Ever remember that Eddie, whether unknowingly or by making a thoroughly educated guess, was able to put Buck at ease after the ambulance just by telling Buck that he could have Eddie’s back any day? Do you remember that this beautiful man, this brand new firefighter, saw Buck desperate for some trust, a partnership, a family, and without hesitation, gave him just that?

And it wasn’t that Eddie hadn’t been showing Buck how they could be as partners for the entire episode, because he was. Buck needed to hear those words directly. And it doesn’t matter that Eddie didn’t know Buck well enough yet to understand what reassurance Buck needed to shut the posturing down. Eddie still said exactly what Buck needed to hear, and that is why they are so special from the very start. They were what each other was missing, and they didn’t even need the usual getting-to-know you period with work partners or even eventual best friends. Both of them immediately dove in, making insane moves like introducing Eddie to Carla, letting Buck meet Christopher, rescuing people inside sideways buildings together, and having zero personal space between them. They were already so partner-coded for the other that it was impossible for them to end up anywhere but here.

Is it not insane that they bonded and clicked so quickly? Like, let season two Buddie have their shotgun Elvis wedding in Vegas because they were moving fast.

Jazz is finally free from the tank and back in the open ocean, the ocean came to HIM, he is free now, and he’s having a great time and he’s like “whoa!! I’ve missed these waters so much, they’re so different from the tank waters, it’s so much better! I’ve missed this, I feel so alive, it’s like my blood is singing!” And Prowl is like, “wait no, this is still Wrong, something is wrong, the waters are still wrong.”

Hi, sorry if this is annoying but I've had this idea for a while and I can't get it outta my head and I'm not a good writer. So here it is

Danny inherits an old amusement park from his deceased grandfather, it would've gone to Jack or Jazz but knowing Jack it would've been demolished in a week from him kool-aid manning himself through attraction walls and he didn't think Jazz would want a whole amusement park so he gave it to Danny, especially since he hated Maddie for encouraging the whole ghost nonsense with Jack.

So that's how a nineteen year old Danny found himself in an abandoned amusement park on the outskirts of Gotham and standing over the Joker who he accidentally knocked out with a 2 by 4 while assessing what he needed to fix. In Danny's defense the clown snuck up on him and he had headphones in. Now if only the group of furies would understand this was an accident

This isn’t annoying at all! “Kool-Aid maning” love that.

Danny would have to show them the paperwork he has that show that he now owns the place, but he doesn’t have it on him so he’s freaking out, thinking that he’s going to jail or something for trespassing on his own property. The Bat Fam are smart enough to know that he’s probably not lying about owning the park now, but they are going to need to do a background check and get the paperwork, because he is kinda sus. They are thankful that they don’t have to deal with Joker for a few more nights as he’s sent off to Arkham(idk how to spell) again. Some members jokingly want him to join, and the idea horrifies Danny so much he almost passes out from that alone.

And side note, it was Jack’s side of the family that seemed to be obsessed with the supernatural, see the blood blossom episode. But I do like the idea of different Fenton members believing in different supernatural creatures and not believing in others, so it still works for my head canons ha ha👍

i get why it’s commonplace to think katsuki needs a six year slow burn lead up to a stubborn confession but remembering that his mother hit on his father aggressively until he went out with her and that he clearly gets his personality from her is perfect because i think the idea of katsuki shoving his hands in his pockets and grumbling “go out with me” until you say yes is so funny

Jiang Cheng didn’t keep Chenqing out of sentiment. He tells himself that, anyway.

He keeps it hidden. Tucked away. Never used. He doesn’t even look at it unless he has to. But he doesn’t get rid of it either. And that’s what makes him sick.

Because it would be easy to destroy. Burn it. Bury it. Pretend it never existed. Like everyone else did. Like Wei Wuxian did to her.

But Jiang Cheng can’t. And he doesn’t know what’s worse — the fact that he still has it, or the fact that he still remembers how it sounds.

Sometimes, when he’s tired or drunk or too close to breaking, he hears it in his head — the low wail of Chenqing — and he feels like a fool. Like a dog still sitting at the door of a house that doesn’t exist anymore.

He would rather be called cruel. He would rather be hated. But not this. Not this pathetic, rotten tenderness.

So he hides it. Like a wound. Like a weakness. Like a secret that would ruin him if anyone ever knew.

One of my favorite aspects of the Buddie relationship is that they are both so okay with clinginess. Obviously Buck tends to be the one who is the clingier of the two, but neither of them have any reservations about this behavior. They see no problems with always wanting to be around each other. They are equally codependent.

Eddie is beaming fondly about Buck’s obsession with taking Christopher to the zoo all the time. Buck willingly forces Eddie, Chris, Taylor, and himself into an awkward dinner because he wants his girlfriend and best friend to get along, and Eddie allows it even though he kinda hates Taylor. Eddie doesn’t even flinch when his best friend shows up on his doorstep out of the blue after he just got out of the hospital from a lightning strike injury that killed him. Buck has zero issue with Eddie dropping Chris off with zero warning to get him out of bed and back to living life again.

Eddie sees Buck’s attachment issues as something to be treasured or protected, and clearly encourages Buck to be around constantly if the “this is Eddie’s house, I’m not really a guest” line is any indicator. And as for Buck, if Eddie ever found a new friend to hang with, he would immediately start crashing out, as evidenced by the ill-advised maiming he does of Eddie’s ankle because he’s so damn jealous of Tommy. They couldn’t possibly be more “what’s mine is yours, and what’s yours is mine” about each other, it’s just that ridiculous.
