ARCANE CHARACTERS + NEW YEARS EVE WITH YOU

JAYCE TALIS

⤠ loverboy texts you that he won't be done in the forge until late. you try to hide your disappointment. you're already dressed to the nines--a shimmery gold dress jayce bought for your for your anniversary last month sticks to your body like second skin. you were looking forward to partying it up with the kirammans. you move to take it off when you hear a knock on your bedroom door. heavily, you drag your feet to open it only to gasp in surprise when it's jayce. he stands in front of you, a sheepish smile on his face and pink dusting his cheeks and neck. he's in nothing but a simple white dress shirt, sleeves rucked up to his elbows. there's a hint of mechanic grease on his chin and you reach out to swipe it away, when he steps forward and pulls you close, apologising with a kiss. "what's that for?" you ask. he reveals what his other hand's hiding behind him: a bottle of champagne and a modest bag of fruits. "i thought we'd skip the party," he says, "stay here. watch the fireworks from over there." he nods at your balcony, the soft december breeze filtering through your room. "you said you'd be late," you accuse. he laughs. "i am. i wanted to come sooner, but i had meetings and then some and, well..." you don't know why you're still standing. you pull the man of progress in your room and the two of you steal kisses as you await the great clock to strike midnight.

VIKTOR

⤠ you've had plans since october. god knows viktor could never make enough time for himself to simply enjoy unless notified at least two months in advance. "nothing big," you promised him. with a roll of his eyes, he reaches forward with a free hand and kisses your forehead. "okay, láska." and exactly at eight pm on the dot, you show up at his flat, a bottle of wine and fresh sweetmilk rolls and grapes in tow. he lets you in, hair freshly damp from the shower. you make sure he's settled in before you set it up. you explain to him how your family rings in the new year: wishing on grapes and drunk. he laughs, wincing a little when the motion catches his back brace in a bad position. you reach over, brushing your thumb over his furrowed brows and he leans into your touch, kissing the insides of your wrist. "so," he says, accent thick and eyes heavy, "you brought the wine?" in the end, you didn't get to do your grapes until much, much later in the morning on new year's day after you wake up on viktor's bed, tangled in the sheets with him.

⤠ she swears to you that you'll get no better view of the piltie fireworks than above the cracks. she's waiting for you by the alley outside your workplace, gearing to go. you ask her if you need to bring anything yesterday and she grins, something mocking but rounded to sweet when she taps your nose. "just sturdy shoes and study old you," she sing-songs. as you climb up the treacherous cracks with her, you make good use of the shoes she told you to bring. you two finally make it up over the lanes and as you settle next to her, your breath leaves you forcefully. the view is beautiful. you can see the long stretch of roofs that make the end of zaun, the elevators, and the city of piltover. she nudges your shoulder and points with her arm to the councillor's building. "it'll be over there," she whispers. "colours like you've never seen!" the child-like wonder in her voice is what gets you. even if its minutes before midnight, you throw caution to the wind. what the hell, you thought as you turn and place your palm over her cheek. her blue eyes are wide, but she doesn't pull away as you lean in. when you kiss, you hear it behind you: the burst of fireworks, the cheer of children, and--best of all--jinx's relieved sigh against your lips.

For the past 3 years I've been wondering why Vixtor would end up hating Jayce like he does in the game but honestly I completely understand.

The dude had one request when he died: to destroy the Hexcore! But Jayce went against that and basically did a Frankenstein and made Vixtor his monster!

I'm interested to see why Riot made Vixtor the villain out of the two though. Like how far is his "glorious evaluation" going to go?

my logic for fucking regular ysmé is the same as before, she seems like she'd be really fun to have no-strings sex with. the inherent power imbalance present in marrying exalted ysmé somehow feels *less* doomed than the idea of any kind of matrimony; i can be more effective as a sort of cultist or purse dog to her than a husband. kill pallid woman, she's kind of just a character ysmé put on, so it's more like a stage death anyway, right?

neeeeed the hexcore whispering in vixtors ear to bring it more organic material, meat, bones, his blood all offered up to it and in return it does something to him. his memory of it is hazy, the electricity from the hexcore dancing over his skin, passing through him, into him.

at first when he wakes up it seems like nothings happened, the hexcore just seemingly hovering and humming with, satisfaction maybe? slowly but surely however Viktor notices how breathing comes a little easier, long days on his feet leave him in less pain then he'd expected. subtle golden filigree wraps around his leg, his ribs. somehow the hexcore had healed him. as time passes he seems healthier than ever, bright eyed, rosy cheeked, almost with a soft glow about him.

and then something inside him starts growing. moving. changing his body even further. his health wasn't the only gift the hexcore had for him.

🦄 (idk I realllllyyy love the idea of hexvik baby trapping in return for healing. I want him hormonal and terrified and dependent on the hexcore, desperately trying to hide the way he's swelling with what he hopes is just a baby. who knows what'd happen if people found out what happened, or what the hexcore might do)

viktor writes down everything and he comes to the conclusion that the hexcore is healing him. even asks it how, it's from... his offerings isn't it? offering himself up to be eaten, to be molded by it. viktor should be scared-maybe is a little bit scared-but all he feels is relieved. he's safe now. because and with the hexcore. though...

it's worrying that the hexcore seems to be losing power. it's glow has dimmed and keeps dimming, it's voice quieting to a low murmur. the hexcore is losing power. and viktor has an idea of where that power is going. in him, in... his... womb? the thought should scare viktor. and it does. but even now the hexcore is comforting. it...it won't hurt him, right?

(hohohoho viktor giving birth and he's so relieved it's a baby and the baby looks humanoid. he was ready to leave with it if it wasn't, to love it and raise it. and he's so very relieved that his child is humanoid because he knew what it felt to be lonely)

(but he gets a chill when he looks into his child's eyes and they are this glowing purple. hexcore? viktor murmurs and his child's eyes glow brighter. the child snuggles closer and viktor is at a loss)

(hhhhhlkhlkhlkhlh tw: incest. what if settim (the hexcore) grows up and it is still so attached to viktor??)

Am I the asshole for talking about league of legends with my dad when he didn't want too?

Ok so my dad likes arcane and stuff but I don't like it since it bastardizes the LoL lore. I watched it with him and shook my head the hole time because it was wrong. silco is not a LoL chanpion, and it creates plot holes. And I couldn't play as jimx anymore because she was always taken. Also vixtor looked ugly. But I digress.

Ok so my dad talked Bout arcane at breakfast today and I mentioned that it's inaccurate to league of legends. He said that he looked up jimcs lore before arcane and he didn't like it. But I said that he was wrong.

I talked about jinx from league of legends for a little bit but he said he didn't like lol jibx.

Happy Pride Month!! (Ft. Vixtor Rose and Cremic Knight)

I’m thinking of surprisingly making Kenz a parent to the next little umbredoggos. Ofc they’re forced into that role by the Axolotl. In a secret draft, they were intersex, but had a surgery at birth to appear more feminine (which included castration), and everything regenerated from regenerative umbredoggones. Instead, Kenz will donate their eggs to Bee before undergoing a hysterectomy due to a severe injury from a tree falling and lacerating a foreign body in that part of the body. Only three eggs were left intact and they were close to ovulating. Bee will act as a surrogate and Tex will fertilize. In the original secret draft, Ford didn’t know until after the pups were born. Might keep it that way, or make him directly involved. Kenz has gotten close to Ford and I picture them getting their first time parent jitters out on him. Kenz being a phenomenal parent and insisting on not making the same mistakes their father made, being open with their kids and teaching them how to feel emotions properly and being a wholesome dad jokes dad. Almost embarrassing in their teenage kids’ eyes, but they really appreciate having such a great dad. (Vortex also acts as their dad. They get used to having a gender neutral parent that acts in the dad role.)

The whole fire and blood thing is foreshadowing. There will be a huge conflict between Kenz and Hailey. Hailey will escape prison somehow. The IMP would likely be hired by Kenz’s father who is now in hell, is part of the Vee’s but not necessarily as terrible (more so morally grey), and goes by Vixtor (he and his kid still don’t see eye to eye, and he still doesn’t think that he abused them. But he never wanted them to actually be in peril. Original drafts painted him as a cold hearted murderer who wanted to drown Kenz as soon as they were born, but I scrapped that. I felt like making him more morally grey and kinda a jerk, but deep down, he still loves Kenz. He just doesn’t understand. Kenz has every right to be angry as fuck and to go completely no contact. He only attacked Kenz because he was drunk and angry. And he saw Verosika eyeing Kenz suspiciously. I think when Kenz becomes a parent, he gets proud of them and ultimately respects them, but still doesn’t believe he did anything wrong to them.)

On the topic of Kenz’s dad, he is extremely jealous of Ford from Hell. He doesn’t understand why Kenz is bonding with him, and he doesn’t understand why he’s “enabling” Kenz’s behavior (in reality, he’s helping them navigate the world without changing who they are.) Jacob was taught that neurodivergence was bad from generational trauma. He was taught that he must live through his kids, and that stardom was the only way at life. My original design for his overlord form was a “wolf in sheep’s clothing/trojan horse.” But I’ll scrap it in favor of a design that looks like Blackstar (from warrior cats) fused with Lucario. Jacob/Vixtor controls the sporting entertainment in hell, something he wanted to aspire to when he was alive. He does have controlling powers, but they’re the weakest of the Vee’s, as he relies more on brute strength. I don’t see him seeking redemption in the Hazbin hotel as he’ll never see what he did was wrong. He’s arrogant and prideful. He’s the first one of his immediate family to end up in hell. (Hailey will end up in hell and will be a more prominent vengeful sinner whose soul is owned by Bill threat. She will cause the Vee’s downfall and will take Alastor’s place as Vox’s rival. She will take the more wolf in sheep’s clothing design.)

I’m not gonna reveal any other “leaks” because I’m tired.

Idea: Maybe after they reunite at the meeting and Vixtor comes back to the hotel with Alastor, Alastor takes Victor to his room after introducing him to the other people there—and he only does so just so he can absolutely drown Victor with affection privately. And the thing is it's implied Alastor has probably done this before considering how slightly flustered Victor seems to get the moment they step in his room. /j
