Safari on iOS now has an option for private browsing. So if you need more privacy, you can now do so. I already tested it out, and it works. It doesn’t remember my search history at all.

Hopefully this will be helpful for those who get nervous looking up certain things.

Lmao. DDG added a ‘dislike AI’ option as a response for when it prompts you to give feedback if you down-vote the crap it auto-generates that clogs up the top of the search results.

Like ‘Dislike AI’ doesn’t cover ‘I’m searching for something and this is not a search result it’s just something else I have to scroll past along with the ads to get to the actual search results which are the thing I am looking for which should perhaps be obvious from the fact that I tried to use a search engine’ but okay.

If you choose that option do they just put the feedback straight in the bin? Bc they don’t really seem to care if people just ‘don’t like AI’. Then again, I doubt they’ll care about ‘this is not the service I am trying to use and as such consider it spam that is simply negatively impacting my experience using your service.’ It’s certainly unhelpful but I’m not sure we share the same idea of what that actually means.

Amusingly when I checked what source it was citing it was Wikipedia, and you know what Wikipedia didn’t have? :)
