Loves bonding over cooking and baking— whatever you like! If there's anything you're ever craving, Choji is taking to the kitchen to make you a gourmet meal as good as any professional chef!

Prime rib, lamb, tartare, croissants, macarons, soups! It doesn't matter your allergies or preferences, Choji can and will make you any food your heart desires.

Offers excellent cuddles. 11/10 squishy and soft.

Is very understanding, a fantastic listener, and naturally positive.

Never lets the romance l die, and after a hard day at work, will feed you ice cream while you rant about your day.

𓆃 Hinata

Traditional wife who has always wanted to be a traditional wife since she was a kid.

Content with cooking, doing laundry, and other domestic work.

Although, because of the society and the way she was brought up, she might feel insecure transitioning out of shinobi life.

While being made to feel weak isn't something Hinata is a stranger to, she is sensitive to comments from others about her domestic life.

Be sure to give her lot of reassurance and validate her work around the house.

𓆃 Ino

Also wanted to be a wife growing up, but the stay-at-home life is clearly not for her.

She'll try it for a period of time after your wedding or union, but she's far too restless for cooking and cleaning.

You supposed that she thought it would be relaxing and aesthetic, but if anything, she's getting frustrated and throwing the potato across the kitchen as soon as it slips out of her hand.

Ino will eventually find important work to do, come home to complain about it over dinner, and buy you something nice in a half-brag about how much more money she's making.

This is, of course, not to say she's bad at housework or doesn't do her share. She's perfectly good at domestic work and does the bulk of it, but the moment you expect it from her is the moment she stops.

𓆃 Kiba

A slob who, if allowed, will live in heaps of trash.

For the bulk of his 20s, he'll be super unsure of the whole settling down thing. You could make a whole bingo chart out of the cliche bachelor lines he spouts.

I'm not really a marriage kinda guy. I don't wanna tie myself down to a ball and chain. I just wanna meet people. I'm looking for someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Nah, I'm not looking for a relationship.

That is... until one day he wakes up and desperately wants a family of his own. To an extreme extent. Like his expectations are absolutely insane.

As a husband, you'll need to reevaluate those and have a nice long chat because at the beginning of your relationship he will certainly not be pulling his weight.

𓆃 Lee

Sweet, clingy, loving and sincere man.

Ah, you are the sun, the moon, and the world to Lee. He is constantly thinking of or doing the sweetest possible thing he possibly could for you at any given hour of the day.

Is his execution great? You'd give it a 50/50. Does he ever take a break? NO.

Whether it's breakfast in bed or going on a grocery run to get it off your plate, you're sure to have to put out one fire and learn how to use 20 carrots in your meal prep for the week.

He really tries his best, he just gets a little excited.

𓆃 Naruto

Another slob, although well intended.

Naruto never had a formal family growing up, and so he has little ideas of what's expected.

Much of his idea of what a partnership should be comes from media or stupid things that Shikamaru probably told him on the playground growing up, so you'll have to work together as a team to set expectations.

A lot of what he does for you is in his language (you have to learn that him making you both ramen cups is indeed a romantic gesture for him), but he loves exploring things that you like!

Naruto explores your likes and hobbies in a very genuine and non-performative way. Sharing things you enjoy together will be the foundation of your relationship.

𓆃 Neji

You'll spend your first year of marriage focused heavily on strict boundaries, expectations, and other couples work.

The way Neji was brought up completely fractured his sense of family. Not to mention, no matter what you're like Neji will certainly have to fight with his family in a silent battle over clan politics.

Because even though the Hyuga clan has stopped certain practices, doesn't mean that everyone in the clan is in mutual agreement or share similar attitudes with each other.

This will be a marriage built on structure and meaningful confrontation. Neji is determined to break the cycles of his family to make a healthy life with you.

𓆃 Sakura

Wasn't sure if she'd end up with a partner. She really wanted it, but with everything that happened in her life, she had her doubts.

Most definitely too hard on herself. Sakura pushes herself to almost fall over you to ensure you're pleased. Whether it's housework or cooking, there's a part of her that feels the need to prove her work ethic.

It's the small things with Sakura. Even after a long day at work, she'll still bring you your favorite home for dinner, even if the place is out of the way. She'll stay up an hour later to spend time with you even if she has an early morning.

𓆃 Sasuke

An ironic mix between Naruto and Sakura.

As a kid, Sasuke 100% wanted to be a husband when he grew up. 100% wanted to have a spouse to provide for and had similar dreams that some kids often do when they think about families.

But after the Uchiha Tragedy, much of Sasuke's outlook about his future has been skewed. Any relationship will start off as rather unstable and you can almost count on Sasuke being emotionally distant

It's about how the two of you work through his baggage and his willingness to be vulnerable.

𓆃 Shikamaru

Surprisingly well-adjusted?

He knows how to do basic life skills. Pulls his weight and sometimes even does your tasks. Shikamaru is generally clean and organized.

Where's the problem? He's terrified of commitment.

Most of the relationships in the Nara clan seem to consist of passive Nara men with verbose spouses who have no issue bossing their partners around.

But at the same time, Shikamaru doesn't mind this dynamic. He wants to laze, but he's also almost seemingly afraid of dynamics that allow him to laze.

He'll be just fine around the house, just a bit dramatic if you ever ask him to do anything. He'll get over it.

𓆃 Shino

Great husband and great family to marry into.

Just overall very balanced, if not quiet. The Aburame clan is close, but respectful of each other. You'll never have to deal with nagging in-laws because Shibi has already taken you in as one of his own.

Enjoy fresh meals of produce expertly tended to from the garden.

While Shino has his more talkative side when it comes to people he's close to, he's still quiet by nature. Don't expect that to change just because you've gotten married.

The obvious con is the massive amount of insects that will constantly be around you. You're not allowed to trap them or kill them.

You will have to get used to bugs crawling on you.

𓆃 Tenten

You're always doing something crazy.

You don't think any of the other Konoha 12 ever expected that Tenten would have the most exciting marriage, but look at her now.

You're always innovating, making new things for her business, and taking spontaneous trips to check out crafting techniques.

Anything and everything you set your mind to, you support each other in. There are ten million projects scattered around your home.

You roll up to get-togethers (when they seldom happen), being the most traveled and bringing the most unique gifts.

No one knows what you're going to be up to next.

this is kinda a stupid question but does DJ Octavio use any particular pronoun in japanese? i know in that language people refer to themselves using pronouns based on how they VIEW themselves if i remember correctly, and i was intrigued

Not a stupid question. I skimmed through what little instances there are that he speaks during story mode. Couldn't find a direct "I" but found an "us" pluralized from ware, I think this is the best we can do.

"We are destined to fight!"

ware is the same pronoun used by Commander Tartar (though this time it's written in katakana like the rest of his foreign, octarian speech, rather than Tartar's kanji.) iirc in my video about Tartar, I talked a bit about how ware in fictional settings tends to be used by characters that are very old and/or think highly of themselves. I think this pronoun choice is fitting for DJ Octavio, he's old as hell and has a powerful position as the leader of the Octarian army.

“That was a really sad story.” You said as your eyes glazed over. The Abyss order had kidnapped you and held you captive for a while now. You weren’t sure how long you’ve been down here but the food was good enough and they’d borrow enough books from the surface to keep you entertained.

“I’m sorry. We weren’t been able to borrow anything else because of the security around the Favonius library.”

“Well, you could just let me go and I can find something on my own.”

“No! We need you here to further our plans!” He panicked.

“What plans? What happened to Dvalin? What’s the deal with Andrius?”

“Just calm down my liege. All will be revealed in time.” He patted your head and walked away.

“I want to go home.” You curled up in a ball.

“Aaaaahh!” Someone yelled. That ear piercing scream roused you from your sleep.

‘Should I shout for someone?’ You thought. ‘What if somebody broke in? But if it’s a fire and they don’t know that I’m still here…’

“Help! Help me please! I don’t care who! I just want to see the Sun again!”

The door squeaked open and you thought that maybe your pleas would be recognized, until you saw that the man who walked in was a Pyroslinger Bracer. “Why is the Fatui here?” You whispered meekly.

He raised his rifle towards you head. “Wait, please! Don’t kill me! I wanna live, wanna live!” He shot, but the bullet bounced off of your skull and fell on the ground. “Well… that was anticlimactic.”

He shot you again 3 more time. “Ow! That hurts, dickhead!”

“How are you alive?”

“Hehe. We’re immortal Buffy we can do anything. Oh yeah? Clap.”

“My name’s Vincent.”

“Oh for shucks sakes.” You roll your eyes.

“I’m sure the Doctor will be very interested in you. For now I’ll take you back to Childe though.”

Dottore needs to back the F up before he gets smacked the F up for what he did to Collei.” Vincent bound you hands, then grabbed your arm and pushed you through the Abyss. “Hey real quick for my internal monologue I need to know what pronouns you use. It’s been maybe two hours since the Fatui captured you and you’re finally at Liyue Harbor. They’ve taken you to the Northland Bank to meet Tartaglia. Vincent threw you onto the ground at Childe’s feet.

“What the Abyss is that thing?” His presence is all consuming.

“That “thing” said that they’re name is Gen with a G.”

You look up and see the red head eying you up with disgust. You return the glare and proclaimed, “I finally get to meet my rival. I swear to you, I’m going to seduce Zhongli and get his cock!”

“Excuse me?” He looks at you even colder than before.

“You heard me! I’m willing to take him up my ass if he’s gay.”

“You are vulgar and repulsive.” He pressed his water blade things against my throat and sliced across it. You fell back onto your butt at the pressure.

“Ow. Yeah, um—Mr. Tartar sauce—that’s not going to work. I’m kinda immortal, somehow.”

“How dare you insult me! Do you know who I am!?” He grabbed you by the top of your head to look him in his eyes.

“Hey! This one’s broken!” You yelled at him as you were being dragged away.

Ugh this sucks! You still have nothing to defend yourself with! You can at least tie the stupid thing around your wrist.

Thought I’d whip up a short bio for my 3 and 8 OCs, in honor of them making an official physical appearance in one of agent z’s belated Christmas Special.

In all honesty, I’m only really posting this because I’m in the process of trying to shift my OCs away from the Splatoon world, but I still adore my Agent OCs enough that I still want them to coexist, albeit without really following the parameters of the game canon, because the more I think about my 3&8 OCs, the more I want to look at Agent 24 as it’s own thing, because I feel there’s too many rules for them to follow and lines that are clearly not intended to cross within the blue walls of Nintendo, a company I no longer hold any warm feelings towards.

Coleco - Formerly known as Agent 3 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, and is now called the Captain. Known commonly by their peers as Three. An Inkling of tanned skin, green and blue colored tentacles, orange eyes, and a toned body adorned with scars. They are slightly blind in their left eye after being hijacked by Commander Tartar during the Deepsea Metro escapade. Often portrayed as stoic, steel-gazed and a force to be reckoned with when on the job, they also exhibit a softer side reserved only for their Octoling girlfriend, Marisa, also known as Agent 8, or Eight. They also operate under the alias of DJ_SANGO and DJ in their spare time. Their hairstyle is the default female, and their outfit consists of a B-ball Headband, an Anchor Sweat, loose sport shorts, and Blue Moto Boots. They identify as non-binary and use they/them pronouns.

Marisa - known commonly by her peers as Agent 8, or simply Eight, she is an Octoling of brown skin, baby blue eyes, and fuchsia colored tentacles. Her body is toned, a bright green scar rippling through her back, a permanent reminder of her previous experience as a test subject of the Kamabo Corporation. She has an adventurous, high-spirited personality, taking every opportunity possible to learn more about the surface world after defecting from the Octarian Army and making it out of the Deepsea Metro. She stands at a taller height than her girlfriend, Coleco, and enjoys writing poetry in her spare time. Despite her title, she is not considered an official member of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, but is closely affiliated with them due to her relationship with Coleco. Her hairstyle is the default female, and her outfit consists of the Golden Toothpick, a Custom Painted F3, Capri sweatpants, and Sun & Shade Squidkid IV shoes. They identify as female and use she/her pronouns.

what does the rest of the splatoon think of 4 and acht dating

Before I start, here's a quick summary of the pronouns I'll be using for each of the agents:

Agent 8: He/him

Captain 3: She/her

Neo 3: It/It's

Agent 4: They/Them

Eight supports them 100%. He's an absolute sucker for romance and he got to see it blossom first hand since he was in the elevator when Four climbed the spire and whitnessed the two slowly fall in love. (If anyone reading this has no idea what I'm talking about, you can check out my post on it here.) Eight and Marina act as Acht's wingmen, trying to encourage them to confess their feelings for Four. (Pearl does the same for Four.)

Captain 3 is on edge around Acht. She remembers being controlled by Tartar vividly and is worried that Marina's Memverse plan might not have worked as well as she thought it did. When Captain was sanitized she couldn't do anything to fight it, so how could some code made it go away entirely? What if Acht is just trying to take advantage of Four having been greyscaled? What if they're plotting something malicious? Her suspicion never really goes away, but it does fade over time. Her main goal is just to protect those she cares about.

Neo 3 had never met Four before Side Order, so it didn't have any connection to Four. It and Four sort of become playful rivals and will often purposefully be on opposite teams in turf war and ranked matches. It likes Acht, but is a little bit afraid of them. It thinks Acht is really intimidating. Regardless, Neo 3 supports their relationship and likes to joke about how it's friend is dating a zombie.

Callie is just happy that Four found a partner. She'd been trying to set them up with someone for a while and is excited to see that they've finally found someone who makes them happy. She thinks it's cool that Acht is a musician and wants to collab sometime. She organizes a monthly game night amongst her friends and was very excited to invite Acht (against Captain's wishes).

Marie feels similar to Captain in that she's suspicious of Acht. Both her and Captain exchange paranoid theories about Acht's true intentions that gradually become more and more convoluted. As the two get to know Acht better and let their guards down, their theories turn into a running inside joke rather than real suspicion.

Cuttlefish is... trying his best. He can be insensitive at times by saying things like "You know I was almost put in the sludge that telephone used to control your partner." He doesn't realize that he's just bringing back traumatic memories for Acht and making it awkward for everyone else (especially since only Eight was supposed to be in the sludge, he was just sort of there). Four is trying to teach him not to say that kind of stuff.

Deep Cut, while not a part of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, would likely end up meeing Four and Acht since Marie is their boss. They're really competitive, especially Shiver and Frye. Frye will often say things like "You two may be big shots in Inkopolis but in Splatsville we're the kings. Don't forget that." in hopes of indimidating Four and Acht. Shiver will just give them mean looks. Four thinks it's super cool and Acht just finds it funny. Really Shiver and Frye feel thretened by the fact that Acht is a musician and they don't want Big Man working with a different artist again. Big Man is embarrassed by how they act and often aplogizes for them, despite the fact that Acht and Four don't mind.

The Resurgence AU is the name I have chosen for my take on the world of Splatoon. I have a timeline for this AU (A timeline I will not be posting in full here until those stories with the certain story beats come out). This document’s purpose is to give people a much clearer picture of my AU and everything in it. I will probably not be drawing a lot for this AU because I have no confidence in drawing sea creatures (/silly) and also don’t have a lot of drawing motivation very often. This doesn’t really have a sorted list of everything so…sorry to all of my followers if you’d prefer this stuff to be sorted…

This story takes place 4 years after Side Order. Villains are not killed, only left in a bruised ego state. Commander Tartar jumped ship before Pearl’s Killer Wail hit the NILS Statue. As no one could find any remains, everyone assumed Tartar was obliterated. Commander Tartar went into hiding afterwards and when he could, brought Mr. Grizz back down from space. No one knows how Mr. Grizz got down from space but hey, he’s not being evil anymore.

Current Timeline:

The floods occur → a group of 30-40 religious humans move to the mountains (think like…Rapture from Bioshock if you know the basic lore for a better idea) → 12,000 years later + evolution → mountain cult → Everest’s revelation + journey down to Inkopolis where she meets Tartar very shortly afterwards → Around this time, Mother Finiona discovers August on a shore line, clearly in some form of terrible pain → August grows up → Hush happens → Tartar is reset → Operator and Everest meet → ??? (No spoilers for you)

Humanity: To start this off, humans are still around though they’ve undergone evolution from living in the mountains (Mount Everest in this case) for so long. They’ve grown much, much, much more pale, almost snow white. They’ve gotten sharper teeth for a more carnivorous lifestyle, bushy or frizzy, snow white hair. Some of them have amber eyes but interestingly, some of them have almost black eyes (makes for a creepy sight late at night!!). A lot of them have grown to have more body fat to keep warm in such a cold climate. In cases like Everest (though, admittedly, she hides hers at every opportunity), their feet have gotten slightly cloven/hoofed for climbing rocky surfaces. For all anyone knows, the mountain cult that Everest escaped from are the only humans still left over from 12,000 years ago.

Characters:

Mother Finiona, August, April, May, 7, Commander Tartar, Operator, Everest, CQ, Fern and Boulder (I swear the last three are important in their own ways, I just don’t have a solid design for Fern and Boulder)

Character descriptions:

August: Stingray; Bright orange with light orange accents around the underbelly and end of their tail; tail is noticeably broken; light blue eyes; white T with a light orange, ink pattern at the bottom; black shorts with the same, light orange, ink pattern at the bottom; tall white socks with orange line around the top; black boots with white laces and orange soles; stingray frill with strange, not yet identified orange ink covering the inside, this ink has lighter orange swirls in it; slightly inked left eye; 17; autistic; nonverbal(?) around those they don’t trust; loves getting wet; 5’04; they/them pronouns.

Mother Finiona: 4’05; she/her; pink scales with dots of purple all over, barely visible though; translucent blue fin that goes from the top of her head to the bottom of her curled tail; inventor goggles usually on her forehead; blue eyes; white coat covered in pockets, has deep red, ink stains all over it; deep blue toolbelt; blue undershirt with coral patterns; black leggings; doesn’t usually wear shoes but I think she’d wear light blue sandals with white soles; 40ish; pastel blue palms; August’s caretaker/adoptive mother.

May: Pink axolotl with darker pink frills (dark blue with greenish frills when sanitized); deep blue, almost black eyes; 5’02; wears a slightly baggy sea blue t-shirt with purple shorts and yellow sandals/flip flops; often has headphones on at home to tune out her 100 siblings; 18.

April: Pale blue olm with deeper blue frills; 6’07; wears a paleish pink sweater with purple swirls and salmon pink sweats, with white band aids where her eyes would be if she had any, also deep violet boots with gold accents; 17.

Everest: Frizzy, snow white hair that goes down to her shoulders, sometimes has bits of white ink, sanitized ink and dirt in it; sharper teeth; amber eyes; pale, almost completely white, skin; slightly chubbier; feet are slightly hoofed/cloven (can climb up surfaces easier); 6'02; She/Her (Sometimes referred to by it/its by Inkopolis folk); her current age is 20 (she was 17 when she came down to the Deep Sea Metro); since moving down from the mountains, into the Deep Sea Metro, Everest has abandoned her fur coat (comprised mostly of Himalayan wolf fur with a Himalayan wolf head head but noticeably has black bear and snow leopard in it too) in exchange for a much more athletic and sleek, thin, white long sleeve with the Kamabo Co. logo up in the top left of it, and black tights with a line of white trailing up the left side; Everest also wears white dirt bike gloves with black at the ends; can either have white boots with black soles, pearl white laces, and cream white fur at the top of them or completely white, slip-on, sport shoes.

Commander Tartar: 12,000+ naturally; 7’9; it/he/they; large metal robot with a telephone head; deep blue conductor’s hat with the Kamabo logo on it; sharp metal claws, be wary; a little chubby and no one has any idea how a robot gains weight, Everest’s theory is that it’s because Tartar is slightly organic from its DNA experiments; deep blue conductor’s outfit with a black bow tied around neck; Kamabo Logo in the left corner of outfit (suggested to be hand sewn. Who knew an android could sew?); black capris that tuck into deep blue (almost black) boots with golden yellow soles. Tartar’s commander outfit just has Tartar wearing a white coat that’s noticeably been worn down and resewn a LOT; also wears white gloves and white boots with golden yellow soles; basically just a light color palette in general compared to its normal outfit.

Operator: All that changes between Tartar and Operator is that Operator wears a big, ink stained janitor’s jacket with the Kamabo logo in the bottom left corner with brighter blue boots with golden yellow wave patterns.

7: 7 is your average sanitized octarian, though she has much friendlier eyes compared to the others. 7 doesn’t like fights and will actively avoid them; 5’03; about 19.

Which naturally means that Commander Tartar has her working in every single test that requires these combat ready Octarians. Meanie. I originally imagined her as being cold and almost like Everest in character before giving 7 to my friend to write who promptly gave 7 her current personality. I approved it because I liked it more than the cold 7.

Relationships

August

Mother Finiona: Mother Finiona is her caretaker/guardian and August feels very comfortable around her, treating her like a real mom. Their relationship is rather wholesome I’d say. Mother Finiona is always there to comfort August. She even made August splat bombs with deep red ink in them to defend themself if push ever comes to shove. They keep them in their backpack.

May: August likes May quite a lot but not as much as they like April. May’s nice to August and May’s one of August’s few friends so they’re a little attached to May.

April: August feels the most attached to April with how calm she is. August likes calm people. They’ll hang out with May but overall, August prefers April’s gentleness and quiet voice.

Everest: …Considering August stung Everest and uh…killed her for a while, August and Everest do not get along well. If anything, for Everest, August is a kill on sight if killing is an available option!

7: August is terrified of 7! They think her eyes and appearance are really creepy. 7 might be kind of August but her eyes and the fact that she’s a sanitized octarian scare August enough to try to avoid her.

Commander Tartar: The android literally broke their tail! August hates Tartar’s guts as terrified of him as they are!

Operator: August doesn’t care if Operator isn’t evil like Tartar, they avoid Operator like the plague…leaving Operator completely confused.

Mother Finiona

August: Finiona treats August like a real daughter even with their strange injury. Finiona doesn’t care what August looks like.

May and April: I think Finiona would like May and April.

Everest: Finiona wouldn’t like Everest for obvious reasons (attacking August and her friends, being a menace through and through, being violent to her and everyone related to her and so on)

7: They’d get along I think.

Commander Tartar: Boy if Finiona had a say in Commander Tartar’s fate, Finiona would’ve had him compacted into a cube of scrap metal!

Operator: Finiona…trusts Operator somewhat and thinks that he’s good…

May

August: May sees August as a very good best friend and likes them a lot (Everyone she meets is classified as her best friend).

Mother Finiona: May loves tiny things!! Of course she likes Finiona!

April: Well, April is her sister and all, so… “The best out of our 99 siblings!”

Everest: Despite Everest attacking August and all, she really likes and adores the human (Kind of a Papyrus situation)!

7: She may or may not have a crush on 7…!

Commander Tartar: She isn’t very fond of him.

Operator: She still doesn’t trust him, but he is very nice to her, which hardly anyone is (She gets bullied a lot, mostly by Leo).

April

August: She likes August, probably her second best friend. (Crush? [If approved])

May: Siblings! They both very much agree that, aside from June (other sister), their 200 siblings are annoying.

Mother Finiona: April is quite fond of the seahorse!

Everest: Meh.

7: She’s alright with 7.

Commander Tartar: No.

Operator: Still no.

Everest

August: August and Everest are on fairly bad terms. Obviously. August literally killed Everest!

Mother Finiona: Everest dislikes Mother Finiona and is jealous of the love she gives August.

May: Everest likes May…I guess.

April: Everest likes April a little more than May for just how calm she is at times.

7: …Everest may have a small crush on 7 thanks to them being in similar situations (having various details omitted by their guardians (Everest’s biological parents in her case) so they rely on them)

Commander Tartar: HE’S HER GUARDIAN. Everest is completely loyal to Commander Tartar and follows their every command as directly as possible.

Operator: Everest despised Operator at first. I think later on though, they would have a bitter sweet re-adoption where, afterwards, Everest starts working on redeeming herself.

August: At first, Tartar saw August as someone weak and easy to sanitize and as someone who wasn’t worth blending or putting through tests. Then August stung and killed Everest and instantly, Tartar hated August and wanted them to suffer (As Everest is the last human Tartar knew, understandably, it hated August)...and then August stole Tartar’s journal with the last words of the Professor and this led to Tartar becoming Operator because Tartar’s anger towards August led to it being reckless.

Everest: Tartar adores Everest and views her as his daughter. Admittedly though…I believe that Tartar manipulated Everest’s own ideals to be more like his over the 10-11 years that he had Everest in the Deep Sea Metro. When Everest first entered the Deep Sea Metro, she entered with the thought process of “Humans suck and they should all be wiped out” and “Some of the citizens of Inkopolis might be good, we may not need to kill them all” and by the time Everest had spent 3 years down in the Deep Sea Metro, her thought process changed to “Not all humans are bad, we can spare some of them” and “All the spawn of The Leviathan must be destroyed. They’re all false gods” in the most of basic terms…

Mother Finiona: Commander Tartar, if they had ever met Mother Finiona, would non stop insult Finiona’s parenting of August. Non stop pettiness like a shitty and @busive ex husband (believe me, I would know, I had one as a step father and yes, he still attempts to get back at us 3-4 years later)

May, April, and 7: Tartar views them all as just sanitized seafolk and really, really, really doesn’t give a single care in the world for them. I think it only keeps them around because Everest somewhat likes them and..y’know, Everest doesn’t have any friends.

Operator: After Operator learns he used to be Commander Tartar, whatever is leftover of Tartar’s code haunts Operator and constantly makes him worried that he might take over and…stuff.

Operator

August: Operator treats August like an old friend and treats them like they treat everyone. Super nicely.

Everest: Operator didn’t understand why Everest hate it so much and why she was almost always hostile towards it until Everest tried to fire the NILS Statue again (“To make him remember who he is!”) as Tartar had been working on repairing it over those years it had been in hiding. After this, Operator was finally able to realize that it used to be Commander Tartar and that Tartar was one of the few people to understand the trauma she got from the cult and calm Everest down.

Mother Finiona: Operator likes Mother Finiona quite a lot and compliments her parenting. Often, Operator also goes to Mother Finiona for parenting advice. While Marina usually repairs Operator, sometimes, Mother Finiona does it instead if Marina is busy.

May: Operator adores talking to May and rambles to her about books sometimes. Yeah, Operator reads books. Usually history books as the reset of Tartar left some blank spots in his memory about humans. Sometimes he reads murder mysteries (which you probably wouldn’t expect from someone like him). Operator’s current favorite is “And Then There Were None”.

April: Operator has literally no clue why April dislikes them and refuses to even talk to them. Operator will often try to make conversation with April but often gets stonewalled.

7: Operator has no clue where 7 went after it allowed her to see the surface and leave the Deep Sea Metro. Operator just hopes that 7 is doing okay wherever she is.

Commander Tartar: Operator hates talking about him and often tries to avoid any questions about Tartar. At the moment, Operator only knows basic information of Tartar and any attempts to pressure him into answering questions about Tartar will result in Operator turning into his tiny, octopus form and super jumping away. Ever since learning that Operator was once Tartar though, he often has nightmares about him and Operator constantly worries that one day, Tartar will take back control of Operator and destroy everything…

Other Random Trivia

To start this off, I believe I may have caused a little bit of confusion having The Leviathan seemingly show up in a dream that Everest had. So…

* The Leviathan that Everest’s mountain cult worshiped, truly, does not exist (Or as I put in my notes ‘Does not existence’, mm, yes, very good grammar past me👌). The Leviathan that was grumbling about Everest leaving the cult in her dream was The Tear/Draven. One of his nicknames is The Leviathan, yes, but he is not really THE Leviathan. The Tear is a fucking wannabe who wants to be seen as so powerful not even God could defeat him because he’s a pathetic, man-child, human soul from the 1600s who was burned at the stake for doing witchcraft with a god complex.

* Everest’s story actually takes place before The Blaze’s story, hence the comment “But maybe it’s for the best. I see a little flame who needs my guidance more…” The ‘little flame’ The Tear is talking about is The Blaze.

* Operator’s original character was supposed to be a telephone android that was never ever Tartar that was built a few years after the incident to help clean the Deep Sea Metro. Operator wasn’t originally intended to be a reset version of Commander Tartar. It just randomly came to me while I was working on his lore. Immediately after, I decided it was much better lore and made it canonical.

* The concert that Everest witnesses when she first enters Inkopolis is the Suffer No Fools Splatfest between Pearl and Marina and Shiver and Frye.

* Everest has never seen the color pink, purple, ect.

* I’m sorry that most of these are about Everest, she just has way more trivia than any of the other characters- I’ll do August in a bit.

* The relationship between Everest and CQ can best be described as Frienemies. Everest despises the brutal honesty she gets from CQ and how, when Everest first entered the Deep Sea Metro, he often tried to sabotage the tests. The relationship between them is still noticeably tense but CQ is willing to do favors for Everest (keeping Everest’s late night testing a secret from Tartar even after they banned it) and Everest is willing to talk to CQ and even do some favors for him (Everest has helped clean the trains a few times).

* While Everest’s main weapon is a golf club (often enhanced with ink spraying capabilities during tests), I think during certain tests where Tartar gave her the option to use other weapons, she’s gained a love for certain other weapons. Specifically, the Bamboozler 14 MK, Splat Roller, Dualies in general, Sloosh-o-matic, and the Splattershot.

* August’s original character had them having she/her pronouns but I decided on they/them pronouns because I could easily see them as a male character too. If you notice that August is sometimes referred to as a she in their stories (not counting May’s dialogue as my friend who writes May, April and 7 has told me that May and April both see August as a she)...it’s because I have shit memory and often fall into August having she/her pronouns. I correct these mistakes as much as possible but, obviously, some still slip through and I am very, very sorry-

* Okay, so, everyone knows, I write my stories on a school chromebook and, because the google docs on my phone are on the same school account, transfer them to Tumblr once I’m absolutely sure they’re finished and touched up correctly. Well, on the computer, August’s sign language is written in Italics. However, everyone knows that my phone is also broken in such a way that most of my keyboard (minus the bottom row which is punctuation, capitalization, and zxcvbnm) and a little bit above the keyboard will not pick up on my inputs and since Tumblr’s font things are slightly above the keyboard, I cannot put August’s sign language in Italics. Hence, my solution being 🚫 before and after her sign language.

* This might mess with the timeline a little but uh…I’ll make it work. Everest arrived in the Deep Sea Metro right in between the events of Splatoon 3’s Hero Mode and Side Order. When August’s story begins, Everest has already been in the Deep Sea Metro for 6-10 years.

* Elite is 38’s/Applicant 10,038’s cousin.

* Symptoms of being sanitized in the Resurgence AU are as follows: Initial burning feeling, slow movements and flu-like symptoms in general in early stages of being sanitized; feelings of needing to throw up (will never happen but it’ll surely feel like the victim needs to); completely cold body (like touching a corpse); pale green skin + appearance change that matches the ingame appearance of sanitized Octolings and Octarians; urge to follow Tartar’s orders exactly; near complete loss of free will; urge to call Tartar either Commander Tartar or Denewiah even in internal thoughts; never, ever calling Commander Tartar just Tartar unless only partially sanitized in cases like Dedf1sh or 7; increased aggression in cases like Elite; loss of IQ in cases like 10,038, 1,869 and most, if not all, octarians.

*Octolings are the more human-like looking ones and Octarians are more tentacle-like looking ones. If you see me not making this distinction, I either forgot or it’s an old story where this rule hadn’t yet been applied.

I'm sorry but to me ze looks like ze would unironically enjoy gregtech

The reason why large chunks of the world have no ore and dirt instead of stone is because he needs ore and sets up rftools builders everywhere

Likes to go fishing while waiting for its several fusion reactors and high end electric blast furnaces to process things

Floating scifi looking base mostly composed of sheetmetal, plastic and glass

Kai (he/she)

Resident thaumaturge and number one cause of flux and taint

Actively uses warping equipment but counteracts it by visiting Makena's base ever so often and brewing some Brews of Sane Thoughts

Hates pipes and jars, uses Thaumic Energistics to transport essentia.

Guess what she uses to power the aforementioned AE network. That's it, a heat generator powered by automated alumentum

Base is a floating mage tower in the End

Botanist and manaworker

Not amazing at redstone, compensates with Integrated Dynamics knowledge

Dabbles a bit in Astral Sorcery as well, but not much. Always has an Illumination wand on her

Uses a Void Miner for all her resources, powers it with a Mana Fluxfield

Base made up of floating islands with vibrant and colorful vegetation. Often sacrifices setup efficiency to make the whole thing look pretty

Zuri (they/them)

Just wants to farm and cook for Herobrine's sake

Favorite food is corned beef breakfast

The only magic/tech mod they're into is Roots and even then they just mostly use it to get crops and meat more easily

Lives in a small mud brick shack surrounded by several chunks of nicely squared farms

Enjoys less well known mods like Embers, Wizardry and Arcane Archives a lot

Owns an absolutely huge smeltery where they process the massive amounts of ore they manually mine (tinker's construct hammer + pickaxe + dank/null/)

Builder of absolutely beautiful underground bases

Ari (she/her)

Just wants to kill bosses and stuff

Give her a tartaric gem and a sentient sword and she'll have it filled up in no time at all

Very proficient with bows, her favorite is a tinker's treated wood-restonia longbow with max speed that she crafted herself

Main base is in the Twilight Forest but she has a smaller one in the Betweenlands too

Tech mod enjoyer but mostly a fan of the Thermal series and Immersive Engineering
