Recently found myself in an obsession with Algel Hare, which has nailed its self as on of the only online series to make me genuinely cry and feel for the characters (Fantastic job, East-Patch). So I tried my hand at drawing Gabby, for a first attempt (and being really rusty with my art), I'd say it went really well.

This was my main reference that I used:

i had a dream about angels and devils training each-other to cross borders and pass in the opposite plain. then our fake-angels were dealing with Angie Towns entrance-guardians. trying to mask & suppress their chaos impulses and play it smooth~

(basically the “same” episodes but how i ’ think, it would play out with my hdcs)

it was so engaging that i thought “i should wright this all down and sketch their pretty little cross-dress outfits” while still dreaming. then woke up and forgot a hole 2/3 of it😩 as per usual😔

spent half a day thinking back to those dream-ideas….

R&S would be training both of their groups, not just cuz they are the token leaders, but also, cuz they have loads and loads of experience, sneaking around on the enemy-territory and masking their nature. especially Raf. since i already imagine her masking and adapting the longest

(her whole existence: as she was originally born as a being of dual energy. a terrestrial♾️—> turned angel⚪️. because of that, i think of her as someone fundamentally different in terms of how she experiences her own angelic existence and duties that come with it. the angelic mindset wouldn’t come naturally for her… and i feel like that’s what made her the best in her generation? maybe she subconsciously feels like she should try harder than others, her fundamental deference forces her to analyse the system, think more critically, adapt and perform better at her job, as her vision is better connected to the terrestrial - dual nature)

and then, them both deciding to sneak predominately around/at Low-dorms, since the area is already overflowing with rule-braking-chaos and there they don’t stand out as much, as opposed to High-dorms which i would describe as: ridged, clean, bright and comparatively quiet. even when they are alone, they can’t let their guard down, can’t let themselves get lost in each-other.

also i imagine Sulfuses band being way more cool & excepting of their friends law-breaking-relationship [cuz of course they are. duh «rules are made to be broken»]

so Raf would already have a shit ton of experience disguising and passing as a different being

then i also thought… mb their world could be something like:

that. and the school would include all 3 plains of existance: main corpus being terrestrial: the middle, human-realm, where it all manifests —> then splits into something like: order || chaos and maintains a balance.

with low-dorms placed below it (and connected to the low-realm of the demonic) and high-dorms above (connected to high-realm of the algelic)

eternals, when they exit their dorms/plains, transform into their terrestrial forms and study. to physically submerge themselves in human experience & have a better understanding of what they are working with.

i also feel like that would make Raf and Sulfus, be already used to living as mortals full-time, which makes their decision to take the path of “metamorphosis” be a bit less drastic (imo)

Time to talk about Great-great-great (x134)Grandad, well we all have theories about what it means of Us the protagonist being his descendant i whould like to get an pause on that and focous on his relatonship with the devils and God. 

Ok so we know from the first picture what many devils saw it was the relationship of they with him, they saw him as this mentor/weird parental figure with all they adoring him and reaciving pretty much equal attention, he also appear to be an very open guy “don´t just stand there looking,you should come next to me too.” even thought he is that powerful he still very friendly. 

What that means for the devils? 

Well if see Solomon as the collegue of God then there is an clear parallel of they and how the angels and devils react to each other. 

God made the angels to confort and love him, but did not count making this relationship whould make the angels obesessive over him, so much he had to create the Devils so algels could have friends, still did not work, that is to show how you can not “create” or “force” love of others cause it always end badly, realationships platonic or not need build up. 

In contrast Solomon begin as friends with the devils, humans and even God himself to show to us that parallel that both have in how they work each relationship, we can also see the damage that their disappearance had on each one, while the devils devolep certan psycologicol problems (cause no way Beelzebub going away the exatac moment Solomon dissapered or Satan having depression have nothing to do with Solomon) what is an very human reaction (again going back with the theme of they being closer to humans) in the lost of somebody deared to they and they still wating for him to come back hopefull the angels insted went to panick mode and starghait up acused Solomon and all hell for God disapperance and went to straight war mode 

The main thing we have with this paralell of Solomon x God is the theme of Forced Love vs Build love and i think is really interesting since one of the main points of the game is how the MC interacts with the devils building their relationships following the path of Solomon with build love.

În care observăm cum "A", care își dorea să devină biolog marin, este ispitită spre plăcerile lumești, spre o viață păcătoasă.

"A" venise să observe de ce unele alge nu fac sex.

Dintr-o dată a auzit o voce suavă care îi spunea "Hai fată la un Bucegi, și să ne simtem bine".

Când și-a întors privirea, a văzut ispita: o damă brunetă, superbă (nu intru in detalii)! Și un pet de 2,5L de Bucegi, aburit de rece ce era.

A simțit broboane de sudoare pe frunte, era gata să cedeze ispitei, când dintr-o dată cerul se deschise și apăru Bunul!

"A"!!! Viața ușoară și plină de plăceri este prea ușoară și prea pentru oricine, dacă înțelegi ce vreau sa zic! Dar ca să cunoști plăcerile Raiului fără de sfârșit, întâi trebuie să suferi, să te chinui! Am zis!

"A" se desmetici, îi spuse ispitei "du-te fă de aici!" și își continuă studiul.

Astfel află că algele nu făcuseră sex pentru că aveau o relație PLANCTONICĂ!
