So I've been teasing this character in my tags/posts for a while, and she's finally hereeee. Anyways WHOOPS, another self indulgent Lethal Company character who is basically the Wario version of [Cap'n]!

Meet Echo and her crewmates: Orion (goggle'd circle-shaped one), Spade (short one with big arms), and Guy (shapely GNC one). Being the opposite of Cap'n's crew, they're all men EXCEPT for Echo!

At first, she started out as a grown woman having a one-sided, very pathetic beef with Cap'n, but she evolved into an angry teenager who projects all of her issues onto someone who literally doesn't know she exists (and subsequently does something horrible to herself to rectify this weird beef). Did it work? Well no, come on, look at her, now she's even worse GOKJDFMKDF

And when I say "one-sided", I mean it. Genuinely Cap'n doesn't know who she is, like, at all. I think the first time they meet will be the inevitable werewolf fight between the two of them when things get out of hand.

Anyways I love the kidnapper fox, but alas, she was too swag for this world, RIP to a real one that lasted a month and a half. u_u)!!

Azula in Fandom

I really did love Azula. She's one of the most fascinating characters in ATLA: brilliant, terrifying, powerful, tragic, and deeply flawed. I loved that the show let her be complicated without ever pretending she wasn’t dangerous.

And I still love her, but honestly, some parts of the fandom have made it harder. Watching people erase her harm, excuse everything she did, or attack others for acknowledging her complexity doesn’t make her look better, it just makes real conversations about her impossible. Azula was compelling because she was broken, cruel, vulnerable, and human all at once.

Flattening her into a untouchable girlboss or a misunderstood victim that just wanted the best doesn't honor that story, it kinda cheapens it.

I’m still rooting for her character, and I always will be. But if I'm honest, it feels like my love for her has faded a little, not because of who she is, but because of how some of her fans behave (NOT ALL FANS, by no means all fans, but a loud enough *few* who excuse abuse, downplay harm, and treat disagreements about her online like I just killed their puppy in front of their eyes).

It's just kinda sad seeing something I cared about get twisted into something uglier  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

man... like...... cant stop thinking about how the time period when Solas sundered the Titans is when he would have been wearing Mythal's vallaslin still. acting for and at the behest of others, not himself. wearing it marking him as in Mythal's service and therefore also therefore absolving him of the terrible action itself, because it wasn't him it was at the behest of another, the classic dilemma of the soldier distancing themself from the general's orders they nevertheless carry out themselves. so of course when he leads his own rebellion, he doesn't replace it with a vallaslin design of his own for all the new followers, but instead removes it entirely, putting everyone at an equal footing and making everyone responsible for their own actions. and he removes his own except he left a scar as a reminder--couldn't forget her, couldn't forget the things he did in her name, couldn't forget who he let himself become... is it any wonder he sees inaction and just doing what other people want from you as the greatest possible sin

In the cowboy swap au, Ceroba is actually the Sheriff and leader of the Feisty Five. Clover is still the Deputy and goes by “Lucky Star”. He loves hanging around town with his Mama ☺️. I haven’t come up with a cool cowboy name for Ceroba yet, although she probably wouldn’t use one :/

im gonna start posting fanfic recs btw whenever i find good ones. both here and my (awfully barren) 18+ account. because there are so many good fics out there with so few hits and fewer kudos and sometimes no comments period and it SUCKS because i REALLY LIKE THEM A LOT.. and i hope that by linking them here and yelling at everyone to COMMENT DAMMIT they might actually do it

seriously though any comment means a lot. most people who read a fic don’t even give a kudos. even if the fic wasn’t top tier, if you didn’t dislike it, hand over some kudos!! and if you liked it, comment!!!! even if the comment is one singular heart emoji it will be appreciated. if the comment just says “great fic!” the author will be happy. your comment doesn’t have to be this long winded gushing or analysis.

so many authors quit writing or lose motivation because the comments are few and far in between or just sometimes nonexistent. trust me when i say authors don’t care about how long or cool or smart sounding your comment is i promise!!!

i hope that mmmaybe recommending fics and telling people to comment might help fics i really like get more support maybe. and i, points at you reading this, hope that you will listen!!!at least a little….at least sum kudos….
