1. Cancer is his rising in his lovelock chart and that doesn't surprise me. The moon is cancers home and the moon gives off a feminine aspect and I feel like he is gentle with woman more than other men I have met. He understands his role in the system I believe. I do believe that I just felt like his voice to act the fuck out I think lmfao. Cancers can be clingy and he did come off like that initially I feel like he was trying to get that feminine out of me and it was my circumstances I do genuinely believe I would have killed myself on that unit oh my god. Cancers are nurturing individuals and I can see how that can take a play in his rising for lovelock persona too.
His sun in Aries and his mars in Taurus. is sun in Aries here I can see how in reaction to what happened that he would cut me off. My natal Venus being in Aries I feel like it gives me a better understanding and also his Taurus mars that stubbornness combo is fucking dense to get through. He wanted to forget me and Aries is the childish of the zodiac sign and the most fiery and it was in my Venus I did the same thing and he lingered in my brain until my fucking solar return and than change happened. Like I was myself again and I drew back the more angry he got I think he was embodying that energy and I just kept showing up in my Venus in Aries in a childlike sweet way after like he did with me INITIALLY. I find it so fascinating the patterns in both his and is chart.
His Venus is in pisces in the 9th house. 9th house- religions morals self identity expansion optimism and exploration. He wants a partner he can be in tuned with mentally and spiritually I know he felt a void most of his life too and I think it had to be this way? He wants someone that will challenge him but with love and let him see a different viewpoint in this very dim world. He wants someone he can heal with his subconscious (pisces). Pisces is very dreamy, compassionate, empathetic I feel like me coming back to myself this intensely was a reason I think I genuinely met him for a reason. He told me himself he wanted someone he could grow with but he never has a safe environment to grow in and I want to provide that for him because I know he went through hell too and I know he healed through this too I literally saw him healing I was still focused on my anger but the peace I feel now? I can't explain and he lingers in every corner of my brain. I do believe this was a spiritual connection so thoroughly and the more I reflect? The crazier it fucking seems but the more whole i feel.
His 7th house being in Aquarius like my 7th was in Taurus both our sun signs in each other's 7h. Neptune and Uranus being in his 7th house Aquarius/Uranus/neptune my sun I have that in my natal chart and it makes me laugh but in my 2nd house. He is realistic in love perhaps with aquarius there It may take some time and aloofness after heartbreak I can see that and with Neptune it may feel illusionary and confusing and a false sense of security. Don't want to be held down want to be trapped but a normal relationship? Is healing not being held down. Uranus being there too it could always feel like chaos to him in his relationships or feel like it's to cause him only trouble. He may see the negatives in the two in the romantic aspect with me with Aquarius there but as he healed I felt like he saw me too??? Aquarius are realists and the most aloof in the zodiac sign any threat to that independence? Running. Just like I did.
His north node being in HIS first house represents ego and I believe he has ego death in our relationship. Literally proves the dynamic got flipped. His South node is in his 8th house he was reflecting on me and my anxiety and he ran again just like I lashed out again. But I apolgized. I think that's why I'm recognizing things so clearly now? Like everything feels like it's been right infromt of my eyes.
His lovelock is in Gemini too and I find it also ironic in his 11th house the house of friends.
In his 11th house I can see he feels loved in those social situations I think and I feel so bad about telling him when he was getting a better job I think about it now and I regret it like I didn't mean too hurt him I was just angry because he hurt me again. I apologized because I do want what's best for him and I gope he finds people who value him for him because i saw the people over there and they were fucking awful and I don't know how he did it for years and perhaps I was a lil bit angry LMFAO maybe more than a lil bit and he saw it as a way to destruct him but no I just wanted him out because I see the cycle I interacted with those people with so much kindness and the more they chipped and chipped and chipped the angrier I got because he never deserved that for all the shit he did for them over there god it makes me fume but I know not to act like that again and just talk to him I should have just done that each time and that was my lesson missed too. It was a mutual lesson I feel like. He wants someone who will keep him motivated, loved and inspired that's all I want to do to him I just want to love him lmfao he's my mirror it feels like I keep saying it but god??? What will keep him coming back would be probably that empathy and I find it ironic I was called to be here. To be empathetic and I found him. I got lost in my Injustice and I should have focused on him because it's not my responsibility to tear a whole system down but I can start in the people around me by loving them wholely and wanting what's best for them even in tough situations love persists because that's all we are is love at our core. I think I was meant to love him because that feeling has not left since I met him like?? I don't regret anything because I do love him I just wished I talked to him and I wish he would have talked to me like I chose to put myself through this none of it was on him I don't want him to think it at all because a lot of my life has been quiet spiritually and with him? The loudest it's been in my entire life and I don't think it's a coincidence

The whole situation started because of this anon >> here << getting mad i draw most of the gods with darker skin.
This Ask Saying I'm changing the gods to be like pop culture characters is genuinely silly since if that's the fucking case, Jesus Christ is also considered a pop culture character since people like to use him in ways that don't depict him in his original version and even drawn fanart of him for CENTURIES.
you're allowed to not like how i depict Hera, but i'm not here to cater to every person who want's a specific version of her. make your own version of her for your liking and block me.
the fucking fact that me drawing the Greek gods, who can change how they look however they want, turn into animals, and even be concepts of things, like the sun and moon, is somehow more realistic and understandable than them having a darker skin tone is RACIST.
None of these fucking anons have given me any form of advice on where i can look up proper references for Greek culture in any way, shape, or form. I'm always up for learning if I made a mistake, but I do meant his that NOT ONE of these anons brought up how i draw the gods in whatever clothes or hairstyles or make up they're in is incorrect or not, no one brought up how i might be drawing the buildings anywhere incorrectly either, or anything regarding cultural norms over in Greece or anything relevant to respecting their culture.
All these anons are only bringing up how I draw the gods not looking Greek enough, all because I drew them with darker skin. I fucking bet if I had every one of the gods with olive skin or lighter, none of this shit would be happening to me.
I'm not erasing anything from someone, I'm not even taking anything from anyone! I'm no fucking pillar of Greek mythology trivia or knowledge, I can't even make a DENT in changing anything in the stories that have been around for thousands of years. I'm literally just some guy making a story I've never seen before with the Greek gods!

It was supposed to be a simple case. A three-day job. In and out. A few dead veterans, strange markings, probably a demon. But nothing about this town sits right, and the deeper they dig, the darker it gets. Dean’s distracted. Sam can feel it in his gut. Something old is watching. Something hungry. And it’s already started collecting. Secrets don’t stay buried, love doesn’t change fate, and time is running out.

in this chapter... the case is far from getting solved—it keeps on getting messier. one soul sacrificed, one heart getting played, and too many secrets starting to crumble.

The wind howled like a living thing, clawing at the rotted barn walls, making the hanging chains above sway and clink like restless bones. Inside, the only light came from the flickering circle of candles on the dirt floor—twelve flames, evenly spaced, licking shadows up the wood like a warning.
A figure knelt in the center. Cloaked, hood pulled low, hands steady. Before them, carved into the packed earth, was a ring of ancient sigils, each line meticulously drawn with what could only be blood. Real blood. Still wet in places.
At the edge of the circle stood a man. Tall. Weathered. Skin like old leather, sun-scorched and battle-tough. Military, from the look of him—his stance, his stillness. His name had once meant something. Maybe it still did, in places that didn’t reek of mildew and magic.
But here, he was just a body.
The cloaked figure stood slowly, pulling a pendant from beneath their robes. A small, silver moon, dull with age. It pulsed faintly, like it had a heartbeat of its own. The old man’s eyes dropped to it, and instead of flinching, he smiled.
"You understand what you’re offering?" the figure asked. The voice was androgynous. Measured. Calm, like they weren’t about to rip a man’s soul from his skin.
The soldier nodded once. “Fear’s a luxury. My war ended a long time ago.”
A pause. Then, from beneath the hood: "You won’t go where they’ve gone. You know that, right?"
“I read the terms,” he rasps. “One last mission. Then peace.”
“You misunderstand. There’s no peace where you’re going. Only permanence.”
He opens his eyes then—glass-blue and clouded by age, but determined. “It’s more than I’d have gotten rotting in that VA hospital.”
Another pause. There’s a tilt of the head, birdlike. “You’ll feel it. Every moment. You’ll remember the body you left behind.”
“Good,” he says. “Let it hurt. Let it count.”
The figure stepped forward, lifting the pendant. The moon glinted as it caught the candlelight, casting ghost-light over the soldier’s face. The sigils around them flared to life, crimson bright, humming with power older than any name still spoken.
Then came the blade.
Curved. Ceremonial. Ancient.
It slid from the figure’s sleeve with a whisper.
The soldier didn’t flinch. He pulled his shirt open with shaking fingers, baring his chest. His heartbeat pounded in his neck, but he stood tall. Like he was walking into battle one last time.
“Say it.” The figure’s hand pressed against his sternum.
Cold. Then heat.
“I give my soul freely,” he whispers, voice thin but steady. “To the Phantom Queen. To the battle crow. To the one who watches death and drinks from the bones of the fallen.”
And then—
Screaming.
The old man screams.
But not from fear. From the soul being peeled from his bones. From the fire that crawled under his skin and filled his lungs with smoke that wasn’t smoke at all, but memory. His worst ones. All at once. Like time cracked open and poured every horror he’d survived back into him.
The figure’s lips part. A song-like melody escapes.
It’s not music—not really. It’s closer to a dirge, a war cry made of syllables no living mouth should shape. The voice scrapes against the air, dragging invisible claws across the circle. The sigils blaze.
The pendant drank it in.
It pulsed brighter, brighter, casting silver shadows over the blood-soaked sigils. The old man’s eyes rolled back, but he never begged. Never broke.
He just whimpered in broken whispers as the light left his body.
"I've warned you: the worst is yet to come."
His body dropped. Empty.
The pendant dimmed, but not before the soul shimmered once inside the glassy surface—trapped. Bound.
The cloaked figure knelt again, cradling the moon against their chest. For a moment, there was silence.
And then a soft, female voice.
“I’m sorry.”
She stood, kicking sand over the sigils, snuffing out the candles. As the barn plunged into darkness, the only thing left glowing was the pendant.
And deep in the trees, something answered back.
A sound like wings.
Like war.
Dean hums as he slides his keys into the motel room door, a coffee cup in one hand and a faint scratch on his neck that he’s not even pretending to hide. The door sticks on the frame—everything in this place is about three decades overdue for a fire—but he gives it a good kick and steps inside, freshly showered, full of sin, and feeling very pleased with himself.
He even whistles. The audacity.
The room smells like cold takeout and frustration, the curtains barely letting in the late-morning light. Sam is hunched over the table with his laptop open, surrounded by an avalanche of newspaper clippings, open books, and what appears to be a very aggressively highlighted map of Elderspring. His eyes snap up the second Dean walks in.
“You’re alive,” Sam says flatly. “How generous of you to confirm that.”
Dean pauses mid-sip. “Wow, no ‘good morning’? No ‘how was the sex, Dean’? Honestly, I’m hurt.”
“Where the hell were you last night?”
Dean shuts the door with his foot, casually tossing the coffee onto the table. “Oh, you know. Local sightseeing. Meeting the locals. Taking in the cultural ambiance.”
Sam glares. “So Olivia.”
Dean grins. “Olivia.”
“You left for burgers.”
Dean throws up a hand. “And I got… buns.” He gestures to himself, shirt slightly rumpled, belt hanging on by the grace of God. “You’re welcome for not coming back and traumatizing you.”
Sam leans back in the chair, pinching the bridge of his nose like he’s reconsidering his life choices. “I called you. Four times.”
“My phone died.”
“Your phone didn’t die, Dean. It was turned off.”
Dean shrugs, pulling off his jacket like he’s on vacation. “Battery-saving mode. Climate crisis. You’re always telling me to think ahead.”
“You’re unbelievable.”
“And you’re grumpy.” Dean flops onto the nearest bed, stretching like a cat in the sun. “C’mon, Sammy. Lighten up. I got laid. The world's a little less grim today.”
Sam snaps his laptop closed with a little more force than necessary. “In case you forgot, we’re working a case. People are dying, and you’re out screwing the waitress.”
Dean sits up, expression hardening just slightly. “And I’m still here, aren’t I? I didn’t ditch the case. I just… took a break.”
Sam stands, pacing now, fueled by caffeine and disappointment. “You’re reckless, Dean. What if something had happened to you? I didn’t know if you were possessed, kidnapped, or bleeding out in a goddamn dit—”
The low crackle of the police scanner sitting on the bedside table hisses to life.
“…units responding to possible homicide at Carter’s Farm off Route 6. Single victim. Scene is… unusual. Coroner requested immediately. Repeat, coroner requested. Unit 42 en route.”
Dean’s head snaps up. Sam is already moving, shoving clippings aside to grab his jacket.
Dean stands too, all trace of smugness gone. “That was fast.”
Sam nods. “Too fast.”
Dean snatches the Impala keys from the nightstand. “Alright. Guess our break’s over.”
Sam grabs the EMF and a fresh clip of salt rounds. “You think it’s connected to the other murders?”
Dean’s jaw tightens. “We’re about to find out.”
The Impala roars down Route 6, gravel crunching beneath the tires as Dean swerves onto the long dirt path leading to Carter’s Farm. A rickety wooden sign swings lazily in the wind, half-hinged and nearly illegible, but the cluster of flashing lights up ahead is unmistakable.
Two squad cars, an unmarked black SUV, and the coroner’s van. Rural response, full force.
Dean throws the car into park and slaps on his best fed face. “You ready?”
Sam, already pulling out his badge, doesn’t answer. He’s been stewing in silence since the scanner call. Even now, he barely looks at Dean as they step out and approach the yellow tape snaked around the barn like crime scene garland.
“Hold up,” a deputy says, hand on his belt. Young. Nervous. Probably the first actual homicide he’s seen.
Dean flashes the badge. “Agents Michaels and Tanner, FBI. Got word from your sheriff about a possible federal link. We’re here to take a look.”
The deputy nods, eyes wide. “Right. Uh—he’s inside.” Inside is a relative term. The barn is more ruin than structure—partially caved roof, dust motes dancing in shafts of sunlight, the smell of old hay, iron, and something sharp enough to make Dean’s nose twitch. “But I gotta warn you… it’s bad.”
The body’s laid out in the center like a goddamn offering.
Old man. Military ID beside the corpse. Dog tags clenched in one hand, the other sliced clean at the wrist. A circle of scorched earth surrounds the scene, blackened grass and smudged red paint—or blood—forming half-legible Celtic shapes Sam’s already photographing.
“Jesus,” Dean mutters under his breath. “They weren’t kidding.”
Sam’s crouched near the edge of the sigil. “It’s not sulfur. No EMF spike, either.”
“Then what the hell is this?” Dean kneels, inspecting the symbols. “These look older than Bobby’s usual demon crap. You recognize any of it?”
Sam shakes his head, mouth tight. “Some are definitely Celtic. Same style as the ones from the first scene. But this—it’s more complete. Like a ritual circle.”
Dean’s brow furrows. “So, not a demon?”
“No sulfur,” Sam repeats. “No signs of possession. Just this.”
Dean doesn’t say anything for a second. He just stares at the marks, lips pressed in a line, fingers twitching near the grip of his gun. Not like he’s about to draw it—more like muscle memory. Habit. The kind that settles in your bones after a decade of monsters.
Finally, he mutters, “So if it’s not demonic, what the hell burns the ground like that?”
Sam stands, brushing dust from his jeans. “Witchcraft, maybe. But this it’s not like any coven crap I’ve seen. These symbols are older. Like, ancient.”
Dean runs a hand down his face. “Fantastic. Another flavor of freaky we don’t have a playbook for.”
Sam’s already snapping photos. “I’ll send these to Bobby, see if he can make sense of it.”
Dean stands, gaze still fixed on the body. The dog tags clutched in the old man’s hand catch a glint of light—something weirdly solemn about it. “You think he was part of the ritual? Or just a victim?”
“He wasn’t just killed,” Sam says, rising. “He was used.”
The air feels colder suddenly. Thicker.
Dean turns toward the entrance of the barn, instinct prickling at the back of his neck. “Well, if this is a spell or ritual or whatever, someone lit it up last night. And they’re probably gonna do it again.”
“Agreed,” Sam says, already pulling out his phone. “We need to know more about him—his service record, next of kin, why the hell he was living way out here. Maybe something ties him to the last victim.”
Dean’s quiet a second, watching the circle of scorched dirt like it might blink. “Whoever’s doing this… they’re not sloppy. That’s the part that gets me. This?” He gestures to the scene. “It’s surgical. Clean. They knew what they were doing.”
Sam gives a short nod. “And that makes them ten times harder to catch.”
Just then, footsteps echo behind them—boots crunching gravel.
A young deputy peeks in, trying not to look directly at the body. “Uh—Sheriff says to wrap it up. Coroner’s pulling in now.”
Dean tips an imaginary hat. “We’re all yours. Just let us take our last look.”
The deputy scurries out like the barn walls might bite him.
Dean turns back to Sam. “You know what this means, right?”
“We’ll still be here on Friday.”
It’s past midnight when Dean pulls up outside the diner.
The Impala idles with a soft purr, headlights cutting through the quiet. The place is closed, obviously—chairs flipped on tables, blinds drawn, the “See You Tomorrow” sign hanging crooked in the window. But the parking lot still smells faintly like burnt fryer oil and sweet tea spilled in heat.
Dean kills the engine and exhales hard through his nose. He doesn’t even know why he came.
Scratch that—he knows exactly why.
His brain’s still chewing on the Carter’s Farm scene like it’s gristle. The kind of death that sits wrong in your gut no matter how many bodies you’ve seen. He can still see the circle. Smell the iron and ash.
And Olivia’s face keeps popping up in his head like a catchy song he can’t shake. Her laugh. Her damn mouth. The way her fingers curled around his belt loops like she was making a promise.
Hell, maybe he is just tired. Or maybe he needs something—someone—normal to hold onto for five freaking minutes.
He’s debating knocking on the side door when it creaks open.
“Seriously?” Olivia’s voice drifts out like smoke, followed by her leaning halfway into the doorway, one brow arched. “You show up after hours like you’re expecting a private meal. Or a private dance.”
Dean grins, hands sliding into his jacket pockets. “Depends. What’s on the menu?”
“Old grease, flat soda, and broken dreams,” she deadpans. “Kitchen special.”
“Damn,” he murmurs, “you trying to seduce me with that poetry?”
She steps fully into the glow of the porch light, arms crossed, a towel slung over one shoulder. Her hair’s pulled back, neck damp like she just rinsed off a long shift—or maybe something else. There’s a smear on her forearm. Faint. Red. She’s already rubbing at it with the edge of the towel like it’s nothing.
He notices. She sees him notice. Neither of them says a thing.
“I thought you’d disappear on me after last night,” she says instead, voice softer now. “That’s usually the way it goes.”
Dean leans against the doorframe, just close enough to smell her—citrus and soap and something wild underneath. “I told you I’m not usual.”
“Right,” she smirks. “You’re the charming kind of trouble. That’s way more dangerous.”
He chuckles, and it’s real—low and amused and surprisingly warm in his chest. “You always this quick with the sass? Or is it just for me?”
“I’ve been told I’m an acquired taste,” she says, lips twitching.
“Well, lucky me.” He pauses. “I like complicated flavors.”
Olivia tilts her head, searching his face. There’s that twinkle again—light dancing over something deeper. Not sadness exactly, but weight. Memory. Secrets tucked in the hollow of her throat.
“You look tired,” she says finally. “Case got you twisted?”
Dean shrugs, eyes flicking away. “Yeah. It’s not the usual kind of freak. Something about it feels… surgical. Smart. Like we’re being led somewhere and we don’t even know it.”
Her jaw tenses—barely. “Sounds messy.”
“It is,” he murmurs. “People are dying. And whoever’s doing it isn’t making mistakes.”
She nods slowly, gaze drifting past him toward the empty street. “Sometimes the smartest monsters are the ones who think they’re doing the right thing.”
Dean blinks at her, caught off guard. “That’s… weirdly philosophical for a waitress.”
“Maybe I minored in evil,” she says with a crooked smile. “Keeps the job interesting.”
Dean laughs again, full and from the gut, and damn—it startles him. That kind of laugh doesn’t come easy these days. Not with John dead. Not with Sam staring holes into maps. Not with blood on his boots and unsolved murders keeping him up at night.
But her? She makes it feel okay for a second.
He looks at her longer than he should. Then says, “You wanna go for a drive?”
She arches a brow. “Now?”
“I’ve got two coffee cups and a full tank,” he says. “You can pick the station. Hell, you can pick the road.”
Olivia bites her lip, then glances behind her toward the dark diner, the mop bucket waiting, the towel in her hand. Something flickers in her eyes. A choice. Or maybe the illusion of one.
Then she tosses the towel onto the counter and steps outside.
Dean opens the passenger door.
And somewhere, not far from the diner—maybe even the back alley where the trash bins reek and the shadows don’t sit quite right—there’s a metal sink still running. Blood swirling down the drain in thin, tired ribbons. A bone-handled knife sits on the counter beside it, wiped twice, not clean.
Olivia doesn’t look back.
She climbs into the car.
And Dean drives them into the dark.

To the public, little is known of the families behind some of the world’s most renowned bioterrorists, but the question remains: did they play a role in causing their children to walk down the path that they did? Or are these individuals simply ambitious criminals with delusions of grandeur?
For Diana Wesker (née Afanasyeva), her introduction into the bioweapons black market trade was upon discovering her employers were using her research into limb regeneration with salamanders to further their experiments in creating enhanced soldiers, instead of developing human therapies with which she was recruited for. Although the prospect of using biological weapons in the military did not appeal to her, the concept remained fascinating for her own selfish endeavours. Born on the 27th of October, 1963 in Sydney, Australia to Russian immigrant parents, Diana had harsh expectations placed upon her at a young age, ones that no matter how hard she tried she could never live up to. Her mother, Tatyana, was an unfeeling woman, absent for long stretches of time with little regard to how it affected her daughters, much more concerned with her craft as an accomplished opera singer. Viktor was no better. A strict man whose role as father and ballet master blurred, he pushed his girls to one day follow in his footsteps. Whilst Sofia enjoyed ballet, and went on to become a professional ballet dancer, Diana’s heart was set on going into the field of biology. She wished to make a name for herself, separate from her family – to which she succeeded.
Diana was married to former U.S. Marine, Dave Monroe, for only a year until he was declared dead in 1992 after succumbing to injuries sustained in a horrific car accident. Foul play was ruled out while Diana played the role of the grief-stricken widow, but in reality, she had snapped after years of mistreatment at her husband’s hands, and opted for something she could pass off as an accident to be free of him. For years she believed he was dead – and he was, legally – but that proved to not be the case when he found his way back into her life again in 1999. Unbeknownst to her, she had been lied to by the police and coroner, who were paid off by her employers when they took Dave’s body for themselves and used him as one of their first test subjects in developing supersoldiers. Before he could ever hurt her again, Diana’s second husband, Albert Wesker, tracked the man down, captured him and tortured him, before allowing Diana to get her violent and bloody revenge.
The origins of Albert Wesker’s involvement in bioterrorism, alongside his twin sister, Alex, are much different than that of Diana’s. The two hail from London, Canada, but unfortunately, they hold no memories of their lives there, nor what happened to their biological parents when they were eight years old. Agents of Oswell E. Spencer, an aristocratic billionaire and eugenicist, took the twins from their home and executed their parents as per Spencer’s orders. Albert and Alex were then placed in a home funded by the Spencer Foundation where they were given new names and a privileged upbringing. They had access to the best education possible, free to pursue whichever field they decided, but it was by no accident they both went into virology and bioengineering; at home, their adoptive parents – agents whom they believed to be their real parents – instilled them with the beliefs of Oswell E. Spencer, harbouring disdain for war and pestilence, and believing humans to be an evolutionary dead-end in need of a rebirth. They were only two of the hundreds of children “adopted” as part of what is known as Project W, a plan intended to develop an advanced race of human beings. The most promising candidates were headhunted by Umbrella Pharmaceuticals, the twins amongst them, where they went on to create bioweapons for the company founded by none other than the man who had handpicked them for his plan. The final stage of this was to infect the thirteen Spencer saw fit, however, only two survived; Albert received the intended effects, now possessing superhuman abilities, however, Alex was only offered more time to live due to her terminal degenerative illness.
In the summer of 1995, Diana was working undercover within Umbrella to gather development data on their projects for her company. Here, she had a chance encounter with Albert, an intelligence officer at the time, which permanently altered the course of her life. The two were never seen far from one another’s side, marrying in 1998, and they went on to become notorious in the bioweapons industry. The development of the Uroboros virus was where things took a turn for the worst. Although Diana’s infection was successful and she bore abilities that rivalled her husband’s, the plan itself did not succeed as they had hoped, and almost cost Albert his life at the hands of his former subordinates.
Now, they work within the shadows, with Diana declared missing and Albert believed to be dead. Their legacy, however, lives on with the mark they left on the world. As visionaries in their field, they influenced bioterror attacks carried out by countless individuals and organisations. In turn, they also inspired others to fight against such atrocities. One such person happens to be Albert’s son from a former relationship, Jake Müller, whose existence he was unaware of.

I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before, but Venera's name actually means venus. which, while not seeming overtly necessary information at first glance, actually is something I was losing my mind over yesterday because. the three brightest objects in the sky, in order, are the sun, the moon, and venus.

a quick psa to anyone recently getting into greek mythology and is a victim of tumblr and/or tiktok misconceptions:
-there is no shame in being introduced to mytholgy from something like percy jackson, epic the musical or anything like that, but keep in mind that actual myths are going to be VERY different from modern retellings
-the myth of medusa you probably know (her being a victim of poseidon and being cursed by athena) isn't 100% accurate to GREEK mythology (look up ovid)
-there is no version of persephone's abduction in which persephone willingly stays with hades, that's a tumblr invention (look up homeric hymn to demeter)
-as much as i would like it, no, cerberus' name does not mean "spot" (probably a misunderstanding from this wikipedia article)
-zeus isn't the only god who does terrible things to women, your fav male god probably has done the same
-on that note, your fav greek hero has probably done some heinous shit as well
-gods are more complicated than simply being "god of [insert thing]", many titles overlap between gods and some may even change depending on where they were worshipped
-also, apollo and artemis being the gods of the sun and the moon isn't 100% accurate, their main aspects as deities originally were music and the hunt
-titans and gods aren't two wholly different concepts, titan is just the word used to decribe the generation of gods before the olympians
-hector isn't the villain some people make him out to be
-hephaestus WAS married to aphrodite. they divorced. yes, divorce was a thing in ancient greece. hephaestus' wife is aglaia
-ancient greek society didn't have the same concepts of sexuality that we have now, it's incorrect to describe virgin goddesses like artemis and athena as lesbians, BUT it's also not wholly accurate to describe them as aromantic/asexual, it's more complex than that
-you can never fully understand certain myths if you don't understand the societal context in which they were told
-myths have lots and lots of retellings, there isn't one singular "canon", but we can try to distinguish between older and newer versions and bewteen greek and roman versions
-most of what you know about sparta is probably incorrect
-reading/waching retellings is not a substitute to reading the original myths, read the iliad! read the odyssey! i know they may seem intimidating, but they're much more entertaining than you may think
greek mythology is so complex and interesting, don't go into it with preconcieved notions! try to be open to learn!

Not main tagging this rn but it like lowkey kind of fucks me up how many of Jill's scenes with Clive you could give to another character and it would either fit that character better, or it just kind of dawns on you how little it would change the overall story if you removed the connection to Clive and Rosaria from her character and just left her time in the Iron Kingdom forced to fight in the war for the sake of innocent people (and her consequent struggle over killing)
#i just be ramblin#Like on one hand there are just so many scenes I think that were originally supposed to be between Clive and another character that they#reapproprated for Jill because they needed to give them interactions and moments as a main relationship#One notable one for me is in Rosaria‚ when Clive is looking at the moon talking about Joshua and about how it fucks him up that he might#have killed him. Jill tries to relate to him by talking about how she was forced to kill for her life and the life of others‚ which has#caused her to struggle over her own morality (god if only they actually developed that bit of her character well past that🥲)#The heart to heart there ultimately falls flat because Clive has no qualms about killing and hasn't for a while. His issue is with having#killed someone so dear to him. I almost feel that Cid was likely Clive's original companion for the return to Rosaria and Phoenix Gate#mission. And this is because A. Cid was the one who pushed him to go. B. Cid during the first timeskip era is set up to be the first person#he comes to care about the most since Joshua's death‚ especially because of how similarly he treats Cid and Joshua after their respective#deaths. And C. Because Cid was the lord commander for Waloed. He knows what it's like to be used to killing and war. He left people behind#in Waloed he cared very much about because he wanted to change the world for the better. Maybe he hasn't straight up killed the most#important person to him‚ but he can relate to Clive and his issues during that scene much better than Jill could#Another notable scene for me is the flower picking quest before Origin. Cause they reveal this backstory bit out or nowhere that while out#with Elwin Clive just couldn't bear to see Jill making a sad face and so dragged her along to see the flowers she wanted to see#A lot of that past explanation and the stuff Jill says to gas up Clive is just...incorrect. Like so incorrect that you can point out counter#evidence. There is nothing to suggest that younger Clive was so in tune with Jill's emotions and feelings. He was putting his everything#into supporting Joshua back then. His heart to heart scene with Jill in the prologue felt like Jill trying to reach out and get him to#understand that she cared about him and wanted him to be safe (he was facing away from her most of the scene)‚ but the heart to heart scene#with Joshua in that same era has Clive more present in the moment and genuinely trying to address Joshua's feelings and assuage his fears#And then there's Jill talking about how Clive is the Sun and it's always been true that he'll always come back to her. Which feels like...#cope? Because he barely thinks about Jill for 13 years and only doesn't kill her after she happens to be the Bastard's target because he#recognizes her suddenly as someone he knew. And then Barnabus captures her. He initially is told that she's dead and his reaction is to sigh#like “Oh that's unfortunate''. And he only actually tries to go after her after Joshua says she's alive.#I honestly feel like that flower picking backstory bit with how some of her and Clive's lines are‚ Joshua's fondness talking about a moment#that wasn't his memory with Clive‚ and Joshua's prevalence during that quest potentially says that originally a lot of it was a scene about#Joshua and Clive. Anywho I digress. I also just feel bad for Jill. Her and her backstory and issues deserved better#than just to put everything aside to revolve around Clive‚ who has to be urged by others to be a decent boyfriend to her
