Healer Bloom (formerly Bloomdapple) was born to a single father, Cosmosdaisy, alongside 4 siblings. He is the youngest of the 5

Cosmosdaisy is now dead, having died 33 moons ago to an unknown predator. His siblings, from oldest to youngest, are:

Mousekit; sister who died from yellowcough 54 moons ago

Sir Juniperpatch; brother who was fed to the Dragon 18 moons ago

Blueshriek; sister who was killed by the Dragon when it first showed up 33 moons ago

Newtfuzz; his brother and only living sibling, currently living a happy life with his kits, and working as a Camp Keeper/Builder

Guard Rook (formerly Rookpath) also has 4 siblings, though only 2 are littermates. Family from oldest to youngest:

Cloveflood; father, still alive at 167 moons

Meadowspot; mother who died of greencough 16 moons ago

Grousedapple; older sister, was killed by a gang of rogues 31 moons ago

Piperip; younger brother, still alive and working as a Scout

Sir Cloudybranch; younger sibling, from another litter. still alive at 39 moons

Tapirdapple; younger brother, from the same litter as Cloudybranch. still alive and working as a Camp Keeper/Builder

My favorite Kingdom Snail cat, though, is this lovely lady named Meganspots ✨ she joined the Kingdom on moon 8, at 41 moons old, and was exiled on moon 77 after confessing to the murder of a Knight, Sir Dawnspeck (the murder in question was committed 50 moons before her confession)

she is still alive. at 338 moons old. that is twenty fucking eight YEARS and 2 months, and she is older than the goddamn kingdoms themselves. if she makes it to 29 im taking her out of exile. maybe i'll even put her in kingdom spire so you can watch her die. who knows

the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself

i don't know man. but sometimes i think about percy breaking the news to nico that his sister's dead. and nico plummetting into depression, screaming at the boy he once thought of as a hero to die. and percy watching this ten-year-old disappear into the shadows mid sobbing. and percy's shaking and traumatized and exhausted. but he forces that pain down his throat and accepts the role as the prophecy kid so nico has a chance to create a future he wants. while percy's is set in stone. and i don't know man.

Not because it's my fic and it's genuinely so insane you won't believe it, but honestly, it's the best idea I've ever come up with, even better than the widely beloved my heart is readily yours. For me, it's the perfect continuation of their story, and the most unhinged plot twist you could find in a fic.

2. Half of my soul by @clockwrkpendrxgon. [G] [2K] [MCD] [golden age growing old together]

This fic is half of my soul, or what the poets say. It's so much better as an ending than what they've given us. At least this is filled with such golden love it makes you ache. At least this makes sense.

3. from hearth and ashes, we’re reborn by @remuscariad. [G] [5K] [canon era magic reveal].

This fic is so good you'll be on your knees from it. The prose, the characterization, the tropes used... it will linger in your mind and fester there from how beautiful it all is. And the art in it by @onepeppercorn... stunning.

4. Our broken pieces by @aramblingjay. [T] [10K] [canon era established relationship]

You can pry this fic from my cold dead hands. I will never stop recommending it until it gets the fame it deserves. One of the most beautiful fics ever written about them, and genuinely encompasses their characters so perfectly.

5. gentle as an early spring breeze by @prattery. [G] [2.5K] [canon divergence golden age]

They are alive and in love and we're all living in this fic because it's what they righteously deserved. The way their life was written here and the love between them... I swear this author could write anything and I'd kudos it before even reading it.

How do you think Sans reacts to Papyrus’s death during the runs?

If you mean in the base game, uh... we kinda already know? If Papyrus is killed, Sans doesn't show up again until the final corridor, where he'll ask "if you have some sort of special power, isn't it your responsibility to do the right thing?"

If you answer yes (that you do have that responsibility), then he responds, without eyelights or sound font, "Then why'd you kill my brother?"

And if you answer no (you aren't responsible), you get "well, that's your viewpoint. i won't judge you for it.... You dirty brother killer."

There's also the line of description you get if you go on to have a concert with Shyren after killing Papyrus: "A hooded figure watches the commotion from afar." It replaces the line that mentions Sans selling toilet paper tickets to your concert, and of course, of all the characters with hoods in the game, he's the one who would be most concerned with tracking your actions after killing Papyrus. So, it makes the most sense to infer that this hooded figure is Sans.

So his reactions, to me at least, suggest that not only is he heartbroken, he's furious with you. But Sans isn't one for direct confrontations and shouting like Undyne is, so he watches, and I think he still tries to understand why you'd do something so horrible. But that doesn't stop him from being angry because there's no excuse for killing his brother, but sparing other monsters, that he can fathom.

I'm personally not a fan of depictions of Sans sobbing over Papyrus' dusty scarf--he just doesn't strike me as a guy whose first reaction is to cry. For my understanding of him, it makes more sense for him to go numb, initially, then save his anger for his parting shot in the last corridor. No matter what you answer, Sans gets the last word in, and it's always to remind you that you did not have to kill his brother.

So uh, yeah. that's what I think.

I've been thinking about how Purah created a potion of eternal youth while Impa, her sister, stays the same old lady with more wrinkles than skin. I have come to two possible reasons for this: the serious one and the funny one.

The serious one is that Impa and Purah had opposite reactions to surviving the Calamity. Purah saw her friends get vaporized by guardians and developed a fervent fear of death, and a need to prove that her science could over come death (and, by extension, the Guardians who killed her friends). Impa on the other hand saw all her friends die and developed a fear of outliving her remaining loved ones, of once again being the last one standing. This ultimately means Purah created a potion of immortality and there is no force on this earth that could get Impa to drink it.

The funny one is that Impa and Purah have a bet going on who'll die first and Purah pulled what is called a 'pro gamer move'.

Ravio in Necromancer Hyrule AU?

This is totally not canon to the AU but I couldn't resist XD

Ravio takes dark magic like a duck to water so he's basically fine, he doesn't need most of his bandages but he likes feeling covered. You wouldn't even know he's undead. This would not happen in canon cuz Legend won't allow Ravio to be revived at all

The dead should stay dead n stuff. But if he was resurrected, Legend would stick to him like glue

Hyrule would be forced to eat constant dog food, poor guy (dog food 狗粮 ; (Internet slang) public display of affection (term used by singles 单身狗 forced to "eat" it)

Ravio would make him feel bullied in his own home lol

Rulie would sometimes tell on them whenever he visits the princesses (while not mentioning he's talking about people he raised from the dead- as one does)
