how to get pretty privilege?

alright you all have been asking for this so here ya go. this is my take on how to live in your pretty. (i just don’t like the notion that pretty is everything. also it gets dangerous when you take into account certain harmful, discriminatory, and divisive beauty standards. so take all this with a grain of salt.)

stop being so stuck on ‘pretty.’ i understand the world we live in and obviously being pretty is an aspiration to many but you look desperate, lame, insecure, and worse when you’re so consumed with how to be pretty. let alone pretty privilege. everything isn’t about that so don’t act desperate.

now actually be pretty. take care of yourself. make and stick to your maintenance routines!

learn natural vs artificial beauty and utilize both. actively treat your skin with intention but also practice your makeup.

invest heavy time into your self development. be it school, a cert, a passion. it’ll make you feel good and boost the confidence you need.

build and honor your body. however you want it. align your activity and diet to your goals. don’t pump your vessel full of bull shit.

don’t be nasty. truly. like as a fellow bitch i love a good bitchy persona. but when you are arrogant and showman, people can’t see your beauty so it needs to be dialed back. be a pretty person on the inside.

learn your features. this is what the beauty binder is for. i started maramaxxing and to me this simply meant aligning what i want with what i’ve got (hence the use of my name). and it truly has changed me for the better. work with what you’ve already have.

i cannot stress how important it is to have your own sense of fashion. you need your own aesthetic. i’m not saying everything has to be artificially pieced together but curation can really create a brand. and this creates a sense of allure and can truly speak for you.

signatures are such a pretty amplifier. a lot of people hear the word ‘signature’ and think you need to stick one thing. no. it’s literally whatever you decide. it gives you a sense of polish and perfection.

go where you’re appreciated!! if you wanna feel the benefits of your brand of beauty go where it’s the standard. won’t go further if you know you know.

According to Chuck, Dean doesn't mind feeding Amara "into the meat-grinder with a wink and a smile."

And certainly there are layers to how he feels about doing that... Dean has always walked the line between doing what’s right and what’s necessary, but in this moment, his morality is being pushed to the breaking point.

It’s an existential crisis because it challenges everything he stands for, every instinct to protect and not betray. In this situation, his sense of duty and survival are at odds with his humanity—making him question what he’s willing to sacrifice to win. But ALSO.

Perhaps, deep down, he’s still reeling from the fallout of his and Amara's initial connection.

In Gimme Shelter, Dean is chafing over her decision to meddle:

DEAN: You're damn right. Look at you. Just another cosmic dick rigging the game. You're just like your brother. AMARA: It was a gift, Dean, not a trial. DEAN: I'm not angry, Amara. I'm furious. To know that all my life, I've been nothing but a hamster in a wheel, stuck in a story. And you know whose fault that is? Chuck's. And it ain't just me. We're all trapped. Sam and Cas and Jack and even you. And you want to talk about the people that he's killing right now— AMARA: Stop. ...

AMARA: Can I... trust you? DEAN: I would never hurt you.

Amara and Dean's initial relationship wasn’t just symbiotic; it was predatory.

And with Chuck’s voyeurism looming over the season, it’s all a trigger for Dean. Dean longs to be free—not just from Chuck’s voyeurism, but from Amara’s fascination with him. It’s not just about the manipulation; it’s the lack of consent, the way Chuck and Amara have both used him for their own agendas, to make Dean tap-dance, or to "see what could put out his anger/fire."

That said, Amara empathized with Dean

She wanted to return a lost loved one to Dean. She’s not alone. In fact, both Amara and Cas did that—Amara bringing Mary back to life in season 12, and Cas trying his best to bring Sam back to life in season 6.

But how they perceive and engage with Dean could not be more different. Amara: Her actions toward Dean come from a place of curiosity that borders on predation. At first, she seeks to feel what it is to be human through him.

When she revives Mary, it's at its core a way of experimenting with his emotions, not engaging with them. It's a desire to feel what Dean feels for her own sake, not truly honoring him as a person. (It's a bit of a throughline from how Crowley initially sees Demon Dean, "See what I see, feel what I feel.")

It’s tricky because empathy tends to be, at least in part, self-focused. That’s normal. But the difference here is that Amara wants to see what Dean does in response to a cosmic trigger. It’s a grand experiment.

In season 15, she's taking tentative steps toward her own experiences, but when it comes to Dean, there's still a niggling sense of predation or compulsion: "You have a distinctive musk. We will always help each other." Cas: On the other hand... Cas’s fascination comes from a place of genuine empathy and a burgeoning recognition of Dean’s humanity. Cas tries to witness Dean’s emotions as a detached observer but can't help resonating with them.

He finds that Dean helps him stand up for his own values—values he's been forced to bury over and over again. Quickly, Cas's engagement with Dean becomes based on a shared history, a shared fight, and shared values. They don't always agree, or even always help each other. But despite their sometimes very explosive differences of opinion, they usually come to a mutual understanding of one another.

When Cas revives Sam, it comes from a deep sense of guilt and frustration with his own kind. Cas wanted to protect Sam from a fate he felt was tied to his angelic brethren's actions—their failings and their manipulation of the human world.

Cas’s shame about his brothers' actions simmered beneath the surface, eventually boiling over into the white-hot rage of an authoritarian, but unlike Amara, Cas’s initial move was to simply to protect those he loved from the celestial forces he once served.

In short, Cas sees Dean’s pain, his flaws, and his humanity, not as something to be experimented and tinkered with, but as something to cherish and understand. To protect.

Overall, despite some occasional teasing and sniping, Cas witnesses and honors Dean’s humanity, recognizing it as something valuable and worthy of respect, even when, and maybe especially when, it's ugly. //// Anyway, it just seems to me that Dean's panic response in late season 15 regarding Amara could have been inflamed by his and Amara's underlying history.

Amara assumes she and Dean are bound by fate to always help each other—an inevitability, not a choice—and so, choosing to betray her becomes an act of rebellion in itself.

"Kafka was the one who came up with the idea to start this crAwl thing. She used to follow me around when we were kids. I mean, she followed me everywhere. It was annoying. I wanted to be alone, mostly. I didn't want to be there and I didn't want anyone there to notice me. I wanted time to pass without incident until time stopped. Kafka had other ideas. She's... the opposite of me. She wants to be everyone's friend. She practically is. I don't know how she does it. I guess something about her pulls you in. For such a bland place, she's... a bright spot. Who wouldn't want a bright spot? I thought maybe if I could be more like her, life would be easier. But I don't think that's true. She's too trusting. Too brittle. And something is going to shatter her someday. I can't be there to protect her from every blow.

Amara joined the group when she was only 14... I felt off about that. She secured her spot through auditioning, and by all means, she deserves it. But - ugh. She's too young. She's only a child. But I can't underestimate her. Aren't we all children? We were, at some point. I forgot when. She's more hardened than Kafka, or any of the others, really, despite her age. I hope she stays that way.

Eunbin isn't my classmate. She doesn't even go to ANAKT. In this way, she should be more of a mystery to me. But she's not. She's emotional. Tender. Her feelings about the people around her are too obvious. But there's something dark about her... I think she longs for a bright spot in her life. If that's what she was expecting by joining crAwl, I would think she's disappointed. We're a business, not a friend group. The work is hard. It's no walk in the park, is all I'm saying. As talented she is, she'd be better off home...

Everest is - strange? Cold and distant. You get the feeling she has more going on than she lets on. He's a season winner, more of a professional than any two of us combined, and he knows it. What's she even doing here? Or in Alien Stage again, for that matter? I guess time will tell.

Jwi is an anomaly. Sweet, but not personable. Odd. Like Everest, she hasn't been here as long as Kafka, Nilaavu, Amara, Eunbin and I. Maybe we just haven't clicked yet. I doubt we ever will. She seems to like performing. We have something in common, then.

And Nilaavu, she's a founding member with Kafka and me. I've known her almost as long as I've known Kafka. She warmed up to the idea of crAwl before I did. And, well... her and Kafka running off on their own to start a group without a plan would've gone horribly. So here I am."

Light is a closed-off person who keeps her emotions strictly separate from her speech, but she does care about the other members of crAwl, particularly her fellow founding members + Amara and Eunbin. She’s less certain about Jwi and Everest, but she does care for their well-being. She thinks of Kafka as her best friend and those other 3 whom she’s closest to as her sisters, but good luck getting her to admit it.

Amara, i know youre a car genius, so i wanted to ask: what type of car do you think Bam is? And do you know anything about the other vehicles? Share your headcanons or facts with meeeeeee

I'm pretty sure Bam is custom built. We're talking about the most advanced car ever created here, thats not just some car with a few modifications. His fenders (the parts over his wheels) make me think of a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, preferably 3LT. I don't know what kind of car Bam exactly is but i'm positive he was based of some sports car. His body design makes me think of a Corvette but i'm pretty sure hes a custom. This is Batman.

Its similar to the Lightning McQueen debate. People have been brainstorming what car type Lightning is for YEARS. While its confirmed that the designers took multiple cars, like Corvettes and Dodge Vipers, and mishmashed them together to create one unique vehicle. I like to think this is the case with Bam too. And its very likely.

I think its the same with Bibi. Shes definitley some type of sportbike hybrid seeing the stunts she does. But she has more coverage and thicker wheels, so she is probably a hybrid too.

About Redbird i'm not sure. Its said hes a sports car but his build makes me think of a Hyundai Santro, wich is not a sports car, but he has scissor doors (doors that go up instead of open) a feature a lot of sports cars resemble. Another hybrid i guess.

"Worries too much. She always fussing over me, and freaks out when I'm out of her line of sight for too long. Kafka says she's like my 'older sister,' as if that, I don't know, justifies it? I've never had an older sibling before, but I'm not sure if I want one of they all act like that.

I remember one time I was gone for like a day, and when I came back, the group all looked so worried, especially Kafka. She had started to question me, to ask me where I was, blah blah blah. But the look of worry on her face.. I couldn't help but start laughing! I could tell from the others faces that it was a strange reaction, but I didn't care. How does hal feel about his dad? (⁠ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠)

Conflicted. He wants his dad to be a good man like Gabriel was to his mama all those years ago. But Amara didn’t lie to him about what she thought he’d become. Nightmares and a constant drive to be good and make her proud wears on him. It’s too much stress for a young man’s mind.

His path is still uncertain. Hal wants to look up to Gabriel and did until Elias Walker came to find his mama. He told her what his father became, what he’s done, and when Elias met the son of Gabriel Rorke, he was afraid. Not of him but of what Hal may become. It strikes a deep rift with the idea that he will be a good man when he’s older, and brings a new posible future of flames and destruction.

He feels haunted by the man he’s never met. Amara knows she raised a good man but will the inner turmoil be too much? Will he overcome the doubt and prevail through everyone screaming he’ll be just as hungry for blood as his father? Or will he be a spitting reflection of ‘The Ghost Killer.’

I can’t exactly give an answer without infodumping all the species I currently have lol. It’s going to be a two parter because I have too many photos. Already used all 30. They’re going to be categorized into separate sections for easier reading, though!

Nimue’s a mermaid, actually! For sirens, if I do use them, they’ll be more aligned with the bird women counterparts that Greek Mythology originally had. Sirens being mermaids annoys me so much 😭. And apparently it started in the Middle Ages, soooo that’s hard to shake off.

Yes, there are other species! A few of them are gods, dragons, spirits, mermaids, fairies, elves, orcs, and vampires.

I actually made a list for creatures I wanted to include in Daylight’s Redemption: Emerald Embers, but I think it could still fit for TKN! Crossed out ones are species I already have.

They’re one of the most important species in the world of Galdorcræft (Gall-dor-kraft; the Old English word for magic). They aren’t a monolith, and they all look vastly different, from humanoids with a couple of different features such as glowing eyes, to a completely non-human wolf-spider hybrid.

For the most part, they currently have one domain each, but they can have multiple! For example, the aforementioned hybrid (who’s named Helena) has fertility and children as two of her domains, and Merlin has magic and justice as his.

All of them have resurrective immortality: after they’re killed, their body disappears with them when they go into limbo, and once a little bit of time passes, they come back to life. They can choose to either go back to where they died, or spawn somewhere else. The injury or injuries that caused their death are healed, but depending on the severity they’ll scar (which is how Merlin got the scar on his throat from it being slit). Gods who aren’t dead can also go there if they’ve already died before.

Sometimes, depending on their domain, the more one uses it, the more it invigorates them; the more Gunnar, the god of war, fights, the harder he is to defeat, and the same applies with Merlin using his magic. Does Merlin sometimes use a ton of magic to stay awake longer? Yes, yes he does.

For some, there isn’t really a way for that, because if Helena is the god of children, what is she supposed to do? Make people have more babies?

Most of them also can’t logically get cut off from it, besides Merlin. Magic suppressants also affect him much worse than other wizards. For them, it literally just takes away their magic, and they’re completely fine while they’re on otherwise, as well as once they’re taken off. He, however, feels worse the more he’s without it, and he can even pass out from having them on for too long.

Some of them bleed an aspect of their domain, if that makes sense. Catherine, the goddess of the sea, bleeds water. Merlin bleeds a mix of his magic and blood the color of brass, like what older weighing scales are made of. While Helena’s blood is colored green, it still makes plants grow.

Others with more abstract concepts, I suppose, or things that wouldn’t translate as well, like Adhan (the goddess of animals) or Amara (the goddess of life), bleed a mixture of red and gold that sometimes almost gives off the appearance of lava due to the colors. I got inspired from Gwendy’s cut concept of ichor in EPIC: The Musical!

Unlike Greek Mythology, where gods getting along depends on which ones, the majority of them get along with each other, even if their duties sometimes take them away for a bit. Adhan (Merlin and Ganieda’s mother and the goddess of animals) and Helena are best friends, partly because they both understand what taking care of helpless creatures that sometimes aren’t cared about by people are like.

However, like Greek Mythology, sometimes being the descendant of a god means absolutely nothing. Ganieda didn’t win the genetic lottery like Merlin and is a normal human, buttttt she was made immortal through another way. 👀

Wait I realized that wouldn’t this make him a demigod?? I want him to be a full god 😞 Um. Unless Adhan was a goddess??? The question is why would she be living on earth if so, and ummm. What’s her domain Or not earth I guess Cause the world is Galdorcræft Okay wait. Merlin’s name actually means “sea fortress” in Welsh so… Adhan, goddess of the sea?? Waittttt I wanted Ganieda to be. human so um. Ugh I don’t think a kid could be born human with two god parents?? Okay okay hold on um. I briefly had a little idea of like human and gods procreating having a chance of their kids being completely human despite the god heritage?? Sorry for the ramble spam my brain isn’t braining consistent things 😭 Sooooooo wait if I have furred dragons and scaled dragons being the same species could gods be born to human parents?? Okay wait. Ummm what if like gods completely cancel out human heritage so they’re born fully gods?? Doesn’t solve Ganieda though 😭 Unless I make her a goddess of smth Idk Or I retcon lore and make her not his twin again?? I don’t know my brain is dead I was thinking more and maybe Ganieda is just a very minor goddess compared to the rest of her family? 🤔

Anyways, being divine doesn’t exclude them from being disabled: Eleanora (the goddess of love) has a prosthetic peg leg, and Merlin, of course, has schizophrenia, psychosis (as a symptom of it), anxiety, C-PTSD, and misophonia.

There are ✨also✨ queer gods! Merlin is a transgender man and non-partnering romance and sex repulsed aroace, and Amara is a transgender woman. They’re shaking hands being trans gods lol. She had bottom dysphoria and changed it when she shapeshifted into a woman, and while she’s happy now, she wishes she could have grown up a girl.

Their names are all vastly different, and only a couple directly correlate to their domains:

Helena, fertility and children - “light” or “bright”

Merlin, magic and justice - “sea fortress”

Gunnar, war - “fighter, soldier, attacker”

Catherine, the seas - “pure”

Adhan, animals - no known etymology from her name

Amara, life - several different meanings, but in Latin “everlasting” or “bitter”.

Mórrígan, fear - translated to “great queen” or “phantom queen”

Eleanora, love - either unknown or “shining light”

She was an adoptable from Ko-Fi! I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with her at first, but I got ideas pretty quickly. She was my first non-human goddess!

Merlin:

Some characters are just an absolute bitch to nail down a design for, and he was one of them. Merlin and Uther are just two examples, although Merlin wasn’t really frustrating? Probably because he’s my blorbo besides Charlie lmao.

Some of the Gunnar design saga posts are at the bottom since I’m at the 30 photos limit. You can really see how he changed!

I made him again in Heroforge yesterday after trying to combine two designs from his previous attempts, but my sister and boyfriend both thought he seemed too much like a tiefling. As well as being very generic, and that next time I mentioned him in a post they wouldn’t remember what he looks like.

I looked through other species to make him, and I thought of changing his species to a Lionfolk! He won’t be called that here, though. He’s more like Egyptian Mythology where they have an animal head and mostly humanoid features otherwise?

Catherine:

I’ve had her for quite a bit! I first made her April 29, 2023. I thought she’d be a fierce queen of deep sea mermaids or something, but I decided to use her for Catherine instead of making an entirely new character. Made her in HeroForge yesterday!

Adhan:

She doesn’t have a set design yet unfortunately. 😭 I’ll hopefully reveal one soon!

Amara:

I’ve had her design for quite a bit too! I first made her on May 13th, 2023. I redid her hair on July 9th, 2024, as well as making her a goddess after not knowing what to do with her, and I finally made her in HeroForge yesterday.

Mórrígan:

I made two concepts at like 5 AM on July 16th, but the first one is what I ended up going with! I also made her in Heroforge, but alas, photo limit.

Eleanora:

She’s actually my first oc ever! From Narnia. I first made her in Gacha Life in 2019 at least. I wanted to use her in Emerald Embers, but I don’t remember if I ever figured out a role for her. I wanted to still use her for TKN, and had the idea to make her a goddess! Didn’t know for what at first, but then I basically said “fuck it we ball she’s the goddess of love”. I also said “fuck it” with giving her the peg leg lol.

I’ve had the thought of a “‘my leg broke!’ and everyone freaking out, but it’s a prosthetic joke” multiple times lmao. But I never had a character with one until now. Lol.

Dragons:

They’re actually a bit different from their usual depictions! Many of them have fur instead of scales, and are far more mammalian in general instead of reptilian, such as giving birth to live young, producing milk, and purring like domestic cats.

A lot of their characteristics are inspired by big cats, actually. (Lions and tigers mainly, lol.) Examples are: eating one big meal and then not eating again for four to five days, liking water, hissing, growling, and roaring like a tiger, and flicking their tails when angry.

It applies to their designs as well, since they have lion-like fangs, paws, and paw pads, and soft, cat-like fur.

Charlie specifically also has characteristics from other animals; his claws are like bears, his face is long-nosed and fox-like, and his wings are high-speed and tapered like peregrine falcons. His parents’ wings seem a big too long and thick to be that type of wing? I think the paws and claws could still work for them, though! And maybe the facial structure.

Unlike the aforementioned big cat characteristics, dragons don’t need to sleep that much compared to them! 7-8 hours a night, like the average adult human, is enough. (Lions sleep for twenty hours a day.)

Land dragons, anyway. Undersea dragons lay eggs, and are far more reptilian, as well as having translucent bodies. They’re wingless, since having them underwater would only be a hindrance instead of a help. They also lay soft-shelled, snake-like eggs instead of giving birth to live young, and all of them are blind because of underdevelopment. Like olms! And like olms, their senses of smell and hearing are great.

Despite the differences between the two subspecies, as a whole, they age one physical year every fifty-five chronological years. At a year old [fifty-five], they’re still too small to open their eyes. Five years later [60], they’ve opened, but their teeth haven’t grown in yet. Ten years later [70], they’re able to be weaned off milk. At two years old [110], they’re able to speak. From there, the main changes are their bodies slowly changing into adulthood. They become full adults at five years old [two hundred seventy-five].

That’s when they finally leave their parents, since both of them raise their kit, and set out to find a mate. Like lions, they can find one throughout the year, but they also have a breeding season. Theirs is in the summer, from July to September. The males gift the far larger females carcasses of deer and other animals, and if she accepts, they begin courtship rituals, such as nuzzling and flying together. They test each other’s strength through fights, and eventually, they fall in love, or at least deem each other to be compatible mates. Their bond is lifelong, like swans, because I think that would be sweet :)

Their gestation period is two years, with the aforementioned aging process.

Unless they become immortal, like how Charlie did through his familiar bond with Merlin, they live to be fifteen [825 years]. Dragons hold funerals for their dead, settling the body ablaze and mourning.

And yes, you read an earlier paragraph right. All dragons are sentient and can talk! Most of the land dragons can’t read, but they can be taught to. Charlie can since he grew up around humanoids.

Also, a lot of dragons do have huge hoards of treasure and the like! Charlie doesn’t, though. Guess what his hoard is instead :)

Believe it or not, I actually struggled with the worldbuilding for a while. 😭 I’ve had how dragons age for a bit, but for a while I wanted to have both mammalian and reptilian land dragons. I had them all be the same species and officially considered dragons, but there was a furred subspecies and a reptilian subspecies. Like now, the furred ones gave live birth and were more mammalian in general. The scaled ones usually laid eggs and were more reptilian. Charlie was obviously the mammalian side, and there were actually more variations in between the two.

But some people kept saying that didn’t make sense, and that the furred dragons should have scales, despite my insistence that Charlie’s a mammalian dragon and I was not going to give him scales.

“but they’re still reptiles so they should have scales though if he doesn’t have scales he isn’t a reptile” “HE’S A MAMMALIAN DRAGON” “can’t he have SOME scales” “I SAID THIS “NO “NO SCALES FOR HIM” “😐 boring”

Despite them also telling me it’s fantasy and to do floating islands because it’s fucking sick?? We had multiple arguments about other aspects of dragon worldbuilding, like how Charlie shouldn’t be so knowledgeable as a baby, but I didn’t care; I was ignoring them and making them the same species.

Later, I realized that sometimes you’ve just gotta be silly and goofy in your worldbuilding, and I finally had a reason as to why mammalian dragons and reptilian dragons were the same species: the god who made them was drunk lol.

I eventually scrapped that and chose the furred dragons, thinking maybe reptilian land dragons is an accidental false depiction. They’re usually taught to be feared from an early age, and Charlie is one of the few, if not the only one, who lives among humans.

Design reveal time!

Charlie:

Despite how big he looks, he’s smaller than an average male dragon even as an adult. He’s thriving, though! ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜ His original design is at the bottom; it’s the one called Fulgent Flames!

Rachel:

She may look cool, but I can promise that she absolutely sucks! She abandoned her baby and said he died because he wasn’t growing fast enough for her. She has scales because of her father being a land dragon, and her mother being an undersea dragon. They can interbreed, but it’s somewhat rare.

Alwyn:

You can see where Charlie got his red eyes from! But like cats, they can look entirely different from each other and still be related. He also sucks, since he actually fully agreed with Rachel. He can’t give an excuse of inaction, either, since he actually went with her to see his son being abandoned.

Possible long-lost sibling?:

Technically just a recolor of Alwyn, but I’m adding them in anyways! I’m still not sure what to name them… I think they’d be a sister if I do it?

Wingless furred variant:

Maybe a genetic malfunction made them be without wings? Or maybe there are just some wingless dragons lol.

Undersea dragons:

Aren’t they cool? :D I think their skin might feel smooth and cold, and slimy if one of them had just come out of the water.

Mermaids:

Last for this post, but not least, mermaids!

They have the same core trait: tails (of course). Otherwise, they look vastly different. Some of them have webbed hands, while some don’t; some have ear fins; some have fins on their tails; along with having vastly different skin colors that range from human-like to more fantastical, such as purple, green, and blue. Even their tails aren’t all the same. Nimue, for example, has a traditional mermaid tail, while others can have tails that resemble goldfish or sharks. Some of them also have scales that trail up their bodies, while others don’t.

They live in vastly different locations, as well. There are shallow water mermaids, deep water ones, lake ones, pond ones, river ones, and tiny rock pool ones! Basically imagine a body of water, and there might be a mermaid or two in there!

Many of them are highly social and live in pods, and often venture out with their friends. They share platonic affection a ton, and take care of each other’s hair without any stigma. Since many of them have long hair, it’s quite helpful. Queer mermaids aren’t a surprising sight, and Nimue herself is aroace!

When mermaids want to court one another, one will bring the other fish they hunted themselves and seashell necklaces. Sometimes, they accidentally end up bringing each other gifts at the same time. They might give a love confession, but for some, actions speak louder than words, and nothing has to be said. It depends on the prospective couple, really. To propose, they bring their partner a piece of brass jewelry they made themselves, using some of the air pockets in caves around them to forge it.

When they get married, they have a simple ceremony with family and friends, with the leader of their pod, royalty or not, officiating.

When they have children, they lay fish-like eggs, since they have fish parts. They have human-like ovaries, but the rest of their reproductive organs are fish-like. They have traits from different fish, such as having a genital papilla like oarfish, for one, which according to Wikipedia is: “a small, fleshy tube behind the anus in some fishes, from which the sperm or eggs are released”. Their eggs are also fertilized externally/outside the body like salmon, and it takes a period of eight to twenty-three days, like cod, for mermaid guppies to be born.

I would say they are parallels of one another, they are both loyal to a fault and will do anything for the people they care about, even if it's at the cost of their own health or wellbeing.

How tall is Amara?

Somewhere around 175cm (5ft9in)

Amara's perfect day would be somewhere away from Helion (she loves him, but he can be a bit much), reading and just relaxing somewhere quiet and far away from the city.

Who would Amara like the least in the ACOTAR world?

Amara hates and despises the night court, specifically Rhysand and Amren.

Who annoys Amara more: Jurian or Johan? For sure it's Johan, for Jurian she can be forgiving since he is human, so he doesn't annoy her as much. He is annoying but not that annoying since she knows she could kill him plus he has a shorter life span so she lets him be. But something about Johan wakes up her competitiveness and she is desperate to one up him in some way. So it has to be Johan.

hihi it’s been awhile (a few days but like that’s close enough)

anah and morrigan know how to sew, morrigan not very well but anah shares a few pointer, anah knows how to sew because of the nuns

also for some reason i used to imagine lam as pale, silvery blonde, grey eyes????? i just?? ignored the description??

Anah’s stitches are clean, precise, almost medical in nature, no matter what material she’s sewing.

She finds it almost therapeutic, in a way, the repetitive motions and attention to detail. If she focuses enough, you can’t really see the stitches. She hides them within the patterns on the fabric, threading and unthreading seams to near-perfection.

Mog likes sewing. She really does, but she’s mostly self taught, having to stitch her own ripped clothes more often than not, lest she be berated for doing anything other than sit perfectly still. She evolved from clumsy stitching, meant more to hold things together than look pretty, to sturdy, if a little uneven, mending.

Anah and Mog probably bond over that, at least a little. Morrigan probably started giving embroidering a shot, just to have something to do, maybe to understand the Art Of Weaving better, to have something physical to liken it to. Anah would help, hesitant at first, still not entirely convinced that Morrigan is part of her team, the little family that Unit 919 is supposed to be. But they’d learn from each other, share little jokes, soft spoken conversations as they sew and embroider, side by side.

Perhaps they weave a friendship.
