I got back into Love and Deep Space while also going back to tumblr to look at the tag and I was so inspired by what the community was making!! I drew these kids and make a lot of my own headcanons, but I NEED to point to @goldenstring6123 ‘s post about the boys as parents… it’s so good. It was Rafayel and Sylus specifically that got to me so I had to draw.

MC x Rafayel

Oldest daughter was a total daddy’s girl, before she grew up and began to take on MC’s more… mature personality. Though, still seeks to spend time with Rafayel, in her own way

Seen as the cool, mysterious girl at school

Plays the flute amazingly; Rafayel always buys her an almost ridiculously large bouquet of flowers for every concert and she is secretly overjoyed by it

Spends a lot of time at the beach, practicing or looking for shells for her younger sister

Youngest sister is Rafayel’s partner in crime (but frequently sells him out when MC convinces her with treats… “Et tu, little starfish?!”)

She is constantly asking to help him paint and, of course, he obliges

They both end up in a huge mess

She’s playful and loud, often causes trouble (sometimes Rafayel joins in on her tantrums and they just end up giggling together)

Asks Thomas to promote her own paintings… He has so many of them now

She LOVES cats, much to Rafayel’s dismay and tries to get rid of what she thinks is Rafayel’s “fear” by bringing home the stray cats she comes across

MC x Sylus

The girl twin frequently butts heads with Sylus, acts like an angel to MC

She frequently orders Kieran and Luke around, they call her “Lil’ Boss”

Desperately wants to attend those important meetings Sylus goes to, pitches a fit when she’s told she can’t

Mephisto listens to both twins, but perches on her shoulder more often

Has a sort of… morbid sense of humor as she grows up, tells her family that she’ll protect them if Sylus ever dies ( to which he’ll reply: “At least the N109 Zone will have fitting replacement, darling daughter.”)

Calls herself the “older” sibling and she is fiercely protective over her twin

As an adult, she wants to be in charge of Onychinus and she has more than enough experience for it

The boy twin is the more quiet of the two

Let’s his sister do the talking for him

Sickly as a child, it was a great source of concern for everyone, but he grows healthier

Shy with Sylus because he feels he can’t keep up with him and his sister, but they grow closer over time

He prefers MC, but frequently asks to be carried by Sylus. He likes being tall

He’s the one secretly giving Mephisto treats

Excels in his studies, helps his sister out

As an adult, he struggles in the N109 Zone and prefers Linkon City, but he still wants to help the family

These are my headcanons and if they’re OOC, I’m sorry! I went really specific and I thought of my MC while making them ^^ I’ll probably make another for Xavier and Zane, but I need to think about it some more which is funny because I like those two more than Rafayel…

Rotten Fruit Character Profiles - Sun Luohou

The younger of the last set of kids born before the family reunion, and the only set of identical twins that Xiuying and Qiuyue had, Luohou was carried by Qiuyue with Jidu.

He's very similar to his twin brother, he likes to prank and mess with people, and he's equally good at getting away with stuff, he's a much better liar than his brother is, really good at tricking people.

He’s got much thicker skin than Jidu, he's happy to be or make himself the butt of a joke, to the point people think he's dumb, but he can switch on a dime like his brother to his serious side.

He's very good a reading people, something he picked up from Luzhen, he sometimes gives this info to Luohou if someone's being a world class dick and needs to be taken down a peg.

Unlike his twin, Luohou isn't petty, he'd much rather have a laugh and move on then humiliate someone, but a prank is a prank and he loves doing those, he helps his brother come up with creative punishments for assholes.

His favorite kinds of pranks are the harmless kind that everyone, including the one being laughed at can enjoy, he wants to make people laugh and be happy.

He's also protective of his little sisters like Jidu, he worries a lot about them, especially when it comes to the realm of romance, where he is solidly out of his depth and he can't do anything to help them. He doesn't want them to get hurt in any way.

He's a lot better with the LEM shadow magic than his brother, which gets him seen as the stronger of the two by other demons, but he doesn't let anyone belittle his brother for that. This is where he'll be a bit more aggressive in his pranks.

He's (mostly) a jolly prankster who just wants people to be happy.

Like his flavor preferences, Luohou is much sweeter than his brother.

He's the go to guy for preserving the fruits from the orchard/grove, whether in jam, jelly, candied, juice or sun dried he'll find a way to preserve it. He has Jidu help him, which is why they don't work in the orchards.

Did I use the same base pose for Jidu and Luohou? Yes, they're identical twins and they do this shit all the time anyway. They aren't exactly the same, Luohou has a few less spots than Jidu, and their masks are slightly different colors, as are their fur colors.

Got any Foulfellow sibling aka The 3 kids of Honest John and Gideon hc ? (Dante , Mateo and Julieanna Foulfellow )

Mateo, featured on the left, is a part of Uma's crew and is a very loyal member.

Dante (featured in the middle) is a loner conman.

Julieanna, featured on the right, is a conwoman with only one friend (that friend being Sabina Stromboli).

Dante is the oldest at 18, Mateo is the middle child at 16, and Julieanna is the youngest at 13 (in d1).

Honest John and Gideon try to make family dinners mandatory for all 3 of their kids because they want to be a normal family sometimes.

Dante and Julieanna are partners in crime. Mateo does not get involved most of the time because he's tired of their antics most of the time. That doesn't mean he NEVER gets involved though.

This gives him ‘the benefit of the doubt’ from their dads whenever the three of them get in trouble.

Dante can be described as responsable, serious, and stoic. As well as a loner and a conman.

Mateo can be described as an anxious mess, overprotective, and firey when pissed off. Mischievous with those he knows really well. Like with Uma's crew.

Julieanna can be described as a hyperactive, mischievous, impulsive, short sighted con woman. Some might even call her a thieving brat (but not within earshot of her older brothers).

Honest John and Gideon tried to get all three of their kids to fill out applications but Mateo refused, feeling that it would be a betrayal to Uma. He respected his siblings' choice to fill them out, however.

(His parents sent one in for him anyway).

All three siblings aren't really big fans of school and it's one of the few things they can agree on.

Mateo is better at scamming people than either of his siblings.

Dante is the worst at scamming people and had gotten roughed up on more than one occasion when a con’s gone south. Which has caused both of his siblings (and his dads) to have to play nurse for him.

Dante has absolutely no friends and doesn't want any.

Julieanna’s future boyfriend, Pin, has to gain the approval of both of her brothers…which will not be easy.

They all use very outdated slang and no one knows what the heck they're saying.

Dante wants to be a pilot, Mateo doesn't have much of an idea of what he wants to do outside of being a pirate (he eventually realizes he wants to be a voice actor), and Julieanna wants to be a famous tap dancer.

They have some outdated hobbies as well.

Once the barrier is brought down, the three of them adore the auradon video games (and have fought over them) almost as much as they do Dr. Facilier's arcade games.

One of which is the Go Go Ballroom dancing game that Julieanna cheats at. Even if she won't admit it.

Julieanna is the best dancer and Dante is the worst.

Mateo’s best friends are the Gothel twins (Mason and Glenn). He doesn't have many friends outside of the crew but he also doesn't have many enemies either.

Mateo likes Diego de Vil’s music. Dante and Julieanna very much do not.

Mateo’s favorite colors are gray and blue, Dante’s are black and red, and Julieanna's are pine green and white (but she also likes gray and black).

Julieanna’s favorite food is water pie, Mateo’s is potato candy, and Dante’s is bacon roll ups.

Dante can't stand water pie but Mateo tolerated it.

Mateo hates bacon roll ups and Julieanna tolerates them.

The three of them all love 'State Fair Cream Puffs' and hate 'torta de coco' though (look, Honest John and Gideon suck at that particular dish. It's not their fault).

Honest John and Gideon got Julieanna when she was a few hours old as payment for a debt one of the Bimbettes (no one is quite sure which one) owed them. They got Dante the same way that year and Mateo the same way as well a year after that.

Dante has anger issues because of this and doesn't want any friends because he's scared they'll leave him like his real parents did. Nobody but him, Honest John, and Gideon know who his real parents are.

Julieanna doesn't know or want to know who her birth parents are. She's happy enough with the parents she has.

Mateo doesn't remember who his parents are but they are the route of his anxiety. Only Honest John and Gideon know who his parents are.

Honest John and Gideon refuse to tell anyone who the birth kids of their kids are because it's no one else's business but their own.

Dante has a glass eye collection. Everyone is too scared to ask where he got them.

Mateo has a weapon's collection. Honest John and Gideon have tried and failed to confiscate them.

Mateo nearly drowned in d2 during the pirates vs core four and co fight after he got kicked into the water. Hardy Hearts saved him.

Honest John and Gideon tried to get him to quit the crew after that but Mateo (loudly for once) refused.

Dante has pink-ish skin, blue ovalish shaped eyes, and short slightly curly black hair. He's also shorter than Mateo which infuriates him. He has a crooked nose from the three times it's been broken as well as one on his chin and behind his left ear.

Mateo has light tawny skin, big brown eyes, and short coiled dark brown hair. He has a hook shaped scar on his nose (Harry was very sorry about that).

Julieanna has pale skin, freckles, big green eyes, and copper red hair that goes down to her shoulders. She also has a scar on her left cheek.

Part 70

Hinata took charge of mixology for the wedding, knocking out 2 of the wedding requirements right away!

Jane also fulfilled a requirement by making a toast to an empty room. Talk about over-eager!

Thyme missed the toast, since she was so busy gushing about her excitement to her twin.

Meanwhile, Snow White did her best to ingratiate herself with her daughter-in-laws family. Not even too-famous-to-talk-to status could stop her natural charms!

Thyme was so grateful to her mom, and promised to make her proud. Even though, of course, she already had; finally, Snow White's dream of having a child get married was coming true!

Shoutout to Apple for managing to get the Queen family in the right room! Well, except for Attina. But she always skipped the festivities.

The benevolent god had provided bouquets for the fiancees, but both had managed to misplace them when it came time to walk down the aisle. Maybe some sort of wedding sacrifice?

Thyme totally definitely didn't cry while walking down the aisle.

If Jane was overwhelmed by her future family-in-law's rambunctiousness, her composed walk down the aisle sure didn't give anything away!

She only had eyes for one sim there.

Anyway, back to the happy couple!

Thyme beamed the all the way through her vows and slipping the ring on her True Love's finger. On the other hand, giving Thyme her ring might be the one time Jane lacked confidence!

Not to worry! Thyme had enough confidence for both of them.

To finish off the wedding, the joyous newlyweds headed to the dance floor!

As always, they had to outshine everyone!

The happy couple shared their first bite of cake together under the gazes of Thyme's siblings. (Jane's entire family ran off half-way through)

With the festivities wrapped up, Thyme took a moment to say her goodbyes to her twin. Sage and Thyme had very different life paths now, but they were still each other's number 1, partners in crime forever.

With that, Thyme officially moved out with her new wife, ready to start an up-scale life in DelSol Valley.

Before talking about them, I wanna introduce my OC aka Miyō first. So, here she is.

Miyō (美葉) is an unlisted agent from D-Agency. She was recruited in secret and was trained by other agents to prevent information leakage (thus why she sees half of D-Agency's spies as mentors, though she'd still won't back off to making fun one of them or get annoyed whenever they're trying to mention/compare her with Miyoshi). She is Miyoshi's little sister, but there's no further info about Miyoshi and Miyō as siblings (you can interpret it yourself; whether they're related by blood, or half siblings, or even twins—both of them won't tell you the truth).

She has a deep hatred toward Miyoshi and her actions most likely were driven by her resentment. She's gentle with children and animals, but keep skeptical toward human. A jealous creature with envy as her seven deadly sins. I often portrayed her animal form as fox (which also lead to Japanese myth about fox spirit that often deceived people with their tricks and transformations—this also relate to her most skilled capability; acting). Her height is 160 cm with code name [Fang] and her (fake) birthday is June 22th. Her first love actually is Sakuma.

Now, let's dive into the yumeship 🐬🦊 aka AmaOC! :D

Another reason why I often call them with AmaOC is to prevent people misunderstanding this with Amari x Miyoshi which often shortened with AmaMiyo (yes, that ship also exist). Thus why; AmaOC.

I also like to use 🐬🦊 (at least in Twitter) to portray them; since we know Amari has a very close connection with dolphins and Miyō's animal form is fox (like I've written at the beginning).

Anyway, this yumeship isn't very different or special. This ship actually came when I was zoning out and thinking, "hmm, I think Amari is the only agent that exist without me shipping him hardly with anyone"—then, boom. Here I am, eating my own words :)

Basically they're just like (cough) partner in crime couple, the power couple type. Amari has been mentoring her during training and probably just thinking her as a mere girl (who was lost in a bad place). Miyō didn't like him (yet) (haha) and thinking he's a jerk who keep changing romantic (or bed) partners as him canonically talking to Odagiri why he keep changing woman in preview for episode 12.

So, yeah, after that it's just another type of love-hate relationship before it finally came into romantic one (although Miyō actually/canonically (by me) was died after Pearl Harbour incident) (HAHA).

I think after that Miyō would see him as someone she can rely on (especially in her worst, or during her bitterness emo era), while Amari sees her as, well, cute (especially when crawling broken and bruised to the top), also as another spy from the same agency tho (so he actually kinda admitted her skills and capabilities).

So, yeah, finally it came to: dog person x cat person; smile all the time x grumpy all the time; calm energy x angry energy; "i don't need protection" gf x "trust me, she won't need them, YOU'RE the one who need them" bf; calm bf x angry gf; height different couple (15 cm height gap); age gap couple (Miyō most likely 23 y.o while Amari probably around 28 y.o, thus 5 years gap).

Miyō basically still gets jealous (and irritated) whenever she found out him sleeping around (whether it's for work or just another escapades), but she's just like, ("ok fine, I also sleep with another man when it involving work tho") and trying to brush that off (but still bitter and ALWAYS mention about it in front of him). So, jokes on her, she was, "eww, what a jerk" to "oh right, he's MY jerk, fuck it" (HAHA).

I know I haven’t been talking about the kids recently but I do have a reason.

The collections not complete yet.

I have Leosagi kids and Raphmona kids but not the others. I have been crafting the kids as I go through the couples. Thinking what works for them and what I can see for their future.

It’s hard to talk about favorite cousins right now because we don’t have all of the cousins here.

I can talk about how Jotaro and Benigno are close to one another. Jotaro is the oldest of the next gen so he has unique relationships with his cousins especially Beni. Beni is Raph’s oldest and a year younger then Jotaro. Since their dads co-lead the two defiantly think they are going to take over their dads spots one day. They try really hard to work well together but they are kids and end up butting heads sometimes.

Yet I still don’t know the full dynamic. I haven’t thought of April and Sunita’s kids yet or how they will effect the dynamic of the group.

I haven’t thought of Mikey and his future. I have some ideas but I’m still playing with them.

Donnie though. Donnie I have some feelings about. I can’t reveal a lot right now (you will have to wait for his valentines chapter) but what I do know is his first (maybe only) kid.

@thewitchwannabe has a wonderful child oc for Donnie named Minerva. Please everyone go look at their art it’s beautiful. They have this wonderful little comic of how Donnie decided to be a dad.

But they really got me think of what Donnie’s future kid would be like. And I love the idea of fun uncle Donnie. Him being totally content with being the fun uncle to his siblings kids. (It’s great he gets to spoil the kids and then send them back to their parents perfect gig) but I think it changes when Leo and Usagi announce they are thinking about a fourth child.

A fourth kid who they are planning on being a red eared slider. And his brain starts running. Where there’s a red eared slider ninja turtle there must also be a spiny soft shell ninja turtle. That’s the rules. Things don’t go well when him and Leo are separated. Obviously Leo’s kids going to need a partner in crime and Lisa just had her last kid.

So it’s up to Donnie

(He’s secretly wanted to have a kid for a while this is straight up justification. It’s a sign!)

So he goes to Draxum and is like hypothetically how would I create a child. Leading to a weird conversation for both of them.

But in the end there is a spiny softshelled baby turtle hatched ten minutes before Kaida (did Donnie plan that? Yes. He is the older twin his daughter gets to be older)

Yet he wasn’t expecting Usagi to put his family on lock down once Kaida hatched and he saw just how SMALL his daughter was. Donnie’s miffed that he can’t introduce their daughters but it’s FINE. Bonding times important.

But here the thing. Durning all of this planning. All this preparation. I can see him straight up forgetting to tell the family. Draxum just assumes it’s a surprise or Donnie’s already told everyone. But no. The only ones who know about his daughter are Draxum, Donnie, and his possible future partner.

This leads to the hilarious moment when Usagi finally let people over to meet Kaida. It’s been a month, it’s time. And donnie walks in meets his niece and just pulls out his daughter from a pouch he’s wearing. (The girls are ridiculously small)

Cue everyone losing their minds.

It was another one of those lazy afternoons where the Madrigal brothers rested in their shared room. It was during the rare instances where they weren't coming for each other's throats. Camilo and Carlos recently finished their chores and agreed to go chill in their room since they have nothing else to do. Currently, one of their phones was connected to a Bluetooth speaker as their favorite songs filled the room.

Camilo was mindlessly dancing along to the music while Carlos lied on his bed and lightly sang to the song. As the next song played, a knock on the door caught their attention. A fond smile rises on their lips when the door gently opens.

"Heyyyy, what are you guys up to?"

You greeted the twins. Camilo immediately goes jumping toward you and greets you with an embrace, you chuckled and returned the hug. Carlos quickly pushed himself off his bed and came over to you to pinch your cheek as a hello.

"Nothing much, wanna chill with us?"

"Sure! I have nothing to do anyways"

The twins lightly pulled you to the center of the room as they cranked the music louder. You met Camilo and Carlos as children when you moved in from across the street. The friendship was sudden but expected to bloom from both you and their families. You got along with the brothers splendidly, the three of you developed endearing chemistry.

The three of you were a team, it wouldn't be the same if one of you were left behind. It is always you, Camilo, and Carlos. You couldn't ask for the best partners in crime. Camilo may be the most reckless of the three but he's sympathetic and emotional, he often cared for others, especially you. Carlos was quieter and reserved, he can come across as rude and cold at moments but he also had a heart of gold like his brother, he cared about you deeply.

You're aware that Camilo and Carlos don't frequently agree with each other, they loved pissing each other off, it was a typical sibling dynamic. Nonetheless, you adore them equally. Even though there are times you have to look over them to make sure they don't tear each other's limbs off, you know they love each other. 

Camilo, Carlos and you did a lot of things together. From sleepovers to going on outdoor adventures, all seemed the happiest when you're with them. Even in simple moments like these. You were singing your heart out with Camilo and Carlos. Your favorite songs blasted in the Bluetooth speaker and you screamed your lungs out like there was no tomorrow.

You say and went to sing the first line. You immersed yourself into the song, completely getting into it. You were pretending to hold a microphone as you stood on one of the twins' beds, acting like you were having a concert. Camilo and Carlos both let out a soft sigh as they admired you.

You were grinning and singing while the music played. The glistening look in your eyes, the soft sway of your hair, and your movements made the twins stop to watch you. Camilo thought you were heaven incarnate, you were in your element, the light seeped through the windows and hit your face just right. Carlos thought you were properly beautiful, you were shamelessly singing and dancing, something about it made him admire you even more. They were so lucky to have you.

It didn't take long for you to notice their fixed gazes on you. So, you raised a brow and jumped off the bed, and pulled Camilo and Carlos in a side-hug to catch their attention.

"Come on, sing with me!"

You told them. Camilo and Carlos shared a look as if they were having a telepathic conversation. The two had an identical gentle grin on their features that goes unnoticed by you since you're busy singing to the song.

"It's not over tonight. Just give me one more chance to make it right"

"I may not make it through the night. I won't go home without you!"

The smile on your face went from ear to ear when you hear Camilo and Carlos singing along to you. The three of you continued to sing songs from Maroon 5 to Post Malone, utterly busy bonding with each other. Easily, all of you lost track of time until the sun already sank from the sky. The moment one of you became aware of what it is when the Bluetooth speaker ran out of battery and died.

"Awww, it didn't even let me finish the song!"

You pouted. Camilo ruffled your hair as Carlos softly laughed at you. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door as Dolores' head comes peeking through. She sees you waving to her as she scans her eyes from Camilo to Carlos, a knowing smile spreads across her face.

"Oye, hermanos. It's time for dinner. Oh, [Name], you should have dinner with us tonight"

"Okay!"

You replied to Dolores as she giggled quietly and went away. Camilo and Carlos scoffed, Dolores was pretty sly for pulling that off. Swiftly, you grabbed both of their arms and tugged them with you.

"Let's go eat! I'm starving!"

Camilo and Carlos couldn't let out a protest as they let you drag them downstairs. As you shared dinner with the Madrigal family, they can't help but think how lucky they are.

Okay I still have to fix some anatomy and clean up stuff (I wanna do a full outline and color for them), BUT HERE IS A WIP OF LUPIN IV CHARACTERS.

Left to Right

Renee Lupin (her brother and her are hawaiian/french/japanese) (older twin, uses a magnum most of the time, other times uses brass knuckles) (while both her and her brother were thieves, he was more of an artist about it and she was way more seedier when she went solo. pissed off too many people eventually and had both Interpol and many criminal organizations on her ass. the better shot between the two, she doesn't piss off as many people as she used to now lol)

Lupin IV (weapon of choice is a Walther PPK) (younger twin, won the Lupin name in the end(Renee wanted to claim his name) during a few years of him and his sister being rivals from the ages of 17-24. he saved her life from when she flew too close to the sun and they both became partners after that) (both love the thrill of being a thief, he prides himself in doing things his own way)

Haru Archer (Jamaican/Japanese) (ex-mercenary for hire that was trying to rise up the ranks in the mafia that hired him. his deceased dad was friends with Daisuke Jigen, both used to be some of the top snipers in the business and that carried over to Haru, who is a great sniper and good at hand to hand combat to fend off people that try to flank him. He originally just took this job because he knew he had a skill for shooting and wanted to support his family, but his huge extended family cut off ties with him when they found out he was killing people for a living. Misses his estranged siblings a lot. Joined the Lupin gang after he failed to kill Renee, who his boss had old beef with and tried to kill him for his failure. Renee kept him from getting killed and the two sparked a respect and rivalry for their skills with guns. Joined because of her, becomes Lupin IV's best bro later.)

Ryoichi Ishikawa (Japanese and literally the baby of the kids and the shortest. he's actually not in a life of crime or anything like that in in anyway, he's the youngest brother of Goemon Ishikawa XIV, and is majoring in Japanese History and Mythos, along with minors in world history. He wants to be a professor, and although he doesn't understand the route his brother went, he respects it since it's how their dad was and keeps in touch with his older brother. Sometimes gets dragged into Lupin IV bs and groans about it. Not much of a fighter but knows how to use a gun enough to not get killed.)

Goemon Ishikawa XIV (Japanese as well, older brother of Ryoichi. didn't inherit the zantetsuken, actually earned it in a duel with his father. took many years to achieve, though, his dad whooped his ass a lot LOL. while walking a similar fashioned path as his father, he also tries to understand all the strange choices his whole family has made. half of them were bodyguards for hire, which made sense, but some of them (especially his dad) would take part in stealing from others. he has a bit of a black and white mindset for a while until he meets lupin twins on his path of self discovery, he is set to kill them. he never really respected or understood the legacy or man of lupin iii even tho he only vaguely remembers meeting him twice as a child, so he has about as much less respect for his kids as well. after failing a month of killing him, the people who hired him put a hit on goemon as a lesson for being a 'piss poor hire'. he had been pretty well keeping up with lupin twins, they just happened to get lucky every time in not dying. after a big fight breaks out and he takes down a lot of guys, he still gets his ass kicked to the teeth and lupin iv and renee save him. while he's healing him and lupin iv have a big enlightening talk that i have saved somewhere but i dont wanna write this longer than it is atm lol. it basically ends in him finding a newfound respect for them and ends up joining them a lot, tho he still goes off to do his own thing too)

Sayuri Mine (is this her real name? who knows lol, both her and her sister are cheeky like that) (Japanese, youngest Mine sister and a world infamous jewel thief. She does espionage from time to time with her sister, she's very much like her mother in many ways but also a bit different. For example, she doesn't backstab nearly as much as Fujiko since she's a tad more sentimental though she keeps things interesting and still likes to come out on top of everyone. Easier that way to protect yourself. She had met the Lupin twins briefly here and there as kids but totally forgot about that since she didn't pay it much mind, and ran into them again when Renee and Lupin IV had just started teaming up as adults. She ended up getting way with a famous painting over them since her appearance seemed to throw them off, much to Renee's annoyance. Ever since then she found their partnership intriguing and would get roped into things, Lupin IV enjoying how much of a wild card she could be.)

Kiyomi Mine (japanese, older sister of Sayuri and more of a spy than a thief. She prides herself in her work and wishes to be the best of the best in the espionage business. Same age as the Lupin twins, her and Renee have an interesting rapport even though Yomi always calls her out whenever Renee is bitching at Sayuri. she cannot stand lupin iv most of the time, thinks he has a head up his ass and is going to get her sister hurt. sometimes teams up with the lupin gang (mostly initiated by her little sister dragging her into it), always is dressed in a fashionable suit and is pretty versatile in many weapons.)

Kiyoko Zenigata (Japanese. Might have an older sister, still working on that idea, but she has taken the route of going to interpol in a similar fashion to her father, but she isn't an Interpol agent because of the Lupin twins. She became one after showing explementary work in Japan and was invited to join Interpol. A good chunk of her superiors do respect her and she does have people when she takes over a new Lupin taskforce that respect her, but it wasn't easy. She was originally given the new Lupin case as a joke that she wasn't very happy about, she wanted nothing to do with the name Lupin (even tho Lupin saved her as a child, and she had a soft respect for him); she thought it was ridiculous because she was a Zenigata that she got stuck with two brats living it up off their dumb father's name. Eventually after catching them the first time, she realizes it's not like that and has a new resolve to catch them for good. She sees a challenge to take that is worthy of her attention and goes for it. Kiyoko is very headstrong and has a huge resolve just like her father, although she actually has more of a life outside of her than he does. But she takes the case very seriously and puts her everything into it.

She's a divorced single mom to a teenage boy as well. The oldest of the whole group.)

anyway! Questions from here

10. Your character has discovered that they only have a week left to live. What do they do with that time?

Igraine is egotistical enough to not believe it at first, the first and second day would be her completely living in this denial until she caves to Castello and takes more tests. From there, her time is all about cheating her way out of death; her thought process is always that she can get another body if it comes down to it. She would spend most of her time with Castello as well, as they are extremely close.

Catherine is a lot more normal in her reaction to the news, being more familiar with mortality and without the continent sized superiority complex that Igraine has. She would spend at least a day reminiscing and crying, and deciding what she wants to do. Given the choice of how to spend her time, she would immediately return to her hometown and hunt the rest of her family down before sorting out her will. Without the choice, she would become a permanent fixture at Lady Dimitrescu's side until she dies, at which point she would be turned into wine.

20. How would your character define love?

Igraine defines love as unwavering commitment bordering on obsession, lacking all morals. For her, doubt is impossible to have for people she loves; its why shes so loyal to Lady Dimitrescu and Castello. All that matters is proving that, no matter what, you'll be there; its something i'm super excited to explore in the forbidden happy end fic, since this clashes with Lady Dimitrescu's more romantic ideas of love.

30. Does your character have a family? If so, do they get along well with them?

Yes! Igraine has a big family, if you count the hundreds of other weskers running around. She only knows about ten of them that are still alive, and is only close with Castello, to the point where they market themselves as twins. Otherwise, she doesn't know her birth family and has no desire to find them.

Catherine has a dad, two siblings and a niece. They were very close knit before she disappeared in the romanian wilderness, as they shared a lot of the same tastes in music and movies and worked close together but they wouldn't get along if she returned after working for Lady Dimitrescu.

40. Do people expect a lot from your character or look up to them for something? Why or why not?

For both, yes. Other than just job obligations, Igraine also bears the expectations for being a "better species" from Castello because of the whole eugenics upbringing. It's doubled as Castello is mold infected and thus they can't be the same as they want to be.

Catherine, as one of Igraine's and Lady Dimitrescu's favourites, is also expected to perform well. Specifically, she's expected to show enough aptitude for favourable cadou exposure.

50. What's their earliest memory?

Igraine's earliest memory is walking in an umbrella observatory. It's a very fuzzy memory since it's ~40 years old. She remembers the walls turning blue as the roof opened and going from a pitch black room to see a sky dotted with more stars than she had ever seen in her life.

Catherine earliest memory is a family day trip before her other dad passed. She remembers the smell of the ice cream and suncreen, the buzz from the cicada she caught and the clear sky, though the faces in the memory have begun to blur.

60. Have they ever committed a crime, or something they felt was wrong? What was it?

YES. Igraine's liberal approach to morals lends itself handily to her life of crime, from petty thievery up to bioterrorism. There were only 3-4 times she's done something that felt wrong, the big one being lying to Castello about why she killed their partner when they were younger. (It was because of attempted blackmail).

Catherine has committed larceny and torture, but she has only ever murdered one person, and she's felt terrible about it ever since.

70. When it comes to clothing, what's their style? Do they prefer natural or formal? Skinny or baggy?

Igraine prefers formal clothing and leans into the flamboyant style (and yes, i did google fashion styles). She tends to go for oranges and yellows, and prefers big chunky accessories. In the castle she's much more subdued, but that's because Lady D chose her clothes.

80. How do they spend a rainy day?

Igraine likes to spend time outside on rainy days. She'll either wait until the storm is really ramping up to go for a walk or will wander around when its constant but light. Once she's had her dunk, she spends the rest of the day in blankets reading, or prepping for sunnier times.

Catherine drinks a hefty amount of coffee and is Lady Dimitrescu's preferred accessory during rainy days. Her hands are much steadier than anyone else in the castle, making her ideal for painting sessions, darts, harp playing and tinkering and fixing simple electronic mishaps. Otherwise she remains in the staff quarters, playing cards or dominoes when she doesn't need alone time. She's very social, so she tends to be around people when it rains.

Does anyone else think the Chucky series is really ooc or is it just me?

I’ll be honest I haven’t watched any full episodes because I don’t have cable or a subscription option to watch the show and I haven’t had the time to actually find a bootleg website to watch it lol so I can’t say I know everything about the show lmao but yeah. I have watched LOTS of clips on YouTube so I know kinda what’s going on for the most part.

I just think that the characters (the old ones not the new of course lol) are really ooc to me. Like Chucky just wants to take over the world like an evil villain now? Okay then? You do you I guess? Andy, Kyle, Nica, and even Eddie in the flashbacks didn’t bother me though. They all seem pretty in character (also we don’t know anything about Eddie Caputo except that he was Chucky’s best friend and partner in crime in Child’s Play so we can assume he’s just as messed up and crazy as he is. So that’s why I’m not super bothered by his character. Also I’m glad we FINALLY got some background info on Chucky and how he met Eddie and Tiffany but anyways) but Tiffany, Glen, and Glenda’s characters really felt ooc and so did their relationships.

Like the twins don’t remember Chucky? And Tiffany told them he was a deadbeat who left them? (Okay well that I can understand because she was kinda pissed at Chucky at the end of Seed, but it seemed like they made up when Curse and Cult happened, y’know? But yeah Chucky loved his kids. He wasn’t the best dad ever, but he tried to get along with them and wanted what was best for them at the time just like Tiffany did). Anyways, like did they get amnesia or something because you’d think they’d remember everything that happened during Seed even after getting separate bodies and being human babies and all that? Like we’ve seen at the end of Seed that Glen still remembers their mom as Tiffany and their dad as Chucky after 8 years of being human. Glen even received Chucky’s arm as a gift for their 8th birthday and kept that picture of them and Chucky all those years. I mean, yeah that could’ve been some kinda supposed nightmare scene but even still that shows proof Glen remembered who their parents really were as a human, so y’know…that’s really weird that they just randomly forgot? I can understand Glenda not remembering much since they were kinda in the background of Glen’s mind, but would come out when wanting to commit violent acts. I mean, we even hear Glenda say they remember killing Joan in Seed of Chucky, but they think it’s some reoccurring nightmare/messed up memory. Like I said, I get that, Glen was mainly in control for most of the movie so that would make sense, Glen forgetting though, does NOT make sense. And you’d think if they did remember that they’d tell their sibling because they obviously are super close in the series (which is really awesome because even I assumed that the twins would have contrasting personalities and dislike each other lol) and tell each other everything. Oh also Chucky NEVER called Glen or Glenda “Shitface” that was Glen’s “name” given to them by that goth British “ventriloquist” (I think his name was Psychs?) before they actually got named by Chucky (and Tiffany). Chucky laughed at their name when they introduced themselves, but he NEVER called them that. In fact, he wanted to give Glen a name so he wouldn’t have to call his own kid “Shitface”. It was never an “affectionate nickname”. I think they just wanted to make a reference to Seed of Chucky by making another plot hole lmao.

Also the twins don’t know about Tiffany being a murderer or that she’s actually Tiffany and not Jennifer Tilly? She most likely still killed even while the kids were growing up and they probably would’ve noticed right? And yeah Tiffany was still acting like and being referred to as Jennifer Tilly since she took over her body, but she was still Tiffany y’know? She still had her Tiffany traits. And y’know Glen should remember that their mom’s name was Tiffany and their dad was Chucky and all that. I mean, Glenda watched Tiffany kill that nanny at her birthday party at the end of Seed and Glen’s whole deal was that they hated killing and violence while their parents killed people, you’d think they both would remember that right? Nope guess not, random amnesia for the twins for dramatic plot purposes I guess?

Also Tiffany’s toxic relationship with her kids is SO ooc for her! She’s such a horrible mom to them which is like a total 180 from the kind of mom she was in Seed. She was so kind and caring and affectionate and always tried to think of Glen’s (and Glenda’s) needs before her own even if that meant to stop doing what she loved (which was killing of course). I mean, yeah she had the whole thing about Glen being a girl and all that (of course that was a different time in 2004 so being non binary and queer wasn’t widely accepted yet) but other than that she was a really good mom to the twins even after they were born (as humans) and she always dreamed of settling down and having a family (she even felt that way in Bride of Chucky, wanting to marry Chucky and have kids with him). So why is she so awful now? Is it because her kids are grown now so she can act however she wants or something? Idk that’s just really weird to me that she’s like super selfish and not the sweet and loving mom she used to be.

The only other thing that bothers me is Tiffany’s relationship with Chucky. Like yeah we’ve seen in past movies that their relationship can be pretty toxic sometimes (or most times), but for the most part they adore each other and they’re basically soulmates lol. I mean Chucky eloped with her in Bride when he was acting like a total ass the whole time, that says something doesn’t it? He loves her and she’s just as crazy about him, they’re just mentally unhinged and psychos so they tend to argue and fight a lot (they also have big personalities too so they kinda clash sometimes). Idk I just miss Chucky and Tiffany being in love with each other like in Seed and Bride. I wish they’d bring that side of their relationship back because it was really nice to see and the fans love it tbh like Chiffany is A LOT of people’s OTP so I guess that says something too lol they’re like Bonnie and Clyde or I guess more like a Harley and Joker but less psychologically abusive lol

Oh also, Tiffany would NOT call the cops on Chucky the night he got murdered. That’s just not like her. She’s always been ride or die for him. I mean she even collected papers about his murders and him getting gunned down after he died. Maybe she was super guilty and started obsessing over him because she got him killed? Idk. Also wasn’t it Sarah that called the cops on him because he was holding her (and I guess Barbara when she wasn’t at daycare) captive and he was away getting her more sunflowers? Also that whole plot also feel just a tad ooc to me. So Chucky was cheating on Tiffany the whole time because he met a hot milf at a bbq? Idk that just doesn’t seem like Chucky. I mean he was out there trying to act like such a loving husband and family man to her when he despised the thought of marriage and kids for the longest time with Tiffany (y’know until it ended up happening anyways lol). That’s weird right? Is it because Tiffany’s just like him and he wants someone innocent like Sarah? I doubt it tbh. Also Eddie was there as a get away driver for Chucky the night he got shot so you’d think he just killed someone with him, y’know? Why would Eddie be there while he was hanging out with Sarah? Was he his ride or something? Because Chucky said he was gonna pick up Barbara from daycare, but Sarah told him to stay and the cops ended up coming (because Sarah most likely called them while Chucky was out). Now I did notice that Sarah was gagged and chained to the bed/couch/table thing she was laying on so maybe that’s why she supposedly didn’t call the cops, but it’s weird that the cops showed up THERE and that Sarah stalled him long enough for the cops to get there. Or did Tiffany know about him and Sarah and knew where he’d be? She was apparently pissed that he killed someone while she was at the store and she thought killing was “their thing” so it was practically like cheating on her, but there was never any mention of another woman he was cheating on her with, so yeah. Idk that whole plot is just so weird to me

Anyways, as you can see there’s lots of plot holes in this show (and pretty much in the newer movies too lol) that honestly made me not want to try and watch it now and the characters are just too ooc for my liking. Imma just stick with my version of the Ray family if you don’t mind lmaoooo

TL;DR: Rox is 21, I guess?

the events of the canon timeline takes place in early spring of 2016. so Levi has just hit his 30's. he was born in early October but the exact year of his birth is hazy with his serve memory lose- but he forcefully adopt Rox as his sibling after he leaves Gelnbrooke, and Rox is still impressible but ultimately damaged (So Rox would have to be pre or early teens?)

The O'Dare Twins were born in June, 1990- making them 26 (But Levi met and looked out for Heather in Glenbrooke. Levi left before Heather and Heather escaped when she was 19 or 20 so let's say 2010)

Logan is a year younger being 25- her car accident happening in spring of her senior year of high school, 2008 (But Rox has to be an age that isn't too creepy as they somehow get involved in a queerplatonic poly relationship with Heath and Logan...?)

So lets say... Levi is five years older then Heath and Heather- making him 30 and born prolly in '85 then... he'd be 24 when Heather escaped Glenbrooke and he would have met Rox by that point

Idk, let's Rox was born in 1994, 9 younger then Levi, that would make them 21 at the start of the main timeline as Rox's birthday is in December.

The entity's eyes shifted onto the icy spear that pierced the permafrost beside him. It was about time she made her introduction, he was starting to worry if she would stalk him until the icy terrain simply receded.

He turned, the long red fabric of his one shoulder cape whipping in the wintry gusts. Meeting Jewel's eyes with his, completely dark as shadow except for the two smoldering red suns of his irises which studied the feral figure before him.

He wanted to explain that he came not to fight but to foster connections amongst the demons that resided outside of Hell’s domain. But a tug from within his chest told Abidel that Jewel wouldn't be open to talk, but prefer to brawl. She was a creature of the old ways, which cared little for niceties or charm, rather carrying on with brutality of tooth and claw. A method Abidel was quite familiar with himself.

Plus he was a trespasser within her land, she didn't take kindly to those who came uninvited. Abidel respected that. Additionally he was the mysterious stranger so many have been taught to fear, not a factor that proved him much of a warm welcome anywhere.

He wasn't afraid of fight, Abidel knew as he grab the bident that he had strapped to his back, that with the return of the staff's prolific powers he walked away fairly unharmed. But Jewel, how would she fair against such an odious artifact? If Abidel couldn't pull his punches due to the reawakened nature of the bident, would he destroy her?

He had come to mend bridges not to sew more discord and strife. But what choice did he have?

"I did not come to you looking to fight." The entity spoke in a voice that rolled from his throat like tobacco smoke, warm and intoxicating, but undoubtedly dangerous. "But I am inclined to give you one."

hmmmMMMM once again too broad but i'll try i'll try

part of the fun of jackson and jillson is it's entirely impossible to tell what they are. siblings? lovers? partners in crime? friends? queerplatonic partners? married? inexplicably, twins? dating? friends with benefits? best friends? acquaintances who just love fucking with people but don't actually personally care and are more work friends? who knows!

although personally i don't buy that they're not close

if i were to choose i'd probably go with QPR but i think really the fun comes from the ambiguity of it all

anyway i do think they're very close to each other and don't really have anyone else. and while they're very loyal to curtain...

probably out of like. well, serious reason: he "took them in" and gives them approval, power, reassurance (even if it's manipulation), because he's very good at making kids feel like he's an authority figure they can and should trust, look up to, and work for--but still respect and defer to. he's charming, he's manipulative, he's slimy as hell, and if we're to think of the "special recruits" as show canon as well, not to mention just vibes, it's very likely jackson and jillson have been in this kind of environment from a very young age. and while curtain very specifically fosters and environment of not trusting other kids, no friendships, etc., particularly to promising students he wants to make messengers/executives, they ended up falling into each other as like. partners? almost as One Person, still isolated from everyone else, but now they're like. very close. they only have each other, and their loyalty for dr. curtain.

that being said they're not just like. innocent victims entirely either, i mean, they are, but they also very much enjoy being weird and bitchy/mean/almost if not straight up cruel, and using their power over younger students. but they were, you know, trained to be that way. so.

that being said unlike book j&j i don't think show j&j are necessarily sadists who love pain or whatever. they're more like high school bullies or mean girls or like. someone who does take joy in being an asshole and having power but like, probably wouldn't be laughing if someone got actually seriously really badly hurt. i mean, there's a limit. they'd probably still laugh far after they should tho

but i think a lot of the institute kids we see are like that, like martina, kind of. emulating curtain and those are the kids that succeed. like obviously not every kid is like that, lindsay seemed fairly chill and isaac was sweet, but i do think it's at least a pattern and shows that specifically that kind of behavior is rewarded

anyway i love jackson and jillson and i feel like they really rely on each other and no one else and are genuinely loyal to curtain

Teyvat, the twins, and the Archons: a theory

Hello today I will be explaining my genshin impact theory which is most likely right because I say so and I have an inflated ego

Note: I will be referring to the MC as traveler and the Leader of the Abyss Order as such or as the missing twin for neutrality’s sake. And also because I chose Lumine and I can’t bear to say Lumine is “evil”

Note after writing all of that: Actually, I’m wrong. Reading it made me realize how batshit off the rails it all sounds. But here it is anyways because it’s a funny theory.

Contains multiple spoilers for the entirety of the game (1.3 edition)

Part 1. Gnosticism, Archons, and Humanity

I think by now, most of us have heard of the Gnosticism theory. If you haven't heard of it, Gnosticism is the belief that humanity could be more than what we are at present because of the world we're in.

Gnosticism has many versions but the basic concept of it is that humans are stuck in a fake world where our full potential is locked away because of our belief in false gods. The true God is the creator of the true world and between us and him, are beings called Aeons. One Aeon who is called Sophia (meaning Wisdom) created a being who thought of himself as the One True God and created the physical world in his flawed image. Oh, and he gave seven beings rule over the world he created, who are called the Archons.

Under Gnosticism, humans are thought to be part physical, but also have a spiritual component in us that grants us divinity. But because the false god and archons actively work to make sure we never realize that there is divinity within us, we never reach our full potential.

Connecting this with genshin impact, the humans in Teyvat have access to visions that give them power, as well as a chance to attain godhood. However, they believe that it is a gift from Celestia instead of a thing any of them can attain themselves. In fact, they don't even know that if one "receives" a vision, they can become gods because it's a secret that only Archons are privy to. Venti says this himself at the end of the prologue section of the main storyline when we ask him about visions.

It seems like Celestia doesn’t want humans to ascend to godhood. If we pair this  with what we know from the Main Storyline trailer that Dainsleif narrates, it becomes clearer. He says that Celestia goads humans with their seven treasures, rewards for the worthy, the doorway to divinity. However, it seems like there is a warning for those who dare to try and ascend, as if they say that the throne in the sky is not for us even if we have the means to.

Doesn’t that seem to contradict the purpose of the vision? Yes, it is a means to help humans live in Teyvat, but why give out visions when the Archons know fully well that it could help them gain access to Celestia? Doesn't it then seem like visions are not gifts from the Archons but instead innate power that all humans possess?

Part 2. What are the twins + What is Dainsleif + What are they doing in Teyvat + the Genesis Pearl = A Loop

Most signs point to the idea that the twins are actually older than they look. It seems like Lumine and Aether landed in Teyvat at least 500 years ago during the cataclysmic event that wiped out Khaenri’ah.

Going back to the idea of Gnosticism, the true God sends out Messengers of Light to the false world to guide the humans to their full potential. And we see traveler helping their companions ascend further, reaching their fullest potentials when they “max out.”

Furthermore, it doesn’t seem like they’re human. During the 1.2 Dragonspine event, Albedo does tests on us, and though he doesn’t tell us his complete findings, he alludes that we are like him, created from a substance that is yet to be defined. This goes off from the theory that he’s a homunculus, created from chalk, purified soil, the building block of the world. Aside from that, after our fight with Childe, one of the dialogue options after he mentions the fact that traveler can use both anemo and geo, is that they’re slowly gaining back their true power.

And of course, when the twins first enter the world, they have actual wings which were stripped by the Unknown God. Doesn’t seem very human to me.

So, if the travelers are Messengers of Light, then why is that not their main goal? Based on the We Will Be Reunited trailer, when the Abyss Mage mentions the traveler to the missing twin, their face looks shocked, like they just remembered that they have a twin. There’s desperation in their steps when they rush to the cliff to see their twin again, like it’s been so long since they’ve seen their sibling who they literally forgot. I think that aside from stripping them of their power, the Unknown God also took away some of their memories.

So the missing twin might remember the actual purpose as to why they’re in Teyvat, but didn’t remember their sibling until recently, and traveler remembers their sibling but doesn’t remember the reason why they were in Teyvat in the first place (or they do but that isn’t their main concern since they’re putting their sibling first).

So how does Dainsleif relates to this particular segment? Well, in another version of Gnosticism, Aeons come in pairs. Sophia’s partner was Jesus. Now, in the Main Storyline trailer, Dainsleif alludes to a woman when at the very end of the video where he says “My memory has all but faded completely, but I will always remember, how she too loved these flowers.” The flowers are the flowers Lumine especially likes, the ones she adorns in her hair. A flimsy connection it may be, but a connection nonetheless.

Now, I’ve seen theories about Dainsleif being an older version of Aether, but that theory doesn’t hold water if you choose Lumine as your traveler or if you consider the fact that Dainsleif and Aether don’t share the same eye color. Yet, it’s not completely off. There are thirty Aeons in total, although this number can differ in other versions of Gnosticism.

Now, in Dainsleif’s quest, we immediately question this stranger as he is somehow omniscient, if we haven’t already questioned him with all his narration in the Collected Miscellany videos where he hints that he knows more than we do. I will say it now: I think that Dainsleif takes upon the role of Jesus.

I could be wrong. But I think I’m right. For now.

In another version of Gnosticism, Jesus goes to the false world and saves Sophia, as she forgets who she is, she forgets her divinity and is stuck there. If we follow the theory that Dainsleif is actually the second heir from the Gnostic Chorus teaser, and that he is searching for the Genesis Pearl. The Genesis Pearl symbolizes the beginning and purity that is incorruptible. This could be the essence of Sophia, the lost Aeon who incidentally created the false god.

Back to the Main Storyline trailer, Dainsleif says that the war has already begun, and that is just a continuation of past battles. We could take this in a sense that the conflict has reached its boiling point and that it was only because all these problems were left alone for too long. However, we could also consider the possibility that Dainsleif has lived through whatever the twins are going through right now because he is the first Messenger of Light to step foot in Teyvat.

We can also look into Dainsleif’s name, which is a Nordic name, actually written as Dáinsleif. This means Dain’s Legacy which is the sword of King Högni, which aided him in a never ending battle that went on until Ragnarok.

It seems like the twins are repeating a cycle that has already happened to Dainsleif and whoever the unknown woman who also likes the flowers the missing twin likes. All four of them are Aeons or Messengers of Light.

So who is that woman? I have no idea. It could the unknown god but that feels like a stretch. The unknown god might actually be the demiurge, the false god that created Teyvat and the seven Archons, and not Sophia herself. It could also be Paimon who might have some kind of relation to the unknown god, whether it be that she is the unknown god, or she is a being from Celestia. Either way, both feel like shaky theories.

But of course, Mihoyo is only taking inspiration from Gnosticism and several other sources which could lead them to take creative liberties when applying it to the game.

Part 3. The Abyss Order and Khaenri'ah: war crimes against humanity

Going back to my point about the twins’ original goal to why they went to Teyvat in the first place, let’s question why the missing twin joined forces with the Abyss Order and began to lead them to burn the throne of Celestia.

While we don't hear the missing twin mention Celestia in the We Will Be Reunited trailer, the only other time a throne is mentioned is in the Main Storyline trailer when Dainsleif mentions that Celestia does not want humans to ascend to take up a throne in the sky.

Back to the safety of the game's actual lore, we understand that Kaenri'ah is a godless nation that might have underwent a calamity that might have killed off most of its people since they were closer to understanding the truth, and were technologically advanced, compared to the other nations of Teyvat. An alchemist named Gold ultimately led to this cataclysm due to their greed for seeking erudition.

It is safe to assume that Celestia wiped out Khaenri'ah and all the technology they created. We could also assume that the people were all killed, yes, but it would be better to assume they were cursed instead. Into what though?

The hilichurls.

In the archive section of the game, under the books, there's quite a lot written about the hilichurls, thanks to Jacob Musk. The author describes the hilichurls to be drawn to old relics of the past, with even attempts to recreate it. Their way of lifestyle is even described, and it looks like they worship the element itself and not the Archons who represent it.

Doesn't it seem like the hilichurls have a connection with the ancient civilization of the past? Not to mention their strange connection to the elements in which shaman hilichurls (samachurls) can harness the elements without the use of a vision? If I am correct with my theory, then hilichurls were once citizens of the bygone Khaenri'ah who discovered they could harness the elements without an Archon's blessing that came in the form of a vision.

It doesn't feel too surprising considering that for monsters, hilichurls are quite smart. They even display human-like characteristics. In the game, we see them dancing, sleeping, just minding their own business in general. They have their own architecture and their own language. In the Hilichurl Cultural Customs book, we even discover that hilichurls are not as barbaric as they are made out to be as they have leaders who decide their policies and course of action. It's as if they have their own culture.

Ultimately, the hilichurls are part of the Abyss Order. The organization's main goal is to get undermine Celestia's rule, and at this point of this mess I call a theory, doesn't that make them stand in a position where nothing is painted as black and white as it seems. Yes, they do heinous things like steal, possibly murder, and set off a dragon on Mondstadt, but it looks like they're operating through a "the end justifies the means" kind of morality.

And the missing twin shares this sentiment. As they had seen what Celestia had done to Khaenriah 500 years ago before the beginning of the prologue, their desperation grows. Their war with destiny will not stop until Celestia falls because it is their ultimate mission. Traveler has taken up the safer side of this war, wherein they help the humans but the missing twin has taken up the side of fallen humans. This is why they're not evil per se; just going through questionable steps to achieve a righteous goal.

Part 4. Teyvat and its Archons

Based on all that, it seems like I’m painting the Archons to be the bad guys. I am. They wiped out an entire civilization on the basis that they might learn the truth of the world, and their uncanny closeness to Celestia.

But we like Venti and Zhongli, right? Of course we do! However, they were still complicit in the downfall of Khaenri'ah and the limitation of humanity in Teyvat.

To start, Venti had his gnosis was forcibly taken from him. He doesn't seem to mourn over that (although he could be hiding it) and it looks like he can still present himself in a godly manner as we see in Venti's quest when he revealed himself as Barbatos to Stanley. When we spend time with him under the tree of Vennessa, while he divulges the secrets of Celestia to us, he still seems to comply with them. This could be chalked up to the fact that ultimately, he is Mondstadt's Archon and also the weakest of the seven. We could also consider the fact that at the time of Khaneri’ah’s downfall, he was in Dragonspine with Dvalin, dealing with Durin.

With Zhongli, it becomes a bit more interesting. He gave away his gnosis under the agreement of a contract we do not know the details of. But why he did? Why not because of his regret as the geo Archon and of love? Zhongli once ruled over Guili Plains with another god named Guizhong, the god of dust. Guizhong loved their people but perished during the Archon War. He then moved their people to Liyue Harbor and in her place, began to love them. Although he is stilted with the way he deals with his people, we see that he cares. Over the years, he has grown soft and shed the persona of Morax, a god who dealt with war. He says this himself and it feels like his ability to care extends beyond that of Liyue. It's possible he gave up his gnosis because he understands what the Tsaritsa is doing and what she's fighting for.

The Tsaritsa is the cryo Archon and the god of love. However, according to Tartaglia, she had to harden herself to go through with her plan. But what is her plan but an act of love for humanity? Wiping out Khaenri'ah could've opened her eyes to the inherent cruelty of Celestia. The timeline makes sense because Venti said that 500 yers ago, he knew her well but now, not so much. It’s at that point she loses whatever loyalty she had for Celestia. She had to steel herself and begin her plans to overthrow Celestia, which involves taking the gnoses of the six other Archons to fight the false god and alleviate humans from the hell they are in. That is her way of showing her love to humanity.

Teyvat is only a false world. We have seen many instances of this being hinted at like when Katheryne of the Adventurer’s Guild says “rebooting” or “error” as if she is only a program, or when Scaramouche says that the sky and the stars are all fake. Even in the game, if you take a closer look at the stars, it feels fake, as if it is a dome that traps the humans in Teyvat. Even more unsettling, when going deeper within the Spiral Abyss, the more stars you see which could mean Teyvat is actually upside down and that go deeper within the Spiral Abyss, we are ascending closer to the true world.

What greater act of love could the Tsaritsa commit other than giving humanity the truth?

Part 5. In conclusion: none of this makes sense

To summarize my main points:

Genshin Impact takes a lot from the mythos of Gnosticism

Visions are not gifts from the Archons but an inherent power from humans that come from their own "divinity"

The twins and Dainsleif are related in some manner

The twins are repeating a cycle that Dainsleif has already been through

The twins are suffering some kind of memory loss

The twins are in Teyvat to help humans realize their power

Celestia is not heaven but more like hell

Teyvat is a false world

The Tsarita is actually good

The Abyss Order is a morally grey organization

Archons are bad

This could all be wrong as this is only a theory. But the connections I pointed out make a bit of sense. There’s still more lore to uncover as we’ve only unlocked two regions and the Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies only have one volume out so far (this book is important because an Abyss Mage says that there is a lie within it) so this could all be debunked when new regions are unlocked.

Still, it’s a pretty fun theory to believe in at the moment. Thank you for reading this mess I call a theory!

So, as I said in a previous post, I spent the whole night yesterday making picrews, and I thought: “Why not make picrews of the fictional family that I love more than everything in this world?”

Anyway, here they are! This is a close representation of how I picture the Hyde family whenever I think about the TSG universe (I am going to come up with a different name for this universe one day I promise). I am also going to give you guys some glimpses about their quirks and their personalities, so, click on the thingy if you’re interested on reading that.

Unfortunaly, it was impossible to make Jackie and Gracie’s eyes the way I picture them (mismatched, lol. I know this is a controversial topic but every single time I see the show I notice how Jackie’s eyes are different colors and I add that to every single one of my fics. It’s one of her little flaws that only makes her more perfect). So just pretend that one of their eyes is blue-ish, and the other one is green-ish.

Oh, and as I post more and more picrews, you might notice that out of all the adults characters from the TSG universe, Jackie’s the only one who doesn’t have any wrinkles. Years of a very strict skincare routine payed off really well for her.

Hyde grew his beard back, mostly because I always picture him with a beard when he’s older. Oh, and sorry for the lack of sunglasses, he stopped wearing them everyday when Dylan was a baby (he kept taking them off his face and throwing them at the ground lol).

On the left, we see Layla, the eldest and the wisest from all the three kids. The age gap between her and her siblings is big, so they always run to her when they need advice about something. 

Layla’s a lot like Jackie, she cares about her looks, she’s a social butterfly, and she’s probably the most popular girl in school. She’s not shallow though, nor does she have the superiority complex Jackie had in the first few seasons of the show, Hyde and Jackie made sure to raise her well. 

Layla’s also a bookworm, and a big romantic at heart. One of her dreams is to publish an epic romance novel, and writing is probably one of her favorite things in the entire world. She has this little red notebook filled with heart stickers in the cover where she often writes poems -- and Jackie is the only person allowed to read said poems.

Her hair is naturally wavy (as showed in the picture), but she starts to straighten it when she’s older. She grew up in the 90s after all.

Then there’s Dylan, or as I like to call him, the Hyde’s little evil spawn.

Don’t get me wrong here, Dylan is literally so sweet, and he cares about his family more than anything in the world. He’s a sucker for his mom’s hugs and he wants to be like Hyde in the future, but he also has a lot of pent up energy, which tends to put him into some pretty funny situations.

Dylan has a partner in crime, his name’s Jordan and he’s Fez and Laurie’s son (I’ll post a picrew of him later too). I’ve based Dylan and Jordan’s friendship on the Weasley twins from Harry Potter, they are natural pranksters and they drive Laurie and Jackie insane. Red helps the duo out with their pranks sometimes, claiming it’s “payback” for all the years he had to tolerate his son and his dumbasses friends mooching off him and making his life “miserable”. Dylan and Red also have a cute bond, we’ll see more of that in the sequel.

As he grows older, Dylan gets tall. Like, Jackie’s a midget next to him, guys (that doesn’t stop her from coddling him though). No one knows where he’s got that height from, and he uses that to his advantage (by placing Jackie and Layla’s Pop music CDs on high places that they couldn’t possibly reach just to mess with them. Oh, and he also joins the basketball team lol).

He’s very protective of his family, like, really protective, and he doesn’t take shit from anyone. He has a special soft spot for Hannah (Eric and Donna’s younger daughter). Hannah is a year older than him, and she’s hearing impaired. One day a guy from school stole her hearing aid to mess with her, and he got the beating of a lifetime. Dylan was suspended and Jackie went to the school to yell at the principal and defend her son, because she’s that kind of mom.

Don’t get any wrong ideas about Dylan and Hannah though, they were raised like siblings.

Dylan’s very into cars (another thing in common he has with Red), and when Hyde finally gives him the Camino, he babies the fuck out of it.

And last but not least... Gracie. Or Erica, as Eric likes to remind everyone about it.

Gracie will only be three years old in the sequel, so we won’t see a lot of her personality, but as I said many times, I do plan on writing one-shots about the kids when they’re older once the sequel is done, so...

Hyde has a special nickname for her, he calls her his little “Goldilocks” because her hair is curly and it’s almost a golden color. She’s a very smart kid and she’s always drawing.

Seriously, Jackie and Hyde’s fridge is filled with Gracie’s drawings, it’s the sweetest thing. They never threw a single drawing of her away, they always keep them, and they incentivize her as much as possible when she’s growing up.

She grows up to be an artsy person, and she’s very talented. She’s not a social butterfly like Layla, nor is she a “badass” like Dylan, she’s an introvert, she likes to stay home with her parents (she loves her parents so much) and have movie marathons with them on the weekends instead of going out to party.

She hangs out a lot with Katie (Fez and Laurie’s youngest daughter), who’s her best friend and her complete opposite, they have a bunch of sleepovers where they watch a ton of horror movies together and stuff their faces with ice cream. Their friendship is really something else, and she’s the first person Gracie comes out to (yup, Gracie’s a lesbian).

Gracie and Eric are very close, and she gets him very into Harry Potter. It’s funny, because Eric insists that he’s a Gryffindor, and Gracie tells him he’s totally a Hufflepuff, which makes him mad and they end up bickering because of it. But overall, they love each other a lot, and Eric’s a father figure to her.

Her relationship with Jackie and Hyde is beautiful. She’s not afraid of asking them for cuddles when she’s feeling down, and they are literally her biggest supporters. When Layla moves out for good (insert very sad Jackie and Hyde noises), they turn her room into a mini art studio for Gracie, and she spends most of her days there, listening to music and painting whatever comes to her mind.

Wow, I got really excited and I ended up talking waaay too much, but well... I love this family so much, I couldn’t help myself.
