An aplatonic-spectrum term to signify "different" or "weird" perceptions of platonic relationships that are typically seen by those with ASPD.

This definition is intentionally vague because it is intended to encompass all experiences. For example:

Viewing being friends as something to be 'honoured', or something special that is only bestowed to those you trust.

Friendships being exclusively transactional — if you get no benefit, it's insignificant.

One may not care for social interaction and view friends as too much work / is repulsed by forming bonds / etc

I acknowledge that these experiences are not ASPD exclusive — I wanted this term for myself because my reasons for not wanting friends are too complicated, always fluctuating, & very deeply rooted in my disorder :,) I figured an umbrella term for myself would be nice.

Requisplatonic / Requiesplatonic : Being aplspec due to emotional exhaustion.

Bliskoplatonic

Bliskoplatonic: Only feeling platonic attraction when directly interacting with someone; said interaction can include texting, being near someone physically, playing a game together, etc.

Vitrumplatonic

Vitrumplatonic: Feeling disconnected or separated from one's platonic attraction. One may feel like they're viewing their platonic attraction through a glass wall.

Feaseplatonic

Feaseplatonic: A frayplatonic term for those whose platonic attraction turns into hate or disgust when acted upon.

Reicioplatonic ( Reicioapl / Reicioaplatonic )

A platonic orientation characterized by limited or no platonic attraction / interest / activity due to emotional exhaustion from repeated rejection, or an intense fear of rejection. It is similar to, and can overlap with or be used alongside, Requiesplatonic and Friendship-drained / Plato-drained.

( One example of someone using this label would be an individual who is Aplatonic, was Plato-neutral, who is now Plato-drained due to repeated rejection. They now consider themselves Reicioapl as they’ve lost all platonic interest in and their urges for platonic activities with those individuals. )

The flag colors and their meanings are inspired by the Requies- and the Aplatonic flags ( taking the bottom stripes from this Apl flag and this alternate Apl flag. ) Following the format of the other Reicio- flags, eg. Reicioaro, Reicioace, and Reiciorose.

Gold ( Yellow ) / Cream for Aplatonicism / Being on the Aplspec, Blue for exhaustion / rest, and the Grey stripe going through the Apl apple represents the absence of platonic attraction / interest / activity.

Reiciō is a Latin word which literally means to throw or repel, but can also be used figuratively to mean to reject. It’s pronounced /ˈrei̯.ki.oː/, [ˈrɛi̯kioː].

The grey divider on the white and yellow stripes - No longer Alloplatonic due to any reason or none, it also goes downwards and stops before the aplatonic stripes to symbolise that the person is now aplatonic

Aplatonic : a term used to describe people who do not experience platonic attraction. Specifically, it is most commonly employed by aplatonic people to describe a lack of desire to form friendships with specific people, or difficulty forming friendships in general as a result of neurodivergence or trauma. The word aplatonic is largely used within the a-spec, particularly aromantic, and neurodivergent communities.
