i had a funny silly lil dream where kevin and candace swapped bodies bc of a random villain and then kevin went on a date with jeremy while candace tried to find a way to switch back lol
plus jeremy bummed and sad after the date and venting to stacy ( vanessa too???) about their awful date speaking about how candace didn't ramble, didn't try to run to bust her brothers, didn't complain about ANYTHING the whole date and didn't even kiss him at the end so he's just left alone wondering what the heck he did wrong, stacy going to investigate because candace was way off and vanessa completely lost bc that seemed like a normal, fine date
oh, and kevin calling candace later to say "nailed it"

More proof that the TVA comic series is canon to the MCU *spoilers*
Issue #4 of the TVA comic series released today, and I have read it. Towards the end of the issue, Ghost-Spider sneaks down into a level of the TVA called the "Department of Deferment" which is filled with refrigerated pods. Within one of those pods is Wanda Maximoff to which Ghost-Spider literally says that Wanda is supposed to be dead having been killed by being crushed by a mountain in a fight with Dr. Strange. Sound familiar to you? Yeah, that's how she supposedly died in Multiverse of Madness. Which means, the Wanda captured by the TVA is our Wanda from the MCU. Which is further proof that the TVA comic series is canon to the MCU. Although, Issue #4 did debunk one of my other theories. I thought that the person walking around the TVA in a green cape was Dr. Doom, but it turned out to be Nightmare who also wears green. Which makes sense since someone has been causing chaos in the multiverse by causing people to see their worst fears across branched timelines. This doesn't debunk my theory though that Dr. Doom could still get Wanda to work for him through the TVA. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to see what happens in the last issue of the series which comes out April 30.

When I first watched this as a kid; I thought it was a cool, feature length animated movie.
Watching it now as an adult; it's probably one of the best Batman movies created.

Miles-42: Look, Gwen, you have to treat your gadgets like you treat a woman!
Gwen-42: 🤨 Go on...
Miles-42: ...No. I've sensed I've made a mistake of some kind.

Sometimes I like to wonder what went on between Kevin and Margaret after they spontaneously got married at the airport. Like, what happened that night when they all got back to the palace? Did they ever talk about what happened, or did they sleep in one room right after? Did they ever think about holding the usual traditional wedding ceremony, or anything along those lines? There’s just sooooo much to cover XD.

The thing about Kevin and Thea for me is that the relationship is probably the first thing in Kevin's life that he got to actively chose. Like Thea didn't have any connections to the Moriyama's besides being a raven. She didn't have any stake in the game. There were no expectations that he had to be anything he was not. Thea was just a slightly older teammate who was just as passionate about exy as he was, and who bothered to look at him long enough to see past the son-of-exy of it all.
There's something so inherently innocent about Kevin falling for his senior and seeking out a relationship with someone that didn't expect anything from him in return.
That's all. I just think maybe he deserves it.

John Whitehouse at MMFA:
On July 9, Oklahoma’s superintendent of public instruction Ryan Walters announced that a number of people — many of them key figures in right-wing media — would be rewriting the social studies curriculum in the state.
The list includes right-wing hosts with ties to Walters like Steve Deace, Dennis Prager, and Stacy Washington. Also included is Kevin Roberts, the head of The Heritage Foundation, which has organized Project 2025.
Walters announced an “executive review committee” to revise Oklahoma’s social studies curriculum. Members include Dennis Prager, Robert Pondiscio, David Barton, Kevin Roberts, Everett Piper, John Dwyer, David Goodwin, Mark Bauerlein, Steve Deace, and Stacy Washington. [Oklahoma State Department of Education, 7/9/24]
After implementing a mandate that the state’s public schools teach the Bible, Walters claimed that right-wing commentator and pastor Jackson Lahmeyer, who has promised to “embrace Christian nationalism” and previously ran for U.S. Senate in Oklahoma, encouraged him to implement such a policy last year. [Media Matters, 7/8/24]
Walters has approved PragerU Kids — which is widely criticized for pushing right-wing propaganda, such as including distorted histories about slavery in its history lessons — as curriculum for Oklahoma public schools. In one supposedly educational video, for instance, a cartoon version of Fredrick Douglass describes slavery as a “compromise to achieve something great.” [MSNBC, 9/7/23; Media Matters, 9/8/23; NBC, 8/10/23]
Dennis Prager is an anti-LGBTQ pundit who has hosted The Dennis Prager Show since 1999. In 2009, he founded the conservative nonprofit organization PragerU, which publishes short videos on political and international issues.
David Barton is a pseudo-historian and Christian nationalist well-known for spreading the idea that the country was supposed to be a Christian nation. Barton is the founder of WallBuilders.
Kevin Roberts is the president of the Heritage Foundation, the right-wing think tank leading Project 2025.
Steve Deace is a host for BlazeTV who has made many anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ remarks.
Stacy Washington is a commentator, radio host, and Air Force veteran who has appeared in many right-wing outlets. She was formerly a host of a program aired on American Family Radio, the radio arm of extreme anti-LGBTQ group American Family Association, before the network culled much of its programming and its dedicated Urban Family Communications network.
Right-wing indoctrination artist Oklahoma Superintendent of Public Schools Ryan Walters announced that he is having a team rewrite the state’s social studies curriculum, with many of its names right-wing media figures such as Everett Piper, serial history revisionist David Barton, indoctrination mill head Dennis Prager, and pundit Steve Deace.

I don't care about the haters. Marvel should do this
Unless you have been living under a rock, I'm sure you've heard about the TVA (limited) comic series. It is about the MCU characters Mobius, Ouroboros, B-15, and Miss Minutes working with Marvel comic characters such as Ghost-Spider, Gambit, and Captain Carter to solve a mystery within the TVA.
It made quite a stir among MCU fans since it has teased a Wanda Maximoff variant playing a major role at the end of the series. Many fans thought this Wanda variant could be our MCU Wanda captured by the TVA. While this theory has been denied by an artist of the comic, I still think it's possible that it could be our MCU Wanda. I mean, come on, Marvel has lied to us plenty of times in order to avoid spoilers. Also, I think it would be an amazing decision to bring MCU Wanda back by doing it through this comic series. I've been keeping up with the series, and, in it, whoever is causing havoc in the TVA is wearing a green cape, and that's all we know about the culprit. Many of the characters in the story think that it's a Loki variant, but I think that it's Doctor Doom, and, through the TVA, this is how he will join forces with Wanda and manipulate her. While this theory may seem a little far-fetched, I think it would be an amazing thing to happen. I mean, come on, we are in the MULTIVERSE SAGA of the MCU, it would be such a missed opportunity not to include a little comic book tie ins here and there to the movies and shows since the comic books are part of the multiverse as well. It would also demonstrate the scope of Dr. Doom's presence and power. He would not just be in the movies; he would be EVERYWHERE.
The only reason why I think Marvel would be apprehensive about doing this is because they don't want to alienate their casual fans who don't take the time to watch all the shows or read comics books at all. I could care less though. Again, we are in the MULTIVERSE SAGA. This is the time for Marvel to be brave and give us multiversal plots like we have never seen. Diehard fans, like me, will appreciate this immensely. This is the one saga where I feel like they could do something like this because of how enriching it would be to the plot, as, again, the multiverse is taking center stage in this saga.
Anyway, I can't wait to see what happens next in Issue #4 of the TVA comic series which is releasing March 19th.
