Ok so this finished literally 5 mins ago (I am going to queue this up for a random time though) but I am having thoughts.

I have been engaging in some softcore pet play with a person, it started with me jokingly calling them puppy once and I think you can see how that snowballed into softcore pet play.

In the beginning (aka like 4 days ago) it was just me jokingly calling them puppy a few times, but then that evolved into teasings and "good boy"-ings, and then to them asking me for a list of things they should do to get the praise and you can fill in the blanks.

And then, tonight. It was already a lot of things today, various teasings and such, but then it started getting more… charged. I have new names to call them now. And then the … sexting (???) started.

They made it clear they like praise, that's fine, I can praise people. Though it is very easy to run out of things to say, I did that and just started repeating myself but with different nouns.

They also liked light bullying. That I could do better. I am good at berating people. It comes to me more naturally then I expected. I did hold myself back, they made it clear they didn't want me to be mean. I could have gone harder on the bullying if they would have wanted that.

General Doming - 9/10 - Very fun, extremally exhausting. I have a theory that it would be more fun if I had any idea what I was doing.

Despite my seemingly low rankings I did have fun. But I could tell they were more into it then I was. We've been through this before. Not this but this. We've done this before and we both know it didn't end well.

I'm scared that they'll think I would be willing to do this in different circumstances.

I am aegosexual. They know this. I'm not sure how much of that they understand. This whole experience also helped me find my own boundaries when it comes to sex. I am fine with it in hypothetical fantasies, in one sided fantasies, and in situations where I am far enough removed away from my body. In this case, the text format helped remove me enough. Whoever was doing that was not really me but a part of me. I felt comfortable enough to do that because it wasn't me who was doing it, but another me. I don't know how far the border lasts until it is stretched to thin.

After we finished, we went into aftercare. When this happened, I felt more like me again. It was weird. I did my normal thing. I am the caretaker in almost all situations. I reminded them to get water, find something to eat, possibly bathe later. That was normal that was fine. But they continued the roleplaying into the aftercare. That I was there, I touched them, just a holding of hands. I felt awful. The idea of touching a person in a semi-intimate matter, when it was me doing the touching, not something I am piloting, It makes me feel sick. I hate the feeling of skin.

We are somewhat open about sex. We know we both have kinks, just not the specific details. During the scene, I was instructing them on how to touch themself. I also had control over when they would orgasm. I cannot orgasm. I've known this for a while. I have never told anyone this because it is no ones business. I love how almost everything is connected in will woods music so I’m gonna ramble about it (hopefully coherently) to spare people who know me in real life.

Firstly (I’ve already mentioned this on another post about this band), going all the way back to a verbal equinox, the character of dr sunshine shows up again in self- ish in dr sunshine is dead. Also the line “I’m far too weird to live, but I ain’t too weird to die” is reworked to “too weird to love, too scared to die” in outliars and hyppocrites.

Going to EIAL, the phrase “draw a line in the sand” from chemical overreaction is also seen in Marsha thankk you for the dialectics. And omg destroy to enjoy is pretty much just a reference to self- ish. The line “glory be satori but it’s all hallucinatory…” is in 2012, also with a reference to “mahaprajnaparimita” which also is mentioned in 2012.

Self- ish is pretty much all connected, with the first and last songs, self and ish, basically being one song split into two. Dr sunshine is dead, cotards solution and mr capgras are all connected musically, and also interestingly capgras and cotards are both mental illnesses, specially delusions, which makes their connection to dr sunshine make more sense (that might be a bit of a stretch though). The song with five names and hand me my shovel I’m going in are perfect parallels, and the repeated lyrics less tune of “gotta get to the bottom of this” playing in the second verse of the song with five names can also kinda be heard in wealth and hellness by human zoo in the bit will wood sings in. There’s also the reference to hand me my shovel I’m going in during half decade hangover. The song had come out in 2016, which was just over half a decade before icimi came out. 2012 is interestingly the only one without much of a connection. Not sure why yet, might just be for the sake of it.

The normal album. I love the normal album. Suburbia overture references the other songs so much and I love it. (There’s only one other album that I know does this: enter a beginners guide to faking your death by jhraiah- go listen to it). The first reference to another song is the line “myers briggs, okultra” which is a reference to Blackboxwarrior okultra. It’s also kinda interesting that it’s referenced alongside a “psychology” term as the song is full of psychology references. The second reference is “everybody knows that, nobody knows that, everybody’s all up in my- everybody’s all up in my- everybody’s all up in my business” which is a reference to …well better than the alternative. During the spoke part of vampire culture, the backing music is from Blackboxwarrior. The line “you pull out your roscharch like a paint by numbers treasure map” could be a reference to outliars and hyppocrates, in the line “prints of your fingers in the roscharch jigsaw say you saw a treasure map”. Finally and obviously, love me normally is referenced in the title of the song, and the end of the song is the beginning to love me normally. I don’t know if this is a stretch/ coincidence, but a part of good morning campers from chnt (or welcome to camp here and there, l can’t remember) kind of sounds like the part of outliars and hyppocrates: “who’s wanna be human anyways, i mean what do people do”.

I can’t find any connections that I haven’t already mentioned in icimi because I haven’t been listening to it as much (most songs make me cry), but its still a good album :D

Woo new week new album this week I listened to "A Beginner's Guide To Faking Your Own Death" By Jhariah

ooh thats a very nice album cover indeed, very very nice

⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 out of 5 stars) I really enjoyed this album! Not usually the type of music I go for but I had fun!

Found this artist through Instagram and they seemed super cool and I loved their energy so I thought I'd give them a shot and it was definitely worth it!

I don't usually go for this more eccentric style of music but it's good to expand and blah blah blah

Anyways if you like Will Wood you'll probably like Jhariah but he's definitely got lots of artists that influence their style and it's lots of fun

But y'all did not come here to hear me yap about an artist that i only found out about this week so here are my top 3! (as always, no particular order, just the album order)

"Enter: A Beginner's Guide To Faking Your Death" Although i don't like to pick the first song off an album, I LOVE this song. It has such an interesting instrumentation and the piano at the start is addictive. Their vocals are lots of fun on this one too!

"Pressure Bomb 3?!?!" Is so much fun!!! I could listen to this song over and over. I love the way it tells the story and flows between sounds. And of course a song about your thoughts going too fast is pretty much my life so yeah, amazing song!

"To Take for Granted. -Live from the Faraday Cage" This song THRIVES being live, the way this song sounds iches my brain. And those vocals being live wow. I love the instrumentation and the drums are lots of fun on this one. love this one a lot. It feels like it's out of a musical in the best way possible.

this just. sums up step as a character. such a massive chunk of their story is exploring the identities they take up(puppet, step, and vsona) and the reasons why they use each one. why did step decide to be so many different people at once? is it safety? comfort? simply not knowing how to be anything else? the vagueness leaves it open for interpretation. a lot of the song is like this, which is why i find its really good for a wide variety of peoples steps.

technically not an analysis, but i have a really strong image of step singing all three lines (counting the one in the bracket as a line) with their three identities singing one line each if that makes sense.

i think with the previous lines being an interpretation of step, this dives more into their gripes with their villainy (eg, some steps are overworked, some steps are unsure of their own goals, some of them arent sure if they want to be a villain) and how the it affects their mental state ("the noise" in this case could refer to the stress and doubts, or if you want to get literal, it could be steps endless amounts of brain passengers).

with the rangers interpretation, though, i imagine it being one of them literally describing the state of the rangers at the moment. most likely ortega showing step the hq after the argent incident? in this case it could become a lot more sinister, since theres a lot of room for step to take advantage of the information ortega just handed them.
