hey ❤️🦇 can i ask 1, 15 & 23 for that ask game?
GASP!!! Omg yes absolutely thank you so much!!! 🤍🤍🦇🤍🤍
1: what’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?
Riggs detests having nothing to do. Unless he’s trying to sleep, or is otherwise incapacitated, then he’s doing something to keep himself occupied. The longest he could just sit and done nothing would probably be about 20 minutes, though even then he’d fidget, probably bounce his leg or look around the room and get a little lost in his own thoughts. Ghast though? That woman is like a house cat. If she doesn’t have something to do she is straight vibing, do not @ her, she is chilling
15: How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot or do they rehearse it in their mind first?
it depends on the situation really. In every day conversation Riggs doesn’t really think about what he says, just being straightforward and saying whatever comes to mind when it pops in. His filter only really comes in when in more serious context, and even then it’s a bit faulty, sometimes wording things wrong or using less than gentle phrasing. He thinks over his words when necessary though, and is usually able to get out of the issue with a conversation- strange as the conversation may turn out Ghast, meanwhile, thinks her words through, but she’s also incredibly blunt when delivering them. She’s lived long enough to not care about what others think, she means what she says and she says what she means, if people don’t like it then that’s on them. That’s not to say she’s cold, she knows how to read a room and can bite her tongue if it’s not the time.
23: How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?
I actually haven’t thought about this before! I think Riggs would grow a little distant, attempting to block out the source of the feeling rather than examine why he’s feeling that way. It’s an uncomfortable feeling, especially if it’s towards something or someone that he’s on good terms with. For example, someone might introduces him to their family, only for him to avoid that same person for an uncertain amount of time as it reminds him of something he might have once had, and something he wants again but doesn’t know how to get.
Ghast meanwhile would find a way to one-up whatever she’s envious of. It becomes a competition, whatever it is someone did then she can do it better, she can make something better than what they made, she can find something better than what they found. If it’s not something she can create herself though, then her frustration is obvious, though it’ll eventually ebb away into quiet resentment which she holds onto until either enough time passes or she gets her own strike of luck/ accomplishes something.

i would do anything for more pathos and dbubs interactions, they have my whole heart
Tumblr media
well i don’t exactly take requests, it’s more just people sending in asks that happen to inspire me to write. and it’s not a guaranteed thing; i’ll hoard the asks in my drafts until i find the time/energy/motivation to write (i’m still sitting on some from over a year ago hafshdgah)
but i’ve really been feeling the pathbubs love lately so i got a little something for y’all :3
~*~
dbubs wipes his forehead with the back of his hand, leaning back to admire his masterpiece.
it took him five freaking days to gather the materials (only stopping to sleep, of course). chests and chests of diorite, oh yes, mined deep in a cave beneath the jungle. rows and rows of spruce trees grown by hand- they stuck out like sore thumbs in all the natural foliage. stacks and stacks of colored glass, the sand emptied from the bottom of several little lagoons. and then he had to clear out a space, of course. a pretty big space. which unfortunately… meant a lotta choppin’.
it’d pained him to take down so many trees, but it couldn’t be helped, really. jungles are just too dense for any real building. it’s- it’s really not a big deal, the jungle’s huge, it’ll be fine! it’s fine. what’s a few trees, right? he’s not gonna- the beauty of this place, the natural sort of… whimsy and- and majesty, it’ll still be good. he’s just gonna enhance it with some of his own uh, creative… work. yeah. and- well, if there’s anyone in hels who understands how to build in harmony with nature, sure enough, it’s ol’ dbubs!
anyway, he did that, and then the real work started. another three days of solid building. which- it’s not a massive build, alright, it’s- it’s respectable. two stories. maybe three, with the… the crenellations and spires and things. but building ain’t exactly the easiest thing to do, in the jungle. there’s terrain difficulties, big trees and mushrooms and things, and mobs, of course. hoglins, always stickin’ their noses in his business… uh, the ocelots and parrots aren’t really a problem, no, just a little annoying. oh, but then- there was a brief period where a ghostly- a- a ghast spawned outside the jungle’s border and then sorta… drifted into the air above the canopy, and it freaking- it took potshots at him every dang time he climbed up his scaffolding! (he killed it in one shot, of course, first try).
but it was worth it. it’s a lovely temple, a perfect temple. overgrown with vines and moss, with specifically- uh, specially placed cracks and holes to make it look all in… dis- disarray? dishevelment… or uh, abandonment? he even- this is real cool- he put a small custom tree growin’ out the side. the stained glass windows catch the light beautifully, yes, what gorgeous- he really outdid himself, with this one! his other builds, of course, they’re still… uh, wait, did- he can’t quite remember, actually, when his last build was. or, what it was. where did he… wait…
… anyway! his glorious temple is done, and he can’t wait to show patho the next time he visits.
should be any day, now.
~*~
the jungle stirs.
it has been uneasy for many days and nights, now. hissing and flinching as trees are ripped from its shell. groaning and chafing beneath the weight of unfamiliar blocks piled on its surface. its caves and lakes are hollowed out, a gnawing void at its core.
it is disappointed, but not surprised, that its player has tried again. it is in their nature, players, to spread and dominate every biome they encounter. it knew this when it decided to claim him.
natural resources, it can replenish easily. dirt, sand, and nylium will bubble and shift to fill the scarred land. fungi, trees, and bushes will spawn and sprout to cover the barren hills. but that… thing. that blight. the jungle cannot remove the machinations of players, not alone.
it may become a hoglin, to root and dig at the foundations. it may become a ghast, to breathe down fire and ruin. but these are crude forms. the best suited hands to dismantle this structure are the ones that built it in the first place.
the jungle becomes a player; its favorite player. at the dawn of a new day, it rises from sleep in a body that is foreign yet familiar, a fond but distant extension of the whole. vines and limbs move in tandem grace, guiding his feet back to the scene of his heresy. with strong, callused hands, it begins to pick the structure apart, block by block. no mob interferes, and there is no need for food. when the jungle sleeps, it merely drops him where he stands until the cycling of the unseen moon has run its course, before it raises him to his task again.
after days of endless work, every single unnatural block has been removed. whatever did not fit his inventory is left to despawn. the jungle walks its player back to his den (this structure is permissible, a nest among the trees) and finally releases him to sleep. now it turns its focus to regrowth and rebirth, healing over the ugly scar left on its terrain.
the jungle spends no energy on retribution or resentment. it will teach its player this lesson as many times as it needs to.
~*~
dbubs pulls patho through the jungle, excitement bubbling in his chest.
“okay, so- it’s right through here,” he calls over his shoulder. “my perfect- i- i built a whole temple, a sorta fallen temple, y’know. and not to took my own horn, here, but i- eughh, i- i think it’s some of my best work yet!”
patho’s chuckling behind his mask as he lets dbubs pull him along. “oh, yeah? what, uh… what about this build is so special, then?”
dbubs actually pauses at that, giving patho a shrewd look. “y’know, i- why do i get the sense you don’t believe me?” he puts his hands on his hips. “you- i build! i- i good builder!”
patho waves him off. “no, no, i know, i’m- it’s an honest question!” he defends, voice lined with amusement.
“oh-kayyy.” dbubs makes a show of rolling his eyes before resuming his trek, patho dutifully plodding after him. “well, then, to answer your question, i think it’s the uh… sorta vibe, or atmosphere of the build? ‘cause you- it’s like, you’re goin’ through this thick jungle, right, all wilderness, and then- all of a sudden, ka-blammo!” he throws his arms out, nearly smacking patho in the face with one of his vines. “there’s this majestic, ruined temple just there, all by its lonesome, overrun by nature. so- it makes you think, sure enough, like- what happened? who built it? where are they now? so it’s- hyeughh, it’s got a- a mystique, i feel…”
“oh, i see,” patho hums. “well, i can’t wait to see it.”
“yeah, yeah,” dbubs huffs, pushing a tangle of weeping vines out of the way, “you’re about to eat your words, mister! ‘cause heeeeere we are!”
he bursts out from the treeline to his temple clearing- only to be greeted by more jungle. seamless, unbroken jungle. he stops short, doing a double- no, a triple take. ‘cause he could’a sworn this is where he built it, wasn’t it? what’s the big idea?!
patho comes to a stop beside him and lets out a whistle, low and steady. “i- i see what you mean about the mystique, dbubs.”
“wait- no.” dbubs blinks, shakes his head. his chest is tight. “this isn’t- i- i built it here, i swear! it was perfect, it was beautiful-”
“i’m sure it was,” patho says easily, wrapping an arm around dbubs’s shoulders. he turns his head to nuzzle against dbubs’s temple, a masked substitution for a kiss. “c’mon, it’ll be dark soon, yeah? let’s head back.” his tone is knowing, almost consoling, and it feels wrong-
“but…” dbubs wavers, suddenly feeling like he’s on the edge of a cliff, grasping at air. “i- i wasn’t…” he pulls his inventory up, frantically scanning, ‘cause he’s sure that he- he knows that he-
his inventory is filled with stacks of diorite and spruce and colored glass. he inhales sharply.
“i dreamt it,” he announces, loud and abrupt. he gives patho a sheepish look, despite the relief that rushes through him. “i must’ve- listen, i know i- quit laughin’! ohh, you-!”
patho’s laugh is soft as he tugs dbubs into an embrace. “alright, sorry… hey, how about we build it tomorrow, okay?” his mismatched eyes gaze down at dbubs with fondness- and yet, there’s something else there. something almost… sad.
dbubs pushes the thought away, flicking a vine through the air. “oh, great,” he says sarcastically, even as he allows patho to steer them back into the jungle towards his base, hand-in-hand. “yeah, that’s- just what i need, you sittin’ around and crit- crita- critiquing my build! ‘oh- oh, why’d you put that block there, dbubs? why this wood type, dbubs?’ sheesh, gimme a break!”
“so, like… does that mean you don’t want my help?”
“well, hang on- i didn’t say that!”
“okay, just checkin’. you know, i don’t have to-”
“oh, stop it! you can- yes, okay, you may help me, please. for goodness sakes.”
“that’s what i thought.”
dbubs grumbles in feigned annoyance as contentment slowly seeps back in to wash away his earlier unease. it’s fine. this is fine! he just dreamt the whole building process, again, he wasn’t- he didn’t mean to lie. he just… must’ve been really excited about it, is all. yeah.
he glances back at the build site. “but maybe,” he pipes up tentatively, “uh- maybe… we build it somewhere else. i just- there’s a lotta trees to clear out there, y’know?”
patho’s cybernetic hand tightens around dbubs’s organic one, a comforting squeeze. “sure thing, dbubs.”
dbubs exhales slowly, the last of his worry falling away as he walks deeper into the jungle.
they’ll build it tomorrow. he can’t wait to show patho.

I just have a dramatic fanfic idea about caitlyn and reader (or oc whichever you like) that with some magic stuff (idk phallus hextech stuff mix with her dna something they use when theyre having heat action) caitlyn impregnates reader/oc and wanted to tell her the news and ofc she went to the kiramman estate to bring the news , whether she like the notion of having a baby or not shes keeping it, reader/oc thinks its a blessing of lifr. Cassandra, whos the one who open the door, is not really fond of reader/oc because yknow, shes not from a well of family (either modern au or same universe the fic sets) and have specific someone she'd like her to marry. Shes not gonna say get out of here ofcourse thats just blatantly ridiculous and out of character for Cassandra, she lets her inside the house (although its written in her face that she doesnt like her presense). Takes a seat, served confectionary food by the maids or smth and drinks tea infront of Cassandra sweating like crazy because its quite obvious shes gonna be interogated by her. Then Cassandra starts a small talk asking "What brings you here at our home at this hour Ms.R(Short for reader/oc i am tired of typing)?" the questioning starts and her stomach is feeling heavy by the dread that the news shes gonna say if she knows it. But she gets there slowly like "Oh Miss Cassandra, im just here to meet caitlyn and have a talk with her and maybe spend the afternoon together" yknow, delaying the inevitable and trying to divert the conversation so that she can leave the house and comeback later when caitlyn is there so shes the first one that will know. But she couldnt, so the conversation marches and slipped that she got something important to tell, cassandra coaxed her into telling and talking like shes ok and approve caitlyns relations with R/oc and dropped the huge news that shes carrying caitlyns child. Cassandra's flabber was ghasted ofcourse, she doesnt approve this situation she thinks r/oc just gonna freeload from them and the mood goes reaally fucking heavy r/oc felt it then cassandra became honest that "to be completIy frank, Ms.R/Oc, this will be a hit to caitlyns career (spoiler shes 27 here in this au rn idk what shes yapping but whatever sis) and this will not be good going forward for the Kirammans, you bring shame and no prestige whatsoever if caitlyn ties the knot with your (she laughs) humble self and family." she dropped this line like youre watching a korean soap opera. Then propose that she will give her money and funding for her child but she have to break up with caitlyn and never tell her that their love have produced a life/tell her she never loved her yknow cassandra she hits the jugular arteries (if not shell find a way to make her abort the child and mess with her familys small business/the employment of her family from a workplace where cassandra have an acquintance who she can ruin the repuation with to lose the job and have an accident where along the way the pregnancy the baby dies of mishaps or smth and make caitlyn suffer(idk what plot to give her on how to make her suffer but yeah think of smth here for the high stakes)) so as much as she loves to have a family with caitlyn she did that because she loves her. Idk how to write in a beautiful way that itll show that this hurts to break up with caitlyn and says she never loved her but yeah the deed is done. R/oc meets cassandra again handing the money to her praising what she did but she just thrown it back to her(she have principles baby)saying that shes keeping the child whether shes poor or rich shell weather through it because shes/hes (the baby) the last symbol of love she have for caitlyn but she can never interact with the child and never tell them this side of their family(theyre dead to the kid)
Timeskip atleast 3 years, cassandra and r/oc meets again,(kinda but not really) she sees r/oc checking out store with her kid but what really hits her is that the kid (her granddaughter she had a girl) is like a spitting image of caitlyn but also have her white strands of hair and that fucked her up (she couldve been called grandma rn) . R/oc raised the child with her family (theyre just living paycheck to paycheck sometimes it aint enough but they dont starve/me too man) caitlyns kid is just above malnourished and that also broked her. R/oc noticed someones stare at her then she sees cassandra, she didnt just flee or anything and just greet her but the kid ask "mama, who is this person?", "just someone i know before" then says goodbye in a polite way, the kid got curious but never really prod that topic and cassandra went home in a somber mood (caitlyn followed her whims to a tee after the incident except for her line of work shes sheriff caitlyn still, she became sad so she just went along whatever marriage partner her mother wanted) and it all came back to cassandra that she ruined her child and her grandchildren
Damn thats a long yap idk if anyone will read this i just need to get it out of my head and if somebody can make a real fic from this my life is yours

post-finale headcanons pt 3: snow is a linguist special edition
nightingale kingdom did a lot of trade with the nether (for example, for chilies and other spices, hence fenris' canonical high spice tolerance). at that point, overworld common had already become the lingua franca of the nether, so a pidgin never needed to develop, but there was still a lot of cross-linguistic exchange. sayings and words from the nightingale dialect of common made their way into the dialects of the piglin communities in the associated part of the nether, and vice versa. wanda gets very thrown off at the occasional piglin words that fenris uses like he was born speaking them.
piglin has templatic morphology!
branching off of that, like some of the semitic languages in the real world, ancient piglin writings have no vowels, just consonants. however, as the different cultures in the nether started interacting with each other more, piglin adopted putting vowels into writing from ghast, to make communication less of a hassle. it started with just trade documents and other things that would need to be read by outsiders, but eventually trickled down to all writing.
telchin don't need air to breathe underwater, but their voiceboxes are very similar to humans in that they need to expel air to create vibrations. so underwater, their lungs become solely used to hold reserve air for speech. thankfully most live near underwater vents, so there are plenty of places to refill their lungs (you figure out the science of how minecraft people gain air from underwater bubbles. i don't want to). it is a common trope in telchin live theatre, especially comedies, for a character to be arguing, suddenly stop, swim off a bit, and spend a moment glaring at their opponent from an underwater vent, before swimming back and picking up right where they left off.
spoken telchin's phonetic inventory is influenced by the environment in multiple ways. sounds that travel better in in water are used much more. even overworld common cognates that have sounds that are a part of the inventory may be adapted to travel better if they're used more often, or in high stress situations.
telchin has a lot* of vowels. so many.
*a lot of vowels is actually not as impressive to native english speakers, as i'm sure most of you reading this are. english has i think 12 vowels naturally occuring in it? but the average number for a language to have is somewhere around 6. for the hell of it, let's say telchin has between 16 and 20, to preserve that wow factor.
to further take advantage of the auditory qualities of vowels, spoken telchin has contrastive tone. with the huge number of possible vowels, then, a large percentage of telchin syllables are just V. they have CV and CVC syllables, but many words are just strings of Vs (or vowels and semivowels, i suppose, since they'd be kind of necessary to facilitate the flow of speech)
when telchin does make use of consonants, it's mostly fricatives and stops. again, because sound is dampened underwater, sounds that involve a pronounced cut off of airflow or a lot of vibration are preferable.
words that express a lot of emotion in telchin just happen to have a lot of fricatives. the turbulent airflow of those make for a lot of bubbles, so it's a joke in telchin that you see that someone's yelling at you before you hear it.
some explanations of terms below the cut-
pidgin: a "language" that's actually just a mashup of two languages to allow for communication between two groups. these happen when two groups first start interacting; once time goes on and it (possibly) develops its own syntax and processes, and begins to have native speakers, it's no longer a pidgin, it's a creole.
lingua franca: an existing language that two or more groups decide to have in common and speak as is to allow for communication and trade. in the modern western world, english serves this purpose, but in the early roman empire (at least for writing) it was greek, and a bunch of nations in western north america have a signed lingua franca, not a spoken one: Plains Indian Sign Language.
templatic morphology: an alternate way of adding meaning and inflecting words to affix morphology (where you add prefixes and suffixes (and also infixes and circumfixes). for example, adding the -s plural suffix to cat to get cats.) instead, under this system, root words are just chains of consonants, and which vowels you slot in determine how you're modifying the meaning. arabic is one language that does this!
phonetic inventory: the set of sounds that make up a specific languages, out of all sounds used in all language. that gutteral, back of the throat hiss you find in german and dutch is part of those languages' phonetic inventories, but not english's, so english speakers looking to learn those might struggle with that noise.
cognate: a word in one language that has been borrowed from another; your french teacher may have called them mots amis. english has a lot of cognates; from spanish, like tortilla, from french, like deja vu, from german, like kindergarten, and many more!
tone: how high or low you say a word, or how that changes. like how as you say a question your voice raises up. in some languages, like mandarin, this is part of the grammar instead of something that modifies fully made sentences.
contrastive: when the difference between two sounds can mean the difference between two words. for example, if you take the i in leek and change it to ɪ, you get a new word, lick. so i and ɪ are contrastive. which sounds are contrastive varies bewteen languages: ɹ and l are contrastive in english (lad and rad are two different words) but interchangeable in japanese.
syllables: V and C just mean vowel and consonant. so a V syllable is one vowel, and a CVC syllable is consonant-vowel-consonant.
semivowels: w as in wind or j as in yell. they share a lot more attributes with vowels than consonants, but they can't function as the nucleus of a syllable so they're classed as consonants.
fricatives: sounds like sh and f and h, that restrict airflow but don't stop it completely, making for really turbulent vibrations.
stops: sounds that stop airflow, then release it, like b, t, and k. very short bursts of air.

Oh boy it's that time of the whenever where I remind myself that everything looks like a Minecraft mod when it's first added. Minecraft is such a large game that basically everything has been done already and any "new idea" that pops up has been at least considered at some point.
Everything they showed off today looks pretty neat, tbh. No complaints. It's also the most unanimously positive response to an update I've seen an a while, which is interesting. These events are normally an infinite argument generator, but everything I've seen has been minor. I do have some more thoughts to share, which I'll put under the cut.
I'll start off with the Vibrant Visuals official shader. It looks GREAT. Genuinely the best the game has ever looked IMO. I don't actually like Minecraft with shaders all that much. It's hard to describe, I guess they try too hard? Why is the grass always shiny? I eventually found one I liked called MakeUp and got it to look pretty good:
Tumblr media
The clouds are from a mod called Better Clouds. I don't actually like the vanilla clouds, and honestly like shader clouds less, but I'm quite fond of these.
Let's compare to Vibrant Visuals:
Tumblr media
Yeah, no surprise I like this. It's very simple and doesn't do much, but what it does do it does well. I, uh, still don't like the clouds. Too flat, too square. You can get the look without needing to make them massive slabs.
I'd like to touch on two more things about VV before moving on. First, the water:
Tumblr media
This looks nice! Most shaders just try and make the water realistic more than anything, which fails to account for the fact that in Minecraft you can just. Have water somewhere. In a vertical column. Which is near impossible to see with any kind of realistic shader. You have to have the water texture visible on it or else you are just walking near a cliff and are suddenly drowning with no warning. The underwater effects are interesting, I'm curious to see how this affects the visibility of blocks or if it does at all.
I also want to look at the shadows:
Tumblr media
Very neat effect with these, no comments. Would be curious if we can turn these off for sharp shadows or how they interact with higher-res resource packs. I also wonder if we'll get official custom shader support. Would be neat.
That's only half of the announcements, so it's ghast time!
Tumblr media
this is my son Crump he has every disease
I like the dried ghast. He looks silly. It's kinda odd that it's an inventory block; i feel like a bucket would be appropriate. Like powdered snow.
Dunking a dried ghast in water does a thing:
Tumblr media
Ghastlings, the next phase of the Ghast, are so cute. I have no words. Can't wait for people to build balloon stores with a bunch of these guys on leads.
If you give one snowballs, it will grow up into a happy ghast:
Tumblr media
Content beast. Is friend. You just know that thing has more helium in it than brain cells.
I do wonder how we get more of them. Can we breed them? With what? Will it spawn a new dried ghast or a ghastling? I guess we'll find out.
I've seen a lot of people complain about the unusually high-res texture. At first I thought the normal ghast was like this as well, until I actually checked:
Tumblr media
Yeah, the new one has a few more pixels than the existing one. At least 2-3x more pixels on edge. I think the artists were trying to make it more consistent with block textures, but ghasts are comically large compared to anything else in the game. For reference, I went and found the VanillaTweaks pixel consistent ghast that actually does achieve this:
Tumblr media
This makes me uncomfortable whenever I look at it. Very strange looking.
(To clarify: I don't hate it, but I do prefer the normal one.)
Onto the star feature, you can make a harness for the happy ghast and ride it:
Tumblr media
This is a great feature! Finally, air travel that doesn't require going to the end or silly redstone engineering. There's four seats, one on each side. Super useful for building as well since you can just stand on it midair:
Tumblr media
Super handy for obvious reasons. Basically just survival accessible creative flight. I am going to stop posting images now.
I hope we can add storage for these somehow. Imagine using one as a sort of mobile supply depot for construction or for hauling stuff long distances. I think I would have added creative flight-style mechanics by making it a beacon option, but this works too. Definitely going to try and get one.
I also hope we get something like the old ExtraUtilities angel block or Quark cloud in a bottle that lets us place blocks midair. It's a convenience thing, but it would be a very good one to have.
I hope Mojang takes this as an opportunity to update/tweak some of the other mount options the game has. I could make this its own post tbh, but horses/donkeys/llamas are too hard to breed good versions of, horses need an option for saddlebags and I wish I could give them frost walker, there are no good pack animals despite llamas and camels both existing, I could go on. I would also like a mount summon option of some sort, maybe with a goat horn? Could be interesting.

Tumblr media
[Kiyo] How remarkably intriguing. It would appear as though we have been visited by some kind of harbinger or herald of spirits. I wonder what messages its protégés will bring?
Tumblr media
[Kaito] S-Spirits!? No way! Ghosts aren’t real!
Tumblr media
[Kiyo] Now, now, no need to be so defensive. Besides, I did not call this entity a ghost, did I? Although modern sightings of ghosts, especially those within the western world, are often described to be small, glowing orbs such as this entity, there are many other entities from a wide array of mythological origins that match these characteristics, too. For example, in Celtic folklore, there exists a creature known as a will-o’-the-wisp, which…
Tumblr media
[Angie] Nyah-ha-ha-ha! Don’t be silly, Kiyo! This must be the work of God! Praise be to Him for providing us with company during our confinement!
Tumblr media
[Tsumugi] Or maybe, its the astral form of an ancient monk, here to lead the worthy to their destiny, just like in journey arc of...
Tumblr media
[Kaito] Look, I don’t care if it’s a ghost, ghoul, ghast, or otherwise, this thing isn’t supernatural or paranormal or whatever you want to call it! This… this is just one of Himiko’s things, r-right? Right!?
Tumblr media
[Kokichi] Ooo, was that a voice-break I heard? Didn’t take much to strip the “Luminary of the Stars!” of his bravado, huh?
Tumblr media
[Kaito] Shut up, Kokichi!
Tumblr media
[Kirumi] Kaito does raise a good point. Himiko, is this one of your magic tricks?
Tumblr media
[Himiko] Nyeh… they’re not tricks, they’re real magic!
Tumblr media
[Kirumi] I apologise. Allow me to rephrase: is this the result of your magic, Himiko?
Tumblr media
[Himiko] Lumomancy and sonomancy aren’t particularly powerful spells, but my mana is too low to cast them at the same time right now. Probably just one of Miu’s inventions…
Tumblr media
[Miu] Dumbass! You really think I’d waste my time making this floating piece of sh#t!? This gorgeous girl’s brain has way better things to do!
Tumblr media
[Ryoma] I don’t think we should be insulting this… “Saber” thing, especially not to its face. There’s no telling what its capable of.
Tumblr media
[Kokichi] No problems there, then! This thing doesn’t even have a face! It’s just a little ball of light!
Tumblr media
[Gonta] Gonta thinks it looks little like firefly! But... not see any wings or legs or mouth... how it speaking?
Tumblr media
[Kiibo] Hmm… I think I can see two small dots within the orb’s structure. They could well be eyes, so it may have some kind of face after all.
Tumblr media
[Tenko] What if this thing is working with Monokuma? It might be the secret sixth Monokub!
Tumblr media
[Monokuma] That’s Mr. Monokuma to you!
Tumblr media
[Tenko] Gah! Where did you come from!?
Tumblr media
[Monokuma] That doesn’t matter right now! How did this thing get in here!? This place is supposed to be sealed, nothing in, nothing out! Away! Shoo! Vamoose! Hey! Are you listening!? I’ll chase you out of here myself if I have to!
Tumblr media
[Rantaro] Didn’t you just say that there was no way out?
Tumblr media
[Monokuma] …
Tumblr media
[Monokuma] I just remembered that I left the oven on! Toodles!
Tumblr media
[Rantaro] *sigh* Off he goes again… well, at the very least, it’s comforting to know that this creature isn’t with the bears. That’s one less thing we have to worry about.
Tumblr media
[Maki] Whatever this thing may be, Ryoma is right. We need to be careful around it as well as anything like it. Afterall, it said itself that it’s not our friend.
Tumblr media
[Shuichi] But it also said that it wasn’t our enemy, and even though it stated that it was, “unable to help us in any significant manner,” it still might be able to help us somehow. We should try our best to keep it and others like it on our side.
Tumblr media
[Kaede] I agree! We should answer their questions whenever they’re asked and with any luck, they might be able to answer some of ours! Let's give this a go, everyone!

What are your thoughts on the latest season of Arcane?
Honestly, I have no idea how to answer this. As a Viktor fan, I'm livid. I'm disappointed, I'm betrayed, my flabber, ghasted.. The music was good at least. Episode 7 was the best and it wasn't even close. I enjoyed the funny interaction between Vik and Jinx at the well, but literally everything other than that (And Ekko, my best boy) was honestly garbage imo
It's hard to overstate my dissatisfaction tbh I don't like dooming, I had so much hope and faith going into S2 and with every act, my hope and faith diminished more and more. I wanted to say that I only have myself to blame for my own expectations, but honestly I'm angry with Riot for giving us false hope for the True MH. It all stemmed from that fucking blurry picture in Bridging the Rift. We held onto that for 3 years and then we were betrayed.
And that's why I also blame myself some. They already rewrote him in 2016 to be the Assimilate-Or-Die type, so why would I think, why would I hope, why did I have faith that they'd somehow roll it back again? I guess I should blame myself for that.

I'm very excited for the nether to eventually open all the way in QSMP, because then its one step closer to Philza getting elytra from the End and going full Angel Of Death BIRB.
HOWEVER:
Opening the Nether means ghast tears and the End Crystals, the favored weapon of 2b2t players, like FitMC.
Now: (continued under cut)
I don't know if Mr. FitMC of 2b2t would show this off
I don't know if Fit would keep it as a secret weapon.
I don't know if he'd teach end crystal fighting to Ramon.
I don't know how Phil would encourage this.
I don't know how crystals interact with slingshots.
I don't know how crystals interact with mines
I don't know how crystals heal dragon eggs
I don't know if the dragon eggs would recognize the crystals
I don't know how crystals interact with the lore
I don't know what the capybaras would do with endcrystals.
I don't know what Pac e Mike would do with endcrystals.
I don't know what any of the consequences would be!
BUT I AM VERY EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!

Ghasts exist, and don't exist. Strange ethereal creatures of fire and air that float around the nether, crying as if they are in eternal suffering. Perhaps that is the cause of their wandering, how they drift in and out of hell, in and out of physicalness, if they even are physical beings to begin with. I think catch sight of them through the fog, but do I really see them? Or is that just something else?
Have you ever held a ghast tear? Not all ghast drop them when they die. They are strange, metallic, but icy, but also of a substance that feels wholly of another place, another plane of existence. It sings, softly, forlornly, resting in your hand. I sometimes think that they contain the souls of the ghast, and those that don't drop them have moved back to their unseen existence, never to return.
No one knows how long they live for, assuming no one is involved in causing their death, of course. You can never be sure that the ghast you see now will be the same one you see next once it fades away and returns. They could well be ghosts, the spirits of creatures who once lived here at the dawn of time, memories burnt into the walls of hell, unable to be forgotten.
Perhaps it's fitting that they appear most closely to the soul sand valleys, those desolate awful places full of bones and crying voices. The sand whispers with so many voices that you can't make out what they say anymore. The creatures who died and left their bones here are lost to time and memory. Not even the piglins know what they used to be, and I have asked them several times.
Then again, the same can be said for the same and larger fossils that litter the overworld. What creatures are these who lived in swamps and deserts and left similar kinds of remains behind? That is a question I would love to know the answer to, but I fear it is also lost. No one knows what that was, because anyone who might have had those memories has also been lost.
I sometimes think about all the lost creatures. The lost plants, too, that the sniffers seem solely equipped to dig up. What land was this before, when there were these six legged creatures, these strange plants, and other giant creatures who were so scattered and large that some were buried at the very bottom of the earth, their bones becoming diamonds and coal.
No one knows how long ghasts have been around, either. Forever, it seems. They have always been here. But their dislike and hostility towards me alone and to no one else makes me wonder if my kind had something to do with them being here at all. and if so, why?
The piglins don't like the soul sand valley very much. They get very quiet when we find one when we're out hunting. Perhaps there are piglin souls in here too. This time, though, we spot something strange by one of the fossils. It's a strange, grey rock that looks like a ghast, frowning face and everything, like it has been carved out of ashen stone and left here. It doesn't feel carved when I pick it up though. This isn't something the piglins like, and they back off, wondering what I'm doing by interacting with it.
It's only when I have it in my hands that I can see it and feel it, and it's definitely not made of stone. Its skin feels like dry tanned leather. Is it a dead ghast? If so, it's not one I've ever seen before. Something in my heart tells me to take it to the overworld, that it belongs there, not here in the nether.
This isn't something I act on for what feels like weeks. I'm too busy at the bastion. There's a festival we're all preparing for, and hoglin is being hunted and stored for the feast. The ghast lies forgotten in a chest until I find the time to take it with me when I next go excavting for gold.
I take it almost as an afterthought, stashing it in my bag along with my other equipment. On my last excursion to the overworld, I'd found and mapped out a new mesa area, and I planned to go back and mine all the gold I could find. In my little house in the overworld, I pulled out the ghast and looked at it again, unsure what to do with it. Surely it wasn't alive, though, right? I was sure it would have done something by then if it was.
I left it behind when I went prospecting, letting it sit in the garden to watch over the crops. I thought nothing of it as I set off. It was a nice decorative piece for the garden. It could watch over the place while I was away.
I was home again a few days later. The mesa was smaller than I had anticipated, and did not get me enough gold. I would need to go prospecting again. It was raining, of course. I walked the last half a day in the rain and was glad to be home at last. A slight movement caught my eye, though, and I was sure I'd seen the ghast moving!
Shrugging it off as exhaustion, I went inside, put my stuff away, had a wash, ate some dinner, and went to bed.
I didn't notice anything off, at first. I was tending to my crops, feeding my animals, and preparing some firewood. I ran into the ghastling as I turned to carry some wood inside. It was... well, it was like a ghost. It passed right through me, and proceeded to flit around my legs, purring strangely. I noticed it was smiling now. I knelt down to face it, as it was no higher than my knees.
"Hey there, little fella," I said.
The ghastling trilled and nuzzled against me, which in many ways felt like being hugged by the wind.
"So you were alive, after all."
It followed me around the rest of the day like an obedient puppy. In the evening, it settled down at the foot of my bed, which was a little unnerving, but it had such a happy smile on its face and it had never tried to attack me so.
But then again, what if it would only attack me when it grew up? Would I have to kill it then, if it got aggressive? I hoped not.
I did notice it went nowhere near my portal though. Was it afraid of going to the nether? Was this then a nether ghast reborn in the overworld? Is that why it was scared now? I thought again about the ghast tears and where I'd found the ghast. Maybe these formed when ghast tears fell on the bones, imprinting the souls of the ghasts into the bones themselves. And then they sat there waiting to be found.
But then how had it come to life in the first place? All I'd done was bring it here. I thought about that the whole time I was on a second expedition, this time finding a much more fruitful mesa.
In the end, I found no satisfactory answer. I decided I was not the person to find out that question. Besides, when I got home again, the ghast had grown to full size, and let me tell you, I have never touched a cloud before, but that's what this ghast felt like. Like nothing, like the air, like so many different intangible things.
It was still scared of my portal though, so I left it secured in a barn until I could return, fully expcting it to phase into their unseen world and be gone by the time I returned. Maybe it would be. I'm never sure how long my trips take these days. Do I go away for days, or weeks, or months at this point? Time doesn't exist in the nether.
I always loved sharing my riches with the piglins though. They loved my gold, and I loved watching them forge beautiful pieces with them. I did tell them about the ghast though, and even they were surprised and confused and a bit scared. I mean, it looked happy? It was making happy noises? But who am I to judge what a happy ghast sounds like, let alone claim they even exist? I am just a fool who lives with piglins in a bastion. What do I know of ghasts anyway?

My Wings of Fire OC, Ghast
This is an OC I haven't drawn in awhile! I've been messing around with different fullbody poses; the Wings of Fire How to Draw book has been a lifesaver when it comes to breaking things down into shapes. Additionally, this piece was originally going to have a mountain background, but I was tired while drawing it so I decided to do the watercolor sort of thing you see above. I think it turned out cool.
ABOUT GHAST!!
Tribe: Sky/Ice hybrid Gender: Male (he/him) Orientation: Aroace Occupation: Archer Residence: Claws of the Clouds Mountains Special Abilities: Firescales
Ghast was born to a SkyWing mother and an IceWing father, and to their dismay, he had firescales (even if they were only on the underside of his wings). The couple could not stay together due to tribal tensions during the Great War, furthermore leaving their young son due to fear of what their queens might do to him. Thus, he was adopted by his SkyWing grandfather and raised in the Claws of the Clouds Mountains where no one would find him.
Ghast learned many practical skills from his grandfather such as archery and foraging, but due to being isolated from the rest of the world, Ghast never learned how to interact with other dragons. He is quite afraid of the outside world and lives alone as an adult.
Here's a transparent version of the artwork:

okay thoughts about the minecraft movie while they are still fresh in my head and also before i come down from being high and all the whimsy i experienced wears off. Spoilers!!!
-they killed a child on screen
-mojang is Sooooooo bold to announce the ghastling update and have the internet all excited and empathetic for the ghasts and then Explode Several Of Them On Screen
the guys behind me who would say the corny lines that were in the trailer, for this to work and not be rlly embarassing is to Actually Be In Sync. but whatev. i respect what they were going for
I thought people were joking or just making the most viable ship in the movie in typical fujo manner (i respect the fujo grind dw) but it turns out they were just stating an objective fac (pet names? tension? BALL-TO-BALL ACTION?)
sometimes the clearly fake cgi (not that its animated, but that you can TELL the actor is Interacting With A Prop) and the obvious green screen was really charming to me.
"i wonder when my edible is going to kick in" "HOLY SHIT APHMAU??????"
"hooooo im really starting to feel it" *Jack Black starts singing to me*
Something about the first 15 minutes was so good (it was objectively awful) was so endearing it made me instantly love the movie
actually
i pounded back a McDonalds Minecraft meal not even 10 minutes before walking in
im not immune to red 40 mind control
okay to actually i solved the puzze. the first 15 minutes were SOOO bad, that i started to think we were talking in meta, and therefore everysingle BAD thing about the movie, was now a joke about how bad it was
and it was so juvinille and fun to think of things so simple again about how comedy works like the whole thing was so poorly paced and on the nose that life is good
me and my sister have been making villager noises at each other for the past week and EVERY single time the movie did it is cracked! me! up!
when Dawn tames a wolf and it gets Dennis' name tag I was like "oh my god every dog is defaultly named Dennis. Why would Steve know? He only ever had the one dog. Oh my GODD they are gonna use Dennis 2 to get Steve to comply with something that conflicts his values as black mail- oh nvm its just the same Dennis
why dont the girls get to be funny? :(
its okay that was part of the meta joke. they were SO badly sidlined and Like That bc yea... a movie like this WOULD have that happne
Natalie becoming a fighter was actually a Psycho Girl reference okay? it was awesome
like them trying to have this tense-sibling-dynamic-and-care-for-each-other-and-also-they-are-orphans but they barely talked to each other and everything is so insanely shallow its COMEDIC
THEY HIT THE SECOND TOWER
do i think this movie deserves to be THE Minecraft movie? probably not
they actually put all the worst scenes in the trailer
SO much of it was just awkward and out of place (the enderman bit?) (but also soooo funny and meta haha yea that WOULD be awful)
also the joke about 'The Orb' being a cube bc.... bc its minecraft and they dont have enough polygons to be doing that..... kind of falls apart when the Ender Pearls get to be circles (or way funnier i havent decided yet)
on my minecraft realm theres a baby piglin jumped me and stole my armor and shield. i remembered to wear gold next time but i was Just Always Passing By That Dripped Out Baby. it made all the movie violence against baby piglins way funnier than it was meant to be
also on the realm, ive been giving out Eviction Notices
Tumblr media
and Jason Momoa opening up an envelope and reading a paper with EVICTION NOTICE inn big letters at the top was killiinggg meee
somehow every important part of the story NOT relating to Steve and "Gar-Gar' gets sidelined. The World, The rest of the cast, the secret of Steve being a spy, Garret blackmailing him, the earth cube, the big bad evil soceress trying to kill them, like all of it gets MINISCULE screen time compared to STEVE GARRETT BALL ON BALL ACTION they are like the only ones with a complete arc... or depth... or even speak enough for subtext to fit into their dialouge
stuff like the tater shotgun and the speedy iron golem all felt like they were supposed to have more screen time that got cut for budget
Henry is clearly suppoed to be the 'Everyman' here for kids to project onto but Garrett is the main character JUST to be clear
somehow.... is was perfectly casted. like dead ass.
considering the thought i involunterily put into the Garfield Movie i was ready to tear it apart, but i just,,,, enjoyed myself
on GOD they referenced this image at soome point

Frequency Lore - Frequencies
Hiya! uh... I don't got much to say, this is a lore post about the main power system in my Frequency stories. That being... well I mean it's right there, it's:
Frequencies!
Okay, so, let's start with what Frequencies are. Frequencies are the physical manifestation of one's soul, and as such can change over time should someone's soul substantially change (and vice versa, someone can change if their Frequency does).
Now, Frequencies vary from person to person (think of them like superpowers) and typically can only affect things within someone's "aura". This isn't always the case, but it almost always is.
"What's an aura?" I hear you ask metaphorical reader. An aura is pretty much how I described it above: The area in which someone's Frequency is effective.
Every living thing has an aura, including plants, animals, humans, even non-human creatures/monsters like ghasts/ghouls and demons. An aura is more or less an invisible kind of radiative wave that can be used to indicate the health, vitality, strength, and willpower of the living creature.
As stated, auras are invisible (unless you are one of the lucky few able to "see" auras, but it's more like a different form of perception, like touch or sound). Most people aren't aware of them but could be taught to sense their own aura. You generally cannot be taught to see auras unless you already could so... tough luck.
Auras are shapeless unless the creature possess a Frequency in which they reflect the ability of said Frequency. This can result in some pretty wacky results, such as Lukas (who can send himself back in time by 5 seconds) who's aura "lags" behind him by five seconds representing where he would be should he use his Frequency.
As illustrated above, Frequencies can do a lot of stuff. Such as, but not limited to, sending oneself back in time, removing the heat from something, creating raw energy/plasma in one's hands, or turning yourself into lightning.
In Frequency: Forsaken, they change slightly but are more or less the same. If/when I make a post about demons I'll talk about some weird stuff about souls and Frequencies and how they interact.
Now, one last thing about them, and that's about
Awakenings
So, almost no one is born with a Frequency, although some are born with the potential for one. What this means is they will most likely awaken (aka unlock) their Frequency at some point semi-naturally. However, the exact type or nature of their Frequency is not determined at birth, again it's influenced by their soul.
For example, Lukas (mentioned above) unlocked his Frequency on his 15th birthday. "Why then?" you may ask, that's because of how his Frequency is meant to grow. Every 3 or so years another second is added to his Rewind Frequency. So at 15 y/o he would be able to rewind 5 seconds, which is a kind of baseline for his power.
Now this is called an "awakening" or sometimes "initial/first awakening". There is a chance, should someone meet some kind of prerequisite or have a great change in their personality/character, that they might awaken a second time. Referred to as a "second awakening" ...I wonder why.
In this "second awakening" someone might unlock an entirely new and separate Frequency, or gain some new use/ability of their pre-existing Frequency.
For example, Karve could initially travel through shadows, but after his second awakening he could manipulate them as well as "speak to them" as he puts it.
Most people in the setting (up until sometime before Forsaken's setting) don't know anything about Frequencies, having never awakened or interacted with one before. Outside of specific groups and places, Frequencies are fairly rare (again, up until Forsaken, it's kind of an outlier for these kinds of things). Some people/groups with Frequencies don't even know what they're called, such as Rain/Akita who don't know anything about their powers before they meet someone who tells them (in each of their stories).
I uh, I think that's it! Feel free to ask any questions you have! I'll also edit/reblog this if I noticed I made a mistake/left out something. Thanks for reading as always! ❤
(also, I'm working on a taglist for any writing I post, like scenes of various stories and such. Comment or message me if you want to be on it, and if you want to be tagged in anything else)
(Also, @mk-writes-stuff, you mentioned liking lore posts, so... I'm whispering your name down here like an incantation)

Traffic/Evo Watcher headcanon, don't mind me
Ok, so we've known awhile now that the next season of the Life series is going to be released soon, so naturally I've been re-watching the previous seasons and going over POVs I hadn't seen before. While going down this rabbit hole I came across a Martyn stream I missed where he was talking about the Watchers lore and how he and Grian worked on it for Evo and then he kind of altered it from what Grian originally imagined (i.e. the Watchers being representative of us, the audience, who watch them for entertainment) to the more sinister lore we Traffic connoisseurs are familiar with today. This got me thinking. A lot. Too much even. What if we, the audience, were STILL the Watchers? I'm not talking about for the Life series or Evo series specifically, I'm thinking more broad spectrum, like across the MCYT multiverse type thing. I like a cohesive story, and I like puzzles, and when there are stories that look like they could be pieces of a bigger puzzle I enjoy smooshing them together in one giant headcanon that more or less makes sense, so here we go.
The canon lore we have (as I understand it anyway) is as follows: the Watchers first made themselves known during Evo, where they messed with the Evolutionists as they went through each Minecraft update, ultimately separating them for the final dragon fight where Grian would leave Evo and become a Watcher himself. From there the Listeners (who I know diddly squat about) got involved and helped the Evolutionists escape the Evo server, thus getting them away from Watcher influence. Or so they hoped. The Watchers somehow regained power over the Players that were involved in Evo, along with some of their friends, and put them in what is essentially a never-ending loop of death games as punishment for their defiance. Grian didn't like how the Watchers operated, so he left them to join his friend in the death games. The Watchers feed off the Players' negative emotions, but leave their memories, thus enabling them to start fresh each season without holding on to previous grudges (though considering Impulse's thing with BDubs and the clock and Tango's rage that might not be entirely effective)
This is where my headcanon comes in. The Watchers are a group of people/sentient beings of some kind who feed off of the negative emotions of others and watch their misery and struggles for entertainment. They're a mischievous bunch, some might even say troll-like (of the internet variety, not like in fairy tales), and at least two of them enjoy speaking in rhyme, i.e. they're artistic and dramatic. Sound familiar? Because to me this description sounds very much like the wider MCYT fanbase, especially the fan artists/writers. I mean come on, when have we NOT jumped at the opportunity to turn a pretty normal moment into the angstiest piece of writing/art imaginable. Case in point, Mumbo and Grian at the ghast farm in Last Life. They were giggling through that whole interaction, yet I've watched SEVERAL angsty animatics about just that one scene and I've loved every second of it.
This next bit is likely a pretty big reach, but the thought popped into my head and wouldn't go away so I would just like to get it out there. Grian doesn't really interact with his comments on an individual basis, but he definitely has addressed the more negative ones, especially the ones that go after his friends when they're on an opposing side of whatever war he's started at that moment in time. This ties in pretty well with him not liking the way the Watchers operate in my opinion, and it also ties in with him leaving the Watchers to help his friends. Not necessarily directly, but more in the sense of the vibes matching up.
We currently don't know enough about the Watchers to definitively say how plausible this headcanon of mine is, like we don't know exactly how many Watchers there are, or how many Listeners there are, or what separates a Watcher from a Listener, or really any info about the Listeners in general. I do think it's a pretty fun headcanon though, and until it is directly contradicted this is how I will view the Watchers. Thank you for reading my essay.

OH OKAY YOU DO WANNA HEAR FROM US COOL
so. ghasts as like, hot air balloons filled with water vapor. their thick skin is soft and squishy and filled with water. they retain neutral buoyancy by changing how much water is in their skin versus their air sack. this water also acts as backup "drinking" water, in case they need to go some time in a drier environment. their skin allows water in much easier that it allows them out. they also breathe through their air sacks, so they need a certain amount of air inside.
this also means the nether is actually rather humid in places - particularly around crimson and warped forests! the rest is very dry, though - especially the wastes.
the younglings are particularly vunerable to drying out, yes. ghasts absorb whatever water lingers in the air around them their whole lives and keep it inside with their thick skin. the babies haven't got their skin very thick yet, and are very small, so they can't keep large stores of excess water like adult ghasts can. the adults often have to share water with the babies, though i'm unsure how as of yet.
to make up for this, baby ghasts can go long periods without water in a sort of hibernation - every non-essential function, including conciousness, shuts down, and many of those that remain are greatly slowed. this lasts until they can absorb enough water to safely wake up and search for more.
ghasts drop "tears" as a way of letting out excess material they don't need or want in their body. they're a similar material to a clam's pearl, and they often fill a similar role. what a tear contains affects its usage in things like potions, as well as how it looks.
wild ghasts are hunted in the nether as a way of getting water. one (fully-grown) ghast can last a community months. their skin is eaten, rather than water being drank, so it doesn't evaporate or boil or just get unpleasently hot. it just tastes like water with a bit of a sourish tint, and has a texture comparable to a tougher, non-sticky marshmallow.
as pets, they're very high-matienence, but incredibly loving and loyal, similar to many working dog breeds. they were bred for transport of people and materials. i'd say in minecraft itself, non-happy ghasts are feral, but i can see any given story having them as wild, with happy ghasts as domesticated or tame.
they don't care much about petting either way - gentle strokes, that is. they don't like being scratched, it just irritates their skin. they much prefer hugs and you leaning up against them, mirroring how ghasts interact - they have their cries, and they push and brush against eachother, or even hold members of a pack partiallh in their arms. they have packs, by the way - they're very social creatures! though if not properly socialized, they become hostile to non-pack members like wild/feral ghasts.
much like cats, just existing near them without interacting is their way of hanging out! they're also very playful when not on-duty, and can get rather mischevious.
if you don't travel, you probably shouldn't own a ghast. they need LOTS of flying space and time. it can be between two primary locations, but they need to travel at least a couple miles; at least once a month, but it's preferable to be more often. smaller flights can supplement in-between monthly travels, but how well that works depends on the ghast.
ghasts do well with multiple owners, so if you can't take them out on flights, you do have options. two or three owners works best.
they're also very obedient while on-duty, if properly trained. if not, they can get rather chaotic and hard to handle. knowing wild/feral ghasts, i'm sure you can see why this is a problem. they don't often shoot fireballs unless provoked, though - that is purely an offensive move (including offence as defence).
OK but seriously ghasts are fucking wet!! What does this mean for minecraft?? Is it only dried up because it was a baby? Can adults withstand the heat but not babies? Were ghasts born in the overworld and brought over, or are mad ghasts just the babies who made it?
How much moisture is in the average nether ghast? The ghast tear may actually be water based, which means lore wise ghasts are the only source of water in the nether.
Its just a lot to think about, I don't have a theory or anything! I wanna hear any ideas you guys have
