the Axolotl is like that naive girl who only dates bad boys and says "he can change, I know he can! Just give him a chance! I can change him!" Except they're not his boyfriends they're his clients. And nine times out of ten he's right and everyone hates it.

as for Bill, they think about what you'd expect them to think of a guy who destroyed a dimension then destroyed several more dimensions then took over the core/nexus of the multiverse then tried to take over a few more dimensions and usually destroyed them in the process and finally tried to conquer/destroy one last dimension and died.

A few chaos gods think he's cool, but like... you'd go out of your way to attend a party if you hear Bill's gonna be there; but you wouldn't invite him to your party.

Wonder if it's normal to be so... aware of using my ao3 account to leave comments. Like I've had multiple occasions where the writers have recognized me from reading my works & have been excited. Which is great!! But also has me Aware that there's a nonzero chance of people recognizing me when I leave comments places.

Mostly just. Ya kno. Makes me aware that anyone can see what I'm reading and commenting on and connect it back to me. Makes me more hesitant to comment on some of the more indulgent things I've read while using my account.

We kinda have the same feelings about Obi-Wan (guess we'll be neighbors with the fishes together?). So on that note, character breakdown of Anakin?

How I feel about this character: My baby boy! My darling little fussykins. My chaotic son.

Honestly, he's a hot mess. I feel like he's one of those characters who suffers from needing to be what the plot needs him to be, if that makes sense? There's some very inorganic elements to his story, but overall, I do feel a great deal of sympathy for him. The amount of trauma packed into the first 23 years of his life alone would have broken me. I've put up with a lot of shit, but four years of war with millions on the line (starting from when I was ninenteen) would snap me like a twig.

Also, just like with Obi-Wan, he's most interesting to me because of his bizarre, closer-than-brothers relationship with Obi-Wan. Do not separate, matched set! Bad things happen if separated.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Toss-up between R2D2 and Ahsoka. Murderbot or little sister. It's a hard choice! (Obviously I'm excluding Obi-Wan from this, since he's taken the ship slot. OTHERWISE...)

My unpopular opinion about this character: That he's often willfully misinterpreted because moral superiority matters more to people than to sympathize with a deeply flawed, abused character who did terrible things.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I feel like buildup to the Tusken Raiders massacre was handled awkwardly in general. But if I could just make one definite change, it'd be for him to murder the adults (I'd like to see where it says the women were oppressed innocents instead of just as much of raiders as the men) but to draw the line at killing the children. That would still set the stage for ROTS, but make the murder of the younglings even worse because before, he'd stopped. Thus drawing a starker contrast and having some synergy between the two scenes.

hey guys! how did you guys decide what suffixes to use, and what they mean? im building my own set of fan clans in a setting away from the UK, i’m making great progress on prefixes but suffixes are stumping me! any tips?

Our list of suffixes is here. For suffix meanings, I would say it'd be best to name for notable traits the Clans consider positive - great hunter, mellow personality, hard worker, sharp scout, etc. That will also help with worldbuilding for these particular societies; figure out what they value and why.

(apologies if this is something you've already answered or don't want to at all, feel free to ignore) what would happen if bill wore those truth-telling teeth from the bottomless pit episode? would he be vaguely unaware like stan or be able to feel the magic? what does someone like bill even *consider* the truth when compelled like that? would he be able to simply decide a new truth the way he does about killing mabel, or would he be stuck at objective reality?

The bad news is somebody else did ask but the GOOD news is I spent a whole evening talking about it, so you get to backread all those posts, including a drawing of Bill clawing at the door to escape his interrogator. (It starts about halfway down the page.)

Aislin does, mainly because it means she has to wear less and doesn't really like baring her scars - she avoids showing her midriff if at all possible due to the really nasty explosive and surgery scars she has there from her accident.

Kiku does since she just dislikes sweating so much. She's got a lot of curves, and sweat tends to gather in said curves, making her very uncomfortable when she gets sweaty.
