He also loves watching movies with you, especially thought-provoking ones, because sometimes you can come up with great theories or he has to explain it to you because you werent paying attention and he garners a better grasp on the movie. STEVE has such a reputation of honing in on every detail of everything said. He remembers almost everything about people so he's your sidekick for remembering things, places and sometimes even people. He'll also always remember what you say to him, it doesnt matter what it is, he'll just remember. He finds really sweet ways to engage you in conversations because of that. TWO BIT can't remember or concentrate for shit. To him, you guys are like two peas in a pod. He loves your energy, how you're always ready to talk, and how you don't get mad at him for not focusing because you understand it too. He sees you with so much adoration its not even funny. He thinks you're perfect for him. DARRY tries to help you in the simplest ways. He'll write little notes for you to do things that he'll know you'll forget. He'll gently guide your conversations if he feels that its serious enough, and he never gets mad if you don't concentrate while he's with you. He's endlessly patient with you (he raised Pony AND Soda ffs!!), and he even finds your ramblings cute. DALLAS thinks you're more like a doll than anything. He'll never act like he pays attention to your rants, adding a "uh-huh" or "sure" every now and then to act engaged, but if you asked him what you said he would be able to repeat it back to you word for word! i think billy should leave hawkins and go back to cali and become a go-go boy at some gay club and meet an older gay gentleman whos lonely and looking for companionship and he's got a lot of money and asks billy to go on dates with him, come to his mansion spend the day with him have dinner with him just spend time with him, he'll pay him handsomely, and at first billys like a buck is a buck this guy wants to pay for his time then by all means.

but the more time they spend together billys growing a genuine fondness for him and they actually get a long really well and turns out the guy has no family and he's dying and he just wanted someone to spend his last days with (which turns out to be a few years, much longer than the doctors gave him. they suspect billy being in the picture has something to do with it. gave the guy something to fight for a little longer)

and billys taking care of the guy the sicker he gets and hes doing his best to make his last moments pleasant and when the guy dies he leaves his whole estate to billy and when he and steve reunite a few years later steve has MANY questions about how billy came into so much money

but anyway i just think billy deserves a kind sugar daddy whos just feeling a little lonely doesnt require too much sugar ya know

Steve actually dies dies when the plane crashes and his spirit remains. Hes attached to Peggy and as far as he can see, its more of an attachment of love then unfinished business.

Peggy cant see him or hear him. The closest he gets is in her dreams. Its not perfect and not every night. He's still unsure of how he can communicate to her but theres some peace of reliving memories in her mind.

She talks to him but still cant see him as time goes on.

Peggy does often feel watched. Sees a flash of famiar baby blues but just chalks it up to the various lack of sleep to grief. She feels comforted during storms where thunder rattles her bones, like a famiar weight is around her shoulders once more. And her dreams...reliving the dances they shared in private in her rented apartment, or conversations where they whispered sweet nothings.

During tense moments of anger or fighting, she gets overwhelming senses to say things she doesnt know to exist but fully believes somehow (and it turns out to be true), or last minute tactic changes she isnt aware was an option (just like how Steve saw outside the box).

Its like Steve is there, still changing and saving her life. She never voices this but shares the private thought.

One day (maybe during S1 of AC or pre-AC by a few weeks), she's hurt to the point she almost dies and is thankfully saved by others quick thinking and Steve clinging to her hand, begging her to hang on.

He has a thought, a selfish one that if she does die, she would get to be with him but Peggy doesnt deserve to die. Not like this. She doesn't deserve to perish like this. No one does.

She has so much work to do. To change the world. Hed give his life a thousand times over for her to survive.

When Peggy's eyes flutter open, she takes in the early morning light, the curtains fluttering in the wind. The sweet smell of grass and a cool wind blowing on her, tickling her hair.

"Thank God you're alive," she hears a voice that she never thought she'd get to hear again. She thinks it must be a hallucination but she doesnt care. Steve is beside her, still wearing his old and tattered uniform he's died in, but there, holding her hand and its ice cold and he smells of cold and the sea but hes here.

It turns out, after she was hurt, so close to death, Peggy can now see Steve.

this is the first time i got this! idk what up with tumblr. rude of it tbh bc i really like this ask. my answer might get a little long tho bc my fave hcs for sam revolve around the backstory the mcu doesnt super give us. warning, this got long oops

1. fave sam headcanon? is one ive seen a few times but not very often (because people like to make sam the most stable person in every room, but not acknowledging it takes a lot of work/going through some shit to become that person). sam, before having his shit together for the time we know him in the mcu, spent a lot of time in his early life feeling unmoored. first it was this call to do something bigger with his life that he felt so young and answered first by joining the airforce. then there was a period between joining and being accepted into the falcon program where the airforce wasnt what he hoped it would be/he struggled heavily with being there. ofc after riley died he spent a lot of time not knowing what to do next/dealing with survivor's guilt from that but i think this was compounded by his parents dying around that time too (maybe a year or two later). and one that i think @thankssaragorn made canon in my mind is that The Thing that made him realize he needed to check back into life post-grief was cass being born on the anniversary of riley's death. so i guess thats a tandem cass and sam headcanon but i really really loved it and it's canon in my brain. he was feeling unmoored again by all this death surrounding him and then suddenly i think cass changed so much for him. and made him realize that he had to commit to being alive again. i feel like this was probably more into it than i couldve gotten but also. i couldve gotten deeper into it. it's very early and so im extra wordy

2. fave sambucky headcanon? i personally love when people headcanon them as having interracted between tws and civil war at least a few times (whether it was them providing occassional backup if a fight got too much/them hooking up and then being really weird about it/etc) i think that adds a really weird and funky layer to the two of them. also one that anthony mackie himself brought up during the infinity war press tour which was sam visiting bucky in wakanda. there are like. mountains upon mountains of text for steve visiting bucky in wakanda but comparatively it's a desert out here for sambucky on that one. romantic, platonic, weird situationship they arent talking about where sometimes they like go out and spend time together or stay in and spend time together and sometimes theyre like "no why would i want to see you i just happen to be here right now" and then they spend sam's visit avoiding each other like weirdos. as if sam wasnt literally there to see bucky. idk they a. are obviously weird about each other for much of the mcu and b. obviously know each other well enough that sam is texting bucky semi-regularly (enough to be ignored) at the start of tfatws. i think they were weird for a reason

a couple bonus sam/sambucky/bucky/wilson family hc's that are just my brain thinking ab them because i was filtering through the ones catalogued in my brain to find ones i wanted to share for this:

bucky and his sister rebecca were twins (he was 4 minutes older and a whole foot taller. he held these two things against her for their entire childhoods, as one does). he sometimes now watches sarah and sam interact and feels this awful combination of grief, jealousy, and joy that sam still gets to be with his sister. sam doesnt find out about this until theyve been actually dating for about a year and a half because bucky is a ✨️communication king✨️

sam drinking orange juice straight out of the bottle is his habit that just about everyone around him wishes he would break (he started doing this as a young teen and Never Stopped. sarah wishes every day that he would). however. bucky also does this. dont drink the orange juice at their house theres an 87% chance it has both of their saliva in it. unless of course it was never opened. then it's safe

this is only a headcanon by mcu standards bc this man Doesnt Get Mentioned in the mcu at all. sam and sarah have an older brother named gideon whos occupation changes in my mind depending on the day and the weather and what i feel like on that day but in my mind he's been a lawyer, a doctor, a pastor (in comic canon sam's father was a pastor. sometimes you have to create a way for a character to have complicated feelings ab religion bc the mcu changes their whole story) and many other things. but regardless of occupation i do not think gideon is at all close with the wilson family. where sam left with the intention of coming back, and had delacroix and their family in his mind as a safe place, gideon left delacroix with the intention of never coming back. this left sam warring with the urge to stay and care for his family/leave and do something for himself. by tfatws we see he has managed to do both, but initially, he leaves with the air force. this causes some tension between him and sarah that eventually smoothes out

one i think is just cute sometimes is sam being the one to find alpine and bring her home one day. she then proceeds to lock eyes on bucky and decide right then and there (as some cats do) that any other human is unnecessary. except when sam has toys treats or some other food. he acted affronted by this for a few days because it was funny but deep down he's really happy it worked out this way. he kinda wishes he had a cat that would lock onto him though. this happens when figaro (his cat from the comics) just. appears in their home one day, sitting in their kitchen sink. nobody knows where she came from. but she looked at sam (woke up first, therefore in the kitchen first) and srarred purring and when bucky came downstairs sam was bathing this strange new cat and at that point what can you do but accept that you and your partner have two cats now

wow. that was a lot. and its 7am. but i woke up a little early this morning and saw this and my fingers started typing ahead of my brain so hopefully all of that makes sense!!

as im writing this im watching the most embarrassing speedrun in halo history and remembering all the embarrassing moments ive had im rlly getting into character here

i dont think we talk enough about the things that happened like right after in school when pony was done w that essay so lets surround this post around that

•now i will tell everyone rn, the version pony showed the teacher vs the version written in the book r twi very different things, this context is important!!!

•pony thought his essay was good, but as good as his lit teacher was saying??? gooodddd no, when his teacher pulled him aside to talk about it he was very happy but panicking cause he rlly just wanted to write this and not think about it for a while, that whole thing took a week to finish. his teacher was giving him praise and pony wanted to rio his hair out

•look believe it or not pony was already having issues w his essay. yes in a way its his way of honoring johnny but he feels like it wasnt perfect and that eats up at him. the essay wasnt written in a way pony usually writes his essays, he was writing and writing without double checking like he usually would, personally he thinks he was a too messy and real but thats the only way he could get it out and he hates that, its embarrassing putting himself out there

•annyyways, the teacher liked it so much, he told pony he was gonna show it to this publisher he was good buddies!! buttt he wants pony to read it to em cause hes he only one who could perfect captualize the emotion behing all of it”. pony felt like he was gonna throw up out of excitement and nervousness. HIS essay??? to a reallll publisher??? u gotta b kidding

•pony told darry and soda the knew and they were so happy for him, obviously🙄🙄they told two and steve, eventually that led to the shepars finding out, then ponys school friends, then OTHER PPL he didnt know, that made the stress worse. pony feels like hes gotta represent greasers and his own family well, he has to make sure he properly tells johnnys story, keep the respect dally had when he died, hes gotta do a lot rn😭

•ponys practicing reading it, could probably even repeat a chunk of it without looking at the paper, he even ignored eating for this😒😒😒so pony thought he had this down. day of meeting the publisher starts and pony was fine, he rlly wasnt stressing about it bad till it got closer and closer💔💔he had to meet em in the middle of the day and pony comforted himself saying after this he can just pretend like it didnt happen for some ounce of normalcy

•when pony started reading, u could tell he was a bit disheveled and shakey, but it was fine, just looked like normal teen nerves its cool, its just as he went on into more of his personal lifes issues where pony started tearing up cause my goddd is this fucking embarrassing😭like i said, the way he wrote this essay throws him off and its in front of ppl who he doesnt know will get his struggles or make fun of him for it. his face is red and YEA he’s damn near tearing up a bit (he can hide this part tho thank god, if a tear fell onto his paper its so up)

•soon as he realized how he mustve looked, he got more red, PLUS it was quiet, he could hear everytime he strugglef getting through a sentence and every shuffle he did w his body, he was so sick to his stomach. finished reading, looked up, and they looked like they felt bad for pony, pony hates pity so honestly wouldve preferred them just staring at each other basically asking “did that rlly just happen” but nooo

-HATED dally during marching band season. only during marching band season though

-director(s) loved him because the band actually listened to him

-got really upset when he graduated but the entire band said they were gonna miss him + the rest of the seniors so that makes it a bit better

-Most hated section: Percussion(Dally annoys him during MB season)

Two-bit

-Piccolo player.

-He thinks it sounds like a dog whistle and likes annoying Dally with it(he gets hit on the head with drum sticks)

-good at playing, bad at marching

-he has overall poor coordination from drinking so often

-his coverdowns suck

-god forbid he's backwards marching

Harringrove hanahaki au where Billy develops feelings for Steve but always sees him with Nancy but doesn't know they broke up so he thinks he never has a chance because Steve seems so smitten with Nancy there's no way he'd want Steve

He just keeps those feelings to himself but then the Byer's incident happens where he kicks the shit out of him and he tries to dig down those feelings cause one, he doesn't need someone who would lie to him about his sisters whereabouts and two, he just beat the shit out of the guy so theres no way he'd ever like him now. Even as he tells himself this, everytime he does he starts to violently cough up flowers showing his heart isn't into it

Max can see that he has it but she can't tell who its about or anything and he won't tell her and so she resorts to just trying to get Heather to prod about when she sees her at the pool and Steve cause shes desperate for anyone who she think Billy would be willing to tell.

Steve tries to get close to him to ask but Billy is incredibly hostile which he gets but he can see what Max is talking about cause he looks. Bad. Instead of just trying to push for an answer he just tries to befriend Billy instead and in the meantime he just genuinely enjoys Billy's presence and everything.

This however just seems to exacerbate Billy's condition and before Billy gets too weak and actually dies he forces him to tell him who's it about before Billy finally yells its him. Its Steve and always has been and Steve

And as Steve grew closer to Billy he developed feelings for him and when he tries to tell Billy he feels the same way Billy just rejects him cause obviously this is just Steve trying to save him and he doesnt actually love him

So Steve starts trying to convince Billy that he does, he does actually love him and eventually he manages to get through to him cause Billy's kissing him and no longer coughing up flowers

like. was he ever actually... told where she died??? Because he's not there when it's discovered that she's dead. And nobody actually knows where she is in the upside down. El only says 'gone'. Doesnt describe her surroundings or anything, just "Gone." to say Barb's dead.

I know we all assume he knows because he knows she's dead in season 2, but... Nancy doesnt know where she died, just that she disappeared from the pool. For all she knows the Demogorgon could have dragged her away and killed her elsewhere.

Unless i missed something. Did i miss something?

Anyway i think Steve deserves to be able to use his pool without feeling guilty about Barb cause I dunno if he actually knows she died there. Just that she disappeared from the party and wound up dead and Nancy blames them both for it cause she was last seen at the pool.

my review on the original heartbreak high + the characters after watching like 2 nd a half seasons😈😈😈

the original is so much different to the reboot?😭 tbh the first season was very different to the rest of the show aswell as the reboot, but the only similarities i feel like they both have is that its took place in the same school and some (2💀) of the characters are in the reboot some way or another

overall, i do like the show. more than the reboot??? maybe, maybe not, idk😰😰😰 but its very well written in the sense that all the characters are insufferable, but you still feel pity for them and have a soft spot for them until next thing you know, theyre number 1 on your favourite list for the next 3 episodes until they do something crazy and slide all the way down to the bottom🙁

the storylines are actually really interesting, although i just know the writers are starting to run out of ideas. like theyre averaging around 40 episodes fkr 7 seasons there is NO way its gna be interesting all the way through💀 although i could be surprised, i was only bored in the first episode or two, because it has a bit of a slow beginning. infact i started this tv show ages ago but i never got past episode 1 until now😭

one problem i do have is the normalised large age gaps😨 like a 30 year old will date a 17 year old and nobody bats an eye... a bit scary tbh😞😞😞 they do still have storylines about how bad large age gaps are and how they're creepy but yk... hypocrisy is a real disease. im not too surprised though, as the tv show is based off a movie, called the heartbreak kid, about a romance between a teacher and her student. not so funfact: the teacher was called christina and the student was called nick. they were both played by the same actors as nick poulos and ms milano in the tv show. ☹

my opinion on the characters:

THANKFULLY they decided to keep this relationship out of the tv show. that doesnt stop the teacher x student relationships though😰😰😰 like the whole mr north - rose thing seemed pretty one sided on roses part thankfully, but he was still a nonce. like wdym u got a 17 year old pregnant and thats why you dont want to date rose? shouldnt the age gap or the fact shes your student be the reason??? then you had a 30 year old picking up con from a highschool, where she tells him he would look 'sexy' in a uniform, which just screams red flag, plus southgate and george (2 adults) knew and didnt gaf??😭 omg need i remind he was basically 🍇ed by lucys mother in the catering episode🙁 dont even get me started on sam and rivers. like he started harassing her which is horrible, but then she keot defending rivers and eventually started liking him back??? and when the students find out deloraine fired her they got mad at deloraine??? do they not care shes basically a nonce😥😥what even was the moral of this story because it was so icky... and then they run away together.😐 one storyline that highkey made me sob was lucy and her mums bf. im so happy they portrayed this in a negative light, cuz the scenes made me so uncomfortable. lucys actor is incredible tbh, this storyline was acc so sad☹

jodie: i didnt like her at first for some reason?? i dont know why???? shes actually really sweet, and probably the most open minded character in the whole show. nit at all relevant but she lowkey gives off gothic vibes😭 anyways someone find her a nice supportive boyfriend or i will date her instead. tbh tho, her and nick were cute while they lasted. also she is acc such a good singer and rapper omfg.

i also love the friendship she has w rivers and steve. like that is the perfect definition of platonuc boy and girl friendship where you can be close without catching feelings with eachother. like cuddling the homies. like kissing the homies goodnight. idk man my point is that some trios do work😋

con: probably my fav character !!! he was also my dads favourite too (my dad used to watch this when he was younger) 😭 he has a very likeable personality icl, although i feel like he lowkey has a lack of storylines. idk why, it just feels like they never give him any important storylines which is kinda sad😞 one storyline that he did have was the one with rose and jack and OH MY FUCKING GOD I GOT SO MUCH SECOND HAND EMBARASSMENT. like con, ily but asking rose to marry you was NOT a girlboss move🙁 anyways dare i say he has adhd. people might disagree, its just a headcanon (although he is adhd coded. quinni may not be the only nuerodivergent character in the hbh universe..😈)

steve: i used to hate him because i thought he was irrelevant and treated danielle horrible, but at some point in season 1 the episodes got very steve-centric and he grew on me sooo bad.😨 istg tho, there was a certain point where he could not catch a break and i felt so bad😭 like imagine ur parents divorcing and becoming homeless because none of them wanted you, and then finding out youre adopted??? crazy. imo, id say he had one of the best written storylines in the tv show, but i think thats just because i lowkey related to him.😣 like the depression arc was real (that aint even the part i related to💀) anyways hes also vv funny, and i know he dies and im already grieving him despite not actually getting to that part yet☹

danielle: i mean shes okay???? i liked her at first iykwim but then she became kinda annoyibg nd rude😭 shes fine now, but i still dislike her. however, im kinda curious to see how this drug storyline works out, as the writers seem to do pretty well with all of danis storylines. ive not gotten to this bit yet, im just kinda curious😞 however, i dont know if shes pro choice or pro life and ots scaring me...

rivers: idk, i mean sometimes hes tolerable, and other times hes just a knob. i do feel bad for him though, he went through some shit🙁 he was kinda creepy at times tho, ntm the racism and homophobia...😰 i can sense the character development though, like the difference between him in season 1 vs now is obvious ! i do dislike him quite a lot though still.

the whole thing with sam is so icky though😭

rose: icl, i loved her. she deserved to be in the show longer. i thought she was incredibky delusional though, like first that pedo mr north, and then jack? except the crazy part was that her delusions were right😥😥 i was extremely oblivious to the fact jack liked her back, but yk, never underestimate the power behind teen girl magazines😈 the whole thing with the baby felt realistic (i think?? idk ive never had a teen pregnancy before) amd i thiught it was all executed pretty well !!! plus tess was really cute😭 it would be cool if tess came in the reboot as a teacher or something!!

oooh Im just imagining Steve like outside of Tonys lab remembering the times where the team hasnt separated yet and him remembering the moments where they bicker and argue like a married couple like what Nat says all the time and that brings a pained smile to Steves faces but that doesnt last long cus of yknow him lying to Tony about his Parents death, him and Bucky fighting Tony without choice cus Tony wanted Bucky dead and the worst of all him Smashing his shield into Tony arc reactor which at the same was his literal heart and i know Steve is feeling so many emotions like guilt, regret, and anger. But he always tells himself that he had to smash his shield into Tonys arc reactor cause he will not stop until Bucky was dead so he had to do it right? Steve getting a headache from that so he decided to leave but was stoppped cus he heard a sniffing noise inside Tony labs so he investigated and found Peter AKA Spider-man on the floor hugging one of Tony iron man helmets and when Steve says Peters name he lets out a surprise yelp before looking up to see Steve and when Steve asked if hes alright and when Peter tried to form a lie Steve just gives him a frown and that made Peter stop and just looks down not even trying to lie infront of Steve

and when Steve asked if he can sit next to him Peter says he can Steve asked Peter if he wants to talk about it and Peter replies saying he doesnt want to be a bother and Steve of course assures him he is not being a bother so Peter tells Steve how much he missed Tony and how he cant sleep without having nightmares where Tony died when he used the gauntlet and is now even thinking he will die from the coma and Peter starts crying again and before Peter can react Steve just brings him into a big warm hug and Steve whisper assurance to Peter saying Tony will not die and Peter asks how does he know and Steve says he doesnt but he does know Tony is too stubborn to die and that made Peter let out a wet chuckle minutes passed when they finally stopped hugging and theyre were just in a comfortable silence when Peter breaks it by asking Steve why he was visiting Tonys lab and when Steve lied saying he heard Peters sniffs and wanted to investigated it. Peter replying he can tell Steve is lying and Steve lets out a defeated sigh and tells Peter everything from Bucky, The Accords, Tonys Parents and Siberia and the guilt the comes with it. and the only thing Steve wants is just to apologize to Tony for everything. Peter says hes not the only one who feels guilty and Steve looks at him with confusion as Peter continues that even though Tony cant admit he knows he was wrong on some things but his stubbornness makes it difficult, he also felt guilty on trying to kill Bucky back in siberia and it took some time to realize that both of them were victims of hydra and Tony was so blinded by rage to realize it, he also mentioned the times he caught Tony watching old Captain America films and Peter even knew Tony missed Steve Peter thought for a seconds and said that theyre both idiots for not talking like adults and Steve chuckled at that and agrees with him on that but Peter says even though they cant change the past they can learn from it so they dont make the same mistakes and Steve smiled and so did Peter cus they know things will get better

Mystery man - pt 2

"I... cant... breath..." I say coming to a holt in the middle of the gym after running 20 laps.

Collapsing to the floor Barnes chuckles to himself. "It wasn't that hard" he says continuing to chuckle.

"Yeah thats easy enough for you to say you have the super soldier serum running through your veins" I retorted back.

"..."

Silence hums through the air between the both of us.

"Well we are done for the day, you can go and do whatever u have planned to do" he walks away from me leaving me sitting in the middle of this gigantic room all alone. Its actually quite peaceful.

~2 hours later~

As im getting out of the shower i hear something get slid under my door. I walk over to see an envelope with my name on. The letter was sealed shut with a wax stamp, so fancy. I throw on a jumper and joggers and run through the bathroon knocking on tessa's ajoining door.

"COME IN" I hear them shout. Walking in tessa is holding the same letter as i am. Shrugging our shoulders we both open the letters simultaneously, like we are sharing the same brain cell.

"Omg tony stark has invited us to a party tonight!" I exclaim in excitment.

"Thats so fricken cool" tessa shouts.

"I have nothing to wear" i pace back through to my room with tessa right on my heals. "I didnt think to pack any formal clothing, i never thought in my wildest dreams id be invited to one of these"

"Hey dont panic we have time it says it doesnt start till 8 anyways, its 4 now we can quickly pop out and find something and it doesnt matter if we are late to the party we will arrive fashionably late" says tessa.

"Omg tessa you are a star i dont know what i would have done without u, probably have a melt down then decide not to go and just read for the night instead" i say while chuckling.

"Yeah yeah im amazing i know, now lets get going"

~1 hour later~

We arrive back with our outfits for the night

I picked up a beautiful floor length red dress that flows so effortlessly while i walked. With a heart-shaped neckline my neck looked bare so i also picked up a necklace my mother had given to me before she died, a small golden love heart which completed the outfit in every way.

Tessa on the other hand picked out a black suit to match their goth lifestyle.

We took our time doing our make up and making ourselfs look stunning as ever.

9pm rolled around and we are already an hour late. A rush of anxiety coursed through me as we walked towards the door of the party. Taking deep breaths in to calm down. Music playing so loudly. We open the doors and the music perfectly timed it self with us playing the chorus of 'jealous' by nick jonas.

It was like something just out of a movie, just so dramatic. Walking through the doors I could feel eyes burning on us I turned to look at Tessa beside me to see that they had disappeared and saw them talking to 2 other agents. I continue to walk through the party taking in all the planning that must have went into this in such short time.

I walk over to the bar where I see Natasha serving Bruce. And sit down. "You look stunning y/n" Natasha says automatically.

"Thanks Nat, you look stunning as well" I stay with them for a while, Nat handing me a drink over, a vodka and coke. While chatting I felt as if there was a set of eyes on me from behind.

I turn around to see the metal man himself standing with Steve and Sam in a conversation, he's standing facing me eyes piercing straight into mine, I smile at him and he smiles back. Strange interaction with the metal man. I turn back around feeling my heart racing, why is he having this affect on me? no one has ever made me feel like this, not since the accident that ended my mothers life.

I got lost in a trance of thinking of my past but I was brought out of it after hearing a deep toned voice come and approach me, I turn to see a dark haired man. Muscles bulging through his black dress shirt, arm sleeves rolled up exposing his tanned muscular arms. He looks at me with deep chocolate brown eyes.

"Hey" the dark haired man said with a smile

I smile back and say hey back

He introduced himself as Eddie

He is perfect in everyway, too perfect.

"Your Y/N right ?" he asked

"Yeah, how did you know that?"

"I'm a new recruit and I've been placed into your group for practice missions"

"Wait? Edmundo?"

"Yeah"

"great to meet you, I've heard brilliant things from the S.H.I.E.L.D Academy, I hope you can live up to these expectations. If you can excuse me I need to head to the toilet and find my friend, I hope you have a great rest of your night" I say while smiling.

I excuse myself from the bar and head towards the toilets. I look at myself in the mirror, not looking physically flustered but I could feel it internally. I shove the feelings back down to where they belong and pull myself together.

I plastered a big smile across my face and went back out amongst the crowd. I walk across the room and grab Tessa. "WE ARE GOING TO DANCE" I shout over the music. I drag them to the dance floor and we cause chaos. Jumping and singing to the top of our lungs like no one was watching.

That's when we heard the initial sound, glass smashing and everything fell silent. The windows to the function room that overlooked the whole of New York fell into the room an object landing in the middle of the room. A bomb.

"RUN OR GET DOWN" I scream, everyone ran to cover but when the bomb exploded I wasn't far enough, the force from the explosion sent me flying into the wall. My head colliding with the wall first causing me to black out.

It only turns bad when he keeps being enabled and it isn't checked... Hence, 💛king!Steve AU! And I argue that you don't have to have narcissism to get that corrupt!

And with another flaw of 💛Steve being ignorant or unaware! he doesn't even comprehend the power imbalance between him and a villager! He set no bounderies because he doesn't know what they are!

But he is also very kind... He died for Franny, hes taking care of a village voluntarily, a family person, likes keeping his loved ones safe, and still gives his praises to people who deserves it! He knows how to have fun, be light hearted, and silly!

There is a reason why Franny loves and serves him <:3 just because he is not humble or completely selfless does not necessarily mean hes bad.

Hey, I've been following you for a bit, but haven't really interacted that much or said hi, so first of all, hi!

Okay, you said you want unpopular opinions, so here:

Steve Harrington did absolutely nothing wrong in season 2, he is not to blame for that incredibly messy break up. People like to say that he was being unsupportive, but he went to dinner with the Hollands every week. And I don't feel like wanting to keep your mouth shut about everything, per the shady government people's request, is being unsupportive, it's just self preservation. And asking to go to the Halloween party and just enjoy themselves isn't an out of line thing to want. He wasn't asking for her to forget all about Barb and never bring her up again, he was just asking for one night. There's nothing wrong with that.

Also, I feel like this shouldn't even be considered an opinion, but Nancy cheated on him with Jonathan. They were not properly broken up, she was cheating, I don't care what anyone else wants to claim. I don't dislike Jancy, but if you want me to think that a ship got together in a funny, adorable way, maybe don't start it with infidelity. And maybe don't start it with a grown man sticking his nose is high school kids' sex lives and trying to convince them to bang in his basement. Just a thought.

My roommate has been trying to get me to watch Stranger Things for months now, and we just finished season one/just started season 2, but i was so distracted by the background of the Upside Down that I was actually distracted during the emotional climax of the finale.

Like we've seen that the Upside Down matches the original town to the extent that Steve's house has a pool that's also in the other world, and the Byer house is also there, so at what point do things get built in the main world and then appear over there? Joyce and Hopper walk through the town's main street and there are cars just hanging out on the road, but like who put them there? How long do you have to leave a car on the road before it shows up over there? Obviously cars on that street in the main world are always moving on and off this busy street, so what gives? Plus, I dont think we got a chance to see the Byers living room super clearly in the Upside Down, but how did Will figure out how to use the Christmas lights to talk to Joyce? It didnt look like the Christmas lights all over the house were replicated in the Upside Down, meaning that, chances are, the letters painted on the wall also weren't there, so how did he know what went letter went with what light? The rules of the world are not mathing.

Also, the whole Upside Down is dressed to look overgrown and dilapidated, but that implies that these structures have been here so long that ivy and grime have been able to grow on them, so when did that all become abandoned? And again, who built a car in the Upside Down and drove it into the middle of the street? Also also, how toxic is the air? Will was there for a week and is fine one year later, so it's not like it'll kill you immediately, but then how long can a regular person just hang out in this dimension?

I think my current prevailing theory is that this world is the result of like some kind of nuclear fallout, and all the people died suddenly or had to quickly abandon the structures there for whatever reason. That rather than it being a dark mirror of the main world, it's instead an alternate timeline that was somewhat recently devastated in a way that the main world was not. This could also explain why there are mutated creatures living in this dimension alongside obviously human inventions, and radiation might also explain what the scientists meant by "the air is toxic" but not something that will kill you the second you breath it in.

Speaking of the Demogorgon though, its plausibility as a monster makes me kind of angry. Like, it's attracted to even small amounts of blood that appear in the main world, so why weren't way more people attacked? You're telling me that no one in the town ever got cut at night for that whole week except for the main characters? No one was ever attacked in their homes because a kid scraped their knee, but Jonathan and Nancy cut their hands a little bit, and it comes running like clockwork?

Additionally, the Demogorgon's dimensionhopping abilities are weird on a storytelling level. It was introduced to the main world because Eleven opened up a portal, but also it appears to be able to traverse dimensions at will? I originally thought it was like "oh she weakened the veil between our world and the other one, so it's taking advantage of the temporary cracks to hunt" but like no, it can clearly burst through the barrier between worlds on its own and whenever it wants, so did it always do that to hunt? Has it been terrorizing other dimensions for a long time now? It certainly doesnt sound like it's been seen in Hawkins before the portal opened, so from a storytelling perspective, its kind of weird that there's a big permanent portal, a bunch of small temporary portals, and a monster who can jump through dimensions at will. It kind of makes it feel like the monster isn't super connected to the portal that was created because of Eleven, but it only started appearing after she opened the portal, and we dont really get a sense of those things being tied together by the end of season one. I will say, I kind of like the idea that the mysticism of the Upside Down is actually a totally separate thing from Eleven's powers? Originally I assumed that she got abilities from that dimension somehow, but it sounds like they human experiments were an unrelated atrocity, and the ability to open portals to other dimensions is not necessarily something that comes from those other places.

Now, I dont know anything about the series future, so hopefully these questions are answered in one of the many seasons going forward. It certainly feels like they at least knew they had a second season in them when they wrote the first one, so I'm really hoping this gets built up more clearly going forward. They clearly put a lot of work into the aesthetic of this alternate dimension, and I do think that a multidimensional monster is a cool horror concept, but my roommate put me onto this show because I really loved the speculative biology of Nope, and so far, this series lacks the sense of world building and creature building cohesion that I was really hoping for. My roommate said that I was on the right track with some questions (and less so with others), so hopefully things pay off as we go!
