I apologize in advance for any mistakes (English is not my first language) BUT I JUST CAN'T! I can't stop thinking about how exactly the main character will end up completely dependent on Father Micah. If elves, dark magic, incubi and other creatures exist in this world, I would venture to suggest that possession by demons or other evil spirits is also a known phenomenon.
Just imagine a situation in which the main character is forced to attend church because she realizes that something is wrong with her perception of reality. It all starts small - insomnia, minor auditory hallucinations, which can easily be attributed to general fatigue from work or school. She can try to self-diagnose and self-medicate, but there is practically no effect.
Disjointed and disturbing dreams give way to nightmares, auditory hallucinations become more unbearable and are now accompanied by visual distortions as well. Any sane person in such situation will rush to a psychologist (more likely even a psychiatrist), but the treatment doesn't give the desired results. Her relatives are very worried and concerned; someone from a more devout background may advise turning to the clergy - and Father Micah is simply an excellent candidate to help this poor unfortunate soul. If she really feels better after each visit, then she'll come back again and again. Just to not lose her damn mind.
But what if Father Micah is the root cause of her condition? If he's not as pure and holy as he seems? What if he's the one who made a contract with the entity that is currently ruining her whole life?
He can't keep her in church by force unless there is a good reason, but even if she'll try to stay away, her condition will deteriorate so much that she WILL inevitably attack someone close to her at some point, mistaking them for Father Micah or that entity due to hallucinations. And SHE WILL have to return back if she doesn't want end up accidentally taking the life of someone from her inner circle. But even if she'll refuse to do so voluntarily, her dangerous condition is in any case a good reason to forcibly isolate her from the others.
And I doubt Father Micah is interested in fully exorcising her.
Oh god I love this scenario.
So I don't think Micah would actually make contracts with evil entities to curse you, but he would make you believe you were cursed. I can definitely seem him drugging you small dosages by giving you small snacks whenever you visit the church or run into him by "chance". He'd always play it off as a gift from the church or some leftovers from what they made for the orphans.
You wouldn't suspect him at all. Why would you? He's THE Father Micah. The beloved angel of the town since he was a kid. No human has seen him do evil deeds.
He would know exactly when the drugs kick in and when they are the most effective, and he would always be there at the right time. Talking to you, making you believe it's unnecessary to see a doctor for such mild sickness. Surely it'll get better if you pray.
It's not getting better even after praying? Maybe it was more serious than Micah expected, but worry not, he knows just the right thing to do. You just have to come to his house so he can bless you with his personal prayers. Why not at the church? Haha you wouldn't want to bother everyone there for such a trivial issue right? Don't worry, Micah will give you special treatment in his house, just trust him.
And trust you will, because everyone knows if there's someone you shouldn't fear it's Father Micah.

New worldbuilding post for @creators-club
I don't think I talk about my pixies enough.
They're large insects in the same family as bees and wasps, and visually they have very similar body types to their smaller cousins.
Pixies have only been legally defined as people for a couple centuries, as the vertebrate people around them took a while to truly realize how intelligent they were.
Much to their chagrin, the pixies accepted their new legal personhood with the announcement that they had also been observing the vertebrate folk and trying to decide if they were civilized and sapient enough to define as people by pixie standards.
Before all this, pixies had been viewed as rather dangerous insects to be avoided for fear of their venomous sting. The goblins used to eat them, and only increased their pixie consumption during the goblin revolution to get pixie venom into their skin mucus as a form of biological weapon.
The vertebrate folks apologized profusely for the way they used to treat pixies, and the pixies accepted the apology. You see, pixies are actually quite advanced in their technological skills, and much like the crews of star trek, they had been practicing observation without interference for centuries. They watched the vertebrate people and took note of their advancing development but never interfered or gave them access to more advanced technology, and accepted their attacks on pixies as a hazard of the job, the unfortunate casualty of performing close observations on dangerous creatures.
Pixies do not view death the same way other people might view it. Their hive population have a collective connected memory, so every individual who dies still leaves their memories in the hive, absorbed into the collective like a ghost. Their individual life may be mourned, but their body was merely a vessel and extension of the greater hive population. Pixies have fairly short lives as it is, though they live much longer than most insects. The average pixie might live up to 10 years in ideal conditions. Their egg layers live longer, up to 50 years if they're lucky. It's the drones who have the shortest life, only surviving for 6 months if they never mate with an egg layer, and less than that if they do, because the mating process inevitably kills them.
Drones, the only "males" of the species, are viewed almost as sacred beings, carrying their own hives memories over to an ally hive and then giving their lives to ensure the next generation can be born. They are protected and treated with a great amount of ceremony by their birth hive and the hive who will receive them.
Pixies have a hard time understanding individualism. They have individual personalities of their own, of course. But they're so intrinsically connected to their hive, instinctively and actively doing what's best for the collective, that the concept of individualism simply confuses them. It seems so inefficient.
Pixies are very organized workers. They have two main biological castes; hive workers and scouts. Hive workers remain in or near the hive, doing construction work, keeping the hive clean, caring for eggs and larvae, managing food storage, etc. Scouts work outside the hive, performing scientific observations, protecting the hive, and gathering food. They are also messengers.
Most pixie technology is only useful for pixies. They make what they need, to solve problems and make their lives more comfortable. Technology to better protect the hive from weather changes, to reinforce the structure of the hive, or to store food better. Their pupation silk is capable of conducting energy, which they have used to great effect within their hives, much like electrical wiring. Through the use of magic, silk wiring, and carefully constructed devices, they have also found ways to temper their wax and create new forms of it with unique properties.
Pixies rarely use metal, since thye have no way to forge it without causing serious danger to themselves and their hive, but when they can find it in small pieces that are easier to shape, they use it in their most important technology, such as simple radios and telegraphs. They have also shared this technology with the vertebrate people, and worked alongside them to create larger devices. Pixies have become a staple of every community, thanks to their communications technology.
The single most interesting bit of tech the pixies have created is a device that allows them to communicate with the vertebrate people. The vertebrate people are so limited in their communication, after all, they can't use pheromones or connect with a hive mind. So the pixies have crafted small devices that produce sound when vibrated. Only the most skilled scout pixies can use them to full effect, altering the vibrations of their own bodies to produce a wide variety of sounds rapidly enough to synthesize a spoken voice.
The sound of this synthesized voice is very similar to the robotic monotone of early computer speech, so it can be difficult to understand, but people have gotten used to it.
Pixies continue to perform scientific studies on the vertebrate people, who perform studies on the pixies in return. Now that they are working with each other in a more mutual way, their studies have greatly improved.
While they have no need for names or even pronouns within the hive, scout pixies like to pick names for themselves when they interact with the vettebrate people. They typically pick a name by stealing a random word or phrase they have overheard, one which pleases them and suits their personality in some way.
Example names:
Toss-a-Log. Bundle-Up. Dozen. Drunk-Bastard. Get-Back-Here. Bless. Fresh. What-is-That.
Pixies also avoid using pronouns and filler words when they're using their vibration devices to speak to vertebrate people. They prefer to be as direct and clear as possible.
Pixie coloration varies by region, and each caste of pixie has a different pattern to their coloration.
So far I've only come up with one color variety.

Hey! Its me from the posession ask. Thank you sm for your insights I didn't even consider that it could be perceived that way. I do have some explanation for the some of the questions posed .
The posession IS meant to be something horrible that happens to them. Their character growth was written in later because I wanted them to get something out of this instead of just being beaten completely beaten up by the narrative until they're no longer relavant to the plot. It was like slapping a bandaid on it.
The spirits were non-black just to visually show that they are foreign to the (fictional) country that this story takes place in. This character in question accidentally ended up possessed by studying foreign magic, they didn't seek the spirits out, and the spirits are just using them opportunistically, trying to live after being turned into something less than human. This character becomes a creature that has to consume souls/fuse to inhabit a body, but they're not pupeteered or lead by the other souls the way a traditional possession is portrayed. Not that this matters.
By more bold, I meant a switch from, dangle earrings to a Grace Jones inspired villain, more because I just wanted to draw that than anything else. I personally do struggle with my femininity scrutinized as a bw and I do make an effort to make sure Blackness is centered in the imagery I create.
(Not that that necessarily matters.)
The spirits don't have to be nonblack or even women, and this characters presentation doesn't have to change after the attack, though. And although I'm attached to the idea of them being trans, it's not a plot point in the story and can be changed as well.
Their possession is the initiating factor that drives the MC, who is trying to help them get back to themselves while also trying to protect them, so I do want to keep as much of that story as possible.
If I change the character surrounding this event, do you think it's salvageable?
Also, sorry for the double ask. Feel free to disregard this, I've used enough of your time. Either way, you've given me a lot to think about.
It hurts me that you were gonna let visibly nonblack women become a Grace Jones inspired villain 😭 don't do that to Grace! She is thee Original!
I think if you just let the villain be that Grace Jones-esque character, while Black, yes you could work with something like this. Or, I know you said that them being different was meant to show that they're not from the area, but like... It's a demon. Surely it can take on any form it wants, especially in the face of a potential victim? If Grace Jones is who your Black trans character wants to emulate... Why not?
Say it with me: it DOES matter! The things you're saying, the decisions you're making, do matter! I wouldn't be running a blog on thoughtful Black character design if it didn't! Don't dismiss your thoughts.
But also, why not just take some time and draw the villain character? Like, you want to draw them... Why not just do that? You don't have to wait on story to get the design together, and your research and enjoyment of that process might help you come up with more for your story. Like this isn't a rush or an ordered process!

Grounding versus Adjustment
Puella Magi Madoka Magia Side Story: Magia Record introduces the idea of Adjustment: a procedure performed by a Coordinator or Adjuster that can be done to ‘enhance’ a magical girl’s Soul Gem. This enhancement can come in the form of removing impurities or unlocking further magical potential. Adjustment is also necessary when a magical hero uses their Doppel to avoid succumbing to despair.
Adjustment, as it is portrayed in Puella Magi Madoka Magia Side Story: Magia Record, is not a replacement for professional and personal therapeutic practices or experienced Shadow Work. I would strongly advise any magical hero to have a strong foundation in grounding and shielding practices before engaging in any serious work. If you’d like, imagine that your therapist, social worker, or other professional therapeutic practitioner is your Coordinator—they are there to provide you as a magical hero an essential service.
Grounding, on the other hand, is something any magical hero can do and is a foundational technique for any practicing magician. To put it simply, grounding is a way of eliminating excess energy and tempering high emotions that you may have stored up during a ritual or a working. If you have practiced centering as an energy technique, the fundamentals of grounding are simple: remember how you learned to manipulate energy when you learned to center? That's what you'll do to ground, only instead of drawing that energy inside you, you'll push it out—whether that is into the void, into an object, or to be carried off by the elements. Strong visualizations certainly help with grounding but also try something physical or tangible to strengthen its effects; try using your hands or your feet to push out that extra energy and feel it drain into the earth. You can also engage other senses in your grounding like by using cleansing herbs as an incense or spray, or by eating a comforting and antioxidant rich food like dark chocolate.
I often shield as well as part of my grounding practice. This helps protect my magical and physical body that may have become raw from high energy and emotions. Shielding is a way of protecting yourself from psychic, mental, or magical attack by creating an energy barrier around yourself that others cannot penetrate. When shielding, I do not completely close myself out from the world and others around me—I’m simply fortifying my defenses while I am recuperating.

Sorry, but can I ask this question? How do you imagine fell and swap options/versions of tear sans? (swap version of tear sans is not Napstablook! but his cousin Mettaton! Mettablook? Hutstablook or whatever?)
Oh wow. Tear variant/different AU questions already? Consider my answer a headcanon, as I'm not gonna be creating and developing these AUs.
Fell Tear loathes Sans, because canon UF!Blooky loathes anyone affiliated with Asgore/Alphys. But in reality it's somewhat of a love-hate situation. Sans has qualities UF!Tear finds themselves respecting and admiring, but they can't help but hate the guy regardless for the side he found himself on. They pretty much become a Sans to show they can do everything better, while trying to gain said qualities themselves. The biggest one being how Fell Sans gets general respect from monsters. Monsters just avoid ever messing with the skeleton brothers. UF!Tear could be a little jealous that a part of it feels handed over, just because of who their brother is. Even though realistically, Sans had to work for it too. UF!Tear also respects Sanses visual 'scare factor'. Underfell is all about looking edgy and more intimidating than Undertale cast. I imagine that UF!Tear design would likely wear some torn jacket (like their blooky body sheet). It used to be this brand new looking jacket. It ends up badly torn in places from magic attacks in UF!Tear's attempts of 'getting respect'. But because of how painfully honest they are about their opinions and not keeping it to themselves, they end up hurting others. It results in a bunch of fights. They are surprisingly not that bad of a person despite it all, as long as you aren't on their bad side. Might still say some hurtful things to you though.
Swap Tear/Mettaton Tear would just have to be something about entertainment. In Undertale, just like Tear did, Mettaton already acts on their greatest wish. They want to be a celebrity, known in the entertainment industry. Maybe Swap Tear gets their body for the same reasons the game Mettaton got his. Maybe they are in the stage of just deciding to act on their goals and they see this tiny skeleton with oh so much energy. And every time chasing their dream gets hard, they remember Sans powering through everything. And it fuels them to always strive for more, always try that much harder. They need to work harder to become a popular entertainer. And that means they need to pass the barrier to get even humans to watch them. Swap Tear needs to be 'the best of both worlds' to achieve true greatness. But they also wanna be acknowledged and liked by Sans. And what is the closest, not-craftable, monster body to resemble a human? a skeleton. And who are they trying to impress the most? a skeleton. Probably fights the other 'mettaton' on the popularity leaderboards.

some blackinnon headcanons
- they don’t use terms of endearment on each other. i believe sirius use them in a sardonic way, like if he calls you “darling” you are in trouble for sure. for marls, she’s the type to call little kids “sweetheart” when they come up to her with their troubles.
- sirius call her mckinnon most of the time in front of others o public situations and marlene/marls in private o delicate situations. for marlene is sirius most of the time, unless she’s trying to make a point, then she calls him black.
- marlene is not as confident as sirius but knows how to play at her strengths. quidditch it’s a big thing for her during school, but later on it’s also incantations so she is very good at certain types of magic. she’s particularly good at conjuring shielding charms. i like to think of it as a projection of her own heart.
- that last one also plays a part when sirius thinks of her after finding out she died. he can’t help but think if it were any other curse but the killing one, she might’ve survived.
- in general, marls has a bit of trouble with defense magic. she can protect and deflect easily, but attacks are more difficult for her. it’s not until she’s confronted with DE attacking people in front of her that she gets better at it. she’s better at doing things for others than herself in that sense (then again, marlene might’ve died protecting her parents or brothers).
- sirius is good at everything as we know, he’s annoying like that.
- marlene is really tall for a girl, almost the same height as most boys which is annoying cause she likes taller guys. enters: sirius black, annoyingly tall for everyone except for marlene.
- marlene doesn’t looks like it, but sirius is often times amaze at how strong she is. she doesn’t hold back either, how else could she be a good beater otherwise? also, has impecable aim.
- marlene gets better at healing charms, potentially even considering becoming a healer. not because she wants to, but because someone has to. it also has to do with the fact that sirius doesn’t particularly care for his own injuries, doesn’t seem to grasp the concept of being unable to defend anyone properly unless he’s in top shape. honestly marls doesn’t care either, so sirius has to learn a few charms to heal her too in the end. it’s the only way they allow for it to happen, by way of taking care of each other.
- sirius was the first to realize they were something worthwhile. he’s not really the type of guy to pour his heart out, but at some point he does ‘cause his running out of ways of showing marlene he’s not going anywhere. probably the most frightening thing he ever did in that regard.
- marlene is not exactly the prettiest girl in school, but she’s the type of girl annoyingly label as “one of the guys” except said guys actually wants to go out with her. it’s more her vibe than anything else.
- visually they are the complete opposite: dark/light hair/eyes, sharp/soft features (i have a whole stupid canon of the blacks actually being black that could also work here, but i’ll keep it that way for now) also marlene hair is long when sirius is short and vice verse.
- marls doesn’t like to read much and sirius doesn’t nap often, but on the rare occasions that happens, sirius lays on her chest and marls read above his head.
- they both get kinda lost without a sense of purpose so whenever they feel the other may be as risk of spiraling, they come up with crazy plans or invent something they need the help of the other. they know is a lie, but play along anyway. it helps.

Manifestation Without Woo: Make It Fun!
Just because we're not getting on board with all of that quantum multiverse woowoo and operating from a purely psychological model doesn't mean we can't have fun. We're not Puritans, after all. (Or at least, I hope we're not!)
Providing you don't have any mental health issues that could make this a problem (such as problems with psychosis), you can come up with a fun imaginary paradigm. For example, you might try and come up with a character who embodies all of the characteristics you wish to cultivate in yourself, and then pretend that you are that character. You don't need to have perfect faith that you are this character or something; just know that the simple act of pretending to be them and getting fully into character will make your brain start rewiring itself. Just make sure you watch yourself for mental fatigue and take breaks if you start getting tired. Also take note - if you're autistic and trying to embody a character based on autistic behaviors, you could give yourself autistic burnout. Basically, if it hurts when you put it on, don't force yourself to wear it.
You could also do your affirmations as if they're spells. You could write them into rhyming couplets and chant them while witchily waving your hands around. You can make amulets that remind you of your intentions by putting them through an enchanting ritual. (Basic spellcrafting theory of "use colors, symbols, shapes, etc. that you associate with your desired goal" applies.)
If visualizing yourself surrounded by sparkling light as you repeat your affirmations helps get you into a good mindset, go for it!
If pretending you're a magical girl and visualizing your negative self-beliefs as monsters trying to attack you while visualizing the counternarratives you push back against them with as magical girl attacks is fun, do it!
If imagining yourself as a pop star and singing your script as a song feels good, have at it!
Try experimenting and see what works for you!

hi! i touch on a lot of points in this other ask, but a few specific learning techniques i abide by are:
parkinson's law. parkinson's law states that work expands to fill the time. basically if you have an essay that's due in a week, it will magically take you one week to get it done, even if the task itself could've been done in one day. to counter this i just set artifical deadlines for myself--even if an essay is due in a week, my personal deadline has it due in two days.
prime your brain prior to learning. if you need to study a biology chapter, pre-skim it the night before. this is not the time to go into detail--it's the time to familiarize yourself with the overview of the topic, so you should only be making a quick scan of the chapter. another priming method is to make a concept map of topics before diving into a chapter. as you skim write down key terms haphazardly, google those you don't recognize, and draw a concept map linking them together. this is effective bc it requires you to actually put effort into connecting the topics, takes no longer than 15 minutes, and speeds up the learning process that follows. it doesn't matter if you find out you're wrong once you dive in; what's important is you're actively thinking of how these topics coexist, as opposed to mindlessly taking notes or highlighting only to forget what you learned a couple hours later. i'm also a fan of concept maps bc i get to go back and highlight stuff i'm weak in, which is always a plus.
if you like to take notes, use it as another means of active recall. don't just passively take notes as you go along. what i like to do is i read a paragraph, close the book, then try to take down notes based off memory alone. this helps me both phrase the topic in my own words and realize what my learning gaps are, rather than just passively summarize without putting effort into truly understanding/memorizing something. anything i get wrong i hammer into my brain until i can't get it wrong anymore.
take notes effectively. our brain does not learn in sentences and paragraphs. it learns in bullet points, diagrams, and figures--and that's how i like to frame my notes. first i ask myself if i actually need to take notes to begin with, or if there are online notes out there i can use to save time (which, as a stem student, there typically are). if i do decide to take notes, i never mindlessly summarize. i always condense the material into bullet points, diagrams, concept maps, or visual representations. i also like to phrase my notes as questions rather than just passive summaries, so that when i review them i'm already testing myself in a way. most people would not understand my notes bc they're either very low-yield stuff, stuff i'm weak in, or bare-bones fragments of information.
always prioritize weaknesses. if you're weaker at chapter 18 of your textbook vs chapter 1, maybe start with chapter 18. don't spend 6 hours taking notes on chapter 1 if you're already strong in chapter 1. always attack your weaknesses first.
practice practice practice!! so so important. i owe all my As to mock exams, quizzes i make myself, end-of-chapter questions etc etc. imo practice matters a lot more than passive content review.
interleaving concepts helps with retention. an example of this is i like to do biology and chemistry one day, biochemistry and organic chemistry the next day, physics and psychology the day after... i'm not just doing biology all day, every day. another thing i like to do if i'm in a massive rut is i hop between tons of different subjects on the same day, which keeps me from getting bored/helps me understand the subjects better through distinguishing their differences.
retrospective timetable. an example of this is if i find i'm pretty weak in a particular physics topic, the next few days will disproportionately focus on physics over other subjects. inversely, if i just breezed through a biology chapter, the next few days will have less biology than initially planned. i'm constantly going back and revising my study timetable based on my performance of the day, rather than relying on a rigid prospective timetable that doesn't take into account my progress.
less passive learning, more active. spaced repetition is a big one. i love anki for this bc there's an algorithm that dictates how often topics come up again based on how well you answer them. other methods include active recall, having friends quiz you, and trying to teach the topic to others (or the plushie in your bedroom haha). if you find you're struggling to simplify topics and explain them, that's a sign you don't understand them very well yourself.

The Dragon's Claw: An Exercise for Dragon Magic
A few paths of dragon magic will have the practitioner make use of some sort of tool with the purpose of directing and manipulating energy/intent/will/what-have-you: usually a staff or a blade of some kind. But what would a dragon use for the same purpose? Well, the perfect equivalent is at hand… literally. 
It's not so different from some techniques in modern witchcraft that have you use your finger in place of a wand/blade for those who practice on the down-low. In fact, it's heavily similar, in that at its most basic, the only tool required is your finger(s) and some visualization/energy work. If you do want to get fancy with it, you can utilize some sort of claw-like adornments as a physical component, be it naturally long nails, acrylic nails shaped like claws, those gardening gloves with the claws on them for digging, or some of those claw rings from the edgy mall shops that were popular a while back (or if you were like me in middle school, wasting a couple rolls of scotch tape to make long tape claws on each finger and coloring them with sharpie). Point is, the physical claws are simply a fun option: the meat of this is more energetic. 
I also do want to preface this: while this is ideal for dragonkin, it can technically be used by anyone. 
So, how do we do this? 
To start, you need to approximate the feel of claws in some way: those physical components I mentioned were optional can help with this, but curling your fingers like you’re about to rip someone's soft vital bits out also helps. If you’re the sort that experiences ‘phantom claws’ as a natural phenomenon, that’s what we’re attempting to induce. If you practice any sort of body energy awareness (ie. Robert Bruce’s NEW energy techniques are good for this, if you’re unfamiliar), you can use this to project your energy beyond your fingertips for a sort of energetic claw extension. If you regularly work with dragons and have a good relationship, you can try asking them to lend you their claws in a sense. You can even create a chant to help you focus (“My will is iron, my word is law, magic flows from dragon’s claw.” or anything you like) In any case, the specific method you use to ‘feel’ claws isn’t as important as the end result. If you can sense them, that’s the point. 
Now, you can basically use your fingers/claws for much the same magical purposes as you would a blade, minus sharp physical cutting (though if you did opt for the physical accoutrement and it’s capable of it, it’ll add a decent dragony boost to anything you carve into a candle or other softer materials). 
Examples: cutting energetic threads or doorways (creation thereof), magical defense/attack, drawing of sigils and ritual circles, etc. If you can think of other uses, feel free to try them out and see how it works. 
Once done with this, you can expel this energetic augment a few ways: by shaking your hands, like you’re shaking water off of them, with the intention of the energy dissipating; by drawing the energy back into the rest of your body; or just let them fade on their own. For those who normally experience phantom claws, well, no worries for you! It’s business as usual.

It’s hard to do characters that are flashy and over the top while also having them with a job that ostensibly requires them to be stealthy most of the time. More often than not, this is played for laughs when the former quality absolutely shattering any illusions of succeeding at the latter.
However, it is important to remember that there are many ways to conceal oneself, and one such way is distraction and discombobulation.
Plenty achieve this with fire or various tricks to inhibit the senses, but for characters with magical abilities, sometimes the answer is a little more green.
Originating with ghorans and almost certainly limited to other planty folk like leshies or perhaps the very rare humanoid, I present the petal ninja, a specialist in conjuring and transmuting oneself into clouds of petals and pollen to befuddle foes and avoid notice.
No doubt you’ve seen plenty of visual media where a character vanishes or reappears in a cloud of leaves or petals (most commonly sakura blossoms), as well as using such whirlwinds of plant matter to befuddle their foes, and that’s exactly what these ninja do, tipping this particular sort of ninja into the “supernatural badass” zone.
Some might fight to protect their people using subterfuge, while others may be little more than mercenaries. Regardless, petal ninjas has a reputation for being able to sneak into impossible places, perhaps more so than even other shinobi.
So, with that in mind, let’s take a look and see what they have to work with!
With an expenditure of ki and focus, these ninja can conjure up swirling storms of petals nearby. At their base level, they provide concealment for them, making them hard to hit and easy to hide in. However, by focusing, they can add in additional effect, ranging from being near-blinding to infused with toxic pollen to even be mesmerizing, forcing foes to make saves against increasingly more harmful effects. However, this comes at a cost. The more they focus on the potency of their clouds, the less they can focus on their enemy’s vitals, reducing the amount of harm they can do with attacks that strike for their foe’s weak points until the storm passes.
They can also transform themselves into a cloud of petals for a few seconds, becoming insubstantial but not invicible. However, it can be difficult to tell them apart from any other cluster of plant matter, making it easy for them to vanish, drop into hiding and strike foes from a new angle, or simply use it to pass into a secure location through holes small enough to let delicate flower petals through.
They also have an ability to alter local light levels, creating areas of darkness or brighter light as needed, perhaps to thwart enemy ninja or harm the eyes of light-sensitive foes.
While a ninja thrives on being completely undetected, these shinobi specialize in battlefield control when stealth fails and they must fight. The conjured storms of petals are perfect for combat stealth to get a foe to lose track of you while you set up sneak attack after sneak attack, and adding additional effects is useful for debilitating or suppressing foes when corralling and weakening foes is more important than setting up the killing blow. What’s more, the ability to briefly become a cloud of petals is not just good for mobility, but also for getting out of a scrape while simultaneously setting up for another attack or clean getaway. The ability to alter light levels is… neat, but only super useful if the lighting is already within one stage of what you want it to be. Spending multiple ki points to try and turn an area of bright light into total darkness is a waste. Beyond that, however, I recommend a build with other battlefield control options, as well as tricks that add additional debilitating effects to your sneak attack, negating the reduced damage that comes with making use of their abilities.
Vanishing into flower petals and reappearing again is a powerful aesthetic that I’m sure we can all appreciate, and that signature style no doubt is very precious to the ghoran people, a thing that they created, which despite being unique enough to put the potential blame on their kind after a job, makes it perfect for sending a message when needed.
Having dedicated their life to protecting societal order, but realizing that doing so meant sometimes in “pruning” undesirable elements, Serenity the aphorite chose to become a shinobi, one specializing in using their cosmic dust to befuddle foes and vanish from sight. Now, they serve as a mercenary, taking contracts against anarchists and those who abuse the law alike, as long as their client provides incontrovertible proof first.
The ghoran village of Tsubaki has long been guarded from intruders by it’s guardian shinobi, that use their vanishing arts to lure those that seek their village astray, getting them lost in the confusing forests until their expire. However, this has led to a growing problem with trailgaunts, as the poor souls they abandon arise as perpetually lost but ever malevolent undead.
After nearly being killed by assassins despite being a humble locksmith, the ghoran Aelgar is forced to seek out a master of dream magic to delve into the vague memories of his very first life and incarnation. In this dream, he is confronted by a powerful ninja that vanishes and reappears in a cloud of blossoms, and the shadow of the one this past self wronged.

I think Crowley thinks Ciel is a pretty capable boy and definitely doesn't think he's some kind of silly kid. He knows that Ciel is capable of more and will do whatever he instructs him to do! Crowley is probably interested in Ciel's seal on his eye and maybe he even wanted to know more about the seal than about the world Ciel came from. In any case, we don't even know Crowley's true motives in the game..!

I think it would be interesting for Divus to test Ciel in terms of studying. Perhaps he treated him more tenderly at first, but when he sees that Ciel is really smart and purposeful, he will treat him the same as all other students. Divus would also additionally teach Ciel! Ciel would work hard to get good grades in Divus classes 💖✨

Ciel would definitely spend more time with him than with any other teacher. Ciel would be more comfortable with him than with other teachers. I can't say that Trein perceived Ciel as a grandson or something like that, but he definitely treated him well and warmly. He would also additionally teach Ciel. They could communicate well and even make friends. Train also wouldn't let his cat get too close to Ciel🥰

THAT WOULD BE FUN AHAHA.. Vargas would definitely annoy Ciel. Ciel does not like to exercise, especially as much as Vargas trains. Vargas would like to train Ciel, perhaps even for his own good, so that he could somehow fight back as a bully. But considering Ciel's thinness, it would really be difficult. Perhaps someday Ciel would have an attack due to overloading in physical education, because he would really try to succeed in everything. Then Vargas changed his mind and did not demand too much from Ciel 🥺💗💗💗

Why not? Hehe! Sam would have called Ciel the little devil or given a different nickname as the little devil's child because Ciel definitely stands out from the others. It seems to me that all the teachers, as professional magicians, have noticed that Ciel is not an ordinary boy and he definitely does not tell something💔
In short, NRC teachers know that Ciel is associated with some kind of dark magic but don't want to scare other students/they don't have time to deal with it. I feel that Sebastian's appearance will be something special...🖤

Do you have any tip for working in RPG maker?
Don't be afraid to use the default assets. they're there to be used.
javascript stuff can feel really daunting at first but once you start to get it you're either going to start using it to your advantage or want to remake your game in its own engine. do not restart from scratch getting it all set up is going to take a long time if you're not like really experienced with that sorta thing. i sure as hell ain't gonna do that.
plugins can be your bestie (like the big yanfly pack for MV was instrumental in making a lot of mechanics i wanted) but don't be afraid to make things simple so that you dont need them.
if you're trying to figure out how to balance your games enemies i suggest learning how to use a spreadsheet editor to calculate how much damage you're going to do to an enemy with charts and stuff so you can better visualize how many hits something to takes to kill and in what contexts (ie: magical vs physical damage, elemental weaknesses and resistance, buffs and debuffs). because rpg maker lets you just straight up write the damage formula you could just make the baseline for damage be "attack - defense" and work with really small numbers like paper mario does.
and especially if you're new to making games in general you wanna have a small endpoint. like "only one or two dungeons" (preferably one) or like with The Unlife of Gorlak "30 day time limit" (3 or 7 days would also be a good short one if you wanted a time based game)
kinda the main things i think of when working with rpg maker idk if you had something more specific in mind. hope it helps!
