌) but it's sincere and I'm still happy with it~
