I finally got around to watching the entire Brittany's Call Me Daddy interview and not just the clips. (yesterday was not my day) .And it was so emotional, moving, and even funny. Although, I will admit I was in tears for most of the podcast. Brittany is simply amazing. Having my own struggles with Mental health, her story has helped me so much over the years, and she continues to do so. The way she has handled everything that has happened to her over the past few years is simply amazing. Everything she says just seems so wise, but she is also able to show that she is a real person who has flaws and can be vulnerable. She really is my hero, and I recommend that everyone listen to or watch it.

This mando helmet is kinda boring color-wise but still cool, and I have all SORTS of junk in my out-of-business Family Video spinny junk holder! Help yourself! (I may allow you to have the ring pop, begrudgingly.)

Wanna play darts?! It’s okay I’m not great at them either and it’s totally normal to miss and have the darts deflect down the stairs. Also they aren’t sharp so we won’t injure ourselves (unless we are not cautious going down the stairs).

Little me MIGHT be creeped out a bit by this unknown eyeball thing, but I will assure her it isn’t scary and show her our cool party trick where we put our phone inside it and take pictures of people just like the actual thing it looks like does :D Oh also this medal is cool and shiny, we earned that exercising with our sister!

I don’t use my little “reading corner” a whole bunch but it has cool pictures! Little me can read Calvin & Hobbes here. There are Tetris blocks on the lamp!

This thing isn’t done yet and I’m not sure where I will hang it when it’s finished, but check out ALL THE NEAT BOTTLES!!! Try to guess what is in some of them!

And finally, I don’t use this but we have a neat little secret cupboard! No wait I promise it’s not scary, there’s just a lot of insulation in there and it’s dusty.

Also we have cats now! :D TWO of them! I wonder if either one would recognize mini me by smell?

Yes, I feel quite satisfied with this. I think child me would be impressed with where we are now! And I can surprise me at the end by dragging my box of our sletchbooks out of the closet, both to show I kept the old ones and show how far we’ve come ^^

Anyway i do think being trans comes with an unhealthy obsession with the past and history (both personal and in general) thats just completely unnecessary. Because in the end anyone can end up with any neurosis (that also highly depend on how we interpret and frame them NOW based on gender identity and cultural context). but there genuinely is no way to prove there's any kind of personal history that leads you here and now that isnt projected back from your current identity so what probably matters more is what specific form the universal oppression of children took in your life than how its retroactively gendered. Then this personal issue gets projected onto others and history in general and in the end. Whats the point
