I can't get the idea of one of the bat kids innocently asking for back or arm tickles and Bruce is like?? Okay? And just tickles the crap out of them totally misunderstanding that they meant like gentle, light sensory time Imao.

I feel like it would HAVE to be Dick or maybe (but probably not because he’s waaaay too tough) Jason just based on Tim and Damian's family situation's pre Bruce.

But like imagine it!!

Little Dick Grayson rushing into his somewhat new guardians bedroom with tears in his eyes after a nightmare and it takes Bruce awhile to calm him down.

Eventually Dick's breathing evens out and he's pressed into Bruce's side clutching Zitka.

"What can I do, Chum?" Bruce asks softly, running his hands through the boys hair in a soothing gesture.

Dick thinks for a minute before he mumbles, "tickle my back." He suggests so innocently and quietly that Bruce almost thinks he misheard the boy.

Bruce's brows pull together, it's not that he won't oblige the kid, but he doesn’t exactly see how it would help, Bruce thrashed and squirmed like a maniac when Alfred tickled him to pieces in his younger days, not exactly the picture of calm and serenity he'd think Dick would want after a nightmare.

But who was he to question his coping mechanisms?

Not like Bruce had any good ones to share.

So he quirked his head to the side and gave Dick a 'you're sure?' Eyebrow raise and Dick nodded, already leaning forward with a sleepy, tear stained gaze focused on the TV across from the bed. A race car documentary quietly filled the silence.

That is until Dick's shrieking laughter took over.

"B!" His eyes went wide as Bruce's hand stayed planted on his back, long fingers skittering at the backs of his ribs. "Wait, wait, wahahait!" His bright grin returned, he squirmed forward until Bruce's hand stopped.

"You asked me to-" Bruce started, confused as to what the problem was.

Dick spun around on his knees to stare at his guardian with bright blue eyes. "I didn't mean- you-you're supposed to do it gentle!" Heat rose to Dick's cheeks as the realization dawned on Bruce.

"Ah," Bruce pursed his lips, a bit upset he'd read the situation wrong, hoping he hadn't upset the kid further. But looking at him, his smile reached his eyes, apples of his cheeks beaming at Bruce and suddenly Bruce didn't feel so bad. "Like this?" He reached out and squeezed Dick's kneecap, grinning at the reaction it earned and continuing to knead at the muscles.

Dick let out a yelp before he was halfway across the bed, hands up ready for a defensive maneuver.

"No!" He laughed at Bruce's silliness. "No, let me show you!" He gestured to Bruce's arm and the billionaire gladly held it out for him, palm up.

Dick began slowly tracing his fingers up and down Bruce’s arm, looking up at him expectantly like he was actually teaching the older man something.

Bruce let his arm relax, and he had to admit it was a lovely feeling. The smooth motion almost let him fall asleep then and there, but a rowdy 11 year old pulled him from the trance.

“See? Like this.” Dick stopped. “Gently!” He urged. Then he spoke a bit softer but steady as ever, “like my mom used to do.”

Bruce smiled softly and gave him a nod. He never, ever wanted to discourage Dick from bringing up his parents, and he had a feeling he knew what his nightmare most likely entailed. “Alright, Chum. Let me have another go. I’ll do it right, I promise.”

He let Dick shuffle around, repositioning this time to lay across Bruce’s lap, head landing on a pillow and aimed once again at the TV.

Bruce did as he promised, making slow, smooth, random patterns across the span of Dick’s tiny back.

Dick melted into the contact, and Bruce’s heart did the same. Seeing his ward, his kid, curled up and relaxed after such a display of waterworks was much needed to put his own mind at ease.

It took Dick a little while to fall asleep and if Bruce poked just a little too harsh in just the right area a few times to hear Dick giggle, well Dick made no complaints.

This HC can be literally used anywhere not just Forsaken,but I will share it anyway since it's not like there's a place for universal Roblox HC

Based on animal shed fur,insect/crustacean shed shell,lizard shed skin and plant shed leaves

And sorta linked to some robloxian are more code based

Every living thing in Roblox universe sheds their old codes, the rate of shedding depends on how code based are they or how much update they needed to function for each species

But some might fail to shed their old code,John Doe is one of the examples on what could have happened if they failed to shed old code (they get corrupted)

1x1x1x1 and Noli is second example(idk,they got mutated I guess)

Third example is just death,C00lkidd died to that due to using C00lgui,which made him unable to shed code properly cuz of the code mutation and eventually died (sorry,not sorry for the angst add-on)

If their own geneticode get mutated(due to being hacker or smth),each shedding has high possibilities to mutate them further more till a point,it could cause their shedding process to have higher risk (007n7 almost died multiple times in his hacker era cuz of it)

Admin never experienced much consequences from failed shedding or mutation,since they can fix their own code if it have gone wrong

while all you do is hug little zandy and reading him a book, about Fontaine machines and their science things, for an hour or two till he falls asleep, and this only happens twice a week

when Pantalone found out the segments were jealous he grinned so hard that day, and may have told bina and every other harbinger just to annoy the doctor even more, the gossip is juicy tonight for the agents. you made sure to cuddle every dottore you have available a little more than usual after that.

the fact that Zandik is hearing all these thoughts from different segments is so funny to me, like he's trying to concentrate not think about his lover right now(very hard), and when he finally succeeded theres another one being more jealous than the last, please leave [name] and the child alone and get to work. he's way more jealous than every segments jealousy combined

It was always rather amusing to see Dottore's segments jealous, although you probably haven't seen real jealousy. Even though they do get jealous of each other, most of the time they don't bother letting it brew - they just simply go up and try to steal you, which usually ends up in a semi-fight that you quickly deescalate with a compromise. However, it's different when the segment is none other than Zandy... after all, it was well known that the child had a certain unknown power that none of them possessed. It was unfair, really. What did a mere child have that they didn't?! Yes, they're secretly happy you're that affectionate to the boy who was ostracized and constantly hurt, but that doesn't trump their grumpiness! Of course, you don't really realize at first, considering the segments seem to be busy most of the time anyway.

Pantalone, however, having to deal with these scholars more than he liked, over time became keenly aware of when his business partners were in a bad mood. Well, it was pretty obvious with the younger ones, but the older ones required some more delving into (which he'd become accustomed to due to his not-so-desirable deals). It had only taken the Ninth a bit of prodding to discover the segments' cause of discontentment, and their romantic woes were perhaps one of his favorite sources of amusement. Although what comes out of his mouth later is certainly... not the best for the fearsome Il Dottore, it's not all bad, just as Pantalone planned. The rumors reached their way to you, of course! And with that, despite the segments denying all accusations, you make sure to give them all numerous kisses.

Prime is exasperated, but not unsurprised at his clones' thoughts. At least for once, they weren't fighting, but rather complaining in uncommon unison about your lack of attention. Still, it doesn't make it much better... their minds should not be so weak as to fall victim to a mere lack of touch and sweet words. It was quite ridiculous...

Im glad you liked it! I've been working at a bakery for a few weeks now and I was surprised at how little baking I do (which is none). 90% of the job is packaging the goods to sell in the store! So the idea just came to me while at work!

In all good fun, I think Trey would try to poke a bit of fun at you, though he does firmly believe in the superiority of a proper bakery versus a grocery store one. He'll acknowledge that he's biased, but not wrong.

But with the wrong tone and a prefect who woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning, Trey is suddenly met with a one-sided rivalry that he could end with an apology, but...

Well, forgive him for this, but Trey finds it very funny and endearing how offended and angry you get. Especially when your immediate response is to challenge him to a bake off (which you lose, miserably).

It's such a deviation from your usual mannerisms. You're always polite, kind, and attentive, and the fact that he's the only one to rile you up over something that's really so trival is actually a bit fun to him. Trey has had to be a big brother figure for the last few years and regin in Riddle as best as he can, so it's nice to have a bit of fun.

You're just mad that this fedora wearing, broccoli-color haired, 5'11" asshole called your old job "pseudo baking". So what if he's technically right and you didn't bake anything from scratch yourself? That doesn't mean he gets to say it to your face without consequences!

Most of the banter is you giving Trey snide comments and him replying with amused, teasing remarks. Normally he wouldn't let this escalate to the level it's at now, but damn it you're awfully cute and it's actually a bit fun watching you scramble around in the kitchen to make simple cupcakes.

"I know the recipe! I just didn't have to make it since I did a later shift—BUT I still trained for baking stuff you know!"

Hey! I'm psychotic, and a writer, and recently I stopped taking my pills and my characters have been talking to me. It's the best feeling in the world. They're with me through everything. I know them inside and out and they know me just as well. Then there's a bossy voice that tells me to take care of myself that I've just been calling Caretaker. I can sometimes let them come forward and see through me. I feel different when that happens, like I'm in the background, but I never really go away. Am I plural? (I do have trauma, but idk if that's where they came from). Is calling myself plural okay? Or am I just a person with psychosis?

Genuinely, if you in any way, for any reason, experience something you'd call being more than one person/entity/identity in a body? You can call yourself plural.

We know of people who call themselves plural based on their hallucinations. We know of people who call themselves plural based on seeing themselves as a spiritual medium. It's not all just DID/OSDD or something you were born with or created plurality. There's no one true plural experience--plurality is simply the sate of being more than one. It doesn't matter where they came from.

You might get some people arguing that "you can't know if these are real headmates or hallucinations!!" but ignore them. We're psychotic and technically because of that, we'd never be able to tell if most identity-things we experience are just a result of psychosis. But that doesn't and shouldn't matter--we experience them anyway. If you experience being plural, and later it turns out to be psychosis or something else.. You still had that experience. You still lived that way. It's a thing you felt and lived and it's a thing that was you, for at least some amount of time. And we think that's enough.

That being said, if you want to call yourself a person with psychosis, that's fine too. You can do whatever you want, it's your identity.
