After a lot of debating with myself, I crumbled and downloaded Ikevil yesterday. I've crumbled a lot this year...Back in March, I downloaded Ikepri, after only playing Ikevamp for the last seven years (I might make a separate post about my feelings on the news...but I won't lie I am devastated).

I got into Ikevil not long after downloading Ikepri as a lot of Ikevil videos were getting recommended to me and I ended up falling down another rabbit hole...

I ended up binge-watching a lot of Ikevil videos and reading translations.

Long story short, I do have some questions and I could do with some active players to follow in-game. So I'll leave my Ikepri and Ikevil friend codes below:

One major question I have is why can't these games work around the same time zones?! It is so hard to keep track... I'm in GMT and Ikepri's JST. What time is the daily login for Ikevil and what time do the free story tickets reset?

I'm not sure what else to ask but if anyone has any tips they can leave me a message whether that be in the notes, or as an ask or DM.

Upon looking through it's actually a manwha called "No Home", which independent of the supernatural bits is actually a really good story. But literally the first 20 chapters are supernatural and then the writer just posts this

I will be rambling here because I don't get to talk about this often, so if you just wanted the manwha, there's the name. But tldr it's about people from broken or otherwise dysfunctional homes moving into a dorm house, and slowly managing to heal from their past trauma, with varying levels of severity. However, for the first 20 chapters the main catalyst is the MC getting robbed, the talisman given to the MC by his mother repelling ghosts being stolen and destroyed, stabbed, and then ending up in the same dorm house as the guy who stabbed him because he couldn't sign up for a regular dorm in time. The reason as to why MC doesn't just call the cops?

The house is possessed by real, actual ghosts, that only go away when there are multiple people in the house. The house itself has a bunch of ghost shit inside, it is the driving force of the plot for the first 20 chapters

Then by the 20th? Completely vanishes from the story with no explanation, hardly mentioned at all except in passing despite it being the entire reason these two are even living together, and eventually the author just went "yeah no this was meant to be a regular drama, the ghost stuff was just flavoring"

I do want to say, it is a very good story, and the ghost stuff even works with the main theme of dysfunctional families and homes due to how his mother was also obsessed with ghosts and trying to force it upon him, leading him to be terrified of his home and outcast his entire childhood, but it is still extremely weird how it just, stops being a thing eventually, and they stop including supernatural elements wholesale by the time the third MC moves in.

I am doing origami on my robot and now my brain is flat

I think I got the shapes and folds all right *muttering to myself* Now I just need to model it and hope that it works :) There’s several proposed problems that I came up with. There's "this will be one piece, so the surface area is more" vs "ah yes customizing and glue"

One big piece is harder to paint sections of than just having the piece be seperate. However, then, you have to figure out how it connects if not by fold.

Anyways here are the sketches/notes I've rewritten over the past few days enjoy.

My ideas for a NPMD Pokémon AU:

Okay so I know I’m not the only one to do this (shoutout @brokecorviknight ) but I’ve had this idea kinda rattling around in my brain and had to write it down.

Pete would have a blipbug (it’s perfect, blipbug is like a Pokémon version of him). I rly like the idea that he doesn’t have any Pokémon (he’s just not rly that kinda guy, y’know?) until steph takes him out to catch his first Pokémon and they see a blipbug and she’s like ‘okay, you HAVE to catch that”.

Steph would have some kinda cool Pokémon. I’m settling on Scizor because I love drawing it and also I love the idea of them both having bug types <3

Ruth would have a Toedscool. It matches her mushroom sweater and also just kinda feels like a nerd Pokémon, y’know? Like it’s kind of a weird goober creature. I love toedscool (had one on my Violet team) so this is also just an excuse to draw more of it lol).

Ritchie I’m not actually totally set on, cause I wanted him to have a Pokémon that has kind of an ‘anime’ vibe but the only one I could really think of was lucario. Think about it, lucario has these aura attacks, it’s fighting type, and in smash bros it has that whole ‘gets stronger the more damage it takes’ which just oozes a shounen energy to me. Problem is, it feels too cool for Ritchie. Like, Ritchie’s Pokémon needs to be kinda toedscool tier in terms of coolness. Maybe it totally works in a ‘trying to hard’ kinda way, idk.

Okay so for Grace I’m gonna be totally transparent, this whole idea came up cause I saw fanart of what the characters teams would be and grace had 5 cute Mon and then a Yveltal. I love that concept, but I think Giratina works better cause it’s basically Pokémon Satan. She’d get Giratina post black book, before that her Pokémon would be Maushold, cause it’s cute, normal type, and it has this very family-values kinda energy (remember that bug that made it so it didn’t have an evolution animation and people memed the shit out of it cause like….what else does that imply if not sex??). Also the Pokédex says that the kids just sorta appear…which is hilarious and total feels like some shit grace would say.

Max has Gengar, it’s a kinda funny foreshadow/reference to him dying and I bet he uses his gengar to bully ppl/pull pranks.

Current wip (actually I have multiple wips this one tho is just the one I'm actively working on) is of Cedric from the Day of the Sorcerers episode. I want to draw a few things from that episode actually...

The thing I'm drawing right now though isn't referenced from a scene. Why? Because uh I wanted to draw him without relying on the references entirely? Like as an experiment? I am still using references but what I mean is there's no direct ones if...if that makes sense.

No but this is exactly it. And I love it.

When Rick was first writing The Lightning Thief, he didn’t know exactly where he was going with it. But now, he knows exactly how the story is going to end. He’s going and making these changes for two reasons:

He’s adapting for the screen, point blank. Changes need to be made for any book that’s being adapted for the screen.

He has the foresight of how everything turns out, and he knows what changes he can make, while still staying true to the book, that will better the plot.

Virtually every change he’s made so far makes sense.

***spoilers ahead for those who haven’t read the books yet***

When I was younger and reading the books for the first time, I didn’t really understood how Luke was able to get so many demigods on his/Kronos’ side. I never got how he was able to rally so many demigods for an army to go into battle with.

But watching the show and actually seeing how these gods treat not just their own kids, but other demigods as well, I get it.

I would be angry too. I could easily see myself being persuaded to overthrow them.

Because you have these literal children doing everything they can to appease their godly parents. They will do anything they can just to be acknowledged by them, which doesn’t often happen. And on the rare day occasion it does, it’s not always a positive reaction, as we’ve clearly seen with Annabeth, Athena, and the arch.

Imagine being told that one of your parents is a great and powerful god, and that you are expected to worship and be thankful for them and the other gods, only to be completely ignored or even punished for doing the right thing.

You’d be angry and upset and vulnerable enough to the point of being manipulated into joining a cause that aims to take the gods down.

Or

You’d be like Percy and go on to fight for the gods to change their ways.

Another thing I think the changes Rick has made do is further exemplify Percy and Luke’s foil.

If you’ve read the books, then you know how Luke feels about the gods and their treatment of their children.

You also know that Percy has very similar feelings about the same topic. But they both go about those feelings and opinions in completely different ways.

I have so many more thoughts about their foil, I could ramble on about it forever, but I won’t. I’ve gotten away from the original point of this post, which is to say that every change Rick has made is well thought out, he knows what he’s doing, and I’m very much looking forward to the rest of the show.

there’s something strangely gutwrenching about the solstice having already passed. there have been minor changes in the “side adventures” of the trio.

they know they’re entering medusa’s house. they go to the arch for sanctuary against echidna and chimera. they go to waterland to help ares and convince hephaestus to stop being like his family. they go to the lotus hotel to get help from hermes.

in the books they’re getting tricked and distracted and losing all of that time on their quest was an accident. but they still made it in the end.

but in the show? they did everything right. they were aware of where they were at all times. but then they go and ask for help.

they try to ask for athena’s help and she lets monsters into her temple because they “embarrassed her.” they try to ask for hermes’ help but he doesn’t tell them until it’s too late that the lotus hotel messes with time.

they basically did everything right on their quest only for their biggest failures to occur because of the gods.

but poseidon gives him four pearls. four, instead of three. one for sally too. but we already know that she gets left behind.

they tried so hard only for the deadline to lapse.

While I like the concept of The Lamb gaining more eldritch and god-like features, I cannot get a comic idea out of my head for the characterization that they stay exactly as a normal sheep is, because they don't need to become anything else in order to enact revenge

They have blunt teeth that's not quite sharp, but they don't have to bite when their horns are hardy and pointed.

Their natural hooves and fingers lack any sort of claws, but they do not need them when they can pull a fist back to pulverize.

After a while, the Mystic Seller, the Bishops, they all expect the Lamb to gain eldritch features like they all did in their ascension. But they stay exactly the same: unassuming, mortal-looking, completely indiscernible from normal sheepfolk, and the Lamb wants that.

They want to look like a normal, mortal Lamb. They want to look exactly like the default prey animal when they kill the Gods. This image is who you killed, and this destroys you. They will not lose themselves, or else they will be erased entirely.

They are not grandiose or deadly looking. They don't mirror the ones that tried to erase them. They don't need to become anything else then The Lamb. The Lamb. The Lamb.

"After everything that was taken from me for being a Lamb, why would I give that up too? I am not the Bishops, I am not monstrous, I am not giant, nor do I have bladed wings or droves of eyes."

Call Meeting Interruptions

Thinking about another funny DeadTired AU idea.

So does anyone remember that one video of a guy doing a interview and his kids come in the room.

Imagine secretly married DeadTired. Tim is out of Gotham at the moment but in a video call with the Bats or maybe during a WE meeting (Bruce is in the call as well) when out of nowhere the door behind him opens and a Deaged Dani (Ellie), who comes in with a smile and walks in like she owns the place and not long after her in a baby walker Dante (Dan) comes in too, Tim is trying to keep a straight face but inside is panicking when he realizes he didn't lock his office door (which is coated with anti-ecto paint that only work when its locked and it keeps the kids out) knows there is no way to keep them a secret anymore.

Then Danny comes sliding in, grabs the kids, whisper/shouts a "Sorry Tim!" and gets them out.

Tim is silent for a moment, takes a breath and tries to resume the talk.

I'm absolutely losing my mind seeing "We need to not treat men and masculinity as inherently evil and worthy of hatred, and not fall back into biological and gender essentialism because that hurts everyone, including trans women" being misinterpreted as "Women need to stop oppressing men", "I think trans women are actually men" or "You specifically who have trauma around men need to get over it because men are the real victims". It's so willfully disingenuous. It makes me sick how willing people are to read in bad faith, especially how willing other trans women are to suddenly start harassing and dogpiling another trans woman.

I am a trans woman too, I understand what it's like to feel unsafe, but it helps no one this cynical attitude that crops up every time someone suggests being kind to men in our lives. "You could save a man you know from falling down the alt-right pipeline" is not the same as "It's your fault that men murder you". "There are people who could be on our side if we don't meet them with immediate hostility" is not the same as "You need to shut up and stop criticizing power structures for the sake of your oppressors' feelings" (I promise there are a lot of people who can be taught about their complicity in oppression without immediately shutting down but you need to work with them). This kind of attitude isn't somehow more informed or correct. It's just lashing out to avoid considering one's own agency.

Making a better, safer world for ourselves requires all kinds of work, but it's always work. It's hard to try to reach out to people who could very realistically harm us, it's work that not all of us can afford to or are able to do and that's fine because we're all just trying to survive. But some of you would rather condescend, tear each other down, and make more enemies before even considering it a possibility.

The Evolution of Blitzø’s Character Growth- Stolitz (Season 2.5)

Blitz starts off "When I See Him" not wanting to think about the complexities of his and Stolas' relationship, so he decides to focus on the one thing he does know: sex.

In "When I See Him" Stolas and Blitz are meant to be never on the same page, even going as far as to have Blitz only sing-talk as opposed to Stolas' Disney-esque style of singing.

He goes out of his way, excitedly looking forward to the sex they'll have afterwards. He's only thinking about the sex.

Full Moon happens and Blitz is hurt and betrayed, as he genuinely has no idea how to process the confession.

Beginning of Apology Tour Blitz attempts to win Stolas back, only for it to end horribly as he self-sabotages the fuck out of everything he has, refusing to let go of the mask he wears.

Later on...

Blitz is heartbroken to hear Stolas sing, and his admission, "I don't think you meant to hurt me because I don't think it meant a thing at all" destroys him.

He tries to make it right with Stolas (who is drunk), apologizes to him, lets go of the mask he wears, only to end up ultimately giving up and letting Stolas go in the end.

A month passes and Blitz has essentially given up on life, driving his business to the freaking ground...

One thing is for sure, he feels a lot of regret for what happened with Stolas, and has essentially given up on being with him.

A lot of shit happens to Blitz in Ghostfuckers as the trauma that he's kept buried for fifteen years is forcefully pried open with a wrench.

Only for Millie to be the one to save Blitz in the end...

Episode ends with major character development for Blitz as his mask falls off, and he promises to butt out of the M&M relationship, and as he subtly admits and acknowledges his feelings for Stolas....

What's beautiful about the Stolitz Duet in Mastermind is that it perfectly shows Blitzø’s character growth...

How Blitz went from initially thinking only about sex in regards to his relationship with Stolas....

How Blitz was never once was on the same page with Stolas in their first duet together...

Only to now be able to perfectly harmonize with Stolas in regards to their deep feelings for one another...

Stolas admitting that he sees Blitz as his shining light that taught him to be his own person...

To Blitz admitting that he sees Stolas as the key to his heart that he's kept locked up for years...

For them to finally sing in perfect harmony as they admit their genuine undying love for each other.

And when the fear of losing Stolas permanently, hits Blitz like a motherfucking truck...

He's finally... finally able to let go of his mask around Stolas as he does what he can to comfort him after he lost everything.

Showing the small bits of romantic intimacy that he couldn't reciprocate back in Apology Tour.

Blitzø Buckzo, you make me fucking sick... how dare you be this fucking soft and cute and tender and loving. This man is fully aware that Stolas is still angry at him, but he doesn't care, he's just happy to have his birb back.
