Bakery Love

Genshin impact, modern baker au, reader´s family owns(and works at) a bakery + reader works there, gn!reader

characters: Tighnari, Albedo, Kazuha, Cyno, Nilou, Xiao x gn!reader

Warnings: kissing, baking(duh), romantic relationship (+ planoinic in some but not with the main), kissing, , tell me if i missed anything

Note: I'm sorry if there´s any mistakes, english is not my first language and this is not prof-read yeah enjoy ;) and it feels so weird to write for Nilou when the rest is men, i didn´t think abt that. luv you all, mwah ;)

Tighnari

i feel like he would be there to get a birthday cake for Collei, (im sorry it just sounds too cute) and you were at the front desk in your apron talking to a customer, when he walked in and ordered. you looked at him, asked what he would like and wrote a note down so you could remember - he ordered a "healthy" cake with green frosting on one side and red on the other with Cuilein anbars on the green side and baron bunnies on the red side. and then he also leaves his number woth the order bc he thinks your cute so you start to become friends. anyway, thats how you met onto when you start dating

you would come over to his house after your shift, or when you both have time, and bring him some baked goods for him and Collei/i feel like they would live together in a modern au, like Tighnari would still be her caretaker, just like in the game/. you and Tighnari would definitely bake together, and you would teach him how to bake certain pastries and stuff, and Collei/+Cyno maybe/could join if they wanted to (it would be so cute wtf). i also think he would be like a florist or smt, like he owns a flower shop, so he would bring you flowers or just plants in general. so the bakery would have a lot of plants that he´s given you. and your family (lovingly) hates him because where tf are they gonna put all these fricking flowers and stuff he gets you every week. tho their happy for you and they also got free decor for the bakery so they don´t really complain.

to him you´re like a rose, beautiful, even if sometimes you sting, he adores you just as much

Albedo

he was just there to study at first, maybe get some coffee and a piece of cake, when he saw you behind the counter he kinda.. uhm.. fell in love at first sight, yeah... anyway now/because of your beauty/he is there studying more often or when you´re there to be exact. your sibling or parent called it out but you denied it and didn´t think much of it. and then he finally asked for your number

when you finally start dating, he would still study at your bakery but it´ll be a little more often. and not only on your shifts but on other family members too, mainly bc he wants to get to know them better. he also brings his little sister, Klee, with him more often so she can meet you and your family + see the bakery. he also would make some artificial things for you, like flowers and stuff, you could either put in your room or around the bakery. yk the flower he makes in his idol or whatever its called, so like one of those or just anything you want really. he could also paint there, but he´ll just start painting you and he doesn´t want other people to think he´s stalking you.

to him you´re like a painting, pretty in many ways, and perfect in his eyes

Kazuha

he would visit the bakery once in a while, finding it relaxing to be there and finding great inspiration for his poems and stories. and something he has noticed is the beautiful person that is sometimes behind the corner/you hehe/and starts to slowly become his muse. he couldn´t help it its like keeping a secret from someone, but sharing it with the world at the same time. he finds himself going to the same place over and over again, only wanting to see your face one more time. (wtf happened to me) while he was unknowingly falling in love with this new muse, you were falling for him. (ok i need to fricking stop, omg)

when you two finally started dating, he still kept you as his muse, but this time you were both aware and laughed a little together because of it. anyway he would be there even more to just sit and write about something, then later in the day/or week if you both were busy/he would read them out to you. and at some point you would start giving him notebooks every few months just so he could write his poetry on something other than the tissues from the bakery(omg that would be so cute and hilarious at the same time). in return he would gift you your favorite flowers and try and learn to bake, even tho its not perfect he tries and you love it. sometimes you´ll bake something with him and teach him properly how to do something/or do it the way your family does it/and then after you eat it together.

to him you're a miracle, your his love, his life, and his muse, he doesn´t know what to do without you now

Cyno

he´s a policeman (the hot kind) and there was an incident with your neighbor bc their store got robbed/in my mind it's a jewelry store but let your mind go wherever/so you got a few questions since you were on your shift at the time they came in. but you then after went into the back/your home to get your parents. and then after he started showing up more both because of the situation but also because he generally liked your pastries and cakes. even after the case ended he still came over on a lot of all of his breaks, maybe it was sometimes to see you but you ofc didn´t need to know that ;)

so when you guys started dating, he would ofc still come over but also look out for you, your family, and the bakery. also in his free time/even tho its not often/he would "help" you with baking. aka your teaching him how to bake bc he can´t for the life of him, but he brags to his friends abt it "cough". anyway, he would love to try some new recipes you find online or in your family cookbook, and help as much as he can. if you made him some pastries for him to take with him to work, he would fall even more `head over heels` in love with you, seriously do it. he would definitely stop anybody that tries to steal anything from the bakery, and get them arrested immediately.

to him your love is like a drug, addicting, but even if he knows it he will still love you for eternity

Nilou

yk the cake she eats in game, that would definitely be the reason you two met. like it would be in the bakery´s window or smt and she would order that with a smile, while you where on your shift ofc. and she would get all exited and stuff. + she thinks the way you and your family make it is much better, so she´s basically a reguler bc she orders at your bakery so often. and then she starts to fall in love with one of the bakers there (you), and so she tries to find out when your shift is and stuff. (my brain couldn´t stop sry, that was a lot)

anyways, when you start dating she would definitely want to try and learn the recipe and bake it with you, but ofc she needs practice so she´ll eat your portion at the start, but you can´t complain you´ve literally done this your whole life ofc you´re better. she´d also want to meet your family early on bc you told her about some baking days when you test new recipes and stuff, so she´d be the taste tester and give tips if she could. aand you would give her discounts for some kisses. she would also dance in the bakery, with you and your family´s content ofc, so she could attract customers with her beautiful dancing.

to her you´re like cake, has many flavors, not all perfect but to her you are too perfect to enjoy only once

Xiao

i see him getting dragged there by some friends/yk aether, venti, kazuha, heizou and then scara is getting dragged there too. so basically 6rezze(sry if thats wrong) or 5wirl, but they aren´t famous/and they drag him to your bakery. bc they wanted to try the cakes and stuff. and your the one behind the counter(idk if thats a good thing or not, but ig it was?). and so you had to deal with some boys yelling at each other while one of them was completely silent/xiao/he just ordered and explained what the rest/but not for heizou, kazuha cuz i feel like they would already have ordered/you just got the pastries and cakes they ordered, and they then sat down seeming to calm down.

after you started dating he wouldn´t come to the bakery often, but he´ll definitely come over like once a week/before was like once or twice a month/and he won´t order much but is just there to support you. otherwise, if he comes to the bakery he´ll just go straight to the back to see you/they know who he is ofc, but for first-time workers that might be weird/and he would be a little sad if you were too busy to give him attention. if you give him some non-sweet cake or pastries he´ll love you even more(i swear thats impossible). he´ll also feed you, and let you feed him in return. if you want him to learn how to bake he´ll do it, but only if you teach him ofc. so there you are in your kitchen with xiao, trying to teach him to bake the non-sweet cake he likes.

you´re like the cakes you make, sweet, although he doesn´t normally like sweet things, he loves you more than anything else

My proper introduction (me + my fnaf au guide)

hellooo :3

I'm Donnie, they/them, 17 y/o, I’m an artist + writer and this blog is mainly for my retelling of rebornica’s fnaf au, which I’ve named Lost and Found

I DONT SUPPORT REBORNICA, hence the remake. It’s a collaborative effort with my boyfriend, who comes up with a lot of the more intricate lore and details. None of this would even exist if it weren’t for him (also his name is literally vincent,, crazy how that happens)

Anyways, I’m finally at a point where I feel secure in my au and its story, and comfortable posting lore abt it! PLEASE feel free to send in asks or messages in regard to my au and characters!! BRIEF Lore Synopsis (intentionally vague bc i like keeping secrets, most of the nitty gritty stuff will be for later) :

The time period of this AU is like,,,,,,exceptionally long. Starting in the 1950's and onward.

It also combines canon fnaf lore, rebornica lore, and other things me and my bf just thought up that seemed fun.

Vincent was adopted into the Afton family as a newborn when William was 11 years old. The two brothers had a very rocky dynamic as they grew up, William being the favorable child but it was still clear there was something.. off with him. Most of Vincent’s dynamic with William growing up was Vincent being manipulated into doing what William wanted, and having a false hope that his older brother might actually care about him. Growing more and more bitter as he grew up, Vincent began to resent his brother.

William opens the Fazbear's establishment(s) around his late 20's, Vincent being the first "real" Fazbear's employee alongside his brother and Henry Emily. Of course, Henry ends up quitting later on to grieve the death of his daughter, who died outside the pizzeria. He has his suspicions on how and why, but he doesn't stay long enough to confirm them. He just wants to get away. Before that even happened, one of Williams sons and his daughter also died tragically in animatronic related accidents, all of these instances coming together to reveal the discovery of remnant (yeah we're doing the remnant shit, much differently than canon though so it's pretty simple to understand. made from dead souls, excessive use gives the user extended life and/or immortality, as well as a rapid healing factor, however it also gives the user psychopathic and sadistic tendencies that can become uncontrollable. crazy magic purple goo)

Scott is employed a long while after Vincent meets him on a whim at a bar. Scott had just gotten past a divorce with his ex-wife, Morgan, and while Vincent wasn’t thinking he would enjoy Scott’s slightly tipsy rambles about her, he found him oddly enticing. Having also just broken up with Mahogany, Vincent's longest relationship ever (probably a year or two), he enjoyed some company. One night in specific, those dumb gays got a biiiiiiit too close and unlock a "friends with benefits" relationship. Cue Scott being confused abt his sexuality and Vincent being in denial about.. everything except his sexuality, really. If he’s sure of anything it’s that he fucks guys AND gals I guess (and the non-binaries, he's got love for us too <3) To make matters even more awkward they WORK TOGETHER NOW, nothing like having to work with the guy you saw in bed that one time and having to be like "ougghhhh just act normal........"

Mike was the bite of 87 victim at 7 years old, entering a coma for 8 years. Vincent and Scott are around 22 at the time of the bite, witnessing the whole thing. At this point the missing kids case is running rampant, Fazbears landing in hot water. Once Mike is out of hospitalization and fully recovered, while grieving his mother who passed away while he was in comatose, he gets a job at Burger King (please get the reference) temporarily. While working there he briefly dates a girl named Kat, they realized quickly though that they were better as friends and still have a strong platonic love for each other.

Vincent gets really paranoid about Scotts safety once he finds out his brother is a murderer, yet simultaneously becomes Williams test subject for remnant and is forced to keep his mouth shut. Waaaait. PARANOID? About SCOTT???? Whaaaaat?????? Is this bitter fake WHORE actually concerned about someone?? Huh.. on the other hand, Scott is noticing something off about the animatronics. Like an odd stench.. almost like- oh yeah no the missing children are in the animatronics. Can we get a "How many times Scott has to see a corpse" counter in here please. Both feeling unsafe and yet also obligated to stay in place, Scott and Vincent rely on each other to stay stable and keep this place afloat, both fully aware of William's endeavors but having their own reasons to not say anything. They sometimes stay up late talking about how much they despise William

Mike eventually meets a guy the same age as him named Astro, and due to family complications Astro is left living on the streets. Mike may be a dick but he's not heartless, so he allows Astro a spot on his couch. He could use the company anyway. The awkward tension between them dies down gradually as they get to know eachother, and at some point Mike quits his Burger King job and applies to work at Fazbears. He can't really recall what or why, but something, a little voice in the back of his head, told him he should apply. Weird. Astro decides to tag along, the guilt of not having a real job to pay back Mike eating him up.

Astro and Mike meet Vincent and Scott, as well as William. The gang is forming

Jeremy, Fritz, and Chris are all employed to heighten security and keep the place tidy.

While losing a grip on his sanity due to the remnant, Vincent is falling for Scott harder and harder as days go on, so you can imagine the absolute nightmare going on in his brain. What were once just delusional fantasies of Scott in the bedroom were now becoming butterflies in his stomach at the mere sight of him. While Vincent fell first, Scott definitely fell harder. Scott was dismissive of his feelings for a long time, forcing himself into denial over and over. They both tried to pursue other people but Vincent couldn't even stomach it more than once or twice, despite not being together yet he felt like he was cheating on Scott. Scott on the other hand had less guilt trying to continue pursuing women, but he had a slight unease.. does he actually.. like Vincent?

"So they should confess their feelings now right?" No DUMMY ur gonna have to wait (i'll move on from my purplephone delusions now sorry)

Adding onto the relationship stuff, Astro and Mike are beginning to develop feelings for each other as well. Mike is conflicted, because his entire life he thought he was straight, but he’s starting to realize maybe he was looking at men a bit more intently than he thought. Astro on the other hand, who was already confident in his sexuality, wanted nothing more than to kiss that stupid bald man. Around when they're both 22 Mike drunkenly confesses by accident and while it does take a while, they're able to talk normally and start officially going out. Ofc this is explored more in-depth in the real story and not the tumblr summary of it

And I’m cutting it off there. There's a lot of story to this au and i am not powerful enough to type it all out, nor do i really want to yet!! If you have any specific lore questions, pls feel free to ask, im not as secretive when asked directly,,

And if it wasn't obvious enough, William and Vincent are different people, as well as Mike Schmidt and Michael Afton. That seems REALLY obvious if you read this far but still, I don't want any confusion.

Characters in-depth :

Astro Leroy Michel (Eventually just "Astro Schmidt") / "Doll" :

Astro is a gay, transgender man, and uses he/they pronouns

5'6

25 years old

He's married to Mike, having met him when they were both around 16 years old. They didn't start dating until they were in their early 20's, and getting married around their late 20's.

Generally polite and can bond with most people.

Takes a lot to make him panic, he's learned to have a tough exterior and to be more level-headed in stressful situations (which combats Mike's more extreme emotions)

He's punk !! Mike didn't know much abt punk beliefs until he met Astro, safe to say he thinks his husband is sick asf and they rant abt controversial/political topics together a lot.

Wears the pants in the relationship

Loves Mike sososososo much, he doesn't think anyone is as handsome or cute as his adorable husband :D

Grew up being really into the paranormal and has owned the same Ouija board ever since he was a kid. Which is my subtle way of saying he gradually becomes one of the most connected to the spirits of the dead children, being able to communicate with them the easiest, especially since they have no anger or suspicion towards him.

Only ever heard of Fazbear's as a kid, never actually went there due to their sheltered childhood.

HATES working at Fazbear's, but is primarily staying for Mike, who refuses to quit.

Very fascinated by bugs, wanting a pet centipede or tarantula, but Mike would never allow it.

Very close friends with Vincent and Chris, knowing things about the two that seemingly nobody else does. He cares about them a lot, and they're all smoking buddies and spend late nights together when things get tough.

Mike Schmidt :

Bisexual, cis man, uses he/him pronouns

6'0

25 years old

Married to Astro Schmidt, as previously mentioned. He's hopelessly in love with that man.

Ever since the Foxy incident when he was 7, in which he suffered extreme frontal lobe damage and was hospitalized, left in comatose for a large chunk of his life, he's been left permanently altered. The memory of the bite has been blocked out of his brain, his admiration for the pirate fox remaining, but a blanket of uncertainty covers it ever so slightly.

The only people who know about the incident are William, Scott, and Vincent. None of them say anything.

Owns a crutch to help with his mobility at times, but refuses to use it. He thinks his friends will see him as weak, even if it would help him in the long run. Astro encourages him to use it whenever possible, with mixed results.

The brain trauma has left him with jittering, shaking hands. He gets easily frustrated with himself due to this and resorts to violence to get those emotions out, hence the bandages.

Most assume he just has heterochromia, which he won't deny, simply because he doesn't like getting into his past, but his left eye is actually a prosthetic.

Covers up his insecurities by acting all tough and macho, very short temper, "doesn't take shit from no one" type of guy. Until he's with Astro. Then he's a big 'ol softie.

Under his shell of an unapproachable, brutal guy, he's very compassionate and, while struggling with empathy, can still be there to support the ones he cares about.

His main coping mechanism for all his issues, though, is excessive drinking. He feels like he doesn’t belong in his own body, not remembering what completely tore his life apart and feeling so lost and unsure of what his purpose even is. So down goes the alcohol

Ever since he started his job at Fazbear's, he kept a baseball bat on him, strapped to his back underneath his security jacket.

Hated Vincent at first, but he grew to appreciate him once he slowly realized the two weren't so different after all. I mean, he still finds him annoying, but they kind of have a weird trauma-bonded thing going on. Their personalities clash but they still understand each other to a certain degree.

Was annoyed by and dismissive of Jeremy when they first met, not understanding why someone so young was risking his life at a place like this. Overtime, he grew really fond of the kid, seeing him as a younger brother, or even like a son.

Sees Scott as a father figure, but he would never admit that. He didn’t have a dad at all growing up, he never even met the guy, so when he met Scott it was kinda surreal. Scott cares for and yet also mentors him like a father would, like his father would. It really unnerves him, making him lash out a lot, but when he gets drunk or broken down he can’t help but tell Scott how much it means to him.

Oh yeah, and Faith — he doesn’t know about her yet. He barely even remembers the times they crossed paths when they were kids. He does eventually find out that she’s possessing him, and he doesn’t react very well. They adapt to each other soon enough though, once he realizes she’s only been protecting him. Faith usually forces herself into control if Mike is in extreme danger, resulting in a huge migraine and memory loss of the entire instance afterwards once Mike is back in control.

Hates Fazbear's. So much. The pay is shit, his boss is annoying, the whole nine yards. Yet he's staying, because despite it all he really loves his friends and the life he's built working here. Maybe everything will be okay.

Jeremy Fitzgerald :

Aroace, transman, he/him pronouns

5'4

19 years old

A very quiet young man, one of the most recent recruits to the Fazbear team and primarily just an intern. Almost an unpaid one, but Scott cut him some slack. He's really just trying to get money to pay for college and half of the rent at his dads house.

Generally silent and kept to himself, having a high amount of social anxiety. He carries a gameboy and some flashy cat headphones, gaming in his free time when he just wants to be by himself

Terrified of his job, always had a bad feeling about it, but it was the only place that would hire him. He grows accustomed to some of the animatronics though, like the marionette. He always enjoyed weird, circus-y things like that

INCREDIBLY kind, almost to his own dismay. Once he breaks through his awkward and shy shell, he's the most loyal, silly, and compassionate friend you could ever have

He loves snacks, anime, and video games, as well as what would be deemed today as more “cottagecore” fashion. Although, on some days, he rocks an oversized graphic tee and some sweatpants, because mans is tired

Idolizes Mike a lot, seeing him as an older brother or father figure. Mike also makes him feel more comfortable in his masculinity, helping his dysphoria and breaking him out of his shell, especially when Mike invites him to workout sessions. He feels the same about Astro, especially since Astro is an older trans guy who helps Jeremy through his journey

Where Jeremy’s relationship with Mike takes longer to develop and flesh out, he immediately saw Scott as a fatherly figure. He really appreciates Scott’s kindness and gentle demeanor despite looking like this big, stoic manager. He owes Scott his life, and he wants to be just as kind as he is, especially if he ever wants children when he’s older. He doesn’t wanna repeat the same mistakes as his biological dad. Never.

Jeremy and his biological father have a horrible relationship, and his mother passed away in a car accident when he was young. He barely remembers what she looks like, and hates looking his dad in the eyes. Because of this, in art, his mom will be portrayed with a completely blank face, and his dad's face will be crossed out with a X

Over time, Jeremy and Fritz grow very close, developing into a queerplatonic relationship (they don't know that this is a term, to them they're just platonic soulmates that hold hands n kiss on the cheek sometimes !!) They also binge cartoons and anime together, and bond over hobbies and common interests

Jeremy is close with Chris as well, hanging out with him and Fritz primarily, mainly when Mike and Astro are busy

Vincent Afton/Bishop :

Pansexual, cis man, he/him pronouns

39 years old

Starts using Scott's last name (Bishop) a bit into their romantic relationship, not because they're married, but because Vincent would rather it seem like they are married than keep using the last name Afton (and let's be honest, Vincent wants to put a ring on that finger so bad)

The begrudging younger brother of William Afton, as mentioned he was adopted as an infant. His parents didn’t really like him though, and neither did William. He didn’t notice until he was older that the majority of the time William was just using him, which never ended up changing.

Vincent was always the first test subject for everything William did, including remnant. When William discovered remnant, he subjected Vincent to that torture completely against his will. This resulted in an addiction with extremely severe and dangerous side effects, turning a seemingly normal guy into uummm,,purple guy WOAHHHH they said the thing (Vincent may have also been the first springlock victim but that’s to be determined)

In Vincent’s early 20’s (so around 1985,,just for reference), William put a contraption in Vincent’s jaw while he was unconscious that forces his mouth to stay in a wide grin, so anytime Vincent tries to do simple tasks like eat, talk, close his mouth, or frown, he’s in excruciating pain. As a result he’s always smiling. Fuck Lost and Found William he’s a bitch

On a more lighthearted topic, Vincent’s childhood wasn’t all bad. He would watch his mom play the piano and studied her techniques for years, using it as an escape and a way to relieve stress growing up. Unfortunately it went to the back of his mind when he moved out to live with William (stupid decision). Also, he totally had spunk and style in the 80’s. We’re keeping his love for funky suits, he loves dolling himself up

He still has his toast addiction, not as severely but warm slices of toast with butter are unironically his comfort food

Vincent spent a lot of his 20’s parading himself around and using his flirty and eccentric facade to get himself laid almost everyday. He didn’t form meaningful connections with anyone, nor did he have any interest in doing so. He was going through a rough patch and wanted a quick and easy way out of it every night, that’s all.

Although, that lifestyle came to a surprising halt when he met a man at his usual bar once. He had never seen him there before, and considering he was thinking of just rotting in bed that night instead, it was an utter coincidence that they even saw each-other, let alone conversed and slowly developed a friendship. Of course this man was Scott Bishop, a kindhearted guy who lost his job as a nurse and simultaneously lost his wife in a divorce. Scott and Vincent’s relationship hit a bit of a road bump one night where they were both a little tipsy and decided to spend the night together (aka they had sex), resulting in Vincent being terrified that he might actually feel things for this man and Scott being confused because he might actually be gay (more on Scott in his section). Vincent had to wrestle with the idea that he felt a real emotional connection to this guy, actually being concerned for his well-being and wanting to be with him every second of every day. Which wasn’t like him, at all. He was falling in love and it was terrifying.

Vincent DOES become a serial killer but he didn’t kill the children, his kills came from a psychotic break after being filled with remnant for years and a thirst for blood. He still feels remorse and guilt for his actions and despises William for killing innocent children.

Was a fun uncle to Williams kids but nothing much more than that, he was awkward around kids and preferred Evan (crying child’s name in laffnaf) since he was quiet and didn’t cause many problems. His relationship with Michael got rough after the bite of 83, Evan’s death hitting him like a truck and he wasn’t sure how easy it would be to forgive Michael, despite still wanting to be there for his nephew. They never really got to patch things up before Vincent got preoccupied with his own affairs. To this day he isn’t sure if Michael is even alive.

Still has his flirty and eccentric personality but he slowly gains more genuine confidence and learns how to express his emotions properly and be there for people he cares about. He’s still pretty blunt and hits on people for funsies but he makes it clear when he’s just joking around. People still find him creepy and off putting nevertheless.

Obviously he’s in love with Scott so I’ll briefly mention his relationships with everyone else. He’s best friends with Astro, the two having similar interests and humor and they love gossiping in their free time. He loves to pick on Mike but deep down he respects him and the work he does, plus the trauma he went through. He also loves to mess with Jeremy, taking advantage of his jumpiness and using that to scare him shitless all the time. Practically forced into the manager position by William, who was once manager but started losing interest in that portion of his job, so all the stress was put on Scott. That includes everyone else’s jobs too, as he’s kinda expected to fill in for whoever isn’t present. For example if Fritz isn’t at work, Scott has to take care of the animatronics. If Mike stays home, Scott (or Vincent if Scott asks him to bc he’s pathetic) has to fill in for him. So you can imagine how stressed Scott is when he gets home every night, if he even does. His ACTUAL job is the dayshift, but with everyone else to manage, he goes days without sleeping sometimes.

If you thought Jeremy was unbearably kind, try THIS loser. His kindness hurts him. Even if you're a bitch to him, he'll be there for you if you're having a bad day. He cares about his employees lives more than his own, and has the scars to prove that he would do anything to protect them. Ontop of that, he's a huge goofball, more than people assume or give him credit for. He always knows the punchlines to Mikes jokes, kinda aggravating Mike sometimes but deep down they appreciate each others humor.

Really loves books and reading, but also infatuated by really dark concepts and topics. He doesn’t really fear death as much as he accepts that it’s inevitable. That didn’t really change when he began working at Fazbears. He would sacrifice himself for his employees and that’s that, if he died for a good cause then he died happy.

Probably the most infuriated by the missing children case. He began working at Fazbear's in the 80's, around 1987 to be exact. His first run-in with a child nearly dying being the Bite of '87. He already felt horrifically guilty for that, so you can imagine the fear and stress as more and more children that he saw everyday just slowly went missing. Children he comforted when they were sad, children whose parents he had fond relationships with. They were all ticked off, one by one. Scott found out all the details about William being the killer through Vincent, but he was also convinced by him not to say anything, due to William’s large influence and capability of silencing anyone who speaks out against him. After all, Fazbears is a largely successful corporation in this universe. It’s still dirt cheap and looks like shit, but the Afton name is very well known. It can’t be tarnished, no matter how badly Scott wants to tear it all to the ground.

Wears his giant phone mask to look more like a mascot for Freddy Fazbear’s (other than Freddy himself....), and to cover up his face during the dayshift, which he deems too “unsettling” for the kids to see (wtf man you have ONE scar get a grip ur beautiful). The kids grew attached to him, his mask plastered with sharpie drawings and little stickers by the end of the day. He would NEVER remove them, never. He wasn’t sure how good he would be with handling kids, but he always ends up smiling by the end of the day, even if he’s stressed out. Once again, it got really under his skin that his boss murdered those kids.

Also — the phone reacts to his emotions. I don’t know the logistics, it just does. It’s just a helmet but when Scott puts it on he can emote and make facial expressions that are expressed by the phone, and yet it also still works as a phone. I don’t know, okay? Moving on.

Confused by and yet also entranced by Vincent. He loves to watch him, analyzing him in his brain, figuring out what makes him tick. He loves the attention too, even if he playfully shoves Vincent away a lot he loves how touchy and clingy he is. The way he hugs him from behind, grabs his hand, holds his face, oh my lord. It makes him completely melt, the compliments too, it all goes right to his brain and makes him all warm and giggly.

But he’s TOTALLY straight, right?

Yeah no. Everyone point and laugh. He doesn’t even know what was going through his head when he accepted Vincent’s offer that night, the logic of how he came out of that still thinking he’s straight is utterly ridiculous. You kissed a man Scott oh my lord

As for the other guards, as previously stated, Scott cares about them a lot. He has a big soft spot for Jeremy and surprisingly Mike, treating them as if they were his sons. He’s aware of Jeremy’s awful relationship with his dad, being the one to actually physically save him from that household, and trusting Mike to take Jeremy in and live with him and Astro. He would’ve done it himself if he could’ve, but he just has too much going on already. He and Mike also had a mutual understanding that Jeremy’s father must be “dealt with”, sending Mike off to do so. We don’t fw Jeremy’s dad here.

He’s also aware of Mike’s self-destructive behaviors and drinking problem, indulging in drinking with Mike sometimes to make him feel less alone, but the majority of the time he’s the one staying sober to make sure Mike is okay, alongside Astro. He’s like this with all the guards, recognizing their behaviors and habits and being there if he feels like they need him, which 9 times out of 10 they do.

He also thinks - no, knows that he owes Mike. He owes Mike a lot. Despite none of it being his fault, despite doing his best to save Mike that day, he just needs to be there for him. It's the least he could do for keeping it all a secret.

Fritz

Aroace, non-binary, he/they king

Still mostly prefers masculine terms despite being non-binary, honestly he doesn't even know the term non-binary exists. He just knows he doesn't fully feel like a guy

Biiiiiiiig tech guy, very very good with computers and all kinds of technology. He genuinely loves working on the animatronics and sneaking in little upgrades without William knowing

Very friendly, but not the most social unless it's about something that directly interests him. This is why he gets along with Jeremy so well, as they have very similar interests, and Jeremy always asks questions about programming and hacking that Fritz loves to tell him all about

Was briefly fired for tampering with the animatronics after hours, but was quickly re-hired by Scott when he realized they couldn't find a mechanic with nearly as much ambition, drive, and skill as Fritz

Weird comedic relief thing -- Fritz made Balloon Boy in this AU. BB was NEVER meant to be part of William's animatronic roster, and while he isn't Fritz's best work, Fritz thinks he's just so goofy looking that he HAS to be included. BB is packed with motion-activated voice lines Fritz installed in his voicebox, causing nothing but annoyance for the rest of the guards. Everyone but Fritz hates that stupid thing

Apart from his pookie Jeremy he also hangs out with Chris and sometimes Mike, but none of the other guards really talk to him much. Not out of hostility or anything, just because they know Fritz prefers his privacy and focusing on his work.

The chillest guy there, spends 90% of his time blasting music from his walkman into his ears and humming n bobbing his head to the beat of his music as he sweeps the floors

Friends with EVERYONE, but he certainly has his favorites. He loves listening to Mike ramble and theorize, enjoys Scott's wisdom on dark n spooky topics, likes chilling with Fritz and Jeremy due to being similar in age and interests, but as previously mentioned he likes smoking (weed) with Astro and Vincent on weekends and therefore those two have become his best friends over time. At work though, he would probably pick Mike

Lives in a dusty old apartment with his black hairless cat, Lucky. He loves his dusty old apartment

Loves piercings, tattoos, graffiti art, all kinds of stuff like that

Doesn't really pay much mind to the whole "haunted pizzeria" thing, he thinks it's real interesting and all but he has bigger worries. Like sweeping the shit outta those floors so he can afford to feed his cat this week

General SecurityWaiter/DreamTheory headcanons cause I just love them (part 1 cause I will never shut up abt them)

+some other general fnaf movie character (Abby mostly) stuff but mainly still SW/DT related, random timeline order I’m just spewing

-Mike goes to Sparky’s before and after work. He gets coffee before work cause DUH, and then sometimes he’ll get a small breakfast/some coffee in the morning so he doesn’t immediately pass out after his shift. Thats how him and Ness met. First impressions were along the lines of Mike thinking that this waiter talks too much, especially for the hours it is, and Ness just think Mike seems interesting and mysterious (lowkey thinks he might be a cryptid)

-the SECOND Mike lets slip that he works at Fazbear’s Ness is OBSESSED with talking to him more. He already thought he seemed interesting but now he knows he works at the place that he’s being obsessing over for YEARS he is NEVER gonna stop asking him shit and infodumping (Mike finds this very annoying at first, but then eventually realizes that Ness does in fact know quite a bit abt Freddy’s which he finds interesting and helpful so he starts actually engaging in the conversation)

-Ness has asked Mike to take them to Freddy’s multiple times, he has yet to say yes (not like Ness hasn’t broken in before. They’re half the reason they needed a security guard)

-Mike is insecure abt the height difference (and his height in general) but Ness literally just wants to squeeze him and go like ubububbubububu ur so cute ubububbubububu (me)

-Mike is actually fairly strong cause he likes to work out (it’s a coping mechanism) so sometimes he picks Ness up (like bridal style and shit) and it lowkey gives him gender euphoria and Ness just fucking loves it it makes them so giddy

-I saw smth somwhere abt Ness possibly being Sparky’s owner’s son so I’m just gonna second that and say that that’s why he works there so many hours (aka he basically helps run the place) but it’s also why he can kind get off work whenever he wants

-Mike complaining abt this annoying waiter who talks to much and is obsessed with Freddy’s peaks Abby’s interest so she asks Mike to take her to Sparky’s and that’s how Abby and Ness meet (they become best friends ever and sometimes Ness takes care of her when Mike is busy)

-Abby has plushies of the fazgang and a collection of fazcoins and other collectibles that Mike got her from the prize counter (not like anyone else is using them) and she shows them to Ness who absolutely FLIPS OUT about it. She also uses the faztokens as money for when they play pretend

-MIKE has freckles NOT NESS because Josh hutcherson LITERALLY HAS FRECKLES THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT /hj /lh

-Ness has a cat named Skip (cause he’s literally just MatPat /hj)

-Mike has passed out at Sparky’s before (usually like Saturday mornings after his shift since he doesn’t have to worry abt taking Abby to school, I mean not like he does it intentionally but he’s less worried abt it so sometimes he just zonks) and Ness will bring him soft shit to lay his head on and then gently wake him up and offer him coffee, which he eventually starts giving him on the house (totally just cause they knows he’s struggling financially and NOT because they’re flirting /j)

-I LOVE the “Mike can’t cook and Ness loves cooking” headcanon so I wanna say that’s real, but looking at the movie, Mike’s been taking care of Abby for years and cooks dinner for them multiple nights, and Ness is a waiter…based on the information given, Mike would theoretically (hehe theory) be the one who cooks ☝️🤓 /hj

-Abby demands to paint both their nails. Ness more than happily agrees but Mike is hesitant (dysphoria and general “ugh little girl stuff” type energy) but she keeps asking so he lets her paint them black (cause that’s so edgy and cool and masculine /j) and he learns he actually likes it quite a bit

First of all, YOU ARE SO RIGHT! Like, how can you say Armand is not autistic after reading the Devil's Minion chapter? That man has some severe hyperfixations fr (same). Also his self-soothing behavior every time he's anxious or overstimulated, like the finger and shoulder rubbing? The eye contact avoiding? Omg.

I really appreciate you used a real life neurodivergent person to base Armand's behavior, honestly, I'm so tired of people thinking all autistics are the same. Like no we can be freaky and evil as well leave us alone 😞 And you're right, sometimes meltdowns can be low key scary specially for someone who doesn't have any knowledge on the topic (is that well explained? I'm always scared of my english being bad)

For me, Armand is a really important character, I love him and I understand him so so much. A year ago my ex dumped me and told me I was manipulative and mean. He also said I changed personalities sometimes. He also wanted to have sex like all the time (and let's just say it wasn't the sweetest sex lol) So I feel so connected with Armand, he is always blamed for everything and used for his body. Nobody asks him how he is, what his interests are, everyone is so mean towards him and I love Devil's Minion so much 'cause Daniel is literally the first person to see Armand as a person and not a body or something to possess and control. And I feel like Armand feels control in his life for the first time when he meets Daniel and that's why he obsessed so much over him. Armand was always Daniel's first and only choice ☹️

I honestly hated Louis so much when he said the "My daddy vampire groomed me into a little bitch" line, like, why would you say something like that? Especially after using your partners trauma as a fucked up fantasy and being shameless about it? The "Maître" thing is really sad to me, and the "Face down in the coffin" scene? It was NOT hot, tbh it was just uncomfortable. Armand was just trying to tell Louis something and talk about his day and he just cuts him like he doesn't even care :/ not cool and it's not something that should be romanticized. Armand's only way to feel powerful and in control is through sex, but Louis is always reminding him of his fucked up past and trauma like it's attractive. That's why I don't like Loumand AT ALL.

And now that you mentioned it, I do have a really cool idea to write abt! I think you would do such good work with my idea, but I don't wanna be annoying and it's also really specific 😭 but I would really love to share it with you bc I think you'd like it lots (It's your usual hurt/comfort freaky fucked up stuff so, yeah)

Armand is very submissive during sex, so I think "powerful" might not be the word you mean. Do you mean that sex makes Armand feel "safe" or "important" instead? If so, I totally agree!

"Maître" and "Face down in the coffin" make me uncomfortable, too. I am very (VERY) kink-friendly, but Armand's tendency to submit during sex is a trauma response. first is Twilight Sparkle

I kin twilights autistic traits. She stims, has “tantrums” (they’re not necessarily meltdowns/shutdowns but are an outburst), bad at keeping secrets, basically all the stuff she learns before becoming a princess, her “twilighting”, takes stuff literally, has special interests, dislikes change, sometimes can’t tell her own emotions, and plans for everything that doesn’t need planning (I got all this from TikToks btw I’m not observant enough to notice all these things)

Next is Fluttershy

I also kin her autistic/personality traits. She struggles to meet new people, easily talks abt her spins, is shy and quiet but louder when you get to know her, poor time management, misinterpret things, enjoys being in the background but still part of things, and overly sensitive

Next is Pinkie Pie

Pinkie pie was one of the first characters I ever kinned, I kin her personality as a whole; aside from her blatant extrovertedness towards strangers and love for parties and sweets. She is my unmasked autism, she was me when I was younger and was my favorite for a loooong time before wind Whistler and Celestia came along

Last is Derpy Hooves

I kin Derpy’s personality and autistic traits as a whole. She is forgetful (hence her other name, Ditzy Doo), clumsy, and has a spin. There isn’t much to her since she’s a fan loved character and not meant to rlly have substance but I relate to her fully either way

honorable mention: Wind Whistler

(She’s the blue and pink pony) Wind Whistler is my favorite character out of the entire franchise, I kind of kin her. I relate to her logical thinking, although it doesn’t go to the point where my emotions don’t get in the way like it does for her. Sometimes I catch myself talking formally like she does too

OK FIRST OFF I HAVE A REFERENCE SHEET

HERES A MORE FLESHED OUT VER OF HIS BACKSTORY (also their weapon did change it is a spear so they can kebab pincer like how they did in the og starship) they were a familiar of the overqueen witch also know as Queen Entoma (i wrote her name out in witch runes :3) —

— when a couple years back a powerful team of magical girls died in the labyrinth, they’re soul gems breaking sent out some magical energy which cause some nearby familiars (bug, roach, bugette, the mosquito bros + sweetheart) sentient. bug spent most of their time sentient finding random stuff that the magical girls left behind, believing them to be lost and was able to somewhat learn japanese from it ANYWAY later feb wanders in, mistakenly thinking the rest of the gleeful 4 (her group) was in there and then got hit in the eyes by a web of a spider-like familiar and was blinded, calling out for her team, bug finds her and helps her out, pretending to be another magical girl, before feb can see them they run back to the labyrinth and finds kyupin (kyuubey + pincer) and decides to wish to be a magical girl! turning into a teen girl along with fake documents and an apartment (the wish was like specifically “I wanna be a human magical girl, with a life outside of this place!” that’s why the fake documents n apartment were created) she starts going to mitakihara and meets up with feb again and becomes the now fifth member of the now gleeful 5 (their first meeting is similar to that of madoka and homuras in the second timeline where homura was like ‘OMG IM A MAGICAL GIRL TOO!!!’) but little does bug know the more he uses their human form the more her soul gem gets darker (if they turn into a witch they’ll just make another overqueen but will still be bug, so then there would just kinda be 2 overqueens) ALSO I MADE HEIGHT CHARTS

also i didn’t talk a lot abt the other characters but i’m planning on tootsie noodles n krayonder (maybe jr too ??) being magical girls (specifically a duo/trio who sometimes work with the gleeful 5) anyway jr is the son of the like mayor of mitakihara or a descendant of the founder (haven’t decided) so his family is kinda famous :3 he and feb are the most popular kids in school, the rest of the gleeful 5 are popular by extension but bug a little less because… to the other students something is just… off about her? only feb really seems to not have any wariness towards them. tootsie noodles and krayonder are also kinda popular because krayonder is specs childhood friend and tootsie has been hanging around mega girl recently and she doesn’t seem to mind. OH YEAH I DREW FEB

also here’s mitakihara uniform bug

anyways up is also taz’s adopted father !! Also for nationalities and parent situations and wishes !! for the ones who i’ve figured out what they wished for and haven’t said yet :3 Bug pretends to be from America and they recently moved to japan after their parents died cause that was where they were born and their parents are from so their only relatives live here, febs parents are americans who moved to japan before she was born and when taz’s parents died they had a brief friendship the year before so she wished for taz to be able to still stay with a relative, taz is half japanese half spanish, taz’s parents died a year ago (in this they are all 15 except for up and also if ur like ‘wow these are some tall 15 yr olds’ I KNOW but like… 15 year olds nowadays r either really tall or really short) and up, being their only living relative (like distant uncle) taz had to move in with them, she wished for the ability to be strong (mainly so she could get through the death of her parents) but it made her more closed off and angry, but did make her physically strong, jr is half japanese half american and his parents are FUCKING LOADED but never home, he wished for power and popularity, krayonder is japanese and has a good life even if he moved around a lot when he was younger he was still able to keep in contact with specs, coincidentally, that’s also what he wished for! tootsie is half american half japanese and was raised on a farm, his family moved to mitakihara recently, I CANT THINK OF A WISH <\3 mega girl is japanese and lived in mitakihara her whole life, her parents were closed off and indifferent about most things but unlike them, she was pretty emotional, when she went through her first heartbreak (it was baaad), she wished for the ability to feel less, and now only has slight inklings of feelings instead. specs is japanese and i honestly have no idea for but her mother was a teacher at mitakihara uni and her father was a engineer, she wished for the ability to be as smart as her parents want her to be. Up is spanish and moved to japan recently when he found out that his distant niece had no home and didn’t want her to go through the foster care system, he also found out about the magical girl thing when he asked taz about why the ring she kept wearing recently kept changing between a bright red and a murky red, and taz was kinda shocked but shocked enough that she just told him about being a magical girl. Up is an old war veteran also and his house became the DHS (designated hangout spot) for the gleeful 5.

OH YEAH they r also all gonna get alt names, not just bug :3 but I haven’t figured those out yet, I also haven’t drawn the other chars yet so that’s why there’s only feb and bug art :3 ALSO I’m planning on turning this into a fic !! I’m not the best writer and still need to find somebody to beta it but SOON.

Since I’m feeling nostalgic, everything I can remember from my first, now-lost fanfic Prince’s Heritage (and all the other stuff that came after):

Obv it was a DBZ fic with the protag being named Kaiick; a third child and daughter to Vegeta and Bulma. The other protag, who entered the story later, was Kenko, a third child and son to Goku and Chi-Chi.

Kaiick had been like? Reverse-reverse isekaied? She was originally from the DBZ world, got put into the real world then sent back to the DBZ world.

She got put at Goku’s home for some reason and I think? He saw the resemblance and had her go meet her parents?

There was also an aside about Chi-Chi having a Cadillac/Charger/other “cool car” that I found really funny at the time (classic lolrandom humor) then a friend ribbed me for it years after the fact so I ended up hating it

Can’t remember if she got to actually meet her parents but somewhere around here she got warped to Namek where she met Kenko, who was battling members of the Ginyu Force with a Z-Sword lookalike

(Now that I think about it, him wearing a blue headband (evoking his grandad) and wielding a sword (evoking his brother) is kinda kickass lmao)

Kaiick doesn’t like him initially but eventually there’s some shoehorned romance there

I don’t actually remember when we learn abt the organization that Kenko is from but it’s probably here:

He’s a part of the Dimensional Travelers which consists of two “characters who never were” from each universe who were in charge of keeping stability in their home universe and the multiverse at large. Since this was eventually planned to be some big crossover cinematic universe, “multiverse” included other media properties and even my original world of Saturnia. Part of their job is intervening when events “don’t go as they should” (hmmmm…) which was why Kenko was on Namek

Somewhere here we also learn about the Time Maelstrom, an entity who, for some reason, wants to become powerful and eat all the universes. He typically appeared as a burly dude in a black suit but had a giant dragon super form (which looked a bit like Shenron for no reason)

Kaiick and Kenko decide to go after him (??) where he is in the Florida Everglades (idk man) and kind of pathetically lose lmao. I’m pretty sure one or both die and the first fic ends on a cliffhanger

This is where the shoehorned romance really came to light bc before he killed them, the Time Maelstrom made them confess their love for each other before he killed them

This is where things get really fragmented for the sequel but here’s what I remember:

I’m pretty sure the next fic opens on them having been separated. I think only Kaiick died? Either way, she’s at King Kai’s planet while someone (probably the rest of the Dimensional Travelers) gathers the Dragon Balls to wish her back. She’s sulky and mad at Kenko (I think blaming him for her death?). King Kai trains her a bit and gives her some advice that largely amounts to ‘hey don’t be so mad at your new BF’

She gets wished back to some desert planet (I think in another universe too?) with some other Dimensional Traveler. The plan now is to regroup and figure out how to plot a massive assault against the Time Maelstrom. Kaiick’s still sulky but I think at this point she just misses her beau

Sometime she reunites with him at a snowy location where some enemy has captured him and plans to torture/experiment/otherwise hurt Kenko. This sorta thing allows Kaiick to tap into her ~darker emotions~ and create the Shadow Saiyan form; a form with electric blue eyes, black hair with blue tips and lightning. She basically murders the enemy but Kenko has to talk her down, as the form clouds her mind with MURDER

Somewhere there’s the final assualt on the Maelstrom which for some reason takes place in the real world and near my middle school (guess what school I was in at this point lmao). We also meet one of the Saturnia representatives who is a comedically cowardly bird (I think an owl?) Why I did that to my own world I have 0 clue

There was also going/actually was a Pokemon spinoff called “Corruption” (except it was stylized differently). It starred Proto-Obsidian, who was a pokemon trainer, son of Black (who also had a connection with Zekrom which is why he’s associated with lightning now).

(That fic actually isn’t lost but is woefully incomplete and no, I’m not linking it. The final fic actually moved away from its spinoff nature but lets see what I can remember of the first version)

Proto-Obsidian gets reruited by a pretty lady who’s implied to be Arceus who also introduces him to Zekrom. His whole mission is to figure out the origin of an outbreak of Missingno that are attacking various locations of the Pokemon world.

It’s the Time Maelstrom, of course, destabilizing the universe for some reason. He also is just flat out a dragon here and a smaller western-style one to boot. His whole shtick though was shapeshifting so makes sense.

Obsidian kinda-sorta gets recruited by him but actually the Maelstrom just exposes him to a potent glitch (I wanna say it was actually a ‘M instead of a normal Missingno) which ~turns him evil~ and creates Error, a evil, sadistic counterpart

The Dimensional Travelers then tap the other DT for that universe; Noblivia, daughter of N and companion to Reshiram (again, why canon Noblivia now has a connection to fire). Despite not knowing Obsidian, she feels a connection to him as their fathers knew each other and thus wants to save him

There was probably going to be more shoehorned romance bc lil aro me thought, bc media, thats just what happened with male and female characters who had to work together

So. Leviathans in supernatural could have been really played for the long run, there were implications that not all of them were forced back to “The Purg”

Leviathans can mutate an angel, so why cant they mutate other beings? Talking full body horror werewolf mutated to the point of radiation poisoning like distress type of mutations. Cosmic being being sucked dry by these parasites and infected by a madness (space rabies?)

Recently I went down the cool DnD monster hole and I thought “hey, what if a Leviathan mutated a Mimic?” got kinda demogorgon-esque and that led me to the epic and cool idea of what a leviathan dick would look like. or vag. or both at the same time (long story)

Anyway this all leads to “How would Castiel treat a half-human character or monster?” regardless of what they have or havent done. He respects human life sure but he was antagonistic with Sam at first and downright ready to kill a CHILD who was half-demon (not for the first time nor the last)

Would late-season Cas drop kick a half-human child? likely not, but I have decided to ask around for opinions on what people think Castiel would do on his own in reference to any not full human in any capacity. (unknown if hes ever met garth which I thought about a LOT) bc he isnt exactly nice to werewolves or vamps or anyone he isnt on neutral/decent terms with and even then its a moment-to-moment things.

What do you think Castiel would act like around non-humans (or angels)? Would he drop kick a child just for being in proximity of a hunt bc the adult monsters were doing not great stuff?

But umm, i may be a bit biased bcuz cas is one of my top 3 faves (besides belph & jack), but I do genuinely think, at least after meeting jack, he would be more lenient. If its the later seasons before Kline..? um, im not sure but probably not.

The winchesters aren't the friendliest to kids, especially not when they're monsters, but over the series (ignoring a few certain instances) they have been willing to spare kids/teens that were half-monster for a number of reasons. most of those reasons are, admittedly, because they have a way of turning them back (e.g. Vampires. Literally just vampires that haven't drinken blood yet lawl. sometimes other things i guess But Not Really), and also y'know, Garth; and since Cas has picked up most of his hunting knowledge from them, i imagine in certain situations, he would copy that behavior and let them go :c But also can we talk about garth can we talk about cas and garth meeting Can we do that

I would love to talk more abt the leviathan concept too though, i love making spn species less boring and more awesome sauce 🔥🔥🔥

thinking abt how rtc could be made into a Full Length Musical. (and Yeah it already is but its only a 90 min one act. what if we made it 2 hours yknow.)

this is also bc i think abt rtc already as sort of having a Break between 2 acts in a way. and it’s after talia. the first lull/conversation moment. then everything gets Different (and not just bc of sabm lol) idk. that’s just how i think abt it sometimes

but here’s what i’d do:

1) go into more depth abt what happened when it crashed. i want injuries and specific causes of death and Whatnot (and when we meet the cast later in the show have them display similarities to that too.. kinda like jane and her head!! but with all of them!!)

-itd be like. part of their intros. like… noel gruber. most romantic boy in town. pisces, sign of passion. favorite ride: the ferris wheel. cause of death: basically gutted in the cyclone. like karnak knows all that. why not Tell Me abt it :)))

-jane would still be Most apparent though. like she’s got the doll and the contacts and the whole Look to show she’s headless. the rest don’t have physical stuff like that. it’s more like they just display phantom pains. mannerisms and stuff

-fr just give me noel being impaled by something and ocean getting the Next Worst (to jane) bc I’m Still Pushing That Stuff

2) i want more Conversation interactions!!! this can be after talia bc ik they cut the love conquers all stuff in recent versions. a) bring that Back b) it’d be before oceans library card rant bc i Love how that segues into space age bachelor man. so Keep that. but fr!! make them Talk to each other more!!

give me ocean and noel having a Conversation and actually Seeing each other better and perhaps apologizing instead of attacking each other because they’ve seen both of their songs and backstories now (as in give me ocean and noel Sibling Dynamic !!!)

give me mischa and ricky talking abt how SICK everything is even though they’re dead. even though mischa hasn’t even seen sabm yet he still thinks ricky’s the fuckin coolest guy ever bc of the Squeeze Keys™️ yknow (and also having the mischa-noel hug before that just makes him think abt it all More)

finally. give me constance and jane. give me constance still being scared to talk to her but finally hearing her out and letting her talk abt Whatever she wants to say yknow. let jane tell constance why she keeps trying to be her friend.

and i can’t stress this enough but it would be in Addition to their conversations after the new birthday song!!!! a) ocean and constance’s is an incredible transition into jawbreaker/sugar cloud and i don’t want to lose that and b) i Love watching them interact. they’re all such interesting characters <33

hmm well i don't like them romantically. when it comes to the yuukei quartet ships I'd put them at the bottom 💔 mostly cuz i just dont ship haruka with anyone other than takane (but for some reason i pass takane around like a blunt) and also it means a lot to me that the reason haruka recognizes he loves takane is bc he defines shintaro as a friend but feels sad putting takane in the same category bc of the different feelings she entails.

and I HAVE THIS PET PEEVE that is a bit silly and nuanced. and it implies a lil bit of jin bashing so TOTAL AND COMPLETE DISCLAIMER i love jin's work and his characters and i immensely respect everything he's done for this franchise he shares with us and clearly loves. that said fuck his misogynistic fucking writing

uhhh soooo platonic wise i love them. but its also not my favorite dynamic to explore, id repeat some of the stuff ive already written, it does bother me shintaro is Normal to haruka and not to ayano and takane and haruka acts like nothing. it's just a big thing that annoys me generally abt them lol and i find it tough to separate from author like i normally would with these weird things he includes because this bit is just a whole dynamic you know?? i could.... go on abt this but um. sorry ive been talking for a while. its definitely something im kinda bitter about in the writing.

but still they're definitely sweet, and i understand the appeal completely!!! these are just My thoughts i think its 2023 and i wont get death threats for not liking a ship anymore but also haruka is shintaro's bisexual awakening that is for damn sure. i like entertaining the onesided concept. shintaro being like hahahaha what if we kisssed like ayano and takane apparently did and haruka is like No thanks.

anon you have zero idea what youve just unleashed. (this little parenthetical was writtten after everything else in this post but this is focusing on thesterius bc it just got SO LONG. barreleifdrias will have to wait </3)

ok so. hades video game 2018. you play as a dude named zagreus fighting to escape the ancient greek underworld but the point is that when you get to elysium, the two guys blocking your exit are theseus, the theseus of minotaur and ship and labors fame, only hes an annoying pro wrestling vibes egotistical blond (/derogatory /JOKE) dude, and the minotaur, the cannibalistic half man half bull monster in the labyrinth, only hes a chill honorable (hot) dude named asterius. and theyre best bros!!!! despite their meeting and the myth theyre most famous for being theseus killing the minotaur, asterius and theseus are now super best friends. theyre so unlikely but the respect for each other is clearly so deep. reason one why theyre compelling.

and its like, theseus is so annoying that general fandom opinion is that hes the worst character in hades, in a “you love to hate him” playful way sometimes, or real hatred depending on which circles of the hades fandom you trawl, but hes Written to be disliked. even tho hes the hero of the original story, a hero among the ranks of like, heracles and that ilk. and meanwhile, everyone loves asterius bc hes such a bro, hes so chill and respectful and honorable, so many people think hes hot, people are like “dump theseus you could do so much better”, hes such a fan fave. even tho hes the monster of the original story, the villain!!! that role reversal is so so compelling!!!!!! hades didnt even change anything abt their backstories on paper but their personalities are what makes it a sort of roleswap. like theseus’ only redeeming quality is that he loves asterius so much, and asterius’ only real flaw is that hes so dedicated to theseus lmao

and its especially cool in hades bc its like, asterius, the minotaur, the one that everyone in the hades fandom loves way more, is an actual person. the minotaur is half man of course. theres so much thats added to the story of theseus and the minotaur overall by making asterius a person. but so very few stories take advantage of it. hades game first opened my eyes to the potential of asterius being an awesome character and i love it so much for it.

and THEN through menu stuff you eventually find out how the minotaur got such a high standing in elysium despite being a monster, fighting side by side w his killer-turned-bestie, adored by a crowd of cheering fans that watches your every fight, and especially constantly talked up by theseus himself. and as it turns out!!!!! after asterius died, he actually ended up in erebus. no surprise there, why shouldnt a half-animal monster end up in tartarus 2 electric boogaloo. but then when theseus died, he thought of asterius, and decided that since "their fame and glory were intertwined" (according to the in-game codex), if theseus deserved elysium for being part of the legendary theseus and the minotaur myth, surely asterius did too.

can you fucking imagine??? youre famous for killing a monster, you had an epic one-on-one fight to the death, but then when you get eternal paradise for it can you imagine thinking "hey what happened to the monster. hey what if he was a person. hey what if he was a person i could have join me in literal ancient greek heaven." and the codex says theseus almost certainly risked his own spot in elysium for it — the guy writing the codex would know, he tried to get his own boyfriend into elysium but ended up having to stay in hell in his boyfriend's place. but no theseus literally just got asterius into elysium, kept his own place there, and now theyre basically gladiator celebrities living(ish) their best lives(ish). THE SHEER ROMANTICISM OF IT.

like i was saying before asterius has always been a monster, but now the man who killed him is also the man who first saw him as a person...... a person worthy of paradise, a person worth saving, a person who gave him a glorious fight for the ages, a person. circling back around the roleswap thing, like a comment on one thesterius fic i read puts it, the player hates theseus bc of his in-game annoyingness, but learns to see him as a person through asterius' eyes, through asterius' high esteem of theseus and theseus' decent treatment of asterius. and at the same time, asterius has always been seen as a beast, but it was only through theseus' eyes and esteem and asterius was able to see himself as anything more.

AND THATS NOT EVEN ALL. this is all the backstory stuff, everything that takes place off-screen before the player even shows up. but zagreus (the player character) shows up and hes a polite guy so hes very nice to asterius bc asterius has been nothing but nice to him, even if they do have to fight often (bc asterius is both a miniboss on his own and the regional boss alongside theseus), its more like friendly and respectful sport than anything by the time they get to know each other. but theseus is constantly insulting zagreus bc of his own skewed sense of honor and dedication to the gods bc of theseus' own willful misunderstanding abt who zagreus is. that isnt super important but the point is, when theseus sees asterius, his bestie, being friends w zagreus, the guy he despises, guess what happens.

thats right. the "asterius is cheating on me 😭😭😭😭" arc. bc theseus is so sad and pathetic that he cant conceive of his bestie having any other friends. asterius Must be abandoning him to marry some other guy who is just so much nicer and cooler than him. and so theseus has a temper tantrum abt it. im bullying theseus rn bc hes a loser but also i dont like how relatable his feelings are during this arc.

if theseus sees asterius as a person worthy of love, then its also the same vice versa: asterius is the first person to see theseus as a real person Also Worth Love. hes not a monster, in fact hes a hero. he should be adored by all. and he does have his supporters in the arena! but do they like the real him? hes deeply annoying. he talks too much. hes desperately clingy to what friends he does have bc he just has so few of them. all of his relationships have ended Awfully, and it was his own fault for reacting so strongly and passionately to the things around him.

he and zagreus are actually kinda similar: theyre endlessly kind to people they deem worthy of it but also scathing to people they hate, theyre both accomplished warriors, theyre extremely stubborn (zag keeps trying to escape the underworld no matter how many times it takes, and theseus keeps meeting him and trying to stop him every time no matter how many times he loses), etc etc. but unlike theseus, zagreus is so charming and friendly. theseus tries so hard to be charismatic, but everyone flocks to be friends w zagreus after like a single conversation, and theseus only has asterius. so its very easy for this deeply insecure guy — no matter how he tries to cover it up by a massive ego and a constant barrage of insults toward zagreus — to believe that asterius might see zagreus as a way better version of him, and break up w theseus and go date zagreus instead. and zagreus does nothing to discourage this notion lmao. (honestly most hades players wouldnt have done anything to discourage this lmao. ive seen so many memes, such as this post, abt wanting asterius to just divorce theseus and "get himself a better man" and date zagreus already.)

and honestly its like, as zagreus himself says in a different dialogue, theseus took asterius up to elysium yes, but like, theseus also killed asterius in the first place, so they should be even. but its not just abt that for asterius. its abt how during their fight in the labyrinth, asterius got to at least experience once during his life what it meant to meet someone as an equal. its abt how theseus was the first person who saw him as a real person, not a mindless bloodthirsty beast. its abt how theseus took asterius to elysium, yes, giving asterius the chance to spread his wings and figure himself out and truly live, in a way he never would have been able to in erebus. its how theseus gave asterius the chance to experience friendship and love. so asterius, of course, doesnt gay divorce. he says this.

“he doesnt even understand it” and its literally so true. zag doesnt understand any of the things abt theseus and asterius being the only people to really understand each other and stay, despite everything repulsive abt the other, and be friends. i would bet the average player doesnt understand it either (see all the common hades fandom opinion “asterius dump theseus already”). but asterius understands it. he reminds theseus of this shared understanding. no matter what, no matter everything that should have come between them long ago, no matter anything that theseus fears might come between them now, asterius and theseus are a pair. its always theseus and the minotaur, their names together have gone down in legend. their theme song in hades is even called the king and the bull!!! bc theyre a matched set, theyre hero and villain, theyre inseparable, theyre gay.

also since theyre really just the regional bosses of zone 3 of hades (almost all of the contents of this essay are entirely missable), they get a cool new best friend battle move called the “counterstrike”, where asterius charges into theseus’ shield to create a shockwave, after they reconcile. to go along with their previously established bestie attack “bullhorn”, in which asterius picks theseus up and literally throws him at zagreus. theseus is such a dork he literally shouts “counterstrike!” and “bullhorn!” when they perform those moves like this is some kind of anime. gay wrath moments <3
